WWE NXT Level Up 10/28/2022

WWE NXT Level Up 10/28/2022

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo vs Tank Ledger

Tank has his cowboy hat on, vest and a weird half-full legged/half-shorts outfit with caution tape on it. Stacks runs into Tank and is stopped then Tank works his arm. Stacks boots him in the corner then Tank hits a nice leapfrog and shoulders him over. Stacks slingshots in and is caught with a shoulderbreaker. Tony d yells at Tank from the commentary booth then Stacks boots Tank in the face as he tries to enter.

Stacks hits mounted punches on Tank and Stacks hits a back elbow. Tony said they are maybe looking at adding a new member but doesn't say anything else about it. Stacks stands on Tank's fingers and tries some lariats but Tanks powers up. Tank makes his comeback with nice lariats then a crossbody. Tank splashes him for 2. Stacks running euros him then running facekicks him. Stacks then drops an elbow and wins it.

Tank looked good here and is one of the better rookies they have had. His comeback was good and while it wasn't a classic, it was decent, just a little longer than it needed to be.

Trick Williams is interviewed but is talking on the phone. Trick says he will take care of Brooks Jensen for an easy night tonight without Carmelo Hayes. Trick is asked if he is worried about Briggs being out there but not Melo, but he says he has the swagger and isn't worried. He says it's the showdown vs the ho-down and the Trick vs the Hick. He and the announcer then do a line dance. As usual, Trick did a good job here.

Thea Hail vs Jakara Jackson

This is Jakara Jackson's TV debut.  Thea is hyped up like usual. Jakara has red dyed hair, yellow glasses, large implants and a black and yellow outfit.

JJ snapmares her then Thea cazadora's her into a side headlock takedown. they say they think Bodhi is in the doghouse for missing class. Thea goes for another cazadora and is thrown down then JJ picks her up by the hair and pulls her down. JJ armlocks her. Duke Hudson comes out waving the Chase U flag that Bodhi usually waves and Thea notices it. Thea picks up JJ on her shoulders and does like a reverse F-U.

Thea blocks punches and hits her own then running double axe handles her. Thea hits a corner splash then a flipping neckbreaker. Thea then hits an extremely safe snapmare driver to win, basically just banging her head on the mat.

It really wasn't anything special. Jakara didn't have any big highlights here and showed some signs of maybe not being the most coordinated. There wasn't a lot to this either.

Trick Williams vs Brooks Jensen

They lock up and Trick is pulled down, then Brooks is pulled down. They yell at each other then Brooks facebusters and armdrags him. Brooks flying headscissors him and dropkicks him. Brooks slides out for his punch but Trick traps him under the ring skirt and stomps him.

Back in and Trick hits some shots and stomps him down in the corner. Trick hits a nice flying clothesline for 2. Trick slams and elbow drops him for 2. Trick cravates him and gets something like an atomic drop. Brooks powerslams him. Brooks hits some shots and spinning heel kicks him. Brooks slides out to the side this time to do his punch and comes off the top but flies into a fist. Trick hits a Mcgillicutter for 2. Brooks rolls him up then hits a fameasser to win it.

I was really surprised they had Brooks kick out of the Mcgillicutter. The match wasn't bad for what it was. Trick looked okay here and Brooks did an okay job. Nothing wrong with it, just nothing particularly memorable.

Overall thoughts: This was nothing must see with 3 average matches.

WWE NXT 10/25/2022

WWE NXT 10/25/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-10182022.html

NXT Women's Tag Titles - Katana Chance and Kayden Carter (c) vs Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark

Carter rolls out of a wristlock and kicks Lyons' leg to make her split. Zoey lariats Carter. Zoe misses a kick then takes an upkick for it then Chance slingshot sentons her. Chance headscissors Zoey but Zoey flips and lands on her feet out of it. Chance and Carter do a silly string and Chance headscissors Zoey off of it.

Lyons punches Kacy then Kacy gets out and makes a tag. Lyons and Carter trade kick attempts and Lyons ankle locks her. Kacy gets on Lyons' shoulders and rolls her into a pin attempt for 2. She shotgun dropkicks her then Lyons takes a double dropkick out. Zoey is thrown out with her then both Zoey and Lyons catch dives and slam their opponents on the floor off of it.

We go to PiP break and return. Chance takes a swinging slam then Carter dropkicks Zoey into Lyons and hits both in the corner. Carter then dropkicks Lyons and lands on Zoey with a splash. Carter flips Chance onto an opponent. Chance is alley oop'd into the buckles then is reverse slammed by Zoey. Chance rolls up another reverse slam into a pin attempt. Carter takes Zoey over the top, but she skins the cat and is back in. She then rolls up Chance off a missed kick and wins it.

Or did they? another ref comes in and says there was an unseen tag and the match isn't over. All 4 girls fight and Chance plancha's Lyons on the outside. Chance top rope spanish flies Zoey and gets 2. Zoey germans Chance. Lyons spin kicks Carter in the face then does a jumping split ofr 2. Chance hurricanrana's Zoey over the top. Carter hits superkicks on Lyons then they do their 450 + neckbreaker combo and Chance picks up the win.

Athletically, it was pretty good with them performing much better than the women usually do. I didn't like the kick out of the spanish fly. I was fine with the false finish here as Lyons and Zoey needed some credibility, and them getting their win overturned was a way to do it. I did not think Chance and Carter should have lost here.

Ilja Dragunov talks about the 3 way at Halloween Havoc and says JD McDonagh needs removed again like he removed him from NXT UK.

We get a quick video with T-Bar burning his mask and saying it's not about retribution, but justice.

Wes Lee comes out to talk. He said he never expected to be in WWE or be a champ. He said he is grateful to be in a place where he is loved and thanks the fans for chanting "you deserve it" while he was on top of the ladder.

Grayson Waller comes out. He said he hates Halloween and Wes says he can't rain on his parade because he lost his match. He said he technically won. Waller says congrats on winning the ladder match, as he climbed a ladder at Heom Depot. He says he is up 1-0 on Apollo Crews. R-Truth comes out. He welcomes everyone to Halloween Havoc and asks if they are ready for the psookiest night of the year. Waller interrupts and Truth says he has a British accent. Truth then does the accent and Waller says he's Australian. The crowd chants, "no, he's not". Waller explains Halloween Havoc was 3 days ago and Truth says he is trying to okey-doke him. Wes confirms it already happened and Truth congrats Wes on winning the N-A Title.  Truth asks Waller how he did and Truth finds out Waller lost. Truth says he would be scared of being put in the casket. They argue more, Waller goes to hit Truth and gets hit and thrown out. Wes and Truth then celebrate.

Blade and Enofe are in the locker room. Blade is nervous. Enofe says they have more than a shot at the tag titles tonight. Enofe tries to hype him up and it works with Blade saying let's win the tag titles.

Apollo Crews does a promo. He says Waller is Truth's problem now. He says his focus is to become NXT champ. He said he wants to hear what Bron Breakker has to say next week.

Quincy Elliot brings out Shotzi.

Lash Legend vs Shotzi

No entrance for Lash. Lash hits knees to the gut and throws her by the hair. Lash throws her over the top and Shotzi dropkicks her in the knee. She tries to trip her but is just kicked then Shotzi chokes Lash with her legs over the top rope. Lash pump kicks her off the apron. Quinc distracts Lash outside then Shotzi goes out to fight with her. Lash slams Shotzi on the inside then Lash stretch mufflers her. Shotzi does a ddt variation on her and wins it.

It was short and not particularly special.

Brutus Creed gets hyped in the back for his 5 minutes with Damon Kemp.

The Creeds come out. He shows that his hands are bloody from beating up Damon Kemp. He says the pain is nothing though if he had costed Brutus his career. Brutus thanks him for svaing his career and then calls out Damon Kemp for his 5 minute beating.

Damon Kemp appears on the tron. He says he's not medically cleared but says he has 5 minutes that are waiting for him. Brutus says every day he has to wait, the whooping will get worse. Sanga and Veer then come in and jump The Creed's. Sanga hesitates and Veer nails Julius. Sanga then pounds on Burtus and chokeslams him.

Ivy Niles stares at them as they are leaving and yells, "why?".

WWE NXT Tag Titles - Pretty Deadly (c) vs Malik Blade and Edris Enofe

I lost my review of this, but it was a pretty good one. The action was fast paced and both teams had one of their best matches yet. These guys worked really well together and I'd love to see them do it again.

JD McDonagh does a video promo about Ilja Dragunov. He calls himself a necessary evil and and says he wants to make Ilja damaged beyond repair tonight. During his promo, the lights went red on his face and there was a Darth Vader voice as he said some things.

Zoey Stark is interviewed. she said she had the tag titles in the palm of her hand and then they were taken away. She says Carter and Chance are the luckiest women in WWE. Nikkita Lyons walks in and blames herself. Zoey said they have a rematch and will win the belts when they get that match.

The Schism come out wearing yellow masks with glow in the dark writing on them and a platform.
Gacy says togetherness is the greatest accomplishment. He says to remove your mask and join The Schism or be torn down. Rip says NXT is a den of selfishness and greed. Rip says all hope will dry out. Jagger has his beard back and says love brings love while anger devices. He says The Schism only builds stronger together as a unit. Gacy says it's time for the person in the red hoodie to reveal their true self, but says there is no going back. The mask comes off and the crowd yells for Ava Raine, and it turns out to be here. She's The Rock's daughter and had done some house shows. She says Schism is her family and completes her and introduces herself. They all hug and Gacy says 4 roots, 1 tree. they then all hold up peace signs.

