WWE LFG 7/26/2026 Season 3, Episode 14

WWE LFG 7/26/2026 Season 3, Episode 14

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7192026-season-3-episode-13.html

We see Kam Hendrix reacting to being pulled off of LFG. Matt Bloom says Kam used it as fuel. Kam says he has new gear and is finally just being himself. Kam says he's excited to be back and take over.

Kevin Owens, Matt Bloom, Booker T and Bubba Ray Dudley talk. Booker has PJ Vasa vs Wendy Choo. Matt says he wants PJ to be consistent with her physicality and urgency. Bubba has Elijah Holyfield vs Chris Island. Bubba says Eli is a star in the making and he wishes he could say the same thing about Chris. Bloom says Chris needs to dive into who he is. Bubba says he will give Chris his best. Owens has Kam Hendrix vs Shady Elnahas. They say it's Shady's first time competing in a crowd, which I don't believe is true.

Jazz helps Choo and PJ practice. Choo says she coaches the newer girls and says being on LFG is a fun experience. PJ says she wants to show that she's nasty and wants to bully her. Booker talks to the girls. Booker says your loss has to be better than your wins. PJ says she needs to put Choo over. Booker says PJ needs to show her vulnerability.

PJ Vasa vs Wendy Choo

We are at the Evolve arena for this.

Choo shoves her and is thrown down backwards. Choo hits chops and PJ bodyblocks her. We go to break and return. Choo hits kicks and running knees her. Choo's give is caught and she is rammed back first into the post. Choo's head is banged off the apron.

PJ butt drops Choo's back. PJ hits corner spears on Choo's back. PJ corner splashes her from behind. PJ backdrops her for 2. PJ knees her in the back and pulls her arms back. Choo flips forward and double upkicks her. Choo hits forearms. PJ misses a corner spear.

Choo hits running lariats and dropkicks her. Choo pepsi twist lariats her. Choo cartwheel forearms her in the corner. Choo 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2. PJ suplexes Choo. PJ splashes Choo's back for 2. PJ stands on Choo's back. Choo hits her on the buckles. Choo 2nd rope superplexes her for the win.

Thoughts:
PJ didn't get a lot in here but the match mostly went fine otherwise. The finish could have been a little better. Choo had an okay showing.

Booker T talks to PJ and Choo after. He says he needs to feel PJ's spirit as soon as she comes out. Booker says she did a good job. Booker says they did nothing but made it mean something. Coo says she loved the match. PJ says being in the ring with her made her feel comfortable.

Bubba talks to Chris Island and Elijah Holyfield. Bubba asks who Chris is and Chris says he's the one. Bubba says Chris doesn't know who he is and says then he and the fans don't know who he is. Bubba says he needs to be a fighter who has had it rough. Eli says they are trying to get Chris' aggressiveness out. Chris says only he and Eli knock people out on this roster. Bubba says everything Eli does needs to be bigger. Bubba says Eli is a face. Bubba says no shine and says to go straight to the comeback here. Bubba says he wants to see fists flying and shoulder tackles. Eli says he's never been in a one-sided match like this but lets see how it goes. Bubba says he wants to be able to see Eli's rage. Bubba says he feels confident that we will see the best out of them.

Elijah Holyfield vs Chris Island

Bubba gets in Chris' face. He says he turns the corner and it's his day. Bubba says we talk about the new Chris Island, not the old Chris Island.

CI runs in and nails Eli from behind. CI slams him in the ring. CI hits forearms and double leg slams him again. CI hits mounted shots on him. CI knee drops him. Eli misses a charge and back elbows him. CI stun gun's him. CI backbreakers him.

CI knee drops him in the arm for 1. CI hits mounted shots on Eli then stomps his hand. CI stands on the hand. Eli is sent shoulder first into the buckles. CI suplexes him for 2. CI forearms him and sends him hard into the buckles. CI hammerlock backdrops him for 2.

Eli hits him in the gut and CI forearms him. Eli spinebusters him. Eli hits flying shoulders on CI. Booker T comes up to Bubba in the back and Bubba isn't happy. He says CI has no rhythm. Eli powerslams CI. Eli hits a big uppercut and pins him.

Thoughts
: Whatever they were supposed to do here was not done. CI is just not a super exciting guy and Eli didn't show his face at all when selling which hurt the selling. This was just average.

Bubba talks to the wrestlers after. CI says the match got repetitive and Eli's selling stayed in the same place. Bubba says Eli's face was down the whole time. Bubba asks who is down there and who can see his face? He says that's all Bubba has to say. Eli gets mad and doesn't like the way he said it. Eli walks off.

We go to break and return. Eli says he walked away before he said something. Eli says Bubba made him feel stupid and he didn't appreciate it. CI says Bubba talked to him like a little boy. Eli talks to the camera's alone. He says Bubba needs to tell him what to do only and nothing else. Matt Bloom says Bubba is talking from a place of love. He says if you let your emotions get in the way, you don't hear what's being said. Bubba says he hopes he triggered him to fix it for next time. He says if they can't see your face, you won't make money. Eli says he needs to listen to the feedback.

Kevin Owens talks to Kam Hendrix and Shady Elnahas. Shady says she's been a fan since he was 5 and did judo because he liked wrestling. He says there was no wrestling there. He then says he moved to Canada and couldn't pass up the opportunity to leave his sport. Kam is excited to be back. Kam says he's been working on intensity and timing and felt like he was acting before. He says he feels like he is being himself now.

The wrestlers practice the match and KO watches. KO says a rule of wrestling is to not do other people's moves. He says Finn and Seth do slingblades. He says Kam can do it here but it's a measure of respect not to do it. Shady says he has slingblade variation ideas. Shady asks if doing a slingblade into a flatliner is the same thing. Owens says that's where they can make it different. Owens says he doesn't have to change it but has to decide.

Kam Hendrix vs Shady Elnahas

This is at the NXT arena. Kam backs him up in the corner and gets in his face. Kam knees him in the gut and lariats him. Kam then dances. Shady flying headscissors him. Shady running euros him in the corner. Shady is back body dropped out of the ring. Shady has a face mask on and sells like his face got hit. Kam clubs on Shady's chest.

Kam corner lariats Shady then rolls into a lariat on him. Kam arm and chinlocks him. Shady rolls him up and Kam powerslams him for 2. Kam rubs his face into the mat and slaps him in the back of the head. Shady hits punches on him then Kam misses a corner charge. Shady hits running lariats and corkscrew kicks him. Shady slingblade flatliners him for 2.

They trade shots. Kam flying kicks him for 2. Shady neckbreakers him. Shady slingshot plancha's him outside. Shady misses a top rope moonsault. Kam spears him and backdrops him into a uranage. Kam pins him.

Thoughts: Kam won as expected here. Shady didn't really show a lot here and the face mask made it very hard to sell. He didn't really botch anything though. Shady is absolutely not a babyface in any way. This was below average.

Matt Bloom says Kam did a great job. Shawn says Shady did a good job. Shady says he is perfectionist. Shawn says let's work on the basics. Owens says the match was solid. Owen says Shady missed his moonsault and he needs to be his own guy. Shady then talks about his girlfriend Tiffany Stratton and says the moonsault is a tribute to her. Owens says they would both be on NXT if it was up to him. He says Kam feels like what he's doing is really him. Kam says he has found himself out there.

Overall thoughts:
Choo/PJ was fine and the other two matches weren't that good. Elijah's selling was bad in his match and Chris Island just isn't working. The main wasn't that good. Shady is not a babyface by any means and he didn't get to do a lot to impress. There's nothing you need to see here on this one and it was pretty similar to the other episodes from this season. This is really probably best to watch more as a documentary than a wrestling show.

WWE LFG 7/19/2026 Season 3, Episode 13

WWE LFG 7/19/2026 Season 3, Episode 13

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7122026-season-3-episode-12.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7262026-season-3-episode-14.html

Tristan Angels talks to Johnny Russo. Russo says it's time to come up with a new name for him. TA says he likes his name but he can't wrestle with it. Russo tells him to put together some first and last names, mix them up and see what he likes the best. Russo says they will find names they like then take it to legal. TA says he wrote the name he liked on his car and made some gear with the name on it. Russo tells him that's a risk and says fingers crossed for his name.

Matt Bloom, Booker T, Natalya and Bubba Ray talk. Booker has Harley Riggins vs Tate Wilder. Bloom says Tate does a lot and he doesn't want him to get bored with the basics. Bloom says he's an adrenaline junkie and Booker says there's a difference between being that and a flipper. Natalya has Masyn Holiday vs Nikkita Lyons. Bloom says he has high hopes for Masyn. He says he doesn't think she knows how to listen to the crowd. Bloom says Lyons is a star and wants her to put equity in her offense. Nat wants to see more conviction in Lyons' offense. Bubba has Nathan Cranton vs Jaime Garcia. Bloom wants NC to work on being a heel and wants JG to work on how to sell. Bloom says the Cole/Garcia match wasn't good and Bubba says it crumbled.

Booker T talks to Harley Riggins and Tate Wilder. HR wants to give him a wet willie and be a high school bully. Tate says Booker shut it down and Booker says it's a bunch of sh!t. HR tries to do the wet willie spot and Booker says no.

Harley Riggins vs Tate Wilder

We are at the Evolve arena for this. They lock up and Tate side headlock takeovers him. HR side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Tate dropkicks him and armdrags him. Tate top wristlocks him. HR knees Tate in the gut in the corner. HR kicks him in the back and chest.

Tate slips out of a slam and rolls him up. HR lariats him for 2. HR pounds on him. Tate swinging neckbreakers him. Tate goes up top and HR superplexes him down for 2. Tate suplexes him. Tate hits a top rope moonsault and pins him.

Thoughts: I'm sure this was probably clipped as it wasn't long. What we got was acceptable but it was too brief.

Booker tells them not to think about moves after and says it's about doing little things. Booker says they did a good job. Tate says he could have done more with the selling. Bloom says this is all about characters with them and says the truest characters are the real life ones.

