CMLL 4/26/2026 Ven a Festejar El Dia Del Nino

CMLL is now airing their Sunday shows and this is the first one we have gotten to see.

The announce welcomes us to the show as usual.

Angelito, Pequeno Magia and Kaligua vs Minos I, Full Metal and Pequeno Violencia

Minos and Magia go at it. Magia armdrags him. Magia side headlock takeovers him. Minos shoulders him over. Magia seated springboards and rolls him. Kal springboard diving armdrags Minos and gets a 2 count on him. 

Vio comes in. They miss dropicks and Kal sunset flips him off the electric chair. Vio chops him. Ange springboard diving armdrags Vio. Metal comes in. Ange spinning armdrags him down. Ange is swept on the 2nd rope then Minos dropkicks down to the apron and floor. 

Magia gets double teamed. Magia is double gorilla pressed then Metal top rope dropkicks him in the butt. Kal is triple teamed. Kal is held upside down for a low dropkick from Vio. Magia is hit from behind by Minos. Magia flips over his opponents backs, they hiptoss him into the ropes and he hits a single armdrag off of it. Magia flying headscissors Minos out. Ange tornillo dives out. Kal 2nd rope springboard tornillo's Vio then flying headscissors him out. Metal hits a big spear on Kal.

Kal fyling headscissors Metal out then Magia tope con hilos Metal. Ange springboard crossbodies Vio then spin kicks him in the gut. Ange spinning headscissors Vio. Kal asai moonsaults Vio outside. Kal spinning la rosa drivers Metal for 1. Magia top rope crossbodies Minos. 

Magia's head is banged off the buckles. Magia armdrags Minos down from the buckles. Magia angel's wings Minos and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a nice opener. The faces got a lot of offense in and they kept it fast and exciting. Angelito's tornillo dive outside was very nice and Kaligua got speared hard.

CMLL Micro Title - KeMalito (c) vs Tengu

They do some mat wrestling to start. Ten armdrags him then Ke armdrags him back. Ke spinning reverse headscissors him from the mat. Ten dropkicks him from behind. Ten gorilla presses Ke then throws him. 

Ten rakes Ke's eyes on the ropes. Ten boots and chops Ke in the corner. Ten basement dropkicks him in the corner. Ten rips at his mask. Ten boots him over. Ke handstands on the 2nd rope and reverse headscissors Ten down. Ke dropkicks him out then la silla's him off the apron outside.

Ten puts him in la cavernaria. Ten bangs Ke's knee off the mat. Ten kicks Ke in the leg. Ten standing pedigrees him for 2. Ke stunners him for 2. Ke shoulders him over then splashes him for 2. Ke ddt's him off the ropes. Ke 2nd rope vader bomb's him and pins him.
 
Thoughts: It didn't go that long and it was probably for the better. They did okay with it and Ke flying around some. Ke's just always going to be limited because his height and because the ring is full sized.

They shake hands and hug after. Ten puts the belt around his waist but all 3 of them can't figure it out for some reason. 

Lightning Match - Shotzi vs Skadi

This is Shotzi's CMLL debut.

They lock up. Shotzi hits kicks to the chest. Skadi knees her in the gut and armdrags her. Shotzi armdrags her. Skadi sweeps her. Skadi knees her in the gut. Shotzi hits some strikes and brazilian kicks her. Shotzi sentons her against the 2nd rope.

Shotzi cannonballs her off the apron. Shotzi running meteora's her off the apron outside. Skadi is pushed into the post. Shotzi top rope crossbodies her inside for 2. Skadi lariats her. 

Skadi double underhook backbreakers her for 2. Shotzi boots her out of the corner then hanging headscissors her over the top rope. Skadi gordbusters her then rolls into an elbow drop on her for 2. Shotzi springboard sunset flips her for 2. Skadi enzugiri's her from behind then crossbodies her for 2. 

Skadi misses a corner charge. Skadi koppo kicks her in the corner then corner sentons her for 2. They fight on the buckles. Skadi superplexes her. Skadi walks the 2nd rope and misses a springboard splash. Shotzi top rope sentons her and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't quite as good as it should have been likely due to the language barrier and since there wasn't a heel here. Skaddi did some impressive stuff as usual and Shotzi had a few highlights, but the rhythm just wasn't there.  

