WWE LFG 3/23/2025 Episode 6

The Undertaker tells Shiloh he needs to not miss opportunities like he did last week and show everyone who he is. Taker says the opportunity will come and he needs to seize it.

Shawn talks to the wrestlers. He says some people have yet to be in the ring in front of real fans and says the people who haven't done it yet will be in the ring. He says it's sink or swim time.

Taker says the wrestlers will be on an island by themselves and says this is where the rubber meets the road. Elijah tells Taker he's ready. Taker tells him to pick someone to wrestle who he's confident with and he picks Anthony Luke. Taker asks Booker T for permission to do this. Anthony Luke says it's a smart decision and says let's get it.

Mickie talks to Chris about choosing his opponent. Drake will be his opponent. Taker tells Bayley it's time for her first match.

Dani is excited about having her first singles match in front of a crowd. Sirena will face Penina. Penina says she's ready for it. Shiloh says it's tough to sit by and watch others have a match. Tatyanna wants to know why she wasn't picked.

Bubba shows his crew footage of his ECW debut, not his real debut. He says they should do everything here but also not to do it. Taker shows his WWF debut to his team, but he was already a 3 year pro or so by then so that's dumb. Bubba said he didn't know why the crowd was behind him but it worked. Bubba said his stupidity wouldn't work for them but it worked for him. Bubba says you want the crowd to either like or hate what you are doing and you don't want them not to care.

Taker says something will go wrong during your first match.

Booker then shows his crew a match that was not even close to his debut either. Mickie does as well. Mickie says she was nervous. Booker admits this match happened after he was in the business for 2 years. Mickie admits she was wrestling for 6 years during the match that she shows.

Mickie says not to compare yourself to others. Chris says he wants to take his debut even more serious than Mickie did with hers.

We see the wrestlers get ready. Bayley says she looks bad@ss in her gear. Bubba talks to Drake about his match with Chris. Bubba says they need a point but he needs to make sure the person he's with gets through the match also. Chris says he wants any reaction. Booker tells Penina that we have to make them feel it and says to bring the hammer down.

Mickie tells Sirena it's okay to be nervous. Luke says he wants to put over Elijah and make him look as good as possible. Maxxine Dupri is there to support Luke. Elijah has his mom there for his match. Taker tells him to take a minute and enjoy it before it starts. Bayley said she already took her nervous poop.

Dani says she's been dealing with hip and back issues and has some fear. 

Bayley Humphrey vs Dani Sekelsky

This is Bayley Humphrey's TV debut. Taker says TV doesn't do her justice.

They lock up and Bay pushes her over twice. Dani tries to waistlock her and is rammed in the butt. Dani crossbodies her but Bay doesn't move. Dani side headlocks her. Dani side headlock takeovers her twice.

Bay backbreakers her then splashes her for 2. Bay bearhugs her. Dani jawbreakers her and hits running forearms. Dani flying shoulders her. Dani top rope crossbodies her for 2. Dani is thrown into the buckles. Bay does Crush's head squeeze and wins.

Thoughts: Bay didn't get to do much here but they had the idea right. It was a little boring but both looked fine here in Bay's debut.

Bay asks Taker if she looked scary and he says she did. He says Bay's facials were on point and said they did what they were supposed to do. Bay says it was fun. Taker tells her she's unique and different and tells her great job. He says he's proud of her.

Mickie asks if Dani is okay and said she did good making her look good. Dani says her back is bad but she is managing her symptoms and won't let it affect her. Dani then takes an ice bath for her back.

Booker tells Penina the butterflies will be there and she needs to make them fly straight. Mickie tells Sirena to take it slow and let it all sink in. 

Sirena Linton vs Penina Tuilaepa

This is Sirena Linton's debut.

PT pushes her into the corner. PT pushes her off the lock up but SL backflips. SL slides between the legs and they blow a spot. SL kips up. PT catches SL's crossbody then hits snake eyes on her. PT throws her around. SL misses a step up enzugiri. PT shoulders SL over.

PT elbow drops her. PT abdominal stretches her then fish hooks her. PT headbutts her and stomps her gut. SL punches her and they play spooky music. SL botches a headscissors and take a bad bump. We cut ahead and SL 2nd rope back elbows her for 2.

We go to break and return. SL high kicks her from the apron and top rope crossbodies her. PT catches her then samoan drops her. PT then pins her.

