Jacob Fatu gets on the commentary table before the next match. He yells at Keys' crew and says he's got war with The Bloodline if he wants it. He says he has war on them. Fatu then knocks stuff around.

Sol goes up and over and dropkicks her in the corner. Sol's crossbody is caught. RR springboard twisting crossbodies her for 2. Sol tarantula's her on the ropes and boots her out of the ring. RR crossbodies her outside.

We go to break and return. Sol hits shots to the gut. Sol hits flying shoulders and backcrackers her with her feet. Sol dropkicks her off the buckles. Sol tries a sunset bomb on her on the floor but RR blocks it. Sol tries another and hits it on her on the floor.

Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan run down. Sol hits them and bottom rope springboard tornillos RR and Perez. Sol goes for a sol snatcher but Lyra Valkyria comes out and blocks grabs her. RR hits a one arm powerbomb on Sol and pins her.

Thoughts:
It didn't get a ton of time. What we got was acceptable but the finish was all shenanigans. Sol had a good night here without any botches.

We get the same video we got on Penta vs Fenix from last week. We see Penta and Fenix walk in the back.

Chad Gable comes out to talk. Chad says he wanted to feel satisfied, like he achieved everything when he won the IC Title. He says he realized the real work starts now. He says he starts carving his legacy now. He says he would not be IC champ if it weren't for the Mexican people. He says Raw returns to Mexico in 15 years and he will defend his title there. He then brings out Dragon Lee.

Chad says Lee's match last week with Fenix was awe inspiring and he's one of his favorite talents on the roster. Lee says it's an honor to step in the ring in front of him. Chad says he can decide who he faces in Mexico.

Ethan Page comes out. He says Chad is giving another title opportunity to an undeserving and talentless luchador. Page says to face him if you want a real challenger. Chad says he's on the list of people who deserve a shot and says his name is under Honky Tonk Man. Page tells him to stop being a charity case or he will be a paper champ.

Dragon Lee interrupts. He says Page has a big mouth and he talks too much but says nothing. Lee says to show him right now if Page thinks he's better. Page asks if he's sure that's what he wants. Chad says it's good match to do right here and right now. Chad says the winner can wrestle him in Mexico City for the IC Title.

Winner gets an IC Title shot in Mexico City - Ethan Page vs Dragon Lee

Page waistlock takedowns him. Lee armdrags and flying headscissors him. Lee dropkicks him. Lee side headlocks him. Page shoulders him over. Lee jumps up and is powerslammed down. Page bangs Lee's head off the buckles. Page facekicks him.

Page tries pins on him. Lee hits chops and Page hits corner spears. Lee hits combinacion cabron. Lee corner dropkicks him for 2. Lee tope con hilos outside. We go to break and return. Page does like a cobra clutch backdrop in the ring for 2. Lee cradles him for 2. Lee hits punches. Lee facekicks him and superkicks him in the gut. Lee rebound germans him then superkicks him. Lee shotei's him and tornado ddt's him for 2.

Page throws Lee into Gable, who is in a chair at ringside. Chad goes after Page and the ref stops him. Page pulls the top buckle off. Lee superkicks him. Lee splashes the exposed buckle when Page moves. Page goes for a pin but the ref sees the exposed buckle and won't count.

Page argues with Chad. Lee hits destino and pins Page.

Thoughts: Lee winning was a given since his title match will be in Mexico. It was okay enough and Lee did his usual flying spots. The exposed top buckle spot was not one we usually see here.

Roman Reigns arrives in a car. Roman stares down Fatu. Fatu says it's not looking good for The Uso's. Fatu says if they thought he was a problem, Royce is a problem. Roman says Royce is Fatu's problem and to handle him. Roman says everything else is his problem.

Roman Reigns comes out to talk. He says being the only true champ and the tribal chief is a burden. He says everyone wants what he has. He says he should be celebrating the tournament and talking Rey Fenix and Penta. He says they are earning the title shot unlike everyone else who complains for a title shot. He says we aren't dealing with the disrespect anymore. He says Solo will acknowledge him and he blew his opportunity for LA Knight. He says he's not  our family but he reminds Solo of The Rock.

LA Knight comes out. He says Roman is recycling material from 3 years ago. He says he thought he was the champ that matters. He says Roman is doing things the wrong way but putting his family between them and setting up tournaments he can't compete in. He says he didn't know OTC stood for One Tremendous Coward and says he should say he's scared if he's scared. He says once you whip the horse, you gotta take the ride and the ride starts now.

We then see Solo Sikoa is down and blooded in the back with Pearce and officials checking on him. Fatu is standing nearby. LA Knight goes to check on him. LA blames Fatu and Fatu says it's not him. Roman Reigns then superman punches LA. Roman tells Fatu to handle Royce as he has LA under control.

Dom's head is banged off the buckles and he is corkscrew kicked in the back of the head. Evans springboard diving lariats him. Evans lariats Dom over the timekeeper's rail. Evans runs around the ring and JD nails him hard for the DQ.

Thoughts
: It was short and we didn't get too much of it. Evans did take some hard shots here though before it ended.

JD and Dom beat up Evans after. Joe Hendry comes out to save Evans. Joe double lariats the heels and throws them out. Adam Pearce comes out and says he's tired of this. He says he's restarting this as a tag match.

Joe Hendry and Je'Von Evans vs Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonaugh)

The faces hit the heels outside. JD is thrown over the timekeepers rail then Dom is thrown over it too. Evans runs then dives over the rail onto the heels. We go to break and return. Joe neckbreakers JD for 2. Joe spinning suplexes JD.

Joe spinning lariats Dom. Evans is sent into the post by JD. JD headbutts Joe down. Dom top rope frogsplashes Joe and pins him.

Thoughts:
Just LOL at Joe losing again. I don't know what this company has against him but it sucks and he's better than this. What we got was fine here. Evans tried to interact with a crowd a bit more than usual.

