Abel Durant and Axel Cruz are our hosts.

We see some clips from the Anniversary show to start. The mayor of San Juan, PR, gives an award to Victor Jovica.

The hosts talk and shill the next live event.

Special Ref: Orlando Toledo - Fans are the Lumberjacks - El Informante and Joe Bravo vs Pelayo Vazquez and El Paparazzi

We join this in progress. Info throws Papa out. Papa throws Info out and Info gets whipped with belts. Joe standing dropkicks Papa for 2 then he chinlocks him. Papa elbows Joe in the gut and thesz presses him. Toledo is too busy arguing with Pelayo to count the pin attempt.

Info and Joe stomp Papa while Toledo isn't looking. Joe chinlocks Papa then chokes him with a towel. Joe clubs on Papa. Papa facebusters him. Pelayo tags in. He throws his shirt at Info. Pelayo hits punches on Info then back body drops him. Pelayo throws Info out and the fans whip Info with belts.

Pelayo springboard 2nd rope forearms Info but Toledo argues with Papa instead of counting the pin. Toledo shoves Pelayo argue as they argue. Pelayo throws him out and the fans whip Toledo with belts. Toledo runs to the back to escape the fans.

Joe misses a corner charge. Pelayo sunset flips Info and Papa pump kicks Info over. Another ref ocmes out and counts the pin for Pelayo on Info.

Thoughts
: We only saw some of it but what we saw was fun. The fans had a good time whipping the heels. Pelayo did an excellent job as a face here and looked full of fire. The heels lost as they almost always do in these matches.

El Hostil Jovan does a promo. He says Brandon The Skater mentioned his father the last time they met. He says he won't forget the disrespect he showed him. Jovan says he'd like to know why Brandon wanted a title match as he has shown he's the true Jr. champ many times. He says he will see him on 7/18 and will show him why he's the champ.

Brandon The Skater does a promo. Brandon says he's the best junior in PR. He says they know each other and he hopes he enjoyed his reign, because no matter how long he holds the title, he's the best junior. He says it's Jovan's problem if he doesn't like it.

Orlando Toledo and Lightning talk. Toledo says the games are over and says Zcion is the Universal champ. Toledo says something about Lightning having the green light.

WWC Tag Titles - Los Matadores Celestiales (Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe) (c) vs El Aura Perfecta (Amaddeo Sole and Tony Leyenda)

We join this from the start. All 4 trade shots. Lou and Sole take hiptosses. Lou and Sole avoid dropkicks then they get pulled out. Mike punches both outside. OB top rope flip dives the heels outside. Mike punches Sole.

Sole calls for a timeout and Mike hits more punches. Mike drops Lou with a punch. Tony Leyenda is with Sole and Lou and he trips Mike. Sole lariats Mike for 2. Lou headbutt drops Mike twice then chokes him. Lou chinlocks Mike on the ropes. Sole stomps on Mike and hits punches.

Mike fires up and hits chops. Sole throws Mike out then topes him. Tony Leyenda backdrops Mike on the apron. We go to break.

Lou Forza does a promo. Lou says he's aware that Nice and Benabe beat them once but says he and Sole won the war. Lou shows off his newly won tag title. Lou says he knows Nice and Oscar will get their rematch but says the ending will be the same. Lou says they will show that they have the perfect aura and create the perfect moments.

John Hawking does a promo. He says everyone knows Lightning's achievements. He says he's a strong opponent but you are wrong if you think Lightning will beat him. He says he's defending all of the people in the Caribbean and says the title stays with him in the WWC.

We see Orlando Toledo talk to Tony Leyenda, Amaddeo Sole and Lou Forza. Toledo says they have an important role here. Toledo says he doesn't know what's going on with Eddie Colon. He  tells Tony to keep an eye on them and to bring the titles home. He says he's upset with the Informantes. Sole says he can trust in them. They then do a cheer and pound fists.

We see Zcion RT1 tying his shoes in the back and we see Lightning watching. An Informante is filming this.

We return to the match. Tony throws Mike in and Sole gets a 2 count on Mike. Lou stomps Mike. Lou is up top and Mike 2nd rope superplexes him. Lou and Mike tag out. OB hits punches on Sole then flapjacks him for 2. 3 of the 4 end up going down with Lou being the last man standing. Nice spinebusters Lou.

Tony distracts OC and OB spears Mike on accident. Axel Cruz says it was on purpose. Lou flatliners OB then Sole pedigrees OB. Sole pins OB.

Thoughts: We had some segments during a break here but I think we saw almost all of this match. Sole and Tony winning was an upset but WWC has a small tag division, Los Inmortales vs Nice/Benabe had been done to death and the company likes Sole. Sole and Lou winning the tag titles wasn't that much of a shock. What we got was acceptable and it was just nice to see the full match. I like Mike Nice a lot as he does good promos and is good at making babyface comebacks.

Tony Leyenda celebrates with the heels after and Axel Cruz says the heels won fair and square.

La Guerrera Amazona does a promo. She says she has to be on the lookout as everyone wants her WWC Women's Title. She says she hopes Kamila does the right thing. She says Kamile knows what she is doing and asks her not to mess with her. She says this is Sai's opportunity to prove herself. She tells Amalbert to do her job.

Joe Bravo does a promo. Joe says he feels close to the level he should be at. He says he's facing two wrestlers who look like wrestlers in Bryan and Xavant. He says he doesn't doubt their abilities, but doubts thier maturity and mental capacity. He says Bryan spits on himself when he talks and says Xavant lives in a fantasy world where he is the hero of justice. Joe says there's no one who can represent PR better than him. He says he will leave the ring with the PR title. He says he will shut Bryan's mouth and bring Xavant down from his superhero fantasy, fair or foul.

We see more of Lightning staring at Zcion RT1 from behind through Informante's cam.

Abel Durant shows us clips from the Anniversary Show.

- Alberto El Patron misses a dropkick on Xavnt and Xavant AA's him to win.

- We see clips of Sai Perez arriving in WWC. La Tigresa and La Guerrera Amazona are in the ring. Sai says they tried to bury her and forget the legacy of the Perez family. She says we have the past in La Tigresa and the past also in La Guerrera Amazona, but she says she's the present and future of WWC. She says she came here to take what belongs to her in the WWC Title.

- We see clips of The Colon's vs Bryan and Chicano. Eddie is busted open and slaps Chicano. Eddie tries to spear him on the ropes but knocks Carlito off the apron and into the dumpster. Chicano superman punches Carlito into the dumpster. Bryan punches Eddie as he stands up. The Colon's have the dumpster closed on them and Chicano/Chicano win.

- We see clips of Orlando Colon vs Ray Gonzalez and I do mean, just clips. Chicano ends up hitting Ray with a chair on accident when aiming for Carlito and he costs Ray the match. Ray is pinned.  Chicano then chairs Ray on purpose. Eddie talks in the ring with Carlito, Orlando and Chicano in there. Eddie says he's the greatest and Carlito backcrackers Eddie. Carlito, Orlando and Chicano now appear to be a group.

Thoughts: I expected Bryan and Chicano to win due to them being the faces. I don't really understand why Chicano would fight Carlito in a dumpster match then join up with him right after. Carlito turning on Eddie is a problem because they are brothers and that story is always hard to pull off. I'll give it the old "wait and see" but they are going to need some major explanations to sell me on this.

Zcion Rt1 does a promo. He says he promised the fans and now he's the champ. He says they will celebrate big next Saturday (he means the 18th though). He says the story between him and either Lightning or Intelecto Cinco Estrellas isn't over. He asks how he can be controlled and dominated. He says that person will live in his own hell. He tells him that he will be living in his own hell. He says he isn't coming alone to the match as he will have fans on his side.

