The next big show is WWC Resistencia on 4/25 (today). It has:

WWC Jr. Title - El Hostil Jovan vs Informante (Don't know if it's 1 or 2)

WWC Tag Titles - Los Matadores Celestiales (Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe) (c) vs Los Inmortales (Orly Jr. & Tapia)

WWC Women's Title - Kamila (c) vs Elena Negroni

La Amenaza Bryan talks in the locker room to start. He asks how Ray Gonzalez got his number. He says he's not interested in talking to him. He says Ray asks him if he wants to do Cafe del Milenio. He says he will go on one condition. He says Ray is the first clown of lucha libre. He says he will go only if Ray doesn't turn off his microphone to stop his venting. 

Abel Durant and Axel Cruz welcome us to the show. They say we will have to see what happens with La Amenaza Bryan at Cafe del Milenio.

WWC Tag Titles - Los Matadores Celestiales (Mike Nice & Oscar Benabe)  (c) vs Los Informantes (I and II)

We join this in progress. Orlando Toledo is with The Info's. An Info beats up on Mike then the other boots Mike. Mike is hit with a double stomp. Mike fights back and is hit with a running back elbow. An Info chops and punches Mike in the corner. Info foot chokes him and misses a charge which sends him crotch first into the 2nd rope. The other Info and OB tag in. OB hits punches and chops. OB rebound germans him then spinning headscissors him into a hold. The other Info breaks it up.

Mike is on the buckles and is sent out. OB hits a double dropkick on the heels. OB then tope con hilos them outside. Toledo gives an Info a weapon. OB top rope splashes an Info. Toledo interrupts the count. The other Info then punches OB in the back of the head with brass knucks and pins him.

Pelayo Vazquez, the other ref, comes out and tells the main ref what happened. The match will continue.

The Info's pound on Mike and OB. The Info's go for stereo sunset flips but the faces sit on them. Toledo pulls the ref's legs again to stop the count. Pelayo then slides in and counts a pin for Mike and OB.

Thoughts: This was shown previously on the 3/22 show. What we got wasn't bad. The first finish wasn't super clean but then they fixed it up in the second finish. Pelayo really slid in there well.

Los Inmortales do a promo. They say the ref Pelayo is a wretch. They says Los Matadores lose their titles tonight. They say there is only thing that happens tonight and it's them winning the titles. They say they will prove they have told the truth from day one about Los Matadores not deserving to be champs.

El Hostil Jovan does a promo. He says he needs the fans support and says he doesn't know if he's fighting one Informante or both. He says they are dangerous but he's ready. He says he will prove why he is the best.

Title vs Title - John Hawking vs Tony Leyenda

We join this in progress. Tony suplexes him and waistlocks him. John hits elbows to the gut and they bang heads in the ring. They trade shots. John hits punches and they double lariat each other. John hits punches and hits lariats. John corner splashes him then hits a spear for 2. John boots him and double underhook ddt's him for 2. Tony spinebusters him for 2. John double underhook ddt's him and pins him.

Thoughts: This was also previously shown on the 3/22/26 show. It was average. John really needs to tighten up his offense and make it look a bit more lethal. He's just not connecting much at all. John had a streamer stuck to him here at one point that looked like a piece of toilet paper in a funny moment. Tony had no real shot here once this became a double title match.

Lou Forza does a promo. He says he wants Makabro to understand that there's no turning back.  He says he will suffer the consequences of standing up to him. He says it will be heartbreaking for the kids to see him fall.

El Payaso Makakro does a promo. Makabro says facing him is an honor. He says Lou will fight something he can't control in the ring. He says let's play at La Resistencia.

Street Fight - Intelecto Cinco Estrellas vs Zcion RT1

We join this in progress. Estrellas hits him with a traffic sign outside. RT low blows him then hits him with the sign. RT rips his mask and pounds his head. RT hits him with a baseball bat then hits him in the head with the sign. RT hits him in the head with a chair then hits him in the back with it. 

They trade shots outside and Estrellas knees him in the gut. Estrellas his mounted forearms then chokes him. RT hits him in the head with the sign and punches him. Estrellas pushes the ref down and clubs RT. Estrellas chairs him in the head. The ref tries to take the chair and Estrellas shoves him down. Estrellas chokes him with the chair edge.

