El Audaz, Rey Cometa & Volcano vs. Crixus, Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Okumura

Oku and Rey go at it. They trade some basic holds. Rey headflips out of a wristlock and armdrags him. Oku back elbows him. Oku escapes an armbar and they both tag out. Stuka and Audaz go at it. Stuka takes him down and flips him while holding the arms. Stuka flips over Aud's back then Aud dropkicks him. Aud monkey flips Crix but Crix lands on his feet and knocks him over. Vol slams Crix then hiptosses Stuka. Aud bodyblocks Oku and hits a double clothesline. Vol legdrop and elbow drops Oku.

Rey is popped up and dropped by Crix. Aud flips out of  a powerlsam, walks the ropes and headscissors Crix. Aud flips out of a hiptoss and flying headscissors Oku. Aud flying headscissors Stuka then is flipped off the apron into an armdrag on him on the floor.

Rey backslides Crix then tilt-a-whirl armdrags him. Rey flying headscissors Oku then flying headscissors Stuka off the apron. Vol armdrags Crix then boots him. Vol misses a corner splash. Crix hits lariats on Vol.

Crix spears Vol. Crix runs the ramp and topes Vol inside the ring. Rey takes a gorilla press slam from Crix then Stuka is double hiptossed off the ropes into a splash on Rey. Oku death valley drivers Audaz. Vol hits a double dropkick then crossbodies Crix off the apron. Rey hits tilt-a-whirl armdrags then topes Oku outside.

Stuka does a corkscrew moonsault off the top outside. Aud does a double jump swanton outside. Crix then tope con hilos Vol outside. Oku iconoclasms Aud and Stuka jumping knees Aud. Stuka hits a ddt on Aud and pins him then Oku submits Rey.

Thoughts: It was a decent opener. Volcano impressed as he usually does and Crixus was okay here.

La Ola Negra (Dark Magic, Espanto Jr. & Raider) vs. Barboza, Difunto & Zandokan Jr.

1st Fall - Dif and Esp go at it. Esp side headlocks him and crucifixes him. Dif armdrags him then does a grounded cobra twist. Their partners come in and all 6 fight. Raider is triple stomped on then Raider hits a double lcothesline. Zand takes a pop-up powerbomb.

Barb is back body dropped over the top rope. Raider dropkicks Dark on accident then takes a spinning heel kick from Dif. Dif is then flipped outside onto Dark. Esp release germans Zand. Esp flapjacks him and taps him out with a crossface to win the fall.

2nd Fall - Raider back body drops Esp. Zand is triple teamed and Barb is stomped on by Dark in the corner. Raider and Dark stand on Barb in the corner. Raider is tripped into the buckles. The heels get stacked together in the corner and Barb is popped up into a dropkick on them. Zand is overhead suplexed into them then Dif is gorilla press flipped into them. Dark suplexes Barb for 2. Barb hits an AA on his knee on Dark. Dif walks up the buckles and springboard crossbodies Raider for 2.

Raider gorilla press gutbusters Dif. Then they crossbody each other at the same time. Zand and Esp go for pins at the same time. Everyone fights outside. Barb dropkicks Dark inside then tope con hilos him. Dif does a wild walk up the buckles, drop down swanton outside. Raider corkscrew moonsaults off the top outside.

Zand goes for a tombstone on Esp but the ref stops him. Zand tiger drivers him then taps him out with a crab. Espn then gets stomped by his other 2 opponents and they push the ref over for stopping it. The ref then gives Esp the victory, reversing the decision. Espanto's team wins the fall and match.

The 6 keep fighting after. 

Thoughts: It was a wild match here. Zand's team hit some cool moves and Difunto was the highlight here being a wildman. The wrestler really put a lot of effort into this and I liked it. I liked the brawling after the match as well.  

Dark Silueta & Zeuxis vs. La Catalina & Samantha Black

Cat = La Catalina, Z = Zeuxis

1st Fall - Dark and Cat start us off. Dark takes her down and pulls on the hair. Dark wristlocks her then Cat side headlock takeovers her. Dark then headscissors her. Cat wristlocks her then Dark armdrags her. They stand off and Dark hits a big slap.

Cat armdrags Dark. Dark knees her then Cat facekicks her. Cat hip attacks her on the ropes. Z gets in and kicks Cat. Z basement dropkicks her and kicks her in the head.

Sam and Z go at it. Sam rolls over her then springboard armdrags her. Z dropkicks her and Sam flying headscissors her off the buckles. Dark superkicks Sam and pulls on her hair. Sam goes up and over and crossbodies her after rolling out of a sunset flip. Sam flying headscissors Dark.

