LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 8/30/2026

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 8/30/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/lm52-lucha-libre-mexicana-on-discovery_02035224098.html

Leobardo Magadan and Alberto Zamudio are our hosts.

Latigo is in a car and talks to himself. We then see him get attacked in the parking lot with a kendo stick by 2 wrestlers. Someone else then comes to help Latigo out. There were no graphics or anything so it was hard to know who was who here.

The hosts talk.

Radioactivo and Latigo vs Cosmico and Noisy Boy

Spider Fly comes out with Noisy Boy but he's on crutches and has a knee brace. Spider talks on the mic before the match.

Cos and Radio go at it. Radio blocks his attempt to escape the wristlock and boots him. Cos tries a springboard hurricanrana but Radio doesn't catch him. Cos armdrags him and they head flip up together.

Cos boots him out of the corner. Noisy springboard diving armdrags Radio out. Lat shoulders Noisy over. Noisy flips off the top into an armdrag on Lat. Noisy's handspring is caught. He takes a dropkick. Radio step up enzugiri's Noisy in the corner.

Cos is chopped down in the corner and foot choked. Cos takes a pop up drop and a superkick from Radio or 2. Lat foot chokes Noisy. Radio hits mounted corner punches on Noisy. Lat kicks Noisy in the knee. Radio kicks Cos in the head. Cos is tilt-a-whirled into a sitout powerbomb.

Radio foot chokes Noisy. Noisy superkicks Lat. Cos springboard crossbodies Lat. Lat is double superkicked out. Noisy and Cos hit stereo tope con hilos outside. Noisy and Cos hit stereo top rope frogsplashes for 2 counts. Noisy boots Radio out of the corner. Noisy kneeling springboard cutters him. Cos rope walk 450's Radio for 2.  Cos is powerbombed and Lat gets a 2 count on him. Radio stomps Noisy. Noisy sends his opponents into each other. Noisy is flipped into the ropes but he handspring moonsaults Lat. Noisy crucifix bombs Radio for 2.

Noisy crabs Radio and Lat superkicks Noisy in the head. Cos jumps off Radio's back and cutters Lat. Lat corner crossbodies Cos. Radio does a neat dive on Noisy through the ropes. Lat suplexes Cos into a backbreaker and pins him.

Thoughts
: It didn't start off the best but it ended well and it wasn't bad. Cos is still a little green. Noisy did some nice stuff here but it looks a little better on AAA TV when it is lit up better. This was fine as an opener and I'd be up for seeing these guys again.

Latigo goes to the back, sees two masked wrestlers and goes after them with a chair. The wrestlers all get held back.

The hosts talk.

Latigo is interviewed.

Pig Destroyer and Pig Decapitador go through catering in the back looking for food. The worker there gives them some plates of food. Hell goes up to The Pigs, says something and Decapitador gets mad. Destroyer then tries to get him to cool down.

Hell does an interview.

Oni El Bendito and Hell vs El Hijo del Alebrije and Electroshock vs Tonalli and Rey Bucanero vs La Puerquiza Extrema (Pig Destroyer and Pig Decapitador)

Rey and Elec go at it. Elec trips him and grabs the leg. Rey armlocks him and chinlocks him. Elec armdrags him. They trip each other Elec and Rey get knocked out of the ring by Hell and Tonalli. Hell and Ton push and forearm each other. Hell shoulders him over. Hell flips over his back and facekicks him. Hell neckbreakers him.

Oni chops down Ton. Ton kicks Oni and Hell. Ton bounces into the ropes and armdrags Hell down. Ton sunset flips Oni and Alebrije top rope crossbodies Oni. Ale is popped up into a headscissors on Oni.

Pig Decap comes in. He totally botches a move and just knocks Oni over. Rey hits chops on Decap. Destroyer corner splashes Decap when Rey moves. Ton top rope diving headscissors Destroyer. Those 4 trade shots then the others join in to beat down The Pigs. Decap is chopped outside and kicked. Rey tries to unmask Destroyer. Elec does a bow and arrow to Destroyer and Ale hits some stomps.

Destroyer takes running corner attacks. Destroyer then gets stomped by 6 people together. Decap then gets it too. Decap hits a double lariat then is clubbed on by 4 people. Decap pushes them off the bodyblocks them one by one. The Pig's then pose.

Rey slams Decap and Elec slams Destroyer. Elec is flipped into the ropes and takes a double drop on his chest. The Pig's splash Elec's back together. Decap takes corner attacks from Rey and Ton. Oni is double teamed by Rey and Ton. Oni corner splashes Ton and backrolls into a cutter on Rey. Hell topes Rey outside.

Oni slams Ton then 2nd rope asai moonsaults him for 2. Elec belly to belly suplexes Oni. Ale double jump moonsaults Oni for 2. Ale bottom rope headscissors Ton. Ton flips over his back. Ton is dumped over the top and Ton topes him.

Oni dropkicks Elec out then topes him. Destroyer sitout powerbombs Hell and Decap splashes Hell. The Pigs get on the ropes then a Cibernetico video plays on the tron. Ciber then talks on the tron from another location. Rey and Ton make their comeback. Rey throws Destroyer off the top. Rey sentons Recap and Ton top rope splashes Destroyer. Rey and Ton pick up stereo pins and win.