Edide Colon is on the phone. He calls Andrade El Idolo. He says he needs his help and will pay him double. He says things didn't go his way at the Anniversary show and says Orlando, Chicano and Carlito will regret what they did. He tells Idolo to call back as soon as he can. He says Chicano is screwed.

Chicano does a promo. He asks if Andrade El Idolo knows what he is getting himself into. He says he, Carlito and Orlando are evolving wrestling in PR. Chicano says Idolo's flying and strong style is good, but he dominates those area's here. He says he will give him a week to reconsider the match. He says he has beaten Xavant too to become Universal champ and tells him to think things through. He says evolution separates the legends from the forgotten.

We see Zcion RT1 celebrating his title win with his dad. His dad said he told him he was going to win. RT1 heads to the bathroom and Lightning follows him. Lightning hits him from behind and bangs his head off the sink. Lightning takes off the bandage on his head, hits him in his cut and makes him bleed again. RT1 is laid out on the floor and Lightning leaves.

Axel and Abel talk to close the show. They hype up the next show.

Overall thoughts: This is the show we should have had last Sunday. We got some clips and matches from the Anniversary show and we got some angles and promos to set up the next show. I was also pleased that we got a full match and some of another match. They basically did what they were supposed to do here, but the one place they failed is that they showed the advertisements for the next show before some of the clips of the Anniversary show were shown. So, we already knew what happened without seeing it, basically defeating the purpose of it. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was a much better show than usual. This was okay and one of the better WWC shows as of late.

NWA Powerrr 7/4/2026

NWA Powerrr 7/4/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/nwa-powerrr-6272026.html

Joe Galli, Danny Dealz and Tim Storm are on commentary.

Joe Galli welcomes us to the show with The Slimeballz. Sage wishes everyone a 4th of July. Rant asks Joe for a kiss and Joe says no.

Alex Taylor vs Tony Leyenda

Tony's from WWC and is making his NWA debut. I'm pretty sure Idol has been scouting WWC on his trips to Puerto Rico as Elena Negroni also got a tryout with the NWA recently.

AT takes down Tony and spins on his back. AT says he might be the greatest. Tony waistlock takedowns him and slaps him around in the back of the head. They block each others hiptosses and AT lariats him. AT hits corner spears.

Tony suplexes Alex for 2. Tony hits mounted corner punches. AT escapes and backcrackers him. AT hits mounted shots and foot chokes him. AT pulls Tony's neck forward. Tony 2nd rope superplexes him.

Tony hits punches and hits flying forearms. Tony backdrops AT then neckbreakers him for 2. AT spinning fisherman neckbreakers him then cradle shocks him to win.

Thoughts: AT won as expected. Tony is usually heel so it was interesting to see him work face for a change. He's better as a heel though. It was short and nothing too special.

Kyle Davis interviews Mims, The Pope and the two guys in white masks in the ring. Pope says he has done everything right and it has gotten him nowhere. He says now, they are entering a new phase and era. He says him and Mims aren't just walking in the light, they are walking with the light. Pope says it's not an invitation but it's putting everyone on notice. He says we will all walk with the light on this day forward. Pope says the masked guys are The Light. Kyle gives the mic to Mims to talk but Mims rejects it.

Mims and The Pope vs Carnage and Cristiano Argento

Pope and Mims attack from behind. CA's head is banged off the buckles. CA forearms Pope. Carn pounds on Mims. Pope hits Carn from behind and Carn no sells it. Mims clips Carn and Pope step up enzugiri's Carn.

Mims headbutts Carn down. Mims hits Carn in the gut. Carn takes a double back elbow. Pope elbow drops Carn. Pope boots Carn in the head. Pope rams him Carn in the corner and Mims/Pope boot Carn there.

Carn is hit with a double suplex. Pope knee drops Carn then cheap shots CA on the apron. Pope and Mims stomp Carn. Mims boots Carn. Mims charges into Carn and is kicked. CA comes in and hits lariats on his opponents. CA slams Mims. CA backdrops Mims. Pope spinebusters CA.

Pope uppercuts CA and drops him. Mims flying double knees CA from behind. Pope tags in Mims. Mims goes for the pin but CA is not the legal man. Carn then dropkicks Mims and pins Mims.

Thoughts:
The finish was dumb as Damage tagged in, the heels didn't know and tried to pin Argento when he wasn't legal. I still don't really get what they are doing with Pope and Mims here. Even kayfabe wise, this partnership is absolutely not working and since these two originally didn't like each other to begin with, it doesn't make sense for them to keep it going. Carn and CA are a makeshift team until Damage returns and I was surprised to see them win here. This may be CA's first win ever here. Carnage is a decent talent and him getting to do anything is basically an upgrade. This wasn't that good.

PB Smooth, Hayden Backlund and Pastor C-Lo do a promo. PB asks if we know who King Trevor is. PB says he beat Trevor in under 5 minutes. PB says they will eradicate his family tree.

TV-MA do a promo. Tiff says they are part of the 0.0001% and it makes her the best at everything. She says she's the women's champ and says Markova is egotistical. They talk about Markova and her partner. Tiff says she was TV champ first. She says Markova doesn't get a 1v1 but gets her and Gretta.

El Dragon Nihan is interviewed by Kyle Davis in the ring. Kyle asks where Brandon McCord is. Nihan says he told Thom Latimer but he didn't want to listen. He says not every story has a happy ending. He says Thom will be a slave to fear and pain and the past. He says Thom will worship at his feet. He says Thom called him a brother and friend but didn't know him. Nihan says he showed him who he is and says he will soon show all of us who he is. He then talks in Spanish.

It's Me...The Carson Drake Experience

Richard Adonis is interviewed. Drake asks about his loss to The Pope last week. Adonis says The Light cost him the match. He says it's not done with them. Drake says he feels like people look up to him here. Drake says the most important skill in wrestling is to be well read. He insults him and says he doesn't seem rich despite being named Rich. Adonis tells him to put his money where his mouth is and face him in the ring. Drake says he accepts. He says some guests are so unruly.

Damian Fenrir vs Vin Parker

They lock up and trade waistlocks. Vin armdrags DF twice. Vin side headlocks him. DF dropkicks him. DF gorilla presses him but Vin escapes. Vin flying headscissors him and poses. Vin monkey flips him but DF lands on his feet and poses. Vin upkicks him and rolls him up for 2.

Vin backslides DF for 2. DF does a delayed suplex on him for 2. Vin clubs on DF. DF chops him. Vin spinning sitout torture rack bombs him for 2. DF headflips out of a headlock driver. DF knees him in the head. DF hits splash mountain on him and pins him.

Thoughts: DF won as expected. I was fine with this, though I didn't like the headflip out of the headlock driver. These are two young guys who have some potential and have bright future's ahead of them. It's nice to see DF get featured here some as he's worthy of it. This was acceptable.

Natalia Markova and her partner does a promo for tonight's main event. Nat says she will choose a good stipulation when she faces Tiffany Nieves. She says Tiff has no chance against her in a fair fight.

Mims, Pope and The Light are in the back. Mims asks what happened out there. Mims said Pope had the match won and asks why he tagged him in. Pope says he wants Mims to get the glory as he doesn't need it. Mims says Pope told them this was a team effort and they were doing this together. Mims says the light only shines on Pope and asks if it will ever shine on him. Pope says they will calm down and talk about it later as they are family.

