Ring of Honor on HonorClub 9/3/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-8272026.html

Athena asks Billie Starkz and Diamante what thye are doing tonight. Ath asks her who the baddest is and asks what she will do to Janai Kai. Billie says she will knock her out. Ath tells Dia to watch Billie but not to help her as she wants to see if she's as good as she thinks she is.

ROH World Tag Team Title Match - El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Mistico) (c) vs. RPG VICE (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta)

Paul Wight and Tony Schiavone are on commentary for this.

The heels refuse to shake hands. RR and Mist compete for cheers. RR waistlock takedowns him and Mist armdrags him. Mist then headstand headscissors him from the mat. They sweep each other and stand off. RR shimmies at him.

Mist spin kicks him in the gut. Trent knees Mist in the back and RR drops Mist with a punch. Trent hits forearms on Mist in the corner. MD springboard crossbodies Trent. MD walks up the buckles, flips into the ropes and armdrags Trent. MD corkscrew headscissors RR down.

MD enzugiri's RR. Trent trips MD on the apron. MD then is put in the electric chair and RR flying knees him from the apron in a doomsday device variation. Trent sends MD into the rails. MD's head is banged off the commentary table.

RR suplexes MD. Trent unties MD's mask. RR dropkicks MD and poses. RR chops MD down. MD enzugiri's RR. Mist tags in and springboard double crossbodies the heels. Mist is double hiptossed into the ropes and hits a double armdrag off of it. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags Trent down. Mist's 619 is blocked by RR. MD tags in and springboard tornillo diving armdrags Trent.

Trent flying back elbows MD in the corner. MD jumps off Trent and headscissors RR. Mist flying headscissors Trent. Mist and MD hit stereo topes. MD electric chair flipping neckbreakers RR for 2. Trent gotch style piledrivers Mist on the floor.

MD takes a double flying knee from his opponents. Trent release suplexes MD for 2. Trent low flying knees MD for 2. Trent top rope hurricanrana's MD but MD rolls through it. MD superkicks RR. Trent grabs MD's mask and rolls him up for 2. MD takes a b-driver + top rope double stomp for 2. MD springboard double dropkicks the heels. Mist 619's the heels. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies RR. Mist hits kicks on him.

Mist sunset bombs Trent with MD's help. Mist top rope spanish flies RR. MD top rope ssp's Trent while Mist la mistica's RR. RR immediately taps out.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. It had a weird structure to it. They were all set to go home half-way through then had a second half to it. It also went longer than it needed to.

Adam Priest vs Alan Angels

AP side headlocks him. AA shoves him out of the corner. AA runs around the ref and pounds on AP in the corner. AA neckbreakers him for 1. AP running lariats him. AP chops him up in the corner and euros him down. AP suplexes him for 1.

AP dragon screws him then half-crabs him. AA ropebreaks. AA upkicks him. AA superkicks him from the apron then 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. AA stomps him and back elbows him for 2. AA chops him down for 2. AA slaps him and AP back body drops him. AA spin kicks him in the gut and half-nelson suplexes him. AA spin kicks him in the face for 2.

AA stomps AP. AP forearms him then knocks him over. AP half-crabs him and AA submits.

Thoughts: This was dumb. Alan kicked AP's butt here for most of this then Adam won. I don't think Alan is really in the position to get the amount of offense he got in here and the win didn't really put Adam over. I didn't like this.

Shane Taylor Promotions does a promo minus their newest recruit. The Infantry say beating up your favorite wrestlers put them back in title contention. Bravo says they have their eyes set on various titles. Bravo says there is big gold in their future. Shane says the gang is back.

Preston Vance vs. Daron Richardson

PV offers a handshake and DR kicks it away. PV side headlocks him thne shoulders him over. DR flips off of him and poses. PV pump kicks him down. PV corner lariats him and pump kicks him in the corner. PV spinebusters him. PV spinning lariats him. PV full nelson's him and DR is out.

Thoughts: DR has some very unusual looking here. He tried to show some personality here and did a decent job with it. Vance on as expected and didn't particularly impress. It was average.

The Dark Order come out for their match as Vance is leaving and John pushes Vance.

The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno & John Silver) vs. Kid Kaos, Landon Hale & Papa Juice

Hale boots John then John shoulders him over. John running euros him over. Hale is double dropped on his chest then takes a triple team basement dropkick. Alex cravate plexes Hale. Juice comes in and Alex abdominal stretches him. Alex hiptosses him then dropkicks him.

Kid comes in and is back elbow'd down. Uno shoulders Kid over twice. Juice hits Uno from the apron and is booted off of it. Uno shoulders Juice over and sends him into the rails. Uno sends Hale into the steps.

Kid boots Uno in the corner. Hale kicks Uno in the back. Juice drops Kid onto Uno for 2. Uno facekicks Juice down. John tags in and hits a double lariat. He back body drops Juice. John backdrops Kid and pumping knees Hale from behind. John germans Hale. Hale takes a stunner into a germand and is pinned.

Thoughts: The jobbers got more offense in than I expected. The Dark Order did their usual moves and won as always. It was just filler. Papa Juice wasn't bad here.

Billie Starkz vs. Janai Kai

Kai takes her down by the arm and shakes her hand before the bell. Kai armdrags BS twice into an armlock. Kai hits kicks on BS. BS misses a corner spear, ducks a kick and slides out. Kai PK's BS from the apron. BS hits oblivion on Kai on the floor.

Kai i sent into the post. BS throws her down backwards in the ring and boots her in the face. Kai slap flurries her and boots her in the chest. BS kicks her off the buckles. BS 2nd rope diving tornado ddt's her. BS misses a top rope swanton. Kai kicks her in the gut and head. Kai half-nelson slams her for 2.

BS picks her up like a suplex and kind of rams her into and over the top. BS traps her arms and drops her face first from the piledriver position. BS then pins her.

Thoughts: It was a little unusual as it was basically heel vs heel with no clear faces. It wasn't that good and Starkz won as expected.

Isla Dawn is interviewed. She says she's been treading water in ROH but she needs to add some pressure. She says it's time for everyone to drown in her ocean. Mina Shirakawa interrupts when Isla says she's the most talented and most beautiful. Mina says what she wants is Mina. Sh says she will get Mina. Isla says she can't wait. Mina says she doesn't drown but makes waves. She then dances.

Caprice Coleman does an interview with Scorpio Sky. CC says he feels like Sky can do everything in the ring and can do MMA. Sky says MMA training is insane but says you have no breaks in wrestling. He says he's goal oriented and MMA helps with that as he has to work towards a date. Sky says singles and tag matches in pro wrestling are different and he likes them all.

Sky says he was always an MMA fan. He says he went to the Green Ranger's dojo at age 10. He talks about being 170 and said he had a martial arts body. Sky says if he had to give himself advice, it would be to bet on yourself more and take more chances. He says not to become complacent and to always work to get better.

Mark Davis vs. Soleil

Sol bends down out of an enzugiri and flips out of a lariat. Sol upkicks him. Mark catches his crossbody and slams him. Mark sentons him.

Mark chops him down then low forearms him while he's seated in the corner. Mark stomps him and slams him. Mark misses a senton. Sol hits chops and kicks. Sol corkscrew crossbodies him. Sol then walks on him and mule kicks him. Mark gutwrench suplexes him backwards and low forearms him. Mark enzugiri's him. Sol flips out of a lariat and neckbreakers him.

Sol top rope crossbodies him for 2. Mark flips him with a lariat and Sol hurricanrana's him for 2. Sol hits superkicks. Sol's backflip is caught and he takes a reverse slam into a driver. Mark piledrivers him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was fine and was what it should have been with Sol flying around and Mark overpowering him. I had no problems with this.

ROH World Title Match - Bandido (c) vs. The Beast Mortos

Band ducks a shot on the ropes. Band wristlocks him and Mort reverses it. Mort bites Band's fingers. Band knees him in the gut then armdrags him. Mort armdrags him twice then armlocks him.

Mort throws him down by the hair. Band armdrags him and boots him in the gut. Mort criss-cross spears him for 2. Band goes out and gets slapped. Mort sends him into the rails. Mort twists Band's head with his feet. Mort swinging hair throws Band.

Band hits forearms on him then Mort rolls him into a reverse figure four. Band rope breaks. Band sunset bombs him. Band corkscrew headscissors him. Band then tope con hilos him outside. Band top rope tornillo's him.

Mort pop up samoan drops him for 2. Band crucifix drivers him. Band satellite headscissors him into a pin attempt and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't that bad. They didn't have the time to go all out here and they didn't. Band did his flying and Mort mostly did his basic offense.

Band hugs the ref and fans after.