Thoughts: I didn't get the finish at all here. This wasn't that bad, mostly because it gave us a break from Wagner and Pirata's brawling for a show. They kept it moving and some of the logic made sen. The finish was lousy though.

The Pigs are interviewed.

The hosts then talk to close the show.

Overall thoughts: We had 2 new matches here. The opening tag match wasn't bad. The main had a bad finish but was more tolerable than the usual main events, mostly due to Wagner and Pirata Morgan not being involved. We also got some interviews which we don't usually get and some other non-wrestling segments which is good as the promotion needs it. It was acceptable overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10. There's nothing you really need to see here though.

MLW Fusion 8/29/2026

MLW Fusion 8/29/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/mlw-fusion-8222026.html

We are in Chattanooga, TN. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawlor are on commentary.

Matt Riddle arrives and is asked about facing Bishop Dyer tonight. He says he doesn't know what kind of athlete he is anymore. He says he will put the beatdown on him tonight.

Shotzi vs. Jazzy Yang

Jazz ducks a lock up, celebrates and is rolled up for 2. Jazz la magistral's her for 2. Jazz sweeps her and Shotzi armdrags her. Shotzi 619's her. Shotzi top rope crossbodies her for 2. Shotzi cannonballs her off the apron outside. Corinne Joy films Shotzi for her social media. Jazz superkicks Shotzi.

Jacc's nose is busted open. Jazz spinning heel kicks Shotzi. Jazz knees her in the gut. Jazz russian legsweeps her. Jazz ties up her arm and leg and armlocks the other arm. Shotzi 2nd rope dropkicks her.

Shotzi running knee lifts her and brazilian kicks her. Shotzi suplexes her into the corner. Shotzi corner sentons her for 2. Jazz sweeps her and shining wizards her for 2. Jazz is thrown off the top and Shotzi running cutters her. Shotzi top rope sentons Jazz (I think she films herself with a phone while doing it) and pins her.

Thoughts: It was fine. Jazz got some offense in before going down. She did her part and was the underdog while Shoti won as expected. It was clean and ended before it got stale.

Lady Frost comes out to the ramp and stares at Shotzi.

Josef Samael does a video with Brick Savage. He says he searched the corners of the earth and says MLW was looking for a main event. He says while the world was looking for a savior, he was building a weapon. He says he opened the gates and you will suffer the consequences.

We get a video with a diamond breaking into pieces. The graphic says "coming soon".

The Good Brothers are in the back. Karl says The MLW Tag champs are leaving the building and heading to Japan. Doc tells his son he's carrying his dues by carrying their stuff and tells him he forgot some stuff. We then see DOc's son struggle to carry his stuff

Glasgow Boys on Top do a promo. Mark says everywhere they go, they win titles. Wolf says they've been studying the MLW Tag division and says they could take all of them easily. Joe says they are coming for tag gold and he himself is coming for singles gold.

Brick Savage vs. Terry Sequoyah

Josef Samael is with Brick.

Terry tells Brick to bring it on. Terry ducks him and forearms him from behind. Terry is flipped and Brick throws him in the corner. Brick corner splashes him. Terry avoids a corner charge and enzugiri's him from the apron. Brick throws Terry in hard. Brick corner spears him then drops him off his shoulder. Brick does a nice reverse slam and pins Terry.

Thoughts
: It was all squash as expected with Terry getting destroyed. It went as it should have here. Brick's reverse slam was a nice.

An EMT checks on Terry after. Brick gets up in the EMS' face. The EMT tries to back him up. Josef Samael fireballs the EMT in the face. Brick then buries Terry under a Contra flag.

The Skyscrapers talk in the back. Dijak tries to get his partners to shut up and listen. Josh is hyped up and shoves them both. Dijak says to stick to the plan and they tell Josh to listen. Josh says to listen to him. Dyer says he'll handle this and says it's getting ridiculous.

We are told the EMT is going to a trauma medical center.

We get a video on The Opera Cup. That begins in 2 weeks.

Bishop Dyer vs. Matt Riddle

Dijak is on commentary for this.

Dyer charges at him and stomps on him in the corner. Dyer throws him hard in the corner. Dyer hits punches. Matt is thrown chest first into the buckles. Matt hits forearms and Dyer back elbows him for 2.

Dyer throws him out and hits punches on him outside. Matt trying him over the top rope. Matt tries to slingshot in and is hit. Dyer short arm lariats him. Dyer hits downward elbows on Matt.

Dyer punches him. Matt hits shots on him. Dyer brainbusters him for 2. Dyer throws him shoulder first into the post. They trade chops and forearms. Dyer face kicks him and high kicks him. Matt flying pumping knees him. Matt hits chest kicks in the corner. Matt hits corner flying forearms.

Dyer gordbusters him. Matt back elbows him. Matt top rope whisper in the wind's him. Matt misses a top rope moonsault. Dyer goes for deep six and Matt cutters him. Matt pins him.