I will not be covering the main event unfortunately and I apologize for that. Natalia Markova and Tiffany Nieves both could get their stipulation of choice for their upcoming title match if they won. Nat wanted a lights out match and we were told Tiff wanted a 2/3 falls match. Gretta ended up getting her team DQ'd by choking Markova which was pretty stupid. The fight continued after the bout and Gretta chokeslamed Markova through a table.

During the break in the main event, we went to the NWA Taining Seminar. Silas Mason says Kerry Morton will be here next week. He says Kerry stabbed him in the back and will have to pay. Bryan Idol says he hears him. He says he can't wait to get his hands on Mike Mondo in the back. He says Mike is always in his business and he wants to beat him to end it. Silas says it's time they handle their business. Mike Mondo and Aron Stevens were watching this whole convo behind Idol.

Magic Jake Dumas also did a video during the break in the main. He talks about walking with old gods and ruined cities. He says we will all die one day and he will deserve it. He says everyday will end but says may magic rain forever. He says may the sun never rise again. The graphic says he returns next week.

Overall thoughts: Of what I saw, it was the usual NWA Powerrr episode. Most of the matches were random and we had some random wrestlers here as usual. None of the matches were that great. We had some storyline developmental at least. Taylor/Leyenda was short. We had a dumb finish in the Mims tag match. Fenrir/Parker was acceptable and I didn't see the main. I wouldn't recommend this one and would give it a 4 out of 10 overall. It was a little below average.

Ring of Honor on HonorClub 7/3/2026

Ring of Honor on HonorClub 7/3/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-6252026.html

Caprice Coleman & Ian Riccaboni are on commentary.

Hook vs Nick Comoroto

Hook shoves him. Nick backs him up in the corner and clean breaks him. Hook takes him down. Nick trips him and Hook hides between the ropes. Hook hits punches and chops on Nick. Nick exploders him . Nick skins the cat when thrown out. Nick uppercuts Hook.

Hook trips Nick. Hook exploders him for 2. Hook hits gut punches in the corner. Hook flying double axe handles him and sentons him for 2. Nick double underhook suplexes him. Nick corner splashes him and powerslams him for 2. Nick misses a senton and Hook does red rum on the mat. Nick submits.

Thoughts: The big man would usually be favored in a match like this, but in AEW, the big guy always loses. It wasn't that good as  Hook had trouble throwing around Nick and most of his offense is suplexes. Hook won in a shorter match here.

We get a Mark Sterling/Premier Athletes video.

Mark Sterling talks before his team's match. He puts over his crew except for Beef. He says he nominated his team for a Noble Peace Prize for doing charity work by teaming with Beef. He says that's miracle work. He then tries to get the crowd to join in on the cheer.

BEEF & The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) vs. Aaron Dallas, Keagan Garland & LJ Cleary

KG is the son of Scotty 2 Hotty and they play 2 Cool's theme for him.

Beef throws KG down by the wrist. KG rolls and headflips out of a wristlock then reverses it on Beef. Beef then reverses that. KG uses the ropes to flip out and Beef slams him. Beef cartwheels and dropkicks KG. KG clubs on Beef in the corner. KG corner euros Beef. LJ comes in and hits punches on Beef.

LJ elbows Beef in the back of the neck. LJ takes double team punches in the corner. LJ hits punches on Ari. Nese spin kicks LJ in the face. LJ is held in the air for a ddt. Beef is tagged in, though Nese doesn't want to do it, Beef top rope splashes LJ and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was a short squash. They had a lot they could have done with Beef and The Athletes here, but didn't explore the concept much at all. I'm fine with putting Beef with The Athletes as it has a lot of potential for entertainment, but how over it gets depends on how much they focus on it. It's not clear why The Athletes are even teaming with Beef when they don't like him.

We see Athena talking about Maya World at Forbidden Door. She says she belongs at the back of line.

Hyan & Maya World vs. Robyn Renegade & Trish Adora

TA shoves Hyan. Hyan back elbows her, bangs TA's head off her knee and snap suplexes her. Hyan rolls TA then TA cradles her. Maya superkicks TA. Maya and Hyan do stereo low topes outside. TA hits flying corner attacks. Hyan spinning headscissors Maya into TA in the corner.

RR comes in and throws a piece of clothing at TA. Maya flying headscissors RR then spinning heel kicks her. Maya headflips up. TA hits Hyan from behind, sending her into the ropes. TA knees Hyan in the face then kicks her in the back.

TA pulls Hyan's arms back and sits on her back. RR boots Hyan while she's in that position then spanks herself. TA tries to block Hyan's tag and fails. Maya comes in and top rope double dropkicks her opponents. Maya spin kicks and pump kicks RR. Maya slingblades RR.

Maya rolls RR into a double stomp for 2. Maya 2nd rope moonsaults RR for 2. Maya is tripped and RR rolls up Hyan for 2. RR forearms Hyan down. Hyan running boots RR down. TA death valley drivers Hyan. Maya claymore kicks TA. RR twisting suplexes Maya. Hyan spears RR.

Hyan and RR hockey fight. RR superkicks her. Hyan takes a superkick + suplex combo for 2. Maya cutters TA. Maya germans RR. Maya shining wizards RR and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a little hard to follow as the action got fast near the end. It was alright and not boring here. Hyan had some nice spears. I don't know if or when Robyn has last won a match here.

The Premier Athletes and Beef are interviewed. Beef is asked about picking up the win. Ari interrupts Beef before he can answer and says it's time Beef pulled his weight here. Nese says they fought 3 of the best up and comers in ROH and won. Mark says they won 2v3 basically. Mark tells Beef to say they want a 6-man title shot and says it was the worst promo ever. Mark asks Ari to show him how its done, then Ari says the same thing. Nese says that's how you act like a Premier Athlete. Nee then goes to do the Athletes Rule line but Beef jumps the gun.

We get a Lio Rush video with him goofing around with the ROH TV Title.

Action Andretti vs Alex Reynolds

AA facekicks him after a handshake then hits mounted shots on him. AA chops AR in the corner. AR takes a stun gun and AA backflips into a stunner on him for 2. AR lariats AA over the top rope. AR topes AA outside.

AR hits corner lariats on AA then drops him with a lariat for 2. AR hits mounted punches on AA. AR hits forearms on AA. The ref separates them and AA knocks AR out of the ring. AA asai moonsaults AR outside. AR sends AA into the rails.

AA slams AR. AA springboard tornillo sentons AR. AR rolls him up for 2 and AA boots him in the gut. AR hits a big forearm on AA. AA sends him into the ropes face first. AA does a pumphandle side slam for 2.

AR spin kicks AA in the gut. AA is thrown out and AR facekicks him off the apron. AR double stomps AA off the apron then sends him into the rails. AR top rope double stomps AA's back for 2. AR rolls him up for 2. AA pump kicks and superkicks AR. AA falcon arrows him for 2. AR running lariats AA. AR double underhook powerbombs him for 2. AA eye rakes him on the buckles then stunners him over the top rope. AA springboard 450's AR and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an alright bout here. AA's stunner over the top rope was an interesting move as AR was seated on the 2nd buckle. Alex was fine as usual here and it had a decent bit of action for being a lower level match.

AA running facekicks AR after. AA grabs a chair and John Silver chases AR away. AR argues with the fans. Lio Rush comes out with his umbrella. AA charges at him and but Lio tries to poke him with the umbrella. AA leaves as The Dark Order back up AA as well.

Mance Warner does a video. He says he's here to punch you in the face and beat people down. He says he's scarred up and beat up but always comes back up and hits the pay window. Mance says ROH puts him in Pure Rules matches but he doesn't know any rules. He says he's in ROH to punch people in the face and hit the pay window.

