Reality of Wrestling 4/5/2026 GLORY Episode 22

The last show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/reality-of-wrestling-3292026-platinum.html

Zack Mason asks Warren Johnson if he's ready. Warren says he's busy. Zack says he needs him to focus on the team. Warren says he's here and focused on the team.

"The Future" Will Austin vs Jha'Quan McNair

JM is a WWE ID guy but we still have yet to see him wrestle on Evolve while some of his cohorts are already on NXT.

They lock up and trade waistlocks. JM cartwheels out of a wristlock then wristlocks him. Will knees him in the gut. Will flying back elbows him. JM hits a big dropkick and armdrags him into an armlock. Will hits shots to the gut. JM gutwrench suplexes him then holds on for 2 more suplexes. JM delay suplexes him. Will shoulders him over. JM goes for a crossbody but gets powerslammed for 2. JM is thrown hard into the buckles.

Will kicks him while he's down. JM hits chops. Will backrolls him then springboard tornillo splashes him for 2. Will chinlocks him. JM elbows him in the gut. JM catches his corner splash and belly to belly suplexes him. JM lariats him and leg lariats him. JM's eyelid is busted open. Will cradles him for 2.

Will pump kicks him. JM hits a reverse olympic slam and pins him.

Thoughts: You can see why WWE hired JM in like a few seconds of watching him. He's in phenomenal shape and he moves well. He's also got some charisma to him. This wasn't a bad match and the crowd got into it. JM took a tornillo splash near the face and his eyelid got busted open off of it.

Erik Lockhart is watching his trainee Rhys Maddox in the ring. He tells him to stop worrying about referees. He says if a ref doesn't see something, is it breaking the rules? He says it's not on him to follow the rules, it's up to the ref to enforce them. He says it's not cheating, it's winning. He tells him no more training with others and says he trains with him.

Jonathan Vega vs Daniel Alexandro

They lock up. DA side headlocks him and rakes him on the break. JV wristlocks him and is forearmed. DA knees him in the gut then JV flying headscissors him. JV springboard twisting crossbodies him. JV chops him.

DA backbreakers him for 2. DA slams him for 2. DA chokes him against the 2nd rope. They trade shots and JV is knocked down with a forearm. DA suplexes him for 2. DA waistlocks him.

JV hits back elbows. JV casadora armdrags him. DA full nelson slam's him for 2. JV cradles him for 2. DA lariats him. DA jumping flatliners him and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was an acceptable match. It didn't get too much time and they didn't do any big spots, but they hit their stuff clean.

Semsei is interviewed. He says he's excited but nervous. He says he has seen the challenge ahead of him. He says he told himself he would be a fighting champ when he became Legacy champ. He says he will make Alex Ace bow down to his sensei.

Fly Def (Warren Johnson and Zack Mason) vs Erik Lockhart and Rhys Maddox

Erik and War go at it. War waistlock takedowns him and side headlocks him. Erik reverses it and waistlok takedowns him. He then paintbrushes him (War did that to him earlier). Erik hits corner spears. Erik flips RM into a german on War. War is lariated over the  top. Erik sweeps Zack on the apron then RM cannonballs both of Fly Def off the apron.

RM chinlocks him. War chops him. Erik neckbreakers War. Erik elbow drops him for 2. War boots Erik from the ropes. Erik knocks Zack off the apron. Erik is sent shoulder first into the post.

Zack corner lariats Erik then suplexes him. Zack armlocks Erik. Erik fights off corner attacks. War neckbreakers Erik for 2. Erik jawbreakers out of a chinlock. Erik is blocked from making a tag. Erik hits a double ddt on Fly Def.

RM hits lariats on War and springboard euros him. RM enzugiri's him in the corner. RM top rope crossbodies him. RM flying pumping knees War for 2. War rolls up RM for 2. War spin kicks him in the gut. RM step up enzugiri's him. Erik is tagged in.

Erik has War in the electric chair. Zack blocks he double team and Erik is pushed into Zack. War trips Erik then buzzsaw kicks him. Zack holds up Erik in the air and Warren superkicks Zack on purpose! Erik lands on Zack and pins him.

Thoughts: Whoa. Fly Def have been teaming together for almost 9 years and are ROW's top team. Them turning on each other so suddenly is shocking. I do think they could have done this turn a lot better as at least through their youtube shows, there wasn't a ton of explanation for it. I liked the match though as both teams can go and Rhys/Erik are a decent duo.

Warren is frustrated and shocked in the ring. Warren sits down and stares at Zack.

ROW Legacy Title - Semsei (c) vs Alex Ace

Ace is a big dude and has to be close to 7 foot tall. Ace corner splashes him from behind then kind of does a powerbomb for 2. Sem hits chops then hits a nice high dropkick. Sem is caught off the top. Sem hurricanrana's him over the top. Sem then hits a great suicide dive.

Sem is caught jumping off the apron and he is chokeslammed on the apron. Ace clubs on Sem then hits a big punch. Ace corner splashes him then slams him. Ace legdrops him. Sem hits kicks to the leg then spin kicks him in the gut. Sem boots Ace out of the corner.

Sem top rope head chops Ace. Ace grabs him by the throat and hits a big chokeslam for 2. Ace misses a 2nd rope elbow drop. Sem spin kicks him and dropkicks him in the knee. Sem pump kicks him in the face and wins.

Thoughts: It was a fun little big vs small match. Ace does the usual big man offense but he did fine with it and he's pretty easy to buy as a threat. Sem showed a little more fire than usual here and this worked out well.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual solid ROW show. All 4 matches were decent here and we had a big development with Fly Def breaking up. I thought this was fun and pretty easy to watch. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and would recommend it.
