We are the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

Kendal Grey asks if Wren Sinclair wants to come out with her but Wren says it's her moment and she's got this. KG comes out to talk. She says she's had a lot of pressure on her but no one puts pressure on her but her. She says she had people asking if she was ready for this and belonged here and says this title gave her her answer. 

She says she won't be comfortable dressing up like a Barbie and will be nervous when she talks to the fans. She says she won't talk like a champ but will wrestle like one. She says the other girls will find out they can't keep up with her.

Wren Sinclair comes out with a fake and gives it to KG. Wren says she wanted to let her have her moment as she deserves it. She says KG has a vision and it came true - both of them came out of The Bash as champs. She says Ken had an idea about celebrating with a 2 layer cake, so they have one.

Kelani Jordan comes out. KJ says she should get her title shot. She say she didn't even get a title shot at The Bash and was assaulted by a lunatic. Tatum Paxley then shows up behind her, jumps off the rail and attacks her. Wren and KG are eating handfuls of cake and have it all over them. They then bump belts.

We go to the back. Keanu Carver has attacked Hijo del Vikingo with a weapon and tells Stone that EK Prosper has no title match anymore.

Izzi Dame is in the back and complains about KG and Wren being champs. Zaria comes in and Izzi wants her belt. Zaria says she's desperate since The Culling fell apart. Loud music is playing and it's Lizzy Rain. Izzi says what she's doing and Lizzy says she's making it rain. Izzi says she will handle things herself.

Kelani Jordan complains to Robert Stone about Tatum attacking her. Stone says he's over it and signs Tatum vs Kelani tonight. Stone runs into Keanu Carver. He says EK Prosper vs Keanu Carver is on tonight instead.

NXT Tag Titles - The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) vs Galeno and El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr.

Gal pushes RS down. Gal shoulders him over. Doc hits punches on Brad then hits him from behind. RS is sent into Brad. Doc superkicks RS out. Doc tope con hilos The Project outside. We go to break and return.

Doc boots RS out of the corner. Gal shoulders over Brad, facekicks RS and hits corner lariats on Brad. Gal slams Brad then splashes him for 2. Gal throws RS out. Gal corner lariats Brad and throws RS in. Gal step up knees Rs in the corner. Doc is popped up and dropkicks RS for 2. 

Brad holds up Doc for a dropkick. Brad and Doc trade forearms. Doc hits forearms on him. Gal reverse suplexes Brad for 2. Doc gets on Gal's shoulders and splashes Brad. Gal back body drops RS onto Doc and Brad in a dumb move. RS enzugiri's Doc from the apron. Doc takes a top rope double stomp + reverse ddt and is pinned.

Thoughts: The Project won as expected here. There was no real reason to believe anything else would happen. The crowd was really into it but I just thought it was acceptable only. 

Stone talks to Birthright and OTM in the back. Birthright say Vanity Project only defended their titles 3 times and they want a title shot. Nima fires back. Sean Legcy comes in and says he and his missing partner (Dux) want a title shot. Cutler James and Osiris Griffin say they want a tag title shot and call Shugars a weak link. Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar then walk in. Stone says all of the teams here can fight in a 4-way for a tag title shot, minus Dar and Moreno. Dar says him and Romeo need to get some wins and then ask for the title shot.

Thoughts: It was odd that Dar and Moreno were just left out here when everyone else is being handed title shots.

Mason Rook vs Jackson Drake

MR backs him up in the corner. JD leg kicks him and hides in the ropes. MR catches his kick and JD side headlocks him. MR shoulders him over. JD jumps up and MR powerslams him. MR chops JD down for 2. MR pulls JD's arms back. 

Booker T's phone rings and Kam Hendrix calls in. Kam says he's coming back soon and says he will deliver the lights, Kam, action when he returns. JD kneeling swantons MR. MR side steps an asai moonsault. MR corner splashes him then lariats and sentons him for 2. 

We go to break and return. JD gets his knees up on MR's splash. JD hits a handspring cutter for 2. MR chops JD then back body drops him. MR standing blue thunders him then corner cannonballs him. MR gets a 2 count on him.

JD PK's him. JD does a wild asai moonsault double stomp for 2. MR blue thunders him for 2. MR misses a corner splash and JD spinning ddt's him for 2. MR headbutts him then JD code red's him for 2. JD enzugiri's him then poisonrana's him. MR lariats him. MR sitout powerbombs him for 2. Smokes tries to interfere and MR throws Smokes onto Brad outside. JD then pins MR with a backcracker while Bayley Humphrey holds MR's legs.

Thoughts: They mostly had the right idea here. I don't think Drake was very effective as a heel. Rook can move well for his size, but his look is terrible and I just don't really see him getting anywhere soon. Drake's asai moonsault double jump was pretty cool and Mr threw him around. It was alright.

Rook lariats Brad down then backpack cannonballs RS into him.

Tate Wilder talks to EK Prosper in the back. Tate says EK got Keanu like he wanted. EK says he was preparing for Vikingo and now  he has to fight Keanu. Tate tells him to go get revenge on Keanu and EK says he's fired up. 

Kali Armstrong goes up to Robert Stone in the back. Kali asks what she has to do to get opportunities. She says she needs the next match with Grey. Stone says he can't give out title shots. Kali says she knows she can beat Grey. Stone says actions speak louder than words if she wants a title shot.

Keanu Carver vs EK Prosper

EK dropkicks him and hits forearms. KC rams him in the corner. KC double leg takedowns him and hits mounted forearms. KC clubs on EK. EK dropkicks KC then pulls him over the top. EK springboard dropkicks KC. EK tope con hilos KC. EK dropkicks him outside and tornado ddt's him using the apron. 

EK top rope frogsplashes him for 2. We go to PiP break and return. KC arm and chinlocks EK. KC forearms him from behind. EK superkicks him in the chest and high kicks him. KC lariats him down then throws him. KC clubs on EK. EK hits a stunner out of a powerslam. EK superkicks him.

EK flying lariats KC. EK asai moonsaults KC. EK top rope diving leg lariats KC. EK spin kicks him out. EK goes for a tope and is hit with a forearm. KC drops EK face first on the commentary table.

Tank Ledger comes out and throws KC into a LED board rail. The ref seems to know what happened but doesn't do anything about it. KC beats the 10 count in. EK flying kicks him. EK hits a top rope moonsault on KC and pins him.

Thoughts: It was similar to the last bout but worked better as the flyer was the face and the heavyweight was a heel. KC bullied EK around, EK flew and Tank Ledger evened the odds here.  I thought this was an okay bout and I liked it.

Robert Stone and Kendal Grey talk in the back. Stone says he made a 4-way next week for the Women's N.A Title. Natalya, Nikkita Lyons, Karmen Petrovic and Layla Diggs come in. Nat says Diggs will earn her title match and says Nikkita has earned the Evolve Women's Title. Nat says Karmen will earn her win over Jaida Parker tonight. Nat says she's an underappreciated legend and wants a title match. KG says it makes no difference to her. Stone agrees.

Thoughts: Nattie's new crew is quite random. Diggs has had issues with Lyons on Evolve so seeing them paired up doesn't work. I liked how Stone said he doesn't give out title shots with Kali earlier then just gave one out here.

Jaida Parker vs Karmen Petrovic

KP shoves her off the lock up. JP trips her into a side headlock. JP catches KP's crossbody and backbreakers her. KP is laid on the 2nd rope. KP step up butt drops her. JP is swept on the apron. JP's head is banged off the apron and the buckles. 

KP hits mounted corner punches. KP boots her in the corner then sliding kicks her. KP hits a soul foot for 2. KP hits chest kicks on JP. JP spinning back elbows her. JP rolls her into a head and arm hold. KP ropebreaks. JP baseball slides her outside.

Lyons grabs JP as she tries to get in. Nat hits shots on JP and Diggs refuses to hit JP. JP boots KP over. JP short arm lariats her then gordbusters her. JP hits a sitout double arm chokeslam and pins her.

Thoughts: It was just a match. There wasn't any great reason to care about this one. JP was the higher ranked girl and won to get Nattie's new group off to a poor start.

Shiloh Hill and Tatum Paxley talk in the back. Tatum says she will beat Kelani and get on the path to getting her title back. Tatum says she saw a side in Hill on Sunday she hadn't seen before. Hill says his trick is hiding it. Tatum says she's happy the fun side of Hill is back.

Niko Vance comes in and says The Culling is lighter without her and Shawn. Niko says the way to the top is picking off stars one by one. Hill says that's cool and says not to talk about Tatum like that.

Sean Legacy asks where Dorian Van Dux was earlier. Dux says he couldn't find him. Sean says it was embarrassing to not be able to find his partner. Sean tells him they have a 4-way next week for a title shot and he's excited.

