New Japan Pro Wrestling 7/21/2026 G1 Climax 36 Day 4

New Japan Pro Wrestling 7/21/2026 G1 Climax 36 Day 4

Taisei Nakahara & Toru Yano vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo & Ren Narita)

The faces get hit before the bell rings. Tai hits forearms on Ren and running forearms him. Tai double axe handles him and running forearms him down. Ren slams him and throws him out. Tai's head is banged off the apron then he is slammed on the floor.

Ren eye rakes Tai. Togo punches Tai then back elbows him down. Togo sentons him. Togo slams him. Togo chinlocks him. Ren throws him down by the hair and half-crabs him. Tai chops him then dropkicks him.

Ren stomps Tai. Yano trips Ren from the outside. Yano atomic drops Togo then takes a turnbuckle pad off. Tai is sent into the exposed buckles. Togo holds onto Yano on the ropes. Ren crabs Tai and pins him.

Thoughts: It was mostly a one-sided beatdown of Tai here. I don't even think Yano got legally tagged in here. There was nothing to see in this one.

Masatora Yasuda & Yuya Uemura vs. Unbound Co. (Daiki Nagai & Drilla Moloney)

Drilla and Yuya go at it. Yuya armlocks him and Drilla trips him. Yuya armlocks him then takes him over by the arm. Yuya side headlocks him and Drilla headscissors him. Drilla armdrags him then Yuya armdrags him back.

Yuya goes up and over then Drilla rolls him up for 2. Yuya rolls him up for 2 then armdrags him into an armlock. Masa comes in and chops DM. DM running corner spears Masa then backdrops him. Masa has his legs split. Nagai chops Drilla down.

Masa hits forearms on Nagai and is chopped down. Nagai punches and chops Masa then Masa dropkicks him. Masa and Drilla trade forearms. Masa shoulders him over for 2. Drilla spinebusters Masa for 2. Yuya gets in and hits forearms on Drilla. Yuya double chops him down.

Nagai top rope dropkicks Yuya then topes him outside. Masa running back elbows Drilla then Drilla pop-up powerbombs him. Drilla superkicks him and pins him.

Thoughts: They only got about 6 minutes here and did the best they could with it. What we got was fine for the limits it had but not much else. Drilla vs Yuya should be a different match and I'm interested to see how that works out.

Yuya and Drilla stare down and go head to head after.

United Empire (HENARE & Jakob Austin Young) vs. Unbound Co. (Gedo & OSKAR)

Os and Hen trade forearms and shoulder battle. Os facekicks Hen and shoulders him down. Os knees him in the gut and Hen chops back. Gedo gets in with Jake. Gedo kicks the middle rope into both opponents crotches. Gedo chokes Jake and hits punches. Hen then grabs Gedo and throws him out.

Hen and Os trade shots outside. Jake chokes Gedo with a shirt then chokes him with his hands. Jake spits on Os and back elbows Gedo. Gedo drops Jake with a shot. Hen flying kicks Os off the apron. Gedo takes running corner lariats and a running knee from Jake for 2.

Hen is sent into the rails outside. Gedo flatliners Jake for 2. Os knees Hen in the gut and throws him out. Hen full nelson's Gedo then Jake ddt's Gedo for the win.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to and Gedo took the loss as expected. Henare vs Oskar was the main feature here and that should be an interesting bout. This wasn't much of note.

Henare and Os fight after and go to the back.

United Empire (Callum Newman & Zane Jay) vs. TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Zack Sabre Jr.)

CN facekicks Hart off the apron then Zack facekicks Zane off the apron. CN and Zack trade forearms. CN takes a kick and double chops. Zane is euro'd then shouldered over. Hart elbow drops CN. CN gets double arm wringered then Hart is pulled over the top. CN facekicks Zack down.

Zack and CN miss shots on each other. Zack PK's CN's arm. Hart corner splashes and crossbodies Zane for 2. Hart sentons Zane and death valley drivers him to win.

Thoughts: It was a brief bout but what we got was fine. They kept it moving and interesting. It would have been nice to get a lot more of it.

G1 Climax 2026 Block A Match - Hirooki Goto vs. Jake Lee

Jake clean breaks him on the ropes and poses. Goto boots him. Goto shoulders him over. They trade forearms outside and Jake is sent into the rails. Goto misses a charge outside and gets dropped face first on the apron. Goto then gets dropped face first on a table. Jake clubs on him outside. Jake puts a glove on and puts his finger in Goto's mouth.

Jake boots Goto around and Goto running lariats him. Goto kicks Jake in the leg then backdrops him for 2. Jake and Goto trade forearms. Goto running lariats Jake down. Goto works on Jake's knee. Jake is forearmed off the apron. Jake then holds his knee outside and the ref checks on him. More refs come to check on Jake and Jakob Young gets Jake in the ring.

Goto stomps Jake while he's down. The ref stops Goto and Jake running facekicks Goto for the pin.

Thoughts: I had low expectations for this one and those weren't met. This was dumb with Jake faking an injury, the ref doing everything to stop Goto from pounding on him and Jake then using that to his advantage to win. This was a waste of my time.

G1 Climax 2026 Block A Match - Great-O-Khan vs. Ryohei Oiwa

Khan boots him before the bell and clubs him. Oiwa dropkicks him in the knee and elbows the knee. Oiwa is sent into the rails. Khan chairs him in the gut and back and the ref does nothing about it. Khan puts a chair on Oiwa and sits on it. Khan kneels on Oiwa and boots him in the head.

Oiwa swings at him and Khan trips him. Khan pump kicks him for 2. Oiwa ddt's him. Oiwa dropkicks him in the knee and running euros him for 2. Oiwa corner lariats him and brainbusters him for 2. Khan claws Oiwa's injured ribs then he dumps him over the top.

Khan sends Oiwa into the rails and seats in one throw. The ref tries to grab a chair from Khan and does. Khan then just grabs another chair and chairs it into Oiwa. Khan hits him in the injured ribs and pump kicks him. Khan then claws his ribs.

Khan punches him in the ribs for 2. Khan mongolian chops him then Oiwa mongolian chops him. Oiwa shoulders him over and backdrops him for 2. Oiwa sleepers him. Khwan pushes Oiwa's ribs into the exposed buckle then claw slams him on the exposed buckle. Oiwa pushes Khan into the exposed buckle then rolls him up and pins him.

Thoughts: Well, Khan was creative here. He found some interesting ways to work the injured ribs and Oiwa pulled off the upset in the end to win. I still wouldn't call it great but it was something different. I don't get why Khan wasn't DQ'd for the chair though.

Oiwa spinning lariats Kahn off the apron and into the rails after when Khan grabs the ref.

G1 Climax 2026 Block A Match - Konosuke Takeshita vs. Yuto-Ice

Ice waits for KT in the aisle and they trade forearms. KT is sent into the rails. They fight in the seats and Ice chest kicks him down. KT forearms Ice a few times. Ice drops him with a chest kick. They get in the ring and trade forearms.

Ice boots and foot chokes KT in the corner. They forearm each other. Ice slaps him and KT flying knees him. Ice is sent into the rails. KT ddt's Ice on the floor then ddt's him in the ring for 2. KT headscissors him.

They forearm each other. KT headbutts him and gets thrown backwards. Ice hits forearms, slaps and leg kicks. Ice boots KT in the corner and forearms him there. Ice running knees him. Ice hits chest kicks. KT hits forearms and lariats him down. KT brainbusters him for 2.

