WWE Smackdown 3/13/2026

We are in Phoenix, Arizona. Jose Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hang out. 

Nick Aldis is shown looking at a contract in the back. Drew McIntyre comes out and says Nick can shove that contract up his @ss. Drew says his title was stolen from his last week. He says Nick had to make sure the golden boy won the title at Mania.

Nick Aldis comes out. He says there's nothing to make right. He said part of being champ is defending the title. He says Drew headbutted a ref and is playing the victim again. Nick says Drew needs to look at the consequences of his own actions. Drew says Nick had to make sure the corporate champ got the title. Nick brings up Drew screwing Cody twice in matches. Nick says Drew did everything he could to prevent Cody from getting a fair shot, because as soon as he did, he beat Drew. Drew says Nick knows this is BS. He says Nick will make this right or else. 

Jacob Fatu comes out. He says Drew wouldn't be champ if it wasn't for him. Fatu says he fixed the situation last week so Drew is no longer champ. Fatu says Drew is blaming everyone but himself. Fatu says he's the one that screwed Drew. He asks Drew what he will do about it.

Drew says he's done with Nick, Cody and Fatu and he quits.

Thoughts: It was okay segment and it made sense. Drew continues his gimmick where he blames everyone, Nick tells Drew it's all his fault then Drew quit. I popped for Fatu telling Drew that he screwed him.

We see wrestlers hanging out in the back.

The MFT's have Howdy's lantern. Solo says last week's plan worked perfectly. He says The Wyatt's aren't the #1 contenders and they still have the lantern. Solo says him and Talla will take care of Rowan and Howdy. Solo tells Tama to guard the lantern with his life and says The Wyatt's are nothing without it. 

Shinsuke Nakamura goes up to Tama and say something that I can't make out. Solo then comes back in and tells Nakamura to stay away before he gets hurt.

Aldis and Fatu talk in the back. Fatu says Drew quit when he was about to whoop him. Trick Williams walks in. He says he's the only one who does the whooping around here. Fatu tells him to shut up and says he's a jive. He says the only jive Trick has is Fatu whooping his @ss. Nick tries to cool off the situation. Fatu says look what happened last time Nick told him to do that. Fatu leaves. Trick says Orton disrespected him. Nick says he's busy but if Trick wants Fatu, he will get him. Nick tells him one guy already quit and if he doesn't want 2 people out of a job, he better get ready.

The Wyatt Sicks (Erick Rowan & Uncle Howdy) vs. The MFT's (Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga)

Rown and Talla shoulderblock battle. Talla shoulders him over. Talla headbutts Rown and chokes him on the 2nd rope. Rown shoulders over Solo. Howdy boots Solo in the corner. Solo hits punches on Howdy and Howdy punches back. Talla pulls Howdy out and bangs his head off the commentary table. Howdy is then sent into the rails.

We go to PiP break and return. Talla chops down Howdy. Talla corner lariats him then samoan drops him. Solo goes for sister abigail. Howdy backdrops him to stop it. Rown and Talla tag in. Rowan hits punches. Talla bends over and is ddt'd. Rowan dropkicks him and running back elbows him. 

Talla boots Rowan out of the corner then Rowan crossbodies him. Solo enzugiri's Rown from the apron. Talla lariats Rowan. Solo comes off the top and Rowan gets his knees up. Solo samoan spikes Howdy for 2.  Talla lariats Rowan over the top and they knock each other down outside. The MFT's and The Wyatt's fight outside. Solo samoan spikes Dexter. Nikki Cross grabs the lantern. Solo yells at her. Howdy hits a sister abigail on Solo and pins him.

Thoughts: It was the usual match between these groups and wasn't anything too special. This feud has been going on forever and it's hard to care at this point.

Howdy grabs the lantern then Tama nails Howdy. Tama then takes the lantern.

Damian Priest and R-Truth watch in the back. Truth thinks The MFT's are The Judgment Day. They argue about it. Los Garza come in. Angel says they are the #1 contenders because of Los Garza. Berto says they did the hard work and Truth's team won. Priest says Los Garza did the hard work and they wiped the floor with them. Truth says he never met them and one of them is not wearing deodorant. Priest says he will talk to Aldis and tells them to get ready for a match tonight. 