I don't like Ava not using The Rock's last name. That's why she is signed and that's why people are interested in her. It makes little sense not to use it.

Sol Ruca is interviewed. She says she is nervous but excited for tonight. She says Indi Hartwell is a bad@ss competitor then Indi walks in. Indi says her doing tricks will only take her so far and it is all about winning.

We get played a call from the WWE Performance Center. It says to let go of all of your pain and to listen with your eyes and speak with your ears. It says to awake from the dark and says this is just the start. It says it plans to rip all of NXT apart and says, "Sincerely, Scripts".

Indi Hartwell vs Sol Ruca

Sol does her usual handstand in and is slammed as soon as it starts. Indi slams her again and kicks her then Sol does a nice kip down and kip up into a slam on Indi. Sol does a forward cartwheel but Indi moves then Indi lariats her. Indi hits some short arm clotheslines then forearms her in the back of the head and wins it.

This was very short and the ending was pretty lame. It seems like they are turning Indi heel here which I don't like since the audience really supports her.

Elektra Lopez attacks Indi after, though they called her Alexa Lopez. She throws Indi into the post then does a driver on Sol. Lopez then kicks Sol in the ribs and says he is back.

We go to Chase U. Bodhi is not there then Duke walks in. Duke says he was looking for Bodhi. Chase says he is disappointed in Bodhi. Duke gives Chase an apple then takes Bodhi's seat. Chase says November is a historic month for the world and wrestling. Duke gives Thea a pen then says he doesn't need to write, he knows everything. Chase yells at him for this and tells him to take some notes. Duke apologizes and takes someone else's pen.

We see a countdown clock and it is for NXT DeadL1ne without any more details as to what that is.

Roxanne Perez does a promo on Cora Jade. She said she doesn't like the person she became and she said she isn't sorry for what she did. She said Cora was afraid of her potential.

Blade and Enofe leave the arena and Odyssey Jones drives in with a truck full or girls. He says we will go out and have the time of our lives and says to forget about the match. He says they can return next week and Enofe jumps in. Blade is pulled in. This is the return of Jones, who has been out for nearly a year.

Next week has a 1 year celebration for Mandy Rose's title reign, Bron Breakker, R-Truth vs Grayson Waller and more.

Ilja Dragunov vs JD McDonagh

JD poses on the top and is thrown off. Drag germans him twice then lifts him from between the legs for a suplex. JD hits chops on Drag then Drag jumping front kicks him in the head. JD hits back elbows on Drag and knees him in the gut. Drag slams JD and JD tries to suplex him to the outside from the apron. Drag is bumped off the apron into the commentary table (which is now in the usual WWE place instead of on the side).

Drag holds his elbow/arm and the ref calls the trainers out. We go to break and return with JD in control. JD drops him body first on the top rope and he flips forward from it. They trade forearms and Drag hits spinning chops. JD hits a punch then Drag saves himself from falling and enzugiri's him. Drag jumping knees JD then kneedrops him from the 2nd rope. Drag goes for a 2nd rope senton but JD gets his knees up. They fight up top and Drag top rope superplexes him. Drag falling forearms him.

Drag charges at him and is caught with a grounded cobra twist. Drag passes out due to the pain and blood is all over Drag's face.

This was short but it made sense and was good for what it was. The ending helped JD after taking some losses recently and it's cool to see them following up on their NXT UK feud. Drag is stretchered out after.

Overall thoughts: Pretty good episode overall with the two tag matches being good plus some returns and debuts.

WWE NXT Level Up 10/21/2022

WWE NXT Level Up 10/21/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-level-up-10142022.html

Myles Borne vs Ikemen Jiro

Jiro cartwheels to start. MB shoulders him over and Jiro kips up twice. MB headlock takeovers him and they have a stand off. Jiro cravate snapmares him then MB does the same and dropkicks him. MB goes for a leapfrog and holds his knee then Jiro works the knee. Jiro puts his knee in a hold and MB continues to hold his knee. Jiro single leg crabs him.

MB belly to belly suplexes him then holds on for another. MB backdrops him. Jiro spinning jacket punches him and misses a step up enzugiri. MB rolls him up and wins it.

Odd one here. They tried to tell a story with MB's injured knee and I think they had some room for improvement. Borne was good as usual at hitting the moves but I had higher hopes for this.

They shake hands after.

Javier Bernal is interviewed and wants to be called Big Body Javi. He talks about Andre Chase. He said he didn't go to his school and said he got his big body by putting up big numbers in the weight room, not by going to his school. JB says Chase will learn that while he is fun and games with the ladies, he is all business in the ring.

Duke Hudson vs Bryson Montana

BM knees him in the gut and works a guillotine early. Duke hits some forearms then running back elbows him. Duke hits acrossface then neck cranks him. Duke hits some back elbows and short arm lariats him. Duke poses and is hit in the gut for it then BM lariats him with some force. BM bangs Duke's head off the buckle and hits corner shots.

Duke jumps into a michinoku driver for 2. Duke rolls out and gets him from the outside then does a slingshot into a german in. Duke running facekicks him and wins it.

This was not good at all. Almost everything they did looked awful and Bryson's strikes were really bad.

Javier Bernal vs Andre Chase

Chase armdrags him early. JB takes him down then walks on his back. He taunts him and rolls out to argue with Thea Hail outside. Chase takes JB down and walks his back then backs him up in the corner. Chase hits a shoulder then hiptosses him. Chase hits corner punches and a back body drop.

Chase gets pulled out then knee'd over the middle rope. JB then neckbreakers him over the 2nd rope. JB unleashes shots on him and works him over with shots in the corner.  Chase kneelifts and 2nd rope sunset flips JB. JB crisscross bulldogs him then sliding lariats him for 2. JB hits kicks on Chase and gets his leg caught. Chase hits chops then suplexes him.

Chase hits an atomic drop then pulls him into a russian legsweep. Chase hits the C-H-A-S-E-U stomp. Chase top rope crossbodies him and wins it.

It really wasn't a bad match at all with JB heeling it up then Chase making the big face comeback.

Overall thoughts: It's Level Up. The matches are short without any build and it's rarely ever must see. The main was decent but the rest wasn't worthwhile with Duke/Bryson being bad.

WWE NXT 10/18/2022

WWE NXT 10/18/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-10112022.html

Pick Your Poison Match - Rhea Ripley vs Roxanne Perez

Perez is thrown out early then she grabs a wristlock and kicks Rhea. Perez rolls through a clothesline then spinning headscissors her. They trade chest slaps then Rhea hits some strikes and a lariat. Perez tries to fight back then takes a kick to the gut. Perez hurricanrana's Rhea out and Rhea walks away on her dive attempt.

Perez slides out then tries to hurricanrana her off the apron but it slammed head first on the apron. We go to PiP break where Rhea hits a nice dropkick. We return and Perez avoids some stomps and kicks her in the leg. They botch something then Rhea spears the post. Perez then topes her.

They fight up top and Perez slips out. Perez 2nd rope hurricanrana's her. Perez is slammed body first on the mat. Dominic Mysterio distracts the ref then Perez takes a chest headbutt and a pumphandle slam for the Rhea win.

It had it's usual diva sloppy moments but Perez was good here as an underdog face. It really wasn't bad at all.

Grimes, Doc and Anderson are in the back. Grimes says he has the hottest tag team in the business with him. Doc asks why he thinks they accepted his offer and Grimes shows his money and says it's because of the paper. Karl then says it's because they want to go to the moon.

Grayson Waller is interviewed. McKenzie says Waller seems off. Waller says he has already beaten Crews and Waller says he blinded Crews with his star power. Waller says Saturday caps off the worst comeback story ever then Chucky the doll appears on the screen. Chucky says Waller's match will be a spin the wheel, make the deal match. Chucky tells him not to fear the wheel, it's his friend til the end, if he makes it.

Stacks vs Shinsuke Nakamura

Tony D says he can tell Stacks is ready to go and asks him to help him in the ring. He said he will announce who his opponent is after the break. Shinsuke Nakamura is brought out as his opponent, which I didn't expect.

Stacks hits some punches and a side headlock early. Nak hits a knee to the gut then axe kicks. The crowd sings his theme song then Nak jumping knees him. Nak gordbusters him and hiss knees to the body. Stacks hits some euros and forearms then a fist drop for 2. Nak hits a nice flying kick. Nak hits more kicks and an enzugiri.

Nak sliding germans him then flying armbars him. Stacks euros him. Nak kicks him in the face and Stacks falls out of the ring. Nak motions at Tony D and Stacks tells him to bring it. Nakamura running knees him and gets the win.

It was mostly a squash as expected but Stacks took a great bump to the floor and put up a decent little fight before being beaten. The crowd was real into Nakamura here.

Tony D says Stacks showed guts he didn't know he had and said he was proud of him.

Axiom and Nathan Frazer talk in the back about their match. They say they brought the best out of each other and Ax said he is cheering for him to win the N-A title ladder match. Mr. Stone and Von Wagner walk in. He said they made history but Von says their classics amount to nothing because they don't get titles for it. Von calls Frazer soccer boy and Frazer says he will smash his face with a ladder.