KT facelocks him. Ice hits forearms and KT elbows him in the neck. They trade forearms. Ice hits a forearm then goes down holding his shoulder. KT boots and forearms him. They trade forearms. Ice leg kicks him. KT backdrops him. KT spinning forearms him and Ice high kicks him.

KT forearms him and takes a low pump kick for 2. KT wheelbarrow germans him. KT running lariats him for 1. They slap each other. KT exploders him then running knees him for 2. KT pumping knees him. KT sits on his back and pulls back hard with a sleeper. Ice is out and KT wins.

Thoughts: It was mostly all forearms and kicks. Like a lot of Minoru Suzuki matches, all the strikes have to get you somewhere eventually or the match gets boring. The strikes didn't really progress enough for me. It was acceptable but it was wearing out it's welcome. And then after all the strikes, KT didn't even win with a strike.

G1 Climax 2026 Block A Match - SANADA vs. Yota Tsuji

Yota wristlocks him and San reverses it. San side headlock takeovers him, Yota does a headscissors and they stand off. Yota shoulders him over. San dropkicks him in the knee. Yota moves as San goes for a dive then San does the same. They go back in and San claps. They shake hands. San goes for a forearm and is lariated down.

Yota corner splashes him and supelxes him. Yota tries San's paradise lock but is booted away. Yota tilt-a-whirl side slams him. Yota chinlocks him. San hits elbows to the gut and punches. Yota forearms him and San dropkicks him in the knee. San dropkicks him. San magic screws him on the floor.

San throws Yota in. Yota does his curbstomp combo on him. Yota misses a corner charge and armdrags San. San dragon sleepers him, Yota escapes and San moonsaults into a grounded dragon sleeper on him. San top rope moonsaults Yota for 2. Yota avoids deadfall and blacks San's bridge pin attempt. San backrolls him for 2.

Yota hits a forearm, knee to the face and a curbstomp. Yota runs at him, catches San's hurricanrana and drops him. San hits deadfall for 2. San shining wizard's him from behind. San crabs him.

Yota does a reverse styles clash but San no sells it. San shining wizard's him. San misses a top rope moonsault and Yota spears him for 2. Yota is nearly pushed into the ref. San pop-up low blows him and deadfall ddt's him for the win.

Thoughts: I liked it. It didn't get enough time to be great but it was a fun match and San mostly wrestled clean outside of the finish. The two worked well together and it was one of Sanada's better performances lately. The first half of this was a little slow but it picked up.

G1 Climax 2026 Block A Match - Shingo Takagi vs. Oleg Boltin

Oleg side headlocks him. They shoulderblock battle. Shingo shoulders him over. Shingo elbow drops him and chinlocks him. Shingo suplexes him. They push each other and Oleg belly to belly suplexes him. Oleg shoulders him over.

They go out and Oleg's head is banged off the apron. Oleg is sent into the rails then Oleg lariats him outside. Oleg vader bombs him. Shingo ear claps him. They trade forearms. They chop each other. Shingo hits punches and chops on Oleg and drops him.

Shingo hiptosses him then suplexes him for 2. Oleg dropkicks Shingo. Oleg karelin's lifts him. Oleg corner splashes him. Oleg goes up top and is chopped.

Shingo headbutts him up top then superplexes him down. Shingo lariats him. Shingo goes for another and Oleg gets his lariat in first. They trade shots and Shingo lariats him down. Shingo hits made in japan for 2. Shingo hits downward elbows on Oleg then sliding forearms him. Oleg finlay rolls Shingo for 2.

Oleg samoan drops him. Oleg yanks him into an AA for 2. Shingo hurricanrana's him then Oleg lariats him. Shingo hits a snap suplex. They lariat each other at the same time. Shingo lariats Oleg's arm and Oleg grabs a choke on him.

Shingo backdrops him. Shingo running lariats him. Shingo hits a burning dragon for 2. Shingo hits forearms and back elbows him. Shingo headbutts him. Oleg pop-up powerbombs him then holds on for another powerbomb. Oleg finlay rolls him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was the biggest win Oleg has had in the biggest match he has had. It was an okay match. They had a lot of hard lariats here and did a lot of chops and basic strikes. Oleg didn't quite show as much fire or do as much impressive stuff as he could have though and that made this not be as good as it could have been.

Oleg talks on the mic after in Japanese.

Overall thoughts: I liked the little we got of Yuya's and Zack's tags in the undercard and didn't care for the other two undercard matches. Goto/Jake was a waste of time. Khan was creative in how he worked Oiwa's ribs in his match and that match was something different. Takeshita/Ice was acceptable but it was a little too heavy on strikes. I liked Sanada/Yota and it was one of Sanada's better performances of the year. Shingo/Oleg was okay but it didn't really get to the next level and that's been the case for most of Oleg's matches. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as it was okay enough. Yota/Sanada was the match of the night.

TNA Xplosion 7/17/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/tna-xplosion-7102026.html

There was no Around the Ring with Gia Miller this week. The only new content is:

M By Elegance vs Shazza McKenzie

The Personal Concierge does the intro for M. He says he can't see anyone (he got his eyes misted a few weeks ago) but says he can still smell the stench of the fans.

They lock up and M backs her up in the corner. SM snapmares her and crucifixes her for 2. SM rolls her up for 2 counts. SM sunset flips her for 2. M superkicks her in the gut and is tripped. SM argues with Heather By Elegance outside. M superkicks SM and release germans her.

M boots SM in the corner. SM sweeps her and rolls her up for 2. M hip attacks her for 2. M boots her in the face. SM hits forearms and chops. SM boots her in the gut and forearms her down. SM flying knees her over the 2nd rope and hits chest kicks on her over the 2nd rope. M kneelifts her then cradle shocks her for 2.

SM cradles M for 2. SM split stunners her. SM yells at Mr. Elegance on the apron. M facekicks SM from the side. M coast to coast dropkicks M and pins her.

Thoughts: It was competitive with Shazza going for a lot of pins before going down. M had a good showing and was moving well here. This was fine for the amount of time it got.

Overall thoughts:
We only had one more match here and nothing else that new. The one match was fine but it was nothing you need to see. You could watch all the new content in 5 minutes here and I wouldn't recommend this one.

Dion and Shugars have to be separated after.

We go to the girls locker room. Lizzy Rain complains about Izzi Dame. Thea Hail says she can't get 30 seconds with Stone. Skylar Rae says she hasn't gotten anywhere since LFG and is going to start tonight. Jaida complains about Nattie and Thea tells Jaida to kick her @ss tonight.

She says she told Ken she would dominate the division when she's done but she's not done yet. She say vice city continues to grow. Lola says Ken said she saw a champ in her but Lola says she sees someone who needs validation in her. Ken says her title is validation. Lola says she got there fast and let's see how far she goes down.

Lola says she herself looks like a champ with or without the belt. Ken says there's not a girl she can't beat. Lola says she beat her once. Lola says Ken beat her in a match but can't beat her in a fight. Wren says she doesn't like where this is going. Ken says it's a perfect idea. Lola challengers her to an NXT Underground match on August 4th. Ken agrees. She say she will her in the Underground and says when she's done kicking her @ss, Lola can go back to shaking it.

We get a video on Tony D vs Naraku.

Hank runs in and hits shots on KC. KC rams him into the corner. KC forearms him. Hank boots him in the gut. KC back elbows him. Hank knees him in the gut then hip attacks him on the ropes. Hank running facekicks him.

