Master Wato, Shota Umino, Toru Yano & YOH vs. House Of Torture (Chase Owens, SHO, Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Yujiro Takahashi)

Yoh talks on the mic before the match. The heels attack before it starts as usual. Yoh is stomped on. Yoh then dropkicks Sho. Wato hits chest kicks on Sho then bulldogs him. Wato spin kicks Sho in the gut. Sho bangs Wato's knee off the mat then he leglocks him.

Kanemaru dropkicks Wato in the knee then yanks his leg. Wato has his legs split then Yujiro headbutt drops him for 2. Chase knee drops Wato's leg then pulls on it. Chase slaps him around then double throat thrusts him. Wato leg lariats him.

Shota comes in and hits a slam. Shota fights of the heels then dropkicks Kanemaru. Shota hits chops and forearms on Chase. Shota running euros him. Chase back body drops him. Chase rebound germans Shota. Shota forearms Chase down. 

Chase back elbows Shota then Shota tornado ddt's him. Yujiro and Yano get in. Yano takes off the turnbuckle pad and gives it to Yujiro. He then hits him from behind. Yano takes running corner attacks then Yujiro headbutts him in the crotch for 2. 

Yujiro misses a cane shot on Yano. Kanemaru step up enzugiri's Yano. Kanemaru spits mist at Yujiro on accident. Yano then rolls up Yujiro and pins him.

Thoughts: It was your usual throwaway bout that we have seen a thousand times. Shota is really being wasted being in these types of matches. It wasn't anything special. The heels cheated and the faces were able to overcome them in the end. 

Masatora Yasuda, Ryusuke Taguchi & Taichi vs. United Empire (Francesco Akira, Great-O-Khan & HENARE)

Taguchi tries to fire up then is scared when he sees Henare. Taguchi shakes in place and the crowd cheers him on. Taguchi tries chops then flying hip attacks him. Taguchi makes Hen run the ropes then Hen makes him run the topes until he tires out. Henare sentons him for 2. Hen hits forearms on Taguchi then shoulders him over.

Akira atomic drops Taguchi. Akira standing moonsaults him. Taguchi is thrown out and beaten up inside. Khan ducks Taguchi's punch. Taguchi bangs Khan's head into his butt. Taguchi 2nd rope hip attacks him.

Tai gets in. He hits backhands on Khan. Khan mongolian chops him. Tai side headkicks him. Khan bites Tai's shoulders. Khan drops him face first on the mat. Akira comes in and hits forearms on Tai. He knees him in the gut. Akira flying headscissors Tai.

Akira running lariats Tai then Tai facekicks him. Yasuda comes in and hits shorts on Akira. He suplexes him three times. Akira takes a side slam + chop combo. Yasuda is flipped onto Akira off the top for 2. Yasuda chops Henare then Henare grabs him and Taguchi by the chin. Tai then chokes Henare.

Akira double throat thrusts Yasuda and Yasuda cradles him for 2. Akira rolls up Yasuda. Akira does a weird grounded head and armlock to him and submits him.

Thoughts: Taichi was good and helped this one out. Taguchi did his usual comedy which was only so effective. Yasuda got to do more offense than usual but he looked hesitant. It was a mix and match of various different wrestlers and the result was average.

Aaron Wolf, Oleg Boltin, Tiger Mask & Togi Makabe vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo, Don Fale, DOUKI & Ren Narita)

Togo nails Tiger from behind and sends him out. Douki hits Tiger with a pipe outside. Tiger is pulled out again and sent into the rails. Fale and Wolf get in. Fale takes a corner lariat then Wolf elbow drops him. Wolf is then pulled out and hit.

Kanemaru stomps Tiger and Ren sends Oleg into the seats. Douki unties Tiger's mask. Tiger is ganged up on outside. Tiger's head is banged off the buckles. Fale hits tiger in the corner and foot chokes him.

Togo suplexes Tiger for 2. Ren 2nd rope double axe handles Tiger. Ren eye rakes Tiger on the ropes. Tiger chops him then tiger drivers him. 

Oleg gets in and pounces Ren. Oleg corner splashes Ren. Ren eye rakes him and armbars him. Togi and Oleg hit mounted corner punches. Togo and Ren are sent into each other and take lariats. Oleg chops Ren then Ren rolling armbars him. Oleg ropebreaks.

Oleg belly to belly suplexes Ren. Tiger and Douki get in. Tiger hits punches on him then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him for 2. Tiger hits punches and slaps him outside. Douki is in the aisle and Yano comes back out and throws him in. Tiger pounds on Douki then everyone in the match fights. Yano gets involvedi n the fight as well. The ref then calls it off.

Thoughts: It wasn't very good as expected with the usual HoT cheating and it was obvious just by looking at the line-up. Wolf should have lost weight but he instead seems to have gained weight.

