EPW Wrestling 3/28/2026 Episode #235

EPW Wrestling 3/28/2026 Episode #235

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/epw-wrestling-3212026-episode-234.html

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are on commentary.

Tonight has the big title match between Dorian Vain and Aaron Roberts.

EPW Commissioner K-Swiss comes out. He wants Daniel Nova out here right now. We go to break and return. Jaxx Roxx talks to K-Swiss. Swiss tells Nova to come out here like the man he claims to be. Swiss accuses him of being scared and says he's not so tough, just like his father.

Daniel Nova comes out. He says he doesn't care about the show or TV, he just cares about sticking his foot up his...He then grabs him and goes to hit him. Moses Cain grabs Nova from behind with a choke. Swiss asks how Nova likes that. Swiss says this is about him and Nova. He says everything he says is true. He says he made EPW better and made the company what it is. He says Nova is his father's son but will never be his father.

Swiss says the best thing Nova's dad did for the company was disappear. He says he's glad he's gone as now he can destroy the last bit of his dad. He says now he gets to destroy Nova. Swiss says he will always be better than Nova's dad. Swiss says he is EPW and says this is his show and this is a place where Nova's family doesn't belong. He says this is a fight Nova can't win. He tells Nova to remember what just happened.

Thoughts
: The main problem with this one was that if you didn't see the tweets that started this, you wouldn't know what happened. And I didn't get to see the tweets so I didn't know. A photo of the tweets would have helped a lot. From what I can gather and remember, Nova's dad Bonecrusher was an authority figure in EPW. He passed away recently. I think he had issues with K-Swiss, and that's what Swiss was referencing here. Swiss did a good job as the heel though here and did what he was supposed to.

Marko Harris vs Kale

They go to fight and Grayson Pierce's music hits. Pierce doesn't coem up. Kale tries to roll him up for 2. Marko rolls him up for 2 and dropkicks him. Marko slingblades him for 2. Marko hits chops and boots in the corner. Kale flatliners him into the buckles and facekicks him. Kale backdrops him for 2.

Kale stomps him in the corner and stands on him there. Kale stomps his foot, hits kicks and pele kicks him. Marko hits a big lariat. We go to break and return. Marko hits an ushigoroshi for 2. Kale pale kicks him.

Marko blocks a knee to the face and germans him. Marko 2nd rope so cutters him and wins.

Thoughts: The story here was that Marko was upset by Grayson Pierce's music hitting, so he wasn't on his game. They were successful in selling that to me as Marko got whooped for the first half of this. Kale didn't have a bad showing but I don't know if it was what it could have been.

EPW Women's Title - Lil Bit (c) vs Raven Black

Nyxx is on commentary for this.

RB throws her off the lock up and throws her down. RB catches her crossbody and slams her down for 2. RB short arm lariats her. RB sleepers her on the apron and takes a jawbreaker over the 2nd rope. Bit trip her and chinlocks her. RB waistlock throws her down.

Bit stunners her then crossbodies her for 2. Bit is caught and spinebustered for 2. Bit's face is banged off the mat. RB grabs her beer bottle and goe to hit Bit. Makkari Kandy comes out on the apron. RB challenges her to get in. RB swings the bottle at her. Kandy drops her with a forearm for the DQ.

Thoughts:
This was mostly based around the Black/Kandy feud here which is fine and makes sense. RB threw Bit around before the DQ. They really should get Lil Bit more involved if the show if she will stay champ as she hasn't gotten to do much besides matches.

EPW World Title - Dorian Vain (c) vs Aaron Roberts

AR doesn't come out for his entrance. DV calls for the bell to ring and asks the ref to count him out.  The ref counts to 10 and Vain wins by forfeit/countout.

Thoughts: Well, something is going down here and we will have to see what that is. I was looking forward to that match though and it's not fun when you don't get what you were promised.

Dorian Vain does a promo after. He says he told people Aaron was scared of him and it's the truth. He says he would thrive in any era and is the man. He says he would have main evented with Bockwinkle, Gagne, The Von Erich's and would have whooped Bruno Sammartino.

He says he's why people show up. He says he's not like everyone in the back. He says people like Aaron are scared of him and says Aaron goes to the back of the line. He says that's an executive order.

Overall thoughts: We didn't get the main event we were promised so it's hard to give this a good rating. Yes, we will see it eventually, but that doesn't help us today. We only had 2 matches here. Kale/Harris was based around Harris being distracted and mostly being dominated before picking up the win. We also had a women's match that furthered the Raven/Makkari feud. True, all of this does make sense and did serve a purpose but sometimes that can hurt the matches and that's what happened here. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as I was disappointed by the main event. I wouldn't recommend it, but this show is definitely building to a bigger show down the line.