Wren talks to Myles Borne in the back. Tavion Heights comes in. MB tells him it was a hell of a match. They talk about Tank attacking Keanu. Tav says best friends stick together. MB says he's been trying to tell him that this whole time.

Tony D'Angelo comes out. Tony says when you do things everyday, you take things for granted. Tony said he had to sign a bunch of waivers to defend his title. He says he paused before the last contract he signed s he wondered whether he should risk his health for his title. He says he's d@mn right he is. 

He says he told Naraku he was showing up for war and he got his hand raised. He says he's done with Naraku. He asks his next challenger what he's willing to do to take the title. He says there's no one in the locker room who can take the title off of him. Kendal Grey then comes out as Tony leaves.

Naraku then attacks Tony from behind. He hits him with a chair and has seemingly blown red mist in his healthy eye. Naraku STO's him on a chair. Refs come out to stop this. 

We see a replay after of the break which shows Naraku spitting mist in Tony's eye.

Tatum Paxley vs Kelani Jordan

They lock up and TP armdrags her. TP armdrags her off another lock up. TP's head is banged off the buckles. KJ knees her in the gut and throws her down backwards. KJ low crossbodies her for 2. TP throws her over her back with a chinlock. 

KJ elbows TP over. TP dropkicks KJ. KJ pulls TP out. KJ misses an asai moonsault. KJ handstands on the apron and TP superkicks her in the gut. We go to break. Right as we go to break, Kali Armstrong knocks someone down at ringside.

We return from PiP break. KJ hits boots on TP. TP hits forearms. KJ standing spanish flies her. They trade shots. TP boots her in the gut and KJ boots her back. TP htis flying forearms and high kicks her. TP germans her. 

KJ hangs over the 2nd rope and TP step up enzugiri's her. TP flipping legdrops her neck. TP misses a top rope 450. KJ misses a top rope crossbody. TP slingshot suplexes her, holds on and does an ugly looking sitout drop on KJ. TP does a bow and arrow variation on KJ.

KJ stomps TP's ankle then does a calf-crusher variation. They backroll each other and KJ is rolled out. TP forearms her. TP throws her in and KJ forearms her down. TP's leg is stuck over the top rope and KJ kicks it. TP spinning heel kicks her. KJ does an ugly twisting drop on TP's chest. KJ then does a twisting suplex on her. KJ wins with a split-legged moonsault.

Thoughts: I didn't like it at all. There was too much spinning around. They had a lot of moves that looked ugly here. TP's ankle was worked on a bit but had nothing to do with the finish.

A new girl then comes in and attcks TP from behind. She elbow drops TP. Vic Joseph says we all know who it is when we definitely do not. The new girl tries to rack TP but falls and gets back up. The new girl then drops her. The crowd boos her but doesn't give her a great reaction.

Overall thoughts: I didn't like this show at all. There were all kinds of random #1 contender's matches and titles set up. Stuff is still being thrown at the wall and it's not sticking. The main was sloppy and the new girl's debut after was just as sloppy. The brand is also absolutely bloated with talent right now and that doesn't really help anyone at this level. Keanu vs EK was the best match of the night. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 and would not recommend this at all. This was not good.

Cosmico vs Rey Fontes vs Nortenito

All 3 men are making their debuts here. They go for a triple lock up and Nort takes a double boot. Cos is thrown into a Rey forearm. Nort takes Rey down, Rey does kip up's and armdrags him down. Rey goes up and over and headflips away. Rey walks up the buckles and diving headscissors him. Rey corkscrew headsicssors Nort out then poses.

Cos flips off of Rey. Cos plants off the post and diving headscissors him inside. Cos satellite headscissors Rey out. Nort grabs his hat and dances in the ring. Nort gets Cos his hat and Cos tries to dance. Rey is then given the hat and he dances. 

Nort takes a double boot. Nort is chopped on the ropes. Nort is double hiptossed into the ropes but he lands on his feet. Cos is pushed into Rey then Nort flying headscissors Rey out. Nort springboard twisting crossbodies Cos. Nort step up enzugiri's Cos. 

Rey flying headscissors Nort then topes him outside. Cos does a step up tornillo outside onto his opponents. Rey spinning ddt's Cos but Cos headflips out. Rey forearms Cos. Rey wastelands him. Rey top rope moonsaults Cos for 2. Nort pop up euros Rey. Nort powerbombs Rey off a blocked hurricanrana for 2. 

Nort corner lariats Cos. Rey catches cos' top rope crossbody. Nort germans Rey, which makes him fallaway slam Cos. Rey step up enzugiri's Cos. Rey is thrown out. Cos tope con hilos him. Cos 619's Nort. Cos rope walks into the other corner then moonsaults off the top onto Nort. Cos pins Nort.

Thoughts: Now this was a much better way to start a show than 25 minutes of talking. This was a good bout and one of the best of the series so far. Cos did some nice flying and three had a fun juniors match. It really went about as well as it could have gone and LM52 definitely needed a bout like this one. I'd be up for seeing all 3 of these guys again.

Estrellita, a female wrestler, is introduced to the crowd.

Sagitarius talks to Mirvan in the dressing room. Mirvan hasn't seen here before. Big Mami spies on the conversation and Sag seems to talk down to Mir. Mami comes out of the bathroom and gives them looks.

Sagitarius and Lolita vs Mirvan and Big Mami

Mirvan is debuting here and seems to have some kind of Egyptian themed gimmick. Lolita is also making her debut.

Sag side headlocks Mir then side headlock takeovers her. Sag crucifixes her for 2. Mir armdrags her. Sag kips up and 2nd rope springboard diving armdrags her. Mir slips on the up and over and headflips away. Mir bridges out of a pin and they stand off. Mir shoves Sag away and Big tags in.

Big and Lolita go at it. Lolita goes to lock up and Big dances. Lolita dances at her. Big tries to dance again and is kicked. Lolita kicks her then Big pulls her down by the hair. Big armdrags Lolita then bodyblocks her down. Big then rolls and poses as Lolita goes out.

Mir and Sag get in. Mir flying headscissors Sag into the ropes and out. Mir topes her. Big tries shots on Lolita and is codebreakered. Sag trips Big and Lolita basement dropkicks Big in the corner. Lolita knee chokes Big in the corner. Mir is tied up in the ropes and Sag codebreakers her. Lolita basement dropkicks Mir then puts her foot in her face.

Sag kicks Mir in the gut and Lolita sunset flips Mir. Sag lariats Mir over for 2. Lolita pulls on Big's hair and Sag holds Big. Big is double leg choked on the ropes. Sag wants to do a move to Big, Lolita pulls her away on accident and they argue. Sag superkicks Lolita on accident. Big running back elbows her opponents. 

Big is double superkicked down. Mir pushes Sag into Lolita. Mir superkicks Sag into Lolita in the corner. Big corner bronco busters Lolita. Big hits a bad side slams on Sag. Big misses a splash on Sag. Lolita maybe codebreakers Big. Mir is double kicked by the heels.

Mir is abused in the corner by the heels. Mir is sat on the 2nd rope and codebreakered by Lolita. Sag goes up top and her and Lolita argue on the buckles. Mir sitout powerbombs Lolita down and pins her.

Thoughts: It started off well. They had some sloppy moments in the last part of this match and they definitely cut away to the crowd to hide some of it. The story of the match ended up being that Sag and Lolita couldn't work together and they eventually lost the match because of it. Lolita did a good job here and was effective as a heel. Mami has a ton of charisma and always comes off like a star. I liked it, just it's too bad they had some rough moments in the second half.

Lolita is double stomped on after by Mir and Sag. Estrellita comes in and saves Lolita. 

Leobardo then closes the show.

Overall thoughts: We had 2 matches here and both were fine. The men's match was a little better than the women's match and it was a good opening. Big Mami continued to look like a star in her match and Lolita did well. We had 5 new debuts here and Estrellita also appeared, making her debut on screen. I liked the show overall, but it didn't really follow up on anything from some of the other shows. I actually thought this was their best show yet, as they got right to the action and there was no excess talking. I also really do like the AI entrance videos they use as it looks cool and gives you an idea of what each person's character is. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall and it was an okay show.

Matt Bloom sees Kam Hendrix working out. Matt says they are pulling him from LFG for a few weeks. Kam says it's a bad feeling not being on this show. Kam says he's "found it". Matt says he's on the right path but hasn't found it yet. He says he's close though. He says he wants him to beat the tar out of faces and not pander to the fans.

Bloom, Booker T, Terry Taylor and Bubba Ray Dudley talk. Terry has Harley Riggins vs Matt DeRudder. They talk about Jax Presley being injured and Harley needing to wrestle on his own. Matt says Mike needs to know that less is more. Matt wants Harley to work a body part. Masyn Holiday fights Bayley Humphrey and Bubba will work on it. Bubba says he never got to work with Bay. Matt says Masyn is working about doing pretty moves too much. 