Anthony Ogogo vs. Kiran Grey

AO side headlocks KG then shoulders him over. KG double throat thrusts him and legsweeps him. KG takes a pop-up drop on the ropes and AO running euros him. AO stomps KG in the corner then powerslams him for 2.

AO corner lariats KG. AO back body drops KG. AO stomps him in the corner and back elbows him down. KG elbows AO in the back of the neck. KG hits running lariats then flying euros him. AO release germans him then corner euros him. AO running lariats him. KG pump kicks AO for 2.

AO olympic slams KG. AO hits a big knockout punch. KG is gasping for air on the mat and the ref stops it.

Thoughts: It was a squash. AO won as expected here. It wasn't too much of note. KG's a little unorthodox and rough and it didn't quite work here.

Caprice Coleman does a sit down interview with The Infantry and Trish Adora. The Infantry talk about them hosting a July 4th ROH show a while back. Dean says he was in the US Navy. Trish says she was in the Army. Bravo says he was in the Marine Core.

Coleman says the people don't respect The Infantry the way they deserve. Bravo says they are dangerous and you can't make it like they did without rigidness. Bravo leaves the interview and grabs a US flag. He then has his buddies hold it too. Bravo says they have intel on every wrestler in AEW and ROH and are ahead of everyone.

Cassie Lee vs. Zayda Steel

Zy offers a handshake and Cass accepts without much enthusiasm. Cass starts laughing. She backs up Zay in the corner. Cass side headlocks Zay then side headlock takeovers her. Zay headscissors her then waistlock takedowns her. Zay then paintbrush slaps her neck.

Zay backslides her for 2. Zay la magistral's her for 2. Zay curcifixes her for 2 and is shouldered over. Zay armdrags her twice and flying snapmares her.

Cas goes out and Jessie McKay shields her. Red Velvet backs up Jess. Cass spinning high kicks Zay. Cass flails on Zay outside. Cass bangs Zay's head off the buckles and stomps her in the corner.

Cass clubs on Zay. Cass then sits on her back with a chinlock. Zay's head is banged off the buckles. Zay is sent into the buckles and goes down. Cass knees Zay in the face then fisherman suplexes her for 2. Cass poses and Zay rolls her up for 2. Zay hits a twisting unprettier and pins her.

Thoughts:
Both girls had a shot at winning here which was nice. Cass was a lot better than usual as she cut out some of the stuff she doesn't hit well and stuck to stuff she could do well. It was just average but it was much better than the disaster it could have been.

Action Andretti does a promo. He says he should be ROH TV champ. He says he took his frustration out on Alex Reynolds tonight and says he'd be in a hospital bed if it wasn't for John Silver. He says Lio got in his way too. He says he will beat Lio with his umbrella the next time he gets in way and will make sure his reign as champ comes to an end.

ROH Tag Titles - LFI (The Beast Mortos and Sammy Guevara) (c) vs Mistico and Mascara Dorada

This is from CMLL 6/26. Mist had angel's wings on for his entrance.

They take a while to get going. MD armdrags SG then flying headscissors him out. Mort pounces MD then Mist top rope diving headscissors Mort. Mist and MD hit stereo topes outside. Mort shoulders the faces over. SG tornillo dives the faces outside. Mist is thrown into the rails.

Mort slaps MD in the corner. Mort pop up samoan drops Mist. Most slaps Mist down. Mort enzugiri's Mist in the corner and SG flying knees Mist. SG grabs his phone and films himself stomping Mist. SG rips Mist's mask and stomps him in tree of woe. Mist is bridged for a top rope double stomp from Sami.

MD is double teamed. MD is popped up and he hurricanrana's SG off of it. Mist runs the ramp and MD pops him up into a flying headscissors on Mort. Mist superkicks SG. Mist and MD go for dives but the heels run.

MD boots SG in the gut, goes up top, flips into the ropes and armdrags him. Mort is sent into SG. MD flying headscissors Mort and armdrags SG off of it. MD tilt-a-whirl headscissors Mort out.

Mist runs the ropes, Mort kicks him and the heels double team Mist. Mist pushes Mort into SG then Mist 619's SG. Mist springboard diving headscissors Mort then flying headscissors SG. Mist satellite headscissors Mort out. SG flying pumping knees Mist and superkicks MD.

SG hits a GTH on Mist. MD hurricanrana's SG off the 2nd rope for 2. Mort top rope gorilla press slams MD. SG top rope swantons MD for 2. MD poisonrana's Mort. SG springboard diving cutters MD. Mist canadian destroyers SG and Mort spears Mist. All 4 men are down.

Mort and SG miss moves and end up outside. MD moostsauls SG off the post. Mist walks up the buckles and plancha's Mort. The ref isn't looking and SG kicks Mist in the nuts for 2. MD springboard diving crucifix bombs SG then 2nd rope ssp's him outside. Mist la mistica's Mort and submits him.

Thoughts: It was alright. The heels stuck to the basics for the most part then the faces made their comeback. They did overdo it a little but the tag format covered some of the issues. I thought this could have been a little shorter. I figured Mistico's team would win here as it only made sense.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual ROH show. The matches were random. The tag champs were the only champs in action...but their match was taped and held in a different promotion so that doesn't really count. The matches were acceptable overall but nothing you really need to see. I wouldn't recommend this one and would give it a 5 out of 10. It was average overall.

CMLL 7/3/2026 Viernes Espectacular

CMLL 7/3/2026 Viernes Espectacular

The announcer welcomes us to the show and does the usual intro. He talks about tonight's Flip vs Volador match.

Tor hiptosses Virus off the apron onto the floor. CN takes a springboard doomsday device crucifix bomb. Tor tope con hilos Virus through the ropes and Rey pins CN. Rey Tornado's team win the match.

Thoughts: It was a good opener here. We had a lot of flying and fast paced action without a lot of issues. Rey Pegasus continues to look pretty solid and Infinto did alright here. Virus got hiptossed from the apron to the floor here.

Los Herederos (El Cobarde, Felino Jr. and Hijo de Stuka Jr.) vs Los Forajidos (El Coyote, Polvora & Vaquero Jr.)

Fel is tripped by Pol and Coy la magistral's Fel. Coy pins Fel. Polvora's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: Polvora's team got a rare trios win here. It was just average for the most part. Both of these teams are usually heels so I didn't expect anything great out of it. Cobarde's team was more face-like, but not quite enough to really make this work.

Polvora talks on the mic after and says they beat their opponents in the center of the ring. Pol demand a trios title match due to it. Polvora says "yes?" to the crowd and the crowd says, "no". Felino gets on the mic and says he wasn't beaten fair and square. Felino says they accept the challenge though.

Dragon Rojo Jr. & Star Jr. vs. Barbaro Cavernario & Zandokan Jr.

I don't know why Rojo and Star are teaming up here.

Star takes a giant swing and Zand basement dropkicks him to break it up. Zacarias the parrot comes in and 619's Star. Rojo is dropkicked into the corner and Barb stomps him. Barb chops Rojo down. Star springboard dropkicks Zand. Star corner lariats him and Barb. Rojo corner basement dropkicks both opponents. Star top rope swantons Zand and Rojo top rope double stomps Barb. Rojo's team gets 2 counts.

Star is popped up and hits a double dropkick. Rojo topes out onto Barb and Star tope con hilos through the ropes onto Zand. Rojo chops Barb. Barb basement dropkicks Rojo. Rojo is then thrown over the rail and Star flip dives Zand over the top buckle outside. Star springboard crossbodies Barb.

