Yut tope con hilos Max outside. Fut springboard tornillo's Oku outside. Val poisonrana's Kato. Val code red's Kato and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was a solid opener. The faces flew, they kept things moving and they had some highlights without going too far. I really wish Futuro's team got some different gear though. It's absolutely impossible to tell these guys apart quick enough with all of CMLL's cuts and people coming in and out.

CMLL-Japan Women's Title Match - India Sioux (c) vs. Rina

Rina wristlocks her. India trips her then Rina armdrags her. India flips Rina over her back and arm throws her. India armdrags Rina. Rina rolls up India for 2. India shoulders Rina over. India basement dropkicks her. India corner lariats her then bronco busters her for 2.

Rina running back elbows India. Rina top rope double knee drops India for 2. India rolls her up for 2. Rina hits a gori special for 2. India superplexes Rina then la rosa drivers her for the pin.

Thoughts: It was alright. There wasn't anything great here, but it was competitive, they didn't botch anything and everything went well enough. I was fine with this.

El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Neon) & Templario vs. Unbound Co. (Robbie X, Taiji Ishimori & Titan)

Temp dropkicks Titan in the knee. X flips in and does a super stiff handspring kick on Temp, knocking him off the apron. Neon flying headscissors X. TI flying headscissors Neon. Neon corkscrew headscissors TI. Titan tornado ddt's Neon but Neon headflips out. They try to dropkick each other at the same time. They shoulder each other at the same time and get up. All 6 men fight.

Neon's team is dropkicked out. They take 2 baseball slides and a tope. X boots KeMalito outside. Titan tornado ddt's Neon. Neon takes a rolling death valley driver, a superkick and a running ssp from X for 2. Temp fights off a 1v3 then he is triple stomped on.

We get some quick action and Neon's team hits triple topes outside. X hits a tope rope spiral tap on MD inside. TI drops Neon chest first onto knees. X and TI take stereo belly to belly overhead suplexes into the buckles. The faces do a flying space tiger drop into the ring, a top rope 450 and a top rope moonsault en stereo for 2.

Titan and Neon trade chops. Titan spin kicks him in the gut. Neon powerslams Titan. X pele kicks Titan. Neon and TI get in. TI handspring corkscrew kicks him. Temp rope walk plancha's TI. Neon hits a GTS on TI then topes him outside. Titan tope con hilos outside.

MD springboard ssp's outside. X springboard corkscrew dives outside. Neon double jump blind moonsaults outside. MD top rope ssp's X and pins him.

Thoughts: It was very very hard to follow. Neon's team all wore similar outfits. This was all high flying at 100 MPH. You could watch this and not remember a single thing you just saw as it went by so far. They had some nice dives here and definitely gave full effort, but it was too rushed.

CMLL World Tag Team Title Match - Los Hermanos Chavez (Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja) (c) vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo & SANADA)

Oro springboard diving armdrags San. Oro and Roja hit stereo topes. Togo takes a double suplex then a double basement dropkick. San is kicked in the leg. Oro slingshot swantons San then San is double superkicked for 1.

Togo and San hit stereo cannonballs off the apron outside. Togo and Roja trade chest shots. Togo powerslams Roja. Togo boots Oro out of the corner. Oro la magistral's him. San shining wizards Oro for 2. Roja hits a jade end on San. Oro sunset flips Togo off of Roja's back for 2.

Oro and Roja hit stereo corner attacks. San magic screws Oro. Togo 2nd rope tornado ddt's Roja. Both get 2 counts. San does a dragon sleeper while Togo does a crossface. Togo takes a double superkick. Oro is popped up into a dropkick on San. Oro topes San outside. Roja catapults Togo onto his face and does a reverse rocking chair. Togo submits.

Thoughts: It was one of the more tolerable HoT matches as they didn't get to use weapons or do run-in's. They just worked a bit heelish and it worked better because of it. This wasn't bad.

El Phantasmo vs. Barbaro Cavernario

ELP side headlocks Barb. They shoulderblock battle. Barb shoulders ELP over. ELP springboard twisting crossbodies Barb then asai moonsaults him for 2. ELP bends over and is kicked. ELP boots Barb out of the corner and Barb does the worm.

Barb is put in tree of woe and stomped. ELP chops Barb. ELP walks up the buckles, rope walks then Barb trips him there. Barb topes ELP into the rails. Barb springboard diving cutters ELP and la rosa suplexes him. Barb hits ataxia on ELP.

Barb is up top and ELP enzugiri's him. ELP kicks him from the top rope. ELP top rope moonsaults him outside. They fight on the apron and Barb ddt's him there. Barb top rope splashes him on the floor outside.

ELP enzugiri's Barb in the corner then tornado ddt's him. ELP superkicks him for 2. ELP hits a cut throat burning hammer for 2. ELP springboard swantons Barb. Barb cradles him for 2. ELP pushed Barb into the ref and punches him in the crotch. ELP hits a gordbuster and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a longer bout and the two really packed it with a lot of action. It worked a little better than expected. There wasn't any great logic to it and ELP wasn't very effective as a heel. It was alright though.

Hechicero & Konosuke Takeshita vs. Los Guerreros Laguneros (Gran Guerrero & Ultimo Guerrero)

All 4 fight in the ring. Hech whips Gran with clothing then stomps on UG. Gran takes shots in the corner. Hech hits mounted corner punches on Gran. UG is double teamed in the corner. KT basement dropkicks UG. UG is double flapjacked and takes a kick + basement dropkick.

Hech hits shots on UG in the corner and flurries him. The ref breaks it up. KT suplexes Hech while tying up UG's legs. UG and Gran hit stereo baseball slides on their opponents off the apron. Gran is monkey flipped over the top rope onto his opponents. UG then top rope plancha's his opponents outside.

KT takes a 2nd rope double gorilla press slam for 2. Hech is chopped in the corner. Hech is double superkicked. KT facekicks Hech on accident. UG 2nd rope gordbusters KT. KT hits forearms. KT la magistral's him for 2. KT knees UG in the face.

Hech flapjacks Gran. Hech headscissor rolls Gran for 2. Hech hits corner lariats on Gran. Gran 2nd rope cradle shocks Hech for 2. Hech and KT trade forearms. KT blue thunders him for 2.

Hech step up knees UG. KT pushes Hech out of the way and falcon arrows UG for the win.

Thoughts:
The ending was interesting with KT stealing the pin from Hech. The booking of this was weird. KT and Hech were heel partners a month ago or so when KT was in The Don Callis Family. KT left and is a face now. KT worked heel here though and not face. If AEW wasn't aligned with CMLL, I'd ignore it, but this is basically canon, so I can't. It was a tornado tag for the most part with all 4 guys doing whatever they wanted. They all hit their signature moves and I'd say it was average.

KT and Hech argue after. KT offers a handshake and Hech dropkicks him. Hech then stomps on him.

Tiger Mask is given a title belt before his match.

Averno, Black Tiger & Volador Jr. vs. Blue Panther, Mistico & Tiger Mask

Mist has a Tiger Mask themed mask on. The heels attack the faces to start with all 6 men in the ring. TM is held for a superkick from Vol. Mist is popped up into a kick. Mist's crotch is rammed into the post.