Douki unmasks Tiger after and Yoh/Wato/Shota come to over him up. Tiger talks on the mic after with a jacket over his head and he wants a lumberjack match against Douki for the Jr. Title.

Tomoaki Honma & Yuya Uemura vs. TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa)

Oiwa and Yuya go at it. They trade basic holds. Oiwa upkicks him away. Oiwa side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Yuya armdrags him into an armlock. Oiwa elbows him out of the corner then is armdragged. Yuya throws him over by the wrist. Oiwa trips him then twists the leg. Yuya armdrags him. 

Oiwa takes him down by the leg then pulls on it. Oiwa armdrags him and Yuya headscissors him. They stand off. Honma and Hart shoulder battle. They trade forearms. Hart shoulders him over. Hart misses a senton. Honma misses a falling headbutt drop. 

Honma takes running corner attacks then is double suplexed. Hart corner splashes, lariats and sentons Honma. Honma hits headbutts on him then rocket headbutts him for 2. Yuya forearms Oiwa. Oiwa dropkicks him in the knee. Yuya dropkicks him. 

Honma lariats Hart. Honma sidewalk slams him for 2. Hart death valley drivers him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was sadly a short throwaway. I thought it could have been good if given the time. Both sets of wrestlers got their segment in and it ended. We didn't even get some attempts at near falls. 

Oiwa and Yuya butt heads after.

United Empire (Callum Newman, Jake Lee, Jakob Austin Young & Zane Jay) vs. Unbound Co. (Daiki Nagai, Gedo, Shingo Takagi & Yota Tsuji)

Shingo and Newman go at it. Newman running facekicks him. Shingo shoulders him over and is enzugiri'd. They each hit spunches. Shingo hiptosses him then lariats him over the top. 

Shingo corner lariats Newman. Newman then goes out. Zane gets in and Gedo does too. Zane rubs his head. Gedo slaps him then eye pokes him. Gedo hits punches on Zane and drops him with a punch. Young comes in and Nagai dropkicks him out. 

Zane sends Nagai out and running lariats Gedo. Newman eye rakes Shingo outside. Zane bangs Gedo's head off the buckles. Lee puts his a glove on and sticks his finger in Gedo's mouth. Zane running back elbows Gedo then fallaway slams him. 

Zane slams Gedo. Zane misses a top rope elbow drop on Gedo. Yota comes in and hits forearms on Lee. Yota armdrags him out. Yota throws Newman then topes Lee outside. Yota hits mounted corner elbows on Lee's head. Lee bearhug belly to belly suplexes him. 

Lee slams Yota. Yota facekicks him. Lee knees him in the gut. Nagai chops Young then shoulders him over. Nagai shoulders him hard again then low corner dropkicks him for 2. Nagai dropkicks Young. Nagai standing twisting crossbodies Zane. Young takes corner attacks and a spinebuster for 2. 

Shingo and Newman go at it. They trade some hard shots and Newman buzzsaw kicks him. Nagai dropkicks Newman then Newman lariats Nagai hard. Newman hits a made in Japan on Nagai to mock Shingo. Young hammerlock ddt's Nagai and pins him.

Thoughts: Nagai was good here and did the basics well. It was okay enough but nothing too similar. They definitely pushed Shingo vs Newman here. Jake Lee is still doing a bunch of nonsense that nobody but Jake understands. 

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match - Unbound Co. (Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori) (c) vs. Ichiban Sweet Boys (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles)

RE and Kosei hit dropkicks to start. RE tope con hilos through the ropes. TI takes a t-gimmick or 2. TI takes a springboard dropkick + backdrop combo for 2. X rolls TI into a splash on RE. X dropkicks Kosei for 2. X surfboards Kosei and pulls on his arm during it.

TI shoulderbreakers RE for 2. He then kimura's him. Kosei hits forearms on X. Kosei step up enzugiri's him. RE flying headscissors X then spinning heel kicks him. RE hits chest kicks on X. X is sent into TI. RE does a basement dropkick + low flying lariat combo. 

RE 619 kicks X in the leg in the corner then meteora's him for 2. RE hits leg kicks on X. RE misses a 450 off the top. X goes up top and is high kicked. RE top rope hurricanrana's X but X lands on his feet. 

X sitout powerbombs him for 2. X misses a corkscrew dive off the top. X handstands on a backslide on him. RE spin kicks him in the gut. X flips off of him. X goes for the pele kick and RE Ron Miller Special's him. Kosei then moonsaults off the apron onto TI outside. X ropebreaks.