Alba Fyre vs Sonya Deville

They shove each other and Alba headbutts her chest. Alba running forearms her and is pulled off the 2nd rope. Sonya pump kicks her then Alba hits chops. Alba gordbusters her and Toxic Attraction get in the ring. Sonya accidentally facekicks Gigi then Alba rolls her up to win. This was real quick.

T-A and Sonya beat up Alba after then Mandy Rose comes out. Mandy tells her she made the wrong decision of abducting her and Mandy says she will fight fire with fire. Alba escapes the 1v3 and hits T-A with her bat. She puts the bat up against Mandy and Mandy leaves.

ORo Mensah and Wes Lee talk in the back. They get jumped by Trick and Melo and fight. They head out to the entrance area and the refs break it up.

Oro Mensah and Wes Lee vs Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams

We were told this began during the break. Wes headlocks Trick and Trick pops him up into a punch. Oro and Melo get in and Oro springboard dropkicks him. Oro headscissors him then axe kicks him with Melo doing a nice bump on his head. Oro goes to springboard but Trick trips him on the ropes. Oro flip kicks Trick then Wes flurries on Melo. Wes bulldogs Melo.

Trick throws Wes off the top then Oro kicks Trick on the apron. Oro jumps off the steps onto Trick and pounds him. Melo jumping codebreakers Wes then hits his top rope legdrop to Wes' neck to win it.

This was a real short one but it was action packed.

Trick and Melo beat up Oro after then Oro and Wes fight them off. Trick is double clotheslines out. Wes and Oro go over the top with him then Melo flips on Wes and Oro. Von Wagner comes out, face kicks Melo then Frazer top rope crossbodies Von.

We go to the Schism in the back. Gacy accuses Grimes of hyprocrisy for joining the OC. He says it will be no use though as The Schism will tear Grimes down.

Bron Breakker is interviewed. He said Ilja started things with him and he'll finish it. Bron says he can go around Ilja and JD or through them and he wants to go through them. Bron says he looked up to Kevin Owens and said there is always something good going on at his show. He will be on his show tonight with Ilja and JD.

Cameron Grimes and The OC vs The Schism

Grimes is wearing matching red and black with them. Grimes trips Jagger then shoulders, knees and baseball slides him. Grimes kick combos Rip in the corner then Rip lariats him after Jagger helps him in the corner. Grimes is stomped 2v1 and Grimes eventually hurricanrana's both.  Karl back elbows Rip then Gallows beas up Rip in the corner.

Gallows short arm lariats Rip then elbow drops him. Rip hits Karl in the back with a knee then Karl takes a nice bump out. Jadder pounds on Karl outside. Jagger comes over the top and drops an elbow on Karl while he is in Rip's backbreaker. The Schism them hug. Jagger hits punches on Karl and they trade forearms. Karl running euros him then Grimes top rope crossbodies him.

Gacy and Jagger get sent over the top and we go to PiP break. We return from break and see Grimes being swung into a powerbomb. Gacy pounds on Grimes. Grimes crossbodies him then Gacy hits corner lariats on him. Gacy takes a standing spanish fly. Gallows gets the hot tag in and lariats everyone then flying shoulders Rip. Gallows does a reverse full nelson bomb on Rip then everyone starts getting moves in. Jagger step up enzugiri's Karl then Grimes M. Bison stomps Rip. Karl spinebusters Jagger then Jagger is hit with a magic killer. Doc thne picks up the win.

Not a classic or anything, but it was a decent 6-man tag.

The OC wants the money from Grimes after.

Veer is interviewed after. He said we won't get any info on what he said to Sanga. Sanga then walks in and says he is ready.

We get a video on Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons. We see them sign contracts for the match together. Zoey said they will prove that they are an actual tag team. Kayden said they will learn what it is like to think they can win and they can't. Nikkita says the better team will win and Chance says it's them.

Julius Creed and Damon Kemp do a split screen interview. Julius says he's nervous and says his parents told him his nerves can be used for good. Creed calls Kemp a clown. Kemp says there are two sides to Creed and says he is an arrogant loser on a side you don't see. Creed says Kemp is a clout chaser who doesn't want to do the work. They talk about using weapons on each other in the amublance match and Creed says he won more amateur matches in a month than Kemp did in his career. Creed tells him he isn't the best wrestler in his own family. Kemp says he knew all along he was better than him and says he will prove it when he puts him in the ambulance. Creed says there will be no remorse or sympathy and this isn't a match, but it's a fight. Kemp says Brutus will need a job after he beats him as Creed will have to retire if Julius loses.

We are told Shotzi is the guest h ost at Halloween Havoc, then she comes out in her tank. Shotzi said we need to go more balls to the wall and said her and she will make this years Halloween Havoc, the most terrifying extravaganza in NXT history. Xyon Quinn comes out. He wants to be a co-host. Quincy Elliot then comes out and says he wants to be co-host. Shotzi said since they are going to have a match right now anyway, they should make it for co-host privileges.

Winner gets to be co-host at Halloween Havoc - Quincy Elliot vs Xyon Quinn

Xyon is backdropped and lariated out. We go to PiP break and return with Xyon hitting a big lariat. Shotzi is on commentary then Xyon puts Quincy in the cobra clutch. quincy fights back with punches and takes a boot in the corner. Xyon puts Quincy on his shoulders but collapses. Quincy misses a splash. Xyon goes to get a weapon then Hank Walker is there and stops him. Quincy splashes Xyon when he gets in then banzai drops him for the win.

This was short and mostly cut off by the break. The winner here was no surprise.

We go to Chase U. Thea Hail wants another match with Kiana James and is going crazy. Chase tells us the history of Halloween Havoc and even goes into the Yeti and the Chamber of Horros match, which he says we will skip. Chucky appears on the screen and tells them their homework is to watch Havoc. Bodhi goes after Chucky and Chucky threatens him then says "that is a teachable moment", Thea then yells, "what the ****" in a fun segment.

We see Malik Blade/Edris Enofe and Pretty Deadly sign their contrats for the tag titles in the back. Blade says they will shock the world and Enofe says they will be the next NXT tag champs.

Pick Your Poison Match - Raquel Rodriguez vs Cora Jade

Cora lays on the top rope to start. They kick each other and Cora goes down. Cora is then thrown into the buckles chest first. RR hits snake eyes on Cora then chops her outside. RR then chops the table when Cora moves. Cora pounds on RR. Cora gets a stick and RR blocks the shot then nails her with it. The ref immediately DQ's her. Cora laughs after as she got out of the match.

Perez hits Cora from behind after and throws her in the ring. Perez superkicks her then RR gives her the stick. Perez swings it at Cora but Cora escapes.

We see a poker game in the back and Jensen tells everyone the KO show is coming on. Briggs and Henley argue with them over drinking games then Sol handstand walks in. Briggs tells Jiro to drink when something stupid happens and everyone gets hyped up.

The KO Show with Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh

Kevin Owens said Shawn Michaels asked him to do this and he couldn't say no. OWens backs away from JD and JD says Owens will call him champ in a few days. Jd says he has been on his best behavior and said he didn't lay out Bron, that was Ilja. JD said he didn't spear Ilja, Bron did. JD said he doesn't care about being the toughest in NXT, he wants the NXT title. Ilja says hitting Bron was not a mistake been though he didn't aim for him. Ilja says he will prove the NXT title should have been his in the first place.

Bron says Ilja is the czar and only his spear could put him down. Bron says it sucks he had to reliquinish his title and knows he wants it back. He says that's too bad and if he wants a friend, get a dog. Owens says JD is trying to get them to tear each other apart and says he can't let that happen. He says no one wants JD as NXT champ. He says JD's mom doesn't want him as champ and is creeped out by him. JD says he doesn't care and says he has spent every second since being run off from NXT UK by Ilja thinking of ways to torture him. He says taking the NXT title will be something Ilja never recovers from. Kevin calls him creepy. Ilja says JD will always be a contender but never a champ. Bron says he will put Ilja in the same category as him. Ilja says Bron lost his title the last time he was in a triple threat then tells him to put him in that category right now.

They get up and move the chairs. Kevin exits the ring and tells them to fight. Bron and Ilja fight as JD laughs. Bron beats up security and spears Tank Ledger. Ilja spears Bron then Ilja headbutts JD. Ilja flying headbutts JD and holds the title up.

Austin Theory comes out with his MITB briefcase and they tease he could cash in.

The ending segment was really good and helped out a feud that wasn't going that great.

Overall thoughts: A different show than usual with lots of main roster people on it. It was a decent show with some fun segments but some of the matches were too shot.

WWE NXT Level Up 10/14/2022

WWE NXT Level Up 10/14/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-level-up-1072022.html

I'm really sorry for the delays on these. Fridays at 10PM is a bad time for me.

Tank Ledger and Ikemen Jiro vs Bryson Montana and Duke Hudson

This is Tank's debut. Him and Jiro are wearing hats and posing together. Tank has a leather vest on and points with two fingers. Duke and BM also posed together. Yes, Tank's last name sucks.

Jiro is thrown back on a lock up. Jiro headlocks Duke and is shouldered over hard. Duke side headlocks Tank and they shoulder battle. Duke knees him in the gut. BM gets in and Tank corner splashes him. Tank hits a big slam. Jiro gets in and kicks BM's leg then BM takes a double back elbow.

Tank and Jiro double splash BM. BM neckbreakers Tank after Duke distracts. BM holds up Tank for Duke's kicks to the gut and Tank fights off a 1v2. Tank backdrops BM and tags out. Jiro gets a hot tag in and hits BM and Duke with jacket punches. Jiro slingshot sitdown moonsaults BM then step up enzugiri's BM for the win.