Natalya talks to Nikkita Lyons and Masyn Holiday. Nat says she loves NL and says she has a positive attitude. NL says she worked Nat in NXT and it was fun. Masyn says she loves NL. Nat wants NL to be rough on her to start and wants them to shove each other. Masyn says Nat showed them new holds and techniques. Nat says she likes getting hands on in the ring. Nat says Masyn has a great attitude. NL says Nat isn't afraid to get in your face and she loves it. NL says Nat shows you what she wants instead of telling you.

Nikkita Lyons vs Masyn Holiday

Masyn is already long gone from WWE.

NL backs her up on the ropes and faceshoves her. Mas shoves her back then armdrags her twice. Mas dropkicks her out. NL hits Mas outside then hits shots to the gut. NL hits corner spears. NL snapmares her and stands on her. NL butt drops her.

NL chinlocks her. Mas ankle locks her. NL forearms her down and hits mounted forearms for 2. NL cobra twists her. They double clothesline each other. They trade forearms and punches. NL hits corner spears. Mas backrolls her and elbows her over.

Mas flying shoulders her. Natalya says she's not buying it. NL corner spears Mas and rolls her. Both go for pin attempts. NL buzzsaw kicks her for 2. Mas then cradles her and pins her.

Thoughts
: It wasn't anything special. Masyn needed a better comeback and better offense. NL was the better wrestler here.

Masyn Holiday is on the ground after the match. NL joins her. They then get up. NL says wrestling cardio is hard. Nat says it's hard too and says 6 minutes in the ring is the same as a 45 min run. Nat says the match structure was fine and says Masyn needs a better comeback. She says Masyn needs to do more matches to learn better. Bloom says both girls looked tired and it affected the match. Bloom says it's not easy, but you gotta do your part and get in shape.

Bubba talks to Jaime Garcia and Nathan Cranton. He says JG didn't have a good week 2 weeks ago. Bubba tells JG to live in the moment and not worry about spots and moves. They want to tell the story of NC working JG's arm. Bubba yells at JG's selling and tries to explain selling to him.

Nathan Cranton vs Jaime Garcia

JG is on the buckles and NC throws him down. NC hits mounted shots on him and running knees him. NC stomps on him and the ref separates them. The bell rings and NC lariats JG. JG boots him out of the corner then claymore kicks him.

NC back elbows him and JG hits a corner spear. JG overhead throws him. JG's arm is pulled over the top rope on the exposed metal (NC pulled the pad off). NC pushes JG off the apron and into the commentary table.

JG rolls up NC for 2. NC leg kicks him and drops him arm first on the top rope. NC kneedrops and kicks the arm. NC faceshoves JG and JG hits shots to the body. JG misses a dropkick then hits one.

JG hits flying lariats on NC then hiptosses him over the top. JG spaceman plancha's him outside. JG top rope dropkicks him in the back for 2. JG is up top, NC knocks the ropes out under him and JG does down. NC does a curbstomp with the knee and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't love it. NC worked the arm early and then stopped. JG didn't sell that well as usual.

Bubba asks NC and JG how they thought they did. Bubba says they did a great and he says he enjoyed the match. We see TJP shaking hands with them.

JG says he wants to be on NXT and plays with the boom mic. NC says he's happy with the match. Johnny Russo gives him an envelope with his name. NC is pleased with it but doesn't say what it is. We then see him drive his car which says, "Tristan Angels" on it. He says it's the most important name in WWE history through a megaphone. He says he feels like he is angelic and wanted his name to reflect it.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual show. The coaches helped set up the match, the wrestlers performed it then they critiqued them on it after. Riggins/Tate was acceptable. Lyons/Masyn wasn't that good and neither was the main event. There was nothing you really needed to see here and I'd give it a 4 out of 10. It was a little below average.

WWE LFG 7/12/2026 Season 3, Episode 12

WWE LFG 7/12/2026 Season 3, Episode 12

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-752026-season-3-episode-11.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7192026-season-3-episode-13.html

We see Harlem Lewis working out and see Mike Derudder arriving to join him. They do squats and sprints. We see them compete with each other and say the other guy won't take their spot.

Booker, Owens, Bloom and Bubba talk. Booker has Chantel Monroe vs Bayley Humphrey. Booker says Bayley has been impressing her and coming out of her shell. Bubba has Nathan Cranton vs Tate Wilder. Bloom says Tate needs to stop worrying about the flips and says they need more aggressiveness out of Nathan. Harlem Lewis face Mike Derudder and Kevin Owens is coaching it. They agree Mike is the flashier one.

Nathan and Bayley talk about their matches tonight. Nathan says Bayley is a girl you can't forget. He says he got asked to do a love story with Bayley one day at a PC Live event (We've never really heard about these, but they are shows only for PC talent that never get seen elsewhere). Bloom says they thought it would be fun to put them together as they are opposites. Bayley says it turned into something and has become entertaining. We then see Bayley grab him and hug him. Bay says her mom will be here and Nathan says "you didn't tell me you had a mother".

Chantel Monroe says she broke her nose again and has to wear a mask. She put gets on the mask. Booker talks to Chantel and Bay. Booker says they have a hell of a test tonight. Booker wants them to work on killing some time. Bay says Chantel is bad@ss and is someone she wanted to work with. Chantel gets her back and Bay swings her around.

Bay talks about her mom coming and we see Bay's mom.

Chantel Monroe vs Bayley Humphrey

CM rolls out of a lock up. Bay backs her up in the corner. CM gets on her back and Bay spins her off. CM leg kicks her and Bay gorilla presses her. CM escapes and hits her from behind. Bay corner splashes her. CM chopblocks her. CM elbow drops the knee. and pulls it with a roll.

CM's leg is banged off the post. CM top rope splashes Bay for 2. Bay breaks up a spinning toe hold and cradles her for 1. CM dropkicks her in the knee. CM superkicks her. Bay backdrops her. Bay does a powerbomb lift into a powerslam. Bay wins.

Thoughts: I'm sure they edited this one a lot as there were tons of cuts, but I liked what we got. CM worked the knee and Bay overpowered her to win.

Booker T loved the match and says see how easy it was. Booker says CM was relentless like a honey badger. Bloom says CM played her heel role well and says it was easy for Bayley to be the face. CM says she's back and ready to light this thing on fire. Bay's mom hugs her and loves the match. Bay's mom says she's amazing in whatever she does. Bay says her mom is her best friend and they have matching tattoos.

Bubba talks to Tate Wilder and Nathan Cranton. Bubba wants to see the intent to hurt on NC's face. NC says he's pretty and deadly and needs to show it. Bubba wants Tate's anguish to turn to fire and wants him to start with his fist. Bubba says it's not about the moves, but the emotion you get out of them with the least amount of moves. Bubba says the fans react to motion but will react best to emotion.

Tate Wilder vs Nathan Cranton

Tate poses on the ropes and NC pulls him down. NC hits mounted forearms and kicks him in the arm. NC misses a corner charge. Tate sunset flips him. Tate backrolls him for 2. NC hits a stun gun and lariats him from behind. NC suplexes him for 2.

NC goes out to talk to Bayley's mom and says he didn't she had a sister. She then gives her his sash. Tyra Mae Steele is spotted. NC hits Tate from behind and pulls his arms back. NC knees him in the gut and slams him. NC goes to climb the ropes but slips. NC misses a top rope elbow drop.

Tate hits chops and hits running shots. Tate flying shoulders him.  Tate runs into a back elbow. NC poses on the ropes and is thrown down. Tate top rope moonsaults him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It wasn't bad. I didn't quite see tons of fire out of Tate. I guess Nathan's thing with Bayley is now officially canon. The match went well and was fun but I don't know if it did what it was supposed to do.

Bubba asks the wrestlers to rate the match. Nate says it was very good and Bubba agrees. Bubba says Nate should have beaten down Tate more in the beginning and he says they did very well. Tate says he made some strides forward and it was awesome.

Mike Derudder and Harlem Lewis get ready for their match. Lewis says Mike will come up with ideas for moves. Kevin Owens talks to them. He says he wants to see them do it and give feedback on it instead of telling them to do it his way. He says they wouldn't look out of place on NXT. Owens says Harlem to go more into Mike's leg. Mike says it's so great to get advice from people like Owens as he makes him a better wrestler. Lewis says he wants to show Bloom what they have been working on together.

Mike Derudder vs Harlem Lewis

They trade side headlock takeovers. Mike side headlocks him and they butt heads. They shove each other. Mike shoulders him then Lewis lariats him from behind. Mike fights out of the corner and hits a nice dropkick.

Mike slingshot diving headscissors him outside. Mike running facekicks him. Mike is caught up top. Mike is knocked off the buckles. Lewis stomps and double axe handles him. Lewis dragon screw leg whips him.

Mike hits forearms and is facekicked. Lewis elbow drops the leg and does a sharpshooter variation. Mike slaps him to get out. Mike hits hard boots to the face. Mike hits punches. Lewis misses a lariat and Mike's leg gives out on a backdrop. Mike hits a hard lariat.

Mike asai moonsaults him outside. Owens says something about Mike forgetting his leg was hurt. Lewis goes into the steps. Mike enzugiri's him from the apron. Mike springboards into a hard Lewis lariat. Mike hurricanrana's him for 2. Lewis superkicks him in the gut then jackhammers him. Lewis pins him.

Thoughts: It was a stiff one with both guys nailing each other good at times. They had a little too much going on with them doing a hoss match, Mike having to sell his leg and Mike flying around. Mike could have been better here. I wish they just stuck with the hoss stuff as that was going well. Mike's not a good seller and the result wasn't shocking.