Booker T has Layla Diggs vs Kali Armstrong. Matt says Diggs went from being shy to being comfortable in the ring. Matt doesn't know who she is and says Bianca and Lash in her. Matt says Kali is unique and says she's a stud. She says her time will come.

We see Jax Presley. His arm is in a sling and he hurt it doing a clothesline. He tore his pec. He says him and Harley were on a roll prior to the injury. 

Harley says he doesn't done singles in a while. Mike says Terry tells him to do headlocks instead of flips. Terry says they had all kinds of violent move set up in their match. He wanted them to start off slower. Terry says the first few mins need to be the nice guy vs the a-hole. He says they want to start out with combat instead. Mike disagrees with Terry and says he needs to show who he is. Terry says he wants to show who he can do. Terry says if they could trade holds for 90 seconds before the fun stuff, he'd be happy.  

Mike DeRudder vs Harley Riggins

We are the Evolve arena for this. Mike side headlocks him. HR dives at his knee. Mike shoulders HR over. Mike armdrags and dropkicks him out. Mike handsprings and tries a flip but slips. Mike springboard dropkicks him off the apron. HR sweeps him on the apron. 

HR hits Mike in the back of the leg. HR lariats Mike over the top. Mike is sent into the steps. HR stomps the leg on the steps. HR yanks the leg and stands on his gut. HR misses a 2nd rope twisting swanton. Mike running lariats him and backdrops him for 2. Mike tries to go up top but holds his leg and comes down.

HR lariats him. HR kicks him in the leg and double stomps the back of his neck for 2.  They trade chops. Mike hits a big lariat. Mike sitout powerbombs him and pins him.

Thoughts: The stuff with Terry pre-match was funny because it went exactly as I thought it would. What was saying is really the type of wrestler he is. They gave Terry about 30 seconds of what he wanted. I thought the leg could have been worked better here since it was an important part of the match. They kept it moving. HR wasted a lot of time when he was in control.

Terry Taylor says he didn't want to like the match but it was good. He says Mike's selling was disjointed. He says heels take advantage and face weathers the storm. Terry says they gave him 1:25 of working holds. He says he wants them to do less and sell more. Harley says the moral of the story is doing less and the crowd will be more interested in the story.

Matt Bloom talks to them. Matt tells Mike less is more and says he's doing a better job of it. Matt says HR's chops were awful. 

Bubba talks to Bayley and Masyn. Bubba says he wants to see and hear the impact tonight. He says they are impressive side by side and he wants to feel it. He has them do the match step by step. Bubba says they had great attitudes and he wants to see them succeed. 

Masyn Holiday vs Bayley Humphrey

Masyn has quit WWE since this aired. She said it was stressful and just not for her.

They lock up and fight for control. Bay side headlocks her and shoulders her over. Bay blocks a slam then lariats her. Bay corner lariats her and throws her. Bay boots her in the corner and throws her again. Bay stomps her for 2. 

Bay hits elbows on her. Bay lariats her down. Masyn ddt's her off a suplex attempt. They trade shots on their knees and Bubba gets upset. Masyn hits some shots then flying back elbows her. Masyn shoulders her over and slams her for 2. 

Bay powerbomb lifts her into a powerslam and pins her.

Thoughts: They kind of tried to do a power vs power match here. I didn't really buy Masyn as someone who could handle Bay power for power but that's what they were told to do. It wasn't anything special.

Terry says he's never seen Bay's finisher before and Bubba says she's been doing it since Season 1 of LFG (correct).

Bubba talks to Masyn and Bayley. Bubba says it was a good and said Masyn understood the story. Bubba tells Masyn not to fire up small and says she's larger than life. Bubba wants Bayley to be loud when she yells at people so more people can hear it. Bubba wants her to find her inner animal. Bay says she thought they did a good job of telling the story.

Matt Bloom says he was proud of the story they told. Matt says they have forgiving and understanding fans. Matt says Masyn didn't do much in the match and needs to give him more. Matt says it was a solid match.

Booker T talks to Kali Armstrong and Layla Diggs. Diggs says Booker wants them to focus on the little things and not the moves.  Diggs says Booker knows what he's talking about and is so passionate. Diggs says he wants Layla to show she's in control. 

Booker tells Kali he's looking for the small things.

Kali Armstrong vs Layla Diggs

We are in the NXT arena for this.

KA hip throws her to start then waistlock takedowns her. LD front facelocks her. LD handsprings out of an arm throw. LD wristlocks her. LD armdrags her off the casadora then armdrags her into an armlock. LD tries an up and over and is pulled down. KA hits spears to the gut. 

KA broski boots her for 2. KA knees her in the gut. LD rolls her up for 1. KA boots her in the gut. KA butt drops her for 2. KA chinlocks her and LD hits her in the gut. LD boots her out of the corner. Kali misses a corner spear. LD leg lariats her and spin kicks her in the gut. LD step up enzugiri's her. 

LD flying pumping knees her for 2. They punch each other. LD cradles her for 2. LD flips out of a lariat and overhead kicks her. LD comes off the 2nd rope and KA powerslams her. KA runs the ropes, shoulders her over and LD does a flip for it. KA pins her.

Thoughts: It was a good bout and one of Layla's best so far. She showed off her agility some. Kali was great here. She moved really well, picked up lots of speed and everything she did had some force with it. I was very impressed with Kali here.

Bubba says Kali has something and Booker says she has everything. Layla's head is busted open. Kali says Layla's a warrior. Shawn Michaels asks how Lyla got it. Layla later says she got it from Kali butt dropping her. Layla says getting anything from Shawn is nice. 

Booker talks to Layla and Kali. Booker says Layla never gave him a dominant position and wanted her to fire up after the overhead kick. Booker says Kali showed her all the spots she needed and says the powerslam was perfect. 

Layla says she feels good and has progressed each match. Booker says Kali passed the test and is on the way to becoming great. Matt Bloom says she's a high potential talent and says the possibilities are endless.

Overall thoughts: The show ended on a strong point with Layla and Kali and that's a good thing. It was the usual LFG show for this season. We learned something about the wrestlers, the coach told them what to do, they did it then got reviewed. It makes sense, it's understandable and it's a reliable format. As always, I wouldn't say this was must see TV or anything, but I think they are getting as much out of the concept and situation that they can. They just have to work with a lot of limitations like green wrestlers, basic matches and not being able to follow through week to week. This was fine overall but not must see.

We are in Atlantic City, NJ. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see clips from Night of Champions.

Oba Femi comes out with the KOTR crown. Oba says the crowd's reaction is good for a ruler but he needs one for a king. He says he made Jey Uso a believer out of him and says destiny is not done with him. Oba says a choice has to be made. 

Brock Lesnar comes out with Paul Heyman. Brock introduces Oba as the KOTR. Brock says he doesn't watch the show but says it's a hell of a feat. Brock says he was KOTR a long time ago. He says Oba has a big decision to make on who to challenge and says Paul told him that Oba's good at calling him names. 

Brock says Oba called him a coward and a b!tch. Brock says you know what they say - "talk sh!t, get hit". Brock kicks him in the crotch and F-5's him. Oba gets up and asks for the mic. He says this is what Brock always does. Oba says Brock is in front of him and he's still a b!tch. He says they can play cat and mouse or fight at Summerslam. Brock says he accepts but it's Hell in a Cell.

Thoughts: That should be a fun twist. I'm interested to see how those guys do in a match like that. 

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Paul Heyman talks to Adam Pearce. He hypes up Brock vs Oba and says Adam should thank him. Austin Theory comes in. He asks what Paul was doing and says he didn't know he was here. He says Paul didn't answer his calls. Paul says now he knows he's here and walks off.

Adam goes up to Oba Femi. Adam asks if he heard Oba right. Oba says the titles will be there and he'll take it when he wants it. Oba says he wants Brock at Summerslam. Oba says it needs to happen and Adam needs to make it happen. 

Rey Mysterio vs Ethan Page

Page side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Page boots him in the gut and Rey flying headscissors him. Rey is flapjacked on the top buckle. Page hits corner spears. Rey enzugiri's Page from the apron and bangs his head off the top buckle. Rey is crotched up top then booted in tree of woe. Page side slams him on the top buckle. Rey bounces out to the floor.

We go to break and return. Page bangs Rey's head off the buckles. Rey's up and over headscissors is countered with a side slam. Rey spin kicks him in the gut. Page blocks a sunset flip and is pulled over the top. Rey bodyslides into a splash on Page on the floor. 

Rey top rope la silla's him and springboard twisting crossbodies him for 2. Rey hits mounted corner punches. Rey back elbows Page. Page wheelbarrow bombs him for 2. Rey hits a step up enzugiri. Page facekicks him. Page powerslams him for 2. Rey hurricanrana's him off the 2nd rope. Rey 619's him. Rey top rope splashes him for the win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter match but it was fine. The two worked well and Page continues to pad his resume and show what a valuable pick up he has been.

Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonaugh look for Danhausen in his lair. Dom takes a gift from the New York Knicks to lure Dan out. JD says they should wreck this place.

Joe Hendry is in the ring. He asks if we are ready for a concert. He brings out The Street Profits as special guests. Ford says they appreciate the love the fans have shown them. Ford thanks the fans. Ford then thanks Seth Rollins and Joe Hendry. Ford says it was like a beautiful song last week.

Joe then starts signing and playing guitar. Joe starts making fun of Austin Theory. Austin Theory then comes out. Austin says the thieves in the ring stole his title. Austin says he talked to Pearce and there will be a tag title rematch next week. Dawkins asks if Bron will be healthy enough and if he wants to get him hurt again. Austin says the dog will be off the leash next week. Austin says he appreciates Joe making his last song about him and says he will destroy Joe in the ring tonight. Joe says "Joe says no". Joe says they could wait until later or do it now. 

Austin Theory vs Joe Hendry

Joe hits euros on AT. AT backbreakers him. AT pounds on Joe and bangs his face off the mat for 2. AT chinlocks him. Joe jawbreakers him then ddt's him. Joe hits punches on AT. Joe running back elbows him and corner lariats him. Joe fallaway slams him.

Joe spinning lariats him for 2. AT spinning forearms him for 2. AT hits oblivion on him for 2. They trade shots. Joe hits a side effect and pins him.

Thoughts: We didn't get much of this and Austin went down pretty easy here. Joe did Santana's spinning lariat here and Matt Hardy's side effect.

Raquel Rodriguez asks Adam for a shot at the Women's IC Title. Adam says Maxxine Dupri wants a shot too. Raquel says she'll go through her for a title shot. Adam sets the match up between them tonight.

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez talks to Raquel. Liv is worried about Danhausen. RR says not to worry about him and says she has her back vs Iyo Sky as well.

Iyo Sky comes out to talk. Iyo says she's grateful to come back to the US as the Queen of the Ring. She says she beat Liv this weekend and will do it again and become women's champ again.

Liv Morgan comes out. Liv says she thought Iyo was better than this and says it makes her sick how she pretends she beat her fair and square. Liv says Iyo got lucky and only beat her due to Danhausen's curse. Liv says things will be different at Summerslam as she now doesn't respect her and is p!ssed off. She says she might remind her of what happens when you get on her bad side. She brings up Finn Balor, Vaquer and Rhea as examples. She says she will destroy her at Summerslam and remain the greatest women's champ of all time. She says Iyo's in for a lot of trouble until then.

Raquel and Roxanne come onto the apron. Iyo sends them out. Iyo germans Liv. Iyo buzzsaw kicks her. Iyo goes up top and Roxanne and Raquel stop her. Iyo is stuck in tree of woe then the heels group stomp her. Liv hits oblivion on Iyo. Liv then half crabs her. Officials come out to stop it. Liv hodls the title over Iyo.

LA Knight vs Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso is on commentary. LA goes up to him before the match and tells Jey to sit in his seat so he doesn't regret coming out.

They lock up and go in the corner. LA side headlock takeovers him. LA yanks on the arm. Uso armdrags him. LA back elbows him. LA boots him in the corner. LA running hip attacks him in the corner for 2. Uso uppercuts him and spinning enzugiri's him. 

Uso running hip attacks LA. Uso top rope crossbodies him for 2. Uso lariats LA over the top. Uso topes him. We go to break and return. Uso chops him. LA hits punches and Uso samoan drops him. Uso misses a corner hip attack. LA hits punches. 

LA flying lariats him and russian legsweeps him. LA jumping neckbreakers him. Uso superkicks him then spears him for 2. LA superplexes him. LA dropkicks Uso through the ropes. Jey accuses LA of cheating. LA teases throwing Jimmy into Jey. LA then boots Jey over.

LA reverse ddt's Uso. LA double jump elbow drops Uso then nails Jey on the apron. Uso rolls up LA and pins him.

Thoughts: Loses Always Knight strikes again. They mostly just hit their signature moves here. It was acceptable just nothing memorable.

LA hits Jimmy after then Jey jumps on LA. Jey foot chokes LA. Solo Sikoa comes out and samoan spikes Jimmy before leaving. Jey look at him and LA hits a BFT on Jey. 

We see clips after Night of Champion of Gunther yelling at Nick Aldis. He accuses him of screwing him. He says Nick is jealous because he's a failed wrestler. Nick tells him not to touch him. Nick shoves him, Gunther grabs him and officials break it up. The commentators announce both were sent home and Nick is on administrative leave.

The Uso's talk to Jacob Fatu. Jimmy asks where he's been. Fatu says he only takes orders from Roman. Fatu says he's going to Smackdown to finish things with Solo. Jey says he's going too and says Sami has no challenger so he wants to bring gold back to Bloodline.

Lyra Valkyria does a video after turning heel. Lyra asks why everyone is on her back. She says it takes 2 to lose a tag title match. She says it's unfair that she let the anger get the better of her one time and everyone forgets that she has been the bigger person for a year. She says she's not proud of what happened but isn't losing sleep over it. She says she wanted to bring Bayley to the top with her. She says there's a gap between who she is and who she could be. She says she never wanted to hurt Bayley, but it felt good to close the gap a little.

Maxxine Dupri walks past Chad Gable. She says she meant every word she said but she's sorry for how she handled it. Chad says she doesn't owe him forever. Chad tells her to focus on her match and says good luck.

Maxxine Dupri vs Raquel Rodriguez

Max bridges out of a face kick. Max hits kicks on her and flying headscissors her out. RR pulls her down by the hair. RR boots her in the gut then slingshot jackhammers her for 2. RR hits back elbows on her in the corner. RR racks her.

RR lariats Max down for 2. Max ddt's her. Max back elbows her then running lariats her. Max spinning roundhouse kicks her. Max step up legdrops her on the back of the neck for 2. RR hits a one-arm powerbomb and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a short one. Max got a lot of the offense in before losing here. Max has definitely lost favor over the last few months as she has been featured less and has lost a lot more. It was average.

Danhausen wonders who destroyed his lab in the back and sees that his Knicks gift is gone. Liv Morgan comes in and says this is what he goes. Liv says they trashed the lab. Dan asks what he did. Liv talks about his deeds. She says he needs to make this right or Judgment Day will make his life a living hell. 

Chad Gable vs JD McDonaugh

Dom is with JD and has Danhausen's Knicks jersey on.

Chad waistlock takedowns JD and wrestles him on the mat. Chad wristlocks him. JD headflips out and overhead throws him into an armlock. Chad rolls and trips him into a la magistral for 2. JD boots him in the gut. 

Chad back body drops him and hiptosses him. Chad chops him in the corner. JD sunset flips him and they trade pin attempts. Chad ankle locks him. Dom helps JD ropebreak. Chad goes after Dom and JD knocks Chad into the steps. JD drops Chad knee first on the steps. 

We go to break and return. Chad germans JD twice. Chad overhead release germans him for 2. Chad koppo kicks him in the corner twice. JD standing spanish flies him for 2. Chad hits a big forearm and headbutts him. Chad gets a 2 count on him. 

JD powerbombs him for 2 then brainbusters him for 2. JD takes an overhead belly to belly into the buckles. Chad ankle locks him. Chad goes up top, Dom distracts him and JD hits a top rope spanish fly for 2. 

Danhausen comes out. He distracts Dom and Dom distracts him. JD rolls up Chad for 2. Chad ankle locks JD and submits him.

Thoughts: I would have done without the top rope spanish fly post here. Chad worked the ankle lock in the last third of this match and Danhausen helped Chad get the win here. Both guys took some tough looking bumps here. It was acceptable.

Dom and JD open a briefcase that Dan left. It explodes powder in their faces. Dan then comes and takes the Knicks jersey from Dom. Dan poses near the entrance. Raquel Rodriguez nails Dan from behind and takes the Knicks jersey back. 

Austin Theory goes up to Maxxine Dupri in the back. Austin asks about what she said to Chad. Max says it's complicated with Chad. Austin says if she wants to go back down that road, maybe this isn't working out (they had been seen for months together in the back of various segments but it was never really mentioned). Otis and Akira ask if Max is okay. She says she doesn't know and walks away.

Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu come out. Roman says to acknowledge him. Seth Rollins comes out and interrupts. Seth stares Roman down and says, "Hello, my brother". Seth says they have been tied together for 14 years. Seth says Roman has a title that belongs to him. Seth says it's time to collect. Roman says he must be confused and is in the back of the line. He says he hasn't done anything to earn a shot. 

Seth says he's always at the front of the line. Seth says Roman owes him and he owns Roman. Seth talks about their history together. Seth says Roman beat everyone for 4 years except for one person. Seth says he owned him since he chaired him. 

