AEW Collision 3/23/2025 Slam Dunk Sunday

This is a one hour show that aired after the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

AEW Trios Titles - The Death Riders (PAC, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) vs AR Fox and Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin)

Darius cravates him and is tripped by Yuta. Darius side headlocks him. Darius waistlock takedowns him then does another side headlock. Darius armdrags and dropkicks him. Darius spin kicks Yuta then double stomps him on the back after a legsweep.

CC boots Dante in the corner. CC blocks his sunset flip. Dante hits forearms and CC forearms him over. CC hits uppercuts. Dante kicks him off the buckles then 2nd rope headscissors him out. Pac flips over Dante then takes a flying forearm. AR gets in, kips down and up and enzugiri's Pac. 

Pac is swept on the apron. AR flipping double stomps him then flips onto Yuta outside. Yuta suplexes him for 2. Darius bulldogs Yuta into the ropes while dropkicking Pac through the ropes. Darius flatliners Yuta off the bottom rope. Yuta eye rakes Darius and does a suplex for 2.

We go to PiP break and return. Yuta dropkicks Darius. Pac forearms Darius over then foot chokes him. Darius hits chops on CC then is euro'd. Darius is popped up and he dropkicks CC.

Dante hits forearms on Yuta. Dante enzugiri's him then top rope crossbodies Yuta. Dante flips over Yuta and dropkicks Pac out. Dante double springboard tope con hilos outside onto Pac and Yuta. AR plants of the post and moonsaults CC. AR top rope swantons Yuta for 2.

AR is crotched up top. Pac low blows Top Flight and CC double lariats Top Flight. AR tries to fight off a 3v1 and is group stomped. AR then takes corner euros. Pac tombstones AR then Yuta is rocket launched onto AR. Yuta pins AR.

Thoughts: It was okay but it was a random one and it was hard to believe Top Flight and AR were winning. I have no idea how or why the faces earned this shot and I don't expect any follow up on it.

The Cru of Lio Rush and Action Andretti attack Top Flight after. Top Flight then get choked with necklaces.

Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong are interviewed. Kyle has a black eye. Cole says the worst part about the match with Garcia was that he had him beat but the time limit struck. He says the next match will have no time limit between them and he says he will be the next champ. Kyle says he's bugged by the lack of respect with FTR and they wouldn't shake their hands. Strong says fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. He says the 3rd time won't happen.

Kazuchika Okada is interviewed. He talks about recent wins and says he put those dogs down. He says he put those b!tches to sleep.

Johnny TV vs Bandido

Band hits forearms. JTV rolls over him and hits punches then a knee. JTV hits a neckbreaker. Band hits flying forearms. Band monkey flips him then gorilla press slams him. We go to PiP break, full break and return.

Band boots JTV out of the corner. Band twists JTV into a knee to the face. Band hits his 21plex and wins.

Thoughts: It was disappointing. These two could have had a nice match but instead it was basically a quick squash where they didn't get to do much at all. 

Bandido calls out Chris Jericho and tells him to bring Gravity's mask with him.

The Learning Tree come out. Jericho says he has to remind everyone that you can only take him for granted so long. He says he can be generous or quite dangerous. Jericho said he had to teach Bandido a learning tree lesson. He says Band can't have the mask back as he wants him to remember the humiliation he felt when he took the mask. He says the only thing worse than taking the mask is putting it on.

Jericho then puts the Gravity mask on. he asks if Band will stand there and cry like his mother. Band hits a bad punch on CJ, escapes the 3v1 and takes the mask as he leaves.

Thoughts: Band kind of came off like a dork here after celebrating taking the mask but they tried to atleast sell CJ taking the mask like it meant something.

We get a video on Megan Bayne.

Toni Storm does a promo with Luther. She asks who died and made Bayne God. She says Hercules doesn't have her thights and says she can summon the kraken from her @ss. She says she made love with her reflection. She says she will cut off Meg's head and hold it up for the whole world to see.

Harley Cameron vs Aminah Belmont

HC side headlocks her. HC rolls over her then lariats her. HC hits knees to the gut and a russian legsweep. AB pulls her down by the hair. HC back elbows her then step up enzugiri's her. HC hits a wrist clutch backdrop then does a twisting neckbreaker to win.

Thoughts: It was just a squash here with HC just looking very average.

Don Callis interviewed in the back. He says Kyle Fletcher can put nights like Revolution in the rearview mirror. He says he has big plans for him and says it's more than Lexy can fathom. He brings in Kyle Fletcher. Kyle says this feud with Will has changed him. He says he's destined to be the greatest of al ltime. He says he will make what he plans next very apparent.

Los Titanes del Aire (Hologram & Komander) vs. La Faccion Ingobernable (Dralistico & The Beast Mortos)

Harley is on commentary. Mort headbutts Dral on accident. Holo hits forearms on Mort. Holo spin kicks Mort then rolls him up for 2. Mort gets a 2 count in and then headbutts him.

Kom springboard splashes Mort. Kom then spinning headscissors him. Dral flips off of Kom then flying shoulders him. Kom flips off the ropes into an armdrag on Dral. Kom armdrags Dral. Harley says she has to go call her friend and leaves commentary.

Kom is hurricanrana'd off the apron by Dral. Mort then tornillo topes Holo. We go to PiP break and return. Holo standing spanish fly crossbody counters Dral. Harleygram then comes out. Kom runs up the buckles and phoenix splashes Dral for 2. Holo spinning high kicks Mort. Holo is caught on an asai moonsault but hits a canadian destroyer off of it. Holo topes Mort. Kom ropewalk ssp's Mort. Holo crucifixes Mort. Kom and Dral fight up top. 

Dral is on the 2nd rope and Kom walks up the buckles and 2nd rope poisonrana's him. Mort backbreakers Kom then does like a corkscrew forearms on him. Holo poisonrana's Mort. Dral springboard diving crucifix bombs Holo.

Dral and Kom high kick each other at the same time and Kom falls on Dral. Kom and Dral trade shots. Dral springboard canadian destroyers Kom for 2. Dral corkscrew kicks Holo. Dral grabs Alex outside. Holo topes Dral and nearly does a header on the floor. Mort throws Alex into Dral.

Harley flirts with Mort then Kom rope walk corkscrew dives Dral and Mort. Holo spinning torture rack bombs Dral. Kom rope walk ssp's Dral and wins.

Thoughts: I hated this. Everyone did tons of flips and dives and nobody sold anything. There were a couple of sloppy moments. Holo almost spiked himself into the floor off a dive and Mort even threw Alex into his own partner.

Overall thoughts: The opener was okay. Johnny TV vs Bandido should have been good but didn't get much time. The Harley squash wasn't much and the main was an indy no sell fest. I would not recommend this one and would give it a 5 out of 10 overall.
