LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 5/31/2026

LM52 Lucha Libre Mexicana on Discovery Espanol 5/31/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/lm52-lucha-libre-mexicana-on-discovery.html

Leobardo Magadan and Daniel Lopez are on commentary.

Burger Boy/Nino Hamburguesa arrives and hugs Big Mami. They are happy to see each other and walk off together.

Valery Moreno vs Big Mami vs Sagitarius vs Diosa Quetzal

Val's related to The Wagner's. Mami and DQ hit shorts to tart. They get knocked down and go out. Val armdrags Sag then springboard diving headscissors her. Val meteora's her for 2. Sag suplexes Val for 2. DQ pulls on Sag's hair and dances. DQ tiger feint armdrags her. DQ 2nd rope diving headscissors her. DQ flips off the 2nd rope and armdrags Sag. She 619's her for 2.

Mami comes in and slaps DQ in the back of the head. Mami hiptosses her. Mami bridges out of a lariat then bodyblocks DQ over. Val is tripped into the ropes. Sag dropkicks Val there. Sag and Val are against the ropes and Mami crossbodies the backs of both.

DQ meteora's Mami from behind on the ropes. Val codebreakers DQ then DQ double underhook drops her for 2. Sag spears DQ. DQ stops on Sag in the corner. Mami forearms DQ down then bronco busers her and Sag. Val 2nd rope crossbodies Mami. DQ flying headscissors Sag.

DQ top rope plancha's Sag outside. Val jumps and Mami side walk slams her down. Mami tries to get on the buckles but struggles. She then starts a "si se puedes" chant for herself. Mami 2nd rope splashes Val and pins her.

Thoughts: It went fine other than the finish. Mami could not get up on the 2nd rope for her splash. Mami's got a lot of charisma and is a really likeable character. She's very heavy though and it can't be good for her. I popped for Mami starting a chant for herself when she couldn't get onto the 2nd rope. Diosa did a decent job here.

Big Mami is jumped by a masked girl after. The masked girl may be named Victoria. The masked girl sits on Mami's neck on the 2nd rope then slaps her.

We see Dr. Wagner Jr. arrive. We see Pirata Morgan arrive with someone and run into Wagner. Wagner offers a handshake and Morgan walks past him.

Pirata Morgan and Cibernetico vs Texano Jr. and Dr. Wagner Jr.

Ciber comes out in his priest attire. Doc comes out with a girl in a nurse costume. Pirata talks to Doc on the mic before the match and a Wagner chant starts. Wagner then responds on the mic and says "Arriba Los Wagnermaniacos". Doc talks more and gets hit.

All 4 men go out to fight. Tex is sent into the post by Ciber. Doc's head is banged off a chair. Pirata hits Doc with a chair in the gut and chops him. Ciber chops Tex in the corner and corner lariats him.

Pirata and Doc fight in the crowd. Pirata spits a drink in Doc's face. Ciber bites Tex. Doc is whipped into the side of the stage. Tex bangs Ciber's face of the buckles. Ciber chops Tex. Doc's head is banged off a table.

Pirata misses a corner charge. Doc snapmares Pirata then basement dropkicks him. Doc then holds Ciber for a bullrope shot from Tex. Pirata gets hit with the bullrope as well.

Wagner drops Pirata with a shot and they go back into the crowd to fight. Tex chops Ciber inside. Tex and Ciber then go into the crowd too. Pirata's head is banged off a table. Pirata and Wagner trade chops in the crowd. Tex side headlocks and punches Ciber on the stage.

Pirata begs off on the stage from Doc. The ref breaks it up and Tex grabs the ref by the hair. Ciber and Tex compete for cheers from the crowd. They chop each other. Ciber spears him for 2. Tex step up enzugiri's Ciber for 2. Ciber chokeslams Tex for 2.

Tex hidden blade's Ciber for 2. Pirata and Doc get in and trade chops. Pirata lariats him down for 2. Pirata knees Doc in the chest for 2. Doc corner lariats Pirata then facebusters him. Doc clubs Pirata's chest on the apron.