Seth says he's not here to ask but is here to give him something. Seth says Roman is that great. He says Roman has done a lot but has never been able to beat him. Seth says this may be Roman's last chance to fix that. Seth says they came in, knocked the door down, kicked the old gen to the curb and made this their place. Seth says they are closer to the end than the beginning. Seth says there's a new generation of wrestlers who want to do the same thing to them. Seth says it may be their last chance to do this dance. 

Seth says Roman is a hall of famer but if he doesn't accept his challenge, he will never escape the ghost of Seth Rollins. Roman says it's been a long time since he heard any truth come out of his mouth, but he's right. Roman says he doesn't want to beat him, he needs to beat him. Roman says he will do that at Summerslam. Roman says he accepts.  

Thoughts: It was a nice idea but Roman has beaten Seth multiple times before.

Overall thoughts: It was a weaker Raw with a lot of the stars not in action and the matches not going that long. They did mostly set up the big stuff at Summerslam though and now they've got a lot of time to build up to it. I thought Page vs Rey was maybe the best match on here, though the main event would be a more obvious pick for both. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it had some highs like the final segment and Brock coming out but it could have been better. The show was okay overall.

Note - AEW is running against NXT The Great American Bash 2026 here. AEW booked this show to go against TNA Slammiversary, but TNA dropped to 4PM to avoid AEW and WWE NXT stepped in to take on AEW.

The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) vs. El Sky Team (Místico and Máscara Dorada) vs. Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi and Titán)

Titan dropkicks and stomps Mist. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies him and flying headscissors him. Mist enzugiri's him from the apron. Mist springboard diving headscissors him. MD and a Buck get in. MD takes him down and they evade each other. They try dropkicks at the same time and headflip up together. 

A Buck is thrown into MD. MD takes a buckle bomb + enzugiri combo. MD then takes a top rope double stomp from the catapult position. MD corkscrew kicks a Buck. MD flips into the ropes and hits a double armdrag. Shingo and MD stare down.

Shingo blocks an armdrag and elbow drops MD. MD corkscrew headscissors Shingo. Shingo shoulders him over. MD takes a suplex + springboard splash for 2. Mist springboard diving headscissors Shingo. Mist walks up the ropes and diving corkscrew armdrags Titan out. A Buck is popped up into a headscissors on Mist. MD is back body dropped into a headscissors on a Buck. A Buck walks up the ropes and diving headscissors MD. Titan hits a double hurricanrana. 

MD is popped up into a headscissors off the buckles onto Titan outside. Titan hits corner lariats then he is slammed. Mist springboard swantons Titan. MD gets a 2 count on Titan. MD's tornillo armdrag is blocked and a Buck hits locomotion northern lights suplexes on him. A Buck then northern lights' Titan and MD together. 

Shingo ddt's Matt. A Buck is held in the air for a 2nd rope diving legdrop. A Buck shiranui's Titan off Shingo then ddt's Shingo. A Buck superkicks Shingo then does a diving armdrag + headscissors on Unbound. Mist springboard crossbodies The Bucks then double armdrags them after being hiptossed into the ropes. The Bucks take stereo 619's.

Mist springboard plancha's his opponents outside. MD 2nd rope ssp's his opponents and Mist outside. MD and a Buck hit superkicks and Shingo lariats them over. Shingo double lariats Mist and a Buck. 4 men kip up together and hit 4 superkicks on Shingo.  They then kip up together again and group superkick Titan. Mist and a Buck take canadian destroyers. MD then takes a slingshot canadian destroyer. 5 men then flop down together.

Mist hits enzugiri's on Shingo. Mist top rope spanish flies Shingo. A Buck top rope elbow drops Mist. Titan top rope double stomps a Buck then a Buck top rope 450's Titan. MD top rope ssp's Titan and a Buck. Mist la mistica's Shingo.

Mist is popped up into a kick. Shingo running lariats Mist. Titan tornado ddt's Mist. Shingo landslides Mist and Titan double stomps Mit off the buckles for 2. 4 men trade forearms. Shingo takes a double superkick + crucifix bomb. Titan's top rope crossbody is caught and he takes a meltzer driver. Titan is double pinned by The Bucks.

Thoughts: LOL at that result. MD and Mist are off to a hot start to their ROH Tag Title reign by immediately losing 2 days after winning the titles. It was a spotfest as expected with lots of action at a fast pace and little meaning anything. They got a little too cute with the superkicks here for me.

Kenny Omega vs. Zack Sabre Jr. 

They lock up and wrestle on the mat. Zack gets a pin attempt in. They test strength. Zack euros him down then twists KO's neck with his feet. Zack dropkicks him in the back of the neck. KO boots him out of the corner and hurricanrana's him. KO slingshot plancha's him outside.

Zack twists KO's fingers outside and bangs his hand off the rails. Zack's head is banged off the commentary table. Kenny drops the table top on Zack. Kenny then double stomps the table top onto Zack on the floor.

They get on one commentary table and Zack does an octopus on him there. Zack stomps KO's arm into the apron. Zack euros Kenny in the arm. Zack hits facekicks and running facekicks KO. KO flying corner facekicks Zack. KO over the back fameassers him. KO bangs Zack's head off the mat. KO tope con hilos Zack outside. 

KO top rope dropkicks Zack from behind for 2. KO ushigoroshi's him. Zack bangs KO's arm off his shoulder. They trade shots. Zack hits euros and KO knees him in the face. Zack slaps him. KO snap dragon suplexes him twice. 

KO knees Zack in the gut for 2. Zack rolls up KO for 2. KO does an armbar. Zack PK's KO and hits chest kicks. KO blocks one. Zack armbars him and KO ropebreaks. Zack stomps KO's arm. KO hits chops. Zack pele kicks KO's arm. KO running knees him in the back of the head. 

Zack facekicks him then KO lariats him. KO pumping knees him from behind in the corner. They go on the buckles. Zack sleepers him there and KO falls back to break it. KO knees him in the face twice. Zack ankle locks him and KO pushes him away. Zack PK's him and takes a flying pumping knee. KO flying knees him from behind and poisonrana's him. Zack backrolls KO with a bridge for 2. KO piledrivers him. KO pumping knees him.

Zack does a bridge pin on KO for 2. Zack michinoku drivers him for 2. They slap each other. KO dragon suplexes him and pumping knees him. Zack triangles him. KO powerbombs him to escape. KO knees him in the face. KO hits an OWA and wins.

Thoughts: Kenny won as expected here. It got a lot of time and was a slower paced match. It was one of Kenny's less offensive bouts as he didn't overdo it too much. I didn't think this was anything great though. Zack was a little more disciplined than usual in working the arm here. It was acceptable.

AEW Continental Title - Jon Moxley (c) vs. Bandido

Mox takes Band down. Band front facelocks him. Band does the finger gun point at him. Mox gives him the finger. Mox does a roll over Band and poses. Mox and Band trade chops for forearms. Band dropkicks Mox. Mox sends Band to the floor and topes him. 

Band is thrown in and he tope con hilos Mox. Band goes for a corner splash and Mox gets his feet up. Mox piledrivers Band on the steps. Band is busted open and Mox bites him. Mox rips Band's mask. Mox short arm lariats him and hits mounted forearms. Mox hits mounted corner punches.

Band throws Mox on a sitout powerbomb. Mox bites him. Band top rope tornillo's Mox then flying forearms him. Band hits mounted corner punches. Band dropkicks him. Band running leg lariats Mox for 2 Mox's eye is busted open.

Mox knees him in the gut. Band gorilla press slams Mox. Band goes for a top rope frogsplash and Mox gets his knees up. They trade facekicks. Band germans him. Mox lariats him then death rider ddt's him for 2. Band bites Mox's head on the buckles. Band top rope moonsault fallaway slams Mox for 2.

Mox grounded chokes Band. Mox bulldog chokes him. Mox hits crossface shots. Mox puts the choke on again and Band is out. Mox wins.

Thoughts: I wasn't a big fan of it. It was a slower bout and not super exciting. I didn't believe Band was winning and he didn't. Band also lost here as the ROH champ which sucks. I thought this was just average.

They shake hands after and Brody King checks on Band.  

IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship - Shota Umino (c) vs. Pac

Pac boots then stomps Shota in the corner. Shota is thrown out and sent into the rails. Pac slams Shota on the floor then sends him into the rails. Pac top rope dropkicks Shota. Pac facekicks him. Shota dropkicks him. They trade shots in the corner. Shota pounds on him and gets the edge. 

Shota running euros Pac and fisherman suplexes him for 2. Shota sunset flips him for 2. Shota trips him into the ropes and slingshot apron ddt's him over the 2nd rope. Shota runs around the ring and dropkicks Pac into the rails. Shota bridging ddt's Pac on the floor. 