Overall thoughts: I didn't like the opener as it went long and had a weird structure. I didn't like Priest/Angels as Alan mostly kicked Priest's butt before losing. Vance won a squash that wasn't bad. The Dark Order won their usual squash as well. Starkz/Kai was like a heel vs heel match and it wasn't that good. Soleil/Mark Davis was fine and was what it should have been. The main wasn't that bad. I'd give it a 4 out of 10. The show was mostly random and there was a lot of filler that we didn't really need to see with few storylines being advanced. It was below average.

WWE Main Event 9/3/2026

WWE Main Event 9/3/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/wwe-main-event-8272026.html

Blake Howard and Vic Joseph are on commentary here.

Matt Cardona vs Kit Wilson

Matt backs him up in the corner on the lock up and is shoved. Matt wristlocks him and shoves him down. Matt flapjacks him and corner lariats him. Matt 2nd rope dropkicks him then lariats him over the top. Matt dropkicks him through the ropes.

Matt is on the bottom rope and Kit sweeps him. Matt then hits a leg lariat and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short waste of time that ended before much was accomplished. Kit got jobbed out here for nothing.

The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom)

The Raiders are the current AAA tag champs, so it's unlikely they lose here.

Ivar shoves him down. NF enzugiri's him and Ivar misses a splash. Ivar shoulders him over. NF enzugiri's Erik. Erik takes shots from both opponents and a short ddt. Erik forearms Ax down. Ax is double pounded on against the ropes.

Ivar hits back elbows on Ax in the corner. Ax is whipped Erik and takes a knee to the face. Erik forearms Ax down. Ivar slms Ax then Erik slams Ivar onto Ax. Erik guillotines Ax. Ax chops him. Ax goes up and over and tags out. NF springboard euros Ivar. NF flying forearms Erik. Ivar butt drops him out of the corner.

Ivar misses a 2nd rope moonsault on NF. NF tags out to Ax. Ax is launched into a dropkick on Erik. NF topes Erik and Ax topes Ivar. NF's double tope attempt is caught then Ax swantons the heels down from the top. Ivar takes a top rope dropkick + legsweep.

Ax hits punches on Erik. Ax is popped up into a powerslam. NF takes a double team powerbomb and is pinned.

Thoughts: It picked up a bit in the second half. I didn't think they got the flow right in the first half. It was what you would expect with the faces flying and The Raiders pounding on them. It was acceptable but could have been better.

Overall thoughts
: There were 2 new matches here and it only went 16 minutes long. The opener was a short waste. The tag match was better but not as good as it could have been. I wouldn't really recommend this one as it was so-so, but you can get through it pretty quick if you watch it.

TNA Impact 9/3/2026

TNA Impact 9/3/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/tna-impact-8272026.html

We are in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt are on commentary.

Matt Hardy comes out to talk. He says him and Jeff walked into Lockdown as the tag champs but didn't walk out as the tag champs. He says The Nemeth's beat them. Matt says they didn't live up to expectations at Lockdown. Matt says their dreams as kids was to hold the tag titles once. Matt says the most special tag titles they held were here in TNA. He says the TNA Tag Titles mean everything to them. Matt says they wanted to use their rematch clause but someone took Jeff out.

Matt says Jeff doesn't remember what happened and he said he has never seen him in this state. He says Jeff hasn't bounced back after injury. He says the people who have the most motivation to do this are The Nemeth's as they know there's a rematch clause. Matt says he holds them responsible.

Matt says The Hardy's will not die.

The Nemeth's come out. Nic asks why Matt won't die already.  Nic says they beat The Hardy's for big money and to get paid. He says Matt better watch his mouth with his accusations and says they didn't touch Jeff. Nic says they aren't taking Jeff out for free and says Matt still lost. Matt says he made a mistake...he came out here. Matt then punches The Nemeth's. The Nemeth's get the edge with the 2v1. Security comes to break it up and does.

Gia Miller interviews Trey Miguel. Trey says him and Jason Hotch both want Ali and the International Title. He says he loves him and trained him but it's about something bigger. He says he hopes Mustafa Ali is watching and says he is owed everything that is coming to him.

Elayna Black talks about losing at Lockdown and says it affected her more than she thought. The Elegance Brand walks past and ask if they are interrupting something. They make fun of her for losing and say they are going to celebrate as they have a champion. M says the difference between them is that when the pressure was on, she didn't disappoint those who came to see her. Black says she might just take the title from her. M says she's not getting a shot and says Heather By Elegance will fight Black. Heather isn't thrilled and Black likes the idea.

Expressions does the introduction for AJ Francis and says he's the greatest big man in the business.

AJ Francis vs. Brent Oakley

Brent runs at him and hits shots to the gut. AJ misses a splash. Brent hits a sliding germans on him  then he takes Expressions' hat. Brent slips on a springboard and AJ spears him. AJ pins him.

Thoughts
: It was just a quick squash and not much else. Brent's been used a lot on TNA lately through Xplosion.

AJ gets on the mic. He says he proved he's the best man in the business and the best AJ to step into a TNA ring. He says he's the best person for Avery Styles to have his first TNA match. He says if it's not past his bedtime, he will give him the @ss whooping that his daddy never did.

Santino Marella comes out. He says he usually doesn't agree with AJ and his buddy, but he does today. He brings out Avery Styles. Santino asks if Avery wants to face AJ next week and Avery says "hell yeah". Frankie Kazarian then comes out. He says Avery isn't ready for this and he won't let Santino throw him to the dogs. He says this is not happening and asks for the crowd to hit his music.

Daria Rae talks to Zoey Serrano and Xia Brookside tonight. She says she needs them to beat their opponents tonight.

Xia Brookside & Zoey Serrano vs. Harley Hudson & Indi Hartwell

Daria Rae is on commentary for this.

Indi and Xia get in. Xia tags out to avoid Indi. Indi takes Zoey down and pounds on her. Indi hits short arm lariats. Zoey superkicks her. Indi armdrags her and corner lariats her. Indi lariats Zoey on the apron. Zoey goes outside to stall. Zoey then shoves a "fan" in the front row.

We go to break and return. Indi straightjacket chokes HH. HH throws her over. Zoey running lariats Xia on a failed double team. HH monkey flips Zoey. Indi comes in and double lariats her opponents. Indi back elbows Zoey and boots her in the head for 2.

Indi spinebusters Zoey for 2. Xia codebreakers Indi. HH spinning lariats Xia. Zoey superkicks HH and all 4 girls are down. The four trade shots. Zoey germans Indi and running knees her. Xia gets a 2 count on Indi. HH dropkicks Zoey through the ropes and HH jumps on Zoey off the apron. Indi does a weak shoulder lock to Xia and submits her.

Thoughts:
It was short, a little rushed and not that good. Indi's new submission was random and she didn't do anything to work the arm before winning with it.

Tom the announcer presses Daria to give Indi a title shot.

TNA Injury Report

Jeff Hardy is out of action following the assault he took. Mustafa Ali is still out with a punctured lung.

Ryan Nemeth is down and hurt in the back.

Joe Alonzo talks on the mic ahead of his match. He tells Montreal to get on their feet and show respect to him. Joe says it's his TNA debut (not really as he was on Xplosion). He talks about Leon Slater dropping the X-Title to chase the World Title (Leon Slater is at the commentary table). He says Leon would rather put the title on the shelf then watch Joe take it from him. He tells Leon to watch him make an example of the oompa loompa KC Navarro. He tells the fans it's okay if they boo him as if he wasn't Joe Alonzo, he'd hate him too.

TNA X-Division Title Qualifying Match - KC Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo

Joe shoves him down off the lock up. KC armdrags him and rolls over his back. Joe misses a charge and goes outside. KC topes him. They go back in, KC tries an up and over and is thrown off. Joe backdrops KC on the apron. Joe stomps KC in the corner.

Joe slams him then corner dropkicks him. Joe backdrops him for 2. Joe pulls KC's arms back. Joe throws him down and chinlocks him. KC hits forearms and Joe boots him in the knee. They crossbody each other at the same time.

KC lariats and dropkicks him. KC spinning ddt's him. KC's throat is pulled down over the top. Joe springboard double axe handles him for 2. KC step up enzugiri's him. KC trips him into the ropes and hits a 305 kick. Joe puts the ref in KC's way. KC escapes a pedigree. KC rolls him up for 2. KC hits a running sliced bread and pins him.

Thoughts:
I don't know if this was the best way to get Joe on the main roster. He lost and it went long. It's not like the match was bad but for a person a lot of people don't know, having a longer match wasn't really going to help him. It didn't quite get over like it wasn't supposed to and I didn't think it was that good.

Leon Slater says we are looking at the next TNA World champ after.

