WWE Main Event 4/30/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/04/wwe-main-event-4232026.html

Vic Joseph and Byron Saxton are on commentary.

Jordynne Grace vs Lash Legend

They lock up. JG gets on the buckles, comes down and Lash pushes her. JD side headlocks her and they shoulder battle. Lash shoulders her over. JG hits forearms. JG boots her off the ropes. Lash suplexes her and kips up.

JG bodyscissors her and hits headbutts. Lash forearms her, sending her out of the ring. Lash drops her head first on the apron edge. JG dropkicks her in the knee then knee her in the face. Lash blocks a sunset flip. Lash misses a corner charge and goes into the buckles. JG running back elbows her in the corner.

JG vader bombs her for 2. JG hurricanrana's her for 2. Lash pump kicks her. Lash hits a powerbomb for 2. JG ddt's her off the casadora then suplexes her. Lash hits a lash extension and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. JG couldn't do a lot of her usual stuff because Lash was so much bigger than her and her offense didn't look that good.

Otis vs Josh Briggs

This could be good. Maxxine Dupri is with Otis after not being with him for a while.

They lock up. Otis side headlocks him. They shoulderblock each other. JB boots Otis in the gut then Otis shoulders him over. Otis running bodyblocks him in the head. JB back elbows him and sends him shoulder first into the post. JB boots and foot chokes Otis in the corner.

Otis blocks JB's backdrop. JB hits a nice facekick for 2. Otis hits some big roundhouse shots and JB clubs on Otis' back. JB side slams him and splashes him for 2. JB armlocks him and puts his elbow in Otis' face.

Otis bodyblocks him and hits lariats. Otis spinning back elbows him. Otis corner splashes him. JB boots him out of the corner. Otis slams him down. Otis does the caterpillar splash and wins.

Thoughts: It was basically a drunken brawl with them stiffing each other and not making it look pretty. It definitely did look like a fight but it had no rhythm or flow to it. I'd put the blame on Otis for that as he didn't look like he was in the mood.

Laredo Kid vs Joaquin Wilde

This is is Kid's main roster debut. Good for him.

They lock up. JW wristlocks him. Kid rolls, headflips and they trip each other. They headflip up and stand off. Kid flying headscissors JW out. Kid grabs JW by the hair. JW whips Kid down by the arm. Kid chops JW.

JW ddt's him. JW ties his legs up, ties up an arm then puts hairspray on his hair. JW chops Kid in the corner. Kid boots him out of the corner then hits an open hand shot. Kid top rope dropkicks him and kips up. Kid hits kicks then neckbreakers him.

Kid twisting moonsaults him off the bottom and middle rope for 2. JW armbars him. Kid la magistral's him. Kid enzugiri's JW on the apron. Kid then topes him outside. JW boots him out of the corner. JW is caught up top and Kid top rope flipping belly to belly suplexes him for the win.

Thoughts:
I was very surprised by this. It was a big win for Kid even though JW is low on the main roster totem pole. It wasn't the best match they could have have had but they had a few highlights and it was alright.

Overall thoughts
: There were 3 new matches here. None of were must see and the Wilde/Laredo match was the best match of the night. Otis/Briggs was ugly and looked like a real fight at times. The women's match wasn't that good. There was nothing you needed to see here and you could skip this one.