Shota powerbombs him inside for 2. Pac overhead belly to belly suplexes Shota into the buckles. Pac stomps Shota in the corner. Pac pulls a table out. Pac superkicks him. Pac top rope moonsaults him outside.

Pac top rope belly to belly superplexes him for 2. They trade forearms. Pac boots him in the head and piefaces him. They trade forearms. Pac spin kicks him in the gut. Shota forearms him down. Pac rebound germans him twice. Shota tries to fire up and falls down. Pac razor's edge's him over the top through a table outside.

Pac top rope 450's him for 2. Pac puts him in the brutalizer. Shota forearms him after Pac misses a to prope move. Shota chest headbutts him down. Shota running knees him for 2. Pac poisonrana's him then superkicks him. Shota lariats him for 2. Shota double underhook ddt's him then fisherman busters him for the win.

Thoughts: I was surprised to see Shota win here. I don't think the table spot really fit in here and the finishing stretch could have been a little better.. I would have liked to have seen them wrestle a bit faster at times. It wasn't bad but that table spot really should have taken Shota out.

Mox gets in the ring and stares at Shota after. Hiorshi Tanahashi comes out and Mox backs off. Tana puts the belt around Shota's waist and raises his hand.

AEW Women's Title - Thekla (c) vs. Starlight Kid

Thek gets an entrance with lots of fire and people holding fire sticks. The Stardom president Okada is here for this.

Kid cartwheels over Thek then dropkicks her out. Thek kicks her and pounds on her. Thek pulls on her mask. Kid throws her down and hits mounted shots on her. Thek kicks her off the ropes and hangs out there. Kid dropkicks her out. Kid is pulled down from the apron. Kid is thrown into the rails outside. Thek hits mounted shots on her against the rails. 

Kid is sent into the rails again. Thek grabs Stardom's president. Kid defends him and hits Thek. Thek stomps on Kid. Thek kneels on her for 2. Thek throws her by the mask. Kid cartwheels out. Thek stomps on her. 

Thek slaps her around. Kid 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her for 2. Kid standing moonsaults her for 2. Kid drives Thek's leg into the mat and over the 2nd rope. Kid dragon screws her around the 2nd rope. Thek hanging headscissors Kid over the top rope. 

Thek is up top and Kid armdrags her down. Kid is up top and is hit. Thek spider superplexes her. Thek stays up there and Kid springboard dropkicks her. Thek forearms her then Kid knees her in the face on the apron. Kid tombstones her on the apron.

Kid cross-legged fisherman suplexes her for 2. Kid misses a top rope moonsault. Thek running spears her. Kid basement dropkicks her in the back. They trade forearms on their knees. They trade chest forearms. Kid slaps her. Thek lariats her.

Thek running facekicks her twice. Thek top rope crossbodies Kid for 2. Kid dropkicks Thek in the knee then stretch mufflers her and spinning drops her with it. Kid keeps the holds on. Kid hooks her neck with her legs and Thek ropebreaks.

Kid tombstones her for 2. Kid top rope moonsaults her for 2. Kid backrolls her with a bridge for 2. Thek forearms her. Thek spears her for 2. Thek curbstomps her twice and pins her.

Thoughts: The AEW Women's Title was on the line so Kid had no real chance of winning this. I thought it was average. It got a lot more time than it needed and was another slower match. Kid did her usual match with some flying and a little leg work. Thek hit her spears and stomps. The Thekla vs Okada feud is really not as interesting as AEW makes it out to be. The tombstone on the apron should have meant more here.

Triangle of Madness comes down after and gives Thek scissors. Thek cuts Kid's mask and takes it off. Thek spits in it and hits Okada's face with it. 

AEW Tag Titles - Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) (c) vs. The Dogs (David Finlay and Clark Connors)

The Dogs pose for photos on the ramp and nail one of the photographers.

Clark and Cage lock up and let go. Clark knees him in the gut and hits punches and chops on him. Cage 2nd rope twisting sunset flips him for 2. Cope shoulders DF over and side headlocks him. DF side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Cope trips DF. DF takes a side slam + reverse ddt combo. Cage sends Clark's head into DF's crotch.

Cage hits mounted corner punches on Clark. DF begs off from Cage. Cage misses a corner spear on Clark and goes shoulder first into the post. Cage is sent into the post. DF gets a 2 count on Cage then knee drops his wrist with the medical pad on it. DF rakes Cage's face. DF boots Cage in the corner. 

Clark curbstomps Cage. Clark top wristlocks Cage. Cage hits punches on Clark then Clark single arm ddt's him. Cage back body drops DF. DF whips Cage down by the arm. DF stomps Cage's arm. DF forearms Cage and stomps him. Clark lights a match and sticks it in Cage's head.

DF hits forearms on Cage. Cage lariats DF down. Cage goes for the tag and Clark pulls Cope off the apron. DF bangs Cage's wrist off the steps. The heels put the steps on Cage's wrist then stand on the stands. Cope saves Cage and throws him in. Cage eye pokes DF and tags Cope in.

Cope comes in and cleans house. He facekicks Clark then impaler ddt's DF for 2. Cope misses a corner spear and the heels double shoulderblock him. Cope facekicks DF. Cage stands on DF's back on the 2nd rope. Cope crossbodies DF's back on the ropes. Clark sends Cage back first into the rails. Cope takes a stiff high/low for 2.

Cope suplexes DF into the buckles, knocking Clark down to the floor. Cope pops up DF into a Cage spear. The ref gets knocked down. Cope and Clark run at each other with spears at the same time and collide. DF grabs the shillelagh and nails Cage with it. 

DF goes to hit Cope with the shillelagh. The lights go out. The Bang Bang Gang appear on the stage. Jay White then appears in the ring, making his return after like a year away. Jay bladerunners DF. Cope spears DF and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a nice little match. I had no issues with it. Both teams did what they were supposed to do, it made sense and Jay White returned here.

Jay celebrates with and Cope then joins The Gang.

Women's Owen Hart Cup Final - Mercedes Moné vs. Maya World

Mone slaps her and is put in a backslide. Maya does pin attempts on her. Maya cartwheels over Mone. Maya cartwheels out of Mone's headscissors and does Mone's dance. Maya trips her then boots her in the gut. Mone goes out off a failed charge. Maya cannonballs Mone off the apron.

Maya bridges out of a lariat and springboard diving armdrags her into a crossface attempt. Mone boots Maya off the apron. Mone pulls her down by the hair. Maya rolls Mone into a suplex for 2. They fight on the buckles. Maya's head is banged off the buckles. Mone 2nd rope diving meteora's her on the apron. Mone then metora's her off the apron outside. Mone meteora's her off the 2nd rope for 2.

Mone snapmares and hair throws Maya. Mone meteora's her for 2. Mone throws Maya out. Mone throws Maya in. Mone backcrackers her and foot chokes her. Mone rolls her into a double stomp. Mone talks trash and Maya hits a flurry of shots on her. Maya upkicks her. Maya rolls her into a double stomp. 

Maya step up enzugiri's her then claymore kicks her. Maya springboard cutters her for 2. Maya shining wizards her. Mone suplexes her 3x. Maya gets her knees up on Mone's top rope splash. Maya cradles Mone for 2. 

Mone crossfaces Maya. Maya gets a 2 count on her and forearms her down. Maya fallaway slams her and holds on for 2 more. She sends Mone out of the ring on the last one. Maya topes Mone. Maya top rope swantons Mone for 2.  

Maya superkicks Maya's head into the buckles. Mone sunset bombs her into the buckles. Mone corner meteora's her for 2. Maya headscissors her out of a tombstone. Maya rolls her up for 1. Mone hits a money maker for 2. They go on the apron and Maya sunset bombs her on the floor.

Maya 2nd rope moonsaults her outside then does it inside for 2. Mone rolls her up for 2. Maya crossfaces her. Mone reverses it. Mone backcrackers her and crossfaces her. Maya submits.

Thoughts: I was alright with the idea of it but it just dragged and I couldn't wait for it to end. Mone won as expected. Maya got a lot of hope spots in and shots at the win but lost in the end.

Athena is interviewed by Renee after. She says the better woman won. Ath says she is the greatest champ of all time but her pupils are filled with disappointment and regret. Ath tells Maya to keep dreaming big because she belongs at the back of the line.

Steel Cage Match - Team Briscoe (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita, and Darby Allin) vs. MJF and The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade El Ídolo)

We have one circular cage for this with like two 12-foot high doors. 

All 12 men line up and fight. Jake's head is banged off the cage as Fletcher gets it too. Mark dropkicks Kevin through the ropes then MJF lariats Mark on the apron. Darby climbs the cage and Jake apron and cage powerbombs him. Okada sends Rod into the cage then Kev does as well. A table is set up and Mark's head is banged off of it. 