Becky Lynch is being interviewed. Stephanie Vaquer interrupts. Becky says he wasn't helping her, she was just taking free shots on Judgment Day. She says maybe she'd rather take the title off of her than Liv Morgan. Steph says she doesn't need her help. Becky says she owes her one. Steph says no and Becky says she does. Becky says she wants the first shot if Steph wins the title. Steph tells her to stay away from her and says she doesn't deserve the title. Steph says the title deserves herself.

Rey Mysterio shakes hands with Rey Fenix in the back.

Paul Heyman is interviewed about Oba/Brock on Sunday. He picks neither guy. He says it's a match both men must win and neither man can afford to lose. He says it's easy for the winner but asks what happens to the loser. Paul puts over both guys and says Bron is a hard worker. He says we will find out who wins in real time this Sunday.

The Judgment Day talk in the back. Dom says Evans won't be a real problem anymore. Liv laughs at Steph thinking she can beat her next week. Perez says she will have Liv's back if Becky gets involved. Liv says she's not worried and says those girls forget who runs the division. She says she will remind the world that she is the greatest women's champ of all-time.

The announcers say The Uso's and Solo are being evaluated for multiple injuries.

#1 Contender's Tournament Finals - Penta vs Rey Fenix

They shake hands and chop each other. Penta spin kicks him and buzzsaw kicks him. Rey rolls him up for 1. Penta rolls him up for 2. They sweep each other and headflip up together. They then stare down. Rey flying headscissors him and chops him. Rey walks up the buckles, does rope tricks and diving headscissors him.

Rey handsprings and is dropkicked. Penta tope con hilos him outside. We go to break and return. Penta kicks him in the leg for 2. Rey corner enzugiri's him. Rey rope walk kicks him. Rey 2nd rope tornillo's him.

Rey totally misses a handspring cutter. Penta spin kicks him and springboard bulldogs him. Rey swing kicks him, Penta superkicks him and Rey spin kicks him in the head. Both go down. Rey tries to handstand in the corner and is superkicked down.

Penta superkicks him down for 2. Penta tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. We go to break and return. Penta does an up and over backcracker on Rey for 2. Rey kicks Penta over the 2nd rope. Rey double jump moonsaults him for 2.

Rey hits kicks. Penta pops him up and flips him into a powerbomb. They fight on the buckles. Rey flips out of a 2nd rope canadian destroyer. Rey enzugiri's him in the corner. Penta hits a made in Japan for 2.

Penta gets on the commentary table and Rey joins him. Penta hits a made in Japan on him through the commentary table.

Penta hits a made in Japan for 2. Penta cranks back on Rey's arm. Rey rolls into a hurricanrana on him for 2. Penta canadian destroyers him and pins him.

Thoughts: I hated it. It was all flippy indy crap as expected with little selling. These guys are brothers. They shouldn't be putting each other through tables and dropping each other on their heads. They should have been doing technical wrestling with no strikes or dangerous moves. They did the opposite. Awful stuff.

Roman Reigns then walks out with his title. He gets in the ring and holds it up in Penta's face. Penta does his "zero miedo" taunt at him and they end the show.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't a show with heavy starpower. The stars were not in action here and it might as well have been 205 Live with all of the junior heavyweight wrestlers hanging around. The opener was acceptable. Page/Lee was okay. Evans/Dom was short but the tag that followed was fine. I don't like Hendry taking all these L's though. I knew I would hate Penta/Fenix and I did. It was indy crap with horrible logic. The main was one of the weakest main events in Raw history starpower wise. This show was also taped so WWE took it real easy here. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 for the total lack of effort. I thought this was below average.

Mac Davis talks outside. He sees some giant thing with a lot of hair and a skull mask walk into the forest and says we better go back inside.

The Headbangers of WWF fame walk into the building.

Mac Davis interviews The Headbangers. Most says they were invited here by Violent J. Mac says that's BS and says they put a hit on ICP in WWF 30 years ago. Thrasher laughs and says it was a brief introduction to the business. The Head's and Mac accuse each other of lying and the segment ends.

Krule vs. Disco Ray

We haven't seen Ray for a while.

Ray tries to get Krule to dance. Rey does disco dances and Krule is watching. Ray tells him it's his turn then ducks a shot from Krule. Ray backhands him and Krule facekicks him down. Krule hits shots on him in the corner and facekicks him off the apron and into the rails. Krule sends Ray into the rails.

Ray is back body dropped on the apron. Krule corner splashes him twice and running lariats him. Krule full nelson drops him face first on the mat. Krule pins him.

Thoughts
: It was short and it was what it should have been with Krule squashing Ray easily.

The JWO talk to Sally Boy in the back. J tells Sally to get it right or he will slap him. They make Sally say, "we will never die alone, juggalos will carry on, swing our hatchets if we must". The Headbangers walk in and are friendly with Violent J. The Head's say you can't have Lunacy without them. J tells them to bring them all they got as they face 2 Tuff Tony and Willie Mack. The Head's and J shake hands and they say they will see them all later. J then gets serious. He tells Mack and Tony to hurt them tonight. He says he can't believe they took the bait. He says he wants them to do to them what they they did to him and Shaggy 25 years ago in Michigan. He tells them to do it for him as he can't anymore. Sally says something and Mack gets mad.

Vincenzo plays cards with The Outbreak, Disco Ray and Shane Mercer. Ray thinks he won but he has nothing. Shane has 3 Kings. One of The Outbreak spits up cards and growls at the other. Vinny doesn't want to touch the cards. Shane does and Vinny says he has nothing. The other Outbreak member throws chips in and he has a Full House. Vinny gets mad. Dani Mo comes in and says not to yell. She says they are just learning and won. Vinny tells Ray and Shane to do something as they leave.