Doc dragon screws Pirata on the apron. Doc is lariated by Ciber on the apron. Tex low diving lariats Ciber for 2. The ref gets pushed into Ciber. Tex lariats Ciber down. Chessman comes out. Chess pushes Tex off the top rope.

Doc hits Chess then lariats him over the top. Pirata knees Doc in the crotch then sentons him. Pirata's buddy throws the ref in and Pirata pins Doc to win.

Thoughts:
It wasn't good. They brawled for most of this with very weak strikes. They also interacted with the crowd a lot to save energy. 3 of the 4 are older and broken down guys so what we ended up getting wasn't that surprising. My main concern is that these 4 are probably going to be used regularly going forward and I could go without seeing them again.

Doc is group stomped after by Ciber and Chess. Chess and Ciber leave when Pirata's buddy comes in. Pirata talks to Doc on the mic. Doc then talks to him on the mic. Pirata and Doc seem to discuss a possible match after. Doc gets double teamed by Pirata and his buddy and is left laying. Pirata then starts an "ole, ole, ole Wagner" chant.

A graphic on the tron says the next show is Jun 13th. From what I can tell, LM52 has only has one match left from the first taping that didn't air.

Overall thoughts: We only had 2 new matches as usual here. The women's match wasn't bad. The men's match was essentially a legends match. There was a lot of bad brawling with bad strikes. We really didn't get a lot here otherwise and the was just below average. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it.

WWE LFG 5/31/2026 Season 3, Episode 6

WWE LFG 5/31/2026 Season 3, Episode 6

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/wwe-lfg-5242026-season-3-episode-5.html

We see Elio LaFleur arrive at the Performance Cetner. He says he's been training since he was 14 and is now here 10 years later. We see him practicing. He says he does stuff no one else does. He says things were hard in the beginning and says we will see stuff we haven't seen before. He says he hopes we enjoy it.

Matt Bloom, Owens, Bubba, Booker and Natalya talk. They ask how Kevin Owens did on commentary. Bloom offers Owens the chance to do commentary for 2 matches. Nat has Carlee Bright vs Bayley Humphrey. Bloom says he wants to see Bay take care of Carlee. Nat says she was impressed by Carlee. Elijah Holyfield vs Malik Blade is also happening. Blade is coming off an injury and is trying out a new character. Booker says Blade needs to show up tonight. Mike Derudder faces Elio Lefleur. Bloom says Shawn wants to see Elio. Bloom says he wants to see how Elio can express himself with a mask on. Bloom wants everyone to do a cheer and he can't make it happen.

Nat checks out Bayley Humphrey. Carlee says Bay is amazing and no one is built like her. She say she trusts Bay with her life. Nat wants Carlee to make some noise. Bay says Nat is fun to work with and can get you fired up. Carlee says Nat is the best. Nat tells them to show them who they are.

Bayley Humphrey vs Carlee Bright

We are at the Evolve arena for this. Carlee is already fired while Bay is on NXT. Kevin Owens is on commentary for this.

Bay backs up CB in the corner and on the ropes on the lock up. CB says she pulled her hair and they shove each other. Bay shoulders her over. CB is swung by the hair. CB double knees Bay out of he corner, clips her and dropkicks her from behind. Bay drops CB gut first on the top rope.

We go to break and return. CB is thrown hard into the corner and goes down. CB hit shots to the gut and Bay knee's her in the gut. Bay torture racks her. CB hits shots to the gut then hits chops to escape. CB flying headscissors Bay into the buckles. CB 2nd rope moonsaults her for 2. CB standing moonsaults her for 2 then does it again. Bay picks her up while laying on the mat then backbreakers her. Bay does a powerbomb lift into a powerslam and pins her.

Thoughts
: I liked what we got here. CB did some flying and was fine as a face and Bay used her power against her. I didn't agree with Carlee getting fired and this didn't change my mind.

Nat says Bay was a mountain to climb and says Bay is scary when she screams. Nat says she thought it was so good. Carlee said it made her heart burst. She says she can't let the legends down.

Bloom says Carlee needs to make more noise on bumps and wants her to sell more. Bloom says less is more but he's proud of them.

