Thoughts: We really only saw close to half the match. I liked what we did see though. I thought they put Elgin over well here and the finish of him ending up 1v1 with Cole and beating him fit the storyline of Cole trying to avoid Elgin. The heels used the advantage they had on Elgin for a while and even had help from Truth Martin and the girls. I would say what we saw was a good match, but it's hard to know without seeing the whole thing.
Jay Briscoe comes out after with a bag. Elgin and Jay argue as Jay says he needs to settle things with Cole. Elgin grabs him then Jay hits Elgin and Cole with the bag. Jay gets on the mic after. He asks how you can have champions vs all-stars without the real world champ? Jay then pulls out his own version of the ROH Title with confederate flags.
Thoughts: I had no issues with the angle. Jay never lost the title and was just stripped of it.
Overall thoughts: We only had one match here. I liked what we saw of the one match but the one match was too long for TV to be shown in full. I think I understand why - ROH had a limited budget, wanted to show at least some of it and wanted you to buy the DVD of it to see the rest. I think what we got of the match was enough to make you satisfied, but we missed close to half of it so it's hard to know how good it really was. I wouldn't recommend this one and would just recommend seeing the full match instead.