Mac Davis talks to GCW in the back. Brett is asked what they are doing here and Brett says Vince Russo invited them as their VIP guests. Nick Gage says they are here to do whatever they want. Slade says they are here to hurt people and cause pain. One of the guys then puts a switchblade up in Mac's face. Brett says they are here because of the numbers. He says 2 Tuff Tony and Willie Mack aren't getting it done and they are here to boost ratings. Mac says "boost this" and gives them the middle finger once they have left.

Kerry Morton comes out to talk. Kerry said he had a week to think about what happened in the past with Lunacy. He says he went to defend his battle royal title and was attacked by Caleb Konley. He says if Caleb wants to fight so bad, why doesn't he just whoop him right now? He says he's not asking for sympathy, he just wants the fans to stand behind him one more time. He says Caleb can hit him with a title or hit him low but he can't take his pride. He says he's giving Caleb a set of balls to come out and talk face to face.

Caleb Konley comes out. Cal says the fans can boo him all they want and throw stuff at him. He says it won't change the fact that he's the champ and is better than them. Cal says he's better than Kerry too. Kerry asks if he should kiss him, spank him or shove his foot up his @ss and show him who daddy is.

Kerry says he knows Cal has something to prove, but he's the wrong guy to try to prove things with. Kerry says he got up everyday because he's not better than the people. Cal says the people didn't accept him because he's a phony.  He says Kerry isn't a juggalo and wouldn't know a joker's card if it was up his @ss. He says this is another payday for The Morton Family only.

Kerry says he loves the chip Caleb has on his shoulder and loves how he goes to Russo's office to create magic. Kerry says this isn't about him, Caleb or Russo. He says it's about the people and says they deserve a fighting and defending champ.

Kerry asks for 5 more minutes with him. He says he can whoop his @ss in 5 minutes and take the title from him. He says he can then pawn the belt, take the silver and share it with the fans. He says he will beat him and make an example of him, showing why he's not the real Lunacy champ.  Caleb asks if the fans really want 5 more minutes. Caleb says there ain't gonna be no rematch.

Vince Russo cuts in via webcam. He says there won't be a rematch but says Kerry has an idea with 5-minute challenges. He says he will book him in 3 matches in the next few weeks. He says if Kerry can't win or loses in under 5 minutes, he will be fired from JCW.

Caleb leaves and Kerry says to cut the music. He tells him to come back. Kerry says he accepts the challenge on one circumstance - when he beats his opponents, he will get his title rematch in an Anything Goes Match. Kerry says maybe it'll even be a Saginaw Streetfight. Caleb says he will talk to Russo about it and says maybe the fans will get to see him wrestle this bumpkin.

Thoughts: Kerry was in full face mode here which was something different. The Russo/Kerry feud continues on.

Steven Flowe and The Ring Rat are interviewed by Mac. Rat says he doesn't like CoKane or James Storm. She says Shane Mercer is spooky. Steve says he drives on opportunity and stole the show when he opened for The Stones. Mac asks if it's "The Kidney Stones". Steve threatens to hit him with his guitar. Sally is hesitant and Paul has to threaten him. Sally coughs but takes another drink. Mad Man Pondo comes in. He says he's sorry he's late and asks when he's up. Violent J says he's a done and done and it doesn't mean he has a contract. Pondo asks if there's nothing and J says nothing but lovin'. He then high fives him. Sally drinks more and The JWO says Sally loves it.

Dani Mo talks to The Outbreak. She says if they want to be normal, they have to be okay with being stupid. She then has them do Tiktok dances. They dance then end up fighting with each other.

JCW Lunacy World Title #1 Contendership Four Way Match - James Storm vs. Shane Mercer vs. CoKane vs. Steven Flowe

Steve 2nd rope whisper in wind's Storm. Kane puts cocaine on himself and spinning tombstones Steve. SM deadlifts him into a release german. Storm hits a whirlybird on Steve and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was short, chaotic and fine. They kept it entertaining and got out before it had any chance to get bad. Storm won so he's back in the thick of things.

Storm goes up to Caleb after and gets in his face.

The hosts talk.

Italian Street Fight - Big Vito vs. Painful Paul

Vito comes out and hits shots on PP. PP back body drops him. Vito goes out to ringside and then walks through the crowd. Vito hits him with a trash can. PP hits Vito with a trash can. PP knees him in the gut and clubs his back. Vito hits some shots and PP punches him with something.

Vito is sent into a bar stand. Vito hits shots on PP and bangs his head off a bar stand. They get on the stage and then the ramp. Vito pulls PP's throat down over the top rope. Vito takes a spinning side slam for 2. PP jackhammers him for 2. Sally Boy comes out with a baseball bat and he's totally drunk. Vito tells Sally to go. Sally swings the baseball bat and nails Vito. PP chokeslams Vito and pins him. Sally kind of smiles after but is drunk.

Thoughts:
I was expecting Vito having some kind of twist here to give him an edge but it didn't happen. I think Vito could have used a low blow or some other kind of heel tactic to make this make more sense. What we did get was acceptable though and they had the right idea with Vito having the crap kicked out of him.

Mac Davis interviews a drunk Sally Boy in the back. Sally slurs his words and says it's an accident. Mac asks if Vito will agree and Sally says it'll be no problem. He then laughs and coughs. Sally then falls off the chair.

GCW talks in the back. Brett says Russo wanted them to boot ratings and says the JWO drops the ratings. They then spot a camera man filming and call him a rat. Nick Gage then punches him and the camera guy is stomped.

The Head's double boot Tony in the corner. Mad Man Pondo comes in to take over as ref. Tony punches Mosh and Mosh knees him in the gut. Mosh stomps Tony. Mosh back splashes Tony in the corner.