TM is group stomped on the ramp. TM is thrown into the rails. Mist flying headscissors Av then Mist is group stomped. Mist has his masked ripped up. Mist is triple booted out. Blue is triple teamed. TM is then triple teamed. The heels pose on Blue and Mist springboard diving headscissors BT.

Mist hits a springboard double back elbow. Mist flying headscissors Av out. Mist plancha's off the top to the outside. BP lariats Av and Vol down. Blue flying headscissors Vol. Blue 2nd rope diving headscissors Av. BT spin kicks Tiger in the gut and goes for the mask. TM then goes for BT's mask and rips it up. Mist double facebusters the heels.

Mist flying headscissors Vol. Mist is double hiptossed into the ropes. Mist 619's Av then springboard diving headscissors BT. Mist springboard diving headscissors Av. Mist walks up the ropes and springboard diving corkscrew armdrags Av. Mist spinning headscissors Av.

Blue dives on Vol off the ramp. Mist springboard crossbodies BT. TM spin kicks BT in the gut. Mist la mistica's Av while TM tiger drivers BT. The ref counts TM's pin while not even looking at TM.

Thoughts: It was a shorter one. It was fine enough for the main but nothing too memorable. Tiger Mask's team won and that was really the only outcome that could happen here. The heels controlled the early part of this then the face took over and won.

The whole roster comes out and celebrates Tiger after. Confetti, streamers and smoke shoot out.

The announcer then closes the show.

Overall thoughts: I'm not a big fan of interpromotional shows. The matches are random so it's hard to get too invested into anything. It gets a little harder with CMLL as they have their own style and it's a hard style to mesh with. I liked the opener and India/Rina beat expectations. Sky Team's match was rushed and beyond packed with action. House of Torture's match wasn't bad at all. Barb/ELP was okay. I didn't like the semi-main that much and the main was fine. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as they tried to put on a special show here and the action was acceptable.

AAA on Fox 6/20/2026

AAA on Fox 6/20/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/aaa-on-fox-6132026.html

We are in Merida, Mexico. JBL, Corey Graves and Rey Mysterio are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive. El Grande Americano arrives with a duck.

Mini Vikingo vs El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs El Hijo del Vikingo vs Omos

Doc boots over Hijo Vik then boots and flurries him in the corner. Doc splashes him and dropkicks him in the back of the neck for 2. Hijo Vik enzugiri's him from the apron and sunset flips him for 2. Hijo Vik hooks his arm and clubs him. Doc pop-up powerslams him.

Mini and Hijo Vik go at it. Mini springboard tornillo's him. Hijo Vik pele kicks him. Omos chokes Mini on the ropes. Omos throws Mini. Omos hits elbow drops on Mini. Mini 2nd rope hurricanrana's Hijo Vik. Doc tags in. He hits lariats on Hijo Vik then flying lariats him.

Doc step up knees Hijo Vik in the corner then death valley drivers him for 2. Hijo Vik corner meteora's Doc. Omos bangs Doc's head off the steps. Mini springboard tornillo crucifix drivers Hijo Vik and pins him out of nowhere to win.

Thoughts: Mini winning was a surprise. It didn't really get enough time to play out and the four-way concept made it hard to get momentum going. I would have liked Hijo Vikingo to be rougher on Mini. This was just average.

Omos and Hijo Vikingo beat up Mini after. Doc tries to help out and is thrown out. Doc is sent into the post then lariats by Omos outside. Omos goes to use the steps on him. Galeno comes out and hits shots on Omos. Hijo Vikingo tries to plancha Galeno but is caught and slammed. Omos hits Galeno with the steps.

Dominik Mysterio does a promo and recaps some recent events. He says one thing stays the same in AAA and he's still AAA Mega champ. He says he's  the only one heading to Triple Mania as the main event and is still the king of the luchadores.

Psycho Clown talks in the back and I think he says he will put Psycho Circus back together.

We see a video on Laredo Kid and Rey Fenix.

AAA Cruiserweight Title - Rey Fenix (c) vs Laredo Kid vs Lince Dorado

Kid flying headscissors Rey into LD. Kid flying headscissors Rey. Kid michinoku drivers Rey for 2. Kid hits open hand shots on LD. LD is monkey flipped into a headscissors on Kid. LD dropkicks Rey out.

LD tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Kid and lariats him. LD rolls up Rey then Rey handspring back elbows him. Rey buckingham drops Kid for 2. Kid back body drops LD on the floor. Kid top rope moonsaults LD and Rey outside.

Kid northern lights suplexes LD for 2. LD rolls up Kid for 2. Kid slaps LD. Kid 2nd rope corkscrew sentons LD for 2. LD lariats Kid then spinning heel kicks him. LD backcrackers Kid. LD hits moonsaults on Kid. LD top rope moonsaults and Kid gets his feet up. Rey springboard diving armdrags LD and double stomps him.

Kid chops Rey. Rey ropewalk kicks Kid. Rey double jump plancha's LD outside. Rey death valley drivers Kid for 2. Rey and LD trade chops. LD hits a handspring double cutter on his opponents. He gets a 2 count on Rey. Kid takes a double superkick. Rey and LD high kick each other at the same time and Kid hits a double canadian destroyer ddt on them for 2 counts.

Rey is up top and LD jumps off Kid's back to dropkick him. LD tope con hilos through the ropes onto Kid. LD top rope hurricanrana's Rey. LD is pushed off the top. Kid top rope splashes Rey but Rey gets his knees up. Rey springboard spin kicks Kid in the face then mexican muscle bsuers him for the win.

Thoughts:
It was all flying as expected here. They also overdid it as expected with people kicking out of canadian destroyer ddt's. It they shaved a few minutes off of this, I would have put it over.

Rey Mysterio is asked about Rey Fenix. Rey says Fenix wants to defend his title and Rey says they are trying to have him defend his title on the main WWE brands and NXT. Rey says Lola Vice will defend her NXT Women's Title vs La Hiedra in AAA. Rey says they are also close to bringing a former WWE champ to AAA who has not wrestled here before. He promises more information next week.

El Grande Americano comes out and gets a big entrance with a Mexican band. Grande hugs kids and fans. Grande says they did it together at Noche de los Grandes. He says they took down the other Grande kept the pride of Mexico. He says he didn't do alone and had help from his friends and people. He talks about the blind comedian helping him and Pimpi helping him. He then puts over Andrea for being on his side and says he loves her. He says this victory is for all of the fans.

Grande says he won Rey de Reyes and mask of Grande Americano Original and now he wants the AAA Mega Title.

Karmen Petrovic of NXT/Evolve comes out. She gets no reaction as expected, just confusion. Daga, Los Garza and Bronco Nima then surround Grande in black hoodies. Nima lariats Grande. Grande takes a group beating. Nima puts Grande on his shoulder and twisting drops him down. Nima's crew then show off Perros del Mal shirts. Karmen corkscrew kicks Grande in the head. The heels pose to close the show.