Hank sends KC into the post and flying forearms him in the ring. KC pounces Hank then alabama slams him for the win.

Thoughts: It was short and fast paced. I thought it went well and it was an explosive little match here. KC won as expected.

Tank hits KC after. KC sends him into the apron edge and slams him on the commentary table. KC grabs steps, EK Prosper kicks him from behind and double stomps him into the steps. KC takes a double team slam from Hank and Tank then a top rope moonsault from EK.

She says she can aspire to be a legend like her on a soft b!tch like Jiada. Thea says she doesn't mind Jaida but doesn't like her. Lyons then takes Thea's towel and Thea says she hopes Jaida punches Nat's teeth in.

We see video from last night. Shiloh Hill visits Danhausen's lair. Dan asks if he's here to get experimented on. Hill says Tristan Angels is obnoxious and he smashed his tooth. He says he wants a replacement tooth. Dan shots off his tooth collection and gives him one. He says he will cost him a lot of money. He asks if he will take crypto currency. Dan accepts it and says he will figure it out.

Jaida Parker vs Nattie

JP takes her down and pounds on her. Nat rolls JP up for 2. Nat side headlock takeovers her. JP slaps Nat. JP shoulders her over. JP yanks on Nat's arm. Nat upkicks her and they slap each other. JP lariats her down twice. JP lays her on the 2nd rope and chops her. JP step up butt drops her there. Nat's buddies Karmen and Lyons pull her out. JP baseball slides Karmen and Nat chopblocks JP.

We go to PiP break and return. Nat spinning lariats her for 2. Nat dragon screws JP over the 2nd rope. Nat bangs JP's leg off the mat. JP samoan drops her. They trade forearms. JP falcon arrows him for 2. Nat is laid on the 2nd rope and JP misses her butt press. Nat michinoku drivers her for 2.

Nat sharpshooters JP. JP crawls out of the ring to break it. Nat is sent into the steps. JP then sharpshooters Nat. Lyons wants to throw the towel in and Karmen won't let her. The towel is thrown in and Nat loses.

Thoughts: Not sure about the ending here. I didn't think Nat took enough punishment for that and Lyons isn't exactly the caring type. I liked it otherwise though and would have liked to have seen more of it. It was an okay bout here with them showing aggression and Nat working the knee.

We get another Tony D'Angelo vs Naraku feud recap video.

Stone and Kelani Jordan talk. KJ complains about getting pinned and says she was robbed. Stone says it's borderline and says the ref's decision is final. KJ says she was screwed over once again.

We go to break and return. SS chops Niko and throws him out. Niko is up top and SS overhead throws him down. SS atomic drops him twice then hits chops. SS lariats and stomps Niko. Niko headbutts him then lifts him into a spinning ddt for 2.

Niko boots him. Niko jumps off the apron and is hit. SS sends him into the post and bangs his head off the steps. SS grabs a chair. The ref stops him. Izzi Dame gets on the apron and Lizzy Rain attacks Izzi. SS then pretends SS hit him with the chair. The ref DQ's Niko.

Thoughts:
It wasn't anything too special. Like the Darkstate split, this story didn't get over that much. They just did a lot of the basics here and it wasn't too exciting.

Niko goes to attack Shawn after but refs stop him.

Stone asks Kam Hendrix what his health status is. Kam says he had a setback and is at 62%. Myles Borne and Tavion Heights come in. Borne asks if him and Tav can get a tag title match. Kam says they can't and says Borne needs to defend his title. Borne says he will put his title on the line next week if they can get a tag title match. Stone says he needs an opponent and Borne says he was thinking Kam but he's not able to. Kam says he just got a text from the NXT medical staff and he's cleared. Stone then sets up the matches.

We get a short Reina Volcan video.

This is Reina Volcan's TV debut. Sky deserves better than this.

Sky upkicks RV. RV misses an elbow drop. Sky hits RV in the gut. Sky flying shoulders her then la mistica facebusters her for 2. Sky is swept off the ropes. RV torture racks Sky and submits her.

Thoughts: They didn't do anything wrong but RV didn't really stick out in any way. She does pretty basic stuff and she's really only notable for being wide. Sky lost as expected.

Robert Stone is eating popcorn chicken in the back. Shiloh Hill comes in and Stone offers him some. Stone makes a joke about Dan cursing him. Hill says Angels tried to embarrass him and vengeance consumes him. He says Angels needs to be put down. Stone sets up Hill vs Angels for next week. Hill then takes all 7 boxes of Stone's popcorn chicken in this obvious advertisement.

We see someone arrive in a car.

WWE NXT Title - Street Fight - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs Naraku

They ignore the intros and Nar red mists him to start. Tony is lariated over the top and sent into the LED board rails and steps. Nar hits Tony in the body with the steps for 2.

Nar throws weapons into the ring. Nar chairs him in the gut and back. Nar slams him. Tony is suplexed onto a 2x2 set of chairs. Tony back body drops him on a chair. Tony pours water in his eyes to get rid of the mist then he drives Nar into the rails.

We go to PiP break and return. Tony baseball slides a ladder into Nar. Tony then throws a ladder at Nar's head from the ring. Nar kicks him in the gut and TD catapults Nar face first into a trash can between the buckles. Tony is crotched on the top rope and Nar lariats him down.

Tony hits Nar in the gut with a ladder outside. Nar STO's Tony on the floor. Nar slams Tony through the commentary table. Nar gets a 2 count on him in the ring. Tony blocks Nar's red mist with his hands. Tony rubs his hands in Nar's eyes. Tony hits Nar with a kendo stick then crotches him with it. Tony chokes Nar through a table while standing on steps. Tony wins.

Thoughts: Tony was dumb not to have any kind of preparation for the mist. He had to know it was coming. It was an okay hardcore match but nothing you would remember. Tony blocking the mist at the end was the coolest spot in this one. Thankfully Tony won, though neither he or Naraku are that hot right now.

Mike Santana's music hits and he arrives in the crowd. Mike look at Tony and Tony holds his title up at him.

Overall thoughts: I liked the opener. Keanu/Hank was a decent bout as Jaida/Nattie was okay. Shawn/Niko was average. Reina Volcan debuted, squashed Skylar Rae and didn't impress. The main was an okay hardcore match but nothing too memorable. The big news coming out of this was Mike Santana arriving in NXT. I don't know where NXT is going to fit all these people in as the roster keeps growing yet no one is leaving and NXT is not getting more TV time. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as this show was fine overall.

CMLL 7/17/2026 Viernes Espectacular

Rey walks up the buckles, rope walks and drop down springboard headscissors him. Blue top rope crossbodies Pos. Blue goes up and over and headscissors Pos. Blue reverse monkey flips Pos.

Blue 2nd rope monkey flips Mak. Blue flying headscissors Mak. Blue top rope plancha's Mak outside. Rey walks up the ropes and blind reverse diving headscissors Pos. Rey walk up the buckles, rope walks and top rope moonsaults Pos outside.

Mak is sent into the rails. Pos takes a codebreaker and then submits to Rey's polling armbar.

Thoughts: It was a good opener. Rey had a really good night. His walk up the ropes springboard blind reverse headscissors was a new one then he hit a cool walk up the buckles rope walk moonsault outside. Poseidon had a good night here too. This couldn't have gone much better than it did and was a huge success.