Bloom says they had a nice routine but will get a lesser reaction every time they do it. Bloom says the people need to love or hate Mike and it has to be done through selling. Owens complains about Mike's selling. He says Mike has a hard time taking feedback (which you can see on display weekly here). Mike loved the match. Lewis says they beat each other up and had fun.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual show we have been getting with them telling us about the talent, the wrestlers working on their match, the wrestlers doing the match then getting critiqued on the match. It makes sense and if the match is good, it works out a bit better than if it's not. We learned about PC Live events today which is new news. I liked Chantal/Bayley. Tate/Nathan went well. The main had too much going on in it and Mike's usual weaknesses were on display throughout it. This is really more of a documentary than a show and I think they really hammered in the idea here that emotion, not moves, is what they are going for. I liked what we got, but there's just only so much they can do with the limitations (green wrestlers, no ability to do storylines or special matches, short matches and no way to do an actual start to stop wrestling show). This was fine overall.

WWE LFG 7/5/2026 Season 3, Episode 11

WWE LFG 7/5/2026 Season 3, Episode 11

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6282026-season-3-episode-10.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-7122026-season-3-episode-12.html

Sirena Linton talks about being added to the NXT Live Event loop. We see her in action. She says it was a lot of fun.

The coaches talk. Kevin Owens vs PJ Vasa vs Sirena Linton. Bubba has Jaime Garcia vs Braxton Cole. Bloom wants to see Cole do more with his book. Booker T has Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield vs Hank and Tank. Bloom says it's Eli's first chance to face an established team. Booker says Eli is money.

PJ Vasa talks about Sirena Linton, saying she's her best friend at the PC and can be a star someday. Sirena says PJ is aggressive and says she needs to use every ounce of energy against her. Owens tries to teach them how to do the match.

PJ Vasa vs Sirena Linton

We are at the Evolve Arena for this. Sirena has already been fired.

SL dropkicks her twice to start. She chest forearm flurries her in the corner and back elbows her out of the corner. PJ catches her off the buckles and slams her. SL dropkicks her and this shots in the corner. PJ headbutts her down.

PJ misses a legdrop and Sl low crossbodies her for 2. SL handspring back elbows her then PJ lariats her down. SL's head is banged off the buckles. PJ corner splashes her. Owens says the intensity is good but there's not a lot of emotion.

PJ chinlocks SL on the ropes. PJ stomps her and stands on her. SL hits a big slap. PJ cranks her head. SL hits shots to the gut then PJ black hole slams her for 2. PJ misses a butt drop. PJ misses a corner spear and goes into the post. SL hits a top rope molly go round and pins her.

Thoughts:
It was fine. SL sold and flurries on PJ. PJ bullied her around a little. I thought they had the general idea of this down.

Owens talks to the girls after. He says what SL did in the beginning was good. Owens says PJ looked like she was going through the motions which I agree with. SL said she got to show something as "Miss Spicy". Owens says SL isn't ready for NXT yet.

Bubba talks to Braxton and Jaime Garcia. Bubba says we've seen the book work and not work for Cole. Bubba says let's have a match where the face sees the book coming. Bubba says he only sees Cole getting mad from Garcia frustrating him.

They practice the match. Cole says Bubba teaches him how to get the emotion out of the crowd. Bubba wants Cole to do the Flair bump off the top.

Braxton Cole vs Jaime Garcia

This is in the Evolve Arena. Cole gets on the mic before the match and asks the crowd to shut up. He says he's the PhD of WWE. He says he will read his favorite book passage for them. The crowd chants, "you can't read" at him. JG interrupts before he finishes.

JG waistlock takedowns him several times then rolls him into the ropes. Cole side headlock takeovers him. JG headscissors him and tries a pin off of it. The crowd chants "nerd" at Cole. JG bridges out of a wristlock and hits chops. JG rolls into a dropkick on him.

JG enzugiri's him from the apron. Cole throws him off the top rope. Cole hits a bad facekick for 2. Cole tries a butt drop on the back and JG gets his knees up. JG hits him in the gut and slaps him. JG claymore kicks him.

JG overhead throws him for 2. Cole release suplexes him. Cole grabs his book and JG dropkicks the book in his face. JG pins him.

Thoughts:
The match needed a little more. JG did some some fire and picked up things at time times. I liked some of the crowd chants at Cole. It wasn't that bad though.

Bubba says they have to work on Cole's arrogance. Bubba says Cole didn't show frustration and gives him ideas on how to do that. Cole says there's some things he f*cked up on. Bubba says JG gets nervous if he gets no reaction and tells him not to do that.

Booker T talks Hank, Tank, Elijah and Apollo Crews. Tank's excited as usual. Booker asks what the goal is and the wrestlers don't know. Booker says everyone knows Hank and Tank and they gotta get the crowd to know Elijah. Booker wants them to get Elijah over.

They practice the match. Eli says Hank and Tank taught at his tryout. Hank says Eli learning under Crews is like learning from Isaac Newton. They practice the match. Booker wants Hank to practice getting up for a slam with his right toe. Booker says he was taught that.

Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) vs Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield

We are at the NXT Arena for this.

They all shake hands to start. Tank and AC lock up. AC side headlocks him. AC side headlock takeovers him and gets headscissored. They repeat the spot with different roles and AC armdrags him.

Tank side headlocks AC. The four shoulderblock each other. Tank is thrown out. Hank yanks on Eli's arm. Hank 2nd rope double ae ahandles Eli. Hank backs off from a punch then takes a flying shoulderblock. AC boots Hank in the corner. Eli then does the same and AC boots Hank more.

Hank takes a double shoulderblock and AC elbow drops Hank for 2. Eli clubs on Hank. Tank comes in and hits lariats. Tank atomic drops AC and 2nd rope twisting shoulderblocks him. Tank fallaway slams AC. Tank cartwheels and lariats Eli for 2. AC pump kicks Hank. Tank knees Ac in the face. Eli spinebusters Tank.

Eli hits an uppercut on Hank when Tank is moved out of the way. Tank then rolls up Eli and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't quite as great as it could have been. Hank and Tank work better with pure heels. I think Eli and AC needed more emotion here and I didn't think Eli was able to stick out. I think some more flying from AC might have helped this too. It was a little below average.

Shawn Michaels and Bloom love the match. Booker says Eli did his job and passed the test. Tank says Eli kicked @ss all day. Hank and Tank are excited about the match. Booker says 2026 could be a breakout year for Eli.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual episode for this season. The coaches go over the match, the wrestlers try the match then match is reviewed after. PJ/Sirena was fine. Cole/Garcia wasn't bad but needed more. I did not like the main event as much as everyone else did and I didn't think Elijah was featured that much in it. There's nothing you really need to see on this one and nothing was that great. It was an easy watch though.

WWE LFG 6/28/2026 Season 3, Episode 10

WWE LFG 6/28/2026 Season 3, Episode 10

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6212026-season-3-episode-9.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/07/wwe-lfg-752026-season-3-episode-11.html

Matt Bloom sees Kam Hendrix working out. Matt says they are pulling him from LFG for a few weeks. Kam says it's a bad feeling not being on this show. Kam says he's "found it". Matt says he's on the right path but hasn't found it yet. He says he's close though. He says he wants him to beat the tar out of faces and not pander to the fans.

Bloom, Booker T, Terry Taylor and Bubba Ray Dudley talk. Terry has Harley Riggins vs Matt DeRudder. They talk about Jax Presley being injured and Harley needing to wrestle on his own. Matt says Mike needs to know that less is more. Matt wants Harley to work a body part. Masyn Holiday fights Bayley Humphrey and Bubba will work on it. Bubba says he never got to work with Bay. Matt says Masyn is working about doing pretty moves too much.

Booker T has Layla Diggs vs Kali Armstrong. Matt says Diggs went from being shy to being comfortable in the ring. Matt doesn't know who she is and says Bianca and Lash in her. Matt says Kali is unique and says she's a stud. She says her time will come.

We see Jax Presley. His arm is in a sling and he hurt it doing a clothesline. He tore his pec. He says him and Harley were on a roll prior to the injury.

Harley says he doesn't done singles in a while. Mike says Terry tells him to do headlocks instead of flips. Terry says they had all kinds of violent move set up in their match. He wanted them to start off slower. Terry says the first few mins need to be the nice guy vs the a-hole. He says they want to start out with combat instead. Mike disagrees with Terry and says he needs to show who he is. Terry says he wants to show who he can do. Terry says if they could trade holds for 90 seconds before the fun stuff, he'd be happy.

Mike DeRudder vs Harley Riggins

We are the Evolve arena for this. Mike side headlocks him. HR dives at his knee. Mike shoulders HR over. Mike armdrags and dropkicks him out. Mike handsprings and tries a flip but slips. Mike springboard dropkicks him off the apron. HR sweeps him on the apron.

HR hits Mike in the back of the leg. HR lariats Mike over the top. Mike is sent into the steps. HR stomps the leg on the steps. HR yanks the leg and stands on his gut. HR misses a 2nd rope twisting swanton. Mike running lariats him and backdrops him for 2. Mike tries to go up top but holds his leg and comes down.

HR lariats him. HR kicks him in the leg and double stomps the back of his neck for 2.  They trade chops. Mike hits a big lariat. Mike sitout powerbombs him and pins him.

Thoughts: The stuff with Terry pre-match was funny because it went exactly as I thought it would. What was saying is really the type of wrestler he is. They gave Terry about 30 seconds of what he wanted. I thought the leg could have been worked better here since it was an important part of the match. They kept it moving. HR wasted a lot of time when he was in control.

Terry Taylor says he didn't want to like the match but it was good. He says Mike's selling was disjointed. He says heels take advantage and face weathers the storm. Terry says they gave him 1:25 of working holds. He says he wants them to do less and sell more. Harley says the moral of the story is doing less and the crowd will be more interested in the story.

Matt Bloom talks to them. Matt tells Mike less is more and says he's doing a better job of it. Matt says HR's chops were awful.

Bubba talks to Bayley and Masyn. Bubba says he wants to see and hear the impact tonight. He says they are impressive side by side and he wants to feel it. He has them do the match step by step. Bubba says they had great attitudes and he wants to see them succeed.

Masyn Holiday vs Bayley Humphrey

Masyn has quit WWE since this aired. She said it was stressful and just not for her.

They lock up and fight for control. Bay side headlocks her and shoulders her over. Bay blocks a slam then lariats her. Bay corner lariats her and throws her. Bay boots her in the corner and throws her again. Bay stomps her for 2.