The match was okay. Tank did well in his debut. He's not tanky at all, but he gets what he is doing and already looks like he has been wrestling for a few years. He also clearly has personality and charisma and I really like his chances of succeeding.

Myles Borne is interviewed. He said Raaj pushed him to the very end last time and he dreamed to get that first win. He thanks the WWE fans for supporting him. He says he looks up to Chen and wants to win, but he has to fight one step at a time. He says he wants to pick up the victory here so he can get on NXT, Raw and SD.

Myles Borne vs Dante Chen

Chen has a new pose. Borne had a weird entrance here. It seemed like the music didn't start until he was half out there.

Borne takes him down and rolls him on the mat. Chen goes up and over in the corner and armdrags him. Chen runs at him from behind and Borne blind backflips over him. Borne then firemans carries him and hits a nice dropkick. Chen goes for a hiptoss but is rolled up then Chen works his arms on the mat. Borne armdrags him then Chen pump kicks him in the side of the face.

Borne hiptosses him and hits a nice belly to belly. He rolls over him then hits another nice dropkick. Borne lifts him up for a high double hunderhook ddt and on the landing, he puts his arm in the way for the drop and Chen lands face first. I don't think that one will stick.

Borne was good as usual. He's above these short matches at this point and seems ready enough for NXT. He's good in the ring and he has a good look, but he doesn't have much personality yet and I don't know if his physical limitations are part of that or not.

Ivy Nile vs Lash Legend

Lash grabs her by the hair and knees her. Lash corner splashes her then Ivy tries to sunset flip her but is blocked. Lash then picks her up by the head and spins her into a drop. Lash cravates her then Ivy rolling armbars her into a pin attempt. Ivy hits a crossbody and Lash blocks her armdrag and clubs her.

Lash butterfly suplexes her for 2. Lash pulls her arm against and over the ropes. Lash pounds and stomps onn her then Ivy ties up her legs and rolls her up for 2. Lash misses a pump kick then lariats her. Lash bangs Ivy's head off the mat. Lash misses an elbow and Ivy shoulders her over. Ivy hits kicks and an enzugiri then hits her jumping kick. Ivy then suplexes her. Lash has her in a reverse ddt then Ivy flips backwards and dragon sleepers her to win.

It was one of Lash's better efforts and I think it says a lot of Ivy to be able to make that happen.

Overall thoughts: It's Level Up. It's a short show with little happening and that's what this mostly was. Tank Ledger did well in his debut and Myles Borne continues to impress.

AEW Dynamite 10/12/2022

AEW Dynamite 10/12/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/aew-dynamite-1052022.html

Renee Paquette comes out. She just signed with AEW this week and used to be Renee Young in the WWE. She's okay at what she does, but I hope they didn't pay much for her as I don't think she's a draw or that special. Renee interviews Christian. Christian says it is great to be back in Toronto. He insults the local sports team and brings out Luchasaurus.

Luchasaurus vs Jungle Boy

JB running shotgun dropkicks Lucha then pounds on him in the corner. JB dropkicks him in the back then JB takes a stiff wheelbarrow german. Lucha chops JB on the top rope and he rolls to the floor. Lucha sets up a table outside and pushes JB's back into the post. Lucha accidentally chops the post then JB pulls his arm around the post. Lucha throws JB's back into the apron and rails. He really throws him into one rail and JB flips into it and lands on his head on the cement. JB is then backdropped on the apron from the floor.

We go to PiP break and Lucha spears the ringpost on accident. JB topes Lucha but is caught and ends up sending Lucha into the post. They fight on the apron and Lucha takes a superkick. JB sunset bombs Lucha through the table from the apron. Christian says this should be a DQ. Christian distracts JB then Lucha pops up in the ring. JB hits superkicks on Lucha then is popped up and thrown down. JB then is flipped on a lariat.

Lucha does a running reverse F-U on JB. They go up top. JB tries to baseball slide him in the tree of woe but Lucha headscissors him. Lucha then buckle bombs him and chokeslams him for 2. JB crucifix bombs Lucha for 2 then poisonrana's him. JB then hits a killswitch only for 2. Lucha flips JB off the top with a chokeslam then does a burning hammer for the win.

They did too much here and it went longer than it needed to. I had a hard time buying JB being able to really hurt Lucha due to the size differences.

The Firm is celebrating in the back. Private Party and Matt Hardy walk in. Stokeley says PP wanted out of their contracts, so he did that for them and now their contracts belong to Stokeley. Matt says they should fight in a match for the contracts tonight to Ethan Page. Page accepts the idea and says Isaiah Kassidy has to beat him to be freed. Page then says if he wins, The Firm then owns Matt Hardy's contract too. I'm not a big fan of this storyline since we've already done the Matt Hardy and Private Party thing. It didn't get over the first time and them with him again a second time won't help much nor will them in The Firm.

Samoa Joe and Wardlow vs The Factory (QT Marshall and Nick Comorto)

They fight to start and Wardlow/Nick go outside. Joe sentons QT then hits a punch combo in the corner. Wardlow beats up on QT then hits a big lariat. Nick hits corner spears on QT then Wardlow spinebusters Nick. Wardlow hits a top rope swanton on Nick then Joe chokes out Nick to win. QT takes Wardlow's powerbombs after.

This was short and I didn't like Nick Comoroto doing the job here or being beaten so easy.

Prince Nana and the Embassy come out. Nana says he is tired of Wardlow and Joe getting into their business. Cage says nobody wants to see Wardlow powerbomb QT. Cage said Wardlow got involved in their business when they were going to beat up FTR last week. FTR then come out.

FTR says there's 3 of the Embassy and they have the perfect partner for them on Rampage. They say Rampage starts at 10, so they bring out Shawn Spears, oh joy. Spears throws Solow in the ring then FTR hit Solow with a big rig.

The JAS is interviewed. Parker calls Danielson a piece of garbage and said he made this personal by trying to poach Garcia. He said he broke up their happy family. Jericho said Danielson forced Jericho to hurt Garcia then says he will outwrestle Danielson tonight.

Billy Gunn vs Swerve Strickland

Billy hits a punch early and bangs his head off the buckles. Billy shoulders him over and teases pulling down his trunks. Swerve comes off the bottom rope with a dropkick to the knee. We go to PiP break and return. Swerve pushes Billy out then goes over the top and drops a knee on him.

Billy tilt-a-whirl slams Swerve then hits lariats. Billy jackhammers Swerve. Swerve cranks the knee from underneath and rolls into a flatliner. Swerve top rope double stomps Billy for 2. Swerve rolls Billy near the ropes and despite both guys having their hands on the ropes, the ref counts for the pin for Swerve.

I didn't think this was anything special. I didn't think the knee work was that great.

The Acclaimed come down and are mad. Mark Sterling comes down with Tony Nese. Mark says he now owns the trademark, "scissor me" and says they can't do it anymore. Mark then scissors Nese. I'm not a fan of that at all as it just seems dumb and Mark Sterling feuds are not doing anything for anyone.

MJF is interviewed. Stokeley comes in and talks about taking out Wheeler Yuta last week. MJf isn't happy about it and says this is strike #2 for him. He says if he screws up again, he is fired and tells him to take his Carlton Banks looking self out. MJF talks about William Regal. He said he wasn't sure if he would shake Wheeler Yuta's hand and said he learned the hard way that nice guys finish last. MJF says he has no choice but to be the bad guy. He said he doesn't care if people don't like him because he doesn't like him either when he's out there. He says he will become champion and says he is a generational talent.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and brings out Jon Moxley. Mox says being champ isn't easy. He says it's a dirty job and you have to be ruthless. He calls out Adam Page. Page comes out with some goofy looking jeans with tassles and stars. Page says he doesn't like Mox calling him a "nice kid". Mox says he doesn't think Page has the guts to take him out next week. Page says he is left with nothing and angry. Page talks about the things he has been through and says he keeps coming back. Page says he will beat up Mox within an inch of his life to take the title back. Page says he will be the next AEW champ. Page then walks off. There was some good stuff here from Page, but also some weak stuff with him saying he was on medicine and can't sleep at night.

We get a quick video on Jericho vs Danielson.

ROH World Title - Chris Jericho (c) vs Bryan Danielson

Bryan kicks Jericho's hand away on the handshake and rolls him up. They trade chops for euro uppercuts. Jericho is caught on a dropkick and catapulted over the top. Bryan then topes Jericho. Bryan hits corner punches and kicks on Jericho. Jericho then hits corner punches on him. Jericho then top rope hurricanrana's him. We go to PiP break and return to Jericho ddt'ing Danielson. He dropkicks him off the apron then springboard plancha's him on the outside.

They fight up top again and Bryan top rope butterfly suplexes him. Bryan crossfaces him then Jericho boston crabs him. Bryan gets out and hits mounted punches then boston crabs him. Jericho rolls up Bryan then takes a high kick. Bryan hits elbows on Jericho then is F-U'd. Jericho misses a lionsault then takes a top rope knee, twice. Bryan takes a codebreaker and is pushed into the ref. They clothesline each other and go down.

The ROH title is put in the ring by Menard and Daniel Garcia comes out and stops Jericho from using it. Garcia and Jericho push each other and Bryan busaiku knees Jericho. Garcia hits Bryan with the title belt. Jerciho then picks up the win.

