We are in Syracuse, NY. Matt Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan are on commentary.

We see Rich Swann and Mike Santana arrive.

Nic Nemeth vs Bear Bronson

Ryan Nemeth is on commentary. Bear backs him up in the corner and pounds on him. Nic hits punches to the gut and chops. Bear slams him. Bear short arm clotheslines him then elbow drops him for 2. Nic hits punches and headbutts. Bear spinebusters him then butt drops him for 2. Alisha chokes Nic on the ropes. 

Bear side slams him for 2. Bear chinlocks him then knees him in the gut. Nic back elbows him. Bear misses a corner splash. Nic hits running lariats and mounted corner punches. Nic fameasser's him for 2. Bear double arm sitout chokebombs him for 2. 

Bear is pushed shoulder first into the post. Nic jumping ddt's him. Bear no sells it then Nic superkicks him for 2. Bear hits a big lariat then cradle shocks him for 2. Bear flurries on him while he's down. The System surround Nic outside. KC Navarro then heads down. Ryan then throws Nic back in. Nic superkicks Bear then he hits a danger zone on him for the pin. Nic wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent bout. Bear's good at this singles match thing and Nic's a good person to be paired with. Bear didn't even have to lose clean here. They were heavily pushing that Ryan Nemeth doesn't like KC Navarro and that he's not a Nemeth.

Rich Swann is interviewed with BDE in the background. Rich says he's got the goosebumps and fire in him. He says he's been working so hard to show that he has the charisma and athleticism to beat the champ. Rich asks BDE to stay back here and take notes as he doesn't want any excuses when he beats Mike. He says everyone will be partying all night long after tonight.

Frankie Kazarian comes out and pretends to be Elijah. He has a guitar. He says he knows he looks like a homeless caveman but he looks like this on purpose. He says being in Syracuse makes him realize how truly bad his life is. He says he went walking as that's all he knows how to do. He says he's sad as he cannot beat Frankie Kazarian. He says he likes to write a song when he has the blues. He goes to sign "Kaz is My Daddy". The lights go out and Elijah shows up in the ring behind him. Eli chokes him with a guitar strap. 

Elijah then takes the guitar. He says they will have a Walk With Elijah Guitar Strap Match. Kaz is choked out. Elijah says they should sing "Syracuse Knows, Frankie Blows". 

EC3 has a chair around his head. He asks Eric Young if he thinks this is how it ends. He says he came back for trial by combat and says that makes Eric the perfect competition. He says this is a return to finish what he started and he's coming for him. He says he's coming.

Tessa Blanchard's crew talks. Tess says they were taken to a place they didn't know existed. Crawford says she thought the accommodations were great. Tess says going somewhere like that changes you and says none of them came back the same. She says there's no more games next week. She says Rosemary's crew took them to their world and next week they will take them into their world.

Matt spraypaints a table with the word "Sacrifice". He says he came here for a sacrifice. 

No DQ Match - Matt Hardy vs Dutch

Dutch clubs on Matt as he enters. Matt hits punches. Dutch blocks a crucifix. Matt hits a side effect on him. Matt hits mounted shots. Dutch is sent into the steps. Dutch's head is banged off the steps. Matt tells him he will be his sacrifice.

We go to break and return. Dutch hits a corner spear. Matt back elbows him. Dutch side slams him. Dutch chinlocks him then misses a splash. Matt ddt's him. Matt hits a twist of fate. Dutch is laid on a table and punched. Matt 2nd rope elbow drops him, knocking him over the table. 

Matt sets up the table against the ring apron and suplexes Dutch through it. Vincent appears from under the ring. Vincent throws a chair in then pulls Matt's arm down over the top. Dutch black hole slams Matt and pins him.

Thoughts: They tried to cover Matt's weaknesses here. It wasn't anything too great but it wasn't awful. Matt trying to send Dutch through the table twice may have been more painful than him going through once.

Dutch pounds on Matt after as Vincent watches. Jeff Hardy then comes out and helps. Jeff hits a twist of fate on him. Jeff then top rope swantons him.  

The Elegance Brand talks to Daria Rae. Daria says Santino is suspended and hopefully he stays gone. George Iceman says he has a vision and shows off Mr. Elegance. Elegance poses. George says Elegance is a future champ. Daria starts to get annoyed. Ash says they want Mr. Elegance to have a match next week. Daria is surprised that's all they want and agrees. The Brand is thrilled and Daria says they are so weird.

TNA Injury Report

Kaz is under evaluation. Trey Miguel is out from a laceration on the knee. Leon Slater is out after last week's match. Mike Santana and Rich Swann are cleared. 

Lei Ying Lee comes out. She apologizes and says her English isn't perfect. She says the night Xia Brookside turned on her was really bad. She says he loves wrestling, TNA and her friends. She says Xia is her best friend and asks why she did that to her. She tells Xia to come out.

