Note - This is the Spanish version of the show. This show ran while Wrestlemania 42 was on (and that show was so bad that they should have aired AAA instead) and they did not air the English version on Saturday 4/18 as they were supposed to. It's unknown when or if the English version will air and I truly think there's a small chance it doesn't air. They had to air the Spanish version though due to TV agreements though, so I'm watching that.

We are in Mexico City, Mexico.

We see various wrestlers hang out and arrive.

Joaquin Wilde vs. Lince Dorado vs. Aero Star

Lince hits shots on both opponents. Lince armdrags JW then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Star. Lince lariats Star down. Lince blocks an armdrag and slaps JW. Lince takes a double superkick. JW rolls up Star for 1. JW spinning lariats Star. Lince comes off the top and is atomic dropped by JW. JW neckbreakers Star, which makes him ddt Lince.

Star springboard dropkicks JW in the butt. Star handspring back elbows Lince. Lince pop-up drops Star then hits a great tope con hilo through the ropes. JW top rope swantons both opponents outside.  

JW slingshot flipping neckbreakers Star. He ties up his arm and both legs then has a camera man come in and take a photo of him. Lince shows up behind JW and grabs his hair. Lince euros JW. Lince handspring double stunners his opponents. Lince backcrackers JW for 2. 

JW dumps Lince over the top. Star rolls into a JW superkick. JW lifts Star up by the legs and drops him on his gut. JW tries a sunset bomb on Star and eventually gets it. Lince breaks the pin up with a top rope ssp. Lince suplexes JW. Star springboard codebreakers JW then topes him outside. Star then topes JW into the commentary table.

Star rolls into a cutter on Lince. Lince hurricanrana's him off the buckles but Lince rolls through and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fun match. They didn't overdo it, they packed it with action and had a bunch of fun high flying. It was a bit random but this did exactly what it was supposed to and was a good choice for an opener. 

The War Raiders beat up Murder Clown in the back. Pagano and Psycho Clown make the save and the heels leave.

Dorian Roldan talks to Marisela Pena in her office. Dorian says they are losing out on opportunities. He says they could have Vikingo enter Mania as the IC champ but Mini Vikingo ruined it. He says they lost out on a lot of money by not having Mania representations. He says Pena should name him AAA's General Manager. He says he can take this to the next level and thinks he deserves this spot. 

Pena says it's been a hard year and he had to do some tough things. Pena tells him to give her a week to think about it.

AAA World Mixed Tag Team Title Match - Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana (c) vs. Dinamico & La Hiedra

Dina and Iguana go at it. Ig tries to play with his toy and Dina pushes him. Ig headbutts him then flying headscissors him. Ig then puts his toy on Dina and tries to count a pin. The girls come in and push each other. 

Hiedra wristlocks her. Lola rolls out and armdrags her into an armlock. Lola spin kicks her in the gut and side headlocks her. Lola shoulders her over and dances. Hiedra kips up and dances. Lola sweeps her then Hiedra sweeps her. They stand off.

Hiedra shoulders her over and Lola does Ig's dead pose. Lola catches her with a triangle and armbar. Ig rolling armbars Dina at the same time. Dina powerbombs Ig down to break it. Lola hits a kick combo on Dina. Hiedra lariats Lola.

Ig does the dead pose on the floor and Hiedra hits mounted shots on Lola. Hiedra kicks Lola in the leg then dropkicks her in the crotch in the corner for 2. Lola backdrops Hiedra. 

The men come in. Ig satellite headscissors Dina down. Ig is popped up and he hurricanrana's Dina down for 2. Dina cutters Ig for 2. Ig slaps Dina with his toy. Hiedra is bitten by the toy. Lola stinkfaces Dina in the corner. Ig diving headscissors Dina off the apron.

Lola grounded sleepers Hiedra. Hiedra gets a 2 count on her. Lola hits her in the gut. Ig waves at Hiedra and Lola spinning roundhouse kicks Hiedra. Lola la silla's Hiedra off the apron. Dina spinning roundhouse kicks Ig in the face. Dina pop up powerbombs Ig for 2. Ig is in the electric chair and he facebusters Dina down. Ig pins Dina.

Thoughts: The finish was a little weak here but it was an okay bout otherwise. Lola had fun doing some of Iguana's stuff and Iguana brought the comedy as usual. There was nothing too spectacular here but it was alright enough. I thought they kind of threw Dinamico a bone here to see how he would do and he was fine.

We see clips of last week's angle with The Grande Americano's, the comedian and the brawl after.

El Grande Americano II talks to Texano Jr in the back. He says what he said at Rey de Reyes was from his heart. He puts over Texano Jr. as a legend and a Rey de Reyes champ. Tex says he's not wrong. He says his accomplishments are getting lost to time but the people stay in his heart. Grande says he wasn't here when they started all this but it's his responsibility to defend it. He says it would be an honor to team with Tex to defend what was built. Tex says he sees how the fans love him and he respects that. He says it's time we do it. They shake hands on it and say let's do it for AAA and Mexico.

Next week has Rey Fenix and an interview with La Catalina.

Psycho Clown vs Ivar

Clown spin kicks him in the gut. They trade running corner attacks. Ivar shoulders him over. Clown flying shoulders him and hits various shots. Clown springboard twisting crossbodies him. Clown lariats Ivar over the top and goes with him.

Clown topes him outside. Ivar spinning slams him for 2. Ivar forearms him in the spine and clubs on him. Ivar walks on his back. Clown hits punches and Ivar knees him in the gut. Clown headbutts him in the chest then step up enzugiri's him. Ivar butt drops him in the corner.

Ivar misses a corner bronco buster and Clown basement dropkicks him from behind. Clown sitout moonsaults him for 2. Clown fires up and goes to rip his mask. Ivar interrupts him. Clown enzugiri's him in the corner then broski boots him. Clown top rope crossbodies him but Ivar turns it into a slam on him. Ivar slams him down. Ivar misses a top rope moonsault.

Ivar spinning high kicks him then tiger drivers him for 2. They fight on the buckles and Clown sunset bombs him down. Clown hits a code red for 2. Clown dropkicks him into the ref in the corner. Clown air raid crashes him. Clown goes for the pin but the ref is down.

Erik comes in to help Ivar. He hits Clown then Clown hits him back. Erik knees him in the back then Clown takes a double team powerbomb. Ivar then pins Clown.

Thoughts: It was one of Clown's better matches as it was more compact and was mostly action based. I liked it and thought Ivar did a good job as usual. 

Pagano then runs out to help out Clown. 

Clown and Pagano argue after and Clown is upset. Pagano grabs him and Clown pushes him off. They argue as they walk to the back.

We follow them to the back. Clown asks what's wwrong with him and asks why it's always the same with him. They shove each other. Pagano tells him to be careful what he's accusing him of. They both hit the wall and walk away.

Clown then finds Murder Clown knocked out on the floor. He then finds a bandana/shirt and yells "Pagano" as he thinks it belongs to him.

Overall thoughts: It was kind of a throwaway episode with a lot of people not wrestling or being on the show, but, they only have an hour to work with and have a lot of things going on. The matches were all fine as usual. The opener was done well. The mixed tag was the usual more lighthearted stuff from Iguana and Lola. The main had one of Psycho Clown's better matches and more follow-up on Pagano/Clown vs The War Raiders and more follow up on Murder Clown getting attacked. They also set up a Grande II/Texano tag match and Dorian is trying to gain power. They also gave us some subtitles so even non-Spanish speakers could understand what was going on. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. It was an easy to watch show and it was fun. It was also 1000 times better than Mania.