Dirty finishes aren't that fun but there was a story involved in it, so that works. It wasn't a classic or anything too special, but it was decent.

The Blackpool Combat Club comes down as the JAS celebrates but nothing happens.

Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida vs Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter

Jamie pushes Shida then Shida pushes her over. Britt and Jamie are wearing matching gear. Shida dropkicks Jamie and Storm clubs on Jamie. Storm running facekicks her and Britt grabs Storm's leg from the outside. Jamie then nails Storm with a big boot and pounds on her.

We go to PiP break and return. Shida and Britt are going at it and Shida hits her with a forearm flurry. Shida jumping knees her then hits rapid corner punches. Jamie tries to stop it and is superplexed in from the 2nd outside rope. Shida suplexes Britt on Jamie then 2nd rope meteora's Britt. Everyone gets a move in and Shida takes double superkicks, then a lariat and a curbstomp for 2. Storm tornado ddt's Britt the Shida sliding forearms Britt. Storm short piledrivers Britt.

Shida walks up the buckles and does a triangle enzugiri on Britt then Jamie is DDT'd on the floor. Britt goes for lockjaw on Shida and they roll each other up. Shida eventually pins her in a surprising finish.

This was fast paced and action packed. It was one of the better efforts the women have put out there.

Butcher and Blade are interviewed. They are mad at CC making Rush look bad by beating up PP last week. They yell at CC and Mox to fight them and they will, on Rampage.

AEW All-Atlantic Title - Pac (c) vs Orange Cassidy

OC rushes at Pac and is kicked then Pac flying boots the side of his head. OC hits forearms and Pac puts OC's hands in his pockets. Pac then does OC's slow kick routine to the legs and OC dropkicks him before he can finish. OC topes him, gets caught and is falcon arrow'd on the floor.

We go to a 3 minute PiP break and Pac apparently tombstoned OC on the ramp during it. OC rolls down the ramp to help get to the ring in a silly moment and Pac brutalizers him. OC hits the ropes. Pac goes outside to argue with the ref after trying to get a hammer then OC topes him then topes him into a ddt on the floor. OC hits a sick looking ddt on Pac and hits an orange punch for 2.

OC hits a beach break on Pac on the apron. Pac puts him in the brutalizer and OC ropebreaks then Pac goes out for the hammer. Danhausen takes off his hoodie out there and is where the hammer is. He tries to curse him and gets hit. Pac gets a hammer and OC running punches him. OC gets the hammer but is rolled up then OC hits an orange punch. OC hits another orange punch and wins it.

They did way too much here with multiple floor bumps and an apron ddt. OC didn't do his usual nonsense here which helped things out. If this means OC goes to Dark and Europe like Pac did when he won this title, I'm all for it.

OC got confetti and Best Friends celebrated with him after.

Overall thoughts: Look, I'm not a big AEW fan. I don't really try to hide that or pretend otherwise. They put out an effort here in their matches but they did do too much in most of them and we had a couple of dirty finishes.

AEW Rampage 10/8/2022

AEW Rampage 10/8/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/aew-rampage-9302022.html

Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) vs Rush and Private Party

The Firm is watching in the front row. CC takes down Quen to start and blocks his armdrag. Quen moonsaults onto him from the top then is popped up and dropkicks him out of it. CC hits a big euro on Quen then Quen takes a double big boot. Kass corkscrew kicks Yuta then Yuta octopus stretches him. Rush is tagged in and spits on Mox.

Rush and Mox trade forearms and Mox hits a stiff facekick. Rush gives it back then Mox germans him. We go to PiP break and return. PP hit two flip dives during the break including a 450 onto the ramp, which was dumb since it couldn't be seen well due to the commercial. Quen accidentally facekicks Rush then Mox picks up Quen for a suplex and releases him in mid-air. CC gets in and hits running euros on Kass then running facekicks him. CC goes for the giant swing on Kass but quen holds onto him. CC then falls over during a spot where Quen is on his back and he giant swings Kass at the same time.

Everyone gets a move in and Yuta top rope crossbodies Quen. Kass takes a tilt-a-whirl CC backbreaker then Yuta top rope frogsplashes Kass for 2. Mox topes Rush into the rails and PP hits the silly string on the stage. CC blocks the DDT at the end of it and throws up Kass for a nice pop-up euro. Yuta keylocks Quen and submits him to win.

The Yuta submission win didn't really fit this one. I thought PP doing their flips during the break was dumb but it was a short and decent opener with some highlights.

We get a video with Death Triangle and the Dark Order talking about their match tonight. 10 says he owes his career to Brodie Lee, who this match is in honor of since it's 2 years since his last match.

Varisty Blonds vs Tony Nese and Josh Woods

I didn't know the match line-up prior to this, and this would not have been my guess for the next match. BPJ and Nese chainwrestle then BPJ flips, cartwheels and kips up out of a wristlock. Griff is tripped and Nese running knees him. Nese pushes BPJ into the post outside then Griff takes an olympic slam + neckbreaker combo for the Nese and Woods win.

I was surprised by this one and this was a real burial for the Blonds. It was real short and there's a limit to how good those matches can be.

Mark Sterling said that match was real easy and said he trademarked the term Varsity in pro wrestling. He said Josh Woods and Nese will now be the "Varsity Athletes". Mark says the Blonds can't use that name again or he will sue. Mark says his groin was on fire due to The Acclaimed then The Accalimed come out. Max had a pretty good rap bringing up Draymond Green punching Jordan Poole then Th e Acclaimed head to the ring.

The Varsity thing is dumb but if it gives the Blonds a feud or something new to do, maybe it's okay.

We get a video of Eddie Kingston losing control and getting mad at the production.

Tay Melo and Anna Jay vs Skye Blue and Madison Rayne

MR fights off a 2v1 then Jay bangs MR's head off the mat.  Tay is tripped then Skye basement dropkicks her. Tay running kicks Skye in the gut then Tay trips Skye on the apron then pump kicks her. We go to PiP break then full break and return to Skye and Tay down.

MR hits some bad shots on Jay then misses a step up enzugiri on her. MR northern lights suplexes her for 2 and Skye top rope crossbodies Jay. Tay piledrives Skye then MR crucifix bombs Tay. Jay gori bombs MR and Jay blows a casadora on Skye. Jay chokes out Blue to win after a knee from Tay.

This was not good at all with multiple botches and sloppy work.

Dark Order and Death Triangle do split screen interviews. Silver says Brodie Lee was the man and responsible for getitng them signed. Alex says there's no better way to honor him then win the trios titles. Pac and Penta say they are the best trio and Fenix says nobody can stop them. Pac says he will remind them why they are trios champs.

AEW Trios Titles - Death Triangle vs The Dark Order

The trios titles are off to a lame start as expected and we are already getting Dark Order matches, so you know they are running low on teams.

Everyone fights to start then Reynolds and Silver tope Penta and Pac. Fenix hurricanrana's 10 then is caught on the 2nd try. Fenix is double hiptossed then slammed the other way then 10 dealy suplexes him. Alex drops an elbow on Rey then superkicks him. Penta is double tripped then double sliding dropkicked.

We go to PiP break and return. Fenix hits some kicks on Silver and Alex then Fenix armdrags 10 into a double stomp. Penta top rope crossbodies Alex and 10 then superkicks them. Penta firemans carries Silver into 10 then backcrackers Alex for 2. Pac spin kicks Alex in the gut then superkicks him. He then germans him for 2. Alex takes kicks from all 3 opponents then is triple basement dropkicked.

Fenix spinebusters Alex then Penta top rope dropkicks Alex near the crotch. Penta armbars Alex then chest chops him. Pac suplexes Silver on the floor. We go to PiP break again and Alex double stomps Pac's back as he is bent over. 10 lariats everyone when he gets in and blue thunders Penta. Fenix takes a spinebuster from him then 10 takes a triple superkick. Fenix is rolled onto 10 then Pac standing moonsaults 10 at the same time. 10 suplexes Fenix then Silver and Pac trade forearms.

Silver takes a rebound german from Pac then brainbusters him for 2. Fenix is lifted up and takes a pendulum bomb for 2. Fenix springboard hurricanrana's Alex off the top then Penta hits sling blades. Silver ducks one then Penta backcrackers him. Penta takes a german into a cutter then 10 spinning lariats Penta for 2.

Jose The Assistant comes out with Rush. Rush gets a hammer and gives it to Pac. Alex is hit with the hammer, Fenix springboard crossbodies 10 on the ramp and Pac wins it with the brutalizer on Alex.

This wasn't that great and the finish was lame with weapons usage.

Overall thoughts:
I liked the opener but nothing else. I don't recommend this one.

WWE NXT 10/11/2022

WWE NXT 10/11/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-1042022.html

Booker T is now on commentary as Wade Barrett was moved up to the main roster. I'm not a fan of the move.

Bron Breakker vs Javier Bernal

JD McDonagh comes out right after JB and puts his arm around him before going to commentary. Bron picks up and takes down JB a few times. Bron cartwheels out of a wristlock and does a fireman's carry takedown then lariats him. Bron hits a belly to belly then JD hits a stiff forearm and pounds his back. JB slaps him and pays for it then takes flying shoulders. JB jumps up and is spinebustered.

Bron throws him off the 2nd rope then does a gorilla press into a powerslam to win.

It was short and Bron got most of the offense in like he should have before winning.

JD gets in the ring after and goes face to face with Bron then Ilja Dragunov comes out. JD nails both and then Ilja flying battering rams Bron. JD walks off.