Mosh misses a backsplash and Tony cutters him. Mack and Thrasher get in. Mack lariats both opponents and corner splashes them. Mosh is sent into Thrasher. Tony slams Thrasher. Tony 2nd rope moonsaults Thrasher. GCW's Nick Gage then hits Mack with a knedo stick, knocking off the top. Otis Cougar chairs Mack outside and Slade joins in. Tony argues with Brett Lauderdale. Team GCW them jumps Tony. The match then ends without a finish.

Thoughts
: It was fine. The Head's beat up up Tony, Mack got the hot tag in and the Team GCW ran in after. It was a simple match but it made sense and furthered storylines.

Team GCW continues the beat down. The Headbangers get in the ring and back Team GCW off. The Head's help Tony and Mack up then hit short arm clotheslines on them. Team GCW then jumps back in and joins in on the beat down. Violent J then leaves commentary and grabs a kendo stick. Team GCW runs and The Headbangers also leave.

Mac Davis tries to interview Team GCW in the back and asks what that was. Brett says they told him what would happen - they would do what they wanted, cause pain and drive the ratings up. Brett says it only gets better and says the ratings will go up. Mac then gets bumped into.

Overall thoughts
: It was pretty strong show. The JWO vs Team GCW and JWO vs Headbangers storylines both progressed throughout this one and made sense. They've found another fun story with Dani Mo trying to civilize The Outbreak and the Sally Boy/JWO/Vito storyline is working too. The matches were all acceptable and on the shorter end of things. I enjoyed this one and thought it was one of JCW's best efforts. I'd give this a 7 out of 10. This was good.

Thoughts:
They had some sloppy moments here but it was a lot of fun and made for a good opener. The commentators were great and we got a bunch of neat dives here.

We get an ad for Worlds Collide with CM Punk in a Straight Edge Society Mask.

AAA Reina de Reinas Title #1 Contendership Gauntlet Match - Lady Shani vs. La Hiedra vs. La Catalina vs. Adelicious vs. Thea Hail

Leg 1 - Adelicious vs Lady Shani

Lady flips her and trips her. Ade armdrags her and Lady armdrags back. They stand off. Lady shoulders her over. Ade ducks a lariat with a bridge and reverse headscissors her off of it. Lady headscissors Ade into a pin attempt.

Ade is kicked in the back. Lady backcrackers her. Lady boots her in the corner. Lady broski boots her in the corner. Ade corner lariats Lady then does headflips into a corner spear. Ade cartwheel dropkicks her. Lady bodyscissors rolls her and pins her.

Thoughts:
They kept it short and did the best they could. Ade's green but has a good look. This was probably the best case scenario for this.

Leg 2 - Lady Shani vs Thea Hail

Thea runs in and armdrags Lady. Thea high kicks her then dropkicks her for 2. Thea butt drops her arm for 2. Thea flying headscissors her then topes her outside for 2. Lady basement dropkicks her from the side for 2. Lady pulls Thea down by the hair for 2.

Lady does a reverse rocking chair on her then armbars her. Lady gets on her back with a sleeper. Thea triangles her over the top rope. Lady sunset flips her then bodyscissors rolls her around. Thea then gets a pin attempt in and pins her.

Thoughts: It was another shorter one here. It could have been a lttle cleaner. Lady was kind of the better wrestlers here.

Thoughts: Hiedra being the last girl in the gauntlet added some interest to this. Cat won as expected. The crowd was dead for this most of this and the girls really only impressed so much here. This was average.

Ivar is double clubbed on. Ivar facekicks Bravo. Bravo airplane spins Ivar and throws him down. Bravo top rope diving headbutts Ivar but he lands on a title belt Ivar is holding. Bravo is out and Ivar pins him.

Thoughts: The finish came off a bit weird as you really had to see the replay to see it. The work was alright enough but it was a random bout with a lame crowd and a questionable finish. This had a lot working against it.

Thoughts: It was all squash as expected and it did what it was supposed to do. That gorilla press bump Chris took outside was nasty.

Thoughts
: I didn't like it much. I wanted a sub 10 minute match with them going all out. It went a lot longer, the pace was much slower and the crowd brought it down too much. They did too much as expected but at least there were some cool moments. The finish sucked too.

Rey Fenix comes out after. Rey says the match was beautiful and people chanted, "this is lucha". He says Raw and Smackdown are coming to Mexico and says Triplemania is between those shows. Rey says he wants to face all of them. NF, Mini and Jack shake hands after.

DP hits a south of heaven on Fis and Parka breaks it up with a top rope splash. Parka hits his bonebreaker on Fis and pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine and it went well. It was mostly the Priest and Fiscal show though as Parka and Doc didn't get a ton of big highlights here. Priest losing is a big shock as that's almost a WWE main event guy losing to someone miles below him on the totem pole.

We see some of the NXT wrestlers arrive for their show.

Rey Mysterio comes out for the AAA Mega Title contract signing ceremony at Triplemania. He says Triplemania has had some of the biggest matches in AAA's history. Rey wants to make the main event official with a contract signing ceremony.

He says Omos wants to apologize and regrets it. Dorian wants Omos' suspension to be lifted.

He says if Omos loses, Omos is gone from AAA forever. Dom then signs the contract for the title match and throws it in the ring.

Rey hits a mexican muscle buster on Berto and pins him.

Thoughts: You could pinpoint the part of this match where they were told "speed this up, we need to get out of here within 10 minutes". It really didn't get the time it needed and we went from the beginning of the match to the finishing stretch pretty fast. It was acceptable but it didn't get a chance to be great.

Los Perros attack the faces after. Lee's mask is pulled off.

