IWA Puerto Rico Tag Team Title Match - Edrax Torres & Mascara Pura (c) vs. Drunken Express (Excellent Mantel & Pupe Jackson)

Pura and Pupe start us off. They lock up. Pupe snapmares him and kicks him in the back. Pupe then dances. Pupe hits forearms and slaps. Pupe slaps him back and hits punches. Pupe armdrags him twice then dropkicks him. They botch a handstand spot on the buckle and Pipe slams him. Pura takes an atomic drop into a step up enzugiri. Pura then takes a double legdrop.

Mantell punches Pura with his rubber chicken. Pura pulls him down on the top buckle. ET pulls Mantell down by the hair then Pura flying knees Mantell for 2. ET stomps on Mantell in the corner. ET suplexes Mantell for 2. Pura jumps off his partners back to flying knee Mantell. Then he basement dropkicks Mantell in the corner. Mantell jawbreakers Pura. Mantell is double stomped on by the heels. Wizard says Pupe Jackson is the long lost brother of D-Lo Brown. ET slams Mantell and gyrates over him. ET legdrops him for 2.  

We go to break and return. ET chinlocks Mantell. Mantell fires up. They run into each other and do a poor job doing it. ET dropkicks him. ET hits punches on Mantell then Mantell urange's him. Pupe and Pura tag in. Pupe punches the heels and superkicks Pura for 2.

Pupe is stomped on by the heels. Mantell bangs the heels heads together. Pupe and Mantell hit stereo cutters for 2. Pura takes a 3D. ET boots Pupe in the gut. Pura top rope crossbodies Pupe and ET AA's Mantell. Pura gets a 2 count on Pupe.

Mantell and Pura go over the top together. ET low blows Pupe then piledrivers him on his head. ET then pins Pupe.

Thoughts: The faces lost via a low blow here so it wasn't a clean loss. They had a few sloppy moments but the match was fine as a whole. Pupe knows how to do the comedic underdog role and can always turn these matches into something.

The Express hug after and Mantell lariats Pupe! Mantell then stomps Pupe and the face announcer says it can't be real. Wizard loves it. Mantell pounds on Pupe then throws him out. Pupe is then thrown into the post. Pupe gets busted open. Mantell hits mounted punches on Pupe. Ref's and Fernando Tonos come out to stop it but Mantell keeps the beating going. 

Thoughts: This is a big turn. The Drunken Express have been around for a long time and have been one of their top teams. I would kind of it compare it to if The Bushwhackers turning on each other, but The Express are much bigger deals here.

Bitterness, Atillah and Carlos Controversia come out and the girls wait for their opponents in the entrance area. Rox and VV see this and come out the other side.

IWA Puerto Rico Women's Tag Team Titles - No DQ - Roxxy & Vanilla Vargas (c) vs. Atillah & Bitterness

The first starts in the entrance way. VV is sent into the rails and Rox chops Atillah. VV is sent into the rail. Rox double chops Atillah in the ring. Carlos chokes VV. Rox's head is banged off the mat and Bit elbow drops her. Rox's head is banged off the buckles. VV boots Calros outside and Bit goes after VV. VV is sent into the post.

Atillah clubs on Rox and Rox hits shots on her. Atillah lariats Rox then foot chokes her. Bit leg chokes Rox on the ropes and punches her. Bit knocks VV off the apron then stomps Rox's hand. Bit backdrops her for 2. Rox is still being double teamed.

Rox's head is banged off the buckles and Rox 2nd rope dropkicks her.  VV and Atillah come in. VV drops Atillah with lariats then corner meteora's her. VV corner basement dropkicks her. VV hits a soul foot on her. VV armbars her. Bit misses a splash on VV.

VV pulls Bit out then cannonballs her and Carlos off the apron. Rox double underhook facebusters Atillah and pins her.

Thoughts: Bitterness can't move much at all due to her weight. Her and Atillah did their jobs as heels though. It wasn't the greatest match ever but the format was fine with the heels getting the edge and the faces making their comeback. The execution could have been better though.

Atomo & Super Atomo vs. Manu & Pedro Portillo III

This is Atomo's retirement match. Super is in the red mask and Atomo is in the green. I'll refer to Super Atomo as Super here and Atomo as just Atomo.