15 Minute Lightning Tag Team Match - La Ola Negra (Espanto Jr. & Raider) vs. Atrapasuenos (Espiritu Negro & Rey Cometa)

I don't know what the point of this being 15 minutes is since it probably wasn't going that long anyway.

Raid and Negro go at it. They each trade holds. Raid goes for a pin and they stand off. Raid takes him down and Negro armdrags him twice. Negro spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. Raid dropkicks him out then topes him.

Rey top rope crossbodies EJ. EJ shoulders him over. Rey dropkicks him. Rey snapmares EJ for 2. EJ corner lariats him. Negro comes in and springboard dropkicks EJ. Rey diving headscissors EJ outside from the ramp. Negro springboard diving armdrags Raid inside then does another one. Rey and Negro double tope Raid together.

EJ trips Rey and Negro at the same time. Raid then running kicks Negro. Negro's head is banged off the buckles. Raid kicks Negro in the crotch. EJ hits Rey from behind and bites him. Rey is put in the electric chair and Raid kind of just pops him up backwards. Rey lands hard on his neck for 2.

Rey is thrown out. Rey and Negro hit springboard splashes on theels and get a 2 count on the dogpile pin. Rey and Negro then hit hurricanrana's for 2 counts. Rey's team hits dropkicks then stereo tope con hilos outside. Raid clubs on Negro's chest then 2nd rope superplexes him for 2.

Raid misses a corner charge. Negro wastelands EJ. Rey's team goes up top together. Rey top rope moonsaults out while Negro top rope swantons EJ in the ring for 2. Negro misses an apron cannonball outside. Rey misses a corner splash. EJ 2nd rope poisonrana's Rey. Raid one arm electric chair drivers Rey and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was alright. As always, Negro's older and doesn't move as well but he does what he can. The faces flew around enough here and the heels did the basics.

Olympia, Persephone & Sanely vs. Johnnie Robbie, Tessa Blanchard & Thunder Rosa

JR and Pers go at it. They trade armholds and JR armdrags her. JR armdrags her into an armlock. JR kicks her and cradles her off a suplex attempt for 2. JR pump kicks Pers out. JR flying headscissors Sane then hits running facekicks on her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. The girls mostly had a clean night here and the faces comeback section near the end worked out alright.

MLW World Middleweight Title Match - Templario (c) vs. Ikuro Kwon

We have a WCW 1991 Fabulous Freebirds situation here. MLW tapes Fusion and it is very far behind. KUSHIDA is currently the champ on MLW Fusion actually defended against Templario on Fusion this week, but Temp is currently the champ. Titan is with Temp here and Okumura is with Kwon.

Temp crossbodies him after escaping a sunset flip. Temp is shouldered over and they try to dropkick each other at the same time. They then stand off. Kwon hits forearms then Temp forearms back. Temp enzugiri's him from the apron. Temp springboards into Kwon's superkick. Kwon stomps him.

Thoughts: It was average. Temp didn't get enough in and it was a slower paced match all throughout. They really needed to pick this up in the 2nd half and didn't.

Thoughts: It was average. The heels mostly dominated this and the faces didn't get enough in to make it exciting. The second and third falls didn't get much time.

Dragon Rojo Jr. talks on the mic after. He challenges him to be a technico next match and he can show him what a true rudo is.

Los Infernales (Averno, Euforia & Mephisto) vs. El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada, Mistico & Neon)

MD goes up and over Euf then corkscrew headscissors him. MD flips to the ramp andhnspring kicks Euf there. MD is popped up into a flying headscissors on Euf. MD spinning headscissors Av out.

Euf boots Md over. Mist top rope double crossbodies the heels. Mist flying headscissors a heel then springboard diving headscissors Euf. Mist walks up the buckles and Av trips him there. Mist is stomped on by the heels and thrown out.

Av sends Mist into the rails. MD is popped up into a kick and Mist is crotched on the rail top. Mist is sat up top and Av rips Mist's mask. The heels stomp Mist in the corner then triple stomp him in the middle of the ring.

Mist topes Av then MD and Neon hit stereo tope con hilos out. Av avoids Mist's tornillo and Mist crashes into the floor. Mist is sent into the rails and rammed crotch first into the post. The heels then unmask Mist and get DQ'd. Mistico's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: The finish was kind of dumb as the heels seemingly had control over Mist and then threw it away for the unmasking. It was good otherwise. We got a lot of flying, the heels didn't get too long of a beatdown on the faces and it ended at about the right time.

Mist is put on a stretcher after. The heels beat up Mist on the ramp while he's on the stretcher. The heels celebrate.

The announcer then close the show.

I also wanted to mention that Dave Meltzer was shown here as he was in attendance for this.

Overall thoughts: The opener was good. The tag team lightning match was alright. The women's match beat my expectations and wasn't bad at all. Templario/Kwon was average as was Yutani's tag. The main was good minus the finish. I'd give this a lower 6 out of 10 as it was an okay show overall. The main was the best match of the night.

We go to break. El Hostil Jovan does a promo. He says he showed Brandon The Skater what he's made of all over PR and took his Jr. Title. He says he will show him once again why he's the best and most complete junior in PR. He says he will prove he is the best again.

Wilfred Rivera does a promo. He says he will face El Informante for the TV Title. He says they don't talk to informants where he's from. He says he will let his passion and wrestling talent speak for him. He says he will let his fists talk to him. He says he hopes Informante is ready.

We return to the match. The girls trade forearms. Nat superkicks her and Ama superkicks back. Nat running knees her. They double clothesline each other. Ama hits forearms. Ama fallaway slams Nat. Ama pump kicks her for 2.

Nat spinning heel kicks her in the corner for 2. Nat swings at Tigresa and Tigresa slaps her. Ama spears Nat and pins her.

Thoughts
: Amazona won as expected here as she's full time, it's the big show and Nat is the guest. It was average. Nat didn't have the greatest looking offense here in this one.

Lou Forza does a promo. Lou says he will be quick and invite us to the show tonight. He says we will witness the failure of Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe. He says they will fail and says it's easy and simple. He says his opponents will fall at their feet and says nobody can stop The Perfect Aura.

Special Ref: Orlando Toledo - If Pelayo loses, he is suspended from ref duties for 90 days - Pelayo Vazquez vs El Informante

They already spoil the result and say Pelayo is back in the Dominican Republic. PV throws his shirt in Toledo's face then Toledo and Info stomp on the shirt. The announcers talk about the new WWC Premium Youtube channel, but it actually doesn't exist yet if you go to Youtube. PV armdrags him twice.

Info hits him in the gut and chops him. PV slingshot sunset flips him and Toledo just moves Info out of the pin attempt. PV goes to hit Info, Toledo grabs PV and Info hits PV.

We go to break and return. La Amenaza Bryan does a promo. He talks about the 3-way match. He says we are tired of listening to Joe Bravo's rambling and says his nice words don't win titles. He says Xavant is a lost soul. He says he is told all these big things about him but what does he care? He says he has a chance to become champ tonight and won't waste it. He says there will be a new champ tonight.

Xavant does a promo. Xavant tells us to buy ringside tickets for tonight' show and says he has to be on the lookout for all the foreigners in WWC. He says when he defends the PR Title, he defends it as if it was his homeland. He say he will fight with all his heart and persevere until he succeeds.

We return from break. PV cradles Info and Toledo doesn't count it. Info and PV chop each other. Info boots PV then slaps him around. PV gets some shots in and topes the other Informante outside. Informante then nails hi partner on a tope con hilo when PV moves.

