MUSASHI & Saito Brothers (Naruki Doi & Rei Saito) vs. Hokuto Omori, Takashi & Xyon

Rei pinned Omori with a bodypress. It was a not so serious tag match based around Takashi's usual throat thrusts and Rei being the power guy. It wasn't much of note and wasn't that good.

They lock up and Kuma clean breaks him. Kuma side headlocks him. They shoulder battle. Odd knees him in the gut. Odd clubs him then gets dropkicked in the corner. Thoughts:
It was an alright hoss vs hoss match here. They squished each other and did a lot of lariats. It made sense and they did their job here.

Thoughts: They basically flipped switch during the middle of this and picked things up fast. That was fine with me as it did make it more interesting. Honda had some nice lariats as usual and I'd say it wasn't bad overall.

They trade forearms. Ren shotgun dropkicks him. HS hits him in the gut, throws him over by the arm and pins him with a bridge.

Thoughts:
It didn't look promising on paper and wasn't that much more interesting in reality. These are two of the lesser exciting guys on the roster and this wasn't that great. Ren took two bumps over the top to the floor which you don't see him do everyday.

They go at it more after with HS taunting him.

Seigo Tachibana, Seiki Yoshioka & Zennichi Shin Jidai (Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO) vs. Daisuke Sekimoto, Dan Tamura, Ryo Inoue & The Bodyguard

Thoughts
: Seigo pinned Dan at the last show too and they are definitely pushing the case for him being a challenger. It wasn't long. Everyone made the best of what they got in this juniors and heavies bout. It was average.

They chop each other. Shota springboard flying forearms him then fisherman suplexes him. MK shoulders him over then flying hip attacks him. MK lariats him then spinning lariats him for the win.

Thoughts:
It was a vet vs rookie match for the most part and basically a squash. Shota tried dropkicks and chops and didn't get too far before being put down.

Go is pushed off the lock up and Tal poses. Go hits a punch and tries to shoulder him over but gets nowhere. Go headbutts him then Tal shoulders him over. Go headscissors him over the top rope and flying shoulders him off the apron. Tal is then sent into the post.

Thoughts: They had the right idea but they chose the wrong person to do it with. They just had Go main eventing with their top star last night and they had him jobbing here. This just made Go look bad and was a stupid idea.

Champion Carnival 2026 Block A Match - Kento Miyahara vs. Yuma Anzai

Ken and Yuma lock up and Ken ropebreaks. Yuma then ropebreaks and Ken hits him. Yuma waistlocks him then Ken wristlocks him. Yuma hammerlocks him. Ken trips him and leg locks him. They trade forearms. They bang knees. Yuma flying knees him from behind then flying knees him in the face for 2. Yuma meteora's him for 2. Ken flying pumping knees him then pumping knees him for 2. Yuma flying knees him. Ken blocks his gimlet attempt and the 30 minute time limit expires.

Thoughts: They spent a lot of this one outside on the floor. AJPW loves outside brawling but I think it often just disrupts the flow of the match. Ken really beat up on Yuma for the first half of this then Yuma eventually made his comeback and things evened up. They absolutely spammed flying knees here. I thought it was acceptable and it was nice to see them get lots of time to work with, but I didn't love this.
Ken talks on the mic after. Ken goes to leave then Yuma talks on the mic.

Overall thoughts:
The opener wasn't much as expected. Kuma/Oddysey was a decent hoss match. Honda/Aoyagi picked up in the second half of their match and it wasn't bad. Ayabe/Suzuki looked boring on paper and it was. The 8-man tag was average. Kikuta/Kofuji was a squash. Talos/Shozaki was also a squash. The main went to a 30 minute draw. They spent a lot of time outside and spammed flying knees. I thought it was acceptable but not much more. I'd give this a 5 out of 10. It was an average show and nothing here really need to be seen.