Fabian Aichner says he's looking forward to seeing Leon Slater at Bound For Glory. He says he will pave his way to Bound For Glory next week and says he's numero uno.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Title Match - Allie & Kiera Hogan (c) vs. Shazza McKenzie & Vipress

Allie and SM lock up. Sm backs her up in the corner. Allie hits chest forearms and thesz presses her. Allie hits mounted shots. Hogan corner splashes SM then Allie sliding forearms SM in the corner. Hogan baseball slides SM for 2.

Hogan hip attacks SM on the ropes then step up legdrops her for 2. Vip kicks Hogan on the ropes and throws her into the corner. Vip corner basement dropkicks her. Vip hits mounted forearms on Hogan.

SM boots Hogan in the corner and grounded cobra twists her. Hogan superkicks her. Allie comes in and hits flying lariats on Vip. She running knees her in the side of the head. Allie hanging headscissors her over the top rope.

Vip takes a codebreaker and a twisting fisherman's neckbreaker. Allie then gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was hard to care since this one was so random and since there was little reason to care. It was just a match and Hogan/Allie won as expected.

Indi Hartwell goes up to Daria Rae in the back. Daria is on the phone and isn't interested. Indi says she just tapped out the champ and is deserving of a title opportunity. Daria says Gabi Forza is the new #1 contender and says she left a better impression on her than Indi has. Indi says she's trying to get under her skin. Daria then pretends to get a phone call and leaves.

Ricky Sosa talks. He says last week was one of the toughest matches of his career. He says he's in pain and The System want to put him down but it won't happen. The System walk in. Eddie says they decide when things are finished and says this thing with Sosa was finished at Lockdown. Brian says Sosa is tough but it doesn't mean anything when you face the gatekeepers of TNA. Elijah comes in and says they've  got unfinished business. Eddie says to take it up with Santino.

Dutch vs. BDE

Vincent gets on the mic before the match. He says they've been telling BDE for weeks that they see something in BDE. He says they all know BDE wants his first singles win in TNA. Vince says they can give it to him. Vince tells Dutch to lay down. Dutch lays down and Vince tells BDE to pin Dutch. BDE isn't sure and then elbow drops Dutch.

Dutch grabs him by the throat and BDE hits punches. BDE's 2nd rope crossbody is caught and Dutch drops him chest first on the mat. Dutch rolls BDE into the buckles then throws him hard into the buckles. Dutch corner splashes him and short arm lariats him.

Dutch grabs BDE by the face and hits chest clubs. BDE hits punches on Dutch and superkicks him. Dutch black hole slams BDE and pins him.

Thoughts: BDE loses again. It was another shorter bout and was essentially a squash here. They mentioned how Swann is doing nothing for BDE as he keeps losing and I don't think that was a good thing to bring attention to.

Rich Swann checks on BDE after. Vincent hits a twisting ddt on Rich. Dutch then carries BDE out on his shoulder.

Mila Moore talks to Mustafa Ali on the phone. John Skyler tries to ask Mila out on a date but she gets interrupted with a phone call.

TNA International Title #1 Contendership Match - Trey Miguel vs. Jason Hotch

They go up to each other and talk. They shake hands and lock up. They let go. Trey wristlocks him. Jason headflips out and trips him.

Jason wristlocks him. Trey armdrags him and kips up. Trey wristlocks him and Jason armdrags him. Jason then kips up. They test strength. Trey backrolls him for 1. Jason armdrags him then is armdragged back. They try to armdrag and dropkick each other at the same time. They then kip up and stand off.

We go to break and return. Trey back elbows him and low single leg dropkicks him. Trey head and arm locks him. Jason pump kicks him down for 2. Jason slingshot backbreakers him for 2.

Trey hits kicks on him and double stomps his back. Trey asai moonsaults him for 2. Jason lariats, back elbows and rolls him into a double stomp. Jason rolls into a cutter on him for 2. Trey flips over him and double stomps his back for 2.

Jason corner facekicks Trey. Jason M. Bison stomps Trey for 2. Jason flips out of a sunset bomb off the buckles. Trey superkicks his head into the buckles. Jason 2nd rope diving poisonrana's him. Trey no sells it and poisonrana's him. Jason spinning sitout torture rack bombs him for 2.

They trade chops. Trey step up enzugiri's him. Trey superkicks him and they double crossbody each other. They kip up together, high kick each other down at the same time then high kick each other down at the same time again.

They each pull off their tape on their hands. They hockey fight. Agent Zero comes in, double lariats both and the match is thrown out.

Thoughts
: It was basically a random bout. I didn't like this. Neither guy is really in the position to headline a show like this. The match got indy with cute spots where both guys did the same thing at the same time and they no sold. Then Zero came out and got the match thrown out. The beginning of the match also got no reaction. This wasn't good.

Zero double arm chokeslams Jason and leaves both guys laying.

Matt Hardy and Nic Nemeth try to fight in the back. Security and Santino stop them. Santino says if they've got a problem, they can fight next week. Santino says it'll be a World Title match and it's no DQ.

Overall thoughts:
This was my least favorite TNA show in quite some time. It felt like the budget for this one was very low. There was little starpower here and the top wrestlers weren't in action. AJ Francis won a squash. The women's tag match with Indi wasn't that good. KC/Alonzo went too long and it didn't get over like it was supposed to. The Hogan/Allie tag was random and not that long. Dutch/BDE was basically a squash. The main was an indy style match, the first half of it got no reaction and Agent Zero got the match thrown out in the end anyway. I'd give it a 3 out of 10. It was just all random matches with nobodies and it was a poor effort from TNA. This wasn't good.

El Aura Perfecta (Lou Forza and Amaddeo Sole) vs Los Inmortales (Orly Jr. & Tapia)

Wilfredo Rivera vs El Informante

El Payaso Makabro vs El Diabolico

---

Abel Durant and Axel Cruz are our hosts.

The mayor of Augadilla hypes up the next show there on 9/13/26. He talks about a lumberjack match with fans as the lumberjacks.

Xavant vs Lou Forza

We seem to join this near the beginning of it. Lou yells at him and pokes him. They shoulderblock battle and Lou is knocked backwards. They test strength and Xavant gets the edge. Xavant hits running shoulders and knocks him over and out of the ring. Xavant hen hits an open hand shot outside and drops him.

Lou begs off and is hit again. Lou goes in and Xavant suplexes him for 2. Lou jawbreakers him. Lou hits falling headbutt drops on him. Lou pulls on his face and mouth then eye rakes him. Lou stands on his neck then chinlocks him.

Xavant hits elbows to the gut and germans him. Xavant hits punches then flying lariats him. Xavant lariats him. Lou hits a back elbow and is crotched up top. Xavant open hand slaps him up top. Xavant then AA's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a basic and simple match. Lou lost as expected and did a lot of bumping. Xavant's shots didn't look that good. It was average. We saw this already on the 6/7 show.

El Diabolico does a promo. He says they will be in his own on 9/13 and they are dressed up there because he's back in the ring. He says welcome the prince of darkness to the sharks' pond. He says the 9/13 show will be his last game the end of his antics as he will be in the house of danger. He says he will show him that he's in charge in his town. He says he will show where men and boys are separated.

El Payaso Makabro does a promo. He says El Diabolico tries to intimidate his opponents but he doesn't intimidate him. He says his days of wrestling are coming to an end and says let's play.

"El Hostil" Jovan does a promo. He says it's the fans' turn in Aguadilla to surround the ring as lumberjacks. He says they will fight again and says Brandon will have a tough time again just like he did in Bayamon.

Brandon The Skater does a promo. He says he has an important match on 9/13. He complains about the fans as the lumberjack match. He says he will explain what that is to the fans. He says fans can't bring ropes or cables, just belts. He says they should go to the nearest town or Rayting's Minimarket to get belts to be part of his humiliation of Jovan. he says if you don't like it, that's your problem.

Orlando Colon vs Wilfred Rivera

OC backs him up in the corner and misses a shot. OC backs him up again and misses a shot in the corner. OC then goes out of the ring to to argue with the mayor of Aguadilla. OC gets back in, teases a test of strength and boots him in the gut. OC side headlocks him then shoulders him over.

Wil flying back elbows him then armdrags him. Wil armlocks him. OC tries to slam him but Wil holds on and armdrags him into an armlock. OC boots him.

We go to break.

La Guerrera Amazona does a promo from a car. She says what happened at last night's show is something they shouldn't even talk about. She tells Sai Perez to get ready as they will fight 1v1. She says it's her chance to show the people or PR she didn't come with lies. She says it's her chance to show she's the best wrestler. She says she's going all out to show her that actions speak louder than words.

Lou Forza does a promo. He says ignorance knows no age. He says he's been ignorant at times and is surprised Los Inmortales are playing the fools against them. He says they want to face off at the perfect time. He says he's going straight to the point with them. He says if they still say they are his family then don't compete against him in Aguadilla. He says they will have a bad time and says he and Sole are the wrong people to salvage your career against. He says no one can stop him and Sole.