Alba Fyre does a promo on Toxic Attraction. She said she was serious about them. She said she is a fire keeper and won't back down against Gigi/Jacy and said where there's smoke, there's fire.

We get a quick video on Axiom vs Nathan Frazer. Nathan says its win or go home and Axiom says he gets to write the final chapter. Nathan says its the bigger matvch of their careers.

NXT North American Title Qualifier - Best of 3 Series - Match 3 - Nathan Frazer vs Axiom

Axiom takes him down and they chain wrestle. NF flips off the top over him and jumps up but is taken down by the legs. They try to dropkick each other at the same time then do a stand off after kip ups. They do another stand off after a missed enzugiri then do a test of strength. Ax goes up top as they hold each others arms then arm wringers him over the top. NF jumps up to the top, goes down then Axiom stops his top rope hurricanrana attempt. NF ends up splitlegged moonsaulting the top rope on that and we go to PiP break.

We return with Axiom in a boston crab. Ax slips out of it and makes a pin attempt out of it. NF tries to springboard off the 2nd rope but Ax slides through his legs and germans him. Ax then top rope crossbodies him for 2. Ax perfect plexes him for 2 then is dropkicked to the floor while on the buckles. NF flips off the apron to the floor and catches him with an elbow slice after landing.

Both beat the count in with Ax sliding in then NF springboard dropkicking him. NF goes for a pheonix splash but Ax triangles him. NF goes for a springboard and is enzugiri'd then Ax moonsaults off the top rope to him on the floor. Ax goes up top, NF runs up the buckles then superplexes him. NF goes for a suplex while still holding him but Ax gets on his back with a sleeper. They trade shots and Ax flagstands off the mat and bottom rope to upkick NF. They then double lariat each other.

They fight on their knees and both backslide each other on the mat. Ax superkicks and pumping knees him. NF reverses his superkick into a pin attempt and wins it.

There was little selling here as they did too much but it was an action packed match and I think it put over both guys. With NXT not really having so many big moves and highspots, this really stood out and helped both guys.

Ilja Dragunov is interviewed in the parking lot. He is quickly interruptd by Grayson Waller. GW said Ilja headbutted Bron because he wanted an edge for the PPV match, but GW doesn't need one. GW is asked about sunglasses he is wearing and says it is due to Apollo Crews making his eyes sensitive to light. I couldn't really catch what was said, but Ilja said he isn't leaving.

Valentina Feroz asks Sanga to be in her corner tonight. He agrees. Indi Hartwell walks in. She said the ring may be her jungle, but that's Indi's ring.

We get an Apollo Crews vignette. He says changing one detail can change everything around you. He said he waited two long months to finally fight Waller and sais we wil lsee what happens at Halloween Havoc. We then see clips of chains, chairs, a wheel with matches on it. and Chucky. Crews said he will force his prespective against Waller at Havoc and said he will meet him in the dark.

Valentina Feroz vs Indi Hartwell

Indi pushes her out early. She hits a knee to the gut and some slams for 2. Veer Mahan comes out and talks to Sanga, who is out there then both walk off. Feroz doesn't see any of this then Indi backbreakers her. Feroz gets on the 2nd rope and rolling armbars her from behind. Indi deadlifts her out of the keylock and slams her.

Feroz running knees her against the ropes then chinbreakers her. She sees that sanga is not there then Feroz meteora's her. She dropkicks her as she is down for 2. Indi suplexes her from the inside of the 2nd rope while she is on the apron and gets the win.

The stuff with Sanga/Feroz was interesting here and this really wasn't bad at all for Indi's usual efforts.

Pretty Deadly appear on the riser with a beer helmet, beer cooler and giant joke cowboy hat. They have "G" and "O" on their chests and say they are fantastic. They say they are here to watch 3 teams beat the crap out of each other to win the right to take them off. They say they will drink beer while they watch and then we see they have a grill. They then do a cheer that ends in "Go Pretty Deadly" and we see they have "P" and "D" on their backs.

Cora Jade is interviewed. She said she didn't decide yet on Roxanne Perez's opponent as she says it will be hard to narrow down who she wants to pick. Cora is told Roxanne will be on Smackdown on Firday and Cora says she has phone calls to make. She asks McKenzie if she has Ronda Rousey's number. McKenzie lies and says she doesn't.

#1 Contenders Tag Team Triple Threat - Malik Blade and Edris Enofe vs Briggs and Jensen vs The Dyad

Balde pounds on Rip early then swings wildly at Jensen. Jensen avoids a Dyad 1v2 then him and Briggs shoulder Dyad over. B&J then slide out of the ring and punch Blade on the ropes. Briggs picks up Jagger and bangs his face off the apron. Blade dropkicks Briggs off the apron then Jagger backbreakers Blade. Jagger jumps over the top and does a double team backbreaker on the floor on Blade. The Schism then hugs.

Rip backdrops Blade then Blade is hung over the top rope and takes a top rope double axe handler on the back. Rips is legswept then takes a knee to the face. Rip is then tripped into a facekick and flying shoulder. Enofe does a handstand then a capoeira twist down into a legdrop on Rip. Rip is thrown out then Briggs puts Enofe/Blade over the top. Briggs then throws Jagger over the top onto Enofe/Blade. Jensen goes up top and walks the ropes with help from Briggs then flip drives on all opponents outside. We go to break.

We return from break with Jagger and Rip in control. We get a tower of doom spot with Jensen powerbombing everyone. Briggs gets in and punches  people then shoulders Rip off the apron. He launches Blade into the ropes from the outside and hits an awesome lariat on his rebound. Briggs top rope lariats enofe then side slams and splashes Jagger. B&J hit corner lariats on opponents Then Jagger is popped up into his crotch on Jensen's knee and lariated.

Blade top rope double crossbodies Jagger and Jensen. He lariats Jensen on the ropes and dropkicks Briggs outside in the process. Blade blockbusters Jensen off the 2nd rope then Enofe top rope elbows Jensen for 2. Briggs lariats Blade over the top and Rip pounds on and slaps Jensen. Enofe knees Rip off the 2nd rope and everyone gets offense in. Blade and Enofe hit double dropkicks on B&J then Briggs takes a cool jumping cutter + jumping flatliner combo. Enofe tornillo's Dyad then Blade tope con hilos B&J. Gacy spinning lariats Enofe outside then Cameron Grimes comes out and hits his cave in M. Bison stomp on Gacy. Grimes pulls Rip out then Enofe rolls up Jagger and wins it.

Very fun three way match here with Blade/Enofe and Briggs/Jensen all really standing out and having maybe the best match they have ever had. It was a three way so it was spotty some, but they kept the action really moving here and had some nice highlights without overdoing it.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are interviewed. Jacy said they should be the #1 contenders and call Alba Fyre "Batgirl". Gigi says Jacy will take care of Alba and says they will walk through fire to get their revenge. Jacy says she will send Alba back a hot mess and says they may have a surprise for her.

We go to Kiana James' office. She is on the phone and is dealing with a blueprint of Chase U. She seems to be trying to buy the Chase U campus. Kiana says she will be in the ring with someone from Chase U tonight and says it is one of many acquisitions, then says this is just the beginning. Kiana calls over her assistant and says the enterprise is going to be huge.

Alba Fyre vs Jacy Jayne

Jacy armdrags her early then rolls her up. They lariat each other hard at the same time and trade forearms. Alba trips her and then forearms her form the floor. Gigi distracts Alba then Alba gets hit. Jacy cannonballs Alba in the corner then Alba hits chest chops on her. Alba gordbusters her and hits kicks. Alba puts her on her shoulders then does an F-U in the other direction and sits out. Alba topes both T-A members outside and hits Gigi on the ropes. Jacy rolls up Alba for 2 and alba superkicks her. Alba hits the gori bomb and wins it.

It was shorter and they kept this one moving with Gigi getting involved a few times. Not great or anything but it was okay.

Alba goes to leave and someone in a hoode pulls her into the stand. It's Sonya Deville. She throws Alba into the rails then T-A helps beat up Alba. Alba takes a pump kick  then takes a nasty looking powerbomb onto a table.

We go to the parking lot and the Dyad hit a camera man. Gacy says they must eliminate Grimes from their world. Gacy said he tried so hard to save Grimes. He says Grimes must face them 3v1 because Grimes has nobody to turn to. We then see the red hoodie person walking with them.

Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons talk about each other. We then go to a tryout and see Triple H talking about Zoey to Nikkita. Nikkita puts over Zoey as being able to do amazing things.

We see Quincy Elliot, Hank Walker and security talk. Hank says he has Quincy's back against Zyon Quinn next week. Hank smack Quincy on the butt and Quincy seems to be surprised and happy about it. Ugh.

Wes Lee vs Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo

Wes headscissors Stacks down then jumps up and does a nice headscissors. Wes dropkicks him then hits la magistral for 2. Stacks grabs Wes' leg and rolls over the middle rope and out with it. Stacks clips Wes then drops him on his own knee. Stacks does an inverted figure four on Wes. Wes hits strikes on Stacks then running euros him in the corner. Stacks does a nice reverse fireman's carry spinout into a neckbreaker.

Stacks goes up top and is thrown down then Wes hits a spiral tap for the win.

It was short and I didn't really like the finish of Wes fighting through his hurt knee.