The Family has their own table on it with a Don/MJF photo. MJF and Idolo try to one up each other and fight. Rod hits the heels with a hockey equipment bag. KOR has an original Nintendo and hits Okada with a controller. Fletcher is clotheslined with a controller. KOR hits Fletcher with the Nintendo.

Mark pours thumbtacks out. Jake is thrown out and Rod dropkicks Jake through the ropes. Rod is swung into the cage from Jake. Mark tope con hilos Jake through the ropes. Fletcher is bleeding and he lawn darts KOR into the buckles. Fletcher throws Mark off the top into tacks.

Darby hits Fletcher with a skateboard. MJF eye rakes Darby. MJF back body drops Darby chest first onto tacks for 2. Darby's palms are bleeding. MJF grabs a broom and pushes the tacks out. 

MJF poses, OC pulls the broom up into his crotch. OC grabs a bag of orange slices with a note from Willow Nightingale on them. The Conglomeration eat them. Fletcher slaps them away. OC then gets orange juice in Fletcher's cut. OC hurricanrana's Idolo over the top. 

Okada and KT square off. They trade forearms and KT drops him. KT opens up a bookbag and gives him the finger. KT forearms Okada down. Fletcher half and half suplexes KT then helluva kicks him. Okada is pushed into Fletcher. Fletcher superkicks Okada on accident. KT double germans Fletcher and Okada.

Darby and Kevin forearm each other. Kevin boots him in the corner.  Darby boots him out of the corner and john woo's him. Darby code red's him. Darby is crotched up top and Jake chairs him. Kevin coast to coast dropkicks a chair into Darby's face for 2. Mark uppercuts Kevin then uranage's him. MJF throws a chair at Mark's head. 

MJF rakes Mark's busted open head. OC is sent into the cage. Okada opens up a hockey bag and Lio Rush is inside. Lio points at the sky and bites Okada's hand. Lio handspring kicks Okada off the apron. Lio spin kicks Kevin in the head. 

Lio seated springboard stunners Idolo then low topes Kevin. Lio wants MJF's Dynamite Diamond Ring. Okada rainmakers Lio. MJF tells Jake to put Lio in the bag again. Lio is then put in the bag. Jake  chains the bag and throws it under the ring. 

Mark hits shots on the heels and he hits them with a ladder. Mark throws a ladder at Idolo's face. Mark hits shots on MJF. KOR slaps and kicks Jake. KOR flying knees Jake. Jakes takes a facekick on the apron then an olympic slam off apron through a table. 

Idolo running facekicks KOR. Idolo corner meteora's KOR. Okada dropkicks KT. KT back body drops Okada on the apron then pumping knees him there. Fletcher superkicks KT on the apron. KT blue thunders Fletcher off the apron through a table.

MJF low blows Mark. OC puts his hands in his pockets and MJF drops him with a punch. Darby reverse ddt's MJF. Darby top rope coffin drops MJF. Kevin top rope splashes MJF when Darby moves. Kevin jumps from the post to the cage then gets on top of it. Darby follows. Kevin touches a bag on top of the cage (the announcers say Darby booby trapped it), it explodes and Kevin falls off the cage through 2 double stacks of tables. Darby then dives on the heels off the cage.

Mark jay drillers MJF for 2. Jake hits mounted shots on Mark. Jay chairs Mark. MJF wants Idolo to hold Mark for a move. He protests but does it. Idolo then drops Mark and spinning back elbows MJF. Idolo and Jake argue. Jake shoves him and Idolo kicks him in the crotch. Idolo then reveals a "f*ck Don, f*ck MJF" shirt". Mark jay drillers Jake and pins him.

Thoughts: This is what AEW is. We had comedy here when it didn't always fit. We had some ridiculous stuff like exploding back packs. We had random teams. We had logic issues with Idolo going through a whole cage match just to screw MJF (when he could have done it at the start and skipped all this), blood and lots of big spots. It was entertaining and had a lot of different things. But if you were hoping for a big serious cage match, this wasn't quite it. They didn't get too wild here and this was much more toned down than other AEW bouts. 

We get a Willow video where she talks about needing to light her match again.

Mark Briscoe is interviewed. He says MJF has no friends and says MJF's title is about to be his. He says he wants his title match on Dynamite and says it's his time.

Men's Owen Hart Cup Final - Will Ospreay vs. Swerve Strickland

SS rides in on a motorcycle with a cigar and some kind of necklace.

They trade shots to start. SS facekicks him and ducks a hidden blade. SS stalls outside and clubs on Will in the ring. Will flying headscissors SS. SS is swept on the buckles then Will dropkicks him out. Will slingshot plancha's him outside. 

Will forearms him inside and hits Kawada kicks. They trade chops. SS is hit with snake eyes. SS rolls into a flatliner on him for 1. SS facekicks him. SS hits suplexes. SS puts Will on his shoulder and neckbreakers him. 

Will enzugiri's him. Will hits punches. Will handspring corkscrew kicks SS. Will springboard forearms SS. Will corner facekicks SS. Will top rope diving forearms SS from behind. SS avoids a hidden blade. SS backbreakers him. Will forearms him. 

SS spin kicks him in the gut. Will step up enzugiri's him. Will takes a powerbomb into a powerslam for 2. SS boots Will off the apron. Will sends SS' shoulder into the post. Will armbreakers SS over the shoulder and double stomps his arm. Will rolling armbars SS on the floor. SS taps but it's on the outside so it doesn't count. Prince Nana throws a drink at Will. SS apron powerbombs Will. Will's face is catapulted into the bottom rope connector. Will is busted open.

SS punches Will down in the ring. Will hits punches while seated and SS suplexes him. Will hits a standing spanish fly. Will hits shots and Will stunners him off a suplex attempt. Will hits a styles clash for 2. Will hidden blades him and SS back elbows him in return.

SS is crotched up top. SS is hurricanrana'd from the top. Will corkscrew kicks him in the back of the head for 2. Will buzzsaw kicks him and superkicks him. SS hits a dead eye on him for 2. SS misses a top rope double stomp on the apron. Will swings SS' head into the steps outside. 

SS is now busted open big. Will hits mounted shots on SS and bangs his head off the steps several times. They go on the steps. Nana grabs Will and SS house call kicks Will off the steps. Will does a styles clash to SS on the commentary table.

They get in and Will springboard dropkicks him. Will hits an os cutter for 2. Will hook kicks SS a few times, spinning forearms him and drops him with a forearm. SS meets the 10 count to get up and Will hidden blades him for 2. 

They fight on the buckles and SS double stomps the back of Will's neck. Will rolls up SS for 2. SS house call kicks him for 1. Will back elbows him. They lariat each other at the same time and both go down. They stare down at each other and get in the corners. Will flying hidden blades him and hits a stormbreaker for 2. SS low blows Will.

SS vertebreakers Will for 2. SS hits his own hidden blade. SS hits a JML driver for 2. The Death Riders come out. SS house call kicks Will. Will no sells it and fires up. Will back elbows him. Will buckshot hidden blade's him for 2. Will hits a paradigm shift ddt then a death rider ddt. Will hits a tiger driver '91 and wins.

Thoughts: Will won as expected here. There was just no way he was losing since All In is coming up in Wembley. It got like close to 40 minutes. It had a slower pace to it. They didn't sell as much as they should in the end stretch of this, but I think they built up the match enough for it not to be a huge problem. It was a watchable match, they bled and tried to make it feel big without going too crazy and they kept it interesting. I would say it was a good match overall.

Will stares down Swerve after. The Death Riders celebrate. Will holds the Owen Hart Cup up and The Death Riders put Will on their shoulders as fireworks shoots off. Will then kisses his wife outside.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual very long AEW PPV. There was no reason for this to go 5 hours. And doing it on a Sunday night at 8PM is just plain mean when most people have to go to work or school the next day. The Forbidden Door concept is pretty much done. AEW took NJPW's best talent and everything people wanted to see has been done already. I'd say the main event was the best match of the night. Mostly everything hovered around just average to okay here as a lot of the matches went too long and were too slow. A lot of regulars were missing from here like Ricochet, Eddie Kingston, Jericho, The Hurt Syndicate and FTR even though all are seemingly available and most of the matches had limited storylines involved. I'd give it a lower 6 out of 10 and say it was okay overall.

Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect open the show. Vince hypes up the tag title match tonight. Perfect predicts The ND's will lose the titles to Money Inc.

We then do a split screen with Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan, who will be calling the tag title match. Gorilla says The Natural Disasters bring too much to the table for Money Inc. Bobby says if anyone can beat The ND's, it's Money Inc.