Bay hits elbows on her. Bay lariats her down. Masyn ddt's her off a suplex attempt. They trade shots on their knees and Bubba gets upset. Masyn hits some shots then flying back elbows her. Masyn shoulders her over and slams her for 2.

Bay powerbomb lifts her into a powerslam and pins her.

Thoughts: They kind of tried to do a power vs power match here. I didn't really buy Masyn as someone who could handle Bay power for power but that's what they were told to do. It wasn't anything special.

Terry says he's never seen Bay's finisher before and Bubba says she's been doing it since Season 1 of LFG (correct).

Bubba talks to Masyn and Bayley. Bubba says it was a good and said Masyn understood the story. Bubba tells Masyn not to fire up small and says she's larger than life. Bubba wants Bayley to be loud when she yells at people so more people can hear it. Bubba wants her to find her inner animal. Bay says she thought they did a good job of telling the story.

Matt Bloom says he was proud of the story they told. Matt says they have forgiving and understanding fans. Matt says Masyn didn't do much in the match and needs to give him more. Matt says it was a solid match.

Booker T talks to Kali Armstrong and Layla Diggs. Diggs says Booker wants them to focus on the little things and not the moves.  Diggs says Booker knows what he's talking about and is so passionate. Diggs says he wants Layla to show she's in control.

Booker tells Kali he's looking for the small things.

Kali Armstrong vs Layla Diggs

We are in the NXT arena for this.

KA hip throws her to start then waistlock takedowns her. LD front facelocks her. LD handsprings out of an arm throw. LD wristlocks her. LD armdrags her off the casadora then armdrags her into an armlock. LD tries an up and over and is pulled down. KA hits spears to the gut.

KA broski boots her for 2. KA knees her in the gut. LD rolls her up for 1. KA boots her in the gut. KA butt drops her for 2. KA chinlocks her and LD hits her in the gut. LD boots her out of the corner. Kali misses a corner spear. LD leg lariats her and spin kicks her in the gut. LD step up enzugiri's her.

LD flying pumping knees her for 2. They punch each other. LD cradles her for 2. LD flips out of a lariat and overhead kicks her. LD comes off the 2nd rope and KA powerslams her. KA runs the ropes, shoulders her over and LD does a flip for it. KA pins her.

Thoughts: It was a good bout and one of Layla's best so far. She showed off her agility some. Kali was great here. She moved really well, picked up lots of speed and everything she did had some force with it. I was very impressed with Kali here.

Bubba says Kali has something and Booker says she has everything. Layla's head is busted open. Kali says Layla's a warrior. Shawn Michaels asks how Lyla got it. Layla later says she got it from Kali butt dropping her. Layla says getting anything from Shawn is nice.

Booker talks to Layla and Kali. Booker says Layla never gave him a dominant position and wanted her to fire up after the overhead kick. Booker says Kali showed her all the spots she needed and says the powerslam was perfect.

Layla says she feels good and has progressed each match. Booker says Kali passed the test and is on the way to becoming great. Matt Bloom says she's a high potential talent and says the possibilities are endless.

Overall thoughts: The show ended on a strong point with Layla and Kali and that's a good thing. It was the usual LFG show for this season. We learned something about the wrestlers, the coach told them what to do, they did it then got reviewed. It makes sense, it's understandable and it's a reliable format. As always, I wouldn't say this was must see TV or anything, but I think they are getting as much out of the concept and situation that they can. They just have to work with a lot of limitations like green wrestlers, basic matches and not being able to follow through week to week. This was fine overall but not must see.

WWE LFG 6/21/2026 Season 3, Episode 9

WWE LFG 6/21/2026 Season 3, Episode 9

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6142026-season-3-episode-8.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6282026-season-3-episode-10.html

We go to the medical area.

Carlee Bright is having issues with her thigh and lower back. She says her left leg shuts down sometimes. She says she wants to work through her fears and mistakes.

The coaches of Matt Bloom, Terry Taylor, Bubba Ray Dudley and Booker T talk. Booker T has Braxton Cole vs Harlem Lewis tonight. Bloom says Harlem Lewis could be the bad@ss babyface tonight. Terry Taylor has Zena Sterling vs Sirena Linton. Bloom says Zena has a light bulb but it is flickering. Terry says Zena has plateau'd. Bubba says Zena doesn't understand anger or aggression as she has never had an angry day in her life.

Apollo Crews and Elijay Holyfield face Jamie Garcia and Malik Blade. Booker says Blade is on the bubble. Bloom wants a good story told. Bubba says Apollo will be a great leader for Elijah. Bloom says Eli has great intensity.

We see Braxton Cole working out. Harlem Lewis says he's fighting below his weight. Booker T works out with them. Lewis says Booker used to p!ss him off but now he gets excited to work with him. Booker says he has high hopes for Lewis.

Braxton Cole vs Harlem Lewis

They lock up. Cole shoulders him over and side headlock takeovers him. Lewis side headlock takeovers him. Lewis shoulders him over and slams him. Cole stun gun's him. Cole running neckbreakers him for 2. Cole release suplexes him.

Lewis hits him and takes a shot to the throat. Cole bridging neckbreakers him. Lewis hits punches then lariats and forearms him down. Lewis michinoku drivers him for 2. Cole neckbreakers him for 2. Cole goes to use his book. The ref takes it from him. Cole goes for a kick and Lewis jack knife pins him to win.

Thoughts: It was short and mostly average. They didn't botch anything and the finish was alright. Cole could have shown more personality.

Booker likes the match and says it was good stuff. Lewis says the match went great.

Bloom says Cole needs to show more personality and says he's not putting all of himself into it. Cole says Bloom wants him to have more identity. Bloom says this should be the most important thing to him. Cole says he needs to figure out who he wants to be. Bloom says Lewis did a good job.

Zena Sterling and Sirena Linton both talk. Sirena says it's the first time they have wrestled. Terry Taylor says Sirena needs to make sure we don't like her. Terry says they need to find something that looks unique and different. Terry wants to work  a body part and Zena says Terry is adamant about this. Terry then claps his hands and says, "hot dog".

Terry talks more to them and explains heel vs face roles. He says people want to suspend their disbelief. Sirena says it's just as important to tell stories and says they are storytellers first.

Zena Sterling vs Sirena Linton

Sirena has been fired for a while now.

They lock up. SL slaps her. Zena slaps back and side headlock takeovers her. Zena side headlocks her then lariats her for 2. Zena chinlocks Sirena. Zena knocks her over then slams her.

Zena misses a corner charge and SL boots her in the gut. SL double foot chokes her. SL pendulum bronco busters her. SL double stomps her for 2. SL kicks her in the back and bodyscissors her.

Zena flying lariats her. Zena hits her in the gut and face. Zena hits chops then she hits lariats. Zena backdrops her down then running back splashes her. Zena tilt-a-whirl side slams her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a simple match. Sirena had some twists on some basic moves which was something different. Zena was the face and got a streak going before she won. What we got was fine.

Terry Taylor tells Sirena she did good. He says everything was mechanically great. Terry says they rushed. Terry wanted them to use the bodyscissors more and wanted them to sell more so Zena seems like she's in more jeopardy. Terry says it doesn't undo how good it was though.

Bloom says he enjoyed the match and says they are getting better each week. Zena says he told them the same thing Terry did.

Bubba Ray Dudley talks to the wrestlers in the tag match. Garcia says they couldn't have anyone better for this. Bubba says this is about synergy. Apollo says Elijah has the intense look and it will bring the intensity out of him. Bubba tells Eli no punches until it's time for his big punch.

Bubba says they only have 6 minutes. Bubba says go fast but make sure everything they do means something.

We are at the NXT arena for the main event. Malik Blade and Apollo Crews have been fired already prior to this.

Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield vs Jamie Garcia and Malik Blade

Eli shoves down MB off the lock up. MB yanks on Eli's arm. JG double axe handles Eli's arm off the ropes. Eli slams JG. JG takes a double shoulderblock. AC gorilla presses JG but JG escapes. AC back elbows JG. MB top rope flying lariats AC and really connects with it.

MB takes a shot at Eli then stomps AC in the other corner. MB suplexes AC. MB dropkicks AC into a JG roll up. AC is rammed into the corner and MB side headlocks AC. MB slams AC. MB misses a flying lariat and JG misses a top rope moonsault. Eli is tagged in.

Eli shoulders and lariats over his opponents. Eli hits corner splashes and bulldogs JG. Eli uranage's JG. JG rolls into a dropkick on AC. JG spaceman plancha's his opponents outside. JG misses a springboard dropkick. Eli then hits a big punch and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a good tag here. They really made the most of their time, they got some classic tag spots in and the finish went well. This couldn't have gone much better than it did.

Shawn tells the wrestlers to do something on offense when they shoot someone in. Garcia says it's the first time he talked to Shawn. Bubba says they did well. Bubba liked JG's spaceman plancha and thought the hot tag spot worked. Bubba tells him to look large in the ring and not small so everyone can see him.

JG says him and Blade are learning English, Spanish and tag wrestling. Eli says him and AC lean off each other and make for a great match. AC says the sky is the limit.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual LFG. The wrestlers were given the play for their matches, they did them and they got reviewed after. The main was the best match on here. They really need to make sure they don't fire people next time around when they are featuring them on the show because it makes them all look like liars and fools. It was an easy watch, just there's nothing must see here.

WWE LFG 6/14/2026 Season 3, Episode 8

WWE LFG 6/14/2026 Season 3, Episode 8

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-672026-season-3-episode-7.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6212026-season-3-episode-9.html

Chris Island, who is now fired, heads to the Performance Center to work out. He says he had an identity crisis and was trying to find a character. He says his character is the hardest worker in the room. He says NXT is full of hard workers but none of them are like him.