Trick Williams attacks Wes after and they trade shots. Carmelo Hayes comes in and Wes is beat up 2v1. Oro Mensah comes out to even things up then hits an exploder on Melo. Trick is thrown over the top then pulls out Melo. Wes then tope con hilos both Wes and Tirck outside. Wes and Oro shake hands.

Gigi, Sonya Deville and Jacy are interviewed. Sonya says Mandy is still her best friend and says Alba hurting Gigi/Jacy is like hurting her friends. Sonya says Alba burnt off her brain cells and says she can't expect to get away with attacking Mandy. Sonya tells McKenzie that she will be waiting for Alba next week in the ring. She says if she shows up, she won't make it to Halloween Havoc.

We go to the hospital and see Diamond Mine. Roderick Strong is wheeled in by Ivy and Brutus promises that Julius will make Damon Kemp pay. They say Kemp will end up in the hospital. Strong says he is sorry as he brought Kemp in. He said he would fight with them, but he can't. Strong tells Julius he needs him to win at Halloween Havoc and they all put their hands in and Strong says it's Diamond Mine forever. Julius notably had facial hair here.

Kiana James vs Thea Hail

Thea is going wild and screaming during her entrance. Mr. Stone immediately gets in the ring and interrupts. He says he has business to talk about. He says the world is laughing at him because of Thea Hail. Thea mocks him and Stone complains about Thea slamming her. Stone says he will ruin her night, tries to attack her then gts back body dropped. Thea then stomps him and gets him out. Kiana does a reverse sling blade from behind and wins it.

Well, there was nothing to it, but at least there was a reason for it.

Stacks is in the back and Tony D comes in on crutches. Tony says he is feeling better than Stacks. Tony blames Stacks for his injury and says Stacks will feel consequences for his actions. Tony says Stacks has a match next week but refuses to tell him who. Tony says Stacks will know when his music hits.

We see Mr. Stone in the back getting laughed at. Von Wagner asks him what was that. Von says it's time to get serious and tells him it's time to cut the bs. Von says Stone needs to be locked in and Stone says it's time for Von to be champ.

Cameron Grimes is interviewed. He said it felt good to cost The Dyad the #1 contenders match. Grimes says he doesn't trust anyone in NXT, but says that doesn't mean he doesn't trust anyone in WWE.

Cora Jade walks in. She is mad about Roxanne going to Smackdown then says Rhea Ripley asked her to go to Raw.

Next week, Perez and Cora both have mystery opponents chosen by the other. Stacks has a mystery opponent and Alba Fyre takes on Sonya Deville.

Ilja Dragunov vs Grayson Waller

Ilja has had matches in the black and gold version of NXT, but not this one. He needs to win here.

GW avoids a shot on the ropes and rolls out early. Drag takes him down then does a nice japanese armdrag. GW kips out of a wristlock and flips Drag. Drag spinning chops him and sentons him. Drag waistlocks him from behind and GW cheapshots him. GW then leg lariats him and does a suck it motion to Booker T.

We go to PiP break and return. GW works a cravate and Drag rolls him up on a suplex attempt. Drag tiger feints through the ropes and chops him then forearm combos him. Waller hits a punch and then takes an enzugiri. Drag does a very nice arm and leg suplex. GW kicks Drag in the gut then legsweeps him. GW walks the 2nd rope and elbow drops Drag for 2. GW sleepers Drag and is backed up into the buckles.

Drag tiger feints then lariats GW. GW dropkicks Drag in the knee then grounded sleepers him. GW brings Drag's throat over the top. He goes out then the Halloween Havoc wheel starts to spin. GW rolls in for his cutter then Drag germans him a few times. Drag then lifts him between the legs and suplexes him. Drag torpedo headbutts him and wins it.

It was fine but far from the best they could do. But they didn't have much build or time, and that limited what was going to be done here.

Bron Breakker comes out and spears Dragunov after then poses. We see JD McDonagh clapping from the stands.  I haven't been a big fan of this three way feud and it's a tough one as all 3 people really shouldn't lose.

Overall thoughts: It was a busy show with a lot going on. There were a couple of pretty good matches and there were a lot of non-wrestling segments as well. The show is undergoing some changes though. It's no longer NXT 2.0, but a combo of the old NXT + NXT 2.0 + NXT UK. The matches are getting longer. The roster is getting too big, and because of it, there's less time for the rookies. They are trying to accommodate the NXT UK crew until NXT Europe comes around and that hasn't always worked out. We're also getting into an area where some people are too good to be down in NXT while others aren't progressing enough to justify their existence.

WWE NXT Level Up 10/7/2022

WWE NXT Level Up 10/7/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/10/wwe-nxt-level-up-9302022.html

Nigel McGuinness is on commentary here. This was taped and he was fired today, so this may be his last appearance.

Indi Hartwell vs Sloane Jacobs

If this is anything but a disaster, I'll be surprised.

They appear to immediately mess up a spot and Indi headlock takeovers her. Indi blocks a hiptoss and takes a basement dropkick. Indi euro uppercuts and facekicks Sloane while she is over the middle rope. Indi slams her then cravates her.

Sloane blocks a pain attempt and gets one of her own, then she high kicks her. Sloane twisting crossbodies her off the 2nd rope then Indi spinebusters her for the win.

This was short, they didn't get to do that much and what they did do wasn't too good.

Kianna James and Arianna Grace are interviewed. They safe they are excited to show the word what they are capable of. They say underestimating them can result in a huge loss as their stock is only going up. Grace says it's nice to have someone reliable in her corner and says James' brains are hard to come by. They said something like a small portion of people are smart, but the locker room is small and they like their odds.

Myles Borne vs Guru Raaj

They said Raaj was the first opponent of Borne's career and Raaj was the winner of it. Borne takes him down then does a nice job riding him into a gator roll. Raaj rolls out of a wristlock then backslides him for 2. Raaj side headlocks him and dropkicks him as he is seated. Raaj hits a nice dropkick for 2.

Raaj hits corner spears then top rope double axe handles him for 2. Raaj hits some kicks and punches while Borner is down then Borne catches his boot. Borne hits a great dropkick then belly to belly suplexe shim. He rolls and hangs on into a vertical suplex and rolls into a pin for 2. Borne hits another nice dropkick for 2.

Raaj kicks him in the chest then running facekicks him. Raaj comes off the top and is caught with a flatliner for the Myles Borne win. Borne backflips after.

This was fun. Borne probably had his best outing so far and continues to look like another NXT super rookie. He's just so smooth on the mat and hits great dropkicks.

Borne and Raaj handshake after.

Arianna Grace and Kiana James vs Fallon Henley and Sol Ruca

Grace has new gear and music. Not sure if the shiny red and gold gear fits her, but you can tell it was expensive. Sol has cool surf rock music and has a nice light orange/ white and black color combo on.

James and Fallon starts us off. James hits a knee then is knocked over with a chop. Grace is tagged in and armdragged, then takes a kick to the head. Fallon slides out and punches her on the ropes. Sol gets in and shoulders grace over then does a nice and new cartwheel into a moonsault on her. Sol avoids a double lariat and shoulders both opponents over.

Grace grabs Sol by the hair in the corner and James spears Sol. Grace running back elbows Sol in the corner then James ties up Sol in the ropes and pulls on her. James does a bad leapfrog over Grace to land on Sol on the ropes. Grace ties up Sol's chin and arm then stomach claws her. Sol dropkicks Grace and James stops Sol's tag. Sol is hung on the ropes again but Fallon pulls the ropes down and James falls out. Sol leg sweeps Grace and tags out.

Fallon gets in and running lariats Grace then does some facebuster. Sol kicks James off the apron then Fallon hits the shining wizard on Grace to win it.

It was on the shorter side. It wasn't anything too special.

Overall thoughts: Not a great episode with really only the Borne/Raaj match being good.

AEW Dynamite 10/5/2022

AEW Dynamite 10/5/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/09/aew-dynamite-9282022.html

Wheeler Yuta vs MJF

MJF evades his shot and does the Flair strut. MJF has put on a bunch of muscle since last time. Yuta flurries on MJF in the corner then armdrags him. Yuta dropkicks him and does an olympic slam variation. MJF trips Yuta in the corner and stomp flurries him. Yuta is then thrown by the arm into the buckles.

MJF chinlocks him then backbreakers him into a nice gutwrench suplex. We go to PiP break and return with MJF getting thrown hard into the corner. Yuta is thrown out but holds onto the rope and hits germans on MJF. Yuta release germans him. Yuta gets his hurricanrana blocked and gets powerbombed on the knee. Yuta hits punches and slaps then MJF eye pokes him. Yuta step up enzugiri's him and they trade pins. They then lariat each other at the same time.

Yuta goes up top and is crotched then he hurricanrana's MJF off the 2nd rope. Yuta topes MJF into the rails then Yuta top rope splashes him for 2. Yuta does the BCC elbow flurry to MJF then MJF does an armbar and wins it.

The match wasn't bad at all but the finish was really out of nowhere and didn't fit with everything else.

Yuta wants a handshake after then Lee Moriarty jumps Yuta from behind. MJF tells him he didn't tell him to do that then Stokeley Hathaway gives MJF his dynamite diamond ring. William Regal comes down to the ramp and puts on brass knucks. Lee and Stokeley leave and MJF backs off of Regal.

The JAS are interviewed. Menard is mad at Garcia for teaming with Danielson and is mad at Garcia throwing his purple hat on the ground. Parker says they love Garcia, but says he lost his way. Jericho says they taught Garcia all the tricks he knows and says lessons will be taught and learned tonight. Sammy says they will end him if he doesn't learn tonight.

