Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Yuna Mizumori vs. Rian

Ri offers a handshake then Yuna does as well. Ri tries to stomp Yuna's feet. Yuna armdrags her. Yuna is rolled up for 2. Ri flying headscissors her. Yuna is pulled over the top to the apron. They trade forearms. Yuna flying shoulders her. 

Yuna lariats her on the ropes then legdrops her for 2. Yuna does like a grounded rocking chair and Ri ropebreaks. Yuna stomps her. Ri hits forearms and is booted. Yuna forearms her down then Ri headscissors her out of the corner. Ri basement dropkicks her then crossbodies her.

Ri hits chest forearms. Yuna chops her then springboard dropkicks her. Yuna hits a corner lariat then a 2nd rope diving shoulderblock for 2. Ri sunset flips her for 2 and they trade pin attempts in that position. Yuna low diving lariats her for 2. 

Yuna blocks a roll-up. Ri cutters her for 2. Yuna hits a hard lariat. Yuna cradle shocks her for 2. Yuna rolls her up for 2 twice. They trade pin attempts and Ri scores the upset pin.

Thoughts: It's nice to see Rian win for a change. It got a lot of time and Rian had a lot of pin attempts here. It was acceptable. Ri could have used some stronger looking offense though.

Ri seemingly wants a title shot from Yuna after and Yuna holds her belt up at her before shaking hands.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Fukigen Death vs. Aya Sakura

Aya comes out with a mop.

FD ducks a lock up, poses and is kicked. Aya is booed for kicking her. FD poses more. FD throws out Aya and chokes her with a towel. FD hits her with a hand fan on the stage and throws her in. FD then mops up the ring but then slides the mop into Aya.

Aya boots FD out of the corner. FD eye pokes Aya. Aya suplexes FD and running dropkicks her. Aya northern lights suplexes her. FD rolls her up for 2. Aya chest kicks her down and FD rolls her up for 2. Aya superkicks her then germans her for the win.

Thoughts: It was mostly comedy with Death screwing around the whole time and Aya finally putting her down after getting a couple moves in a row on her. 

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Waka Tsukiyama vs. Ranna Yagami

They lock up and trade waistlocks. Ran wristlocks her and Waka wristlocks her back. Ran side headlocks her. Waka hits hip attacks to the head then running hip attacks her. Waka running knees her on the ropes. Ran armbars her and Waka ropebreaks. 

Ran flying kicks her in the corner then dropkicks her. Ran PK's her for 2. Ran goes for the armbar again. Waka shotei's her. Waka then gets on her back and pulls on both arms. Waka dropkicks her. 

Waka blocks a chest kick and forearms her. Ran hits some chest forearms. Ran then chest kicks her down for 2. Waka does some pin attempts for nearfalls. Waka straightjackets her and pulls her backwards for 2. Waka goes up top and Ran snapmares her down. Ran leg lariats her. Waka cradles her for 2.

Ran high kicks Waka twice. Ran then northern lights bombs her on her head and wins.

Thoughts: Waka took a dangerous looking fall with the northern lights bomb here. Waka was a little more serious than usual but still did her hip attacks and roll up's. Ran mostly stuck with the kicks and armbars her. It was acceptable.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Natsupoi vs. Tabata

They do a double knuckle lock. Poi bridges and Tab lays on her. Poi cartwheels out of a wristlock. Tab bridges, head flips and armdrags Poi to escape the wristlock. Tab dropkicks her. Poi cartwheels on her into an armdrag and dropkick. 

Tab bites her hand. Poi armbreakers her over the shoulder then bites Tab's arm. Poi basement dropkicks her in the back then armbars her. Poi hits forearms to the chest. Tab blocks a sunset flip with a pin attempt of her own. Tab then surfboards her. Tab then pulls on her chin on top of it.

They trade chest forearms. Poi dropkicks her. Poi misses a dropkicks, takes a low dropkick then Tab topes her outside. Tab slingshot splashes her for 2. Poi's head is banged off the buckles. Tab kicks her in the back for 2.

Tab bulldog chokes her and Poi ropebreaks. Tab corner lariats her. Tab then rolls her up for 2. Tab rolls her around for a close 2 count. Poi armbars her and Tab ropebreaks. Poi low dropkicks her through the ropes then slams her. 

Poi misses a cartwheel splash off the top. Tab superkicks her then does a split legged stunner for 2. Poi superkicks her and spin kicks her in the face. Poi then walks up her and does a double reverse armbar. Tab then submits.

Thoughts: It was a neat little match here. Poi worked well with Tab and they did a little bit of lucha here. This worked out really well .

Poi offers a hand shake after and bites Tab's finger.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - HANAKO vs. Yuria Hime

Hime shotgun dropkicks her to start. She hits forearms and side headlocks her. Poi side headlock takeovers her and Hana headscissors her. Hime boots her in the gut then basement dropkicks her. Hana shoulders her over. Hana stomps her.

Hana hits two slams. Hana foot chokes her then crabs her. Hime ropebreaks. Hana stands on Hime's back. Hime hits chest forearms then Hana forearms her down. Hime dropkicks her. Hime 2nd rope dropkicks her for 2. Hime then headscissors her on the mat. 