PV goes after Toledo next. Info grabs PV from behind. Toledo tries to hit Toledo but nails Info. PV dropkicks Toledo. The other Info full nelson's PV on the apron. El Paparazzi comes out and beats up the other Informante and sends him to the back. PV superkicks Info then top rope splashes him. There's no ref to count the pin so another comes out. Toledo pulls that ref out and stomps him.

Info low blows PV. PV holds onto the ropes, Toledo kicks his hand away and Info rolls up PV for the pin.

Thoughts: It was all BS as expected here. Pelayo was really dumb in kayfabe to agree to this and paid for it. I didn't really enjoy this that much as Pelayo was basically fighting off Informante and Toledo all match long.

Abel Durant talks about Summer Madness tonight. We get a video on the Orlando Colon vs Ray Gonzalez feud with Carlito and Chicano talking.

Abel talks about going to San Antonio and says Ray Gonzalez's son was attacked there. We then see clips of Alberto El Patron vs Ray Gonzalez. Alberto does a promo and says Ray Gonzalez is corrupt. Al says he's the greatest of all time and changed the industry. Al asks if Ray will need 20 men or a corrupt ref to beat him and tells him to watch out tonight.

Ray Gonzalez does a promo. He says he has a message for Chicano, Orlando Colon and Carlito Colon. Ray says this is just the beginning. He says each of them will pay for what they did. He says at Summer Madness, he's facing Alberto El Patron. He says Al keeps talking trash and saying things that are low for an athlete like him. He says he needs to show more respect. He says he's a great fighter but they have unfinished business to settle. Ray says they will settle it at summer Madness. He tells him to come prepared to survive as he is coming to break that dirty mouth of his. He says he will show him some respect and will checkmate him. We saw this already.

Abel then talks about Zcion RT1 vs Lightning. We see clips of Lightning attacking him in the bathroom.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says Lightning made the worst mistake of his life and pressed the panic button. He says he gave him one of the greatest battles and defeats in his life. He says there's a war and says Lightning crossed the line. He says Lightning must pay the price. He tells him he will have to knock him out of the race to become Universal champ. He says he's coming to rip out Lightning's soul later tonight. He says he is the ultimate leader and the revolution.

We get clips of an Andrade El Idolo vs Carlito match that is probably old.

El Paparazzi and Pelayo Vasquez talk in the bathroom. Papa says he was looking for him and he knows what's on his mind. Papa says there's always a way out. Papa tells him not to worry and says let's talk to the committee about this. Pelayo doesn't believe it. Papa tells him to calm down and says they will solve this.

Axel and Abel then shill tickets for tonight's show. They then tells us to tune in tomorrow.

Overall thoughts: There were 2 new matches here. Markova/Amazona was average. Pelayo/Informante was mostly BS as the heels screwed Pelayo. There was also a lot of last minute hype for tonight's show here. This was average overall and I'd give it a 5 out of 10.

Thoughts: I was a little surprised The Vision won here which isn't a good thing. Bron did win but being in this was a step down for him. The match was fine with a lot of flying s expected.

The Vision beat up Lee after. Alpha Academy come down and beat upon The Vision. Tozawa topes Bron and Otis slams down AT. Max slaps Otis. Otis lariats Bron and corner splashes Bron/AT. He then splashes both together and lariats AT over the top. Bron spears Otis outside. AT forearms Tozawa down. Bron then hits a hard spear on Otis.

Judgment Day grab Danhausen in the back and want their money. Dan says to let him go and he will find it. Dom says he has 30 seconds or they will break his neck.

We get a video on Big Cass with headlines showing his release. He says even if you reach the top, you have no idea how far you can fall.

Danhausen comes out. He says he thought he took care of Judgment Day at SNME but they still want their money back. He says he doesn't want the money but doesn't want Judgment Day to have it. He says let's give it to the fanhausen's.

Judgment Day comes out and says to give them the money. Dan says he has one thing to say and curses them. Judgment Day stomp Dan and Liv hits Dan. Joe Hendry comes out and sends JD out. Joe fallaway slams Dom. Liv takes Dan's sack with the money. The heels are sent out and they head to the back.

We get another Seth vs Roman video.

Judgment Day, Hendry and Dan argue in the back. Adam Pearce interrupts. JD look at the money and it's fake. Oba Femi shows up behind JD and asks whose bag it is. It seemingly belongs to Oba. Adam says they should settle this now between JD and Oba. Dom says this isn't fair. Adam says Dom can face Hendry tonight.

Oba Femi vs JD McDonaugh

JD doesn't want this match and Adam tells JD to get in the ring. Hendry and Dan then grab Dom and JD and throw them in. Oba double lariats Dom and JD then throws Dom out. JD boots Oba in the gut. Oba back body drops him. Oba running corner euros him then running euros him down. Oba backdrop throws JD. Oba sitout last rides him and wins.

Thoughts: It was just a short squash as it should have been. The premise to this was amusing.

Oba says he's sick of the BS in the camera and says the real stuff is at Summerslam.

LA Knight and Royce Keys talk in the back but we can't hear them.

Solo Sikoa comes out. He says he's not supposed to be here but he has a proposition to make. He tells Seth Rollins to come out. Seth comes out. Seth welcomes him and asks what he can do for him. Seth asks if they are talking or fighting.

He says he knows what they will do as he was a part of it. He says they will make sure Seth has no chance at Summerslam. Solo says it doesn't have to be like that.

Solo says he can watch Seth's back at Summerslam. Seth says to let him think about it. Solo stops him from walking away. Solo says the plan will work and he can do the same thing Seth did for Cody at Mania in the past.

Jacob Fatu comes out. Solo exits and Fatu says he knows what he has to do. Fatu says he will dogwalk him. Seth then superkicks Fatu. Seth leaves and Fatu gets up.

We see clips of Chad Gable talking to Penta at the Summerslam Kickoff. Chad says he will take the title and Penta says he will prove why he is champ.

Ethan Page and Rusev vs Penta and Chad Gable

The faces get hit and stomped to start. Page facekicks Penta for 2. Penta takes a double suplex and Rusev corner splashes Penta. Page hits mounted shots on Penta. Penta hits kicks on his opponents. Chad top rope diving double lariats his opponents. Page is lariated out and Rusev back body drops Penta on the apron. Penta is sent into the steps.

Rusev stomps Page's back. Chad ankle locks Rusev and submits him.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag as expected. It was nothing particularly memorable but I had few issues with it. I don't like Rusev losing over Page but Rusev hasn't won a lot lately.

We get another Seth vs Roman video.

Seth Rollins dares Jacob Fatu to hit him in the back. He says Fatu is under strict orders not to lay a finger on him. Paul Heyman does a video and talks Brock Lesnar. He says he was told not to use the word "violence" about Hell in a Cell and asks how he can do that. He says the cell is unforgiving and talks about the violence. He says Oba is overrated and says Brock has never lost in Hell in a Cell. He says Oba had the best rookie year in WWE since Brock.

He says Oba can't beat Brock in HIAC. He says Oba's rookie year won't go down like everyone thinks. He says it goes down in history as it comes to a violent end at the hands of Brock Lesnar.