Thoughts: So for those who don't know, Perros del Mal were a big lucha heel/tweener faction in the early 2010's in Mexico. They started in CMLL, moved to AAA and later had their own promotion. They were big for a while but cooled off some overtime. When the leader of it, Perro Aguayo Jr. died, the group gradually ended because Perro really was the true face of it. Bringing them back is kind of comparable to like bringing D-Generation-X or the NWO back. It's a group everyone would know and a name that has some value. The only original member involved is Daga (who isn't new to AAA) and it's just them basically making a new version of a hit movie. This group is random and we will have to see how it plays out, but they could have done this better especially since some of the original members are still around. I wonder what this holds for OTM as Nima is here without his partner Lucian Price.

Overall thoughts: The opener needed more time and was just average. The 3-way was the high flying bout you would expect but they went too far with it and it got boring towards the end. El Grande Americano then talked to the crowd before he got jumped by the new Perros del Mal group. We'll see how it goes, but I'm not high on it so far. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 and would say it was average. The stuff going on outside of the ring was more notable than the stuff going in inside of it. I just didn't care all that much for the 2 matches we got and that hurt my rating.

AEW Collision 6/20/2026

AEW Collision 6/20/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/aew-collision-6132026-summer-blockbuster.html

We are in Sugar Land, TX. Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone are on commentary.

The Elite (Jack Perry, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

BC gives the finger to one of the Bucks on a handshake attempt and hits some shots on him. A Buck is popped up into a dropkick on BC. Lee takes a flipping neckbreaker + backbreaker combo. Jack flying headscissors Jay then lariats him over the top and goes with him.

Jay backbreakers JP into a flatliner. The Bucks do a sunset german on Jay. Lee and BC hit stereo cutters. Jay hits a double lethal injection. Lee superkicks JP. JP takes a top rope double stomp > death valley driver > top rope elbow drop for 2.

Jay lariats BC on accident. JP is back body dropped to the ramp. Jay is double superkicked. A Buck takes a pumping knee to the apron. JP is launched into a knee over the top onto Jay. JP hits a double poisonrana. JP top rope moonsaults outside. Lee take a meltzer driver and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was the usual Bucks match with them doing every move they known and none of them meaning anything. This time, they had opponents who do the exact same thing. It was all flying and cool moves and spots. It got boring by the end of it and I didn't like it.

Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander and Harley are interviewed. Mina says she always respected Kris and says she told her so about Shida. Mina says she never won a title in AEW and is ready to fight. Kris says she is ready to fight too. Kris says Mina needs this but she was made for it. Harley says may the best woman win and says next week is her qualifying match. Halrey them asks them to shake and she shakes her chest.

Hikaru Shida is interviewed after the break. Shida says she's in SOTF. She says no matter who qualifies, the only one who will survive is her. She says TBS will stand for "The Best is Shida" after SOTF.

Mina la mistica drop's Kris. Mina goes for a pin and Kris reverses it to win.

Thoughts: It was fine and it went well. There wasn't any great story to it but no one botched anything and they did okay together.

They shake hands after.

The Bang Bang Gang do a fake commercial for "Juice Robinson's Spay and Neuter Center". Juice dresses up like a doctor and they have a man in a cone. They say The Dogs' appointments are booked and they are getting snipped.

Jack Perry does a promo. He talks about going to Japan. He says Zack Sabre Jr. went out of his way to make him feel welcome. He says he had his first alcoholic drinks there. He says he wants to test himself vs Zack and wrestle him on Dynamite. Jack says they can get another round at the bar after and says the winner should always pay.

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) vs Warren Johnson & Zack Mason

So, War and Zack were Fly-Def in Reality of Wrestling and other promotion. They just split up and War's new name is Nasir Dey, but they are just calling him by his old name here.

Bob and Zack go at it. Bob offer a handshake and Zack slams him. War blind tags in and double axe handles Bob. Bob no sells it. Bob is double clubbed on. Bob hits a big flatliner on Zack. War is sent into the apron edge and rail by SB. SB release germans War.

SB step up knees War in the corner then superkicks Zack. Bob spears War. SB pins War.

Thoughts
: It was a shorter squash here. Fly Def didn't get it too bad at least but it wasn't too much of note.

MVP talks on the mic after. He says what we saw was a commercial for their skills. MVP says they are merchants of misery and purveyors of pain. MVP says they are not interested in competing for titles, they just want money. MVP says they are in the business of hurt. MVP says to come see them with a cash and says you bring the money and they will bring the pain.

Skyflight does a promo. Daniels says Dante Martin is facing Mistico tonight. Dante says he's ready. He says one of his partners in Matt Sydal is coming back from injury. Matt comes in. Daniels says they missed him and says they have his back with whatever path he chooses. Matt says he knows he will take this to higher heights than have ever been seen before.

Nigel McGuinness talks to Chris Jericho and Tomasso Ciampa in the ring. CJ says he thinks Ciampa is worthy. He says he's a good wrestler and knows how smart he is. CJ says every version of Jericho will kick his @ss.

Ciampa says this is the Jericho he wanted from the beginning. He tells him to invite his family. CJ agrees to fight him in Clearwater. He says they wrestle there but they fight to tonight. CJ hits him and goes for the crab. Ciampa tries to escape and low blows him. CJ's head is banged off the steps. Ciampa bites him and CJ is busted open. Ciampa tells him he bit off more than he can chew. Ciampa pumping knees him. Ciampa tells him he will find out what he has always known.

PAC says he hopes Shota Umino got the message Gabe Kidd sent him (he piledrove him). He says Shota should come to Forbidden Door and brings his IWGP Global Title with him. We then see clips of Shota accepting, which were before this happened.

Mistico vs. Dante Martin

This will be Mist's 2nd US match on TV today as he just wrestled on MLW Fusion a few hours ago.

They shake hands. Dante side headlocks him and Mist reverses it. Mist is caught with an armlock. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies Dante and back elbows him. Dante flips over Mist and Mist goes out. Dante topes him twice. Mist then topes Dante outside. Mist is up top and Dante superplexes him down.

Mist flying headscissors him. Mist slingshot tornillo's him outside. They trade forearms inside. Mist hits kicks on Dante. Dante corner lariats him then Mist corner lariats him. They flying kick each other at the same time.

Mist misses a springboard swanton. Dante package sitout powerbombs him for 2. Mist top rope spanish flies him and pins him.

Thoughts: I was fine with this. We got some highlights and they didn't overdo it.

The Demand do a promo. Ricochet says Takeshita is afraid of him. He says he knows if they met now, he'd take his title. Ric tells him to defend his title against him. Ric then says Matt Sydal is back and that's an obscure reference. He says Matt doesn't wrestle anymore and probably forgot how to. He says he will help him out and give him air time when he remembers.

The Dogs do a promo. Finlay says Cope and Cage decided to come back to work. He asks who they think they are to compare themselves to them. DF says he doesn't care about their 30 years in the business and asks what they can teach him. Clark tells them to bring their whole bags of tricks. Clark says they are young, dumb and full of some. DF says they will teach them the cold, hard, truth. DF says they took what they wanted and they want their AEW Tag Titles. Clark says they will put them down at Forbidden Door.

