We see Thom Lattimer, Bryan Idol, Carson Drake, The Paige Sisters, and some other wrestlers at the grand opening of a gym doing the ribbon cutting ceremony. Carson says Tommy Rant is embarrassing him as he is chewing the ribbon. Thom is asked about Aron Stevens and he says you have to put up with his nonsense once in awhile.  The Paige Sisters talk about whether Big Mama is coming. Kylie wants nothing to do with her while Kenzie does. 

Hair vs Mask - Special Ref: Ocasio - Gaagz The Gymp vs Alex Misery

No intros for this one. Alex hits shots on Gymp. Gymp boots him out of the corner and hits chops. We are told Lev was supposed to be in this but couldn't make it so Alex took his spot. Gymp chokes him on the ropes.

Gymp is pushed into the ref. Alex hits shots on Gymp then basement dropkicks him. Alex hits an enzugiri. Alex nearly splashes Ocasio and is rolled up. Alex spinning heel kicks him then upkicks him. Alex camel clutches him.

Alex hits a back elbow for 2. Alex misses a top rope whisper in the wind. Gymp hits a double chop. Gymp charges at Alex but nails Ocasio instead. Alex hits an os cutter on Gymp for 2. Alex misses a top rope move. Gymp rakes his back and dragon sleepers him. Alex grabs Gymp's mask. Alex pushes Gymp into Ocasio and backrolls him for 2.

Ocasio grabs Alex. They go onto the buckles and Alex tries to unmask Gymp. Gymp is put in tree of woe. Ocasio tries to free Gymp. Alex grabs a kendo stick and Ocasio stops him. Alex then hits Ocasio with it. Alex chokes Ocasio with the stick. 

Gymp grabs a kendo stick then nails Ocasio with it. The two then beat up Ocasio with kendo sticks.

Thoughts: I have no idea what this was or what it was supposed to be. This whole story (if you can even call it that) hasn't been mentioned since 12/10/2024. Lev was supposed to be in this instead of Alex but didn't make it so Alex took his place. I would think Alex would lose here since he hit the ref and the ref could DQ him, but that never happened.

The Southern Six are at a bar. Kerry says he built it. Kerry says they are going after the gold and talks about Wrecking Ball Legursky going down tonight which didn't happen on this show. Silas Mason talks about having to face Colby Corino again. He says he as never done any work himself and is just where he is because of who his family is. Kerry defends Colby because he's a 2nd gen guy. He tells Silas to watch out for him.

The bartender says they could use a shot. Alex wants to toast to The Southern Six. Alex says it doesn't matter who wins the NWA Title as long as it comes back to The Southern Six.

Ms. Starr and Tiffany Nieves vs The Money Birds (Ladybird Monroe and Gigi Rey)

Starr usually teams with Ella Envy but isn't doing that today. The Money Birds are debuting here.

Tiff boots an opponent in the gut and side headlock takeovers her. Tiff is put in a headscissors and is armdragged. Tiff is tripped into a basement dropkick. Monroe slingshot swantons Tiff.
Starr gets in. Monroe cartwheels over her on an up and over then slingblades her. Starr bangs Monroe's face off the mat then bangs her head off the mat. Starr hits a back splash in the corner and bangs her head off the mat with the headscissors. Tiff is cradled for 2 then Tiff and Monroe do a double clothesline spot.

Rey gets in and hits a superman punch on Starr. She double underhook suplexes Tiff then step up enzugiri's Starr. Starr hits a ddt on Rey. Tiff puts Starr's legs on the ropes to help with the pin but gets caught. The ref sees it and breaks the pin up. Starr and Tiff argue. Rey then rolls up Starr and wins.

Thoughts: This was The Birds' debut. It's nice to give them a win and give the heels a reason for losing but it really would have been nice if we had any build up to The Birds' debut. They've never been mentioned here and that hurt this some. The match was okay otherwise though and The Birds looked fine.

Aron Stevens is talking to Jeremiah Plunkett in front of a ring. They have 2 people in the ring. Aron wants them to go at it and immediately interrupts them when they do. He then kicks them out of the ring. Aron says not everyone has it and implies the two in the ring don't.

Aron says Thom Lattimer has been causing issues. Aron says he has some info that will make his and Plunkett's lives easier. He says it will ruin any association between Thom and the NWA as well. Tommy Rant of The Slimeballz and Carson Drake walk in. Rant is acting goofy and Aron kicks him out.

Aron proposes something to Drake. Drake asks what's in it for him. Aron says he's forgotten more about this than most people ever know. He says he was here to help him but Drake is pretending like he doesn't know what he's doing. Drake says he doesn't need his money or lack or charisma and walks out with Rant.

There's an intergender match that I won't be covering.

Thom Lattimer talks outside of a building. He says it's a great honor to be champ and says he's trying to be like people he wanted to be like including Flair and Race. Someone interrupts him. He asks if Thom heard. He says he has Thom's back. He then says he has something to show Thom and tells him to be calm. Thom sees it and says "Aron Stevens" then walks off.

Thoughts: I assume this was Paul Birchall talking to Thom here but they didn't name him and he would now be bald, which he was not when we saw him last.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual frustrating NWA Powerrr episode. You really have to have a database like I do to keep track of what's going on and why various matches are happening. The opener started off of something that happened in December and hasn't really been mentioned since. The whole opener was a complete mess that I couldn't make any sense of. The women's tag match had a debuting team in The Money Birds who had no intro or build to make you care. They then fought Tiffany Nieves and Ms. Starr, who never team together and beat them. I guess that worked but it could have been done better. There was an intergender match that I didn't cover and there's a new story with Aron Stevens having some kind of dirt on Thom Lattimer that is still unknown to the viewer. But we'll wait and see how it goes. I'd give this one a 4 out of 10 as it had intergender stuff and bizarre opener. I wouldn't recommend this.
