Juggalo Championship Wrestling 4/16/2026 Lunacy Episode 79

Mark Roberts and Joe Dombrowski are on commentary. 

Kid Cadet is the announcer and she welcomes us to the show.

Vampiro comes out to talk. The crowd makes him feel good. He says he just celebrated his 41st Anniversary in wrestling. He says as time goes on and because of how he did things, life takes its toll. He said he was in a wheelchair and said he could give up or hope and have faith. He says time robs immortality. He says he will step out into the light with the fans and they will get to see a king close the chapter on a book. He says we will see him as Vampiro for the last time in the US. He says it means a lot to do it at home in JCW. He says things haven't gone well lately with "his brother". He says he needs to call out his brother and family in Violent J. 

Violent J comes out. J says he feels the same as Vampiro sometimes and says Vamp was one of his best friends on earth. He says he was excited until Vamp showed up. He says Vamp told him he had a tag team called "The Triplex of Terror". He says when they showed up, they attacked 2 Tuff Tony and Willie Mack. He asks what happened. He says Vamp sold him out.

The crowd chants "you f*cked up" and Vamp asks the crowd if they have never f*cked up. Vamp talks about the things J taught him. Vamp says it went to J's head and he had to push him and call him out. He says it's because he loves him and that's why he did it. 

Vamp says he never knew what a panic attack was until he met J. He says The ICP went on TV and said "f*ck him". J says Vamp seems angry and he thought he got it out when he was booting 2 Tuff Tony and said f*ck the juggalos. J says he doesn't know anyone who made more mistakes than him. Vamp says they are close. J says they survived their potholes in their friendship. J says if Vamp says he loves him, he loves him back. They hug.

Vamp asks J to let him do his retirement match in JCW. Vamp says he can't walk and the doc told him not to do it. Vamp asks to let him do this with him. J asks when. Vamp says on 4/17 at Stranglemania. J asks who his opponent will be. Vamp says he's a vampire and said he heard there is a monster trying to take his place. He says it should be Vampiro vs PCO.

J says "holy sh!t" and Vamp asks if the crowd wants to see it. J says he loves it and grants him the match.

Big Vito comes out, back in his normal non-juggalo gear. Vito says that was lovely and like "As The World Turns". Vito says let's start off like we always do and tells the fans to wipe that sh!t off their faces. Vito calls the fans "juffalos" (some kind of anti-juggalo insult). J asks what Vito is doing out here.

Vito says he's the devil. He says he doesn't want anyone to hug him or love him. He says he's here just to ruin everyone's day. Vito says he and Vamp have been friends for years and travelled the same roads. He says they don't brag about it on TV though. Vito says Vamp beat Sting and Hogan, took care of Mexico and was champ here. 

J tells Vito to get off Vamp's d*ck. J questions Vito's friendship with Vamp and says he never saw them hang out. Vamp says Vito asked if the flavor of Faygo is the same as sucking a d*ck. He says he told Vito that he never had a Faygo. Vito says Vamp never beat him because he didn't have the balls to face him. Vito asks for the match to be Big Vito vs Vampiro vs PCO. J asks Vamp if he wants this. Vamp tells Vito to bring his panties and says he will see him in Las Vegas. They shake hands on it. Vamp says he will get in Vito's head and give him a nightmare. He says he will tell him when he goes to the bathroom at night that he's done.

Thoughts: It was a longer but mostly very good opening segment. J has absolutely uncanny powers to cut good babyface promos and everything Vampiro said felt real as well. Violent J being the best on promos is not something I had on my list for 2026, but it's true. I'm sure the match will not be that good, but they make you want to see it.

J-Rod is upset in the back. She kicks a door in and attacks Dani Mo in her locker room. She says hshe's not going to be in this situation and throws her into the wall/couch. She slams a suitcade on her and sticks a piece of a banana in her hair.

Thoughts: This was a quick but good beatdown. Dani went hard into that wall.

We go to the parking lot. The mysterious limo arrives. 