The coaches talk. Booker T, Matt Bloom, Johnny Gargano and Kevin Owens are there today. Johnny has Jaime Garcia vs Chris Island. Bloom says Garcia has bad habits (so he's giving him to Johnny lol). He says he doesn't know what Chris Island's personality is. Bloom wants Garcia to be less bendy and more gritty. Owens has Nathan Cranton vs Mike DeRudder. Bloom says Mike wants to know why he wasn't called up with Elio LaFleur. Owens agrees with Mike.

Nikkita Lyons faces Zena Sterling. Bloom wants someone else to coach Zena and show some personality and physicality. Booker says to give him 60 minutes and he will show us a different Zena Sterling. The coaches want to do a cheer but Booker won't.

We hear from Jaime Garcia. He says he did soccer until he did wrestling. He said he did wrestling instead of learning English. He says he dropped out of studying Psychology as WWE offered him a contract. Gargano says he has a soft spot for indy wrestlers. Gargano says there's something special about Chris Island and wants him to be himself.

Jamie Garcia vs Chris Island

We are at the Evolve arena for this.

JG waistlock takedowns him and CI goes out to stall. CI pulls JG's shoulder into the ropes. JG dropkicks him then flying shoulders him. CI spinebusters him then hits mounted forearms. CI chokes JG with tape over the bottom rope.

CI curbstomps JG into the mat. CI pounds on him in the corner. JG grabs him to try and get up and is pounded on. CI neckbreakers him. CI cranks his head. JG backdrops him and hits forearms. JG claymore kicks him. JG does water wheel drop variation for 2.

JG hits spine forearms and germans him. CI lariats him. CI gtuwrenches him into a knee to the face and pins him.

Thoughts: It was one of the better Chris Island matches we have seen. I thought he did okay as the rougher heel here and Garcia was alright enough as the face.

Gargano says Garcia could have sold his neck a bit more. He  tells them there will be a lot of opinions on who you are but all that matters is who you are. Island thinks he's taking off to the moon right now.

Bloom says the heel Island has more possibilities and he showed him some range. Island says he was waiting to hear that. Bloom tells him to stop pandering to the people before making the cover.

Nathan Cranton says Mike DeRudder is impressive. Mike says NC is his friend. Owens says NC's act is ripping off Triple H's old posh gimmick. Owens tells NC to show his gritty side. NC wants to use the ref as a shield in his match.

Nathan Cranton vs Mike DeRudder

Mike backs up NC in the corner. NC forearms him in the spine. Mike headflips out of a wristlock and NC pulls him down by the hair. Mike reverse monkey flips him then flying headscissors him. Mike dropkicks him.

Mike's up and over is blocked and he is crotched up top. NC lariats him down to the floor. NC hits mounted shots outside and bangs his head off the commentary table. NC uppercuts him and Mike sunset flips him for 2. Mike armdrags him but NC turns it into a bulldog choke.

Mike backs him up in the corner. Mike double jump springboard dropkicks him. Mike triple jump diving cutters him for 2.

NC hides behind the ref and messes with him. Mike takes a stun gun and NC curbstomps him with the knee for 2. NC is knocked off the buckles. Mike top rope ssp's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a nice little match here. NC had decent looking offense as the heel and Mike did his flying. These guys are above LFG and really shouldn't be here. They are just miles above what a Chris Island can do.

Kevin Owens says everything they do looks great but he didn't see the emotion behind it. Owens says he didn't see the urgency when NC threw him out.

Matt Bloom says he loves NC's music. Matt says they are TV company and says NC's back was facing the camera too much.

Booker T talks to Nikkita Lyons and Zena Sterling. Zena says she's always had Bubba as he coach. She says she never worked with Booker before. Booker tells Zena to be a fighter and says she's playing wrestler. He says she needs his expert tutelage. He tells her to react and not act.

Nikkita tells Zena they are here to have fun and let the crowd feel their emotions. Booker tells them not to rush.

Nikkita Lyons vs Zena Sterling

We are at the NXT arena for this.

They lock up. Zena elbows the arm and wristlocks her. NL throws her down by the arm. They do a double knuckle lock and Zena overhead throws her. Zena does a fireman's carry. Zena lariats her for 2. NL backhands her and knees her in the ribs.

NL hits punches to the gut. NL suplexes her for 2. Zena hits shots to the ribs. NL michinoku drivers her for 2. Zena hits punches on her. Zena hits lariats and backdrops her. Zena backsplashes her. NL spin kicks her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad. Nikkita really connected on some of her kicks and punches. Zena didn't get all that much offense here. It was one of Nikkita's better showings.

The wrestlers are happy with their match after. Booker asks if they felt like they learned something. Booker says Zena's punches could have been better and he says he never did a lot of punches. Zena says she's proud of herself for trying something different. She feels more pressure and confidence.

Overall thoughts: This show and its format is pretty straight forward. The wrestlers and coaches pick something to work on during a match, they do the match then review it after. The big problems the show runs into is when WWE fires someone while the show is going on and that they feature different people each week, so they can't always follow up on various wrestlers. It was an unoffensive and acceptable show. There's nothing must see here. The wrestling was better than usual though on this one and I liked all 3 matches.

WWE LFG 6/7/2026 Season 3, Episode 7

WWE LFG 6/7/2026 Season 3, Episode 7

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-5312026-season-3-episode-6.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-6142026-season-3-episode-8.html

We see Keanu Carver working out. He talks about putting in work and says his goal is to be NXT champ and he outworks everyone. Shawn Michael comes up to him and says he's not popular here but they could use his attitude on NXT if he doesn't feel like changing. Keanu agrees and says he's done with LFG, so he doesn't have to answer questions.

Thoughts: This feels like this wasn't supposed to air here as it was random.

The coaches talk. Johnny Gargano is with them this week while Natalya and Bubba aren't. Bloom tells him to coach Harlem Lewis vs Tate Wilder. Bloom says Tate will be a fan favorite but he needs to see more emotion and less motion (as if Johnny knows about that). Masyn Holiday faces PJ Vasa and Booker T needs to coach them. Booker says she's new and asks what they expect. Bloom says she's a tool box and needs to use the tools different. Owens says he was ousted out of commentary because he doesn't have any rings and blames Booker. Booker says he has nothing to do with it. Kevin Owens has Elijah Holyfield vs Apollo Crews. We are told Crews liked Elijah and wanted to work with him.

Johnny Gargano tells Tate and Lewis they gotta be coachable and tries to tell them not to do too much. Gargano says he was told no in 2015 then was with NXT until 2021.

Lewis says he saw an Evolve DVD where Johnny wrestled on the show. Lewis says it's cool to pick his brain and he had so many good ideas. Lewis says he thought Tate was a pansy at first but he's tougher than he is given credit for.

Tate Wilder vs Harlem Lewis

We are the Evolve arena for this. They lock up. Lewis side headlock takeovers him and Tate side headlock takeovers him. Lewis headscissors him. Lewis slams him. Tate dropkicks him out. Tate 2nd rope moonsaults him outside.

Tate corner lariats him. Tate walks up the buckles and twisting crossbodies him. Tate springboards and is speared down. Tate recovers outside. Lewis drops him face first on the buckles then throat first on the ropes. Lewis this a big lariat for 2. Booker says Lewis has everything but he's missing something.

Tate enzugiri's Lewis. Owens says he acts intimidating. Tate hits shots on Lewis. Tate hits a springboard shot on him. Tate hits running forearms and they say Owens looks tired. Tate hits kicks then twisting suplexes him for 2.

Tate headbutts him down off the buckles. Lewis catches his crossbody then jackhammers him to win.

Thoughts:
It was all Tate flying and Lewis swatting him down and overpowering him. They cut away at times so who knows what we missed. It was average but they had the right idea.

Tate says he couldn't see out of his right eye. Lewis says they didn't have the people in their match and says the match was flat. Tate says he knew something was messed up but he tried to get through it. Bloom says he's proud of them and tells Lewis not to poke his opponent's eye out in the first 30 seconds. Bloom says Tate has to find the kink in his armor when running through offense.

Booker talks to Vasa and Masyn. He says PJ needs to believe in herself. He says Masyn has charisma and will be in a sink or swim situation. Masyn says PJ is a force and she will get her @ss kicked today.

Masyn Holiday vs PJ Vasa

Masyn comes out without Layla Diggs. PJ rams her in the corner and hits corner spears. PJ hits shots to the gut then corner splashes her twice. PJ side slams her for 2. PJ misses a legdrop and Masyn does a splash on her. PJ catches her in the air and Masyn flying euros her for 2.

PJ black hole slams her for 2. PJ backbreakers her twice. PJ spinning side slams her for 2. PJ kneels on her back and chinlocks her. PJ misses a spear and Masyn sunset flips her for 2. PJ lariats her down then misses a splash.

Masyn forearms her over then neckbreakers her. PJ misses a corner splash. Masyn cradles her and pins her.

Thoughts: Masyn looked green here. She isn't that athletically gifted and isn't that great at the basics. Nothing she did looked good and PJ didn't really quite destroy her like she should have. It was so-so.

Booker says they executed some stuff but Masyn got in trouble when she worried about what she can do for her. Booker says they ran the ropes too much and ran too much. Booker says if they are sitting on their @sses, the fans will too. Booker says they did a great job. PJ says she wants to work on being a monster.

Bloom says PJ needs to put more force into throwing her in the corner. Bloom says PJ needs to work on her emotions after almost getting pinned. Masyn is told to work on her clotheslines. Bloom says he wants Masyn's strikes to look tighter.

Owens, Apollo Crews and Elijah Holyfield talk. Owens says to show his potential. Crews says he's been with WWE for over a decade. Owens says he saw himself in Elijah. Elijah says he looked up to Crews since he has been here. Owen says he gave Crews and Eli ideas even though they didn't need it. Owens says to go for a suplex if something gets messed up.

Apollo Crews vs Elijah Holyfield

We are at the NXT arena for this.Crews was fired a few weeks before this aired.

They lock up.  Crews side headlocks him. They shoulder battle and Crews is knocked out of the ring. Crews takes a back elbow then hits his own back elbow. Eli hits him in the gut and corner spears him. Eli misses a corner spear.

