Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/ring-of-honor-on-honorclub-492026.html

Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman are on commentary.

They announce a Women's Survival of the Fittest match for Supercard of Honor 2026.

BS rakes her eyes. Lane back body drops her and they trade pin attempts. BS knees her in the face. BS spin kicks her and gordbusters her for the win.

Thoughts:
It was a competitive match and it was acceptable. BS was a bit heelish here and Lane did her usual flying and her various superkicks. BS was the favorite and got the win as expected in this.

Women's Survival of the Fittest Qualifier - Viva Van vs Yuka Sakazaki

They trade some arm holds to start. Yuka side headlocks her. They shove each other and headlock each other. They shoulder battle and Van knocks her over. Yuka running dropkicks her out. Yuka does a spinning hammerlock drop on her. Yuka springboard splashes her and wins.

Thoughts: It was another alright match here. They traded some holds and kicks and Yuka got the win with her flying in the end. Van had a clean night here for a change without any botches.

ROH Pure Wrestling Title - Lee Johnson (c) vs Marshall Von Erich

This is a random one though they said it was set up by last week's 8-man tag match. It's been a long time since we've seen Marshall do a singles match.

They trade waistlocks. Lee wristlocks him and MVE reverses it. Lee hammerlocks him and MVE uses his first rope break. Lee side headlocks him then MVE shoulders him over. Lee goes for leapfrog and is dropkicked in mid-air. MBE iron claws him and Lee uses his first rope break.

MVE slams him and elbow drops him for 2. Lee does like a hammerlock ddt. Lee bangs MVE's arm off his shoulder. Lee splits MVE's fingers and pulls on the arm. MVE uses his 2nd rope break. Lee misses a corner charge and MVE powerslams him. MVE hits forearms and back elbows.

Thoughts
: There was no reason to believe MVE had any shot at winning here so the question was just how long it would take. Lee worked the arm here before getting the win with an arm based submission. It was an acceptable bout.

Josh Woods does a promo. He says he's been gaining steam the last few months but he's bored. He says it's too easy here. He says he's issuing an open challenge to any pure wrestler across the world. Josh says when he wins the open challenge at Supercard of Honor, it's a pact that he will win the Pure Title back.

TA cravates her. TA is sent into the buckles and Hy hits lariats. Hy pump kicks her and backdrops her for 2. Hy hits a big spear for 2. TA hits a big german. TA larias her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was another acceptable match. Trish was always going to win this one and the only question was how long it would take. It was a bit one-sided as expected. Hyan's spear was nice and TA's lariat at the end was also nice.

Women's Survival of the Fittest Qualifier - Isla Dawn vs Persephone

They lock up. Dawn backs her up on the ropes and kind of shoves her in the face. Pers rolls her off the lock up. Dawn side headlocks her then Pers side headlocks her. Dawn hits a fiery shot and Pers tries to calm things down. They do a double knuckle lock and stand off. Pers flying headscissors her then Dawn shoulders her over.

Pers side headlock takeovers her then fallaway slams her. Pers hits chops then spears her. Pers misses a 2nd rope moonsault. Dawn high kicks her for 2. Dawn grabs a dragon sleeper, Pers kind of rolls to the side to escape and pins her.

Thoughts: The finish was unique. I've never seen that counter down before. It was about average. The only real question here was whether Pers would be on Supercard of Honor in Survival of the Fittest or a bigger match. I didn't think there was a great story or even a clear heel or face in this.

Caprice Coleman interviews Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne. Coleman welcomes him back and Nick doesn't want to shake his hand. They talk NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors Tournament. Nick says his goal last year was to become the youngest competitor and winner. He says he wants to be the youngest winner and says he feels confident he can do that this year. He says Kosei Fujita has a big target on his back. He says Kosei is the current youngest winner and he wants to take that from him. Coleman says there's a lot of pressure on him and asks about his return from injury. Kip says Nick isn't your average wrestler and says he wasn't recovering but evolving. Coleman asks how his foot will hold up. Mom its Coleman with her hand fan and says he's in perfect health. Mom says Nick is the future king of pro wrestling.

ROH Television Title - Nick Wayne (c) vs Evil Uno

They lock up. Uno gets in his face in the corner on the break. Uno shoves him and Nick ropebreaks. Uno wristlocks him and Nick side headlocks him. Nick throws him over and kicks him in the back. Thoughts: It was a random one and there was no reason to believe Uno was winning here. And he did not. Uno had a decent showing with some good looking forearms but it was nothing special.