Thoughts: It was short. It wasn't some big main event or anything. It was more towards the average side of things and was basically a throwaway for these guys.

Dijak jumps Matt after and foot chokes him. Killer Kross comes out and cutters Dijak. Josh Bishop then comes out and chokeslams Kross.

Josh grabs some chairs. We cut away though to replays of what just happened and Josh is on the stage when we return. Kross gets the mic. He says he sees where things are going and challenges Josh to a No Holds Barred MLW World Title match.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual MLW Fusion for the most part. It made sense and was acceptable enough but if you are looking for must see stuff, MLW doesn't offer it. Shotzi got a decent bout out of Jazzy Yang. Brick Savage won a quick squash then firedball'd an EMT after. Dyer/Riddle was a night off for them. They took it easy and didn't get too much time. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the main could have been a bit better. It was acceptable.

TNA Xplosion 8/28/2026

TNA Xplosion 8/28/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/tna-xplosion-8212026.html

The only new content is:

Brian Johnson talks before his match. Brian says since Day 1 it has always been Mecca vs Everyone. He says he sees people trying to jump on his bandwagon and tells them to get bent. He says he was the little engine that could before he was heard and said no one thought he was. He says he will step up for the franchise and will change this place into his image. He says he is the M-E-C-C-A.

Brian Johnson vs Cheesburger

CB gives a fan a cheeseburger hat as he comes out.

BJ shoves him before the match and CB shoves back. CB side headlocks him. CB goes under the legs, leapfrogs him, goes between the legs backwards and stands on his back while pulling his arms. CB handstand knee drops him.

CB takes a stungun and a backdrop. BJ hits short arm lariats then flying lariats him for 2. BJ clubs his back. They over a suplex and CB suplexes him. CB hits forearm shots. CB superkicks him and dragon suplexes him. CB buzzsaw kicks him for 2.

BJ rolls him up while holding the tights and gets caught. CB rolls him up for 2. CB backslides him for 2. CB boots him out of the corner. BJ eye pokes him then twisting drops him on his face. BJ pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. CB had a good showing and showed off some here. BJ ended up cheating to win. I had no real issues with this. On paper it looked like it would be fine and it worked out well in reality.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match here. It was fine but nothing you need to go out of your way to see. You can through all of the new content here in only a few minutes at least,. I wouldn't really recommend this one.

WWE NXT 9/1/2026

WWE NXT 9/1/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/wwe-nxt-8252026.html

We are in the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

We get some clips from Heatwave.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Zilla Fatu comes out to talk. He says he was hoping he'd be standing here as champ but Heatwave didn't go his way. He says he thought he had everything figured out. He said the red carpet was laid out but he didn't get the job done. He says it's crazier that he's even in this situation.

Tristan Angels comes out and interrupts. He says the people have the attention of fruit flies. He says he lost and proved he can't be the main one in NXT. He says he's not even the main one in his family. He says he doesn't know why he thought he would win the NXT Title in his debut. He says he doesn't look like a champ or carry himself like one.

Fatu says he thought he was the only nepo baby here and didn't know Gangrel Jr was here. He says he likes his accent but not his attitude. He says his family in Orlando would like to see him beat Angels' @ss. Angels says he obliges if he wants to take his 2nd NXT loss. Angels goes to hit him, gets dropped and goes out.

Robert Stone talks to Saquon Shugars and EK Prosper. EK says he's tired of how Waller is talking about the men's division and Shugars agrees. EK says he wants to face Waller. Shugars says he lost last week. EK says the cage match he was in was wild.

Keanu Carver comes in. He says they aren't the only ones who want a match with Waller. He says Stone is in a pickle and asks what he will do.

We get the same Naraku video on Shiloh Hill from Heatwave.

Myles Borne does a video from his car. He says he doesn't regret defending both titles on Sunday. He says he took a big swing and struck out. He says he saw how Tavion looked at him and says he knew the tag titles meant a lot to him. He says he thought Tav would suplex him for losing and he says he got him before Tav got him. He says everyone asks if you want to make friends or money and it sucks.

Naraku vs Shiloh Hill

Nar ducks a lock up. Hill hits some mounted shots and waistlock takedowns him. Nar hits chops and shoulders him over. Hill flying shoulders him. Hill hits shots to the gut and back elbows him. HIll is crotched up top and goes down.

We go to break and return. Nar twisting facebusters him down for 2. Nar hits chops. Nar misses a corner charge. Hill hits punches. Hill running boots him and tilt-a-whirl slams him. Hill standing inverted flip dives him for 2.

Nar stun guns Hill on the chest. HIll sunset flips him. Nar hits a throat shot then hits darkness falls for 2. Hill pop up forearms him. They double lariat each other down. Nar spits mist on his hand. He teases spitting it at Hill, Hill ducks and Nar sticks the misted hand in his eyes instead. Nar then pins him.

Thoughts: The finish was interesting here. It's nice to see Naraku not do all the cheap heel tactics and actually wrestle a bit. He's not great, but he's a lot more watchable. This was acceptable.

