Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/aaa-on-fox-4112026.html
We are in Monterrey, Mexico. Corey Graves, JBL and Rey Mysterio are on commentary.
El Mesias, Lince Dorado & Mecha Wolf vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento, Nobu San & Takuma)
They say this is Japan vs Puerto Rico but Lince wasn't born in PR. Wolf was just on JCW Lunacy a week ago and Mesias has been in PR for IWA Puerto Rico.
Lince boots Nobu on the handshake and slaps him. They trade armdrags then try to dropkick each other at the same time. Nobu dropkicks him. Nobu slams Lince twice.
Takuma and Wolf get in. Takuma hits chops and slaps on Wolf. Wolf pump kicks Takuma. Takuma spinning ddt's Wolf. Takuma hits kicks on Wolf. Mesias and Kento go at it. Mesias chops him and Kento chops back. Kento hits forearms and Mesias punches him. Kento slaps him then dropkicks him in the knee.
Mesias takes a triple basement dropkick for 2. Mesias short arm lariats Kento. Wolf suplex throws Takuma outside. Mesias hits corner lariats on Kento. Kento takes corner attacks then a Mesias powerslam for 2. Kento chops Wolf and Wolf headbutts him. Wolf suplexes him then does like a snap jackhammer.
Lince backrakes and backcrackers Kento. Mesias hits back elbows on Kento. Mesias low diving lariats him for 2. Mesias boots Kento. Kento chops him then enzugiri's him. Nobu comes in and dropkicks Wolf and Lince. Nobu shakes the ropes then headbutts Mesias in the chest. Takuma springboard dropkicks Mesias. Nobu is double gorilla pressed onto Mesias outside.
Kento then top rope plancha's Lince outside. Takuma blind walks up the ropes and top rope moonsaults outside (The Valiente Special). Nobu suplexes Mesias for 2. Mesias hits a double spear. Mesias powerbombs Takuma. Kent jumps off Takuma's back and neckbreakers Mesias. Lince and Kento trade chops.
Lince takes a double superkick. Lince handspring double cutters The Japanese. Wolf topes Kento then Lince tope con hilos through the ropes onto Nobu. Mesias flatliners Takuma and pins him.
Thoughts: It was an interesting tag. We had some different styles here and no real heels or faces so the crowd was kind of the judge, jury and executioner here. Nobu was fun as the undersized face and we got a decent bit of flying. This shouldn't have worked at all but it was fun and something different. I do think some quick intro videos on these guys would have been nice though for people who don't know them.
Nathan Frazer is trying to read Spanish in the back and says it's not going well to Axiom. Frazer says AAA wants to take the trios division global and he will be the captain of Team UK. Axiom says he was asked to lead Team European Union. Frazer says that's great that they will be on the same team. Ax says Team European Union will face Team UK. Frazer asks what that means and Ax says that means "good luck, you'll need it".
AAA Reina de Reinas Title Match - Flammer (c) vs. Sussy Love
Flam is on her 966th day as champ.
Flam waistlocks Love then throws her down. Flam stomps her back. Flam armdrags her then sweeps her. Love sweeps her back and they stand off. Flam shoves her. Flam hits some shots on her. Love high kicks her. Flam is stuck on the 2nd rope and Love springboard elbow drops her down. Love then topes Flam.
Flam goes to side step a dive but Love doesn't dive. Love grabs her by the hair and is pulled into the ropes. Flam flying forearms her. Flam camel clutches her. Flam knees her in the face. Love superkicks her in the gut and 2nd rope springboard crossbodies her. Love step up enzugiri's her and release germans her.
Love flying knees Flam in the corner. Flam is laid on the 2nd rope. Love backrolls on the top rope and double knee drops her. Love moonsaults her off the buckles for 2. Flam codebreakers her then basement dropkicks her against the ropes for the pin.