Torneo Cibernetico - Dragon Legendario vs Dragon de Fuego vs Max Star vs Fugaz vs Hijo del Pantera vs Fuego vs Pantera Jr. vs Rey Pegasus

DF = Dragon de Fuego, DL= Dragon Legendario, Hijo = Hijo del Pantera

Seeding Battle Royal

All 8 men pair off the in the corners and fight. Hijo takes a back elbow. DL's head is banged off the buckles and Pant Jr foot chokes him. DL throws out Hijo. Feugo lariats Rey out. DF sends Max out. Pant Jr is popped up into a headscissors on DL. Pant Jr self-eliminates for no some reason and the teams are set.

Torneo Cibernetico

Fuego and Hijo show up and dance. Hijo gets a 2 count on him. They stand off. Rey and DL go at it. They handspring at the same time and flip. Rey flying headscissors him. DL handstand walks into a backflip and a reverse spinning headscissors. Rey 2nd rope tornillo's DL. DL backrolls into a standing moonsault on him for 2. They try to dropkick each other at the same time then stand off.

Max and Fugaz go at it. Fug armdrags him then back elbows him. Max reverse headscissors him but Fug cartwheels out. Max headscissors him into a pin attempt and they headflip up together.

DF and Pant Jr go at it. Pant trips him and does headflips. DF flips over his back. Pant blows a seated springboard then he flying headscissors DF. DF enzugiri's him from the apron then double springboard twisting armdrags him. DF armdrags him then is armdragged back. They try to dropick each other at the same time. Hijo comes in and backbreakers DF. DL slides out and hijo tope con hilo's him. Everyone fights outside.

Hijo gets a 2 count on DL inside. DL is double teamed by Los Pantera. DL takes an elbow drop and an asai moonsault. DF breaks the pin up. DL superkicks Hijo. DF corner dropkicks Pant. DF armdrags DL into Pant.

Max tilt-a-whirl backbreakers DF. Rey springboard dropkicks DF. The medics come out and check on Hijo. Fuego 2nd rope springboard headscissors Rey. Rey hits kicks on him. Rey rope walks and diving headscissors Fuego. Rey walks up the ropes and flips into an armdrag on Fuego. Rey then topes Fuego into the rails. 

Pant Jr and Fug go at it. Pant Jr flips over him and is pump kicked. Pant Jr headstands in the corner and headscissors him. Max comes in. DF springboard twisting crossbodies him for 2. Max satellite armdrags DF out then step up tope con hilos him outside.

Fuego hen walks up the buckles and planchas 2 people outside. Pant Jr springboard swantons outside. Fug step up blind springboard tornillo's outside. Rey rope walk and drops down into a springboard tornillo outside. 

Hijo is back in but down. DF top rope inverted flip dives out. DL springboard ssp's outside. Hijo brainbusters DL. Hijo top rope swantons him for 2. DL takes corner attacks. Hijo misses a corner splash then takes corner attacks. DL rolls him up and pins him. Hijo del Pantera is eliminated.

Rey springboard dropkicks DL. Fug tilt-a-whirl headscissors Rey out then tornillo's him outside. DF top rope crossbodies Pant for 2. Pant Jr flips off of DF. DF hurricanrana's him but Pant Jr rolls through and gets a 2 count. 

Pant Jr tries to roll up DF but DF rolls him up for 2. DF electric chair drops him chest first on the mat. Pant Jr spinning high kicks DF then os cutters him. Pant Jr springboard diving meteora's DF and pins him. Dragon de Fuego is eliminated. 

Fug does a spinning reverse torture rack drop on Max for 2. Max high kicks him and superkicks him. Max slingshot gutbusters him and pins him. Fugaz is eliminated.

Fuego gets in with Rey. Rey electric chair cradle shocks him for 2. Rey top rope 450's him for 2. Fuego does a grounded octopus and submits him. Rey Pegasus is eliminated.

DL and Pant Jr go at it. Pant rolls into a spin kick on him. DL walks up the ropes and botches a diving armdrag. DL lariats him and stomps him. Pant Jr flying headscissors him out. Pant Jr then topes him.