Moreno, Dar, Legacy and Van Dux talk in the back. They end up arguing and Legacy tries to calm them down. Legacy says him and Dux will show Stone why they will always be super tonight. Dar says they will show why they are super duper. Those two teams face each other tonight.

Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar vs Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux

The pace was insane here. They did all kinds of flying and sold little. It was a total indy style match and not my thing at all. I just don't know what they see in this Dar/Romeo team.

The Creed Brothers attack both teams after. Romeo takes a brutusball + powerbomb and is pinned.

Robert Stone talks to Zaria and asks what title she will choose to keep. I think Zar says Sol Ruca was tied to the title but since she's gone, the Speed Title is gone. Stone then tells Lexis King his Speed Title is defunct. King says Stone can take the title but can't take The Birthright from them. Dempsey says they should stop giving to the business and should start taking from it.

Cruz Montana talks to Stone. Cruz says he's here to make a request. He says his last match with Waller ended without a winner and he asks for a title match with Waller. Stone says Waller will address everyone later. Keanu Carver comes in. He says everyone is going to want Waller and says it sucks to be Stone.

Thoughts: I didn't like how the Speed Titles were handled here. Why exactly did they need to be ended in kayfabe? And why did Zaria get a choice over which title she wanted to get rid of while King just had to drop his?

Kelani Jordan comes out. She talks about winning the title on her first try and says she's overlooked. She say she doesn't need the "you deserve it" chants as she earned it. She says people finally aren't talking about how great Kendall Grey but are talking about how great Kelani has always been. She says she and Grey had an instant classic and she was in over her head when she got her face planted in the buckle. She says she's champ while Kendall is dealing with vertigo. She says Wren is taking care of Kendall like the good side kick she is. She says no one does it like 'Lani.

Jaida Parker comes out. JP says Kelani is feeling herself and she deserves it. She says she earned the title but she's not the only one who called her shot at Heatwave. She says she overcame the biggest thorn on her side and tapped her out. She says she upped her game and moved her focus to the NXT Women's Title. She says she's already beaten Kelani. She says there's time left in the show and challenges her.

Kelani says it's big talk coming from her and says all she does is talk. Kelani says they both ave their gear and want to fight...but just not tonight. She says she will see her next week.

Thea Hail then comes out before Kelani leaves. She then hugs Jaida.

Thea Hail vs Nikkita Lyons

NL misses high kicks. Thea thesz presses her and hits punches. Thea armdrags her and splashes the arm. Thea high kicks her from the apron. NL throws her from the slam position. Thea's throat is catapulted into the 2nd rope.

Thea foot choks her. Thea hits mounted shots and NL camel clutches her. Thea drops her down backwards to get out. Thea headbutts her and 2nd rope knee drops her arm. Thea exploders her. Thea flipping neckbreakers her from the side for 2.

NL germans her and forearms her down for 2. Thea hurricanrana's her for 2. NL spin kicks her down and misses a vader bomb. Thea 2nd rope backsplashes her and pins her.

Thoughts
: This was a bit of a surprise. This was interesting as we just had this match on Evolve on 8/19 and Lyons won then. Thea won here. I'm curious to see what that means. This was average though and didn't get a ton of time.

We are told Kendal Grey is out for the foreseeable future due to injuries.

Kam Hendrix vs Mason Rook

Rook nails him during his entrance. Rook lariats him down and corner splashes him twice. Rook slams him and sentons him. Rook misses a corner splash and Kam punches him, knocking him out of the ring. Rook is sent into the steps.

Kam splashes and sentons him. Kam hits punches and a forearm for 2. Kam butt drops Rook's back. Rook hits a nasty crossbody. Rook lariats him down hard a few times. Rook blue thunders him for 2. Kam rolls him up for 2.

Kam showtime kicks him in the chest for 2. Kam gets sent into an exposed buckle and takes a back body drop. Rook sit out AA's him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was another shorter one but I liked it. Kam took some really stiff shots here and tried to put over Rook. I'm not sure if Kam getting squashed was the right call though. This was an okay bout.

Tavion Heights is interviewed. He says he's p!ssed they lost the titles, he's upset Myles lost the N-A Title and he feels betrayed. He says he's confused about what Borne said about getting him before he got got. Tav says Borne saying he would backstab him hurts the most. The Vanity Project come in and mock Tav. Tav says Drake wouldn't be champ if Borne didn't have a match before him. Tav challenges him to a match. Drake says he'd love an easy win over him and says he will talk to Stone.

Zilla Fatu vs Tristan Angels

Fatu backs him up in the corner. TA hits punches and chops. TA flying back elbows him. TA does Dolph Ziggler's dance. Fatu headbutts him in the chest and chops him down. Fatu corner splashes him then back body drops him.

TA is stuck on the 2nd rope and Fatu jumping headbutts him.  TA flatliners him into the 2nd rope. TA running dropkicks him and stomps him in the corner. TA uppercuts him. Fatu throws him out then lariats him over the top. Fatu then topes him over the commentary table.