PAC vs. Jay Alexander

Jay is another Reality of Wrestling guy.

They lock up and Jay is backed up in the corner. Pac side headlocks him and they collide with shoulders. Pac back elbows him then lariats him. Shafir hits Jay outside. Pac spin kicks Jay then flying kicks him in the side of the head.

Pac pump kicks Jay in the corner. Pac top rope dropkicks him. Pac running lariats him then submits him with the brutalizer.

Thoughts
: Eh. The announcers put over Jay but Jay isn't a guy who should really be getting squashed. But this is AEW and it's Where The Big Boys Lay.

Thunder Rosa does a promo. She says she's been in CMLL but has been following along. She challenges Divine Dominion to a tag title match.

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Adam Priest

They grapple and AP backs him up on the ropes. Zack wristlocks him and takes him down. Zack boots the arm away with his feet. Zack piefaces AP and AP chops him. AP euros him and suplexes him for 2.

Zack pele kicks the arm then stomps it. Zack hanging triangles him over the top rope. We go to PiP break, full break and return. AP running lariats Zack. They trade shots and AP ddt's him for 2. AP bangs Zack's knee off the mat.

Zack twists AP's arm with his feet. Zack euros AP's arm and AP chops him in the leg. Zack PK's him. AP shoulders him in the leg. Zack pulls back on both arms and AP taps out.

Thoughts:
It was a random one. Zack worked the arm a bit and won with a submission on it which was fine. I thought the match was average though and needed some more excitement.

Divine Dominion does a promo. Meg asks if Thunder Rosa forgot what she put her through when she came to AEW. She asks what makes her think she won't make it worse. Lena says her heaven is Rosa's hell. Meg tells her to find a partner and says she will regret even thinking of this. She tells her to step up as she will bow down.

Chris Jericho does a promo. CJ says he needed this and thanks Ciampa. He says he won't thank him for what happens now.

Owen Hart Foundation 2026 Women's Tournament Semi Final Match - Athena vs. Maya World

We just saw this on ROH not too long ago.

They lock up and Maya is backed up in the corner. Ath puts her down and pats her on the head. Ath spinning bodyscissors her then Maya shoulders her over. Ath cartwheels out of a flying headscissors. Maya rolls her into a pin attempt for 2. Ath then tries a pin on her.

They try to dropkick each other at the same time and headflip up together. Ath superkicks her. Maya throws Ath face first into the buckles then 619's her. Maya basement dropkicks her. Maya tries to cannonball her off the apron but is caught and hit with ataxia on the floor.

We go to PiP break and return. Ath superplexes her. Maya running euros her for 2. Maya flying headscissors her and rolls her into double stomp. Maya 2nd rope moonsaults her for 2.

Ath rolls her up for 2. Ath sitout powerbombs her for 2. Maya cutters her for 2. Ath cubrstomps her for 2. Maya fallaway slams her with a bridge for 2. Ath superkicks Maya outside and Ath is thrown into the rails. They fight on the rails. Ath uranage's her there. Ath piefaces her and tells her to get up. Ath brings up Maya's brother. Maya hits forearms and flurries on her. Ath headflips into a forearm on her in the corner. Ath hits a top rope diving o-face on her for 2.

Ath superkicks her twice. Maya rolls her up and pins her.

Thoughts: Big upset here with Maya beating Athena. It's weird. Ath never loses in ROH but loses often here. This guarantees Mone wins the Owen Hart Tournament. The match was decent with Maya being the underdog and getting some shine before picking up the big win.

Mercedes Mone comes out. She claps for Maya. Mone hugs her. Ath then ends up hitting Maya and Mone joins in to stomp Maya. Maya is then put in a crossface by Mone.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual Collision with lots of random matches and limited starpower. I didn't like the opener. Kris/Mina went well. The Hurt Syndicate won a squash. Mistico/Dante was an okay flying match. Pac won a squash. Zack/Priest was average and the main was a bit fun with Maya World pulling off a big upset. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was average.

MLW Fusion 6/20/2026 Episode 200

MLW Fusion 6/20/2026 Episode 200

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/mlw-fusion-6132026.html

Note - They are airing 2 episodes back to back here but are counting it as one.

We are in Chicago, IL. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawler are on commentary.

Neon vs Soberano Jr.

Sob avoids a handshake. Neon armdrags him and spinning reverse headscissors him. They stand off. Neon double jump diving armdrags Sob. Neon topes him outside. Neon goes for another and is kicked. Sob sends Neon into the rails.

A female in the crowd kisses Sob. Sob stands on Neon on the 2nd rope. Sob superkicks Neon. Sob kicks Neon in the leg. Neon reverse monkey flips Sob then dropkicks him out. Neon tope con hilos him outside.

Neon springboard crossbodies Sob. Neon is popped up and dropkicks Sob. Neon springboards and Sob dropkicks him for 2. Sob enzugiri's Neon in the corner. Neon superkicks Sob then hits a code red for 2.

They get on the 2nd rope. Neon double jump hurricanrana's him for 2. Neon hits forearms and Sob powerslams him for 2. Sob suplexes him. Sob is laid on the top rope and Neon springboard double stomps him for 2.

Neon springboards and Sob gets his knees up. Neon standing spanish flies him for 2. Sob top rope tornillo's Neon but Neon rolls through and gets a 2 count on him. Neon rolls him up for 2. Sob pops up Neon and kicks him in the crotch. Sob fire thunder drivers him and pins him.

Thoughts: The selling was a bit iffy here but it didn't go super long, so they couldn't get too crazy with it. It was alright enough as they flew and Sob took a big 2nd rope hurricanrana.

Blue Panther vs Austin Aries is set for next week.

Okumura vs Victor Iniestra

Oku lariats him then michinoku drivers him for 2. Oku back elbows him. Oku flying lariats him for 2. Oku bridging cutters him. Oku then submits him with a camel clutch.

Thoughts: It was all squash here. I would have rather seen them go for a bit instead of making it quick.

Matt Riddle grabs Killer Kross from behind in the back. He says Kross is keeping the belt warm for him. Matt says he would have the title if it's not for Hammerstone. He says he will beat and break that piece of trash so he doesn't step in his way again.

Kross says Hammer isn't coming in to beat Matt but to hurt him. Kross says Hammer is stronger than both of them. Matt agrees but says he's 10x the champ and fighter and says he will beat the tar out of him. He says when he's done with him, he's coming for Kross' title and there's nothing he can do about it. Kross says he's gonna hit Matt and Scarlett says not now. Kross says he hopes nothing bad happens to Matt and Matt says the same to him.

Scarlett Bordeaux vs Blair Onyx

They lock up. BO wristlocks her and SB reverses it. SB licks BO's hand and BO does a cool escape out. BO then pulls SB down. BO boots SB in the corner. SB running back elbows BO. SB crucifixes her. SB kicks her right in the crotch.

SB corner splashes her. SB corner hip attacks her and stinkfaces her. BO bites SB's butt. BO is kicked but she bridges to keep herself up. BO hits forearms and SB ddt's her. SB hits a b-driver and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and fun. Onyx is unique and has a decent look. She got over some here and should be brought back. SC did her thing and was fine.