Dark spinebusters her. Cat sunset flips Z off of Sam's back and Sam taps out Dark with a headscissors. Cat then picks up the pin on Z. La Catalina's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Cat and Z go at it. Cat shoulders her over and basement dropkicks her. Dark knees Cat while she runs the ropes and Cat is double stomped on by her opponents. Dark and Z get dropkicked then trip Sam and Cat into basement dropkicks.

Cat's head is banged off the buckles by Dark. Cat takes a double kick. Sam is double spinebustered then lifted for a codebreaker by Z. Sam takes a ki krusher and is pinned. Z hits a lifting codebreaker on Cat and pins her. Zeuxis' team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - The girls fight outside. Z snapmares Sam then kicks her in the back. Cat is double hiptossed into the ropes then thrown down chest first. Sam sends her opponents into each other. Sam then walks up the buckles and ropes then does a headscissors + armdrag takeover. Cat top rope double crossbodies her opponents. Dark takes attacks against the buckles.

Sam is laid on the top rope and Dark springboard dropkicks her. Z meteora's her for 2. Cat facebusters Z. Sam walks up Z's back and legdrops the back of her neck.

Cat is sat on the 2nd rope and Dark backcrackers her. Sam lariats Dark. Cat cannonballs Z off the apron then Sam top rope planchas outside. Sam is flipped onto Z by Cat. Sam pins Z. Cat top rope splashes Dark pins her. La Catalina's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was about average. Samantha Black had a decent showing and I wouldn't be surprised to see her pop-up again. She's decent looking and moves well.

They talk about the Grand Prix de Amazons and announce the girls for it. The one block has Samantha Black, Tessa Blanchard, willow Nightingale, Persephone, Red Velvet, La Catalina, Viva Van, Sayaka Yanagi, Sumika Yanagawa and Alex Windsor. The Mexican block has Amapola, Skadi, Lluvia, Kira, Sanely, Princesa Sugehit, Zeuxis, Reyna Isis, Dark Silueta and Hera.

Volador Jr. vs. Hechicero

1st Fall - Vol is pushed off the buckles as he poses. Hech beats him up outside and beats up KeMalito in the process. Ke is then thrown on Vol. Vol is crotched on the rails and Hech pounds on him. Hech elbow drops him off the apron.

Hech hits lariats then step up knees him. Hech rolls him and flips him into a crucifix submission. Hech submits him to win the fall.

2nd Fall - Hech beats up Vol outside. Hech powerbombs Vol. Hech punches Vol in the head. Vol takes a basement dropkick. Vol flying headscissors Hech then topes him. Vol top rope crossbodies Hech then superkicks him. Vol backcrackers Hech then KeMalito top rope splashes Hech. Vol then pins Hech.

3rd Fall - Hech beats up KeMalito then Vol flying headscissors Hech out. Vol slingshot headscissors Hech outside. Hech top rope flying elbows Vol for 2. Vol headscissors Hech while on his shoulders for 2. Vol unties Hech's mask. Hech pulls Vol down on a leapdrog and rolls him around the pin into a pin attempt for 2. Vol hits a code red on Hech for 2. Hech enzugiri's him for 2.

Hech misses a springboard dropkick then puts the ref in his way. Hech throws his mask at Vol and pretends vol took it off. The ref knows it wasn't. Vol cradles Hech and wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: I didn't like the ending to the 2nd or 3rd falls. KeMalito cheated in the 2nd fall to give Vol the win. Then the finish to the 3rd fall wasn't executed well with Hech costing himself the match. It was acceptable otherwise but the finishes stunk here.

Hech gets on the mic after and says this isn't over. He says it will continue.

CMLL Universal De Amazones 2024 Semi Final Cibernetico Match - Lluvia vs. Reyna Isis vs. Skadi vs. Tessa Blanchard vs. Sanely vs. Valkiria vs. Kira vs. Persephone vs. Hera vs. Tabata

Val has black with green and red on. Tabata has rainbow colors on (the tron says she's Catalina for some reason). Hera has black and purple on. Kira has white and gold on. Reyna has red on. LLuvia (I'll call her L) has red and white on. 

Seeding Battle Royale

Sane gets dropkicked off the apron and is eliminated. Hera gets tossed out in a monkey flip type of move. Skadi blocks a double russian legsweep then lariats Tessa and Valk over the top. Skadi is then sent out and our teams are seat.

Cibernetico

Tab and Valk go at it. Valk takes an armdrag and Tab works her leg. Tab rolls her with the arm. Valk back body drops her. Valk step up enzugiri's her. Tab 2nd rope dropkicks her. Reyna and Sane go at it. Reyna arm throws her down and armdrags her. Sane ripcord armdrags her then armdrags her. Reyna armdrags her.