Wilfred Rivera says last night a successful defense of his TV Title and he has to thanks the fans for supporting him. He says he feels like El Informante is taking things too far by attacking him after he beat him.

He says he's asking for a fight against him now. He says he's angry now and on 9/13, they will face off again. He says he wants revenge and he will see him in Aguadilla.

Tony Leyenda does a promo in the car but he can't control the car or the window. He says he will always find a way to  overcome all obstacles. He then smiles and leaves.

We return to the match. OC eye rakes Wil with his boot lace. OC back elbows him. OC snapmares him and rakes his face with his feet. OC kicks him in the back and hits punches to the head. Wil sunset flips him but OC rolls out and PK's him.

OC legdrops him for 2. OC front facelocks him. Wil hits shots to the gut. OC corner lariats him twice. OC misses a corner splash and Wil flying dropkicks him. Wil hits punches and forearms him over. Wil lariats him over.

Wil leg lariats him for 2. OC flatliners him into the buckles and backcrackers him. OC top rope splashes him and wins.

Thoughts:
It got enough time. Wil mostly did the basics here and Orlando won as expected as he's much higher up on the food chain. It was average to acceptable and nothing too memorable.

Chicano does a promo. He asks if what happened to Ray at the last show wasn't enough. He says Ray could hurt his back again and be out of commission and says what if his back flared up again. He tells Ray to bake rolls at is corner store and stay home. He says if they keep it up, he will cause Ray's retirement.

Ray Gonzalez does a promo. He says he will face Chicano. He says he put Chicano in his place for trying to take advantage of a rookie. He says the new Director of Operations Orlando Toledo is giving Chicano some crumbs. Ray says Orlando thinks they are the same but they aren't. Ray says Chicano has a long way to go to do what he has done. He says we will see if Chicano can collect the bounty. He tells him to stop the nonsense and says he will checkmate him on 9/13.

We see clips that we have already seen of:

Special Ref: Ray Gonzalez - Barbed Wire Match - Intelecto Cinco Estrellas vs Zcion RT1

We join this in progress. Orlando Toledo is with Cinco. Cinco low blows RT1. Toledo gives Cinco a weapon. Ray then punches Cinco with brass knucks. RT1 twisting reverse ddt's Cinco and pins him.

Thoughts: Just why? We saw 20 seconds of this tops.

Cinco low blows Ray and RT1 after then hits a side effect on RT1. Cinco punches Ray then side effect's him. Cinco hits mounted punches on Ray then puts him in the tree of woe. Cinco stomps him there while Toledo chokes Ray.

Chicano runs in and him and Intelecto go at it. Toledo tries to separate them and RT1 bangs Intelecto's and Chicano's heads together. Lightning then comes in and chokeslams RT1.  Ray and Chicano get beat down more. Gilbert comes in and hits shots on Chicano and Lightning. The heels then leave.

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says Victor Jovica isn't putting up a barrier on his career by denying him a title rematch. He says as the new Caribbean champ, he's ready to defend it against Zcion RT1. He says Zcion RT1 knows his win over him was luck. He says lightning won't strike twice. He says RT1's fans know he is weaker than Intelecto. He says he knows RT1's weakness. He tells him to stay healthy so he can face him on 9/13.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says karma continues to take its toll on Intelecto. He says he promised he would make his life a living hell and make him pay every day for what he did to his family. He says he started making history at the 53rd Anniversary Show. He says he will provoke him. He says Jovica said Intelecto has to defend his title against him. He tells him to be prepared as he will rip out his soul and take the title from him. He says he will show him again who his daddy is in the business.

The hosts then close the show and say Aguadilla is the second home of WWC. They say the mayor of Aguadilla wanted the Zcion vs Intelecto match made for Aguadilla. They say the skating rink in Aguadilla is now their home in Aguadilla

Overall thoughts: It was a bit of a tough one to follow. You see, WWC had a show last night. WWC is still living in 1956 where photos or video of the event weren't possible to see, so we had to guess what happened through the promos and match graphics, since they also didn't tell us the results. This got even more fun with the promos for Intelecto vs Zcion because they referenced their Anniversary Show match...and we still haven't even seen a single photograph from that one. Other than that, we got our usual two matches. Both were basic and average for the most part. Neither were must see. We also got a random replay of clips of an old Intelecto/Zcion barbed wire match that we had already seen. I wouldn't recommend this one. This promotion is just so far behind and the show was anything special. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 overall. This wasn't good.

---

Abel Durant and Axel Cruz are our hosts.

The hosts welcome us to the show. Axel blames The Colon family's problems on Ray Gonzalez.

Tony Leyenda vs Mike Nice

We join this in progress. Tony stalls. Tony comes up to the apron, pulls Mike's throat over the top rope and stomps him. Tony elbow drops him. Mike hits shots to the gut and Tony back elbows him down. Tony butt drops Mike's back.

Tony misses a corner charge and takes a russian legsweep. Tony lariats Mike down. Tony suplexes him for 2. Tony forearms him and is caught with a spinebuster. Mike fires up and Tony starts walking to the back. Mike tries to follow him but doesn't catch him. Mike wins via countout.

Thoughts: It was short and not much of note here as Tony intentionally got himself counted out. That finish was as exciting as it sounds.

Alberto El Patron vs Ray Gonzalez

We join this in progress. Al spits water in his face and bangs his head off the post. Ray's head is banged off the seats and then the steps again. Al screws around outside and has water spit in his face. Ray then beats him with the water jug and pours water on him. Ray hits mounted corner punches.

Al armbars him over the top rope. Al step up enzugiri's him on the ropes. Al ddt's Ray for 2. Al chinlocks him.Ray chops him in the corner and pulls his throat down over the top rope, which sends Al out. Al's head is banged off the seats then Ray chairs him with a plastic lawn chair. Al's head is banged off the post. Al throws water at Ray and sends him into the post.

We go to break.

We return from break. Al grabs a chair and puts it between the ropes. Ray hits punches on him and bangs his head off of it. Ray hits kicks to the leg. Ray knee drops the leg and figure fours him. Al reverses it, Ray rope breaks and and Chicano comes out to hit Ray in the head with a chair. Al then gets a easy 3 count on a knocked out Ray.

Thoughts: What we got was fine. It was mostly brawling. It's a shame we had to have interference in the end as the match was starting to pick up. Chicano chairing Ray should lead to something down the line. We saw this match already on the 8/1 show.

Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says tonight's match is about 2 suck up's and one fighter who is real and honest. He says the two suck ups only live for attention in Xavant and Bryan. He says he arrived in PR alone and dominated without support as he has confidence others don't have. Tony says Bryan is the tough guy of WWC and has been champ multiple times. He says Xavant is the grand dove of PR and the current champ. He says if you put him in their era or any other era, he will make his name because that's how tough he is. He says he's a fighter. He says the triple threat won't be like the others. He says they won't make a fool of him and says the 2v1 thing ends tonight. He says he needs to win to keep the sport moving forward and says he's here to improve things. He says he has to be at the top of the mountain to do it. He says everything changes tonight and say everything is going in the direction it should. He then says to kiss the hand.

La Amenaza Bryan does a promo. He says he will be PR champ for the 3rd time tonight vs Xavant and tony Leyenda. He says he's tired of Xavant's ego and says he's small and big mouthed like a toilet. He says he will hit him where it hurts and take his title. He says Tony is the largest pigeon in PR. He says he's tired of seeing his face and seeing him say stupid things about PR. He says he will become the new PR champ tonight.

Xavant does a promo. He says he's at the point where he looks at past achievements like nostalgia. He says he will get the biggest win of his career when he beats 2 people tonight. He says his opponents are too busy making jokes. He says he respects Bryan's career but he's not on his level. He says he will give Tony the guianalleta. He says he wants Tony to give it his all. He says he will fight with all his heart and he triumphs. He says he will give his all and beat them because that's what heroes do.

We see clips of some of John Hawking's and Intelecto Cinco Estrellas past matches.

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says he won't compete with him but will make his anatomy break and take his mind over with sad and bitter feelings of failure. He  says then he can go on his own to walk and reflect in the mountains. He says after he beats him for the Caribbean Title, he will go back to being a fool. He says he's nothing like the most dominant fighter in Intelecto.

John Hawking does a promo. He says Intelecto is a dangerous opponent but he doesn't plan to lose the title. He says it's because the title doesn't just belong to him but the fans. He says he has a great responsibility to keep the title. He says he won't let him keep it and denigrate it.

We see clips of the Chicano vs Ray Gonzalez feud and see some of their promos on each other.

We see clips of the Zcion RT1 vs Lightning feud.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He asks if his fans are ready. He says we will see a war and a sea of blood in the classroom of death. He says it'll be the end of Lightning's story. He says Lightning came back a decade ago but he ran into a revolution that rose like foam. He says Lightning will regret every day of his life tonight. He says he will be waiting for him with open arms tonight. He says he has once chance to win the title. He tells him to give the last fight of his life because his legacy will be history tonight.

