WWE NXT Women's Title - Tatum Paxley (c) vs Alba Fyre

There is a giant inflatable Tatum doll near ringside. Alba wristlocks TP. TP tries to arm throw her but AF cartwheels out. TP guillotines her and TP cartwheels out of an arm throw. TP flips into a waistlock on her. TP dropkicks her then trips her for 2. 

They go out and TP is sent into the steps. Alba chokes TP over the 2nd rope. Alba boots TP in the gut. Alba gordbusters her and superkicks her for 2. Alba kicks her in the back and ribs. TP rolls up Alba for 2. TP then lariats her down.

Alba chinlocks TP. TP throws Alba by the arm. TP superkicks Alba. TP hits forearms on Alba then step up enzugiri's her. TP flipping legdrop her over the back of the neck. TP misses a top rop 450. TP baseball slides Alba outside.

TP is sent into the buckles and is hit with a gori bomb for 2. TP hits chops on Alba. Alba rolls up TP with her feet on the ropes but is caught by the ref. TP koppo kicks Alba and pins her with a cemetery drive.

Thoughts: It was average. They didn't do anything too crazy here given the circumstances. TP won as expected as she was not losing her title on this one.

Lillian Garcia asks if we want to see more. She says they have matches set up for us into Monday, which is cool.

Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) vs The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin)

Alex and Ax lock up. Alex wristlocks him. Ax headflips out and snapmares him. Alex wristlocks him and hammerlocks him. Alex armdrags him and sweeps him twice. Ax reverse headscissors him then dropkicks him out. Sabin and NF get in. Sabin hammerlocks him.

NF flips out of a snapmare then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Alex knees NF in the gut. NF enzugiri's Alex. Alex takes a low ddt from NF. Ax is thrown into a dropkick. The Guns take stereo flying knees out. Ax and NF jump out and get superkicked on the floor. Alex cravates Ax. 

Ax hits Alex in the gut. Sabin slingshot swantons Ax for 2. Sabin does a grounded octopus on Sabin. Ax takes running corner attacks. Ax is tripped into an elbow drop on the back. Sabin armlocks Ax. Ax hits forearms on Alex. Alex knees him in the gut. 

Ax takes a double back elbow then elbow drops. Ax takes a splash + knee drop for 2. Alex top rope double axe handles Ax's back. Alex drops Ax with a spinning forearm. Sabin facekicks Ax out.

Alex bangs Ax's arm off the apron. Ax uses the apron to flip into an armdrag on Alex outside. NF topes The Guns. NF slingblades Sabin for 2. NF trips NF into a ddt on Alex for 2. Sabin top rope crossbodies Ax and NF. NF takes a magic killer for 2.

NF takes shots from his opponents. NF superkicks Sabin in the face. Sabin takes a top rope dropkick + leg sweep for 2. Sabin superkicks NF. Ax is held for a baseball slide from The Gun's. NF takes a superkick to the gut and a coriolis. Alex pins NF.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. It was what you would expect with double teams, a little flying and some fast action. I had figured Axiom's team would win and was a bit shocked to see them lose.  

Overall thoughts: There were only 2 matches here. They have matches every year at these events but they usually aren't taped. Us getting to see them is a nice treat even is they weren't anything super great. The women's match was average but the men put out a decent effort given the level of this one. There was nothing you need to see here but it was an okay way to spend 20 minutes or so.