Joe Hendry vs Dominik Mysterio

Dom clubs and boots Joe in the corner. Joe shoulders him over and hiptosses him. Joe euros and headbutts Dom. Joe then stomps him. Joe delay suplexes Dom. Dom boots him off the ropes and sends Joe out. Dom's tope is caught and Joe drops him onto the commentary table. Liv Morgan sends Joe into the post. Danhausen comes out and Liv drops him with a forearm. We go to break and return.

Dom chinlocks Joe and gets on his back with it. Joe suplexes him. Joe hits punches and fallaway slams Dom. Joe spinning lariats Dom for 2. Dom tornado ddt's Joe. Danhausen and Iyo Sky ride out in Dan's car. Iyo and Liv fight and Iyo sends her into the apron edge. Iyo top rope dropkicks Liv. Iyo apron crossbodies Liv. Dan gets in the ring and reverse ddt's Dom. Joe then pins Dom.

Thoughts: We had a lot of interference from Liv here. It was acceptable. I felt like both Joe or Dom could have won this one.

We see clips of CM Punk piefacing Cody Rhodes at Summerslam Kickoff.

Joe Hendry and Danhausen will do a concert next week which should be something.

LA Knight talks before his match.

LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu

He asks if he just saw Solo Sikoa come out here and says Solo is now talking about helping Seth Rollins after LA said it was hard to trust him. He says Seth vs Roman at Summerslam makes him sick. He says he's everything Roman wanted to be and everything people in the back wanted Roman to be. He says Solo is focused on the wrong thing. LA says it's going too far to trust Seth. he says they will destroy Bloodline at Summerslam.

He says Fatu's Mortal Kombat music will play soon and he will test his might. He says Fatu can't stop LA Knight. He says he has the cure for Fatu's shakes and it's him smacking him back to factory settings.

We join this in progress. They trade punches. LA flying lariats him. They trade more shots. LA hits a bunch of punches and corner spears. Fatu drop LA with a shot. Fatu's leg is banged off the post. LA clips Fatu. Fatu boots him out and topes him.

LA bangs Fatu's head off the commentary table. Fatu sends LA backwards into the steps. Fatu goes into the post when LA moves. Fatu's head is banged off the steps. LA flying lariats him off the apron.

We go to PiP break and return. Fatu does a trapezius hold to him. LA hits punches and takes an uppercut and a headbutt. Fatu misses a splash and is neckbreakered off of it for 2. LA goes up top and is superkicked onto there. Fatu elbow drops him on the top rope and gets a 2 count.

LA hits punches on the buckles. LA jumps up to the top and superplexes him down. Jimmy Uso comes out. Solo Sikoa gets behind him and hits him. Fatu topes Solo. LA hits punches on Fatu in the ring. LA hits a BFT. Jimmy Uso distracts the ref. Royce Keys then lariats Jimmy and throws him over the commentary table.

Jey Uso comes out and superkicks Keys three times. Jey dumps keys over the rail. LA dropkicks Jey through the ropes. Fatu superkicks LA then pop-up samoan drops him. Fatu double jump moonsaults LA and pins him.

Thoughts
: Loses Always Knight dropped another one here. Nobody needed to lose here and both could have avoided it, but they did it anyway. There was a lot of outside fighting in this and no great logic before the interference. It went okay enough though.

Solo attacks Fatu after and The Uso's take out Solo. Keys double lariats The Uso's. Keys and Fatu trade shots and Keys spinebusters Fatu. The Uso's double superkick Keys and 3D him. LA gets an edge over the heels and Fatu tongan death drip's LA. Jey, Jimmy and Fatu hit corner hip attacks on LA. Jey top rope splashes LA.

Overall thoughts: The women didn't wrestle here (and Liv/Dupri were the only girls we even saw) and we had a lot of talking on this show. You could have skipped this one and not missed too much as next week's Raw is the go-home show and that'll be the one to watch. The show was okay overall and had a lot of decent wrestling. I'd give this a 6 out of 10, but it was nothing too memorable. The main was the match of the night.

WWE LFG 7/19/2026 Season 3, Episode 13

WWE LFG 7/19/2026 Season 3, Episode 13

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7122026-season-3-episode-12.html

Bubba has Nathan Cranton vs Jaime Garcia. Bloom wants NC to work on being a heel and wants JG to work on how to sell. Bloom says the Cole/Garcia match wasn't good and Bubba says it crumbled.

Booker T talks to Harley Riggins and Tate Wilder. HR wants to give him a wet willie and be a high school bully. Tate says Booker shut it down and Booker says it's a bunch of sh!t. HR tries to do the wet willie spot and Booker says no.

Harley Riggins vs Tate Wilder

We are at the Evolve arena for this. They lock up and Tate side headlock takeovers him. HR side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Tate dropkicks him and armdrags him. Tate top wristlocks him. HR knees Tate in the gut in the corner. HR kicks him in the back and chest.

Tate slips out of a slam and rolls him up. HR lariats him for 2. HR pounds on him. Tate swinging neckbreakers him. Tate goes up top and HR superplexes him down for 2. Tate suplexes him. Tate hits a top rope moonsault and pins him.

Thoughts: I'm sure this was probably clipped as it wasn't long. What we got was acceptable but it was too brief.

Booker tells them not to think about moves after and says it's about doing little things. Booker says they did a good job. Tate says he could have done more with the selling. Bloom says this is all about characters with them and says the truest characters are the real life ones.

Natalya talks to Nikkita Lyons and Masyn Holiday. Nat says she loves NL and says she has a positive attitude. NL says she worked Nat in NXT and it was fun. Masyn says she loves NL. Nat wants NL to be rough on her to start and wants them to shove each other. Masyn says Nat showed them new holds and techniques. Nat says she likes getting hands on in the ring. Nat says Masyn has a great attitude. NL says Nat isn't afraid to get in your face and she loves it. NL says Nat shows you what she wants instead of telling you.

Nikkita Lyons vs Masyn Holiday

Masyn is already long gone from WWE.

NL backs her up on the ropes and faceshoves her. Mas shoves her back then armdrags her twice. Mas dropkicks her out. NL hits Mas outside then hits shots to the gut. NL hits corner spears. NL snapmares her and stands on her. NL butt drops her.

NL chinlocks her. Mas ankle locks her. NL forearms her down and hits mounted forearms for 2. NL cobra twists her. They double clothesline each other. They trade forearms and punches. NL hits corner spears. Mas backrolls her and elbows her over.

Mas flying shoulders her. Natalya says she's not buying it. NL corner spears Mas and rolls her. Both go for pin attempts. NL buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Mas then cradles her and pins her.

Thoughts
: It wasn't anything special. Masyn needed a better comeback and better offense. NL was the better wrestler here.

Masyn Holiday is on the ground after the match. NL joins her. They then get up. NL says wrestling cardio is hard. Nat says it's hard too and says 6 minutes in the ring is the same as a 45 min run. Nat says the match structure was fine and says Masyn needs a better comeback. She says Masyn needs to do more matches to learn better. Bloom says both girls looked tired and it affected the match. Bloom says it's not easy, but you gotta do your part and get in shape.

Bubba talks to Jaime Garcia and Nathan Cranton. He says JG didn't have a good week 2 weeks ago. Bubba tells JG to live in the moment and not worry about spots and moves. They want to tell the story of NC working JG's arm. Bubba yells at JG's selling and tries to explain selling to him.

Nathan Cranton vs Jaime Garcia

JG is on the buckles and NC throws him down. NC hits mounted shots on him and running knees him. NC stomps on him and the ref separates them. The bell rings and NC lariats JG. JG boots him out of the corner then claymore kicks him.