Luigi Primo goes up to Big Vito, who is on the phone. Primo asks Vito for another chance. Vito says he gave him a job and he screwed it up. Primo says he wants to prove he can make the best pizza and he will study tape. Vito says he needs to face PCO in a Sicilian Street Fight. Primo says, "But I'm from Naples". Vito says, "Who gives a sh!t where you're from you stupid b@stard". Vito then tells him he has a job for him. He then gives him a fish wrapped in a newspaper and says it's the kiss of death for the boss. He says it's from The Godfather. He says to deliver it to the brothers, in the streetfight and then you're in. Primo throws the fish and Vito says not to as it's bad luck. He then tells him, "your pizza's burning you dumb b@stard".

Thoughts: This was hilarious. We need more Vito and Primo interactions. I think Primo's finally found his gimmick here.

J-Rod comes out and says "three way my @ss". She says she took out Dani Mo and says it's now up to Big Al.

"Big Al" Alice Crowley vs J-Rod vs Dani Mo

Dani does not come out as this starts due to J's beating on her. J pounds on Al and hits forearms on her. Al's head is banged off the buckles. Al boots her out of the corner. Al rolls into a codebreaker on her. Al his chest clubs and chops on Al. 

J hits snake eyes on Al. J knee lifts her and stomps on her. J suplexes her. J chinlocks her and gets on her back. J is pushed into the buckles and Al lariats her. Al forearms her and pump kicks her. Al backdrops her for 2. Al olympic slams her for 2.

The ref argues with J. J says "that was 3". J grabs brass knucks, the ref goes to take them and she hits the ref with them. Dani Mo comes out and grabs her arm. Al pounds on J. J is double teamed. J takes a double dropkick to the knees. Al drops Dani onto J. They then high five each other. 

Al is pulled out. Dani high kicks J then cutters her for the win.

Thoughts: This was a fun turn of events with Dani not even being able to make it to the match then pulling off the win and working with Al. They did a nice job with this here and they put over J well as a tough one.

Al gives Dani a banana after. She then shoves it in J's mouth. Dani and Al then pose on the stage together.

The Brothers of Funstruction laugh in the back. They laugh at Vito being dressed up like a juggalo. Luigi Primo then comes in and says he has a delivery from Vito. The Brothers then see  the dead fish in the newspaper. They say they are going to be sleeping with the fishes and say they are still after them. The one says they need to get out of here and go.

 Mac Davis interviews Jeeves. Jeeves says tonight is tonight but the moment is not yet. He says there's a main event player in the limo and says we have to wait until the main event to find out tonight.

We get another Red Love/Father Bronson video with a bunch of different clips to start. Red picks up a phone call. He says he values our time and we are practically family now. He thanks us for accepting his as his one  true leader. He says that's what Red Love is all about. He says he's thankful for all of us. We get the usual cutaways during this and a logo that says 4.18.26.

Barnabus is with The Outbreak in the back. Barn says they are addicts and used to be tag champs. The Outbreak are looking something in various bags. The Outbreak chase Barnabus away.

Mac Davis interviews J-Rod. J-Rod says it took a 2v1 to go against her. She says she will bring a new and bigger partner with her at Stranglemania. She says she will bring her own ref too. She dares Big Al to put her title on the line.

Vince Russo talks to Caleb Konley in the back. Russo asks why he attacked CoKane. Caleb says he did what needed done. Russo says he went into business for himself and needs to trust him. He says if he gets past Nic Nemeth in 2/3 falls, they will talk CoKane after.

Jasmine St. Claire interrupts. She asks what Russo was saying about disbanding The Monster Corporation. Russo says their performance hasn't been up to par and says they could be more valuable as individual wrestlers. Jas asks for one more chance to show who they really are. Vince says he will allow it due to her reputation. Vince says it's her reputation though and says to change his mind.

Sicilian Street Fight - Luigi Primo vs PCO

PCO knocks him over. Primo tosses his pizza around. Primo dropicks him and hits him with the pizza dough. PCO throws him down. PCO hits punches in the corner and clubs him while he lays on top. Primo's chest is banged off the apron edge and PCO elbows him in the chest. 