We see clips of the Eddie Colon vs Orlando Colon feud.

Eddie Colon does a promo. He says he doesn't know if PR say the documentary they did on TV. He invites us to come to the show because he has a line up for Orlando. He tells him the time for suffering and regret is over because he's here for revenge and he pays double.

The hosts then talk to close the show and shill tonight's event.

Overall thoughts
: We only had one new match here. One other match was shown, but we saw it last month. We had some new promos as well but not much else. There's nothing you need to see here and there's no real excuse for them re-showing matches when there's a bunch of stuff we haven't seen yet. I wouldn't recommend this one and would give it a 3 out of 10 overall. It wasn't good.

Juggalo Championship Wrestling 9/3/2026 JCW Lunacy Episode 98

Juggalo Championship Wrestling 9/3/2026 JCW Lunacy Episode 98

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/juggalo-championship-wrestling-8292026.html

Mark Roberts, Joe Dombrowski and Veda Scott are on commentary.

We see Team GCW arrive. Mac Davis interviews them outside. Gage says they are here to do whatever the f*ck they want. Brett says the ratings are through the roof and Slade has a sign with the words "Ratings" and an up arrow. Mathers tells Slade to get out of the way.

Kerry Morton comes in and tells them to get out. He says they aren't invited here anymore. Brett says Russo invited them and there's nothing Kerry can do. Kerry asks if they are going to whoop his @ss. Brett says he will end up on his @ss like the JWO, Mack and Tony if he doesn't leave. The JWO then shows up behind Kerry with weapons. Violent J says they should go. Brett says they are guests of Russo. Kerry says f*ck Vince Russo. They all then fight in the street and Team GCW backs off. Cogar shows off his switchblade. Brett says he will call Russo.

Thoughts: This was fun and well done. It felt like a real fight.

Facade vs Painful Paul

Fac ducks a lock up. Fac hits some kicks and is thrown in the corner. Fac spinning headscissors him into the buckles.  PP facekicks him. PP really drops him far and high from the gordbuster position. PP corner splashes him. PP side slams him and pulls him up on the pin attempt.

Fac hits leg kicks. Fac high kicks him. Fac springboard enzugiri's him then walks up the ropes and springboard enzugiri's him. Fac rope walk flying knees him for 2. Fac walks up the ropes, springboards and is caught with a chokeslam. PP pins him.

Thoughts
: It was a fun little squash here. PP's gordbuster was maybe the best I have ever seen and the finish also looked good.

The hosts talk about the show.

Mac Davis interviews Big Vito and Vincenzo. Mac says Sally Boy took liberties in Vito's match with Paul. Vito gets mad, grabs Mac and says he has all the best intentions. Mac brings up Sally drinking Faygo and Vito gets mad. Vito says he's espresso, not Faygo.

Dani Mo arrives with The Outbreak.

Mac Davis talks to Mosh Pit Mike and Mike is wearing Safari outfit and says he's Bigfoot Hunter Mike. He says we had a real life Sasquatch sighting last week. Mike says he will shoot Sasquatch with a blowdart gun. He says he will catch him and teach him to be the world's greatest wrestler. He tells Mac to meet him later to meet Bigfoot.

The Backseat Boyz complain about Violent J not booking them. J says he's been hearing this all day and says there's no shortage of out of work wrestlers looking for a spot. J says they are a force in JCW and all he hears is moaning. He says he will give them a match tonight and says they will face Kerry Morton in a 5 Minute Challenge. He says if Kerry has been a thorn in their sides and they want to get rid of him, now's the time. J says it will get rid of the thorn in their side but not the d*ck in their butt.

The Orange Phantom does a video. He says he's been climbing and shows photoshopped videos of him climbing things. He ays he even climbed on top of our mothers. He says he has one goal left an it's to climb to the top of JCW.

Dani Mo tries to teach The Outbreak how to pick up a juggalette and has them practice their smiles and whoop whoop's. Dani then tells Jacksyn to tell a juggalette she's sexy. Jack then goes up to girls and says nonsense. They run in fear. Dani says Jack is feeling rejection and he has to get used to that feeling.

Kerry Morton 5 Minute Challenge - Kerry Morton vs The Backseat Boyz (JP and Tommy Grayson)

If Kerry doesn't win in 5 minutes or less, he will be fired. Tommy has the long hair.

Tommy gyrates at KM then hits him from behind. KM double lariats The Boyz. He neckbreakers Tommy, forcing him to ddt JP. KM is double foot choked. JP back elbows KM. KM takes a double gordbuster and a double superkick. KM takes a pendulum basement dropkick from Tommy.

KM chops JP and sunset flips him. JP lariats him for 2. JP foot chokes KM and bangs his head off Tommy's foot. KM his punches on Tommy and dropkicks him. KM powerslams JP. KM flying forearms Tommy.

Tommy hits KM from behind and neckbreakers him for 2. KM gets his legs split and JP hits mounted shots on him. JP is pushed into Tommy on the buckles, crotching him. KM final cut's Tommy and pins him.

Thoughts: I don't like The Boyz losing 2v1 here, especially just in under 5 minutes. Someone had to lose here and neither result was going to be good.

Kerry tells Russo in the camera that it is one down and two to go.

We cut to the back. The Headbangers are beating down Choppa City and say they have something that belongs to them. They say they are here and are coming for the belts.

Mac Davis interviews Barnabas The Bizarre and HoKane. He asks about Bloodymania. Barn says he burned every bridge imaginable and HoKane is all he has left. Mac asks if he's having regrets and he does. He says he never thought this would spiral out of control. Mac says he's sorry for all of this and didn't want it to happen. HoKane grabs him, puts him up against the wall and calls him a p*ssy.

Joel Gertner does the intro for Josh Bishop with dirty jokes.

Special Ref - Mad Man Pondo: Caleb Konley and Krule vs James Storm and Josh Bishop

Cal wants to fight Storm. Cal boots him and punches him. Storm's head is banged off the buckles and Cal chops him. Storm hits punches and throws him. Storm kind of slingblades him. JB and Krule get in. They trade shots. JB chops him and hits some horrible punches that don't get close to hitting. JB boots Krule in the chest and Storm knee drops Krule in the chest.

Krule beats up Storm in the corner. Call pulls Storm down by the hair and Krule foot chokes Storm. Krule clubs on Storm's chest. Cal knocks JB off the apron with a punch. Krule chokes Storm on the apron and sends him into the rails.

Cal stomps Storm. Krule eye rakes Storm. Cal hits a top rope punch on Storm for 1. Cal chinlocks Storm. Storm hits kicks on Cal and spinning lariats him. Krule and JB go at it and lariat battle. JB headbutts him in the chest and corner splashes him. JB corner spears him then death valley drivers him for 2.

Storm facekicks JB off the apron into the rails. Cal knocks Storm off the apron and into the rails. Cal shoves Pondo and Pondo stops his dive. Cal tries to hit him and Pondo hits punches on him. They fight on the  stage. Storm single leg codebreakers Krule.

Shane Mercer comes out, bangs Storm's leg off the post then chairs it. Krule sitout double arm chokeslams Storm and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was average. Josh had some really bad strikes here. The ending was kind of funny with Pondo beating up Caleb on the stage instead of reffing the match.

Big Vito tells Vincenzo to go find Sally Boy in the back. Vinny goes looking for him. Painful Paul comes off the elevator. Vinny asks if he has a problem with him. Paul says VInny has a problem and he throws him in the elevator.

Blast from the Past

This week's match is Pogo The Clown vs Abdullah The Butcher. Jake Roberts ends up helping Abby. Pogo somehow pins Jake to win this. Jake ddt's the ref after.

Mac Davis talks to Sally Boy in the bathroom. MAc asks what it's like to be a juggalo. Sally says he wouldn't call himself one yet but says the Faygo juice at the juggalettes are better. Big Vito walks out of the bathroom stall and Sally tries to hug him. Vito asks if he's one of "them" now and says he's supposed to be family. He asks why he hit him in the back and asks him about drinking Faygo juice. Vito says he's tired of this. Painful Paul then gets  behind Vito and tells him to get his hands off of him. Vito says him and Sally should take out Paul. Sally backs out. Vito then says him and Paul should finish this once and for all. They go to fight and Vito kicks the camera man out.

"Big Al" Alice Crowley vs HoKane

Kane backs her up in the corner and chops her. Al armdrags her. Al kicks her in the knee then boots her in the head. Barnabas trips Big Al. Kane tries to kick Al but clearly misses. Kane pounds on her.