They announce that NJPW and MLW are working together on something "Fantastica".

Shotzi Blackheart does a video in the forest. She says she has hunted down all kinds of demons and skinwalkers. She says she's hunting down Mads Krugger. She goes looking for him. Shotzi says she figured out CONTRA and knows where they dispose of their victims. She fins a CONTRA flag in the woods. Shotzi finds a bodybag with Mads Krugger in it. She says he's dead and he's no good to her. She says it's time to wake up a monster and uses jumper cables to wake him up. Smoke comes out of Mads' head and she says it's alive. Mads then sits up.

Thoughts: Yeah, this is what it is and there's no real explaining it.

Hammerstone vs Ultimo Guerrero

Hammer shoves him down off the lock up twice. Hammer unties and takes off UG's mask (he lost his mask so he rarely wears it anyway). Hammer shoulders UG over.

Hammer chops UG in the corner. UG blocks a chop then hits his own chops. UG running lariats him. UG sweeps Hammer on the apron then baseball slides him down to the floor. UG top rope plancha's Hammer.

Hammer sends UG into the post then apron powerbombs him. Hammer pump kicks UG off the apron and double axe handles him from the apron. UG is sent into a table and it collapses.

We go to break and return. Hammer chokeslams UG for 2. Hammer running corner lariats UG. UG 2nd rope gordbusters him for 2. Hammer low blows UG then hits a nightmare pendulum. Hammer pins UG.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special. UG wasn't going be thrown around and UG could only do so much with the bigger Hammer. It also had our 2nd low blow finish here which sucked.

Rich Bocchini interviews Matt Riddle. Matt says he wants another shot to get his title. He says he'd be champ if it wasn't for Hammer. Hammer hits him, they fight and security tries to break it up.

This ends the first episode.

We get a video on Mads Krugger to start the second episode

They re-introduce the hosts and play the intro video again. The hosts talk and run down the card.

Austin Aries says he will humanely put down Blue Panther. He says if Diego Hill pays attention, he will teach him what it takes to be a champ. He says he will become the National champ. He says as soon as he becomes champ, it'll become the greatest title in wrestling. He says the man makes the title and there's no greater wrestler than him.

MLW National Title - Blue Panther (c) vs Austin Aries

BP has his mask on. AA hammerlocks him. BP trips him, ties up his legs and tells him to get up. AA waistlock takedowns him and rides his back. AA struts on the apron. BP takes him down by the wrist and wristlocks him. AA side headlocks him.

AA ear claps him and side headlock takeovers him. BP headscissors him, AA escapes and low dropkicks him. We go to break and return. AA chops him in the corner. BP 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. BP chops him and lariats him down several times. BP shoulders him out of the ring.

BP cannonballs him off the apron. AA runs into BP's buddy Diego Hill outside. Those two argue. BP cannonballs Hill from the apron when AA moves. AA topes BP. AA neckbreakers BP over the 2nd rope.

AA corner dropkicks BP. AA then birdges with a head and arm choke. BP is out and AA wins.

Thoughts: It was a shorter battle. It wasn't anything too special mostly due to the time as it's not like the work was bad. AA kind of beat BP easy here.

AA beats up BP more after and goes for the mask. Diego Hill stops AA.

Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer crash Shotzi's locker room. They say they deserve their own locker room. Shotzi comes in and asks what they are doing here. Dijak says they are taking this. Shotzi says to fight her for it. Dyer grabs Shotzi's helmet and spits in it. Shotzi threatens them as security breaks it up.

Zamaya vs Lilli Ruiz

LR has been in TNA and maybe WOW.

Zam running lariats her from behind, hair throws her and spears her. Zam clubs on her. LR slaps her and Zam double throat thrusts her. Zam lariats her down. Zam double arm chokeslams her and pins her.

Thoughts:
It was all squash as expected and not much more.

Shotzi goes up to Mads Krugger in the back. She says she wants Mads to rip up Dijak and Dyer. Shotzi says let's make a match and Mads agrees.

Dyer and Dijak do a promo on The Good Brothers. Dijak says they are bigger, badder and done with their stupid friend. Dijak says they will do everything to make their lives a living hell.

There will be more news on the MLW Southern Crown Title next week.

Mistico vs Templario

Temp offers a handshake and Mist accepts. Temp waistlock takeodwns him off of it. They armdrag each other. Mist spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. Temp shoulders him over. Mist sweeps him and they stand off.

Mist shoulders Temp over. Mist flying headscissors him. Temp flips over his back and flying headscissors him. Temp topes him outside. Temp corner lariats Mist twice then basement dropkicks him for 2.

Temp hits forearms on Mist. Mist flying headscissors Temp then Temp superkicks him down. Temp stomps Mist and splashes his leg. Temp facekicks Mist then he splashes his leg. Temp kicks Mist in the leg.

Temp pulls Mist's leg around the bottom rope. Temp hits forearms on Mist outside. Mist is dropped face first on the apron. Temp tries to unmask Mist up top. Mist then gets booted while in tree of woe. Temp kicks Mist in the leg.

Mist forearms Temp. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies Temp and spinning headscissors him. Mist 619's him. Mist springboard diving headscissors him. Mist topes Temp outside. We go to break and return. Mist gets a 2 count on Temp. Mist hurricanrna's him for 2. Temp counters Mist's headscissors by dropping him face first on the mat. Temp rope walk dropkicks Mist for 2.

Mist chops Temp in the corner. Mist enzugiri's Temp in the corner. Mist boots Temp out of the corner and code red's him for 2. Mist is tripped into the ropes and Temp wheelbarrow germans him for 2.

Temp goes for a suplex and Mist cradles him for 2. Temp and Mist trade forearms and chops. They superkick each other. Temp hits a big GTS. Temp handspring moonsaults Mist in the ring for 2. Mist top rope spanish flies Temp.

Mist chops Temp and springboard diving corkscrew armdrags him. Mist slingshot tornillo's him. Mist topes him outside. Temp catches Mist's springboard then he does a GTS with a kick for 2.

Mist powerslams him then Temp powerslams him. Mist top rope moonsaults and Temp gets his feet up on it for 2. Mist canadian destroyers him. Mist misses a top rope moonsault. Temp la magistral's him for 2. Mist springboard crossbodies him then la mistica's him. Mist submits him.

Thoughts: It went long and got a little tiring by the end, but it was a decent effort otherwise. They sold the big moves, they flew and did enough for me when they could have gone easy. Mist won as expected.

Don Gato comes in and gives Mist tequila after. Mist says "cheers".

We are told that Court Bauer is handling day to day operations due to the disappearance of Cesar Duran. We are told Killer Kross wants to take the MLW Title worldwide and he's being discussed for matches in India, Romania and Australia.

We get a video on Hammerstone.

MLW Blood and Thunder is 8 weeks away.

Bishop Dyer vs Mads Krule Krugger

Shotzi is with Mads. We go to break and return when they are about go at it. Mads lariats BD then uppercuts him. BD lariats Mads over the top, Mads lands on his feet and hits BD outside. Mads is sent into the rails.