Thoughts: It was not a good debut for Sirena and she wasn't ready for this. She botched almost everything she tried and PT was not strong enough to catch her. You can see why they picked Sirena though as she's decent looking and athletic, but she had a bad night here. PT does do the right things though and I think she will be fine. The fans give PT the index finger point ala The Bloodline. This match was edited as they definitely cut ahead after the botched rana.

PT goes to the back. She should it could have been a lot better but it is what it is. PT tells Booker it was sloppy. Booker says she rushed. Booker says you gotta think about how to slow this down. Booker tells PT she could have done better but says look at it as a springboard.

Sirena asks PT what happened on the rana. PT says she couldn't catch her. Sirena said she didn't know what happened. Mickie said they had too much and should have done less. Mickie says it's hard to do the headscissors and that's why she does it out of the corner.

Sirena says the match was a lot of fun and she could do it for the rest of her life.

Drake tells Chris he got him out there.

Drake Morreaux vs Chris Island

This is Chris Island's TV debut. They lock up. Drake side headlocks him. CI rolls him up then Drake shoulders him over. CI does a nice leapfrog. Drake hiptosses CI then hits a nice dropkick.

CI hits some punches and forearms. Drake is thrown hard into the bukcles. CI takes his straps down. CI stomps Drake for 2. CI knees Drake in the gut then short arm clotheslines him for 2. CI chinlocks him.

Drake running boots him and hits chops and lariats. Drake atomic drops him and running boots him. Drake then chokeslams CI and pins him.

Thoughts: Chris has to work on his strikes but he can move well and looked fine otherwise. He didn't get a ton offense in. Drake looked good here and is definitely a lot more polished than anyone else on this show sans Shiloh.

Chris celebrates in the back and him and Drake are happy with how thier match went. Chris says it was everything he could ask for. Shawn Michaels tells him he has to work on his forearms. Bubba and Mickie agree that they don't like the forearms.

Booker tells Luke that everything in this business is a test. Elijah says there's nothing else to say, he just has to go.

Elijah Holyfield vs Anthony Luke

This is Elijah Holyfield's TV debut. Maxxine Dupri grabs Luke. Elijah's mom is in the crowd.

They pose at each other and lock up. Luke side headlocks him and Eli tries to power out of it. Luke shoulders him over and hits shoulders. Eli then flips him by the arm. Eli shoulders him over twice for 2. Eli is pulled into the buckles face first.

Luke stomps on Eli in the corner. Luke powerslams him for 2. Luke hits punches and dances. Eli then hits a punch combo in the corner in the gut. Eli hits more gut punches then Luke back elbows him for 2. Eli hits a nice back body drop.

Eli hits some punches then running lariats him. Eli shoulders him over. He hits a corner spear and a flying shoulder. Eli slams him for 2. Eli rolls him up and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a solid match here. Eli looked pretty good and knows how to put himself over as a strong powerhouse type. Luke did fine as well.

Eli gets an ovation as he comes in and he hugs Luke. Taker tells Luke great job and says they should be proud. Taker says what they were doing was the stuff people pay money to see. Eli then hugs his mom. Taker tells Eli's mom he killed it and says Eli was next level.

Shawn tells everyone good job and says it was just the beginning. Booker puts over Luke for being a general in the ring and says he gives a point to Elijah for doing good in his first match. He tells Bayley she will get his vote. Taker also picks Elijah and thanks Luke. He also picks Bayley.

Mickie votes for Chris. Tatyanna says the Penina match was difficult to watch and she feels bad for the crowd. Mickie gives Bayley a point. Bubba gives Elijah and Bayley points. Shawn says that was a clean sweep for Taker.

The standings are: Undertaker/Booker at 4 points, Mickie at 2 points and Bubba at 0 points.

Taker says you gotta play the long game. Booker says Elijah couldn't do what he did without Luke. Luke says he's going to the top. Elijah says he wants to get as many points as he can. Bayley says she was shocked. Taker says he has expectations and expects their best or they will have hell to pay. Taker says he wants the LFG belt.

Overall thoughts: It was the best episode of the series so far as it was mostly all wrestling here and less focus on the worked work stuff. There was also noticeably no BJ Ray on this ep. It was nice to see the various debuts though there were definitely some edits in those matches. Elijah Holyfield had a good debut and Sirena almost killed herself. Bayley didn't get to do a lot in her match but was okay and Drake looked good against Chris. I hope the show continues to have more wrestling focused episodes like this though I don't think this will ever be a smash hit.
