We are in Houston, TX. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hang out. 

CM Punk heads to the ring. He says Houston is a wrestling town. He said he had good moments here but there's ghosts here that haunt him to this day. He brings up Paul Boesch and says he can't help thinking of old timers and wondering how they would do here. He says he wonder what would Harley Race do? 

He says Roman Reigns isn't here tonight. He says he couldn't wait to get his revenge on Roman and got his receipt at MSG. He says Roman hates him and he's where he needs to be. He says being hated by losers is the price he pays for not being one of them.

He says he near crippled Roman. He says he showed up though and he's an old man. He says his tools are self-made unlike Roman's, who are store bought. He says they are plastic like Roman. He says Roman is sent to Jimmy Fallon's show as he's safe, boring, plastic and manufactured.  

He asks why he can film movies and not miss a day while Roman uses it as a crutch to not show up. He says Roman puffs his chest up like he's The Rock. He says The Rock "was" a superstar and says Roman "was" a champion. He says his bloated cousin isn't on the Board of Directors. He says his dad wasn't a wrestler who gave him a job because he sucked at football. Punk says he paid his dues and says Roman is a nepo baby who ate dog food for a weird old man.

He says the weird old man treated him like a job but he had F-U money and left. He says Roman can't control him and that's why he hates him. He says Roman can brag about how many times he was in the main event of Mania, but they'd be fired if they were given the same opportunities and sucked at them like him. He says he can stand on the bridge and blow it up as he knows how to swim. 

He calls Pat McAfee a whipped dog and a hillbilly. He says Pat wrote a check his @ss can't cash. He tells Pat that if he's worried about Mania ticket sales, call his agent and lower the ticket prices. He says he will be d@mned if he lets him come to his business and talk about selling tickets. Punk says to lower ticket prices as he wants everyone to see him stand on Roman's throat.

Thoughts: It was a good promo with Punk doing worked shoots on various things. It helped a bit more than his segments with Roman leading up to it did. I wish we could get some good non-shoot promos though.

We see clips of LA Knight invading iShowSpeed's house and stream. We see him throw Speed into the camera.

iShowSpeed arrives and is looking for LA Knight. He runs into Danhasuen and asks him to break the curse. Dan says he saw the stream. He says he can uncurse him if he gives him his mansion. Adam Pearce comes in. Speed asks Adam to lift the curse. Danhausen then disappears. Adam tells him to go home and let The Uso's and The Vision work things out. Theory and Logan come in. They egg on Speed. Speed says he's leaving. Logan says Speed is screwed as Knight and The Uso's hate him. He says the only safe space is with them. They then get him to go with them.

The Vision of Logan Paul and Austin Theory come out with iShowSpeed. 

LA Knight vs Austin Theory

LA pushes AT into the corner. AT hiptosses him. LA his slams and AT goes out. AT hits shots in the corner. LA's head is banged off the buckles. AT hits back elbows and corner lariats. AT suplexes him for 2. LA shoulders him over. 

LA dropkicks him through the ropes. LA lariats him over the rail. LA poses on the rails and we go to break. We return and LA neckbreakers him off a suplex attempt. LA hits punches and flying lariats him. LA russian legsweeps him. LA jumping neckbreakers him for 2. 

At forearms him then rolls into a blockbuster for 2. LA lariats AT over the top. AT's head is banged off the commentary table. LA is distracted by iShowSpeed. Logan Paul pushes Speed into LA from behind. LA chases Speed. The Uso's come out as Speed walks up the aisle.

Speed jumps over LA somehow. Speed grabs the ring skit and is dragged in. Logan gets on the apron. LA nails him then AT rolls up LA with the tights and wins.

Thoughts: There was a lot of shenanigans here and with the break, there wasn't a lot to this. I don't like LA losing, but losing always is what he does. Speed's jump over LA was impressive.

Speed is cornered by the faces and says he didn't do anything. Jey grabs Speed. Logan saves Speed and pulls him out.

LA tells them not to go anywhere and tells Adam Pearce to come out here. LA says Speed cost The Uso's the tag titles. LA suggests a trios match at Mania with iShowSpeed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory vs LA Knight and The Uso's. Adam Pearce comes out. Adam says he told Speed he should have went home because now he's going to Mania. He says it's official. LA says what is official is them getting stomped out.

