WWE Main Event 3/13/2025
Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/wwe-main-event-362025.html
Ludwig Kaiser vs Akira Tozawa
Kaiser shoves him over. He backs him up in the corner and slaps him and pats him on the head. Akira chops him. Kaiser is dropkicked in the knee and goes into the buckles. Akira is crotched up top.
Kaiser throws him down off the buckles and hits mounted shots. Kaiser eye rakes him with his feet then sends his shoulder into the post. Akira hangs over the 2nd rope and is dropkicked. Kaiser hits a rolling death valley driver.
Kaiser pie faces him. Akira hits punches on him. Kaiser pops him up and is hurricanrana'd. Akira hits a shining wizard. Akira hits a top rope dropkick then topes him outside. Akira top rope sentons but Kaiser gets his knees up. Kaiser running kicks him in the back then hits a deadfall ddt to win.
Thoughts: It was a decent match here. Kaiser bullied Akira around, Akira made his comeback then got put down. There was nothing wrong with this.
Penta vs Joaquin Wilde
They shake hands and Penta trips him off of it. JW waistlock takedowns him then is armdragged. Penta sweeps him then JW sweeps him. They then stand off. JW backrolls and is kicked. JW springboard flip dives him outside. JW then flagpole splashes him outside.
We go to break and return. Penta misses a corner charge. JW pulls Penta's arm down over the top. JW armlocks him. JW throws him down by the arm then hits elbow drops on the arm. Penta hits shots to the gut. JW bends over and is kicked. Penta slingblade bulldogs him.
Penta tope con hilos him outside. Penta top rope crossbodies him for 2. JW jawbreakers him. Penta then handstand pendulum double boots him for 2. JW hits a ddt then flying armbars him. Penta turns it into a pin attempt for 2. Penta pops him up, JW flips and is dropped with a sitout powerbomb. Penta then hits a made in Japan and wins.
Thoughts: This was good. They gave their full effort here and both took some big risks in this one. The pop-up powerbomb JW took was nasty as was the made in Japan.
Overall thoughts: There were only 2 new matches here as usual. Kaiser/Tozawa was a decent match. Wilde/Penta was good with the two really putting out their full effort and putting on a good one. It was a fun show and only had about 15 minutes of content to get through so it was easy to watch.