PP mocks Atomo's height to start then Manu gets in. Atomo wants PP to fight and he does. Atomo rolls up PP for 2. Atomo sweeps him and yanks on hi arm. PP eye rakes him and chops him in the corner. Atomo then chop back. Atomo yanks on the arm. Super 2nd rope clubs PP's arm then armdrags him.

Super armlocks PP. Manu comes in and chops Super in the corner. Manu is pulled over the top rope. Atomo holds the ropes open for a Super tope on the heels. Atomo cannonballs the heels off the apron and almost lands on his head. Atomo is sent into the post. Manu uranage backbreakers Super. 

Manu knees Super and chops him. Manu falcon arrows Super. PP suplexes Super for 2. PP back elbows Super. Super is whipped into a PP back elbow. Super is stomped on in the corner. PP boots Super in the head.

Super hits chops on PP then PP lifting flatliners him for 2. Manu chops Super in the corner then pulls his arms back. Super fights back and spinning ddt's Manu. Atomo comes in. He hits punches on PP then back body drops him. Atomo back body drops Manu. Atomo hits lariats on the heels then running neckbreakers them for 2. Manu olympic slams Atomo. 

Super top rope crossbodies Manu. Super casadora bulldogs Manu. All 4 fight and the Atomo's are sent into each other. Manu forearms PP on accident and is dropkicked out. Atomo death valley drivers PP and Super pins PP with Atomo's help to win.

Thoughts: It was a good match. They had great timing here, they followed a nice hot tag format and it was just a very simple match done well. The crowd was into this as well which helped things. 

The Atomo's are interviewed in the ring after. Atomo is asked if this will be his last match. He says it is and said he told Super Atomo to join him one last time. He says there's nothing better than leaving with this win. He says he was born in the IWA and will finish in the IWA. He says he will be keeping a close eye on Super Atomo and says he will be there if he needs him. He says as they say in this company, nothing is what it seems. He says he wants to do something few fighters get to do. Atomo then says he wants to unmask and he does as Alberto Munoz.Atomo then raises Super Atomo's hand.

Mike Mendoza vs. Dragon Nihan

Drag has Savio Vega with him.

Drag shoulders MM over then boots him. Drag clubs him and headbutts him. Drag hiptosses him then running knees him in the corner. Drag chops him in the corner and foot chokes him. MM chops Drag and Drag punches him down. Savio hits MM with a bat outside. 

Drag is pushed into the post. MM's tope is caught and he is rammed back first into the post. Drag clubs MM then knees him in the corner. Drag foot chokes him.  

Drag back elbows him for 2. MM flying forearms him twice. MM dropkicks him in the knee. Drag is pulled over the top. Mike topes him outside twice. Drag's throat is pulled over the top rope. MM slingshot ddt's him. MM top rope double stomps Drag's back for 2. Drag dropkicks him for 2. 

MM boots him out of the corner. MM is caught off the top and chokeslammed for 2. MM gets on his back with a sleeper. Drag back body drops him and hits a big superkick. Drag powerbombs him for the win.

Thoughts: Mike had a hard time with Nihan here. He didn't really connect on some of his moves and it made the match look fake. He did try to do the usual offense wrestlers do like attacking the knee and going for the sleeper though. Nihan had a cool superkick here. Because he's so big, his leg extended about half-way across the ring. This was a bit below average.

Dragon powerbombs him after. Savio Veg's crew of Mascara Pura, Edrax, Manu, Portillo and Carlos Controversia stomp Mike after. Jay Blake comes out wand hits the heels with a piece of wood. The rest of the heels then run as he comes after them. 

Savio gets on the mic. He says Jay is scum and is useless as a champion and wrestler. He says Ricky Banderas will take the title to Mexico. Jay says Vega's group is growing bigger and bigger. He says none of them will change what will happen. Vega says that won't happen in his life. Vega says they will finish him off.

Excellent Mantell will explain his turn on Pupe Jackson

Fernando Tonos tries to stop Excellent Mantell in the back. Mantell beats up Pupe Jackson in his locker room and says he doesn't want to lose. 

Overall thoughts: It was a good show. We had an okay opener with a big turn. The women did what they were supposed to do in their match but it wasn't very athletic. I liked the tag match with The Atomo's. The main was a bit below average. I'd give it a lower 6 out of 10.