Weapons are thrown in. Primo hits PCO with a chooke sheet, a rake and a trash can. PCO punches the trash can into Primo's face. Primo swings a rake at him and PCO breaks it. PCO drops him with the rake. PCO running lariats him. PCO teases a moonsault but doesn't do it. PCO sharpshooters him and submits him.

Thoughts: It went like it should have with Primo goofing around, being unable to make any dents in PCO and PCO taking him out easy. They kept it short and it made sense.

Mac Davis interviews Steven Flowe. He says he doesn't know what he was thinking when he hit CoKane last week. The Outbreak come in and look for drugs on Mac and Flowe. CoKane then grabs Flowe. Flowe says he's sorry and CoKane backs off. 

Mac Davis interviews Big Al and Dani Mo. Mac says J-Rod will have a special ref and a mystery partner at Stranglemania and wants a title shot. Dani says Al will of course put the title on the line and says they will see her there. Al is shocked but says nothing and walks away with Dani.

Ruffo is looking for Yabo. He says the fish in the newspaper is serious stuff. He can't find him and is freaking out.

The St. Claire Monster Corporation (Beastman, Mr. Happy and Kongo Kong) vs Disco Ray and The Brothers of Funstruction (Yabo and Ruffo)

Yabo does not come out with Ruffo.

Ray tries to dance with Happy. Happy liks it and shakes the tamborine with him. They dance around and Beast tags himself in. Happy won't give up the tamborine. Yabo hits punches on Beast then mocks his selling. Yabo calls for the Hulk fist but Ray doesn't have it. Yabo runs to the back.

Beast throws Ray in. Ray dropkicks him from behind. Ray backhands Kong. Ray kicks the tamborine out of Happy's hand. Happy charges him. The Ring Rat then shows her body off to the heels. Jasmine St. Claire comes in and pushes The Ring Rat down. She then catfights her. Happy fire thunder drivers Ray. Beast pumphandle slams Ray. Kong top rope swantons Ray and pins him.

Thoughts: The Happy stuff with Ray was entertaining. Ray got destroyed here and he took a real whooping near the end.

Ruffo is looking for Yabo in the back and can't find him. He thinks they got him. 

Mac Davis interviews Facade. Fac says he's been in multi-man matches all his career. He says he will keep and defend the title and doesn't care what he has to do in order to do it. 

2/3 Falls Match - Nic Nemeth vs Caleb Konley

Vince Russo is on commentary for  this

1st Fall - Cal backs up Nick in the corner. Nic takes him down. Cal snamares him and goes for the pin. Nic tries more pins. Nic chases him around the ring. Cal punches him down then stomps on him. Cal legsweeps him then sliding lariats him for 2. Cal chops him down. Nic hits punches and Cal rakes his back. Nic dropkicks him and misses a corner splash. Cal sends him into the post shoulder first and pins him while holding the tights. 

2nd Fall - Nic's head is banged off the buckles and he is choked on the 2nd rope. Nic rolls him up for 2 and is back elbowed. Cal armlocks him. Nic eye rakes him and stomps his foot. Cal backhands him, atomic drops him and flatliners him for 2. Nic punches him then hits a danger zone. Nic pins him.

3rd Fall - They trade shots on their knees. Nic hits a flurry. Cal rolls into a shotei. Nic jumping ddt's him for 2. Nic sunset flips him for 2 and Cal tries a pin attempt. Nic fameassers him for 2. Cal blocks a superkick and sends him into the post. Cal rolls him up for 2. Nic superkicks him for 2. Vince Russo goes to ringside and is yelling at Cal to focus.

Cal blocks Nic's danger zone then low blows him. Cal goes for the pin and Kerry Morton comes in. Kerry eye rakes Cal and they call in a No Contest.