Fatu is crotched up top. TA step up enzugiri's him off the buckles. Fatu goes out and we go to break. We return from break. They each hit shots and Fatu headdbuts him down. Fatu bangs TA's head off the buckles. Fatu lariats him down, uranage's him and sentons him for 2. Fatu misses a corner hip attacks. TA facekicks him and backcrackers him for 2.

TA misses a step up enzugiri. Fatu superkicks him and pop up samoan drops him. Fatu flying samoan spikes him and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was an okay bout here with a lot of action. Fatu got a lot of moves in on this and bumped. Fatu also got his mouth busted open here. This was one of Angels' better showings and he has really improved a lot in NXT.

The Birthright come out. Uriah welcomes him to NXT. He says he knows who they are and says Fatu is like them. Dempsey says they are both destined for greatness due to their lineage. Dempsey asks Fatu to join them. Dempsey says he will be bottom of the barrel in Bloodline. King says they will treat him like family and will be The Main One like he calls himself. He says Fatu has had a target on his back but they can make it go away. King says it's his official Birthright invite. Fatu says "hell no". King pulls on him and is superkicked. Fatu then escapes The Birthright.

Grayson Waller arrives in the parking lot. We go to break and return. Waller comes out to talk. GW says Stone is happy he won as he has a superstar on his brand. He says Vic Joseph should be thankful that he gets to talk about him. GW says winning the NXT Title meant more than everything else he did. He then thanks the people who got him here...himself.

Waller says his phone is ringing off the hook from people who didn't used to talk his calls. He tells Pearce and Aldis that he will get back to them when he's ready. He asks who will step up and knock him off his pedestal. He asks if it will be Zilla but says sometimes talent isn't passed through the genes. He asks about Cruz Montana, shows his shirt that has Cruz on it and says he's not as good as he thinks. He says he's good, just TNA good. He asks if Tony D'Angelo wants the belt back and tells him to find Two Dimes and a shovel to find out how far he buried him.

Saquon Shugars then comes out. He says Waller found the answer to his question. He says he could get rattled like Dion did last week if he doesn't watch what he says. Cruz Montana comes out through the crowd.

Cruz says Shugars isn't ready but he is. He says Waller didn't beat him 3 weeks ago or at Heatwave. EK Prosper comes out. He says Cruz got his shot already. He gets interrupted by Mason Rook. He says Waller thinks he can stir the pout without consequences. He says let's see how tough he is. Waller says to get the widescreen camera for him. Tony D'Angelo comes out. He says he held the division together and won't let Waller disrespect the title. Tony says Waller never faced him 1v1 and he wants his rematch. Robert Stone says they aren't doing this now. Keanu Carver comes out an says Stone has himself a situation. Keanu says they should do a 6-man tag with the winning team getting to fight for #1 contendership. Stone says there's only 5 competitors. Keanu then gets in the ring and Stone sets it up. Everyone but Waller fights.

Overall thoughts: Hill/Naraku was acceptable. The Dar/Moreno tag was way too fast to do the play by play on and was an indy style match with more action than logic. I didn't like that one. Thea/Lyons was short and was oddly, they just fought on Evolve a few weeks ago. I liked Kam/Rook but I didn't think Kam got booked that strong in it. Zilla/Angels was okay and better than I expected. The main event was just a talking segment and was nothing too special. There was a fair bit of talking on this one. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as the wrestling helped this one out. It was acceptable overall.

WWE LFG 8/30/2026 Season 3, Episode 22

WWE LFG 8/30/2026 Season 3, Episode 22

The last show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/wwe-lfg-8302026-season-3-episode-21.html

We see Braxton Cole golfing. He says golf helps him reset the mind. He says he is self-taught and says he started getting good. Cole says it's fun to be good at things. He says people think golfers are privileged like with his gimmick and he can back it up with some skill. He says he has the brains and the brawn and now watch his drive.

Matt Bloom, Natalya, Bubba Ray Dudley and Booker T talk. Bloom says they told Lyons last time that she is coming to WWE World and said they need to find 3 more people to go. Nat has Tristan Angels vs Trill London. He says Trill can do it all but needs to not get bored with the fundamentals. Bubba asks if Trill will make it. Bloom says he hopes so but the roster is deep. Booker says Trill knows the moves but needs to know the fundamentals. Bubba says he can do Jeff Hardy's wristlock but not a wristlock. Nat has Layla Diggs vs Kali Armstrong. Booker says they are both talented and it could be something special. Bloom says Bubba has Harlem Lewis vs Braxton Cole. Bloom says Harlem wants to go to Vegas. Bubba says Harlem likes be less hands on and he says he will give him the same room tonight. He says he wants to see if people will react to Cole's book gimmick.

Trill London says he wants to work on being comfortable in the ring and work on his footing. Tristan Angels says Trill is a great sportsman, but this is his domain in the ring. Nat goes over the match with them. Nat says Tristan has done a lot of shows and is a vet but he's new to the WWE style. Myka Lockwood practices with them and will be involved in the match. Nat says she loves Myka. Myka says she's trying a different role.

Tristan says he'd love to go to Vegas and wants to show that he can give anyone the best match he had.

