WWE Matches from WWE World 2026 4/17/2026 - 4/20/2026

Note - WWE only aired 3 sets of matches live from WWE World. These are some of the matches that didn't get aired live. There are still matches that haven't been shown yet though. I was surprised we got to see these.

Blake Howard and Robert Stone are on commentary. The commentary is taped though and not live.

4/17/2026 - WWE NXT Title - Tony D'Angelo (c) vs Bravo Americano

BA stalls a bit and dances for the crowd. Tony then does a dance. BA boots him as he dances and side headlocks him. BA forearms and boots him. Tony punches back. Tony lariats him then squats and suplexes him. BA trips Tony then pulls him crotch first into the post.

BA hits mounted corner punches then Tony atomic drops him. Tony corner lariats him. Tony hits mounted corner punches. Tony airplane spins him then BA airplane spins him. BA gets dizzy with him then airplane spins the ref on accident. Tony recovers and spears BA. He then pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short and safe match with them doing some comedy. It was mildly entertaining and that may have been the best they could do with a cold match like this without true faces or heels. 

4/17/2026 - Ivy Nile vs. Kendal Grey

Ivy rolls her on the lock up then pulls her down. KG does fireman's carry takeovers. They do a double knuckle lock and Ivy pushes her down. Ivy waistlock takedowns her. KG sends her out of the ring when she spins out of the waistlock takedown and she waistlock takedowns the ref. KG is dizzy.

Ivy stalls outside and KG bangs Ivy's head off the apron. KG back elbows her then slindes between her legs. Ivy lariats her down then stomps her. Ivy flying kicks her in the corner then germans her for 2. 

KG's face is banged off the mat. KG rolls her up for 2 and Ivy lariats her for 2. KG rolls her off a side headlock then back elbows her. KG boots her out of the corner. KG hits running back elbows then germans her. KG suplexes her twice. KG 2nd rope ddt's her for 2. 

Ivy clubs her on the buckles. KG gordbusters her off the 2nd rope. KG top rope crossbodies her but Ivy backrolls through. KG cradles her for 2. Ivy misses a flying corner kick. KG kind of flatliners her I guess and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. Ivy doesn't have the much personality and isn't super exciting. It was a cold match and I didn't like KG doing a takedown on the ref either. 

4/17/2026 - Sol Ruca vs Izzi Dame

Chip Danning is our ref. Izzi looks for cheers from the crowd then Sol does the same. Sol tries to get the crowd to do the wave. 

Izzi boots her in the gut and throws her out. Sol gets back in and is thrown out again. Izzi surfs on Sol's back inside and does suck it taunt's. Sol gets a 2 count on her an is booted. Sol is thrown out again. Sol tries to get in and Izzi is waiting to intercept her.

Izzi misses an elbow drop on her. Sol standing moonsaults her. Sol surf's on Izzi's back. Sol slingshot facebusters her. Izzi is thrown out and Sol does the "suck it" taunt. Izzi gets back in and is hit with a sol snatcher. Sol pins her.

Thoughts: It was a lazy and stupid match here with them goofing around the whole time and Izzi getting pinned with only a couple of matches.  

4/18/2026 - Axiom vs Grayson Waller

Ax has Nathan Frazer with him. GW stalls outside to start then goes after Ax when he turns around. Ax rolls him up for 2 counts. Ax flying headscissors him out. Ax stomps GW's hand then armdrags him off the ropes. Ax dropkicks him and chinlocks him. 

Ax goes for a springboard and GW kicks the ropes. GW yanks on the leg. Ax basement dropkicks him. GW dropkicks him in the knee. Ax's head is banged off the buckles. Ax is put in tree of woe and kicked. GW teases a coast to coast dropkick then just stands on his crotch. 

GW knees Ax in the face. GW misses a 2nd rope elbow drop. They trade shots. Ax half-nelson suplexes him. Ax PK's him for 2. Ax misses a move off the buckles. GW goes for a move and Ax hurricanrana's him. Ax low flying knees him. Ax goes for a tope and is hit with a forearm. GW rolls in and hits a stunner. GW then pins him.

Thoughts: It was a short but acceptable battle here. It wasn't anyone's best work or anything but they kept it moving and didn't botch.

4/20/2026 - AAA Mixed Tag Titles - Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana (c) vs Thea Hail and Shiloh Hill

Thea Hail brings her own toy to battle La Yesca and it's a toy cheetah. They compete for cheers with the toys. They then try to do tricks with the toys. 

The girls go at it. Thea side headlocks her then Lola side headocks her back. Lola shoulders her over and dances. Lola armbars her then Thea goes for the kimura. Thea rolls her up for 2.  They trade more pin attempts. 

Hill and Iguana got in. Ig goofs around on the mat and Hill misses a stomp. Hill grabs a leg and Ig enzugiri's him. Ig top rope crossbodies him for 2. Hill slams him down. Thea gives Hill the toy cheetah and he hits Ig with it for 2. 

Hill hits a corner spear. Thea headscissors Hill into a corner spear on Ig. Thea superkicks Lola then single arm ddt's her. Thea armlocks Lola. Thea knees her in the gut. Lola back elbows her.

Lola boots Thea away and the boys tag in. Ig flying headscissors Hill. Hill is sent into the buckles. Ig step up enzugiri's him. Ig backrolls and catches hill with a spinning ddt while on Hill's shoulder. Lola hits spin kicks on Thea then backdrops her for 2. 

Ig pulls Hill over the top. Thea takes La Yesca from Ig and throws it outside. Hill and Ig both grab their toys and rub them together. The ref then topes both of them for some reason. Lola hits a kick flurry on Thea. Hill blocks Lola then Ig superkicks Hill. Lola and Iguana dosey-do and hit stereo hip attacks and stink faces. Iguana gets Hill's teeth stuck in his butt. Iguana then puts the tooth in the Yesca's mouth.

Iguana hits Hill with La Yesca. He then shoves La Yesca in Thea's face. Lola then rolls up Thea and gets the pin.

Thoughts: They blamed AAA rules for this but it was easily one of the least serious matches in WWE in years. It was all screwing around here and the ref hitting a tope on the wrestlers is definitely not something we have seen here. This was not a WWE style match and I hope we don't see anything like this again. 

Overall thoughts: These were all put up separately on Youtube, but I put them together for this post. Therefore, I won't be rating the show as whole. Axiom/Waller wasn't bad and was the best match of the night. Izzi/Sol was a short and lazy match. The main was indy level comedy and not something I ever want to see in WWE again. I didn't like Ivy/Kendal and Tony/Bravo was short and mildly entertaining. There was nothing you really needed to see here but it was cool to see some matches we might not have seen otherwise.