Star slap and chop flurries Barb. Barb rolls and holds his leg. Zand then comes in and low blows Star behind the ref's back. Zand slams Star and Barb springboard splashes Star. Barb pins Star. Zandokan Jr.'s team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not much else. They never had that great of a flow going. The heels were heeling it up a bit more than usual on the faces.

Rojo gets on the mic after and says the fans saw what happened. Rojo says he didn't lose tonight, he learned. He tells Barb that a dragon always has an ace up his sleeve. Star gets on the mic and says he wants a rematch. Barb talks on the mic. He says he never said the fans are stupid. He says what he is said is Rojo is the fool. Zand says Rojo's team should leave and asks the crowd if there should be a rematch. Zand says he and Barb don't want a rematch.

They have a mascot in an outfit dance on the stage to advertise some kind of shopping app.

Keyra & Persephone vs. Garra Negra & Tessa Blanchard

Pers misses a corner spear and goes into the post. Key takes a double knee to the head over the 2nd rope. Tess low topes Pers then Garra top rope dropkicks Key. Key and Tess each hit kicks. All 4 girls end up going down. Pers shoves Tess' head. Tess slaps her. Pers does a grounded dragon sleeper on Tess and Garra breaks it up. Garra dropkicks Key out. Garra topes Key. Tess sitout powerbombs Pers and pins her. Garra Negra's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was very average. There were tons of basement dropkicks and there was more of a brawling theme to it than anything else. It was slower as well and just didn't impress.

Tess gets on the mic after. She says she beat Pers in the middle of the ring. She says she wants a title match right now. Pers tells her to shut up. Pers says she's nobody and Pers says she is the champ. Pers says if she gives her a title shot, it'll be when she feels like it. The mic cuts out. Tess calls her a coward and tells her to face her now. Tess asks if she needs to come and get her in AEW.  Tess and Pers end up fighting and they get separated.

World Historic Middleweight Title Match - Flip Gordon (c) vs. Volador Jr.

Flip dropkicks Vol out and topes him. Flip goes up and over then does backflips. Flip boots him out of the corner and 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Flip misses a dropkick through the ropes.  Flip springboard crossbodies him.

Flip top rope 450's Vol for 2. Flip slams him. Flip springboard swantons and misses a top rope moonsault. Vol canadian destroyers him for 2.

Flip springboard dropkicks Vol. Flip PK's him from the apron. Flip  goes for a springboard and is pulled down face first on the apron. Vol is sent into and over the rails. Flip flips over the rail onto Vol. Inside, Vol springboard canadian destroyers him and pins him.

Thoughts
: Vol was not good early here and had some bad kicks that didn't hit. He warmed up a little as it got on. Flip basically did most of the work with random flips. They had a lot of move that didn't really connect. It was kind a face vs face match and I just thought it was so-so. Vol had short trunks on with a tanktop shirt that didn't look good.

Claudio Castagnoli does a video. He says he will be back on July 10th to face Blue Panther.

Atlantis & El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Mistico) vs. Hechicero & Los Hermanos Chavez (Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja)

1st Fall - Roja and MD go at it. Roja takes him down and leg drops his leg. Roja surfboards him. MD flying snapmares him. Roja shoulders him over. MD sweeps him and headflips up. Altantis rolls Hech up for 2. Hech dropkicks Atlantis. Mist springboard crossbodies Hech. MD springboard diving headscissors Hech. Mist la mistica's Hech and the heels break it up. Atlantis crossbodies off the apron ouside. Mist is popped up and does a diving headscissors. Mist superkicks Roja. Mist is pushed into MD on the buckles, crotching him. Oro michinoku drivers Mist and MD is 2nd rope dropped onto Mist. Oro and Roja pick up stereo pins. Hechicero's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts
: The heels don't win these a lot and do need a win now and then, so they got it here. It was fine enough with Mist doing his usual moveset and them carrying the load for Atlantis. Atlantis didn't do a ton, but he had an okay outing here.

Oro gets on the mic after and says he likes it when everyone boos him. He says they beat the faces in the ring and says Mist just won a title last week that interests him. Oro says they want to become triple tag champs. Roja says they made 29 defenses of their tag titles. They say they give everyone a shot at their titles and says Mist and MD have to give them a shot at their titles.

Mist agrees to a match for next week. He says they want a rematch for the CMLL Tag Titles though. Oro and Roja go to shake the faces hands, then boot them and unmask them.

The announcer then talks to close the show.

Overall thoughts
: It was a longer show with close to 2.5 hours of action. The opener was good. The second and third matches weren't that different from each other but the third match was a little better. The women's match was average. Flip/Volador didn't deliver and the main was okay. I'd say the opener was the best match of the night and the main was the second best. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show, but they definitely did build some things up there for future shows.

WWE Smackdown 7/3/2026

He says this is a celebration tonight and says we are celebrating him tonight. He says he forever goes down as one of the all-time greats and will be known forever as Sami Zayn, Wrestlemania Main Eventer, Grand Slam Champion and WWE Champion. He says no amount of hate can take it from him.

Cody Rhodes comes out. Sami asks Cody, "what do you wanna talk about?". Cody says Sami was the first to celebrate with him when he won the title. Sami says no one is touching this and tells both of them to stay away from him.

Sami goes to leave and Adam Pearce comes out. Adam says he's the acting GM with Nick being out due to his altercation with Gunther. Adam says his first order of business is to find Sami a challenger. Sami says he should have a say as to his opponent at Summerslam. Adam says, who said anything about Summerslam? Adam says Nick might do that, but he's here and we do it his way. Adam says Sami will defend his title on Raw. Adam says we will have a #1 contender when Cody faces Jey tonight.

Thoughts: It was a great segment. I loved seeing Sami spit Cody's words back at him and him saying the title is still with Bloodline essentially was interesting. Adam playing hardball with Sami also added to this. This was very soap opera-esque and it worked out well.

Cathy Kelly interviews Charlotte Flair. Flair says Jade got what she deserved when she interfered in her match. She says she will keep teaching lessons to Jade until she gets the picture. Alexa Bliss walks in. She says she didn't know Flair would be at Night of Champions. She says she wish she had told her. Flair says it wasn't personal and says she saw Bliss with Tiffany. Tiffany Stratton walks in. She says she never needed Flair's help, but thanks. Chelsea Green comes in and says Jade should be worried about "us". Green rolls up Jade off a jade end attempt. Green htis Fab on the apron and is hit with a jade end. Jade pins Green.

Thoughts: It was fine. Jade's team kind of had to win here to get Jade some kind of win to move forward and Green was a good choice to take the fall.

We see clips of the Aldis/Gunther situation. we are told Aldis is on leave and Adam Pearce is running the show for the time being.

Adam Pearce is on the phone with Nick Aldis. Sami Zayn comes up to Adam. He says he doesn't belong on Raw as a SD star. Adam says Sami can show the world he can be a great Undisputed champ. Adam says congratulations and he will see him Monday. Sami talks more but Adam leaves.

Sami says he doesn't know if he could have done this without him. He says Johnny is his rock. Sami says you gotta stay true to yourself to win titles. Sami then asks LeRae to take a photo of him and Johnny.

Vik misses a springboard 450. Rey flying double knees him in the corner. Rey mexican muscle busters him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was what I expected - an indy no-sell fest where they just do cool stuff until it ends and that's what happened. That 2nd rope poisonrana should have totally ended this. I'm just glad it didn't go too long as it would have gotten worse.

Cathy Kelly interviews Giulia about Blake Monroe. Giulia says she doesn't back down from any fight. she says she put Kiana behind her. She says she will fight Blake anytime and anywhere. Kiana James comes in. She says it would be like Giulia to bite the hand that feeds her. She says she got lucky. Blake then grabs Giulia and throws her into a box. She says she's Blake Monroe and it's good to see her. She then bangs her face off the floor. Kiana says not to forget who is in control here to Giulia and Blake bangs Kiana's head off the same box.