Crews pounds on Eli's arm then dropkicks him. Crews drops him for 2. Crews backdrops him. Crews misses an elbow drop. Eli half-nelson slams him. They fight outside and Eli punches the post when Crews moves. Eli holds his hand and Crews rolls him up and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a simple bout. I liked the finish. Crews didn't really do his flying here and this didn't get a lot of time to play out. They did what they could with the few minutes they got here.

Crews says you know if every match was good or bad after you did it. Shawn tells Eli not to just stand there after tackles. Eli ays he could be more natural and fluid. Crews says he will ride with him to the top. Crews says Eli reminds him of himself and says the sky is the limit for him.

Owens says to remember to sell what happened and says Eli could have sold his arm more. Owens tells Eli to have Bloom put him on as many shows as possible to get better. He says he could see Eli being on NXT next week. Crews says they need to explore this further and to be on the look out as we never know might happen (lol).

Overall thoughts:
It was similar to the other episodes this season. It's straightforward and makes sense. We see different people every episode so it's hard for them to build stories. At least we don't have the worked-worked shoots anymore. There's nothing must see and it's probably best viewed as a documentary style piece. What we got was fine.

WWE LFG 5/31/2026 Season 3, Episode 6

WWE LFG 5/31/2026 Season 3, Episode 6

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-5242026-season-3-episode-5.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-672026-season-3-episode-7.html

We see Elio LaFleur arrive at the Performance Center. He says he's been training since he was 14 and is now here 10 years later. We see him practicing. He says he does stuff no one else does. He says things were hard in the beginning and says we will see stuff we haven't seen before. He says he hopes we enjoy it.

Matt Bloom, Owens, Bubba, Booker and Natalya talk. They ask how Kevin Owens did on commentary. Bloom offers Owens the chance to do commentary for 2 matches. Nat has Carlee Bright vs Bayley Humphrey. Bloom says he wants to see Bay take care of Carlee. Nat says she was impressed by Carlee. Elijah Holyfield vs Malik Blade is also happening. Blade is coming off an injury and is trying out a new character. Booker says Blade needs to show up tonight. Mike Derudder faces Elio Lefleur. Bloom says Shawn wants to see Elio. Bloom says he wants to see how Elio can express himself with a mask on. Bloom wants everyone to do a cheer and he can't make it happen.

Nat checks out Bayley Humphrey. Carlee says Bay is amazing and no one is built like her. She say she trusts Bay with her life. Nat wants Carlee to make some noise. Bay says Nat is fun to work with and can get you fired up. Carlee says Nat is the best. Nat tells them to show them who they are.

Bayley Humphrey vs Carlee Bright

We are at the Evolve arena for this. Carlee is already fired while Bay is on NXT. Kevin Owens is on commentary for this.

Bay backs up CB in the corner and on the ropes on the lock up. CB says she pulled her hair and they shove each other. Bay shoulders her over. CB is swung by the hair. CB double knees Bay out of he corner, clips her and dropkicks her from behind. Bay drops CB gut first on the top rope.

We go to break and return. CB is thrown hard into the corner and goes down. CB hit shots to the gut and Bay knee's her in the gut. Bay torture racks her. CB hits shots to the gut then hits chops to escape. CB flying headscissors Bay into the buckles. CB 2nd rope moonsaults her for 2. CB standing moonsaults her for 2 then does it again. Bay picks her up while laying on the mat then backbreakers her. Bay does a powerbomb lift into a powerslam and pins her.

Thoughts
: I liked what we got here. CB did some flying and was fine as a face and Bay used her power against her. I didn't agree with Carlee getting fired and this didn't change my mind.

Nat says Bay was a mountain to climb and says Bay is scary when she screams. Nat says she thought it was so good. Carlee said it made her heart burst. She says she can't let the legends down.

Bloom says Carlee needs to make more noise on bumps and wants her to sell more. Bloom says less is more but he's proud of them.

Booker T talks to Malik Blade and Elijah Holyfield. Booker says they have known each other for 4 years and they only had 2 convos. Blade says he's been here since 2021. Booker says Blade is still trying to figure things out. Blade says he'd hold advice from Booker forever. Elijah says he's happy to work with Booker again. Booker says to give the fans what they want to see and says the wrestlers are the puppet masters.

Apollo Crews, who is also now fired, is in the back watching the next match. He says Elijah Holyfield reminds him of himself.

Malik Blade vs Elijah Holyfield

This is in the Evolve arena. Blade has already been fired. Eli pushes him off the lock up. Blade hits chops. Eli blocks a hiptoss and hits a hard lariat. Eli corner spears him. Eli misses a corner spear. Blade standing dropkicks him. Eli samoan drops him.

Eli hits shoulderblocks then powerslams him. Eli drops him with an uppercut and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. The finish was a ltitle sudden. Eli's offense looked good as usual. Blade didn't get that much in but chops and a dropkick. It wasn't anything too special due to the time limits.

Booker says it looked like Blade learned a lot. Booker says he needs Eli on the center line when doing powerslams. Eli says he loves Booker. Apollow Crews says Eli impressed him.

Eli and Blade talk to Bloom. Bloom tells Eli to try stuff more. BLoom says he wants to see Blade get better at something and wants him to step out so he can be great.

Kevin Owens talks to Elio LeFleur. Elio says it's hard to show emotion with his mask. Owens says Elio is reserved. Elio says Mike Derudder is his special opponent and they have a good connection.

Bubba asks Mike where he's from. Mike says he's a 2nd gen wrestler and his dad is Patrick Derudder. He says he wants to be a WWE star, not a pro wrestler. Bubba asks if Mike has wrestled Elio before. Mike says Elio is the best partner for him.

Bubba makes Elio and Mike show what they have. Owens says he doesn't see the size difference between them that Elio sees. Bubba says perception is reality. Owens says he doesn't see the 35lbs between them. Mike wants to take off his shirt to show it. Mike says he takes this personally as he diets harder. Owens agrees.

Bubba says they need to do what they do and live or die with what they came up with. Owens then talks to them in French. Bubba is surprised. Owens tells them to do it their way.

The two wrestlers have their shirts off and Mike asks if we can see the size difference. Elio has to show his anger and Mike needs to show off.

Mike Derudder vs Elio Lafleur

I've actually seen these guys wrestle each other already prior to WWE. If they let them do their thing, it'll be a flippy indy spotfest. This is in the NXT arena.

They lock up and Mike puts him in the corner. Elio armdrags him then Mike flying headscissors him. Mike misses a corner charge and Elio 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Mike catches Elio's tope con hilo and slams him on the apron with it.

Mike drops him with a forearm for 2. Mike facelocks him. Mike hits a hard lariat from the side. Elio tries to fight back and hits a flurry of shots. Elio springboard twisting crossbodies him. Elio step up enzugiri's him. Elio 2nd rope moonsaults him outside.

Elio springboard flying knees him for 2. Elio springboards again, Mike catches him and Elio hurricanrana's him for 2. Mike flips him with a lariat. Mike suicide dives him outside. Mike top rope splashes him inside for 2. Elio hits a flurry of shots on the top rope. Elio headscissors drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: They didn't let them go all out here and they did about 1/3rd of what they usually do. That made for a better match though. Elio tried to show some fire as an underdog but that was about it story wise. It was definitely a moves based match but it was alright.

Shawn Michaels tells both that they did a good job. Shawn says they will move him to NXT right away and tells him the work will start now. Elio says this is what he wanted his whole life. Mike thanks him in English and says what we saw tonight is what they do everywhere in the world. Mike congratulates him and says he hopes he's next to go to NXT. We then see Elio sign an NXT contract. Bubba says they did an excellent job and have bright futures past NXT.

Overall thoughts: It was another fairly straight to the point episode. The coaches told the wrestlers what to do, they tried to do it then they got evaluated after. It made sense and it's a simple show. Maybe it won't knock your socks off, but it's better than the worked shoots and games they did in the first two seasons. They really do have to stop featuring people they are going to fire though as it comes across weird. Mike and Elio got to do a bit more than wrestlers usually get to do more here and that was the standout bout on this one. You don't really need to see this one.

WWE LFG 5/24/2026 Season 3, Episode 5

WWE LFG 5/24/2026 Season 3, Episode 5

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-5172026-season-3-episode-4.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-lfg-5312026-season-3-episode-6.html

We are at the Performance Center. Elijah Holyfield is back from injury. Johnny Russo, who is the lead writer of NXT, says he likes to write out promos then have the wrestler tweak it to make it feel like it's theirs. Elijah says he's back to establish himself and show everyone he would have won if he didn't get injured in season 2 of WWE LFG.

Elijah Holyfield does a promo in the ring at the NXT Arena. He says he was building momentum then he tore his bicep. He says he got p!ssed as if he didn't get injured, he would have won LFG Season 2. He says his body was out for 5 months but his mind kept gaining knowledge. He says now that he's healed, anyone who faces him is in for a scary sight. He says his body and mind are stronger. He says his uppercut is ready to break jaws.

Matt Bloom, Booker T, Natalya, Kevin Owens and Bubba are there. Tonight is Braxton Cole vs Andre Chase. Bloom says Chase is a mechanic. Bubba says they aren't bringing him to LFG, but borrowing him from NXT. Kali Armstrong is called a stud by Bloom and she's facing Sirena Linton. Bloom says this is a big match for Linton and she has to fight from underneath. She says Sirena has been here for a while and she's in a spot you don't want to be in. Nathan Cranton then fights Elijah Holyfield. Bloom wants Elijah to build on what he started. Booker says this is more of an opportunity for Nathan.

Owens says he doesn't have a match and asks if he can do commentary. Booker is bothered by this. Owens says Booker blazed the trail. Booker then laughs.

Andre Chase, who is now fired, talks about himself. He says he does it all here in NXT. He says he's been in NXT for 5 years and has been wrestling for 19 years. He says he was a young wrestler once. He says he got better from more experienced wrestlers giving him feedback. Chase says Cole takes feedback well. Bubba says it's smart guy vs smart guy.