Thoughts: It was a mostly good showing for Love. She has a decent look and she flew a little here. It was average to acceptable. Flam won as expected as she is probably keeping that belt for a long time and will not be losing it on a smaller show like this.
Penta does a taped video. He says a lot has happened in the last year with him being in WWE and WWE buying AAA. He says AAA is in the hands of the best company in the world. He says the wrestlers here could be in WWE at any time and he's happy to be part of the process. He says his brother is the best wrestler in the world to him and what better than to have him pat o the process. He say he wants to see Rey Fenix win a title.
He says he never imagined returning to AAA and says his way to say thanks is to defend his IC Title in Mexico. He says it will happen on 4/11. He says he doesn't want to lose to El Hijo del Vikingo. He says he will humiliate him once again because he is Penta and has no fear.
Charlie Dempsey, Nathan Frazer & Tristan Angels vs. Axiom, Dorian Van Dux & Elio LeFleur
This is the WWE TV and AAA TV debut of Tristan Angels. He will be wrestling on Evovle for the first time this week.
Ax rolls out of CD's wristlock. CD tries again. Ax trips him then pulls his arms backwards. CD lifts Ax by the arm and armbars him off of it. CD switches between various holds and Ax tries an armbar. Ax does an octopus and CD ropebreaks. Ax kicks CD on the break.
Ax overhead suplexes CD. TA gets in and he tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Ax. Dux comes in and flying headscissors him. Elio jumps off of Dux's back and headscissors TA. Dux pops up Elio into a splash on TA.
Elio side headlocks NF then springboard headlock takeovers him. NF flips over him off the top. Elio flips over NF then NF flying kicks him. NF pulls Elio's neck forward. NF wristlocks Elio. TA suplexes Elio. Elio sits on the 2nd rope and TA double stomps him down.
CD knees Elio in the gut then cravates him. CD wheelbarrow germans Elio for 2. CD holds Elio for a low dropkick from NF. NF comes off the 2nd rope and is caught with a twisting neckbreaker.
Dux is tagged in and he springboard elbows TA. He hits lariats on TA then corner splashes him. Dux running backdrops TA. Dux double jump moonsaults but TA moves. Dux double jump os cutters him for 2. Dux is up top and is springboard kicked by TA.
CD top rope double underhook suplexes Dux. Elio breaks the pin up with a springboard splash. Ax and NF get tagged in at the same time. They stare down. NF superkicks Ax. NF asai moonsaults and Ax superkicks him in mid-air. NF superkicks Ax for 2. Ax spanish flies NF off the top for 2. TA buckshot lariats Elio.
CD swinging backbreakers Ax. Dux lariats CD. NF slingblades Dux. Elio hits a springboard flying knee. Dux gorilla press throws Ax outside onto his partners. Dux suicide dives outside. Elio headscissors drops TA and pins him.
Thoughts: It was a good tag full of high flying action with a fast pace. The crowd enjoyed it and it helped everyone out here. NF and Elio worked so well together at such a high speed and now I really want to see them go at it. Angels has a good look but he's a lot bulkier than he lets on and he didn't totally fit in here.
Las Toxicas talk. Flammer says next week will be the biggest celebration in history as she becomes the longest reigning women's champ.
Overall thoughts: It was a bit of a weird episode. We had a lot of newer faces on this program and they were just kind of thrown out there. Without doing a big graphic or announcement, they mentioned that there's going to be some kind of international trios tournament coming up, hence why so many new faces were on the show. We don't know anything else yet though about that. It was not a storyline heavy show and most of the weekly stars were not on this show. The wrestling here was good though. The first match was put in a position to fail but somehow they made it work and Nobu-san of all people ended up getting put over some. That match ended up being fun. Flammer/Sussy was average but Love has a decent look and probably offers enough as a package to be used again. The main event was good. It was all flying and fast paced action and it worked out well. I would give this a 6 out of 10 as it was a wrestling heavy episode and kind of a show you could miss, but it ended up being good.