Thoughts: It was one of the better wrestling matches on here. Russo was good as Caleb's cheerleader and they had a competitive match. Win or lose, this helped out Caleb. Kerry coming in makes sense.

Russo yells at Kerry. Kerry teases doing a superkick to Nic but doesn't. Russo calls Kerry a punk and Kerry tells him to suck his d*ck. 

JCW World Title - CoKane (c) vs Shane Mercer

Kane runs the ramp and flying lariats SM over the top. Kane hits mounted shots and punches in the corner. Kane slides out of a lariat. Kane is caught off a moonsault. SM gorilla press throws him on the ramp.

Kane's head is banged off the ramp then he is knocked off the ramp. SM is pushed off the steps. Kane is swept on the apron. SM powerbombs him on the steps. Kane's head is put between the rail rung's. SM then dropkicks him in the butt, sending him face first into them more. 

Kane hits punches. They grab each other by the throat. SM rams him into the corner. SM pop-up fallaway slams him into the ropes. SM chinlocks Kane. Kane then takes a swinging sleeper down to the mat. Kane gets his hand up on the 3 count. Kane does jawbreakers and escapes.

Kane blue thunders SM. Kane facekicks the ref when SM pulls the ref in the way. Kane boots SM out of the corner. Kane is up top and SM back pele kicks him. Kane hits a big powerbomb. Steve Flowe comes down with his guitar. He then nails CoKane with it even though he was feuding with SM before. SM pulls the ref in and only gets a 2 count.

Kane is on the 2nd rope and he does cocaine. Kane chokeslams him off the buckles and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't love Steven Flowe interfering since he doesn't like either of these guys. The match was decent though with SM throwing Kane around and Kane surviving lots of obstacles to win.

Mac Davis interviews Jeeves. Jeeves says there's no more action tonight, just ratings. He says the moment we have been waiting for is about to happen. Jeeves opens up a door and says it's time. We see the mystery person's shoes only and he kind of does a dance.

Blast from the Past

This is the JCW debut of Shockwave the Robot. He teams with 2 Tuff Tony vs The Headbangers. Tony picks up the win with punches to the face while his hands are on fire.

CoKane is looking for Steven Flowe in the back. He's opening doors wildly and pushes the camera away.

The commentators talk and The Outbreak walk over.

Mac Davis interviews Vampiro. Big Vito hits Vamp from behind. He knees him in the gut and pounds on him in the hallway. He says he told him this isn't over and says he won't get the best of him. Vito is then hit with a kendo stick. PCO walks away and says "Stranglemania".

Violent J comes out to talk. He talks about Stranglemania on 4/17. He talks about the show with Mickie Knuckles vs Kerry Morton, the JCW American Title 6-Way Scramble, Vampiro vs Vito vs PCO in Vampiro's retirement match, The Outbreak vs The Brothers of Funstruction and Matt Riddle vs Nic Nemeth vs Caleb Konley vs CoKane in a 4-way elimination match.

J says JCW acquired the rights to a wrestling superstar. Jeeves comes out. Jeeves said they made the biggest deal in the history of JCW. He then brings out EC3.

EC3 comes out. He says it's an honor to be in the ring with Violent J. He says it's an honor to main event the biggest match in JCW history for the title. He hugs Jeeves. EC3 promises to call the match down the middle on 4/17. He makes jokes about Russo's finger poke of doom. He says they are going chicken hunting on 4/17.

Thoughts: They overhyped EC3 a bit but they tried to make him seem like a star at least.

We then cut a video and Yabo is all tied and screaming for daddy.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer show at 2 hours and 14 minutes. I prefer when they keep these under 90 minutes. They did fill the time out well though. We got good promos from Violent J, Luigi and Vito's segment was funny and the wrestling was a lot better than usual. EC3 didn't quite meet the amount of hype they gave him but at least they tried. It was a good show and they did a nice job of hyping up the 4/17 Stranglemania show as well. I'd give this 7 a out of 10. Whatever you were looking for, they had it here and it was a very complete show. They got a lot done on this one and it was one of their best shows yet.