Bubba talks to Chase and Cole. He says the fans don't know Cole is smart and they need to show the fans that. Bubba says a heel cheats as they can't outwrestle the face. Cole says Bubba is the perfect coach for him and he needs to manipulate people. Cole says the goal is put on TV level performance so he can get on NXT.

Owens asks Booker T for advice. Booker tells him to stick to the stats and add some soundbytes. Owens wants to use the shucky ducky quack quack line.

Owens, Vic Joseph and Jeremy Borash are on commentary for the next match.

Andre Chase vs Braxton Cole

We are at the Evolve arena for this. Thea Hail, Uriah Connors and Harlem Lewis are in the front row. Cole reads a book on his way to the ring.

They shake hands. Cole wristlocks him. AC reverses it. Cole rolls out then AC pulls him down as he tries to get up. AC crossbodies him then side headlock takeovers him. Cole punches him then flapjacks him onto the top buckle. Cole neckbreakers him for 2.

Cole chokes AC on the ropes. Cole cravates him and does a nice job with it. AC rolls him and boots him out of the corner. Cole ddt's him. Cole twists AC's head. Cole mocks the crowd's chant. AC suplexes him.

Cole misses a corner splash and is hit with a swinging neckbreaker for 2. AC chops him in the corner. AC is sent shoulder first into the corner. Cole grabs his book. The ref takes it and he low blows AC. Cole rolls up AC and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't see a lot of the story outside of the finish. The bout was acceptable though with no real botches, just there was not so much story.

Bubba talks to Cole and Chase after. Bubba says the book was the finish and everyone needed to know about the book. Bubba says he wanted to see him reading the book and says he wanted to see the ref take it from him. Bubba says he doesn't expect Cole to know that.

Bloom talks to Chase and Cole. Bloom tells him to get heat before the pin and tells him not to be afraid to make an @ss out of yourself. Bloom thanks Chase for doing this. Bloom says he sees Cole getting better. Chase says Cole listens.

We see Sirena Linton working out with Kali Armstrong. Nat says they are doing too much in their match and will be tired out. Nat thinks their match will be amazing. Nat say she sees the b!tch in her. Sirena says they can put on a banger. Kali says she likes working with people who are newer than her.

Kali Armstrong vs Sirena Linton

We are in the Evolve arena for this. Sirena Linton is already fired.

Kali takes her down and head shoves her. Kali takes her down by the hair. Kali wristlocks her. SL backflips out. Bubba says SL got comfortable and Nat says she doesn't want her to get the budget cuts phone call.

SL wristlocks her. Kali rolls and kips up. Kali side headlocks her. Kali shoulders her over. Kali snapmares her then SL snapmares her back. SL takes a reverse monkey flip which looked good. Kali corner spears her. Kali corner facekicks SL.

Kali hits her in the gut. SL sunset flips her for 2. SL rolls her up for 2. SL cradles her for 2. SL hits forearms then runs her over. SL leg kicks her and cartwheel back elbows her in the corner. SL bulldogs her then basement dropkicks her.

Kali kicks her in the gut. SL backrolls her for 2. SL back elbows her then misses a flip off the top. Kali powerslams her. Kali runs the ropes and running shoulders her over. Kali pins her.

Thoughts:
The crowd didn't react as much as they should have. Linton looked a lot better here than she did in the past and they had a power vs flying match. This wasn't bad.

Natalya says both girls did great and loved Linton's monkey flip. Kali boots her in the gut and hits corner spears. Nat says she loves Kali as a heel. Bloom tells them to stick with the simple stories and puts over the reverse monkey flip spot.

Linton is crying and says she wants to be the best. Bloom tells her to try and enjoy moments like this.

Nathan Cranton talks Elijah Holyfield's injury. Booker talks to NC. NC says he doesn't care who Elijah's dad is and he wants to be the most exciting guy in the ring. Booker says it's easy to get yourself over but everyone looks at you when you get someone else over. Booker calls NC a student of the game.

Booker tells Elijah that time off is your worst enemy. He says he wants to see patience from him and says not to rush. We see Elijah and NC practice the match.

Elijah Holyfield vs Nathan Cranton

This is at the NXT arena.

They lock up and Eli backs him up in the corner. NC waistlocks him then Eli takes him down off of it. NC front facelocks him and shoulders him over. Eli flying knees him for 2. Eli slams him for 2.

Eli grabs him by the hair. NC whips him out of the ring. Eli is sent into the post. NC running boots him and clubs him. NC backbreakers him for 2. NC suplexes him for 2. Eli backdrops him and NC keeps his side headlock on.

Eli flying shoulders him and then shoulders him over. Eli spinebusters him. NC misses a rainmaker and NC does a great sell for an uppercut. Eli pins him.

Thoughts: I liked the finish a lot as it was safe and looked good. NC was noticeably thinner here than he was on Evolve. I think NC needed to show a bit more personality here. This was basically all about waiting for Eli's comeback where he could be explosive. The finish helped this one but it wasn't the most exciting bout. I'd say it was average.

Booker loves the match in the back. Eli says this match gave him confidence. Shawn Michaels talks to them. He says they are going to make everyone scared of Eli's right hand. Shawn says people can't be tossing him around.

NC says it's great to always get feedback and says he was told to sell his size more. Eli says it'll be the start of a great season and he'll be ready if he gets the contract.

Overall thoughts: It was a pretty straight forward and understandable show. It made sense. The coaches talked about the match before it happened and then we heard from the wrestlers. The match happened then they reviewed the match afterwards. This was fine and there was nothing wrong with this show, though it's not must see TV.

WWE LFG 5/17/2026 Season 3, Episode 4

WWE LFG 5/17/2026 Season 3, Episode 4

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-592026-season-3-episode-3.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-5242026-season-3-episode-5.html

We see Tate Wilder working on a motorcycle with his family. They talk about him finding out his wife was pregnant. Tate talks about how things can change at any second in WWE and he doesn't want to let his family down.

Bloom, Booker, Terry Taylor and Bubba Ray are at a table talking. We hear from Terry Taylor about his career. Bloom says Terry knows how to deliver the message with love. Today's matches are Bayley Humphrey vs Nikkita Lyons, Chris Island vs Tate Wilder (Bloom wants Chris to show his real personality and thinks Tate is bored with the basics. Zena Sterling vs Chantal Monroe is the last match. Bloom says they all love Zena but it's been the same Zena for 2 years and she's having trouble being anything but the bubbly girl. Bloom wants Monroe to dial it up and show her personality. They debate what Zena's character is.

Booker talks to Nikkita. He says she has a big test with her. Booker says Nikkita has the showbiz mentality but says the timing has to be right. Booker says she has to dial back her sex appeal.

Bayley talks about not getting past the first round in LFG 2. She says she's been changing her role to a face role. Booker says Bayley needs to laugh and believe in herself.

Bayley Humphrey vs Nikkita Lyons

We are at the Evolve arena for this.

Bay backs her up in the corner and lets go. NL side headlocks her. They collide and Nl goes down. NL hits shots to the gut. NL high kicks her. Bay throws her and shoulders her over. Bay slams her for 2. Bay's throat is pulled down over the top rope. NL hits mounted forearms then a split leg drop.

NL superkicks her in the gut and suplexes her for 2. NL does a grounded cobra twist. NL then does a standing cobra twist. Bay hiptosses her. NL high kicks her then Bay suplexes her. Bay hits lariats then facekicks her. Bay standing moonsaults her for 2. NL knees her in the gut. Bay chokeslams her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good as expected. Nikkita is not that great of a worker and when she's the best worker in the match, it's only going so far. Bayley didn't impress as a face. I was surprised by Bayley's standing moonsault.

Booker asks Nikkita how they felt. Booker says Nikkita did good as the general. Bayley thinks they needed to slow down and Booker agrees.

Matt Bloom tells Bayley and Nikkita they are both big but yet were doing snap suplexes. Bayley says she's green and inexperienced but her confidence is stronger. They then talk about the spike's on Nikkita's bra.

Terry Taylor says Chris Island and Tate Wilder hadn't seen The Rock and Hulk Hogan wrestle. He shows them the match in a kitchen. Tate explains the match.

We see clips of Tate and Chris practicing amateur wrestling. Chris says what he was doing wasn't working. Terry tries to coach them through the match. Chris says it's not about the moves but the before and after. Terry wants the audience to see joy and pain.

Chris Island vs Tate Wilder

This is in the Evolve Arena. Chris Island has already been fired while Tate just made an NXT appearance. Hank and Tank are in the front row. Bubba complains about Chris being in jeans and sneakers. Booker says it's the same guy we have been seeing.

Chris slams Tate down and talks trash. Tate waistlocks him and they roll on the mat. Chris boots him in the gut. Tate dropkicks him then armdrags him twice. Chris kips up and is taken down by the arm.

Tate moonsaults over him and armdrags him. Chris short arm lariats him. Tate sends him hard into the buckles and backbreakers him. Tate back elbows him and Chris lariats him from behind. Chris backdrops him. Chris camel clutches him.

They trade punches and Tate hits running forearms. Tat flying shoulders him. Tate twisting brainbusters him. Tate hits a top rope moonsault and wins.

Thoughts: Tate was an impressive face here. Chris tried a bit more than usual and wasn't that bad, but these situations are just awkward when you go into random cold matches like this.

Terry talks to the wrestlers and wants Chris to try to win more. Terry wants Tate to be wilder. Tate says Terry shut them down and they didn't hit the emotion side. Bloom asks who the Chris we saw tonight was and says he was screaming and yelling. Bloom tells him he looked fake and says he doesn't want to be screaming. He says they executed well but they are story tellers not stuntmen. Chris says he got the same feedback for 2 years and he has hit the wall.

Chantel Monroe talks about being a gymnast and has only been wrestling for 2 years. Bubba tells her she's going into this as the bad guy. Bubba explains that being a heel is wanting to hurt and embarrass the face. Zena says she's excited to work with Bubba. Bubba wants fire out of Zena. Bubba says Chantel needs to beat the crap out of Zena and make her fight for her life. Chantel wants to slap her and Bubba recommends she does so on his own. Bubba tells them to do what they do and tells Zena to show the next gear. They then do a group cheer.