Overall thoughts
: It wasn't that good of a show. The crowd sucked or was mic'd poorly and they brought everything down. The opener was fine. The women's gauntlet was average as expected. The AAA Tag Title match wasn't that good. Carnicero had a decent debut. The 3-way went on too long, had a slower pace than it should have had and they eventually did too much. The four-way was fine and went well. The main didn't get much time, was rushed, wasn't their best effort and only was acceptable. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as this show just needed to have some easy, fast paced and fun matches and just didn't live up to expectations. It didn't help that most of the matches had little build behind them either and were basically random. This was below average.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 8/30/2026

Wren facebusters Zar then does cattle mutilation. Kali breaks the hold up. Wren jumps off the steps outside and Kali powerslams her on the floor. Kali runs in and Zar spears her. Zar hits an F-5 and pins her.

Thoughts: It was an okay opener here. They kept it moving and had a lot of pin attempts. I thought Kali had a chance at maybe pulling this one off too. Kali had a good showing here. Zar won but she's not exactly lighting the world on fire with this reign or getting over as much as she should. I really won't miss the Speed Title. I don't know if it was ever really needed and it didn't lead to good matches.

Cruz Montana is interviewed. He says he feels like he belongs. He says he's been looked over and laughed at and says the NXT Title is a 3-count away. He says Tony is coming in with experience, Waller is coming to pick his spots and Zilla is an animal. He says he's ready and willing to go to hell and back unlike them. MB is pushed into Tav, knocking him off the apron. MB takes a top rope double stomp + reverse ddt and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a decent bout. They kept it moving and the heels bumped big as usual. The crowd should have been more into it than what they were but Tav and MB aren't super over faces. Brad seemed like he hurt his wrist here. The Project always do a nice job and this was no exception.

Borne and Tav hug after. They walk up the ramp together.

Thoughts:
It was a decent bout like the other Jaida/Nat match. They hit hard, they looked like they were going at it and the work was fine. JP even worked the leg a little before winning which was good.

Wren Sinclair talks to Kendal Grey and is upset about losing her title. KG tells her she didn't get pinned. Wren tells her she has to worry about Kelani tonight. KG tells her not to worry.

KJ hits a pumping knee and drops her. KJ misses an asai moonsault. KG spinning back elbows her and rolls out. KJ is violently pulled into the post ear first. KJ then pins her.

Thoughts
: I didn't like that reverse spanish fly spot at all, but it was an okay bout otherwise. KG took some hard shots and her bump into the post at the end looked vicious. Kelani winning the title concludes a long storyline with her trying to win the big one and failing. KG did a decent job of working the ankle but KJ's selling of it wasn't the best. I also though this went a little longer than it needed to. It could have been great with a few fixes.

Robert Stone is interviewed and puts over the show so far. He says he's working on things with the tag division. H says Halloween Havoc will be on 10/31.

Naraku says Shiloh Hill is smart but even the smartest man can lack judgment. He says Hill doing research on the internet doesn't mean he understands the mystery of the mist. He says he will regret wandering into the unknown world to find out about the mist. He says no knowledge can prepare him for the toxins in the eyes. He says Hill has felt the red mist but he left room for more pain. He says he will show the world why he will live in darkness.

Borne and Tavion talk. They are both disappointed and upset. Tav says one match at a time and they have to keep the title around his waist. Borne says Tav will be a champ again. Tav says Borne will be his friend for life. He tells him to even the score with The Vanity Project.

Thoughts: Borne had already lost one title tonight, so there was a possibility he lost here. Someone in creative really likes Drake and they like him a lot more than me. I thought this was a bit rushed and just average.

The Vanity Project pose on the ramp. Tav helps up Borne and Borne hits a zig zag on him in a surprise turn.

Kam Hendrix does a promo. He says it's not his fault he has more star power than Mason Rook. He says Mason is an everyman and he relates to the fans. Kam says he's not and is a star people come to see. He says Rook ended his career but he bounced back. He says he's tired of him weighing him down. He says he beat him before and will do it again on Tuesday. He says he's about to take off because it's lights, Kam, action.

We get a Gunther video. He says he got a lot of space and freedom to be himself in NXT UK. He says it was a big challenge to carry it. He says it was amazing to retire AJ, Goldberg and Cena and says no one can take it from him.

Thoughts
: It was fun because all 4 of these guys had a shot at winning it for different reasons. It was all action at a fast pace here. It was a little rushed at times but it went well. Fatu did fine but I think he needs a new outfit. Waller winning should give Cruz and Fatu someone to chase and defeat down the line.

Overall thoughts
: I liked the opener and it marked the end of the WWE Women's Speed Title. The NXT Tag Title match was decent and The Vanity Project did fine as usual. Nattie/Jaida wasn't as good as their last outing but they were aggressive and made it look like a fight. Kendal/Kelani had a shot at being great but didn't quite get there. It was still alright though. Borne/Drake was probably the worst match of the night and was just average. I liked the main and thought it was fun. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as it was a good show and it moved along well. I enjoyed it more than I expected.

AEW All In 2026 8/30/2026

AEW All In 2026 8/30/2026

Note - This ran against AAA Ola de Calor and NXT Heatwave 2026

We are in London, England at Wembley Stadium. Excliabur, Tony Schiavone and Bryan Danielson are on commentary. Don Callis, Nigel McGuiness and Tazz also come on to do commentary at various points in time.

 Pre-show/Main show:

AEW World Trios Titles - Trios Royale Roulette

This had whole trios come in at once every few minutes but members could be individually eliminated. The big spot here was Roderick Strong doing a backbreaker to his wife, Marina Shafir. This saw The Demand and The Dogs team up against the faces for most of this. This then cut into the main show and finished on there. Everyone kind of got up and restarted when it cut to the main show. The surprise team was Swerve Strickland and The New Level (WWE's New Day, who are now going under the names Austin Creed and Kofi). Kofi did his usual battle royal spot where he managed to avoid having his feet touch the floor. The New Level and Swerve won as expected.