Jay Lethal vs Darby Allin

Jay armdrags him early and Darby hammerlocks him. Darby armdrags him and sweeps the legs and they stand off. Jay works the leg and the match slows down. Jay drops Darby's knee on his knee then dragon screws him during the break. Jay release german suplexes him. They go up top and Jay dragon screws him from the top then figure fours him. Darby reverses it and hits the ropes. Darby avoids a lethal injection and Jay lands hard on his head. Jay then takes a code red. Darby picks up the win soon after in a slower match that made sense but was little heat.

Darby wants a hanshake after and pushes him and Jay surprisingly gives him one.

The Embassy does a promo. Cage says this isn't a comeback, but his arrival.

TNT Title - Wardlow vs Brian Cage

Cage flurries him in the corner and spears him there. Wardlow then does the same to him and they lariat battle. They trade punches and Wardlow hurricanrana's him. Cage headscissors him into the ropes and tries a 619. Wardlow catches him and powerslams him. Cage does a sit out alabama slam. We go to PiP break.

We return with Cage in control after hitting punches. Wardlow walks up the buckles and does a whisper in the wind. Wardlow release germans him then does a regular german. Wardlow belly to belly suplexes him and Cage does his deadlift suplex from the 2nd rope outside to in. Wardlow spinebusters him and Cage F-5's him for 2. Wardlow headbutts him and lariats him. Wardlow powerbombs him four times and wins it.

I thought they did a little too much here and I didn't like bringing Cage back just to job him out. As usual, Cage did every move he knows but the idea was there.

The Embassy attacks Wardlow after. Samoa Joe comes down to help. He gets beat up then FTR come out and the Embassy escapes.

Britt Baker does a taped promo. She says Saray will not be wrestling in AEW as "the doctor" has not medically cleared her to compete. She said this officially makes it her house now.

Toni Storm, Athena and Willow Nightingale vs Serena Deeb, Jamie Hayter and Penelope Ford

Athena had to get help taking off her wings form some production guy which looked silly. Ford and Athena do some rolls to start and Athena dropkicks her form the side. Ford comes off the 2nd rope on Athena and is caught and slammed. Ford does her back handspring elbow on Athena and Athena springboard twisting crossbodies her.

Storm throws Deeb by the hair then running chest kicks her hard. Deeb takes running hip attacks in the corner and Toni gets chopblocked.

We go to break and return. Toni is put in a double indian deathlock then Deeb and Jamie suplex girls while Toni is in it. Toni enzugiri's Deeb and tgas in Willow. willow lariats Jamie and chest kicks her. Willow spinebusters Jamie for 2. Saraya blocks Rebel's crutch shot attempt and Willow hits a pounce on Deeb. Everyone gets some offense in and Ford hits a cutter after slipping on a mtrix evasion from Willow's lariat. Ford goes for a handspring and is dropkicked against the ropes then Willow doctor bombs her for the win.

This was kind of rushed here with everyone trying to get something in within a short frame of time. Willow hit some stiff stuff here.

Britt Baker confronts Saray after and Saraya forearms her. They hockey fight and all the girls start fighting. Rebel gets caught by Saraya and is kicked as she is on her knees.

Rush, Private Party and Jose are interviewed. Jose plays clips of Private Party not showing up during Rush's fights with Adam Page. Rush tells PP to do the right thing and Jose threatens to take them to court if they don't.

The Acclaimed come out with Billy Gunn for their National Scissoring Day celebration. Bowens talks about how they are the winningest team and best homegrown team in AEw history. Bowens said they brought him gold and said AEW stands for Acclaimed Every Wednesday. Bowens says he is the Sultan of Sscissor. Bowens says Lee and Swerve were thrown together and calls Swerve, "Sneaky Swerve". Bowens says this isn't Swerve's house then Billy says this is "Daddy @ss's House". Billy hands Bowens some giant scissors. Max says his dad was on the Superbowl Redskins team 40 years ago here in DC. He says everyone is divided in DC, but today there is no red or blue, just pink. He says there will be a bi-partisan scissor.

Swerve interrupts and said he is sickened by all this then challenges Billy Gunn next week. Mark Sterling comes out and says The Acclaimed needs him. Mark wants to scissor then the Acclaimed and Billy beat him up then scissor to end the segment.

It started off well then went too long and fell off track with too many other people getting involved. I have no idea what the Mark Sterling stuff was about.

The Dark Order do a promo. They said Rampage will be the 2 year Anniversary of Brodie Lee's last match and they fight Death Triangle for the tag titles on it. Death Triangle responds and 10 says there is no better way to spend the anniversary then doing this. Penta says they are the best trio in the universe then Silver says they are coming for the trios title.

Madison Rayne and Skye Blue are interviewed. Rayne puts over Skye then Anna Jay and Tay Conti alk in and laugh at them. Anna says she needs a sports entertainer coach, not a wrestling coach. Skye says she can work on her charisma, but they should work on their charisma. They then set up a tag match for Friday.

Rush vs Adam Page

They run at each other then trade forearms. Page hits chops and Rush does the tranquillo pose. Rush forearms Page off the apron and throws him into the rail. Rush whips Page with a cord and chokes him with it.  We go to PiP break and return.

Page catches a crossbody then fallaway slams Rush. Page kips up and is forearmed and we see MJF watching in the back. Page springboards off the middle rope onto a clothelines on Rush on the apron then plancha's him. Rush jumps up and is caught and death valley drivered by Page.  Page hits forearms and Rush challenges him to do it again then Rush drops him with a forearm. Rush stands on him in the corner. Page kind of lights him up and slams him down and rolls him up. Page goes for a buckshot but is hit then Rush straightjacket piledrives him.

Rush's nose is bleeding then he takes a lariat. Page hits a buckshot lariat and wins.

It wasn't a bad match with them trading a lot of strikes and doing some high impact moves here. Rush losing does little to help him.

Private Party come out after then Jon Moxley comes out too. Mox gets on the mic, saying he has been waiting for this for 3 years. PP disappeared then randomly.

Then he said he and Page have beaten everyone in AEW except each other. Mox says there will be one last man standing and says he will break his face when they fight. He says he will choke him until he turns blue as he is in the way of him being the one true top guy in AEW. Mox says he respects him but respects nothing when the title is on the line. Page asks if he's been waiting for this for so long, where is he going now? Mox says he will let him off the hook and tells him to watch his mouth.

Willow says she wants to challenge for the TBS title at Battle of the Belts. The Baddies talk trash about Willow and Jade says it seems Willow wants to be #39. Willow says she beat her twice, but can she do it three times? Willow says what if she is 38-1 and she's the 1?

Luchasaurus vs Fuego del Sol

Lucha chokeslams him to start then does a cut throat reverse F-U and wins it in seconds.

He goes to beat up Sol more htne Junble boy comes out and chairs Lucha. Christian holds Lucha back. JB says Lucha was his best friend and says he chose Christian over him. He said he broke his heart. He said he will break his fingers, nose, arm and then do it piece by piece until he breaks him. He says to pick the time and place and he will be ready. Christian says he told him not to show up but says Lucha won't fight JB tonight. He says JB will fight Lucha next week in Christian's hometown - Toronto.

Pac does a promo on Trent Barretta, since he is fighting him on Rampage too. Trent isn't happy about him using a hammer on OC. Trent says he will get revenge but won't need a hammer. Pac says he will have no problem hurting Trent as well and Trent says he will be the new All-Atlantic champ.

Bryan Danielson and Daniel Garcia vs Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara

Jericho offers Garcia a handshake and he escapes. Jericho armdrags him then Garcia blocks one. Garcia rides his back then thye trade chops. Sammy pounds on Garcia. Danielson gets in and dropkicks Jericho on the apron then he flurries on Sammy. Bryan flips off the buckles then topes Jericho. Sammy tries to tope Bryan but is stopped with a forearm. We go to PiP break with Danielson hitting a missile dropkick from the top.

We return with Bryan suplexing Sammy then getting stopped on the top. Sammy spanish flies Bryan. Bryan takes a double shoulder then Sammy and Jericho pose. Samm and Bryan collide in the air with crossbodies. Garcia and Jericho stare down and Sammy comes off th etop and Garcia hits him. Jericho and Garcia punch each other then Garcia stomps him in the corner. Garcia backdrops Jericho  then PK's him. Garcia sharpshooters Jericho then is superkicked by Sammy. Garcia tornillos Bryan outside then Jericho and Garcia trade chops.

Garcia gets his knees up on a lionsault then Sammy comes of the top and is caught with a crossface. Bryan yes locks Jericho at the same time. Sammy flips out of a top rope double backdrop then standing spanish flies Bryan. Sammy lifts Garcia like a backdrop and kicks him on his way down. Garcia piledrives Sammy then Bryan knees Jericho off the apron. Garcia and Sammy kick each other then Garcia lariats him.

Bryan is suplexed on a table outside. Sammy hits his GTH on Garcia  then hits mounted punches. Sammy goes for a top rope ssp but Garcia gets his knees up. Garcia sharpshooters him then JEricho hits Garcia with the belt.  Sammy then pins Garcia.

It was fast paced and there was a lot of flipping here. Didn't like the top rope SSP not really counting for anything and didn't care much for the dirty finish.

The JAS celebrates after to close the show.

Overall thoughts: Not that bad of a show but a little on the long side with them going extra minutes for the main.