Keys says blood doesn't make you family, but loyalty does. Keys says he's been Fatu's Day 1 for the last 14 years and says he's Fatu's family. Jimmy says, "not no more" and says, "right Jacob?". Melo says everything Trick does is larger than life and says he's unstoppable. He says that's because he hasn't decided to stop him yet. Melo says he made the championship a championship and Trick made it an accessory. He says he will get him a discount code on WWE Shop if he needs an accessory. Melo says Trick has the workhorse and match of the night title. He says Trick walks around like he has had too much to eat.

Melo tells Trick to prove him wrong and put the title against someone who knows him better than anyone. Melo says he doesn't buy that Trick will be one of the greatest champs of all time. He says Trick has 2 left feet and a mouth full of marbles when he faces him. Yachty stands up for Trick and says he's not the same guy he was in NXT. He says Trick has been nothing short of greatness on the main roster.

Yachty asks the crowd if Melo should get a match. The crowd seems to approve. Yachty says Melo has a match next week but it's not for the title. He says Melo had a chance, blew it and failed and they won't give up titles.

Trick says with the history they had, he knows Melo like the back of his hand. Trick then backhands him down and says to mind your business while grown folks are talking. Trick goes to walk out and Melo tope con hilos him.

Danhausen is in his lair with Miz and Kit acting weird. Matt Cardona comes in. Dan says he has a match with "the guy with the head who follows around Dominik Mysterio". Miz and Kit make sounds like they are being electrocuted.

BB top rope dropkicks LR. BB kicks LR while she's on her knees. BB throws down LR by the hair and puts a crossface on her. Fallon tries to push the rope closer to LR. Paige stops her but then Fallon drops her with a shot. Brie then sends Fallon into the rails. LR running knees Brie and pins her.

Thoughts: The match wasn't much as expected. Brie still can't do her own offense that great after all of this. Brie was dumb for letting the crossface go when she had Fallon trapped.

R-Truth and Nathan Frazer are having a hot dog eating contest. Truth says the US beat England and chants USA. NF says he feels sick. Axiom referees this. The War Raiders come in. They ask if they are taking their offer or just shoving food in their faces. Ivar takes Truth's hot dog and eats it. Truth then challenges them to a hot dog eating contest for tag titles. DP accepts a title vs title match but says it's happening on SD. Truth says Ivar will lose his mask and luchador status. Erik asks Ivar why he ate the hot dog and Ivar says he doesn't know.

Jey goes for a dive and Cody forearms him. Cody throws him over the rail and plancha's him off the rail. Jey and Cody double lariat each other down. We go to break and return again. They fight on the buckles and Cody is knocked down. Jey top rope splashes Cody for 2. Jey runs into a Cody kick. Cody walks up the buckles and cody cutters him for 2.

Cody springboards and is superkicked in mid-air. Jey spears him for 2. Cody hits a spear then hits cross rhodes for 2. Cody top rope splashes but Jey gets his knees up. Jey cradles him for 2.

Jey and Cody trade shots on their knees. Cody hits punches. Jey sleepers him. Jey backrolls him. Jey misses a lariat and Cody hits cross rhodes. Cody pins him.

Thoughts: I think they got told they needed to go home near the end as it ended a bit suddenly for the pace they were at. The match was fine. The two have worked together and know what to do against each other. Cody was definitely the favorite to win and pulled it off. Him vs Sami should be interesting.

Overall thoughts: It was a better show at 2 hours. They didn't waste as much time and the segments got to the point better. The opening segment was good. The women's trios match was acceptable. I hated Fenix/Vikingo. Brie/Reid wasn't that good and the main was an alright bout. I also found the R-Truth segment funny. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and thought it was an okay show overall.

They get back in. Page hits a lariat and deadeye for 2. Mox lariats him down. They trade forearms. Page superkicks him. Page does a nasty fisherman buster for 2.

Page tombstones Mox. Page hits a buckshot lariat for 2. Page bulldog chokes Mox. Mox then cradles him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like the finish that much here as it was a bit sudden and Mox should have been done here. They overdid it a little but it wasn't too too bad. I was fine with this overall and it was okay.

Yuta and Claudio get in the ring after. Page and Mox shove each other and Page ends up leaving. Mox gives Page middle fingers.

The Butcher, The Blade, The Bunny and Jamie Hayter are interviewed. Bunny says they were impressed with Jamie's win over Emi Sakura, but she says Emi outshined her. Bunny challenges her for an eliminator match for her AEW Women's title. Jamie says she loves a challenge and she's free.

We see then Saraya and Toni Storm beat up Jamie's buddy, Britt Baker, in the back.

The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) vs The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)

Max raps and calls his opponents The Bootleg Beverly Brothers. Billy Gunn is with The Acclaimed. Truth has no beard here and looks like a different guy.

The Runners scissor and Bowens superkicks Turbo. Max slams Truth and Bowens 2nd rope leg drops Truth in the crotch. The Acclaimed then scissor. Bowens superkicks Truth. Max top rope elbow drops Truth and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short squash and not much else here. It was definitely a burial of The Runners.

The Gunn's come out after and grab a mic in the ring. Colten tells The Acclaimed they had a good match. He says they want a shot at the titles and want an answer right now. Bowens complains about them interrupting him. Bowens asks the fans if The Gunn's deserve a shot. The fans say no and Bowens says no. The Gunn's shove The Acclaimed. Billy breaks it up and gets mad. Billy then leaves and tells them to beat each other up. Austin tell Billy to do what he did their entire childhood and turn his back on them. Austin tells him to go drown his sorrows in the bottom of a pill bottle just like he used to.

Billy comes back in. He tells The Gunn's to step up and said they made the biggest mistake of their lives. Billy asks if they think they had what he had. Billy agrees to the tag title shot and says they will see what they have next week. The Gunn's smile and laugh and The Acclaimed aren't happy.

Thoughts
: Odd logic here as Billy should have challenged one of his boys instead. He gave them exactly what they wanted simply just for them being rude to him.

Jack Perry is interviewed. He says he had a good time teaming with Hook, but he's done the tag team thing before. He says he will be a champ again this year but all by himself.

Brian Cage vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Cage has Nana with him.

KT and Cage facekick each other and hit lariats. KT flying lariats him. KT facekicks him off the apron and slingshot plancha's him outside. Cage powerbomb throws KT into the post. Cage basement dropkicks him for 2. They trade forearms. KT spinning back elbows him and spinning forearms him. Cage knees him in the chest. KT spinning blue thunders him for 2.

Cage buckle bombs him. KT sitout powerbombs him for 2. KT spinning forearms him. Cage backdrops him then spinning lariats him for 2. KT brainbusters him. KT forearms him and brianbusers him again for 2. Cage F-5's KT. They fight on the buckles. KT 2nd rope brainbusters him. KT pumping knees him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. These two just basically dropped each other on their necks the whole time and didn't sell much at all.

The Jericho Appreciation Society are interviewed. Jericho says Starks didn't lose to a baseball bat but lost to the JAS. Sammy Guevara says Starks can face the Garcia-Guevara gauntlet to get a shot. Starks has to beat 2.0 then has to beat either Garcia or Guevara then can face Chris Jericho. Jericho says Stark doesn't call the shots around here, they do. Jericho says he's ready to whoop his @ss if he makes it through the gauntlet.