This was incredibly boring. It went on forever and was slow. There was tons of downtime where little happened and it was all pretty much built around waiting for The New Level to arrive (everyone assumed they were debuting here). This wasn't that exciting as we kept cutting away to the next team who would enter and there was a lot of people laying around while they waited for their turn to do various spots. And because there were so many people in the ring, there wasn't a lot of room to work nor the ability to get any great stories going.  The AEW Trios Titles also changed hands yet again here and those titles have changed hands too many times this year.

AEW Women's Tag Titles - Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) (c) vs. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter)

The girls all shove each other. Alex is thrown out. Meg boots Jamie and shoulders her over. Meg takes a double shoulderblock then a double lariat over the top. Lena is pulled out. Alex top rope plancha's Meg. Meg facekicks Jamie.

Lena hits shots on Alex in the corner. Meg germans Alex for 2. Meg is dropped gut first onto the ropes and takes a double AA for 2. The girls all hit shots on each other. Alex and Jamie hit stereo germans. The germans are no sold and The Birds get hit with germans. The Birds no sell germans then hit stereo lariats.

Alex hits chops on Meg and Meg flying lariats her. Meg sits up top and is headbutted. Meg is double superplexed. Jamie AA's Meg and low flying knees her for 2. Meg double germans her opponents. Jamie does a double ddt off a double chokeslam attempt. The heels no sell it. Jamie takes a claymore kick + german for 2. Jamie is double chokeslammed for 2.

Alex backdrops Meg on the apron. Jamie uranage backbreakers Lena. Lena takes a sandwich lariat then a hart attack. Lena is double pinned.

Thoughts:
It was basically a tornado tag match here. There were 3-4 people in this one all throughout. I didn't like some of the no selling here. The crowd also didn't save it. I figured The Birds would win since they are at home. It was a little above average.

AEW Continental Cup Final/AEW Continental Title - Jon Moxley (c) vs. Nigel McGuinness

Mox walks past The Death Riders as he enters, slaps their hands and lets Shafir slap him. There's two fans who follow him as he walks through the crowd and kind of makes his entrance with him.

Nigel full nelson's him and is put in a hammerlock. They trade some basic holds and Mox stomps his foot. Nigel hits forearms and euros him down. Mox leg kicks him. Nigel kicks him in the back and lariats him down. Nigel works his arm and eye rakes him.

Nigel ties his arms up and leans back on them. They trade chops. Mox basement dropkicks Nigel in the knee. Mox boots Nigel in the leg and hits mounted corner punches. Mox dropkicks him in the knee while his leg is tied up on the ropes. Mox elbow drops his legs. Mox takes the tape off of Nigel's shoe. Nigel then wraps the tape around Mox's face.

Nigel arm whips him down then takes him down by the arm. Mox hits running corner lariats. Nigel bridging cutters him for 2. Mox crossfaces him. Nigel rolls out and reverses it.

Nigel tries a rebound lariat and is cuttered. Mox stomps Nigel's ankle. They butt heads and trade forearms. Mox facekicks him and takes a rebound lariat. Nigel lariats him down. Mox tries a rebound lariat and is lariated down for 2. Mox bulldog chokes him. Nigel squeezes Mox's arm with his chin, breaks the hold and does the london dungeon.

Mox rolls into an armbar then does an ankle lock. Nigel rolls him up for 2. Nigel blocks a sunset flip and gets a 2 count on him. Nigel slap flurries him and Mox trips him into an ankle lock. Mox curbstomps him then ankle locks him. Nigel can't reach the ropes and taps out.

Thoughts
: This was more of a gift to Nigel than a match that needed to happen. Nigel shouldn't have won here and thankfully didn't. It was fine. Mox worked the ankle a little and eventually won with an ankle lock. I didn't think it was either guy's best work though and it was a tame bout by Mox's standards.

AEW International Title - Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada

Kyle drops KO to start and KT is shocked. KT and Kyle trade forearms. KT facekicks him and flying lariats him. They trade shots on the ropes. Kyle facekicks him. KO does a rare tope con hilo outside. KO euros KT down. KT hits mongolian chops on him. KO over the back neckbreakers him over the knee. KO slams KTKO top rope elbow drops him. Kyle takes it. KO tries to rainmaker Kyle but is forearmed and german'd by KT. KT germans Kyle while trying a bridge pin on KO.

KT grabs the screwdriver and tosses it. KT hits both opponents and KO dropkicks KT. Kyle corner facekicks KT. KO lariats Kyle when KT moves. KO hits short arm lariats on Kyle. KT lariats KO down. KT corner facekicks Kyle. KT sits up top and is facekicked. Kyle takes a nasty looking ddt from the 2nd rope. KT pumping knees Kyle for 2.  KT hits a raging fire on Kyle then KO rainmakers KT for 2.

Kyle and KT stare down KO. KO takes shots from both and goes down to a forearm + superkick combo. They trade forearms. KO is thrown out by KT. KT hits a wild blue thunder on Kyle. Kyle corner facekicks KT. Kyle brainbusters KT on the top rope. KO rainmakers Kyle and pins him.

Thoughts:
I liked it. Outside of one spot, they didn't overdo it too much here, but man was the 2nd rope ddt nasty looking. It had some fun stories going on with the issues between the three guys and it made for an interesting bout. It was good.

Don celebrates with Okada after. Kyle grabs the title from Okada. Don tries to play peacemaker. Kyle gives Okada the title. Okada tells Kyle to raise his hand. Don says he will do it with him and Kyle raises Okada's hand while Okada does a goofy smile.

CJ throws out Idolo and gets a 2 count on MJF, who had just taken a judas effect. Nick rolls up CJ then high kicks him. Nick tope canadian destroyers Jack on the floor. Nick top rope phoenix splashes Mark's face for 2.

MJF tries ah old on Nick and says it's on him. They shake hands and MJF low blows Nick. MJF heatseeker piledrivers Nick over the 2nd rope. Idolo spinning back elbows MJF out and pins Nick.