Trill London vs Tristan Angels

Trill comes out with a video camera and a mask. He then gives it to the camera man. It's an old and crappy camera. Trill is no longer with WWE.

TA slides out and greets Myka Lockwood. He then walks her to ringside with him. TA waistlocks him. Trill shoulders him over and armdrags him. Trill slides between the legs and flips him by the wrist. Trill dropkicks him out.

TA goes out, Trill goes out after him and Myka gets in the way. Trill goes past her and TA forearms Trill down. Nat complains about it. Trill is thrown shoulder first into the buckles then his arm is codebreakered.

Trill is dropped either arm or rib first on the top rope. Trill is sent into the buckles arms first and TA throws him over. Booker complains about Trill. TA armlocks him. Trill hits elbows to the gut and throws him over. Trill running back elbows him and basement dropkicks him.

Trill goes up top and misses a swanton. TA kicks him in the arm. TA suplexes him over the top and goes with him. Myka slides a chair in and Borash calls her "Bayleigh". Trill ends up getting count after TA makes it back in on the 10 count. Nat asks, "What the f*ck was that?". Booker says, "I don't know".

Thoughts: It's hard to judge this neutrally since the coaches were ripping it pretty hard. We'll have to see what the story is with the finish. Trill was a little sloppy earlier and could have shown more emotion from the face but he did sell. It got boring in the second half and wasn't that good with the bad finish. This feels like it could maybe be a worked shoot, but why would you do that and make Trill look bad?

Nat says Tristan did a good job being a leader and says Trill needs a leader to grow. Nat says everything is reps. Nat says she wants to see Trill's face more. Nat says she was confused on the finish. Trill says it was a rep to get better with.

Bloom talks to them. He complains about Trill's selling. Trill says he doesn't know what the future holds for him here. Bloom tells Tristan to sell the course and puts Myka over. Tristan says if he can keeping chipping away, maybe him and Myka can do a mixed tag.

Booker T works with Layla Diggs and Kali Armstrong in the ring. Kali says the ring is no playground and she's exicted to work with Layla. Booker says he wants to make Kali the complete wrestler and says she can go a long way. Booker says Diggs checks off just as many boxes. Diggs says Booker is a genius at the little things. Booker tells them the last match stunk up the joint and they need to get this one.

Kali Armstrong vs Layla Diggs

Kali hits her from behind before her entrance jacket is off. The bel then rings. Diggs sunset flips her for 2. Kali lariats her down. Diggs goes up and over and hits armdrags. Diggs boots her in the corner. Diggs fallaway slams her.

Kali drops Diggs throat first on the ropes then Kali running lariats her for 2. Kali back elbows her and spinebusters her. Kali chinlocks her. Diggs hits shots to the gut and chops her. Kali goes up and over and hits punches. Diggs ducks a punch, lariats her and leg lariats her. Diggs flips out of a lariat and overhead kicks her for 2.

Kali boots her and Diggs corkscrew kicks her. Diggs top rope moonsaults her for 2. Kali is supposed to duck a side kick but is kicked in the face. Kali powerslams her. Kali flying shoulderblocks her for the pin.

Thoughts:
Kali definitely got rocked a little with the side kick. It wasn't going that bad otherwise but it was obvious something went wrong.

The girls talk to Booker. Booker says Diggs needs to kick higher. Booker says they were on course to having the best match of the night and says good job.

Bloom says it wasn't a bad match but knew something happened. He tells Kali to keep growing. Kali says she'd be stoked to wrestle on Wrestlemania Weekend.

Bubba talks to Braxton Cole and Harlem Lewis. Bubba says Lewis did good a few weeks ago without tons of help. We see them practice. Lewis says Bubba doesn't get Cole using the book. Bubba says he wants Cole to let people know he's smarter than them and wants him to use the book. Cole says Booker told him not to use the book and be a gimmick wrestler. Bubba says Booker wore a crown and called himself King Booker. Bubba says to go with the book for the heat spot. Lewis says no one else can do what he does and he's close to getting to NXT. Lewis says they are then 30 minutes before the match and don't know what they are doing and it becomes a fiasco. Bubba then tells Cole not to come back if the match is the sh!ts.

Harlem Lewis vs Braxton Cole

We are at the NXT Arena for this.

Lewis takes him down with the waistlock twice. Lewis shoulders him over. Cole rolls him on the mat. Cole shoulders him over. Lewis slams him twice and facekicks him over the top. Lewis double axe handles him off the apron.

Cole's head is banged off the apron and commentary table. Cole tries to elbow drop going him but misses. Lewis lariats him. Lewis hits a corner spear then hits punches in the corner. Cole takes the top buckle off. Lewis asks the ref to fix it. Cole then hits Lewis with his book. Cole kicks him in the leg then elbow drops the leg.

Cole knee drops the leg. Lewis jumping knees him out of the corner. Lewis hits punches and forearms him down. Lewis does an usual takedown that Bubba complains about. Cole boots Lewis out of the corner and grabs his book. Lewis facekicks him down. Lewis jackhammers him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was average and could have been better. I think Cole could have used a little more offense here and Lewis could have thrown him around a little with a big comeback. That botched move they did was interesting and could actually be a real move.