Booker T talks to Malik Blade and Elijah Holyfield. Booker says they have known each other for 4 years and they only had 2 convos. Blade says he's been here since 2021. Booker says Blade is still trying to figure things out. Blade says he'd hold advice from Booker forever. Elijah says he's happy to work with Booker again. Booker says to give the fans what they want to see and says the wrestlers are the puppet masters.

Apollo Crews, who is also now fired, is in the back watching the next match. He says Elijah Holyfield reminds him of himself.

Malik Blade vs Elijah Holyfield

This is in the Evolve arena. Blade has already been fired. Eli pushes him off the lock up. Blade hits chops. Eli blocks a hiptoss and hits a hard lariat. Eli corner spears him. Eli misses a corner spear. Blade standing dropkicks him. Eli samoan drops him.

Eli hits shoulderblocks then powerslams him. Eli drops him with an uppercut and wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. The finish was a ltitle sudden. Eli's offense looked good as usual. Blade didn't get that much in but chops and a dropkick. It wasn't anything too special due to the time limits.

Booker says it looked like Blade learned a lot. Booker says he needs Eli on the center line when doing powerslams. Eli says he loves Booker. Apollow Crews says Eli impressed him.

Eli and Blade talk to Bloom. Bloom tells Eli to try stuff more. BLoom says he wants to see Blade get better at something and wants him to step out so he can be great.

Kevin Owens talks to Elio LeFleur. Elio says it's hard to show emotion with his mask. Owens says Elio is reserved. Elio says Mike Derudder is his special opponent and they have a good connection.

Bubba asks Mike where he's from. Mike says he's a 2nd gen wrestler and his dad is Patrick Derudder. He says he wants to be a WWE star, not a pro wrestler. Bubba asks if Mike has wrestled Elio before. Mike says Elio is the best partner for him.

Bubba makes Elio and Mike show what they have. Owens says he doesn't see the size difference between them that Elio sees. Bubba says perception is reality. Owens says he doesn't see the 35lbs between them. Mike wants to take off his shirt to show it. Mike says he takes this personally as he diets harder. Owens agrees.

Bubba says they need to do what they do and live or die with what they came up with. Owens then talks to them in French. Bubba is surprised. Owens tells them to do it their way.

The two wrestlers have their shirts off and Mike asks if we can see the size difference. Elio has to show his anger and Mike needs to show off.

Mike Derudder vs Elio Lafleur

I've actually seen these guys wrestle each other already prior to WWE. If they let them do their thing, it'll be a flippy indy spotfest. This is in the NXT arena.

They lock up and Mike puts him in the corner. Elio armdrags him then Mike flying headscissors him. Mike misses a corner charge and Elio 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Mike catches Elio's tope con hilo and slams him on the apron with it.

Mike drops him with a forearm for 2. Mike facelocks him. Mike hits a hard lariat from the side. Elio tries to fight back and hits a flurry of shots. Elio springboard twisting crossbodies him. Elio step up enzugiri's him. Elio 2nd rope moonsaults him outside.

Elio springboard flying knees him for 2. Elio springboards again, Mike catches him and Elio hurricanrana's him for 2. Mike flips him with a lariat. Mike suicide dives him outside. Mike top rope splashes him inside for 2. Elio hits a flurry of shots on the top rope. Elio headscissors drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: They didn't let them go all out here and they did about 1/3rd of what they usually do. That made for a better match though. Elio tried to show some fire as an underdog but that was about it story wise. It was definitely a moves based match but it was alright.

Shawn Michaels tells both that they did a good job. Shawn says they will move him to NXT right away and tells him the work will start now. Elio says this is what he wanted his whole life. Mike thanks him in English and says what we saw tonight is what they do everywhere in the world. Mike congratulates him and says he hopes he's next to go to NXT. We then see Elio sign an NXT contract. Bubba says they did an excellent job and have bright futures past NXT.

Overall thoughts: It was another fairly straight to the point episode. The coaches told the wrestlers what to do, they tried to do it then they got evaluated after. It made sense and it's a simple show. Maybe it won't knock your socks off, but it's better than the worked shoots and games they did in the first two seasons. They really do have to stop featuring people they are going to fire though as it comes across weird. Mike and Elio got to do a bit more than wrestlers usually get to do more here and that was the standout bout on this one. You don't really need to see this one.