Thoughts: It was alright. Thankfully, Jack did not win this. They didn't overdo it too much and they had some fun moments and some nice highspots. It wasn't great or anything but it didn't go too long or get boring like the opener.

AEW World Tag Team Championship - Cage and Cope (Christian Cage and Adam Copeland) (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson)

Thoughts:
The selling of the leg could have been a little better here. There were a ton of spears in this and The Bucks didn't get to go too wild here. It was acceptable but wasn't quite the dream match it was hyped up to be. I'm not sure where The Bucks go after this loss.

The Motor City Machine Guns come out after. The Guns get in the ring and talk to Cope and Cage. FTR and Stokeley Hathaway then come out, making their return after some time off. The New Level then come out.

KK is put on a stretcher and DA coffin drops him off the stage. DA then pins KK.

Thoughts:
It was fun. We had a couple of wild Darby spots as usual and tons of shenanigans here. I'm not sure the result was the right call though as Darby doesn't need the title and they were trying to do something with Kevin as champ. I'm curious what this means for both. Darby really jumped high off the lightning rig and crashed hard.

AEW Women's World Championship - Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Mercedes Moné

MM knees Willow in the face. MM does a crossface on her. MM then does a single arm straightjacket with it. Willow seems still in it and the ref just stops the match for no real reason.

Thoughts
: It would have been nice if MM did a hand/wrist submission on Willow to win since she worked it and since it was injured. Mone won as expected here. Willow's reign was a surprise to begin with and we know how much Mone loves holding titles. They both put out a good effort here. Willow did some moonsaults and Mone got bloody here. It got a lot of time to play out as well. I wasn't high on this as a semi-main, but we got enough to justify it. The match was alright.

Callum Newman gets in KO's face and The Elite/United Empire get separated. KO sitout powerbombs him through a table. Will is busted open.

Will tries to get in the ring and KO hits him with a pumping knee. KO dragon suplexes him on the apron. KO tope con hilos him outside. KO goes up top and dropkicks him from behind. KO pumping knees him from behind. KO 2nd rope electric chairs him then germans him down.

Thoughts: They did too much here. Will took tiger driver's, 2nd rope germans, dragon suplexes on the apron, OWA's and then they started kicked out at 1 on dangerous moves by the end of it. They just went too far in the end. They did have somewhat of a story going with Will's injured neck being worked on but stuff like cravates was traded for much more dangerous maneuvers. I would have been fine with this if they cut out the last 10 minutes or so though. The last 10 minutes were just terrible with them going with all of their worst instincts. It had some positives to it but it just wasn't that good by the end. Will won as expected here as that was really the only outcome this could have had.

Will gets fireworks after and holds up the title.

Overall thoughts: I appreciated this one not going too far over 4 hours and being on in the afternoon. It makes for a much better experience when I don't have to fight off sleep and fatigue.

The opener was terrible. That trios gauntlet went on forever, it was slow and it is honestly my pick at this point for worst match of the year. The Women's Tag Title match was average. Mox/Nigel was fine. I liked the International Title 3-way the best on the show and it's rare when a Kyle Fletcher match wins match of the night with me. That was good. The casino gauntlet was fine. The Young Bucks' match was acceptable. Darby/Kevin was fun. Willow/Mone was okay and had potential to be great if they had followed up on Willow's arm more. The main just got too indy by the end for me with them kicking out of the most dangerous moves as possible.

Everything got a lot of time to play out as usual. Outside of the main and Darby's match, the stunts were limited. AEW does seem to have wisened up some and the wrestlers seem to be working smarter. The show wasn't real strong storyline wise, but they gave a strong effort wrestling wise as usual and with the roster being so much better than it used to be, it works. I'd give it an 8 out of 10 overall and it was good overall. I may not always love what AEW gives us on PPV, but they are going to give you your money's worth and they will do you right.

WOW Women of Wrestling 8/29/2026 Season 6, Episode 38

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/wow-women-of-wrestling-8222026-season-6.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/wow-women-of-wrestling-952026-season-6.html

We get a video on Coach Campanelli's history with Team Spirit. Then we see how she created Top Tier.

We get then see Top Tier vs Team Spirit from WOW Women of Wrestling 3/30/2024 Season 4, Episode 29. My review of that was:

WOW Trios Trophy - Top Tier (Coach Campanelli, Gloria Glitter and Kandi Krush) (c) vs Team Spirit (Pep Riley, Sasha Sparks and Ariel Sky)

Coach and Sky start us off. Coach twists her into a bodyscissors. Sky uses her leg to get out of it in a cool maneuver. Coach tries to trip Sky but Sky rolls out of it. Sasha back rolls into a headscissors on Gloria. Sasha armdrags and dropkicks her for 2. Gloria is tripped by Sasha and Pep.

Pep rolls up Kandi then Kandi does a rainmaker style lariat for 1. Pep takes shots from her opponents in the corner then Kandi sliding forearms her. Kandi throws her off the headlock. Pep goes up and over Coach then does a cartwheel back elbow.

Coach boots Sasha then knees her in the gut. Sasha takes a double gordbuster and Gloria stomps on Sasha. Gloria surfboards her then Sasha jawbreakers and upkicks her. Sky forward cartwheels into a lariat on Coach then backrolls into a headscissors on Kandi. Sky rolls into a codebreaker on Coach then backflips into a back elbow on Kandi. Sky cartwheel basement dropkicks Kandi. Sky does a wraparound bulldog on Coach.

Sasha step up knees Coach then takes a neckbreaker. Gloria germans Sky then Pep 2nd rope crossbodies Gloria. Kandi cradle shocks Pep then Sasha bulldogs Kandi. Coach hits an unprettier (called the buzzer beater) on Sasha and wins it.