Kane back elbows her down and elbow drops her. Kane drops her with a shot and chokes her over the 2nd rope with her leg. Kane flying lariats her for 2. Kane bangs Al's head off the mat.

Al jawbreakers her and Kane germans her. Kane sentons her for 2. Al boots her out of the corner then lariats her down. Al back elbows her down and lariats her again. Al boots her down and saito suplexes her for 2. Kane uranage backbreakers her. Kane top rope sentons her for 2. Kane hits corner spears on her. Al sits up top and Kane flying facekicks her. Al victory rolls her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was rough early on but got better as they did bigger offense. It still was a little less than average. Kane is just still too green and not ready for this role.

Al sits on the ropes and Kane nails her after. Kane pounds on her. an chokes the ref. Barnabas pulls Kane off of her and yells at her. Kane headbutts him in the chest then knees him in the chest.

CoKane comes out and stares down HoKane. HoKane jumps on him and CoKane holds her in the air. CoKane then chokeslams her. CoKane raises Al's arm after.

Mac Davis and Mosh Pit Mike are outside looking for Bigfoot. Mike says he will find Bigfoot out here and says they will take him home. Bigfoot then shows up behind them. Mike bets Mac that he will find him. The camera man asks if they see what's behind them and they see Bigfoot. They then chase him as the show ends.

Overall thoughts: Facade/Paul was fun. I didn't like Kerry's handicap match as there was no good outcome there. Krule's match was average. The main wasn't that good. Storyline wise, we had some good stuff here though with the JCW/GCW feud, the hunt for bigfoot, Dani Mo teaching The Outbreak how to do things and the Vito/Sally stuff. A lot of people were not wrestling here or involved that much in the show. The show only went 1 hour and 22 minutes, making it one of the short editions of Lunacy in a while. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as the storylines carried this one as usual and it was alright overall.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 9/2/2026

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 9/2/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/maple-leaf-pro-wrestling-mayhem-8262026.html

We are in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Don Callis and Mauro Ranallo are our hosts.

Ace Austin vs Jonathan Gresham

JG offers a handshake and AA obliges. JG side headlock takeovers him, Ace goes for the headscissors and they stand off. JG takes him down and AA pushes him out of the ring with his feet. JG stalls outside.

They lock up and test strength. JG hammerlocks him. AA throws him out off of it. They do the headlock > headscissors spot. AA hits armdrags into an armlock. AA puts him on the apron and JG holds the ropes open for him. JG then clips him from behind.

We go to break and return. AA has a reverse figure four and JG ropebreaks. AA goes to run at him but falls down due to leg pain. AA leapfrogs and sells his leg. AA one-legged springboard crossbodies him for 2. AA helicopter kicks him off the ropes.

JG kicks him in the knee and sunset flips him. They trade pin attempts. They trade chops and forearms. JG takes off his wrist tape, the ref takes it and JG hits AA low. JG rolls him but is rolled into a bridge. AA pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. JG was more heelish than usual here. He worked Ace's leg. Ace squeaked out a win with a bridge pin while JG was trying to work the leg.

Psycho Mike talk in the mirror and says he kept telling himself to work harder and be patient. He says every time he gets his shot, it becomes someone else's moment. He says maybe he's just the guy in the background.

We get a video on Sinner and Saint. They say Travis Williams isn't neglected and can talk his way out of most situations. He says he will get you while your down if he can and says it's not the method, but the results. The voiceover guy says it's an odd pairing. The voiceover guy says they can be the best to ever do it. He says they belong nowhere and only trust each other. We then see them fall asleep at a cafe.

Jody Threat vs Alexia Nicole

They lock up. JT wristlocks her. AN tries to reverse it and JT side headlock takeovers her. AN headscissors her on the mat. JT side headlocks her. AN back elbows her then flying headscissors her. AN shotgun dropkicks her.

AN superkicks her and JT catches her hurricanrana. JT lariats her down then back elbows her down. JT pump kicks her and meteora's her from behind on the ropes. JT germans her. JT hits an F-5 and pins her.

Thoughts:  Jody won quick but Nicole got a decent amount in and had a nice showing here. It didn't get the time to be great and Jody won as expected.

Adam Copeland does a promo. He says he knows why Steve Maclin went to the US. Cope says he's been all over the world and says Steve is a tough man. He challenges him for the Maple Leaf Gardens show. He says if he's got the set, show up.

Steve Maclin interrupts the commentators. He asks who they can have a show called Mayhem and not have "Mr. Mayhem". He says Cope can't keep his name out of his mouth and he'll see him at Northern Rising if he wants it.

Michael Allen Richard Clark vs Zack Gowen

Mike does push up's and tries to get Zack to do one. Zack then rolls at him and chases him on all four's. Mike slides out and trips Zack. Zack low one-legged dropkicks him then leg drops him. Mike back body drops him. Zack cradles him off a suplex attempt.

Mike lariats him and stomps him. Mike does push up's on Zack's back and leg. Mike elbows him in the head. Zack boots him out of the corner. Mike misses a corner charge and goes into the post. Zack top rope moonsaults him and pins him.

Thoughts
: I don't think having Mike lose here was the right call. It was another shorter bout here and too short to be anything. Mike was in control of this one for most of it before getting put down.

Rohan Raja talks about Mexico. He says Mexico was a reminder and he had to prove who he was. He says he didn't lose the fight, just his way. He says Mexico gave him best. He tells any wrestler to come prove that they are the best.

The First Faction do a promo. Sheldon Jean says everybody wants a shot and every team thinks they can beat them. He says Sinner and Saint want a shot. He says it'll be better next week as 4 teams will be competing for a title shot and they ask if they really want to do this. He says they will be embarrassed and will face the people who run this place.

Interim MLP Canadian Title - Stu Grayson (c) vs Johnny TV

Stu waistlock takedowns him and rolls him for 1. Stu rolls him up for 2 then armdrags him. Stu goes up and over then misses a corner charge. JTV handstand kicks him from the apron. Stu sweeps him on the apron and slingshot swantons him there.

Stu jumps off the steps and misses. JTV tope tornillo's him. We go to break and return. Stu hits punches. JTV rolls through a sunset flip and running knees him for 2. JTV enzugiri's him. Stu boots him out of the corner. Stu hits shots on him and flying lariats him down. Stu diving ddt's him from the 2nd rope. Stu asai moonsaults but JTV gets his knees up.

JTV drops him with lariats. JTV leg lariats him. JTV takes a belly to belly overhead suplex then takes 2 more. Stu asai moonsaults him for 2. Stu TKO's him for 2. JTV dominators him then springboard enzugiri's him for 2. JTV hits a moonlight drive. JTV misses starship pain.

JTV is up top, Stu walks up the buckles and superplexes him. Stu flying pumping knees him. Stu hits a torture rack backbreaker on his knees and pins JTV.

Thoughts: I figured Stu would win here since he just won the title and is being featured. What we got was fine but nothing too memorable. I'm not sure if JTV losing a match like this so soon out of nowhere was good call though as MLP has limited names and he seemed like he was going to be pushed.

Stu gets on the mic after. He says the last time he was in the ring, Josh Alexander came out. He says Josh returning isn't the problem, he says Josh returned when he's not cleared to wrestle. He says if Josh wants to step on his moment, he better be ready to fight him. He says Josh wasted his time. He says he knows Josh will be looking for him and says he's easy to find as he's the champion in the ring.

Overall thoughts: The opener was alright. We had 2 short matches that didn't accomplish a ton, though Alexia Nicole had a decent showing. The main was also fine here. We got a few promos/videos in between here as well and some stuff was set up for next week. The show was okay overall but nothing must see. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.

WWE Evolve 9/2/2026

WWE Evolve 9/2/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/08/wwe-evolve-8262026.html

We are at the Performance Center. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Robert Stone and Blake Howard talk at ringside. They say both title pictures change tonight.

Sarah Schreiber then hypes the two fatal four-way's tonight. She then talks to Harlem LEwis at the VIP Lounge. Lewis says he wanted a front row seat to see who is next in the Harlem Violence World Tour.

Max Abrams comes out in a towel and some kind of ski mask. He says yes he did get work done. He says he saw some doctor in Miami and says Max is in the 99th percentile for bone density. He says you can say a lot about him but you can't say he's ugly. He tells everyone to put their smart phones on mog mode and ask, "Do I need help?". Max says the answer for the fans is yes and says to follow in his foot steps and get help. He says the doctor told him he is healing tremendously. He says he can't wait to show him the new him but until then, the x-factor is coming out. He says that guy will win the #1 contendership.

WWE EVOLVE Title #1 Contendership Fatal Four Way Match - It's GAL vs. Cutler James vs. Harley Riggins vs. CJ Valor

Gal nails Cutler then Cutler spears HR. Gal casadora codebreakers Cutler. Cutler takes a double flying shoulderblock from Valor and Gal. Valor and Gal taunt each other. HR claymore kicks Gal. HR and Cutler trade forearms.  HR back elbows him and is flipped with a lariat. They kind of mess up a spot where Valor spears Gal. Valor spears Cutler and dropkicks HR. HR superkicks Valor.