Nick Wayne is interviewed in the ring with his crew after. He says this is the world dominator of Nick Wayne. The crowd chants for his mom. Nick says he was announced for NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors a few days ago. Nick says he will do the same thing he does in ROH in Japan. He says he will become the youngest BOSJ winner of all time because this is Wayne's world and we are all just living in it.

DS is sat on the 2nd rope. AR slingshot canadian destroyers him from the side and pins him.

Thoughts: It was another random one and hard to really care. AR did his usual goofy offense. AR's new slingshot canadian destroyer is something and at least that finished this one. I thought it was so-so.

Nigel McGuinness does a promo. He says just when you think you are out, they pull you back in. He says he thought that was it when he couldn't beat Lee for the Pure Title 2 years in a row. He says Josh Woods has been running over ROH and wants another shot at Lee. Nigel says you don't beat Lee Moriarty a 3rd time without beating him first. He says if you can't beat him, you can't beat Lee. He says he wants one more Pure Title shot. He says he will go quietly into the night if he can't beat him. He challenges Josh Woods for Supercard of Honor.

Blake Christian does a video. He says he's been chasing Bandido for a year and Band has been dodging him. He challenges him for Supercard of Honor, but they just announced it would be happening.

The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian and Lee Johnson) vs QT Marshall, Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto

I guess QT's crew is back together as this is the 2nd or 3rd time they have teamed up recently.

The heels boot QT's team at the bell. 4 of the 6 fight outside. Nick shoulders Jay over the lariats him. Nick gorilla press slams Jay. Nick corner splashes Jay. QT corner enzugiri's Jay. Jay takes a suplex + dropkick combo.

Solo hits chops and forearms on Jay. Solo dropkicks Jay. Lee forearms Solo from the apron then boots him in the corner. Lee hits corner spears. Solo is on the 2nd rope and Blake sliding lariats him down. Lee stomps Solo and hits mounted punches. Jay works Solo's leg. Blake stomps the leg.

Lee stomps the leg then fisherman suplexes him. Lee chokes him on the ropes. Jay slams Solo. Solo's legs are pulled on by the heels. Jay and Lee end up getting crotched up top. Solo pushes Blake into them.

QT comes in and hits punches. QT handspring enzugiri's Blake then pop-up forearms Lee. QT asai moonsaults him for 2. Jay superkicks Nick. QT flatliners Jay. Solo corkscrew kicks Lee. Blake back enzugiri's Solo. Nick is pulled over the top and Jay topes him. Solo takes double teams then Blake 2nd rope moonsaults QT outside.

Nick is triple teamed and he pushes his opponents off. Nick takes kicks from his opponents. Nick takes a double stomp + rolling death valley driver and is pinned.

Thoughts
: It was alright. The heels worked Solo's leg for a while until they got him out. QT had a good showing. QT's team lost as expected.

Women's Survival of the Fittest Qualifier - Robyn Renegade vs Maya World

RR got an entrance here which she doesn't always get.

RR armdrags her off the lock up. Maya side headlocks her. Maya wristlocks her. RR wristlocks her and Maya headflips out. Maya does push up's at her and RR facekicks her. RR chops her and Maya chops her back.

RR totally misses an asai moonsault and Maya rolls her into a double stomp. Maya shining wizard's her and wins.

Thoughts: It was competitive though Maya always had the edge on this one. It wasn't that great though and got a bit more time than it needed.

ROH Women's Title Proving Ground Match - Athena vs Zayda Steel

Ath side headlock takeovers her. Zay side headlocks her then takes her over. Ath headscissors her. Zay slaps her and then hides in the ropes.

Ath knees Zay in the gut. Zay casadora armdrags Ath then flying headscissors her. Zay basement dropkicks her for 1. Zay rolls her up for 2. Ath double throat thrusts her. Zay armdrags her out of the TKO position. Ath wheelbarrow suplexes her on the floor.

Thoughts: Ath was always winning this one so the result was never in doubt. Zay had one of her better showings as she showed some spirit here before going down. It wasn't that bad and atleast Zay didn't get totally wrecked.

Athena grabs Zay after and Christopher Daniels stops her.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual random edition of ROH. Most of the matches had reasons for happening but they had obvious winners and no real build to them. Tony Khan is not good at coming up with reasons for matches to happen so he masks that by doing tournaments or qualifiers like we saw here to make these bouts feel more special than they are. I didn't like this show. It went a full 2 hours and it was really hard to really care about anything on this. There was a bunch of average to acceptable matches here but nothing great. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 but that's really just on a technicality. It was a very average show.