Zena Sterling vs Chantel Monroe

We are at the NXT arena here.

CM snapmares her and taunts her. CM backs her up in the corner then double chops her. Zena side headlocks her then front facelocks her. CM forearms and boots her. Zena hits shoulderblocks and fires up. Bubba doesn't want her to pump her fists at her waist.

Zena walks into a superkick. CM hits back elbows and boots on her in the corner. CM hits a corner meteora. CM butt drops her back then knee drops her for 2. CM headscissors her. CM misses a knee drop and a corner meteora.

CM slaps her. Zena fires up and hits shots. Zena hits running lariats. Zena double underhook suplexes her. CM eye rakes her and jumping codebreakers her for the win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one but they did what they were supposed to do here. CM did some basic heeling and showed personality. Zena got her comeback spot and was put down.

Bubba asks them how they did. CM says her striking and pacing could have been better. Zena says she's happy with their showing. Bubba says they did well. We see Bubba dancing and watching this.

Bubba says Zena needs to work on her aggression. Bubba tells Zena to step up her game. Bubba says something is missing in Zena and they need to get something different out of her. They say Zena still has a way to go.

Overall thoughts:
It's always a bit hard to rate this show. Today, they gave the wrestlers a task for the match, they had the match then the coaches rated them afterwards. It made sense and that may be the best we can really get out of this format, minus having them do an actual wrestling brand. The first two matches weren't that great, though Tate Wilder impressed. The main was short but acceptable. Neither Natalya or Kevin Owens were on this episode. I wouldn't really recommend this one and there's nothing you really need to see here.

WWE LFG 5/10/2026 Season 3, Episode 3

WWE LFG 5/10/2026 Season 3, Episode 3

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-522026-season-3-episode-2.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-5172026-season-3-episode-4.html

Matt Bloom, Booker T, Kevin Owens, Natalya and Bubba Ray Dudley talk. Matt wants to set up a tag match with PJ Vasa and Sirena Linton vs Layla Diggs and Masyn Holiday. Matt says Masyn is new to the game and doesn't understand what they do, but she's picking it up.

Matt says Trill London has so much charisma and says he only sees Jeff Hardy in him. Bubba says, "you think?". Matt says Trill gets injured more than they would like. Matt says Braxton Cole is an intelligent athlete and a bit of an overthinker. Matt says they want him to go off of his instincts.

They say Kam Hendrix vs Tate Wilder is also tonight. Kam needs to be ready under his new name and says he can be hokey. Matt says Tate rides bulls and likes to ride bulls. Matt says he can't get bored with the basics. Matt says both guys will cut a promo. Matt says Kam has all the tools and needs to put them  together.

Bubba talks to Cole and asks who he is. Cole is from New Hampshire. He played football and wasn't thinking of wrestling. He says he got a random message from WWE to tryout and he had a contract. Bubba tells Trill London to make him forget about Jeff Hardy and says to give me Trill London. Trill says he's not a Jeff copy but he has some of his moves.

Bubba says they need to show how Cole is smart and how he outsmarted Trill. Bubba tells Trill to do what he can do and get the people chanting for Trill.

Braxton Cole vs Trill London

Trill has already been cut by WWE. We are at the Evolve arena.

Trill trips him off front facelock that he was put in. Trill dropkicks him from behind. Trill baseball slides and Cole catches him in the ring skirt. Cole boots Trill in the head. Cole grabs Trill by the head then bringing neckbreakers him for 2.

Cole rips Trill's shirt and they chop each other. Cole stomps him. Cole release suplexes him for 2. Cole sleepers him and Trill backdrops him out. Trill hits running forearms. Trill tries a flapjack and Cole tries to roll and gets dropped on his neck.

Trill dropkicks him out then slingshot plancha's him. Bubba says Trill is reckless and Booker says Trill is off balance. Booker says Trill isn't a flyer. Trill messes up a slingshot seated moonsault. Cole corner splashes him. Booker says Trill is gassed. Trill wins with a top rope swanton.

Thoughts:
As always, keep in mind that they let us see what they want to in these matches and they focus on what they want to. Cole got most of the offense here. Trill got sloppy towards the end when it was his turn. Trill wasn't real effective as a face in this and it wasn't that good.

Bubba says things were going well. Bubba says if Trill does fancy stuff, it's all on Trill. He says Trill couldn't gets his legs up at the end and he needs to figure out what he's good at flying wise and don't do what he can't do. Trill says he wants to keep doing stuff until he gets it right. Bloom says he always sees his name on medical reports and says he needs to find a moveset that keeps him healthy. Cole says they had the crowd and lost them. Cole says it's all about learning and getting better and there's some things he took that he felt like he couldn't do right 10/10 times.

Booker talks to Diggs and Masyn. Masyn ran track in college. She says she prefers to wrestle with Diggs than wrestle alone. We see clips of them practicing their match and they barely connect. Booker says we only want the face to shine, the heel to get heat then we want out. Diggs says they are used to working heel but are faces here.

PJ Vasa and Sirena Linton vs Layla Diggs and Masyn Holiday

Sirena was just cut about 2 weeks ago with Trill. We are the Evolve arena.

SL boots Diggs in the gut. Diggs flips out of a snapmare. Diggs armlocks her. Masyn 2nd rope double axe handles SL's arm. Masyn armlocks her. Masyn hiptosses her and armdrags her into an armlock. Diggs trips PJ and PJ Front facelocks her. Diggs' team hits a double boot on PJ. PJ double clotheslines them.

PJ corner splashes Masyn then she corner hip attacks her. SL la silla's Masyn in the corner for 2. PJ slams Masyn then misses a falling headbutt drop. Diggs and SL get in. Diggs hits a leg lariat then hits kicks on PJ. Diggs flips out of a lariat and overhead kicks her.

Diggs boots SL out of the corner. SL is held for natural selection and pinned.

Thoughts: As always, they see what they want us to see. We saw most of this without a lot of interruptions from the coaches. It was mostly a clean match though Diggs has a habit of being sloppy. Diggs is pretty much in the same spot she started in 2-3 years ago and Masyn is more basic. Both are on Evolve and I'm skeptical about either being around that long. PJ was fine. This was average.

Booker talks to the girls and said they did a good job. Booker says there wasn't a lot of flaws and says the delivery and execution was good. Bloom tells Sirena and PJ to ask what they can get better at if they are ever told a match is awesome.

Matt wants Masyn and Diggs to be more clear faces. Matt says they flew through PJ coming in. Sirena says there's always something to improve on. Matt tells them all to stay the course.

We meet Tate Wilder. He's from Arizona and grew up with 5 brothers. He says they grew up doing rodeo and extreme sports. He says he did anything that pushed the limits and we see him flipping off of stuff. He says he spent the first 15 months in WWE injured.

Kam Hendrix jokes saying he's excited for his first season of WWE. He says people don't understand that everything matters. Natalya says nice guys finish last and says those people become doormats. Kam says he feels like the clock is ticking on him. Kam says if you aren't evolving, anyone can be let go.

Owens practices promos with Tate. Owens says to call out the biggest guy in the world. Owens says he's a level headed guy. Owens says he doesn't look like Tate and doesn't know how he would dress as he never lived that way.

Tate Wilder does a promo before his match. He says there's a lot of talented wrestlers on the roster. He says he'll take the crazy risks and jump off the cliff to see if he can fly. He says he acts first and thinks second. He says if you want to make your name on NXT, you call out Kam Hendrix. He says if Kam thinks it's showtime, he will prove it's my time.

Kam Hendrix comes out. Kam says this is his show. Kam says Tate's daredevil stuff got him to LFG. Kam says he likes that he's taking a swing at the baddest man but it's stupid. Kam says he succeeds where he is about to fail.

Thoughts
: Neither one of those were good but they are cold promos with wrestlers that are only so much known by the crowd.

Kam Hendrix vs Tate Wilder

Kam shoves him and piefaces him. Tate slaps him then dropkicks him. Kam punches him then hits him in the spine. Kam slams him. Tate chokes him on the ropes. Kam hits punches in the corner then backbreakers him. Tate cobra clutch swinging drops him.

Kam butt drops Tate's back. Tate hits shots to the gut. Kam knee lifts him. Kam cobra twists him. Tate facekicks him then chest kicks him down. Tate hits shoulderblocks. Tate twisting suplexes him for 2. Tate asai moonsaults him for 2. Kam flying single leg dropkicks him then backdrop uranage's him to win.

Thoughts: It was a decent little match with Tate being an okay face and Kam hitting some good shots. Kam's showtime kick always looks so good and smooth. It was simple and effective...but Tate needs work on the mic.

Kevin Owens says they did good and wants to see what they said to each other. Owens says Kam did something not appreciated towards the end. Kam says it wasn't his best performance. He says he skipped a line. Owens tells Tate his promo sounded good. We see Steve Corino. Owens asks what happened at the end.

Tate says he wanted to beat up Kam for punking him at the end. Kam says he tripped. Tate says  they have actual beef now. Kam says he feels disappointed in himself. Bloom says Kam needs to take a step back and see how he gets bigger.

Matt Bloom talks to Kam. Kam says he didn't feel like himself. Bloom says if you don't make mistakes, you don't grow. Bloom says to watch the match back and see what he picks up. He says he will pull him from LFG for a few weeks. Kam says he didn't feel like himself and says he went home and almost cried. Kam says he told himself he's blowing it. He says it can't happen again.

Thoughts
: Kam has been regularly pushed as a top guy on Evolve and just got on NXT.

Overall thoughts
: It's LFG. It's always a bit of an unusual show to rate. It's always a little out of date due to being taped, things don't pan out as we are lead to believe and we had multiple fired people on this show. The matches are edited and they show us what they want us to see. This episode was a little bit more of a documentary than anything else and that was fine. It was nice to see some behind the scenes stuff and see what the coaches thought about various happenings. If that's something that interests you, you might find some enjoyment out of it. It was nothing must see but it's something different and what we got was alright.