BD yells at Shotzi. Mads sends BD into the rails. Mads' head is banged off the steps. BD death valley drivers him then elbows him in the neck.

BD boots him in the gut then corner lariats him. BD piefaces Shotzi and Shotzi yells at him. Mads corner lariats BD then corner splashes him. BD facekicks him. BD hits back elbows on Mads and sends him shoulder first into the post. BD grabs a title belt and Shotzi gives Mads a spike. Mads ddt's BD on the title and pins him.

Thoughts: It didn't get much time and that limited the quality of it. Mads could have been a little tighter on his shots as they didn't really look like they connected. This was just average.

Dijak comes out and pounds on Mads after. Shotzi gets in and shoves the heels. The heels ziptie Mads to the ropes and BD pushes Shotzi down. Shotzi slaps the heels. Mads breaks the zipties as the heels go for a double chokeslam on Shotzi. The Good Brothers then come down and fight Dyer and Dijak. The heels are sent out.

The faces drink Don Gato tequila after. CONTRA interrupts the feed and says, "Hail Contra".

Overall thoughts: We had a double episode which was disguised as one episode here. Neon/Soberano Jr. was fine. I liked Scarlett/Onyx and would be up for seeing Onyx again. Hammerstone/Ultimo Guerrero wasn't that good. Blue/Aries didn't get enough time. Mist/Temp got a lot of time and was an okay match. The main of Dyer/Mads wasn't that great. Shotzi also revived a dead Mads Krugger and we had some squashes. The show was fine as a whole but nothing too must see. I do think they need to get the lucha guys involved in more storylines and have them do more promos, because without it, they are a lot less effective. They also do need to find more American up and comers as there's only so many big indy names to go around.  I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 overall as there was enough decent stuff with the two shows combined. Had the shows been split, both probably would have been average. The show was okay overall.

NWA Powerrr 6/20/2026

NWA Powerrr 6/20/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/nwa-powerrr-6132026.html

Joe Galli, Danny Dealz and Tim Storm are on commentary. They run down tonight's show.

Kyle Davis interviews Silas Mason in the ring. Kyle asks about The Southern Six. Silas says they were supposed to be like iron and diamonds, unable to be tarnished by time. He says all things move towards their end and his patience with Kerry Morton is up. He says Kerry was looking out for him by screwing him out of the title and asks how that works. Silas asks who wants to see him whoop Kerry's @ss? Silas says he will slay Dragon Nihan tonight and put a boot up Kerry's backside.

It's Me...The Carson Drake Experience

The Slimeballz are this week's guest. They get Drake upset and Drake says they tried to set up their own podcast in his room last week. The Slimez try to explain themselves. Drake says this is his podcast and they tried to make it their own thing. Drake says they wouldn't have the title if it wasn't for him and Aron Stevens. Drake says The Slimeballz will not be on next week's Experience show or ever again.

Kerry Morton vs Vin Parker

I've seen Vin once on Reality of Wrestling. He's a decent looking guy and is in good shape.

KM waistlocks him and Vin reverses it. They mat wrestle and Vin wristlocks him. KM trips him and twists his foot. Vin side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Vin armdrags him into an armlock.

KM slaps him and Vin step up enzugiri's him. KM pulls Vin's arm down over the top rope. KM stomps the arm and pulls on it. KM knee drops the arm for 2. KM knees him in the back. KM slingshot suplexes him. Vin rolls him up for 2.

KM powerslams him for 2. KM chops him in the corner. KM misses a corner charge and Vin headhunters him while he's seated. Vin holds on for a falcon arrow. KM pumping knees Vin and pins him.

Thoughts: Kerry mostly worked the arm here then won with a pumping knee. It was average to acceptable. I'm not saying Vin is the next big thing, but he's young, he looks decent and he can have a perfectly acceptable and safe match. I think he's going to be making his way around various promotions and will likely get signed somewhere.

We see clips from the NWA Training Seminar. Tiffany Nieves says they need a good opponent for Gretta and Ms. Starr says she will scout the world for suitable competition.

Brandon McCord's crew talks. Brandon says they all had difficulties and says Bonez showed that resiliency is the currency that will build an empire. He says Alex Misery is the first NWA Television champ from Puerto Rico. He says he believes in them and says each day can be better than the previous one. He says they can win gold if they just believe.

NWA Women's Television Title - Tiffany Nieves (c) vs Gina Sais Quoi

Gina does a voodoo gimmick, has tattoos and wears white skull facepaint. We'll see how she is in the ring, but she has good look.

Gina crawls up to Tiff and Tiff slaps her. Tiff boots her in the gut and misses a corner charge. Gina slaps her with her hair and boots her. Tiff spinning side slams her. Tiff armlocks her and does another spinning side slam.

Tiff does a texas cloverleaf and submits Gina.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. Gina didn't get a lot in but didn't botch anything either. There's not a whole lot to say about this.

Aron Stevens talks to Slade in the back. Wrecking Ball Legursky comes in and asks if Aron has a minute. Aron's brush is knocked over and he says he doesn't have.

Slade's Submission Challenge Qualifier - Terry Yaki vs Hayden Backlund vs Jay Lucas

The winner moves on to a submission match with Slade.

HB takes a double basement dropkick. Terry hits Jay in the gut then backrolls into a headscissors on him. Jay dropkicks him then HB superkicks Jay. HB stomps on Terry and suplexes him. HB elbow drops Terry for 2.

HB suplexes Terry and clubs his back. Jay top rope crossbodies HB then drops him with shots. Jay slingblades HB. HB cutters Jay for 2 after an eye poke. Terry top rope dropkicks HB.

Jay is pulled over the top. Terry asai moonsaults both opponents outside. Terry hits something like a cradle shock on HB and pins him.

Thoughts
: I was surprised to see Terry win here since HB is the only one signed. What we got was fine but it wasn't long and we didn't get to see too much. HB got double teamed here as Jay and Terry are partners.

Kyle Davis asks Terry how he feels. He says he feels great and says he feels like the future of this business. Kyle says we will find out after this break.

NWA Jr. Heavyweight Title - Submission Challenge - SLADE (c) vs Terry Yaki

Terry rolls him up for 2. Terry rolls him up for 2 then cradles him for 2. Terry's os cutter is blocked and he takes a dragon suplex. Slade stomps Terry's face. Slade release germans him for 2. Slade lion tamer's him. Terry boots him away. Slade germans him on his head and feet.

Terry springboard dropkicks Slade. Slade hits a hard lariat then an air raid crash. Aron Steven's says it's time. Slade ankle locks Terry and submits him.

Thoughts: Terry was the underdog here. He got some offense in before being put down. Terry took a hard lariat and it looked like he bounced off his head on a german. They did what they were supposed to but it was short and basically a squash. The question here of course is if Terry will be used again or not.

Kyle Davis interviews Slade and Aron Stevens. Aron says we are looking at the present and future of wrestling. Aron says he only deals with champs and says Slade is a champ. Wrecking Ball Legursky comes out.

Ball says the people don't like Aron. Ball says the people love The Wrecking Ball. Ball says he loves the people. Ball says he has an idea. He says the Federation of Champions needs a little USA. Ball offers a handshake and seems to want to join. Aron says "no" and leaves.