Michael Cole talks about how disappointed he is at Pat McAfee's turn on Cody on Smackdown. 

Finn Balor vs JD McDonaugh

Dominik Mysterio attacks Finn from behind as he heads to the ring. Finn then sends JD into the post. JD stomps Dom and throws JD out of the ring. Dom nails Finn in the back of the head with his AAA Mega Title.

JD gives Dom a chair and he nails Finn with it. Dom sits on a chair on top of Finn. 

We get a video on AJ Lee.

We see a taped interview with Michael Cole and AJ Lee. AJ says it's surreal to be back. Becky Lynch interrupts and calls Cole the worst announcer and interviewer in WWE. Cole says he doesn't need this and leaves. Becky sits down. She says she remembers the last Mania. She says AJ Lee saw her replacement years ago and quit. She says AJ won't have the home field advantage as Wrestlemania is her home. AJ says Becky made history but none of it happens without her. AJ says she knocked the doors down for Becky. AJ says she knows who she is. She tells her to ask her daughter who her favorite wrestler is and says she will say AJ Lee. AJ leaves and Becky gets mad. 

Bayley vs Lash Legend

They lock up and Bay is thrown out. Bay stomps on Lash. Bay hits her from behind. Bay hits kicks on Lash. Bay comes off the 2nd rope and is swatted down. Lash pump kicks her out and down to the floor.

We go to break and return. Lash is stunnered over the 2nd rope. Lash rams Bay into the buckles and backbreakers her for 2. Lash euros her for 2. Lash misses a splash. Bay dropkicks her a few times and running knees her. Bay 2nd rope elbow drops Lash's back for 2. Nia Jax trips Bay. Lash misses a corner spear.

Lyra jumps on Nia outside and is thrown into the apron edge. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss beat up Nia. Bay then dives onto all of them. Bay is up top and gets hit. Lash goes for 2nd rope superplex, Lyra is supposed to help but barely does and Bay falls on Lash for the pin.

Thoughts: There was a lot of shenanigans here and it was just a match and not much more. Bay won as expected.

We get a trailer for a Hulk Hogan documentary and the announcers say there wouldn't be Wrestlemania without him.

Seth Rollins comes out. He says he's been waiting for the fans to sing his song. He encourages the crowd to keep signing his song. He says he's back. He says he and Gunther don't have a long history and there's not a personal issue. He says he thinks Gunther has entered a business relationship with Paul Heyman.

He says he has 2 missions - take back the title he never lost and to kill The Vision. He says he put Brock LEsnar on a silver platter for Oba Femi. He says it has been made personal for him.

Gunther comes out and grabs Seth. Seth reverses it and kicks him out. Seth goes for a tope and is thrown onto the commentary table. Seth jumps on him off the commentary table. Officials come down and Gunther facekicks Seth. Officals break it up and Gun heads to the back.

Gunther talks to Paul Heyman. He says he doesn't know why Gunther did what he did. He says he owes him a big thank you. He says it's personal to Seth and personal to him as well. Gun shakes Paul's hand. Gun says Paul owes him more than a thank you.

Thoughts: This is a very weak and thrown together feud and this did nothing to make it make sense.

Stephanie Vaquer does a translated promo on Liv Morgan. She gets mad at her making mother jokes. She says she's a brainless b!tch who talks a lot but says nothing. She says she's trying to solve her daddy issues with Dom. Steph says she's trying to inspire girls. 

She says Liv won't see it coming and says Liv won't get her hands on the title. Steph says she will take her where no one can follow. 

Penta, Je'Von Evans and Dragon Lee vs Los Americanos (El Grande Americano, Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano)

Lee and Bravo shoulder battle. Lee flying headscissors him. Rayo flying headbutts Lee. Evans dropkicks Rayo. Evans cutters Rayo. Kofi Kingston is watching in the back. Evans seated springboard headscissors Rayo. Evans is dropped on his chest by Grande then takes a PK. Los Americanos then dance. Evans top rope crossbodies 2 of them. Evans suicide dives Rayo. Lee and Penta then do tope con hilos. Penta's team then dances.