Kira and Hera fight. Hera hits a step up enzugiri. Kira springboard headscissors her then tornillo topes her through the ropes. Tess and L go at it. Tess goes up and over then L armdrags her. Tess misses a corner charge and goes out. L lifts her by the hair. L's opponents then jump her from behind and a big fight breaks out.

Skadi and Pers go at it. Pers hits a code red then Skadi pumphandle backbreakers her. Valk dropkicks Skadi on accident. Reyna top rope crossbodies Pers and neckbreakers her. Valk goes and up and over then headscissors her. Reyna flying headscissors her out. Reyna 2nd rope corkscrew plancha's her.  

Tab double jump diving armdrags Sane in the ring. Tab splits out of a lariat then Sane lariats her. Tab headscissors her over. They go out and Tab uses the rails to armdrag her. Sakdi lariats L in the ring and basement dropkicks her. L 2nd rope diving headscissors Skadi.

L botches a flying headscissors on Skadi. Pers and Hera fight. era is pulled down on a leapfrog. Pers crucifixes her. Pers forearms Hera over. Hera walks the ropes and armdrags her out. Hera walks up the ropes and plancha's Pers outside. Tab topes Hera then Sane does a 2nd rope plancha. Valk hits a plancha on Sane.

Valk dropkicks Kira then splashes her for 2. Kira 619's her in the gut then 450's her. Kira pins Valk and Valkyria is eliminated. Tess rolls up Pers and Pers bridges out of a lariat. Pers superkicks her then Tess hits a jumping cutter.

Tab stunners Skadi then basement dropkicks her for 2. Skadi catches Tab and then backbreakers her. Skadi michinoku drivers Tab and pins her. Tabata is eliminated.

L top rope crossbodies Skadi then Sane basement dropkicks L. Sane stomps on L in the corner and low crossbodies her. Kira walks up the buckles and armdrags Sane down. Tessa beats up on Kira. Kira flips over Tessa's back then rolls her up for 2. Tessa superkicks her.

Kira is stuck on the 2nd buckle and Tess codebreakers her. Kira sunset bombs Tess into the rails. Reyna and Hera go at it. Reyna corner lariats her. Reyna suplexes her for 2. Hera top rope dropkicks Reyna for 2. Hera exposes Reyna's butt on accident when pulling on her trunks. 

Reyna hurricanrana's Hera off the buckles then tapes her out by tying up her legs and lifting her in the air while holding both arms. Hera is eliminated.

Pers springboard crossbodies Sane but Sane rolls through it. Pers superkicks her. Sane does a tarantula variation on Pers. Pers is tripped on the ropes then Sane 2nd rope  double knee drops her as she hangs. Kira gets in and Sane does a double leg submission to tap her out. Kira is eliminated.

Skadi double underhook backbreakers L for 2. Skadi is double teamed on the ropes and L dropkicks her. L then pins Skadi. Skadi is eliminated.

Pers dropkicks Sane then fisherman suplexes her. Pers pounds on Sane and springboard splashes her. Pers pins Sane. Sanely is eliminated.

Tessa and Reyna go at it. Reyna armdrags her off the tilt-a-whirl. Tessa spinning samoan drops her and pins her. Pers hits chest forearms on Tessa. Tessa basement dropkicks Pers out then topes her. L top rope plancha's Tessa. Pers then top rope tornillos outside. Pers is sent into the rails outside then thrown over them. Tessa superkicks L outside and sends her into the post.

L shotgun dropkicks Pers. Tessa rolls up L then L bangs Tessa's head off the buckles. L basement dropkicks her and pins her. Tessa Blanchard is eliminated.

Pers slips off the top rope. L ties up Pers' legs and pulls her hair. L rolls up Pers for 2 then Pers backslides her. Pers superkicks her. L knees her on the ropes then basement dropkicks her. Pers spears L for 2.

Pers hits forearms and chops on L. They trade corner lariats. Pers pulls on L's hair and bangs her head off the buckles. L takes a splash mountain and Pers pins her. Persephone wins the cibernetico.

Thoughts: I kind of dreaded doing this because I knew it was going to be 30 minutes. It was long and not that good. They tried but the girls aren't as athletic as the guys. There were some sloppy moments here and the flow wasn't quite there. It would have been better if it were shorter and if people like Kira got more time.

Overall thoughts: I liked the first two matches but not much else. The women's cibernetico went long and wasn't that good and there were some bad finishes in the Hechicero match. I wouldn't recommend this.