Thoughts:
This was a good tag and was a real showcase for Sky. I said when she debuted that Sky had a lot of potential to get ahead in wrestling and she showed it here. While I was kind of sour on Coach leaving Team Spirit, if it means Sky's going to be groomed to be a top girl then it'll be fine. I don't love the faces losing today, but if this feud is continuing and they get that win back at some point down the line, it'll be worth it. The work in this tag was really above the usual for WOW and these girls were working hard at a fast pace. I'd really like to see this one again.

We get a video on Pep Riley/Daisy Lane. We see Pep/Daisy and Chainsaw's history together. We then see how Pep changed her name to Daisy Lane.

We see clips of Top Tier winning some matches. We then see how Fury got hooked up with Daisy Lane and Chainsaw. We see Coach talking about Pep Riley/Daisy Lane. We see a Top Tier promo.

We see clips of a non-title Monsters and Metal vs Top Tier match where Monsters won. We then see clips of the Monsters and Metal vs Top Tier WOW Trios Title match. I think that was from WOW Women of Wrestling 8/30/2025 Season 5, Episode 51.

We then see clips of the Monsters and Metal vs Top Tier WOW Trios Title match from WOW Women of Wrestling 11/29/2025 Season 6, Episode 12. Here's what I wrote about that:

WOW Trios Titles - Top Tier (Coach Campanelli, Kandi Krush and Gloria Glitter) vs Monsters and Metal (Daisy Lane, Chainsaw and Fury)

The heels attack in the corner to start. They take out Chain's partners and triple team her. Chain is pulled over the top and triple teamed outside. Chain goes into the post. Lane hits a triple crossbody off the 2nd rope. Lane is lifted for a headscissors on Krush. Lane corner splashes Krush. Fury corner splashes Krush and boots her. Fury corner hip attacks her.

Lane bronco busters Krush. Fury rolls up Glitter and backhands her. Fury lariats her for 2. Glitter pump kicks Fury. Fury takes corner attacks. Glitter snapmares Fury. Coach walks on Fury's back and basement dropkicks her.

Coach misses a corner spear. Lane comes in and spinning headscissors Coach. Lane's head is banged off the buckles. Lane takes a double hiptoss for 2. Krush knee lifts her. Glitter steps on Lane's back. Coach misses a corner charge and Lane sunset flips her. Lane basement dropkicks Coach.

Lane tags out and Chain comes in. Chain shoulders over and lariats the heels. Chain black hole slams Glitter for 2. Chain splashes Glitter for 2 when the ref is pulled out. Coach and Fury both say the other pulled the ref out. Lane is thrown out onto all of them by the heels and ref. Chain spinning drops Lane onto Glitter inside but the ref is down and can't count. Another ref comes in and counts the pin for Chain. Monsters and Metal win the trios titles!

The ref's argue outside. The main ref waves his hands and the replacement ref takes the titles away from the faces. Dave McLane says the match is a no contest and Top Tier keeps the belts.

Coach laughs on the mic. She says they are the greatest team in wrestling and says they will win every time. She says they are Top Tier and are still the trios champs.

Thoughts: We haven't seen a dusty finish in a while. The general problem with trios titles is that it's hard to come up with fresh teams and difficult to really build programs because only there's usually only a few trios at one time in a promotion. Monsters and Metal should have won here, but there's really no others teams for them to face outside of Top Tier if they had won. The same can be said for Top Tier, though they could fight The Dojo Defenders and Ashley Blaze again. I really think this finish was just done to stretch things out before Monsters and Metal eventually win. The match was fine but it's a little disappointing of course when the faces get the big win and it's taken away.

Next week's show has a recap history of WOW's tag team division.

We go to break and return with more on the Monsters and Metal vs Top Tier feud. They talk about the Full Metal Massacre match and show us some of the match. That match is from WOW Women of Wrestling 3/14/2026 Season 6, Episode 23. Here is what I thought about the match:

WOW Trios Titles - Full Metal Massacre - Top Tier (Coach Campanelli, Gloria Glitter and Kandi Krush) vs Monsters and Metal (Daisy Lane, Fury and Chainsaw)

The faces hit the heels with chairs before the match starts. All 6 fight outside. Coach chokes Daisy with a cord. Krush's head is banged off the post. Krush chops Fury outside. Chain throws a trash can in. Daisy's head is banged off the apron and Krush takes a chair to the gut. Chain chairs Glitter. Fury hits Coach with a trash can lid. Fury then bangs drumsticks off the trash can lid into Coach. Krush hits Fury with a kendo stick.

Krush takes a double trash can lid shot. Daisy is sent into the post. Chain chairs Krush. Glitter flying euros a ladder into Chain then hits the ladder with a trash can lid. Glitter does the stair stepper on a ladder that's on Chain. Chain has a trash can lid in her face and Krush sliding forearms it.

Thoughts:
This match is a good example of why WOW works. It may take a while to get to the big match where the faces overcome the heels, but it will come and when it does, it'll be good. That's what this was. We finally got the payoff for a match that was built to for months. It did take a very long time to get here, but the end result delivered and it almost made it worth it. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't exactly one of the famous TLC matches or a famous hardcore match, but for WOW standards, it was great. Everyone put their best effort in and we got all kinds of big spots we don't normally get. I really liked the match and thought it was good. It was everything it was supposed to be. We will see where things go from here as the faces will need new challengers and Top Tier, the first and only trios champs, will need something else to do without the titles.

We then see clips of Gloria Glitter being kicked out of Top Tier. We then see Kandi Krush and Coach turn on each other as the show ends.

Overall thoughts: It was a clip show with no new content and next week appears to be a clip show as well. It's been a pretty bad year for WOW as it feels like half the shows have been re-runs or clip shows with very little new content. It's just not acceptable for a company in their position and with their budget and it makes the company look very cheap. There was no new content here so I won't rate this. I would totally skip this.