We go to the NWA Training Seminar. The Cazana's and Drake talk. Joe tells everyone to suck up to him. Joe says he's been here for 3 years and Corgan has done nothing but stab him in the back the whole time. Joe says he is the NWA and has been in it since he was born. He says Corgan comes in and thinks he's the god of everything. Billy Corgan walks in.

Joe says Corgan thinks he can do no wrong. Joe says he respects him more and more every time he is around him once he spots him. He says Corgan is a saint and a pillar of the Chicago community. Corgan offers a handshake and pulls away. Joe says that's what he's talking about with Corgan.

We see clips of Carnage beating Mims 2 weeks ago.

We see Pope talk to Mims with 2 guys in masks behind him. Pope says Mims should have won but he didn't listen to him. Pope says he won't lead him wrong and says he sees things even clearer than before since walking with the light. Mims says he trusts him and got him a gift as a peace offering. It looks like a bracelet.

NWA World Title - Silas Mason (c) vs El Dragon Nihan

They lock up and let go. Nihan shoves him. They test strength and Nihan backdrops him off the side headlock. Nihan side headlocks him. They criss-cross and SM dropkicks him. SM flying headscissors him then corner splashes him. SM hits short arm lariats. SM gets on his back with a sleeper.

SM sleepers him. Nihan knees him in the gut and punches him in the corner. Nihan slams him. They headbutt each other and SM goes down. Nihan chops him and is superkicked in the gut. Nihan superkicks him out of the corner. Nihan powerbombs him for 2. Nihan jumps at him and SM thrill rides him. SM pins him.

Thoughts: Unfortunately, it didn't get a ton of time. Most matches don't in the NWA and it's particularly a problem when it's the main event getting its time cut short. What we got was acceptable tough. Silas won and Nihan did look competitive against him.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual NWA Powerrr show. Nothing got a ton of time which limited some of the quality. Everything was average to acceptable here and 3 of the 5 matches were random. There was nothing that great on this one and I wouldn't recommend it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was average.

WWC Superestrellas de la Lucha Libre 6/20/2026

WWC Superestrellas de la Lucha Libre 6/20/2026

Special Ref: Orlando Toledo - If Pelayo loses, he is suspended from ref duties for 90 days - Pelayo Vazquez vs El Informante

---

Abel Durant is our host.

We get a recap video of the 53rd Anniversary Show matches.

Abel talks about the Anniversary show.

Apollo vs Alberto El Patron

We join this in progress. Apollo hits a bulldog for 2. Apollo boots him out of the corner and Al double stomps him there for 2. Al argues with the ref, Apollo escapes a double team from Al and Hijo del Dos Caras then Apollo uranage's Al for 2.

Al throws water in Apollo's eyes. Apollo blocks a low blow then low blows Al. Hijo del Dos Caras then low blows Apollo. Apollo's girl then low blows Hijo del Dos Caras and the match is thrown out.

Thoughts: We didn't see much of it and what we saw didn't look good. I didn't really get the finish here as Apollo got low blowed in front of the ref and he only called for the bell when Hijo del Dos Caras got low blowed...who wasn't even in the match.

Tony Leyenda and Amaddeo Sole vs El Payaso Makabro and El Paparazzi

We join this in process. Papa fights out of a chinlock and he sunset flips Tony for 2. Tony lariats Papa down. Tony misses a corner lariat. Sole hits elbows on Papa's head. Papa and Sole double clothesline each other.

PM gets in and hits punches on Tony. They botch a flapjack and PM pounds on him. PM flatliners Tony. Sole and Papa both get in to fight. The heels are sent into each other. Papa slingshot plancha's out and Tony uranage neckbreakers PM for the win.

Thoughts: We didn't see a lot of this. PM botched a flapjack on Tony. Tony's uranage neckbreaker move was interesting and I popped for Papa busting out a slingshot plancha.

Jake Hager vs Jeff Cobb

This is from MLW Fusion 5/3/2018 and we join this in progress. Col. Rob Parker/Rob Fuller is with Jake but Abel just calls him Jake's manager. JC powerslams Jake for 2 then standing moonsaults him for 2. JC hits forearms on Jake and Jake facekicks him down. Jake misses a splash. JC misses a standing ssp.

Jake flying shoulders JC into the buckles. Jake tries a vader bomb and JC gets his knees up. JC tries to throw Jake down but Jake ankle locks him. JC then submits.

Thoughts: I would love to know if WWC actually had the rights to this one. What we got looked alright and definitely a bit above anything we saw on here so far.

Albeto El Patron does a promo from his bed. He says he's taking a break after Mexico won in the World Cup and asks how Puerto RIco is doing in it. He says PR has never made the World Cup. Al says PR is fighting for electricity and not to be in a bad economy. He says good luck with that. He says PR is up against the pride of the Latinos. He says he's the man who restores electricity to PR whenever he goes there and is the greatest of all time.

Xavant does a promo outside. He says Alberto talks too much and is now bragging about sports. Xavant says PR' basketball team beat the USA basketball team and had Felix Trinidad. He says Puerto Rican's take big challenges personally. He says he's not blind to what Alberto has done and he respects it. He says it doesn't intimidate him. He says he will fight with his heart. He says Carlos Colon fought Mil Mascaras and Ray Gonzalez fought Pierroth Jr. He says he will battle Al and beat the boss because that's what heroes do.

Abel talks about the Zcion RT1 vs Intelecto Cinco Estrellas feud and show their history.

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says RT1 does a fake tough guy act to disguise his true fears and failures. He asks how many times has he had Universal Title shots and failed. He says he will fail again. He says everyone knows RT1 is in danger. He says RT1 is hiding but Cinco says what he has is reality. He says RT1 is a fool and crybaby. He says he wil continue to be the Universal champ and the fear of RT1's family. He says RT1 is afraid of him.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says Cinco wanted to play with fire and will burn in his own hell. He says Cinco's time has come. He says Cinco has 7 days left as champ. He says Cinco won't face his brother but the revolutionary who made history for more than a decade and retired legends. He says he faces a man who isn't afraid of blood and pain. He says Cinco's time is over. He says Cinco will regret every day of his life and says we are seeing the new Universal champ.

We see clips of the Chicano/Bryan vs Colon's feud.

Eddie and Carlito Colon do promos. Eddie says WWC hasn't had an anniversary like this in 23 years. Eddie says he's anxious and says Carlito is too. Eddie says they will face 2 pieces of trash who don't belong in the company. Eddie says they are coming in big. Carlito calls his opponents street vendor's. Carlito says they will show the difference between class and street.

Chicano and La Amenaza Bryan do a promo. Chicano compares The Colon's to Mormon's for dressing up in suits. Chicano says it'll be a massacre and says blood will flow. Bryan says they aren't clowns like The Colon's. Bryan says to take the fight seriously and says it's time to pay. Bryan says they wanted to fire them and now it's time to pay. Bryan says they will open their Wrestling 101 class and the first lesson is how they ripped their heads off.