RT punches him then throws the ref. They trade shots for a big. The bell rings and they are separated.

Thoughts: What we saw of this was good. It was all brawling with them getting bloody and whacking each other in the head with chairs. They brought the hate and also kept throwing the ref out of the way. I just wish we could have seen more of it.

Lightning does a promo.  He says Xavant doesn't represent the country but Eddie Colon and Orlando Toledo does. He says he will finish Savant off and has a surprise him. He says he's not coming with white flags and will be waiting for him. 

Xavant does a video. Xavant says the champ has arrived. He says buy your tickets early tonight because the nation's hero is coming to teach Lightning a lesson in endurance. He says he has experience enduring and wants to see what Lightning's endurance is like. He says Lightning will only say 2 words, "I Surrender", when he applies the camel clutch.

Abel talks about Joe Bravo. We see Joe talking to Eddie Colo on the phone. Joe says he's in peak condition all year round to fight. He asks what Eddie's offer is. Eddie talks about him being in a #1 Contender's Match. Joe agrees. He says Estrellas has fought hard to get where he is. Joe puts over Estrellas. He says he will help him and makes him agree that the winner of the match will become the #1 Contender to the Universal Title.

We then see Joe Bravo at the gym. Hoe says that's how a gladiator preps or the fight. He says he hopes Zcion RT1 is in the best condition. He says he recognizes who he is but says RT1 has found himself a big obstacle. He tells Rt1 to bring his best and his desire and says let's see who has more of in the match. He says he's more than prepared and ready. He says he won't waste the opportunity.

Zcion RT1 does a promo. He says he told Joe he made the worst mistake of his life. He says they are fighting to become #1 Contender He says it's sad Joe lent himself to Eddie Colon's games. He says Joe will pay the price tonight. He says he will come out as the #1 Contender because he's the top leader and the d@mned revolution. 

Abel talks about John Hawking.

We see clips of John Hawking bating Chicano for the Puerto Rican Title. We then see him beating Tony Leyenda for the Caribbean Title. 

John Hawking does a promo. He says it's zero hour and says history will be made tonight. He says it's going to be the most important match of his life. He urges everyone to come watch because they will witness history and see good wrestling. He tells Estrellas to be prepared and knows he will win. He says he's betting on himself and says history will be made.

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says Hawking and big and strong but not a warrior. He says John talked trash about him on social media. He accuses him of whining and crying. He says the fans have seen him become victorious in various wars. He says he will show that a difference exists between them. He says John is a coward and he will see him tonight.

Abel Durant talks about La Amenaza Bryan tonight. We then see Brian accepting Ray Gonzalez's invitation for tonight again.

Eddie Colon does a promo. He says he will team with Big Vito tonight. He says he had to fire wrestlers 2 weeks ago and says he wanted to fire Ray Gonalzez most but he can't because he owns part of the company. He says El Paparazzi's and Ray's end is coming tonight.

Big Vito does a promo. He says he and Eddie will get revenge tonight. He says they will get revenge on Gonzalez and Paparazzi tonight then take over everything.

Ray Gonzalez and El Paparazzi do a promo. Papa says they won't erase history. He tells Eddie to stop crying. He says Eddie has to face him as a wrestler and not a directory tonight. Ray says La Amenaza Bryan will be there tonight. He says Eddie has to step in the ring again tonight. He says it won't be a match but a war. He says Eddie's decisions have affected families. He says they will go in with bad intentions to hurt Eddie. He say there is resistance tonight and says they will checkmate the heels tonight. 

Axel and Abel close the show. Abel says there could be a triple champ tonight in Hawking but Axel disagrees. They talk about the rest of the line up. Axel says he has known La Amenaza Bryan since he started in wrestling.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual lazy and cheap episode of WWC with them showing 2 clipped matches we already saw and some promos we already saw. We saw some of the Street Fight between Estrellas vs Zcion RT1, which looked good. It was all promos otherwise to hype today's show. WWC lost 3 talents recently and responded here by bringing back Joe Bravo and La Amenaza Bryan. I know Bryan was the WWC champ in 2005 and hasn't been seen much since 2014. Joe hasn't been around WWC since 2023. I wouldn't really recommend this but they did a good job of making tonight's show seem important. I'd give this a 4 out of 10 as they could have done better here.