The Nasty Boys were supposed to get the tag title shot but Jimmy Hart gave it to Money Inc instead. The Nasty's come out before it starts. The Nasty's point and yell at Jimmy Hart. Money Inc go up to The Nasty's from behind in the ring and those two teams argue. Dibiase gives Knobbs money to pay him off. Knobbs says "I don't think so". IRS then chips some cash in. Knobbs counts the cash. The Nasty's put the money in their pockets and start beating up on Money Inc. The Nasty's hit lariats on them and throw IRS out. Ted then takes a double clothesline. The Nasty's then leave with the cash.

Thoughts: I enjoyed this. It made sense and it was a nice big happening at time when there weren't a lot of them on TV. This feels like the beginning of a face turn for The Nasty's.

WWF Tag Titles - The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) vs Money Inc. (Ted Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster)

This starts with IRS down outside of the ring and The ND's double teaming Ted. Ted takes a double shoulderblock then takes splashes from The ND's in the corner with Quake splashing Ty's back into Ted. Ty slams Ted then IRS trips Ty from behind. Ted hits Ty from behind. Ty's head is banged off the buckles. He takes shots from IRS.

Ted bangs Ty's head off the buckles. IRS elbow drops Ty. IRS tries to suplex him but can't. Ty suplexes IRS. Quake and Ted get in. Quake jumping kicks Ted and back elbows him. Quake atomic drops IRS out of the ring. Quake powerslams Ted then elbow drops him. The Headshrinkers and Afa, who have never even been mentioned on Superstars before (well Afa obviously has but you know what I mean), come out.

The Headshrinkers argue with Ty and distract him. Quake takes a double shot from behind. Quake then is thrown over the top and takes a big bump into the rails. We go to break and return with Quake holding his head after hitting it off the rails.

Quake is thrown into the corner then IRS climbs on his back for a sleeper. Quake falls into the buckles and breaks it. Ted sleepers Quake. Quake backs up into the corner to break it again. IRS gets on Quake's back with a sleeper. Ted puts the million dollar dream on Quake. Quake goes to his knees and is out. Money Inc. win!

Thoughts: I know what they were going for here, but I'm a little more welcoming to Bobby Heenan's take on what happened. The Nasty's beat up Money Inc before it started. The match started with IRS down outside. The ND's then double teamed Ted. That wasn't a great way to make The ND's look like faces here and the story of this one was pretty whack. The Headshrinkers made their Superstars debut here. They had had debuted a month or two earlier on Prime Time, but that episode doesn't exist in full and even I don't have it. I have no idea why The Headshrinkers would be mad at The ND's. I'm just glad we actually got to see this title change unlike some others this year. Quake took a nice bump to the outside in this one.

Heenan invites Jimmy Hart up to the booth after and hugs him. Gorilla asks why Hart did what he did to The Nasty's. He says he's the manager and he calls the shots. He said he made the right choice as Money Inc are the tag champs. The Nasty Boys then come down. Saggs grabs Hart. Knobbs then grabs Heenan and Heenan runs. Knobbs says Hart stole their belts and says he's messing with The Nasty's. He calls Hart a runt and threatens him. Money Inc and various officials then come down. Hart gets a pit stop and double gorilla pressed off the commentary stand onto Money Inc.

Thoughts: Hart took a big bump here and was great at selling his fear of being thrown. The Nasty's are definitely faces now.

Mr. Perfect and Vince McMahon talk. Perfect says The Nasty's had no business throwing Hart off the stage. Perfect says Money Inc is a better team.

Yokozuna vs Bill Jordan 

 

Yoko hits a throat shot and uranage's him. Yoko crushes Bill's head with a legdrop then hits a belly to belly suplex. Yoko hits a hard running back elbow in the corner. Yoko then banzai drops him to win.

Thoughts: This is Yokozuna's Superstars debut. He looked really good here. He could move well for his size and he squashed Bill. He also showed some personality in this and looked like a boss. It's clear WWF has found a new prospect and Yokozuna is going to be a force.

We see clips of the Nailz/Taker stare down from last week.

Sean Mooney hypes up the 11/7/92 Boston Garden show.

The Macho Man does a promo. He says you gotta dish out what you take and says you gotta sink to the lowest depths to get to the top. He says Razor and Flair are getting dis-assembled one by one. He says he will bring Razor Ramon down.

Nailz says cages are for wild animals and crazy men like himself. He says he will finish Boss once and for all in the cage.

The Big Boss Man does a promo. He says the thing with Nailz has gone on too long. He says the only way to solve it is in the cage. He says they both know this environment well. Boss says he's not climbing out of the cage or walking through the door. He's leaving him in a bloody pulp and leaving him like the loser he is. 

Bam Bam Bigelow does a promo. He says beware because he's coming.

Tatanka vs Dale Wolfe

A clown with a giant mallet is spotted in the crowd...

Dale eye rakes Tat then Tat hiptosses him. Tat trips him and armlocks him. Tat hits a back body drop then armlocks him. Tat leapfrogs and dropkicks him. Dale back elbows him in the corner and hits some punches. Dale elbows Tat in the neck and rakes his back.

Dale and Tat trade shots. Tat jumping chops him then hits a regular chop. Tat jumping chops him then slams him. The clown dances in the aisle as Tat comes off the top. Tat hits a samoan drop and gets the pin.

Thoughts: I liked this one. It was a bit even and Tat moved well. We also got our first sighting of Doink The Clown.

Joe Beavens

Joe Beavens is on the stage. He's new. He interviews Ric Flair and Razor Ramon. Ric says there's no one who knows more about surviving in the WWF than him. He said he survives by being alongside a man who knows more about surviving than any man alive - Razor Ramon. Razor says Warrior and Macho are gloating. Razor says they are both champs and don't need belts to prove it. Ric says one of Macho and Warrior will pay the price. He says one of them doesn't leave the building. Ric says they are focused. He says they will survive, hurt somebody then style and profile.

Survivor Series Report

Mean Gene Okerlund talks about the show. Bret Hart does a promo. He says him and Shawn will face each other and their careers are similar. Bret says Shawn's a great wrestler. He said he dedicated his whole life to be champ and says it will take a hell of a man to beat him. He says we will see if he's that man.

The Big Boss Man fights Nailz in a nighstick on a pole match. Nailz says he can't wait until SS. He says he will climb the pole, grab the stick and finish the job this time. He says Boss will find out what it's like to serve hard time.

Rick Martel vs Tatanka has been announced. The Undertaker and Paul Bearer are at Paul's workshop.

Taker's working on a coffin. Paul says there's never been a coffin match. He says the winner will be the survivor and the loser will rest in eternal damnation. We see the blueprints for it. Paul says Taker will enjoy an early Thanksgiving dinner while Kamala will be an offering.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan does a video. He says you can vote for the candidate of your choice Tuesday and says make your vote count.

Shawn Michaels vs Steve May

 

Shawn does an inset promo with Sherri. He said he spread his wings and is soaring with the eagles. He says he's taking Bret's title and putting it around his waist. Marty Jannetty then jumps the guard rail. He appears in the mirror reflection.

Marty beats up on him and back body drops him. He sends him into the corner lariats him and hits mounted shots. Marty grabs Shawn's mirror. Marty goes to hit Shawn with it but Shawn pulls Sherri in front of him and Marty nails Sherri with the mirror. Sherri is knocked out and Marty's bothered. The stretcher is then brought out for Sherri. Perfect says Marty hit Sherri on purpose and Vince defends Marty.

Thoughts: Marty hadn't been around since getting thrown through The Barber Shop's window. I was wondering what happened to him. It was a good angle here and we'll have to see where this goes and how it affects Bret vs Shawn at Survivor Series. 

WWF Event Center

Sean hypes up the 11/7/1992 Lowell Memorial Auditorium and Boston Garden shows.

Crush does a promo on The Berzerker. He says Berz is next on his list. He says he's big and strong and is a dangerous opponent. He says it will be one of his biggest challenges yet and says, "shaka".

Papa Shango does a promo with a skull with a wig. Papa says British Bulldog is entering his world.
He says it's a dark world that will close on Bulldog. He says his power will overcome him and his voodoo will destroy him.

The British Bulldog does a promo. He says everyone wants a chance at his title. He says Papa Shango is next in line. He tells him to come cast a spell on him. He says it takes more than fire and spells to take the title from him. 

Vince tells us Marty Jannetty has regained consciousness. Vince and Perfect talk next week's show which has The Headshrinkers and Money Inc vs High Energy in a tag title match.

Jimmy Hart does a promo. He says he can't believe The Nasty's turned their backs on him after all he did. He says Jack Tunney has forced Money Inc to defend their titles next week. Hart says they don't have time to celebrate and this is not fair.

Overall thoughts: It was a must see episode and one of the better Superstars eps I've seen. Yokozuna debuted. Joe Beavens debuted. We got a glimpse of Doink the Clown. Marty Jannetty returned. We got a video on Bam Bam Bigelow, who is returning. And The Headshrinkers made their first appearance on the show. We also got a tag title change. I wish more Superstars episodes were like this.