Axel Cruz and Abel Durant are our hosts and they welcome us to the show. They talk about the Anniversary show.

Lou Forza vs Diego Luna

We join this in progress. Lou stalls outside. Luna tries to attack him off the apron but misses. Lou is sent into the post and thrown in. Luna flying lariats him and dropkicks him. Luna is swept off the 2nd rope. Lou hits falling headbutt drops. Lou slams him and stomps him. Lou hits a big lariat.

Luna hits chops then Lou back elbows him down for 2. Luna chops him then Lou eye rakes him. Luna 2nd rope diving blockbusters him. Luna hits punches on Lou. Luna stands on Lou's knees and cutters him. Luna goes up top and Lou tries to hide under the ref. Lou low blows Luna and full nelson twisting drops him. Lou pins him.

Thoughts: I feel like we saw most of this. Lou won when he probably wouldn't have usually had he not been revealed as the masked man recently It was a lower card match with the heel winning so it wasn't anything too great. It didn't get a ton of time either.

Joe Bravo vs Oscbar Benabe

We join this in progress, but it's pretty close to the beginning of the match. They trade some basic holds. Joe ropebreaks out of a hammerlock. OB hammerlocks him again. Joe hits back elbows then chops him. They mess up a spot and Joe tilt-a-whirl side slams him. Joe misses an elbow drop. OB michinoku drivers Joe for 2.

El Informante is outside and is rating the ref, Pelayo. Joe hits more back elbows. OB dropkicks him. They lock up and Pelayo forces the break in the corner. OB is pulled into the buckles. Joe hits punches on OB's head then throws him out. Joe tries to bang OB's head off the bottom buckle, but he falls first. Informante then walks on OB's gut outside.

Joe chops and forearms OB in the corner. OB hits more chops. Joe boots OB out of the corner. We go to break and return. Joe chokes OB with a towel. Joe elbows him in the back of the neck. Informante chokes OB over the ropes. Joe lariats OB for 2. Joe short arm lariats OB for 2.

Joe hits elbows on OB then chops him. OB neckbreakers him. OB hits punches then lariats Joe down. OB hits doi fives on him for 2. Informante distracts the ref. Joe STO's OB for 2. OB slams Joe. OB top rope splashes Joe for 1 when Informante distracts the ref. Joe ddt's OB while the ref continues to be distracted. Orlando Toledo then runs down in ref's attire and counts the pin for Joe.

Thoughts:
The ending was pretty lame here with Pelayo being a bad ref and Orlando Toledo coming down and counting the pin for him. The match wasn't that good. Joe wasn't moving well and they slipped up on some spots. It was nice to see almost all of it though.

Mike Nice vs Orlando Colon

We get to see this from the beginning. Mike backs him up in the corner off the lock up. OC boots him and rakes his eyes on the top rope. Mike fires back with punches and double chops. Mike bends over and is kicked. OC running lariats him and mocks him.

OC suplexes him. OC neckbreakers him. OC backdrops him for 2. OC chinlocks him. OC dropkicks him and throws him out. OC bangs Mike's head off the buckles and hits shots to the gut. Mike fires up and hits double chops to the head. Mike hits running lariats on OC. OC spinebusters him. OC backcrackers him. OC top rope splashes Mike and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. Mike fired up a little but was always behind here. OC won in one of his first matches back in WWC. He looked fine. This was average, mostly due to the time it got.

We see the same Orlando Colon promo on Ray Gonzalez from yesterday.

Axel and Abel talk.

La Tigera talks. She invites us to the Anniversary show and says it's dedicated to her. She says she wants to share it with everyone because the fans made it possible. She says she wants to share the moment with the fans and make it unforgettable.

Overall thoughts: If you told me that someone else wrote this show, I'd believe you. This was very different than the usual WWC show. We basically saw 2 full matches here and then the same Orlando Colon promo from yesterday. We also had tons of ads for the Anniversary show. We had almost no promos here which was a shock. Even if the two matches weren't great, just getting to see some full matches for a change was very nice. I'd give this a 5 out of 10. It was better than WWC's usual show but was still average. I wouldn't recommend this one.