Cole says everyone told him he was happy about the match. Bubba liked the match and said they did an excellent job. Bubba talks about the weird move they did but wants to talk to Lewis alone. Bubba asks if he thinks he can do better and tells him to do better. Bubba says he wants him to work on some things. Lewis doesn't know what he means. Bubba tells him to do it in Las Vegas and says it's the closest thing to Wrestlemania for now. Lewis says the wrestlers with him better bring their A-game. Like with Nikkita Lyons, we never got to see Harlem's WWE World match and I'm starting to think they did that on purpose because they will show us it on LFG. Fingers crossed.

Matt Bloom says there's only so many people who can be on the roster. He says they need to make some hard charges and says you aren't impressing, you will get released. He says they released Trill London, Chris Island, Sirena Linton and Carlee Bright. Matt says he has nothing but positive things to say about them. He says they had the passion but weren't growing as fast as they needed them to grow. We then hear some previous taped lines from them.

Thoughts: This segment was something different but it was necessary. Yeah, they could have gone without explaining why people on the show got cut, but at least they addressed it. I ranted about these cuts when they originally happened. Trill really has a lot of potential but you can see his issues with him not always hitting things clean and  the coaches didn't like working with him. Chris Island wasn't liked by the coaches, he never really seemed to figure out who he was and he just wasn't good enough at this stage. Sirena looked like she got better but we saw little of her. Carlee was on Evolve at one point and looked like she was going places, but they stopped using her and she never made it back.

Overall thoughts: I don't know if Trill/Angels was a shoot or a work but it didn't work. Kali/Diggs was going fine until Kali got kicked in the head on accident. Lewis/Cole was average. They then finally addressed the elephant in the room with all of the LFG wrestlers who got fired during the season at the end. There was nothing must see here but the segment with Bloom addressing the cuts was interesting. I wouldn't really recommend this one as the matches weren't that great.

The next show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/wwe-lfg-8302026-season-3-episode-22.html

Matt Bloom, Natalya, Bubba Ray Dudley and Kevin Owens talk. Bloom says it's Wrestlemania Season and says the talent know they have a shot to rep LFG at WWE World. He says they will pick the best 4 to do that. Bubba has Sirena Linton vs Carlee Bright. Bloom wants a simple story told well. Bubba asks who Carlee is. Bloom says she works her @ss off and is developing her passion. He says she needs to work on her selling. Bubba says Sirena will be the heel to force the selling. Natalya has Chris Island vs Shady Elnahas. Bloom says Chris had his best showing yet last time and he needs him to be consistent. He says Shady needs to show off his strengths. Nat wants to see their version of aggression. Owens says they both can claim to be the most dangerous in the right but neither shows it in the ring. Owens has Nikkita Lyons vs Masyn Holiday. Bloom wants Masyn to try and be heel.

Bubba talks to Sirena and Carlee. He asks Carlee who she is. Carlee says she had a hip and lower back injury. She says she couldn't stand of bend over. Sirena said she had a stomach that was hurting and said she needed appendix surgery. Bubba tells them to keep it simple and have a good, strong, solid match. Carlee says there's a lot of pressure. Bubba tells Carlee to sell and wants to see Sirena's intent to do bad things to her. Carlee says she told her not to hit her hard. Bubba wants Carlee to talk on the mic and get nailed. Sirena says being coached by Bubba is a rollercoaster and says he brings a lot out of her. Carlee says nerves always hit her but she wants to make a statement about being overlooked.

Sirena Linton vs Carlee Bright

Both girls have already been fired by WWE.

Carlee talks on the mic and says it's been way too long. She introduces herself and says she's happy to see everyone. She says she didn't know if or when she could keep doing this and says it means a lot to be here. Sirena then nails her form behind. Sirena says, "It's my first match back too, b!tch".

SL boots her and bangs her head off the buckles. SL chops her and sends her hard into the corner. SL handspring back elbows her.

CB sunset flips her for 2. CB elbows her in the gut. CB bends over and is thrown down backwards. SL then stands on her hair. SL bangs CB's head off the mat. SL flipping leg drops her back for 2. SL chinlocks her. CB codebreakers her.

CB fires up. SL misses a corner move and takes lariats. CB swinging neckbreakers her. CB reverse ddt's her. SL misses a flip off the top. CB top rope crossbodies her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short but acceptable for what it was. There was nothing too memorable but there was also nothing wrong with this. It didn't get that much time.

Bubba talks to Bright and Linton after. Both girls are happy with how it went. Linton said she had fun. Bubba says  Carlee could have taken a little more time on the promo to enjoy it. He says he liked it.

Bloom talks to the girls and cites a line in the promo that we didn't see it. Bloom wanted a little more selling and wanting something else in the finish. He says it was fun to watch it. Bright says it's impressive that they can still wrestle after their heath issues.