Max and Fuego fight. Fuego tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Fuego pop up drops him for 2. Max backrolls him into a bridge for 2. Max dropkicks him out then topes him into the rail. Pant Jr and DL fight. Pant Jr hits forearms then DL standing spanish flies him for 2, but DL thinks he pinned him. 

Pant Jr if thrown out and I think DL still thinks Pant Jr was pinned. DL and Max double stomp Fuego. Fuego is sent out. DL superkicks Pant Jr then cradle shocks him for 2. DL cradles him and pins him. Pantera Jr. is eliminated.

DL and Max trade forearms. Max enzugiri's him then 2nd rope tilt-a-whirl headscissors him for 2. DL wasteland's Max. DL top rope 450's Max and pins him. Max Star is eliminated.

Fuego is stomped on by DL. Fuego bridges out of a lariat then armdrags him off a backdrop. Fuego crossbodies him over the top rope. Feugo asai moonsaults him outside. Fuego topes him. 

DL hurricanrana's him for 2. DL misses a corner charge and is rolled up for 2. Fuego and DL trade. DL wasteland's him then top rope 450's him. DL goes up top. Feugo top rope hurricanrana's him for 2. Fuego spinebusters him and submits him with a leglock. Fuego wins. 

Thoughts: It was a fast paced bout. The first half went well then things went down hill when Pantera Jr. was supposed to be pinned. Dragon Legendario didn't know the ref didn't count 3 and it lead to confusion and things slowing down. This ended up turning Dragon heel and the crowd was booing him when they weren't supposed to. Hijo del Pantera got injured during this but then returned. It was still okay in the end but was on the path to being very good.

Futuro, Volcano and Neon hand Fuego his belt for winning after.

Lightning Match - Rocky Romero vs. Angel de Oro

RR shimmies and waistlock takedowns him. Oro armdrags him. RR side headlocks him then Oro dropkicks him. RR topes him outside. Oro is sent into the rails outside. RR slams him on the floor and double stomps him there from the apron.

RR hits chops inside and Oro chops back. RR corner lariats him several times then punches him and poses. Oro shotgun dropkicks him. Oro goes up and over then flying headscissors him. Oro then topes him outside. Oro triangle moonsaults him inside for 2. 

RR boots him out of the corner and is crotched up top. RR top rope shiranui's him for 2. Oro michinoku drivers him for 2. RR hits forearms on Oro then Oro forearms him back. Oro superkicks him then RR pumping knees him. RR b-drivers him for 2. Oro superkicks RR. Oro misses a top rope moonsault. RR camel clutches him then straightjacket caverneria's him. Oro escapes and rocking chairs him. Oro submits him.

Thoughts: It was a bit rushed. There wasn't a ton of selling nd near the end, they squeezed in what they could. Oro then kind of won with a random submission. 

Black Tiger & Kushida vs. Atlantis Jr. & Esfinge

AJ = Atlantis Jr.

Kush has a hood on over his face and a karate gi on. 

Tiger throws Esf over by the arm then they trade armdrags. Tiger shoulders him over. Tiger hits mounted shots. Esf enzugiri's him from the apron then springboard diving headscissors him out. Esf flying headscissors him outside on the floor.

Kush takes his hood off and fights AJ. Kush knee drops the arm then AJ headscissors him. AJ takes him down by the arm and Kush headscissors him again. AJ handstands out and they stand off. 

Kush knees AJ in the gut. Kush cartwheels over him then AJ shoulders him over. AJ goes up and over and is kicked. Tiger stomps AJ then unties his mask with Kush. 

Kush chokes Esf with something and Tiger bites Esf's hand. Tiger corner lariats Esf then corner meteora's him. Tiger tries to unmask Esf. Tiger and Kush then stomp Esf on the ramp. AJ then gets double teamed in the ring. Kush ties up AJ's arms and falls backwards. Tiger chops down AJ.

Esf superkicks Tiger then rolls up Kush. Kush then hits mounted shots on him. Kush beats up AJ in the corner and splits his fingers. Kush is pushejd into Tiger then AJ slingblades Tiger, making him ddt Kush. 