We see clips of the Orlando Colon vs Ray Gonzalez feud.

Orlando Colon does a video at the beach. He says he's preparing for the most difficult fight of his life. He says he doesn't care about Ray's opinion. OC says he walks alone and never needed people like Ray. He needed people like himself who believes in himself. He says those people are real and people like Ray manipulate. He tells the fans to support Ray because he will make him look like #2.

Ray Gonzalez does a promo. He says Orlando is using words he can't back up and says Orlando is blaming him for LAWE's failure. He says wrestling is a business. He says Orlando thought he knew everything but realized he didn't. He says Orlando overspent with LAWE. He says they will see each other face to face and says Orlando needs to back up his words. He says neither Eddie or Orlando will force him to retire and he will retire when he is ready. He tells Orlando to tie his boots up tight as he's the same guy who took his mask in 2009. He says he will defend what is his in the ring against him and says nobody can take it from him. Ray says he will teach him a good lesson and teach him that he has to earn things instead of being handed them.

They announce that WWC will be aired on Youtube again and say WWC Plus will be available soon. That's big news and I'm curious as to what WWC Plus will offer.

Abel then closes the show and says there will be a surprise tomorrow.

Overall thoughts: We had 3 matches here. We only saw the second half or end of all of them and none of them were anything that special. One of the matches wasn't even from WWC. It was all promos, Anniversary Show ads and highlight videos otherwise and most had already been shown. The biggest news coming out of this is that WWC will be airing on Youtube again and they are making WWC Plus. We don't know what WWC Plus is, but I'm guessing it's some kind of Youtube membership and that could have some real potential if they offer a way to see shows in full. I wouldn't recommend this and would give it a 3 out of 10. This wasn't good.

WWE Smackdown 6/19/2026

WWE Smackdown 6/19/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/wwe-smackdown-6122026.html

We are in Kansas City, MO. Jose Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Thoughts: We knew there was going to be some shenanigans here but I don't think anyone had Sami screwing Gunther as the outcome. The match really wasn't anything too special and it was really about all the drama with Sami.

Nick Aldis comes out and yells at Sami. Sami walks to the back. Gun then follows and is upset.

Gunther, Aldis and Cody argue in the back. Cody heads back out to the ring as Sami rejoins the argument. Cody asks for a mic. Cody says we need a ref and need to restart the match. Thoughts: We've seen this bout a few too many times lately. It was all action as expected. I don't really think either guy is that strong of a face or heel at the moment. It was acceptable, but it's time to move on from this.

Cody Rhodes and Nick Aldis talk. Cody says he knows the situation Gun puts Aldis in. Cody says he's tired of catering to Sami. He says he wants to face both in a triple threat at Night of Champions. Aldis agrees.

Evans is crotched up top. Jey spears him. Jey top rope splashes him and wins.

Thoughts: Jey won as expected here. I didn't like the spanish fly not meaning anything but they worked alright together otherwise. It got a lot of time and was the workrate match of the night for sure.It was alright but not perfect. As always with Evans, they'll give him a big moment to shine like this, but it's the smaller weekly segments where he loses whatever popularity he got after the big match.

Solo talks to Fatu. Solo says Roman sent Fatu here to get in his head. Solo says he maybe needs to come to Roman's show and mess with his family if he will mess with his family.

Giulia does a video. She says she got even with Kiana in Italy and won the US Title here in the US. She says they will be in London where she was born. She says her and Kiana will see which one is better without the other.

Tiffany Stratton is interviewed. She accepts Jade's challenge. Chelsea Green comes in and talks for the time. Tiff asks what she's doing. Tiff says she tried to beat her up then tried to be her friend. She says she can do this on her own without it.

We get an Alexa Bliss video on her career.

Liv Morgan does a video on Charlotte Flair. She says it's a shame her QOTR run stops here. She says Flair is the past and says QOTR isn't her anymore. She says she will come to SD to show her what happens when she's in the presence of the greatest women's champ of all time.

Char figure fours her. Liv turns it around. Liv clips her and half crabs her. Char rope breaks. The doctors come check on Char. Char pulls Liv's throat over the 2nd rope. Liv hits oblivion for 2. Liv half crabs her and Char taps.

Thoughts: It went as expected with Liv working the leg and Char eventually giving in. It got a lot of time and was slower and dramatic. It was fine but the story made sure there was only going to be so much excitement.

Overall thoughts: Cody/Gunther wasn't great bit it had a lot of twists and turns and it sets up the next PLE main event. The other matches were all fine, just nothing super outstanding. This was all KOTR and QOTR stuff for the most part. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was an okay show overall.

SA superkicks Mex as he comes off the bottom rope. Mex spears him off the bottom rope for 2. Mex is on the buckles and SA enzugiri's him. SA throws him off the top. SA top rope diving codebreakers him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It wasn't that good. Mexica wasn't that effective or entertaining and the crowd didn't care at all. They didn't do that much lucha and it had a slower pace. It didn't feel like the big match they were hyping it up as.

They hug after and Mexica hits him in the crotch. Mexica jay drillers him then poses on him with the title after.

Mr. Iguana does a promo. he says him and La Yesca are coming to PR and the IWA for Summer Attitude. He says he's here to make history.

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 matches here and neither was that good. The crowd was dead and there was some issue with the hard cam as there was a giant black box on the bottom of the screen the whole time. We really didn't get anything but the two matches and no real information on what happened at Legend Mania. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 as it was below average.

Thoughts

Thoughts: It another so-so to average match. The crowd wasn't into it, the work was slow and there wasn't a lot of fire here. Both wrestlers got their section to do their offense then we went to the finish. This should have been better than it was.

Lee superkicks him then brainbusters him for 2. KT back body drops him. Lee rolls him up for 2. KT blue thunders him. KT pumping knees him and wins.

Thoughts: I hated it. It was a no sell fest as expected with the two bringing the worst out of each other. Thankfully, it didn't get that much time so they couldn't get too crazy.

Hook and Anthony Bowens do a promo. Bowens says it'll be them and Shibata vs The Premier Athletes and BEEF. Bowens says it's a great chance for a group of killers to choose violence. They get snippy with each other and Hook says it's good they know their places.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. TI just hit a bunch of kicks. She didn't beat up Hyan enough and Hyan wasn't really good enough of an underdog to make this work. It was also clear that Hyan wasn't winning this early on.

Thoughts
: It was alright and very similar to the tag match we got on the Youtube Special this week. It wasn't anyone's best work and it didn't get enough time though. The faces won this one as expected.

Syu emerald flowsion's her for 2. Syu pumping knees her and buzzsaw kicks her. Syu forearms her. Ath slides between her legs and does a pumphandle tombstone. Ath hits a top rope diving o-face and pins her.

Thoughts
: Ath won as expected here. It was mostly a strike based match without a true story to it. It was acceptable but not some classic match. The crowd didn't get into it until the second half.

Overall thoughts: All but 2 matches were random here and one was just a replay from CMLL. The crowd wasn't that into this and I don't blame them. This had a decent bit of filler and not quite as many foreign guests as you would expect. The opener was maybe the best thing on here. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was rather average and not quite as good as it could have been.