Hime running facekicks her on the ropes. Hana misses a high kick and is dropkicked in the back. They trade forearms and Hana forearms her down. Hime hits facekicks then Hana facekicks her. Hana suplexes her for 2. Hime hits something like a radio silence for 2. 

Hime goes up top and Hana facekicks her down to the floor. Hime went under the top rope though when she entered so I guess it's not an elimination. They fight outside and into the aisle in the seats. Hana slams her on the floor. Hime pushes her into the post, facekicks her and leg lariats her. Hime goes to get back in and Hana pulls her down. Both girls get counted out.

Thoughts: Things picked up a bit during Hime's comebacks here. I thought it was obvious near the end when they went out that we were not getting a clean pinfall or submission here. This wasn't as good as I had hoped.

The two fight after. Hime then talks to her on the mic. Hana gets in her face and responds. Hana shoves her belt in Hime's face and Hime grabs it. They shake hands and Hime pulls her in. Hana then holds up the belt more and Hime grabs it.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Maki Ito vs. Kikyo Furusawa

Maki does her usual song and dance entrance. KF offers a handshake. Maki accepts and KF pulls her in for a cradle. KF boots her from behind. KF is sent to the apron and Maki facekicks her down to the floor. Maki clubs on her as she re-enters the ring. Maki hits chest forearms on her.

Mkia ties her up in the ropes and chinlocks her. Maki snapmares her for 2 then sleepers her. Maki pulls KF's leg backwards and KF ropebreaks. Maki stomps KF's back. They both battle over a slam and KF slams her for 2. KF running dropkicks her twice.

Maki hits a ddt. KF pulls Maki over the top to the apron. They fight on the buckles. KF snapmares her down from the buckles. KF ankle locks her and Maki ropebreaks. They trade chest forearms and Maki drops her with one. They fght each other the finger and catch each other's boots at the same time. KF stunners her. Maki headbutts her.

KF dropkicks her in the knee and ankle locks her. Maki half crabs her and switches to a full crab. KF ropebreaks. KF hits some forearms then Maki forearms her down. Maki stunners her for 2. KF breaks up a crab attempt with a headbutt. KF totally misses a dropkick then Maki falling headbutt drops her. Maki running double stomps her. Maki high angle texas cloverleafs her and pins her.

Thoughts: This got a ton of time and they did try to make it something special. KF needed a bit more spirit here and some cleaner moves to really pull this off though. I think they could have stiffed each other a little more too. It definitely had some vet vs young girl vibes in this. They tried but it wasn't the classic they aimed for.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Fuwa-chan vs. Saori Anou

Fuwa hits her before it starts and running dropkicks her. SA hair throws her then Fuwa hair throws her. SA does a hard hair throw into the ropes and chokes her with her knee. SA headscissors her on the mat and Fuwa ropebreaks.

Fuwa hits chest forearms and SA tells her to bring it. SA misses a dropkick and is facekicked. Fuwa 2nd rope dropkicks her. Fuwa slams her for 2. SA superkicks her down. SA goes up top and is kicked down to the apron. Fuwa runs the ropes and SA chest kicks her down.

They trade chest forewarms. Fuwa hits a nice running dropkick. SA fisherman suplexes her. SA heavenly locks her. SA top rope dropkicks her for 2. SA fisherman suplexes her for 2. Fuwa slaps her then does an octopus stretch. SA ropebreaks. Fuwa top rope crossbodies her for 2.

SA germans her. Fuwa no sells it and germans her back. SA step up enzugiri's her. SA is pulled to the apron and Fuwa goes with her. Fuwa suplexes her on the apron and both fall to the floor. It's a double elimination and neither girl advances.

The girls fight after on the floor. Fuwa's head is banged off a wall and both girls go to the back.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was a better version of Maki/Kikyo. Fuwa's a real prospect. She knows how to sell and she has a lot of fire to her. This should not have been as good as it was at times. I liked this.

Cinderella Tournament 2026 First Round Match - Hanan vs. Momo Kohgo

They lock up. Han wristlocks her and they trade side headlocks. Han trips her and MK backrolls into a headscissors on her. MK low dropkicks her. Han dropkicks her. Han slams her and headscissors her. Han leg lariats her on the ropes for 2. 

Han hits chest forearms and drops her. MK dropkicks her. MK flying headscissors Han out. Han is sent into the post and MK tiger feint kicks her under the bottom rope. MK pulls both of her arms back. Han flying euros her in the front and the back. MK uranage's her. 

They trade forearms on their knees then get up and trade. Han hip throws her then fameassers her for 2. Han spinning ddt's her for 2. MK backdrops her. MK walks up the buckles and twisting splashes her for 2. MK reverses a pin attempt with one of her own.

Han does a suplex then MK crucifix bombs her for 2. Han leg lariats her. Han cuty special her for 2. Han backdrops her for the the win.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. The two work well together. It was nothing great but they got done before it got old, we had a clean finish and no one really blew anything. Hanan won as expected.

The girls talk to each other on the mic after then walk out together to close the show.

Overall thoughts: Fuwa/Anou was easily the match of the night here. Fuwa can't do a ton, but she's got the basics down and is probably a better worker than half the roster. I liked Poi/Tabata as well. Rian got an upset win here and the main was okay enough. I'd give it a small 6 out of 10 and the show was okay overall.