Chris Island and Shady Elnahas grapple a bit in the back. Chris wants to wrestle in front of family in Vegas. Shady says his end goal is to get to Wrestlemania. Natalya says she had fun putting the match with them together. Nat tells them that the coaches want to see a story. Chris says Nat was the best legend. Nat then takes Chris down and hits punches and he says she's a threat. Nat says intensity, aggression and selling never go out of style. Shady says Nat understands him best of all the coaches. Nat says she enjoyed working with them. We see clips of them working on the match more. Nat tries to get Chris to sell with his face while in a hold.

Chris Island vs Shady Elnahas

Chris has been fired by WWE already.

They lock up. Shady shoves him and Chris piefaces him. Shady hits armdrags and backs him up on the ropes where he tries to hit him. Chris does a big double leg slam and Shady goes for an armbar. Chris runs the ropes. Shady spinning back elbows him then hits more mounted shots.

Shady is pulled into the buckles and Chris pounds on him from behind. Chris throws him on the floor. Tyra Mae Steele is playing the role of a fan and Chris gets in her face. Chris backbreakers him for 2. Chris pulls his arms back then double underhook suplexes him for 2.

Chris kicks Shady in the back and chinlocks him. Shady ankle locks him. Chris rolls him forward then backrolls him for 2. Shady then does a grounded choke and Chris backrolls through it. Chris hits punches to the gut. Shady slingblades him and hits lariats. Shady spin kicks him in the face and gets a 2 count on him. Chris nearly pushes him into the ref. Chris goes for a gutwrench, Shady escapes it and rolls him up for the pin.

Thoughts:
I liked this one. It looked like a modern day Natalya match and I tend to like those. It was aggressive, they looked like they were going to hurt each other and it was the best match we've seen of either guy on this show.

Natalya talks to the boys after. She says she was proud and it was good. She says they did great and was impressed. Nat says Bubba loved it too.

Matt Bloom didn't like the match. He says it got clunky and says simple does well is always better than complicated done decently. Chris says it was Nat's first time meeting him but Bloom has been seeing him for 2 years. Bloom says the match looked dangerous. Shady says he felt safe but says if the boss tells you something, you have to acknowledge it and do better. Bloom says Shawn wants action but it's not constant movement. Bloom says they needed to let things breathe. Chris says he felt like it was a little rushed and says he didn't lead like he should have. Bloom says everything stopped after the ankle lock. Bloom says things have to make sense. Shady says it's subjective and everyone has an opinion but he leads his own mind. Chris says he's been himself and felt the best he has ever had. He says he sees NXT in his future.

Thoughts: See, I feel bad for Chris in moments like this. He does bad, he gets crapped on then he does good and he gets crapped on too. Maybe there was some merit there but it really does feel like they don't like him there or want him to succeed and he should just leave...because they are going to fire him anyway (and they do).

Owens talks to Lyons and Masyn. Jazz helps work on the match. Masyn says it'll be her first match in front of the NXT crowd and she'll be a heel. She'd rather do things she's comfortable with. Lyons says she likes to lead. Owens says Lyons is good and she has that intangible where you either have it or don't. Masyn wonders what could possibly go wrong in the match?

Nikkita Lyons vs Masyn Holiday

We are at the NXT Arena for this. Masyn Holiday has already left WWE.

Lyons dances and wants Mas to dance. Mas dances back. They lock up. They lock up and Mas backs her up in the corner. Mas ducks kicks and backs off in the corner. Mas forearms her and chops her. Lyons armdrags her and hits corner spears.

Lyons flying headscissors her out. Lyons bends over the middle rope and Mas butt drops her. Lyons' head is banged off the mat and she jumps further away for a splash. Mas chokes her on the ropes and dances at the ref. Mas running back splashes her and hits back elbows. Mas suplexes her for 2.

Mas stomps her and butt drops her. Mas misses a splash. they trade shots. Lyons chest kicks her and hits shots to the body. Lyons suplexes her and kips up. Lyons corner flying forearms her. Lyons then hits a reverse bronco buster on her. Lyons spinning high kicks her in the face then tiger drivers her. Lyons pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Masyn's not a face and they shouldn't try to make her one. She didn't do that much heel stuff here. Lyons is also better a heel as she just has too much edge on her to be a face.

Owens puts over Masyn being annoyed at the fans cheering Lyons. He says the selling was good too. Owens thought it was really good. Owens does a funny line where he says it looks like the girls have been wrestling for 10 years when they haven't...but he doesn't know that Lyons has been wrestling for 8 years.

Masyn says she feels overwhelmed and she can't wait for the adrenaline rush next time. Owens tells Lyons they want her to appear at WWE World. She did wrestle there but neither of her two matches actually aired during WWE World broadcasts. Check my WWE 2026 list to see what they did air: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2024/04/wwe-review-list.html#2026

Lyons tears up and said it's been a while since she heard a reaction like that. She says she lost faith when she was hurt but it was nice to see the people believe in her.

Overall thoughts: Bright/Linton was short and acceptable. Island/Shady was the best match either guy had done so far on WWE LFG. The main was acceptable but the heel/face roles were all wrong there. We also our usual segment where Chris Island gets nitpicked to death. The show was fine overall but as usual, there's nothing you really need to see here.