RE high kicks and superkicks him. X moonsaults and goes for a powerbomb but RE counters with a hurricanrana. X and RE facekick each other at the same time. X handspring cutters him. TI and Kosei trade chops. Kosei blocks a TI corkscrew kick off the ropes and goes for a surfboard. TI ropebreaks.

TI drops Kosei chest first onto the knees. Kosei hurricanrana's TI. TI hits Kosei with a sliding german. X running ssp's Kosei and TI 450's Kosei off the top for 2. 

Kosei hits an armdrag + headscissors takeover. Kosei release germans TI. TI hits chops on RE. RE facekicks him. TI rolling death valley drivers him and superkicks him. TI kind of TKO's him into a double knee. TI is held for a cutter for 2. RE is up top and X cartwheels into a backflip kick on him. 

X and Kosei chop each other. KF catches his flip with a wheelbarrow german. X springboard kicks him. X takes a powerbomb + top rope sliced bread combo. TI takes chops from both opponents then a double kick. TI fights off the 1v2. RE superkicks Kosei on accident. TI flying knees RE then handspring cutters him. TI la mistica's RE and they each try pins. TI cradles him for 2. 

RE flips him into a bomb from the backpack position for 2. Kosei rope walk 450's. RE top rope 450's TI's leg then does the Ron Miller Special. TI then taps out.

Thoughts: RE worked X's leg some here then ended up winning with a submission on TI's legs. Go figure. They had some nice highspots and flying as expected. I thought it would have been a little better if it was shorter as it got a little stale by the end. It was a flawed bout but I'd still say it was acceptable due to some of the action being good.

IWGP Tag Team Title Match - Knockout Brothers (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice) (c) vs. Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI)

Goto and Ice trade forearms to start. Goto shoulders him over then hits forearms in the corner. Ice forearms him over. Goto pulls Os over the top rope then he hiptosses Yoshi onto Ice. Ice is double clubbed on. Goto and Yoshi double foot choke Ice. Ice hits forearms on Yoshi. 

Ice facekicks Goto then bangs his head off the buckles. Os chops Goto. Ice hits Goto in the gut for 2. Ice kicks Goto in the back. Os camel clutches Goto and Goto ropebreaks. Os misses a running elbow in the corner then misses a legdrop. Yoshi comes in and running back elbows Os.

Yoshi corner lariats Os. Yoshi hits chops and forearms on Os. Os waistlock slams him and elbow drops him on the lower back. Yoshi ddt's Os. Os slams Yoshi. Ice stomps Yoshi then forearms him down. Yoshi dropkicks him in the knee. Goto comes in and hits shots on Ice. Goto shoulders him over. Goto elbow drops Ice for 2. Ice slaps Goto then meteora's him in the corner for 2.

Goto blocks Ice's PK. Goto ushigoroshi's him. Ice takes a superkick into an ushogoroshi. Goto lariats Os then Yoshi superkicks Os. Os double lariats his opponents. Yoshi is bridged on the 2nd rope and Goto lariat slices him down. Goto chest kicks Ice down. Goto hits a GTW on him for 2.

Ice lariats Goto down. Yoshi and Os tag in. Os shoulders him over. Yoshi is thrown hard into the buckles. Yoshi is held for a forearm then he takes a double team powerbomb. Ice PK's Yoshi. Yoshi rolls up Os for 2. Goto PK's Os. Os takes a corner lariat and a corner spinning heel kick. Os is held for a top rope diving bulldog from Goto for 2.

Yoshi running lariats Ice. Yoshi corner lariats Os then superkicks him. Yoshi running lariats Os for 2. Yoshi superkicks Os then fisherman busters him for 2. Os takes running corner lariats. Os takes a russian legsweep + top rope diving headhunter. Yoshi codebreakers Os and Os takes a double team elbow slice bomb for 2. 

Goto is pushed into Yoshi. Goto and Yoshi trade forearms. Ice high kicks Goto. Goto takes a tombstone + head kick. Os is pushed into Ice and Yoshi rolls up Os for 2. Ice basement dropkicks Yoshi. Yoshi takes a headkick + running tombstone and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a decent main. There was nothing too great here though. I didn't think the heels got to dominate enough to get the faces ready for a big comeback. The work was fine but it was more of an even match. Yoshi and Goto did their double teams and probably got more offense in here than they should have.

Overall thoughts: The undercard was garbage as usual with Yano and House of Torture doing their old routines. Yuya Uemura's tag was going okay but then it ended at like 10 minutes. United Empire vs Unbound was okay. The IWGP Jr. Tag Title Match had flaws but I still liked it due to some of the action. The main was a decent main but I thought it would have been better if Bishamon got beaten down more then made a big comeback. I'd give it a 4 out of 10. The top two matches were really the only things that somewhat delivered and it wasn't enough while a lot of NJPW's best talent were stuck in multi-man tags. It was below average.