The Bucks, Kenny Omega, Don Callis and Nakazawa do a promo with basketballs. Kenny says Top Flight got one of their boys. Kenny says they can grab AR Fox and they'll put the titles on the line. Kenny says they can shoot their shot but The Elite never miss.

Matt Hardy, Ethan Page, Isiah Kassidy and Stokeley Hathaway come in. Page challenges them to a trios match. Don talks about selling an MFT and Omega agrees to the match. Kassidy says he hopes they are ready as they are.

Bryan Danielson vs. Timothy Thatcher

TT goes for the armbar and Bryan ropebreaks. TT euros him in the corner. TT knees Bryan's arm then kimura's him. Bryan ropebreaks.  Bryan hits punches and kicks. Bryan dragon screws him. Bryan indian deathlocks his legs then does a surfboard. TT stomps Bryan's arm.

Bryan chops and kicks him in the corner. Bryan flying dropkicks him in the corner and TT armwhips him down. TT kimura's him and Bryan ropebreaks. We go to PiP break and return. TT and Bryan trade shots against the ropes. TT does a front facelock + kimura suplex for 2.

TT backdrops Bryan. MJF comes out. Konosuke Takeshita jumps MJF from the side and sends him into the rails. They fight to the back. TT armbars him and Bryan ropebreaks. TT belly to belly suplexes Bryan. Bryan germans TT. TT flying knees him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with them doing mostly submissions and various strikes. It was alright for what it was but not really the classic they had in mind. Bryan won as expected and I don't really see what the point of the ref bump was in this match. Bryan didn't do as many submission as you would think.

We go to the back. MJF bangs KT's head off a box. He throws a chair and trash can in his face. KT bangs MJF's head off table and they hockey fight. Officials break it up. Renee says they will fight next week in an eliminator match per Tony Khan. MJF gets mad.

Swerve Strickland talks about getting rid of the deadweight in the Mogul Affiliates. He says Dustin Rhdoes is standing his camera with his light and interviewer. He says Dustin isn't here and they find a new nepotism guy to get rid of. Swerve says it's Brian Pillman.

Rush and Preston Vance are interviewed. MJF interrupts. MJF says he doesn't know Spanish well but he knows the language of money. He shows Rush's crew a suitcase of cash. He says that's free of charge and has 5 more with Rush's name on it if he can beat Bryan Danielson by any means necessary. He asks if he can rip of Bryan's arm and beat him with it. Rush talks in Spanish and Rush's translator says they have a deal. MJF says it sounds like he said more than that.

AEW TBS Title Match - Jade Cargill (c) vs. Red Velvet

Red hits Jade from behind. Red hits Jade from behind. Red thesz presses her and hits mounted shots. Jade back elbows her. Jade is thrown out. Leila Grey checks on Jade outside and Red dropkicks Jade through the ropes. Red gets a 2 count on her and Jade wheelbarrow germans her for 2. Jade slams her and elbow drops her.

We go to PiP break and return. Jade does push up's in the ring. Jade throws her. Red corner dropkicks her and codebreakers her. Red hits leg kicks and a superkicks her in the gut. Jade pump kicks her for 2. Kiera Hogan comes out and pushes Leila Grey into the stpes. Red spin kicks Jade in the head for 2.

Red does an armbar on Jade. Jade blocks a sunset flip. Jade then hits a jade end and pins her.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Red got thrown around a little and had a decent comeback before losing here. Jade won and moves to 50-0 in AEW.

Renee is looking for a medical update on Britt Baker. She says she's fine and if this is how Toni and Saraya want to do things, they can do that too. Ruby Soho comes in and asks Britt if she's good. Britt says those are Ruby's girls. Ruby said she had nothing to do with it. Britt says Ruby knows them a lot longer than they know her and Jamie. Britt says she's good.

AEW TNT Title - No Holds Barred Match - Darby Allin (c) vs. Samoa Joe

DA has a thumbtack jacket on. He backsplashes Joe in the corner and pounds on him. Joe enzugiri's him in the corner. Joe then lariats him with a towel on his hand to avoid the tacks. Joe takes DA's jacket off.

Joe chops him down and stomps on him in the corner. Joe grabs a table from under the ring and DA topes the table into Joe. Joe's head is busted open from that one. DA is sent into steps near the rail. He rolls into those and goes over the rail. Joe hits knees on DA in the crowd then bangs DA's head off a railing. They fight on the steps.

DA rakes Joe's back. Joe throws him over the rail on the steps. DA's head is banged off a seat. DA is thrown over the rail into ringside. Joe slams DA on the steps. Joe punches DA down in the ring. Joe kicks DA in the chest and fist drops him.

Joe cranks DA's head and elbows him in the mouth. Joe back elbows DA. Joe stomps on DA.   Joe rakes DA's face. DA hits hard chops. Joe corner uranage's him.  Joe hits chops. Joe running facekis DA out and DA lands hard on the floor. DA jawbreakers out of a choke. DA hits chops on Joe. Joe throws him wildly over the top to the floor.

Joe suplexes DA. Two chairs are opened back to back. Joe backdrops DA on the tops of them. DA puts some kind of powder in Joe's eyes and hits a code red on him for 2. DA does an over the back stunner. DA puts a tack filled hoodie on and coffin drops Joe for 2.

DA cuts off the strings that connect the canvas to the ring. DA tries to tope Joe, Joe moves and DA goes into a table against the rails. Joe powerbombs DA onto a thumbtack hoodie. He then puts the hoodie on DA's face. DA sticks his fingers in Joe's eyes. DA hits Joe with a chair.

Joe pushes the ref into the ropes and it causes DA to be crotched up top. Joe 2nd rope muscle busters DA on the exposed ring boards. Joe pins Darby.

Thoughts: It was a wild one here with tacks, the ring being exposed, tables, blood and a brawl in the stands. Darby took some nasty looking bumps as usual and both guys got busted open here. This was brutal at times and was a war. I thought it was a really good match here.

Wardlow comes out. He spears Joe and hits mounted shots on him. Joe gets out and security tries to stop Wardlow. Wardlow beats up security. Wardlow then hits a razor's edge on one guard, sending him out onto the other guards to close the show.

Overall thoughts: I thought the opener was okay. The Outrunners got squashed. Cage/Takeshita was an indy style match and I didn't like it. Danielson/Thatcher wasn't quite the technical bout you'd expect but it was okay. Jade/Red was acceptable. Darby/Joe was good and a brutal match. I'd give this a 7 out of 10 as the main was good, they had some variety here and there was a lot of acceptable wrestling on this show. It was a good show overall.

EPW Wrestling 6/27/2026 Episode #248

EPW Wrestling 6/27/2026 Episode #248

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/06/epw-wrestling-6202026-episode-247.html

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are on commentary. Chris Styles and Cody James are in the crowd with their EPW Tag Titles.

The hosts type up tonight's show. They talk about The Blacklist being in the front row.

The Initiative (Jason Genesis and Trace Lee Hunt) vs The Uncut Gems (Tyler LeMasters and Bobby Ford)

Aryanne is with The Initiative.

Tyler is hyped up and he is chopped in the corner by Hunt. Ty is suplexed into a slingshot swanton from JG. JG snapmares Ty and kicks him in the back. JG low diving forearms Ty. The Blacklist are throwing snacks at Hunt from the crowd. Ford top rope crossbodies the heels.

Ty gorilla press throws Ford onto The Initiative outside. Ty slams Hunt then slams Ford onto Hunt for 1. Ford hits mounted corner punches on Hunt. Aryanne distracts the ref. JG lifts Ford for a very hard powerbomb from Hunt.