Kush and Esf fight on the apron. Kush ties him up in the ropes, ties his arms up and tries to unmask him. Tiger stomps AJ in the corner. AJ flying headscissors Tiger then Tiger back elbows him. AJ tilt-a-whirl backbreakers the heels.

Esf monkey flips Tiger. Esf and AJ then hit topes outside. Esf springboard crossbodies Tiger. Kush trips Esf from the apron then Tiger pounds on Esf. Kush armbars Esf and AJ breaks it up. Esf superkicks Tiger then AJ step up enzugiri's Kush. Kush pele kicks Esf and all 4 men end up going down.

AJ takes a double step up enzugiri. Esf is tripped and Kush kicks him in the arm. Kush tope con hilos Esf. Tiger hiptosses AJ. Tiger is put on the apron and AJ rolls into the ropes into a double stomp on him. AJ slingshot cutters Tiger. AJ top rope frogsplashes Tiger and pins him.

Thoughts: It went a bit long and the heels were ripping masks at times a bit more then they were trying to win. It was acceptable though. Kushida wrestled a bit different than usual and was in full heel mode here. 

El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada, Mistico & Neon) vs Barbaro Cavernario, Difunto & El Clon

Mist and Barb start us off. Mist armdrags him then MD springboard crossbodies Dif. MD corkscrew headscissors Dif then Neon springboard diving headscissors Clon out. The faces go for dives and get stopped. Clon stomps Mist then rips at his mask. Clon unties the mask on the buckles.

Barb kicks Mist in the leg then hits slaps. Barb bites Mist's fingers. Mist is triple stomped on by the heels. Mist is sat up top and the heels try to unmask him. Mist is in tree of woe and gets stomped. The triple team on Mist continues.

Mist flying headscissors Clon then Dif stomps Mist. Mist and MD are thrown onto the ramp. Barb bites Neon's face in the corner. Neon flying headscissors Barb and MD pops up Mist into a flying headscissors on Dif. MD springboard tornillo armdrags Clon out.

The faces hit triple topes outside twice. MD sends Dif into the rails. Barb is held in the ring and begs off. Mist superkicks Barb. Neon and Dif fight. Neon superkicks him in the gut then top rope diving headscissors him. Neon reverse monkey flips Clon. Neon moonsaults into an armdrag on Barb then double jump springboard headscissors Clon on the apron. 

MD is flipped into the ropes and he armdrags Dif off of it. MD corkscrew headscissor Clon. MD spinning headscissors Barb out. Dif and Mist go at it. Mist corkscrew headscissors him out. Clon is pushed into Barb then Mist 619's Barb. Mist springboard diving headscissors Clon. 

Mist boots Barb out of the corner then Barb does the worm off of it. Mist springboard headscissors Barb. Mist satellite headscissors Clon out. Mist then walks up the ropes and springboard corkscrew diving armdrags Dif out. 

The faces hit triple stereo dives outside. Mist gets a 2 count on Clon inside. Mist superkicks Clon in the gut then code red's him. neon and MD hit stereo springboard sunset flips for 2 counts. Barb and Dif are sent into each other then put in the rowboat/star. Mist hurricanrana's Clon in the middle of it for 2.

Mist flying headscissors Dif out. Mist walks up the buckles and plancha's Dif outside. Neon pop up dropkicks Clon. Neon does a top rope invertef flip dive while MD top rope 450's. Mist la mistica's Dif and submits him. Mistico's team wins the match.

Thoughts: It was an okay main. Mistico's team put out a good effort and Mist was mostly featured. We didn't see much of Dorada in this. Difunto didn't get to do a lot of his trademark spots here.  

The announcer talks after and Mistico gets on the mic. Mist thanks everyone and says they make lucha wonderful and magical. He says they celebrate the kids today and he thanks everyone.

Overall thoughts: It felt like a longer show due to their being 7 matches. I liked the opener and the micro's did okay. Shotzi/Skadi had the usual issues when wrestlers who speak different languages fight. The cibernetico went well in the first half and the second half had a lot of issues. It was still okay though. Romero/Oro was a bit rushed. The semi-main was acceptable and the main was okay. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and thought it was good overall.