HR 2nd rope twisting swantons 2 people and takes a single leg dropkick from Gal. We go to break and return. Gal blue thunders HR for 2. Cutler pop up euros Gal. Cutler tilt-a-whirl gutbusters Valor. Cutler lariats HR down. Cutler airplane spins Gal while he giant swings Valor. Cutler lariats Gal down for 2. Cutler and Hr trade shots. HR basement dropkicks him.

HR flying knees Cutler. Valor spinebusters HR for 2. Gal lariats Valor over the top. HR 2nd rope twist of fate's Cutler but Cutler turns it into a sitout bomb. Gal springboard plancha's everyone outside. HR facekicks Gal outside. HR yells at Lewis at the VIP Lounge. They argue. HR shoves him and gets hit. Gal sends HR into the steps. Gal does a springboard move at Valor. Gal fireman's carry gutbusters Valor for 2 when Max Abrams pulls the ref out. Cutler facekicks HR and swinging backbreakers Valor. Cutler pins Valor.

Thoughts: It was a fun little four way here. Gal flew around a little and did some different stuff while Cutler used his power. They also built up a Lewis/Harley match off of this. This one worked.

Thoughts:
Zena had some rough moments here. I figured Luck would win and I was surprised to see Sky win instead. What we got was acceptable.

Lyons comes in the ring and holds her title up at Sky after.

Overall thoughts:
We had 2 new matches here only. Both got enough time. The men's match was fun and the women's match was acceptable. Skylar Raye winning the 4-way was a bit of a surprise. I kind of enjoyed Max Abrams' opening segment and The Mog Squad were kind of entertaining in their segment. They also set up next week's matches through those which was good. The show was fine overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.

EPW Wrestling Unleashed 8/29/2026 Episode #257

CJ then racks the ref. Cone shoves CJ from behind and slingshot cutters him. The ref is stuck on the 2nd rope from CJ putting him there. The ref moonsaults off the 2nd rope and then counts the pin. Cone wins.

Thoughts
: This was an unusual one with CJ really going after the ref, maybe even more so than his opponent. The finish was a new one too with the ref doing a flip off the 2nd rope and counting the pin after. This was a little awkward at times and could have been better.

Aaron Roberts is interviewed. Aaron says his ankle is as good as it will get. He says you can't put him down no matter how much you try. He says he came to town for Dorian Vain. He says he wants him at his best and says he got him p!ssed off. He says Vain has a problem and says the bad man has come to town.

We see clips of Hollywood Jimmy attacking a coach named Coach Booth at the high school. He says he will always be a loser like the high school team.

Jimmy says Dorian Vain is one of the greatest athletes and says Izzy Rotten is one of the toughest. He says he hired K-Swiss as his assistant and wants him to do the right thing. Swiss says the people are so dirty here, you don't even want to shake their hands. He says they will show them who The Order is. He then goes to say it's an executive order and Vain tells him not to overstep his bounds. Vain then tells Owens that he's only here because of Jimmy. He says the moment Owens steps out of line, he will take great pleasure in bouncing him out of here. He tells him to earn his keep and says he doesn't like him or trust him. He tells him to cut out the "self-made" stuff and says he's "made to order".

Vain says Marko Harris should be a afraid of him and that's why he's not champ anymore. Vain says they will hurt Aaron Roberts again and that's an executive order.

EPW Apex Title - Eli Knox (c) vs Xero vs Elijah Rose

They said Rose was just added. Knox faceshoves both opponents, poses and is double chopped down. Knox lariats Rose down. Xero walks up the ropes and diving armdrags. Rose hits a double baseball slide then Xero topes both opponents outside.

Thoughts
: I would have liked to have seen this get more time. It was acceptable. Xero looked good and Rose continues to show that he gets how to be a fiery face.

Zay Washington vs Ty Miller

Zay has The Culture Project with him. Ty gets distracted by them and is hit from behind. Ty rolls over Zay's back and flying headscissors him out. Ty tries to jump on him off the apron but is caught. Zay is sent into the post. Zay atomic drops him and sentons him for 2.

Ty is thrown out and Zay's buddies beat Ty up. Zay chokes Ty. Zay chops him in the corner. Ty spears him for 2. Zay pop up powerbombs him for 2. Zay hits shots to the spine. Ty back elbows him. Ty moonsaults over him then 2nd rope twisting springboard kicks him. Jabari Young get son the topes and Ty hits him. Ty then tope con hilos him and Enrico Sterdivant outside. Ty jumping flatliners Zay for 2. Ty runs at him, takes a spin kick then Zay hits his exploder slam on him. Zay pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright. They did some cuts here so I think we missed some stuff. But they had the idea right with the heels cheating, the face making his comeback and getting put down. Ty did a lot of flying here and Zay's offense looked good a usual.

EPW World Title - Aaron Roberts (c) vs Dorian Vain

AR limps to the ring. AR hits punches on DV and lariats him down. AR tries to slam him but can't due to his ankle. They go out and AR hits chops. DV is sent into the post. DV hits him from behind and hits punches. AR bangs DV's head off the steps. Hollywood Jimmy distracts the ref and then Elijah Owens goes after AR outside. DV then gets the edge on AR.

AR facekicks him. AR hits a corner splash then slams him. Izzy Rotten gets on the apron and AR hits him. Elijah brings a chair in and AR punches the chair into his face. DV then grabs the chain and chairs AR for the DQ.

Thoughts
: I figured something was up as they only had about 8 minutes and this was a big match. It was fine and made sense. DV worked the ankle all throughout and lost via DQ when it wasn't enough. AR sold and made his comeback just fine.

DV puts AR's ankle in a chair and DV stomps the chair.

Overall thoughts
: This was a little bit of a different show as this was not at the EPW Arena. CJ/Cone wasn't as good as it should have been. It had an unusual finish as well with the ref doing a  moonsault to make a count. The three-way was acceptable Zay/Ty was fine. The main was also fine but ended via DQ. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as it was alright enough

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/epw-wrestling-unleashed-8292026-episode.html

We are in Booneville, MS. Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are our hosts.

Eli Knox is interviewed by Sarah Blake. Eli says everyone says Moses Cain has gotten in his head and he's scared of him. He says he's big but it doesn't matter because he's the gold standard. He says if anyone should be scared, it should be little Moses Cain. He says he's the gold standard and he always walks out on top.

The hosts talk. K-Swiss interrupts them and demands they give him his job back. The interview Allen Pounds says he got a message from Downtown Bruno. He says Bruno said Swiss did a good job at the concession stands. He says he might have been #1 at one point but now needs to go clean #2 in the restrooms. Swiss says he's not doing it. Swiss then walks off, seemingly to go clean as he was told.

The Culture Project (Enrico Sterdivant and Zay Washington) vs Parental Advisory (Hunter Dabbs and Dakota Gage)

Dabbs and Zay shoulderblock each other. Zay cartwheels out of a headscissors. Dabbs dropkicks him. Gage hits a corner spear on Zay and fisherman suplexes him for 2. Zay tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Zay backsplashes Gage.

Enrico comes in and spinning enzugiri's Gage. Jabari Young chokes Gage from the outside. Enrico broski boots Gage for 2. Enrico germans Gage for 2. Enrico kicks him in the back.  Zay slams him. Gage catches Zay off the 2nd rope and spinning uranage's him.

Dabbs and Enrico get in. Dabbs springboards on him and hits shots in the corner. Dabbs then tope con hilos Zay outside.  Enrico is double superkicked by the faces. Gage flatliners Enrico. Dabbs goes up top and Zay crotches him up there. Gage knocks Zay off the apron. Enrico grounded chokes Gage and Gage is out. Enrico's team wins.

Thoughts
: The faces didn't connect that well on some of their moves and that hurt it. The Project needed a win to get established, but maybe it would have been better to build to this one a little more before it actually happened. They had some decent ideas here but it was so-so.

We see clips from a recent show in Mississippi.

EPW Apex Title - Eli Knox (c) vs Moses Cain

Hollywood Jimmy is with Eli.

They go face to face and MC shakes his head at him. Eli escapes a chokeslam and slaps him. MC lunges at him and Eli tries to slide out. Hollywood Jimmy and MC tug of war over Eli. MC hits punches on Eli in the corner.

MC chops him on the ropes. Jimmy sells the chop as much as Eli does. MC throws Eli then hits a powerslam him for 2. Eli eye rakes him. Eli drops him throat first over the top. Eli then top rope dropkicks him. Eli hits forearms in the corner.