We go to break and return. JG corner forearms Ford then backdrops him. JG kneedrops Ford's arm. Ford is held for a running boot to the head. Hunt nails his partner twice on accident. Ty gets in and hits lariats and punches on Hunt. Ty like spinning crossbodies Hunt then slams him. Ford goes up top, slips and falls down. Hunt is held for a move but JG pulls Ford over the top. Hunt olympic slams Ty.

The Blacklist spray Aryanne with silly string outside. Hunt is distracted and Ty pins Hunt. The Uncut Gems win!

Thoughts: Big upset here with The Gems winning. This was a fun opener. The faces showed some fire and the heels were solid heels. Hunt absolutely blasted Ford with a powerbomb here. We knew The Blacklist were going to get involved here and I thought them spraying silly string on Aryanne was amusing.

"Action" Mike Jackson is interviewed by Sarah Blake. Mike says he has wrestled with the greatest names and orgs in the world and lists the AWA as one of them. He says he's here with EPW today. CJ Thomas interrupts and says Mike not know who he is. He says he's better than the guys Mike has beaten as those guys never beat him. CJ says Mike never faced him. He says the guys Mike beat were good when the TV was in black and white. Mike says let's settle it tonight and see how good he really is. CJ agrees.

The Order come out. Dorian Vain stares down Jaxx Roxx and says he heard some of the slick stuff he said. He says he's been very disrespectful. Jaxx then hands Jimmy Twinkies, saying a fan gave those to him a few minutes ago. Vain yells at him and the mic goes out. Vain tells him and stomps the Twinkies box. Vain say he's not like everyone else and is a grown man. He says he's handling grown man business tonight. The other mic then cuts out. Vain yells at Jaxx and accuses him of doing it. Vain says he's demanding an opportunity. Vain says Aaron Roberts won't disrespect him. Vain says he deserves and demand a title opportunity.

Vain tells Aaron to come out and says he wants his opportunity right now. Vain says Aaron is scared of him. Wonder Boy comes out. Boy says Vain is demanding title shots out here while he holds the Crossroads Cup. He says if anyone deserves a title shot, it's everyone's favorite superhero. Vain says Boy looks like a fool dressed up like this. He says since he can tell he grew up without a father, he will be his daddy tonight.

Thoughts: They had a rough time here as two mics cut out on them. I liked Vain accusing Jaxx of being behind it though.

Judy Lee Taylor vs Lil Bit

Judy backs Bit up off the lock up. Bit shoves her and is thrown twice. Judy giant swings her. Judy suplexes Bit for 2. Bit triangles Judy over the 2nd rope. Bit kicks her in the back and pump kicks her. Bit misses a senton and Judy dropkicks her. Judy racks her and Bit submits quick.

Thoughts: It didn't get much time here and wasn't anything too good.

Bit hits her form behind after. Bit drops her chest first on the mat and does a crossface.

Winner gets a shot at the Apex Title - Sevyn Cruz vs Jared X Rawlings vs Moses Cain vs Chuck Swann

Sev high fives Moses. Moses throws him into Chuck. Jared hits shots on Chuck and Moses stomps Sev. Jared hits shots on Moses and  dropkicks him twice. Moses catches his crossbody and slams him. Moses face shoves Chuck. Moses shoulders him over. Chuck step up knees Moses in the corner.

Chuck takes a double suplex. Moses takes shots from Jared and Sev then pulls them into each other. Moses throws Jared into Chuck on the apron. Moses black hole slams Sev and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was a short one. Moses should have won  and he did. They put over Moses' size in this and it was basically Moses in a 1v2 here.

Sarah Blake interviews Nyxx. Nyxx feels good about getting a title shot next week. Raven Black comes in and asks why Nyxx gets a title shot before her. Nyxx says thats a you problem. Nyxx says she will go win the EPW Title and Raven says we will see about that.

Raven Black vs Gigi Turner

Rav clubs on Gig from behind. Gigi hits some forearms and has her head banged off the buckles. Rav misses a corner charge. Gigi running kicks her in the corner and roundhouse kicks her in the corner. Gigi snapmares her. Rav clubs and stomps her.

Rav slams Gigi for 2. Rav spinebusters Gigi. Rav stands on her gut and pulls her arms up. The ref then counts the pin for some reason.

Thoughts: I don't know what happened in the finish but Gigi's arms  weren't even down here. That was a bad mess up. The match wasn't that good.

We see clips from a recent live show.

Dorian Vain vs Wonder Boy

They lock up. DV backs him up in the corner. Boy hits some punches and a flying forearm. Boy goes up and over then dropkicks him. Boy corner flying forearms him. Boy hits leg kicks and forearms. DV pulls him down by the hair. Boy's head is banged off the buckles. DV punches him in the corner and foot chokes him.

Hollywood Jimmy chokes Boy and DV chokes Boy on the ropes. Boy short arm lariats him. DV underhook suplexes Boy. DV chokes him in the corner. DV hits punches on Boy in the corner then clubs on him. Boy hits punches and flying forearms him down twice.

Vain spinebusters him. Vain does a cobra clutch on him then slams him down off of it. Vain puts the cobra clutch back on and submits him.

Thoughts:
It was a shorter one but they did what they were supposed to. Boy showed some fire and made comebacks before being put down as expected.

Vain grabs Boy's Crossroads Cup after but puts it on the apron.

Overall thoughts: The opener was a fun match and the best bout on here. The main did what it was supposed to also. The other bouts were shorter which really limited how good they could be. They had 2 mics break during The Order's interview which was rough. We also had one of the worst pinfalls I've seen in in the Black/Turner match. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 overall as they had some lows here that brought this down a little. It was average overall.

DG jumps at him, gets caught and is hit with a drilla killa. DM pins him.

Thoughts: I wasn't that into it. DG worked the ankle then the leg for a little. Shafir interfered near the end and it was just a match for the most part. It could have been a little shorter too. I thought this was just so-so.

Jarrett and Renee talk more.

SB sueprkicks her and Maika rolls to the apron. Maika suplexes SB on the apron. Maika hammerlock michinoku drivers her and pins her.

Thoughts
: Like the opener, it was random, long and not that interesting. At least something was on the line here but that's really about it. Maika did some of her power moves but didn't exactly get the crowd all fired up here.

We get another PPV card run-down.

AEW Women's World Tag Team Title Match - Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) (c) vs. Olympia & Thunder Rosa

Meg gordbusters Rosa. Lena running lariats Rosa for 2. Everyone hits a move and all 4 girls go down. Lena and Olym trade chops. Lena chest kicks her. Meg hurricanrana's Olym from the top and barely gets over. Rosa top rope dropkicks Meg. Meg dropkicks Lena on accident. Rosa corner dropkicks Meg.

Olym gorilla press slams Meg. Rosa top rope double stomps Meg for 2. Rosa side kicks Lena down. Rosa hurricanrana's Meg for 2. Meg F-5's Rosa for 2. Meg claymore kicks Olym. Rosa takes a double chokeslam and is pinned.

Thoughts:
It went a little long but I liked it. Rosa tried harder than usual. It got a lot of time and the heels had a different team to fight than usual. I liked the spot where Olym moonsaulted off Lena onto Meg. Meg and Lena won as expected as Rosa and Olym are a random makeshift team.

The commentators then talk about the card more and we see a video on Briscoe/MJF.

Overall thoughts: We had 3 matches here. The first two were longer, slower, random and just so-so. The 2nd match was a qualifier atleast though and meant something. The 3rd match was the best match on here. It got a lot of time and the girls probably had about the best match they were going to have here. I liked it. I thought the matches were a bit long for a pre-show that's supposed to make you want more. I won't rate this as it's a pre-show, but I think you could skip this one. What we got was average here.