We go to break and return. Penta slingblade facebusters one of the heels then rolls into a double ddt on the heels. Penta slingshot plancha's out. Grande headbutts Lee in the chest. Rayo 2nd rope diving headbutt drops Lee then Bravo top rope splashes Lee for 2.

Grande step up enzugiri's Penta. Evans corkscrew kicks Grande off the ropes. Rayo blocks a springboard cutter. Rayo is caught in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him. Lee hits a styles clash on Bravo for 2.

Lee flying headscissors Grande off the apron. Penta canadian destroyers Rayo on the apron. Evans double jump cutters Bravo and wins.

Thoughts: It was all flying and fast paced action here and was entertaining as expected. 

Rey Mysterio comes out after. Rey says the ladder match at Mania could be one of the best in history. He says he missed Mania last year due to an injury. He says him and Pearce agreed the ladder match is missing one more person and it's him. Penta says let's make history.  

We get an Asuka video. She says Iyo Sky tried to take everything from her. She says she destroyed what they had and ripped their family apart. She says she came to WWE to pave the way for her and gave her everything. She says she never expected thanks and did everything out of love. She says she loved her too much and Iyo took advantage of her kindness. She says Iyo used her. She says she will always be her senpai. She says she will take everything away from her.

Thoughts: I kind of thought we were done with this feud and now it's back on.

Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley vs Michin and B-Fab

RR short arm lariats Fab then hits mounted shots. RR lariats her and throws Mich in. RR facekicks Mich. Fab boots RR over then hits mounted shots.

Fab hits back elbows in the corner. Fab wraparound ddt's her. Fab chinlocks her. Iyo casadora rolls Mich then double stomps her. Fab's throat is pulled over the top and Iyo top rope double dropkicks her opponents. Iyo then topes both opponents.

We go to break and return. Mich pulls Iyo's hair and sitout powerbombs her for 2. Mich hits mounted shots on Iyo. Iyo takes a double suplex for 2. Fab knees Iyo in the gut.

Iyo rolls up Fab for 2. Fab back elbows Iyo. Mich holds Iyo on the ropes and Fab kicks Iyo. Fab sliding lariats Iyo. We go to break and return. Iyo jawbreakers Fab. Fab short arm lariats her. Iyo is double teamed.

Jade Cargill pulls RR down from the apron. Iyo rolls up Fab and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't much of note and was average. Iyo's team won as expected and won with eyes. Mich and Fab didn't add much to this one.

The heels beat up Iyo after. Rhea helps fight of the heels. Jade pump kicks Rhea. Rhea is held in the corner and Jade nails Iyo with the kendo stick. Iyo takes a jade end.

Finn says maybe he brought this situation upon himself. He says he's the one who taught Dom how to play dirty. He says playtime is over. He says there's a side to him he hasn't shown him before nd Dom has awoken it. He says it's coming for Dom.

The Judgment Day talk in the back. Dom is concerned about what Finn said. JD says they need to worry about Rey Mysterio getting added to the title match. Dom says JD will bring the IC Title back to Judgment Day. Liv and Roxanne Perez talk. Liv thanks her for the help and says she appreciates her. She says there's an elephant in the room. She says Finn brought her into Judgment Day but he turned his back on them and they did what needed done. Steph Vaquer then nails Liv from behind, knocking her into Roxanne. Liv is then sent into a TV and breaks it. That spot looked good.

Triple H and Adam Pearce come out for the contract signing. Adam talks about Oba/Brock. Paul Heyman interrupts. 

Paul puts himself over as usual and brings out Brock Lesnar. He says Oba can't measure up to the real main event of Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar. Brock comes down to the ring then Adam brings out Oba Femi.

Brock attacks Oba as he tries to get in. Brock is rammed into the post. Oba drives Brock through a table and pounds on him. Security tries to break it up as they fight and eventually does to close the show.

Overall thoughts: I didn't like this show that much. There were too many subtitled promos. The matches were nothing special and due to Mania being 2 weeks away, there was a lot more talk than action. I thought Punk did good in his promo, but I'm getting tired of the worked shoots and just want to see people cut good promos on each other. We didn't get much of an explanation on Gunther/Seth either which was disappointing. The Brock/Oba stuff was good though. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 and thought it was average.