Xia Brookside comes out. Xia more blonde hair than usual and is wearing all black. Xia says how dare she call her out when Lee was in the wrong. Xia says how dare she say they are best friends. Xia says it should have been them at Rebellion but Lee got in her way. She says she cost her the match when she showed her the video of her father and wanted to get in her head. Lee talks in Chinese and Xia says she's done translating for her. She says she has no idea about the pressure of being a second generation star. She said she did this all by herself and was alone. 

Xia says he knows how that feels and says she was alone here. She says she wasn't alone when she found her. She says she showed her the video to try and help. She says she's sorry if she hurt her. She says she will always be by her side. 

Xia says she's right and she made a mistake. Xia says her dad never supported her the entire time and says Lee was right. She says Stacks was in her ear talking about Birthright. She says the title meant so much to her and said she thought it was finally her time. Xia says the truth is she is her best friend and she wants to see her win the title as she deserves it. Xia says she accepts her apology and says she's sorry too. They hug and Xia looks at the camera. She then forearms Lee down and hits mounted shots. Xia says they are done and hits a high angle ddt, dropping Lee on her head. Refs come down to break it up.

Thoughts: Because TNA runs more PLE's/PPV's than they can handle, they end up turning people on each other a lot as a way to set up matches. They often seem sudden and don't work and this was one of those cases. The excuse for the turn was pretty weak and the sooner they get past this the better.

Elayna Black vs Katie Arquette

They trade waistlocks and EB throws her down off the waistlock. KA hits Japanese armdrags and EB lariats her. EB poses on the ropes and then sweeps KA on the apron. EB chops her outside. EB springboard double stomps her for 2. 

KA shoulders EB over. EB step up knees KA in the corner then twisting neckbreakers her for the pin.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash with Black winning as expected. There wasn't a lot else to say about this.

Order 4 hosts an International Championship Summit. Ali says someone gets to represent their country tonight and it's Australia (Skyler thinks its New Zealand). Ali says Adam Brooks is selected and says he gets to represent his country next week. Adam says it's a privilege and he will see him next week. He then says some Aussie slang word after and everyone is confused.

The System talk in the back. Bear is mad and knocking stuff over. Brian Myers congratulates Nic Nemeth and says it was a bad night. Bear says it's a mistake that will be corrected. Cedric Alexander says he pinned Leon Slater last week and beat him by DQ as Leon cheated. He says it's only fair that he gets a title match. Eddie says they make mistakes but fix them. Eddie says everyone will find out the hard way that you can't beat The System. 

TNA World Title - Mike Santana (c) vs Rich Swann

They shake hands. Mike backs him up in the corner and clean breaks him. Mike wristlocks him. Rich reverses it. Mike headflips and wristlocks him. Rich kips up and down. Mike waistlock takedowns him. Rich armdrags him and they stand off. 

Rich monkey flips him. Mike armdrags him then they flying headscissors each other. Rich cartwheels out of it. They try to dropkick each other at the same time then stand off. Mike side headlocks him. Rich flying headscissors Mike then corkscrew dropkicks him.

Mike chops him then dropkicks him. Mike alabama slams him then catapults him into the buckles. Mike drops him chest first on the mat and sentons him for 2. They fight outside. Mike bangs Rich's head off the floor.  

We go to break and return. Mike is sat in a chair and kicked. Rich runs around the ring and pump kicks him. Rich then does it again. Rich goes for a 3rd and is superkicked. Mike comes off the top and runs into a superkick.  

Rich goes up top and is hit. Mike walks up the buckles and top rope falcon arrows him. They trade shots. Mike flying lariats him. Mike enzugiri's him. Mike backrolls into a cutter on him for 2. Rich rolls him up for 2 and hits kicks. Mike hits doi fives on him. Mike corner cannonballs him then sitout powerbombs him for 2.

Rich boots him off the ropes then rolls into a jumping lariat. Rich hits punches and swinging neckbreakers him. Rich misses a 2nd rope 450. Rich handspring cutters him for 2. Mike sits up top and Rich jumps to hurricanrana him down. Rich top rope splashes him for 2. Mike alley oops him and Rich canadian destroyers him for 2. 

Rich spin kicks him in the face and Mike spinning lariats him to win.

Thoughts: We all knew Mike would win. The only question was how. They got a lot of time to just have the best match they could. They did alright with both guys hitting their spots clean. It definitely helped out Rich a little. It was an okay match.

Mike offers to help Rich up after and Rich holds his arm up. Daria Rae then gives Mike the title as Carlos Silva is out today. 

Overall thoughts: It was a quicker moving show. The opener was fine. Matt Hardy vs Dutch was just average. Xia tried to explain her turn on Lei Ying Lee and it wasn't that good. Elayna Black won a squash. Santana beat Swann in a full length match and they had an okay bout. It had a bit more in-ring action than usual. I'd  give it a low 6 out of 10 as it was mostly okay. The main was the best match of the night.