Eli dances then MC running lariats him. MC boots him down then does a small chokeslam. MC fires up. Jimmy gets on the apron. Elijah Owens comes out and hits MC in the back of the head with a title belt. Eli then hits MC in the head with the title. Eli fameassers MC on the title and Eli pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fun a little match and they did what they were suppose to here. Eli had to cheat to get anywhere and Moses was a slight face here and destroyed him otherwise. Something like this was the only way Moses could believably lose here.

The announcers wonder if Elijah Owens has joined The Order after.

Dorian Vain vs Ty Miller

DV lunges at him and Ty ducks. Ty dropkicks him. Ty asai moonsaults him twice. DV goes out and Ty topes him. DV is on the floor and Ty stomps him from the 2nd rope. Back in the ring, DV buckle bombs him. DV underhook suplexes him then hits punches in the corner. DV foot chokes him.

DV throws him on a suplex. DV lariats him down then hits mounted shots. DV comes off the 2nd rope and is superkicked. Ty hits running lariats. DV tries to punch him but it doesn't hit. Ty gets put in a cobra clutch variation twice and the second attempt puts him out. Vain wins.

Thoughts
: It was a decent underdog match here. Ty did some nice flying before being put down as expected.

DV grabs the ref's belt after and chokes Ty with it.

K-Swiss is in the bathroom and is cleaning the toilet. He sees that he is being filmed and yells at the camera man. He then closes the door.

Wonder Boy vs James Ellsworth

JE nails him as he enters and sends him into the post and wall. JE then sends him into the steps. WB's head is banged off the commentary table. The bell then rings to start this. JE kicks and punches him.

JE hits punches on him. WB's head is banged off the buckles and JE slaps him around. JE's head is banged off the buckles. JE kneelifts him and throws him out. WB beats the count on and JE hits mounted punches on him. JE chinlocks him.

JE throws him down backwards. JE hits elbows to the chin. WB is thrown out. JE boots him outside. JE grabs one of the commentator's headsets and accuses WB of stealing his catchphrase. He rubs WB's face on the commentary table.

JE hits punches inside. WB punches him back and drops him with a shot. WB misses a top rope crossbody. JE superkicks him and pulls him up on the count. JE then sks for the mic and talks trash on it. He says WB doesn't belong in the ring with him. JE says no one in Mississippi can beat him. He says he will kick his teeth down his throat for good.

JE turns around and is superkicked in the gut. WB then pins him.

Thoughts
:
It was fine. James did everything he could do to get heel heat here and did the job. There was nothing wrong with this and the right man won.

Overall thoughts: The opener disappointed and was only so-so. Eli/Moses was what it should have been and Moses even got over some as a face. That was a fun bout. Ty Miller had a good showing against Dorian Vain and they had a decent match. The main was fine with James Ellsworth really trying to heel it up. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and I thought it was a fun show overall.

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/epw-wrestling-unleashed-8222026-episode.html

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are our hosts. We are in Booneville, MS

Raven Black is interviewed. She is told Diana Taylor told her she stole the title. She asks how she stole it. She says she got the 1-2-3 and walked out as champ. She says she can say what she wants, but she has the belt. She says when Diana comes after her belt and loses, she wants her gone.

Aaron Roberts is interviewed at ringside. He says he's not a hard man to find. He says if Hollywood Jimmy wants to take him out, he'll meet him in the ring right now. He says to bring as many people as he wants.

The Order (Dorian, Izzy, Eli and Jimmy) come out. AR nails Vain then is double teamed by Izzy and Eli. AR double crossbodies Izzy and Eli. Dorian tries to bring a chair in,  AR stands on the chair and goes to chokeslam him. Izzy chairs AR then Dorian is double teamed. Dorian jumping flatliners AR. AR gets his leg pillmanized. We go to break.

We return from break and the beatdown continues with AR getting a chair chaired into his ankle. AR's boot on that ankle has been taken off as well. They then chair it more. Dorian pounds on AR.

We go to break again and the refs try to help Aaron up. AR tries to get up and can't. Aaron says The Order just paid their debts and he's coming for their @sses. Aaron then has to be helped out.

Jabari Young vs Shawn Aries

JY nails him from behind before it starts. SA hits punches and J back elbows him. JY takes an enzugiri out of the corner. SA hits flying euros. SA rolls him into a kick and standing moonsaults him. JA topes him outside.

Thoughts: It was rushed but it was full of action and they went at it real fast here. I liked what we got and it was interesting.

JY tries to hit him after but SA ducks. DA then runs into JY's buddies outside. JY's buddies then talk to him in the ring.

Eli Knox looks in his fridge at home and Moses Cain shows up behind him...or so he thinks. Eli gets scared and Moses isn't behind him.

Elijah Owens vs Isiah Cone

Cone wristlocks him and EO pulls on his hair. Cone chops him in the corner. Cone goes up and over then armdrags him into an armlock. EO hits shots to the gut then Cone running facekicks him. Cone goes up top and is knocked down.

EO stomps him and stands on him. EO hits him in the gut and falcon arrows him for 2. EO waistlocks him and Cone elbows out. Cone forearms him down and spin kicks him. Cone michinoku drivers him for 2.

Jabari Young's crew comes out. Jabari gets on the apron and Enrico Sterdivant sends Cone into the post. EO hits doi fives on Cone and pins him.

Thoughts: Jabari's crew coming out to interfere was surprising. EO picks up another win due to luck essentially. What we got up to the finish was going fine.

EPW Women's Title - Raven Black (c) vs Diana Taylor

Rav misses lariats and takes a single leg dropkick. DT misses a corner splash. Rav bulldogs her. DT jawbreakers her and side slams her for 2. Rav samoan drops her for 2. Rav legdrops her but DT no sells it. DT gets up and leg lariats her for 2. Rav hits her in the gut and spinebusters her for 2.

They both kind of go for spears/flying tackles and collide in mid-air. Rav grabs a chain. The ref takes it from her. Rav then grabs another chain and nails DT with it. Rav reverse curbstomps her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was average to acceptable. I didn't expect Diana to win here and she didn't. I'm not sure if that stipulation Raven talked about in the interview is actually happening though as the announcers didn't really mention it. There were a couple of moments in this where it could have been a little cleaner.

Wonder Boy is interviewed. He says he wants to prove that he can be the champion for the fans. He says the things that have happened with Mike Anthony lately as made his confidence take a hit. He says a wise man once said that any man with two hands has a fighting chance.

James Ellsworth comes out. He says he's a television legend and a future WWE Hall of Famer. He says he won't be disrespected by a bum stealing his lines. He says the line about anyone having a fighting chance with two hands is his line. He says Wonder Boy isn't a hero but is a loser like the fans. He says he will show him what a loser he is when he kicks his teeth down his throat next week. Wonder Boy says he's on.

The announcers tell us Cody James is 100% healthy and off concussion protocol.

EPW Tag Titles - The Initiative (Trace Lee Hunt and Jason Genesis) (c) vs The Blacklist (Cody James and Chris Styles)

Arynanne is with The Initiative.

The heels get hit from behind. Cody lariats Jason down hard. Aryn grabs Chris outside and eye rakes him. Chris is sent into the post and steps. Coyd clubs on Jason and headbutts him. Hunt nails Cody from behind and Jason boots Cody in the head. Cody is double suplexed for 2.

Hunt hits two suplexes on Cody, russian legsweeps him and Jason slingshot asai moonsaults Cody. Jason does a trapezius hold on Cody then slaps him. Cody sends Jason into his partner.

Chris comes in and slingshot plancha's Hunt. Chris sweeps Jason on the apron. Hunt drops Chris face first on the apron. We go to break and return. Jason knee drops Chris on the back of the neck.

Chris is snapmared into a running boot for 2. Hunt stomps him then dropkicks him for 2. Jason is flapjacked onto Chris. Jason runs into a boot from Chris in the corner. Chris ddt's Jason over the 2nd rope. Cody tags in and he hits running lariats on Hunt. Cody corner meteora's him then helluva kicks him.

Hunt is held in the air for a ddt. The ref tugs over a chair with the heels. The ref goes down and DQ'd The Initiative.

Thoughts: It's a shame we didn't get a clean finish but it was a nice bout otherwise. These guys really beat the crap out of each other and Jason was pretty inspired here.

Jason throws a chair at Chris' head after. Cody facekicks Jason over. Hunt olympic slams Cody. Cody is tied up in the ropes but Parental Advisory come out to make the save.

Overall thoughts: We started out with a decent angle with Aaron Roberts getting injured by The Order. Young/Aries was rushed but I liked it. Owens/Cone had a dirty finish but it continues Owens' streak of getting lucky wins. It was fine. The women's match was average to acceptable. The main event was the best match on the show. The two teams beat each other up good and Jason Genesis had a good night. We did get a DQ finish on that, but it should lead to something. The show was fine overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