NC back elbows him and JG hits a corner spear. JG overhead throws him. JG's arm is pulled over the top rope on the exposed metal (NC pulled the pad off). NC pushes JG off the apron and into the commentary table.

JG rolls up NC for 2. NC leg kicks him and drops him arm first on the top rope. NC kneedrops and kicks the arm. NC faceshoves JG and JG hits shots to the body. JG misses a dropkick then hits one.

JG hits flying lariats on NC then hiptosses him over the top. JG spaceman plancha's him outside. JG top rope dropkicks him in the back for 2. JG is up top, NC knocks the ropes out under him and JG does down. NC does a curbstomp with the knee and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't love it. NC worked the arm early and then stopped. JG didn't sell that well as usual.

Bubba asks NC and JG how they thought they did. Bubba says they did a great and he says he enjoyed the match. We see TJP shaking hands with them.

JG says he wants to be on NXT and plays with the boom mic. NC says he's happy with the match. Johnny Russo gives him an envelope with his name. NC is pleased with it but doesn't say what it is. We then see him drive his car which says, "Tristan Angels" on it. He says it's the most important name in WWE history through a megaphone. He says he feels like he is angelic and wanted his name to reflect it.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual show. The coaches helped set up the match, the wrestlers performed it then they critiqued them on it after. Riggins/Tate was acceptable. Lyons/Masyn wasn't that good and neither was the main event. There was nothing you really needed to see here and I'd give it a 4 out of 10. It was a little below average.

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 7/19/2026

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 7/19/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/lm52-lucha-libre-mexicana-on-discovery_01436955291.html

Leobardo Magadon and Alberto Zamudio are on commentary.

The hosts talk to open the show.

We see clips from last week of various people talking to Dr. Wagner Jr. We then get clips of last week's trios main event.

Super Nova vs Mamba

Mamba kisses people in the crowd during his entrance.

They take a while to get going. Nova takes him down and Mamba armdrags him twice. Mamba side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Nova armdrags him and gets armdragged. Nova then backs off. Mamba trips him and bends over, making Nova run into him. Mamba tries it again and is dropkicked in the butt.

Nova stomps him then lariats him for 2. Nova chinlocks him. Nova punches him with a rope then whips him with it. The ref takes it from Nova. Nova basement dropkicks him. Nova hits a corner lariat. Nova misses a corner charge. Mamba dropkicks him out of the ring.

Mamba plancha's him off the apron. Mamba chops him outside and gets a 2 count on him inside. Mamba armdrags him off a hiptoss attempt. Mamba 2nd rope diving armdrags him then half crabs him. Nova ropebreaks. Nova kicks Mamba then jumping kicks him for 2.

Mamba wastelanda Nova then misses a top rope swanton. Nova la magistral's him but Mamba turns it into a double arm submission. Nova ropebreaks. Nova armdrags him into an armlock. Nova goes up and over then is slapped in the head. Mamba kisses the ref when Nova moves. Nova northern lights suplexes Mamba and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it that much. It had Mamba's exotico comedy and neither really did anything too flashy here. It got a bit more time than needed and was an average match.

Some of the girl wrestlers talk in the back. Sagitarius tries to touch the other girls' hair and has her hand pushed away. The two girls who got touched leave. Those two girls then run into the janitor and seem to say it's okay to go in to clean the room.

Sagitarius and Diosa Quetzal vs Estrellita and Lolita

Lolita and Estrellita became friends on the 6/28 episode when Sagitarius hit them.

DQ and Est slap hands. DQ rolls out of a lock up. DQ hammerlocks her and is side headlocked. Est armwringers her then DQ does the same.

Est armdrags her and pulls her arms back. DQ pushes down on Est's legs and Est reverse surfboards her. DQ pulls on her hair and Est snapmares her. Est kicks her in the back. DQ throws her down by the arm and crucifixes her for 2. They trade side headlocks. Est shoulders her over.

Loli gets in and armdrags DG. Sag gets in and wristlocks Loli. Loli armdrags her out of it. Loli armdrags her again then Sag armdrags her. They get in each other's faces and pull each other's hair. DQ breaks it up and all 4 girls fight. Sag boots Est over and chinlocks her. Est is tripped into the ropes and takes a 619.

Sag and DQ throw Loli by the hair. Sag superkicks Loli and DQ codebreakers Loli. Est walks up the buckles and twisting crossbodies her opponents. Loli hits a 2nd rope double dropkick. Sag and DQ go out. Est dropkicks DQ and dances. DQ boots her and dances. DQ then tiger feint armdrags her. Est springboard diving armdrags her.

Loli pulls Sag down by the hair. Sag boot her out of the corner and flips into an armdrag on her. Loli flying headscissors Sag then armdrags her. Sag is on the 2nd rope and Loli codebreakers her for 2. DQ stomps on Loli in the corner then basement dropkicks her. Loli basement dropkicks DQ. Est does a bad backslide. Est and Loli pick up stereo pins and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad, but the finish was botched a little. Estrellita had some sloppy moments here. It was a little faster paced than you would think.

The two girls who Sagitarius messed with earlier come out. They seem to join Sag's side and leave with her.

The announcers talk.

We go to the back. Lolita and Estrellita find that their stuff has been picked through by someone. They ask the janitor guy what happened. He says something about 2 girls but seems to defer blame otherwise.

The announcers then close the show.

Overall thoughts: There were two matches here. The opener was average. The women's match was a little better but nothing you need to see. There wasn't a lot going on otherwise except for Lolita and Estrellita having their bags messed with. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 and would say it was average. I wouldn't recommend this one.

AAA on Fox 7/18/2026

AAA on Fox 7/18/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/aaa-on-fox-7112026.html

We are in San Luis Potosi. JBL and Corey Graves are on commentary. Savio Vega and Rey Mysterio do some translations.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Rey Mysterio comes out to talk. He asks the fans to raise their hands if they've been fired before. He says the fans can't always fix the injustice but he's the GM and he can. He asks Andrea Bazarte to come out.

Andrea Bazarte comes in. Rey apologizes for all she has been through. He wants to compensate her and offers her a new contract. He says it's like the last one but with more money for the inconvenience. Andrea says she can't believe all the great moments she has experience since she has gotten here. She says AAA showed they are the best company in the world and have the best fans in the world. She accepts the new contract and thanks Rey.

Rey then talks about the vacant AAA Latin American Title. He says El Hijo de Vikingo will be out for a while. He says if you want something, you have to win and fight for it. He says here will be 4 three-way matches for those with La Parka vs Mecha Wolf vs Dragon Lee. He says it'll also be La Fiscal vs Cruz del Toro vs Psycho Clown. He says there will then be Omos vs Damian Priest vs Galeno del Mal. He says the first match will happen tonight. Omos and Dorian Roldan were watching this in the back and Omos thought he wouldn't be included.

AAA Latin American Title Qualifier - Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. vs Abismo Negro vs Texano Jr.

Negro pushes his opponents and is double chopped down. Doc armdrags and reverse headscissors Tex. Tex sweeps him and they stand off. Negro double lariats his opponents and throws Doc out. Negro slaps Tex. Negro back elbows Tex and spinebusters him. Negro tries to pin him with his feet on the ropes and gets caught.

Doc hits forearms on Negro and is dropkicked in the knee. Negro rips at doc's mask and Tex rolls up Dox. Doc rolls up Tex. Doc hits kicks on Tex and superkicks him out of the ring. Doc rope walk flip dives both opponents outside.

Doc goes up and over Negro then slaps him in the back of the head. Doc spinning forearms Negro and death valley drivers him for 2. Tex chops Doc and corner lariats him. Tex forearms Doc and kicks him in the back. Tex ushigoroshi backbreakers Doc for 2.

Tex and Negro trade chops. Negro backdrops him for 2. Doc and Negro trade shots. Doc pump kicks him. Negro goes for a tombstone and Tex breaks it up. Tex superkicks Doc out. Tex chops Negro and forearms him in the corner. Tex headbutts Negro on the buckles and superplexes him. Doc top rope splashes Negro on the landing for a 2 count.

Doc throws Tex out and Negro tries to pin Doc while using the ropes. Negro pulls at Doc's mask. Negro grabs knucks and hits Tex with them, knocking off the apron. Doc spinning forearms Negro and michinoku drivers him. Doc pins Negro.

Thoughts: I don't think this was designed for Texano Jr. to get the most over, but that's what happened as he had a good night and threw hard shots. None of these guys are big flyers, so it was a different type of three way than usual. It was fine enough but nothing too special. I can get why they like Doc so much on paper, but in real life, there's a lot of people who are better than he is.

La Hiedra and Laredo Kid talk to Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana. Lola and Iguana don't care. Hiedra says she figured out why she hasn't been able to win the Mixed Tag Titles. She says it's because she had the wrong luchador by her side. She says she has a champ and someone who can show her the ropes now. She says they are both from Laredo. She says they will win tonight and then says the next show can't happen without them. Lola tells Iguana that Hiedra is still in love with him. Iguana spits something out and says he can't blame her.

We see a hidden cam of Psycho Clown hugging The Psycho Circus in the back.

#1 Contender's to the AAA Mixed Tag Ttiles - La Hiedra and Laredo Kid vs Faby Apache and Joaquin Wilde

Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana are at ringside on Spanish commentary for this, but not English commentary.

JW and Kid lock up. Kid waistlock takedowns him and Kid flips out of an armdrag. JW spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. JW casadora armdrags him then tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. Hiedra and Faby get in.

Faby pulls her down by the hair and armdrags her. Faby low step up enzugiri's her. Faby hits mounted corner shots on Hiedra. Hiedra pulls Faby's hair and they forearm each other. Faby rolls he into a leglock then JW and Faby both put STF's on.

Faby slides out and Hiedra sends her into the steps. Hiedra hip attacks her against the steps. Faby rolls up Hiedra for 2. They double clothesline each other. JW and Kid get in. JW flips over Kid then JW tilt-a-whirl ddt's him. Kid slaps him and uppercuts him.

JW spin kicks him in the gut and is thrown down off a headscissors attempt. Kid basement dropicks him and hits mounted shots on him. Heidra pulls JW's hair in the corner and Kid slaps JW. Kid brainbusters JW for 2.

Kid topes Jw outside. Hiedra and Faby get in. Faby backslides Hiedra with a bridge for 2. Faby axe kicks Hiedra on the head. Kid trips Faby and Faby boots him hard in the head. Hiedra stunners Faby and pins her.

Thoughts: It went pretty well. I'm a long time fan of Faby and she's a real vet at what she does. This couldn't have gone much better than it did and I would have been fine with this going even longer. Hiedra's team won here as expected and they kind of have to win the Mixed Tag Titles or the story ends. This was an okay match.

Rey Mysterio does a press conference. He says he's surprised by Dominik Mysterio's actions vs Perros del Mal and he can't wait to see what happens. He talks about next week's Verano de Escandalo card. Rey says Octagon Jr. suffered a neck injury and has a long way to go to recover. He says he sends his best wishes to him and says a spot will be waiting when he returns.

Rey is asked if Triplemania is sold out and Rey says it's almost sold out. He says to buy your tickets for that and the 7/25 show soon.

Los Perros del Mal come out. They talk. Daga says he has been asked what happened to Perros del Mal many times. He says everyone would lose time finding the answer. He says everyone wants to become popular on social media instead of becoming dangerous. He says Perros weren't born to be in war with Mexico but were born because the business was become weak. He says that's why people like Damian 666 and Halloween reminded people how to fight and get what you deserve. Daga says that's why they are back. Daga says when you are a Perro, you will always be a Perro.

He says Angel and Berto were born to become stars and re two men that are accustomed to have what they deserve. He says Bronco Nima is the most dangerous man in the industry and doesn't have  to ask for permission for anything. He says if you look at Karmen Petrovic, you are screwed. Daga says he's one of the chosen and the last man that Perro Aguayo Jr. trusted to take the Perros flag.

Daga says they didn't come here to ask for opportunities or respect, they came to become the nightmare to everyone in the locker room. Daga says they are the ones that make the rules. He says he wants to see if Dominik Mysterio is brave enough to face them in person like he was on camera. Daga says he accepts Dom's challenge for the Dom/Grande vs Perros match. He says God forgives and Perros don't.

Dominik Mysterio comes out and El Grade Americano follows. Rayo and Bravo Americano get on the commentary table. Everyone fights in the ring and Karmen cheers on Perros from the outside. The show then ends.

Overall thoughts
: There were only 2 matches here and both were fine. I liked the mixed tag match best. We also had some announcements, some talking from Perros del Mal and a big fight to close the show. It was a simple one and all roads lead to next week's Verno de Escandalo event. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as the show was fine overall.

Stardom 7/19/2026 5★STAR GP 2026 Day 2

Thoughts:
I didn't like it at all. They goofed around early to celebrate Poi's birthday then actually had a real match after. It'd be one thing if they did the goofing around before the match, but they did it during the match. So clearly, no one was worried about winning or losing here.

Poi and SA talk on the mic after and SA gives Poi "31" balloons for her age.

Thoughts
: It was short and I didn't care for it. KF did ankle locks to Hanan. Hanan didn't sell them and just did her usual stuff. It was only after the match ended that she sold a little.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. Rian mostly went for pins here and Ruaka used her size against her. They kept the pace up here too which helped it. This beat my expectations.

Thoughts:
It was a decent match so of course we had a DQ finish at the end. The ref seemingly got pulled out during a pin attempt, but we didn't see it and he didn't seem to mind as he did nothing about it. At least he did DQ the heels for using weapons on Inaba in front of him. This was mostly all Inaba working Tora's leg.

Thoughts: They had a heated battle here. Hina showed some spirit and tried a bit harder than usual. The selling could have been a bit better but I liked it and thought it was one of Hina's better showings. There was a lot of high impact moves here and both girls got slammed around. I liked this one and thought it was a good match.

It was a good bout. They hit each other with a lot of stiff shots. They got aggressive and they generally filled their time well. It was a heated bout and the two worked well together.

Thoughts: It started off well but went on too long and lost some of it's luster. Saya spammed the spear as usual near the end here. Rina had a better showing than usual. I'd still say it was acceptable overall.

Saya talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer show here. Hina/Suzu and Rina/Utami were the big highlights of this one and both were good. I also mostly liked Mei/Itoh and Inaba/Tora. I hated the opener and Koguma/Ami. Hana/Kikyo wasn't too good either. This had 6 bouts I was positive on though and I'd give this a 7 out of 10 as there was a lot of good wrestling to be had here. This was a good show.