Giulia and Kiana James talk. Giulia asks if Tiffany Stratton really thinks she deserves the title. She says Tiff can't even beat Kiana. Kiana says she has no problem with beating Tiff and says she will show Tiffy Time has expired.

Michin vs. Jade Cargill

Mich comes in from behind and nails Jade. She spin kicks and high kicks Jade. Mich dropkicks her then hits shots in the corner. Mich top rope diving headscissors Jade. Mich then topes her. Jade pump kicks her. Jade slams and stomps her. 

Jade boots Mich in the gut. They hit each other. Jade is sent out when Mich hangs out on the ropes. Mich PK's Jade from the apron. Mich jumps off the apron, Jade catches her and fallaway slams her on the floor.

We go to break and return.  Jade spinebusters Mich for 2. Mich stunners Jade and botches a tornado ddt for 2. Mich hits a sliced bread and a soul foot. Mich misses a cannonball off the apron. Jade powerbombs Mich on the rail top. Jade licks her, chokeslams her and hits a jade end to win.

Thoughts: This has been a weird feud as they have been going at it for a long time then someone gets hurt or something and it never gets fully resolved. This should be it here as Mich lost clean. Mich tried and it was acceptable, just not much more. Jade won as expected.

Jade is about to be interviewed in the ring and she takes the mic. She says what happened here is what happens when wrestlers believe in their own hype. Jade says everyone backstage knows what it is. She says when people see her in the hallways, it gets quiet. She says everyone tells her to be scared of Rhea Ripley. Jade says she doesn't see a threat and has never been afraid of anything in her life. She says she's not starting today. She says she will beat Rhea's @ss at Wrestlemania and says she will show her why she's always on top.

Rhea Ripley comes out and Jade backs out. Rhea says Jade ran her mouth and is now running from a fight with her. She says Jade isn't the embodiment of female empowerment. Rhea says Jade will be her b!tch after Mania.

Cody Rhodes and Nick Aldis talk in the back. Nick says he doesn't know what's going on with Drew and tells Cody to focus on the contract. Cody says it's all there. 

Sami Zayn talks to Cody. He says congratulations. He said he would win the title and he did. He says he's rooting for him at Mania. Cody says Sami said the same thing to Orton. Cody asks if Sami wants a title shot. Sami says he can't believe Cody would think so lowly of him. Sami said he said what he said to Orton as he's a 14x champ and there won't be anyone like him. He says he looks up to Orton but not Cody. He says they are friends though and friends are supposed to be equals. Sami says Cody doesn't get to talk down to him like that. 

Cody says he looks up to him, is inspired by him and talked good about him to the media. Cody says Sami doesn't need to look right up to him, just look at the belt. Cody leaves and Sami gets upset again.

Aleister Black and Zelina Vega come in. Black asks if the world title is not meant for Sami as he has to keep chasing it. Sami tells him to stay far away from him.

Michin and B-Fab talk in the back. Rhea Ripley comes up to Mich and ays great match. Mich says congrats on her Mania match and implies Rhea is pitying her. B-Fab says Mich just needs a second and says they need to go somewhere and talk.

The Bella Twins come out to talk to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair before the next match. They say they wanted to say hi to their home town. The Twins say they aren't here to wish them luck. The Twins say they came back for gold and are next in line for the Women's Tag Titles. The Twins say they will watch ringside so they can get a good look at their competition.

WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match - The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax) (c) vs. Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair

The heels hit Bliss and Flair at the bell. Nia foot chokes Bliss. The faces hit boots out of the corners and pull Nia out. Lash takes a double dropick. Bliss flips onto Nia off the apron but is caught and dropped on the apron. Flair slingshot plancha's Nia. Lash pump kicks Flair. The heels then yell at the Bellas as go to PiP break.

We return from break. Bliss up kicks Lash. Bliss is caught off the 2nd rope. Flair is tagged in. Flair top rope crossbodies Lash. She then hits chops on Lash. Flair forward cartwheel lariats Lash. Nia samoan drops Flair. 

Nia misses a banzai drop. Flair top rope moonsaults Nia for 2. Bliss top rope diving tornado ddt's Lash. Nia is pushed into the post outside. Nia nearly runs into The Bella's. Nia pulls a Bella into Flair and Flair kicks her on accident. Nia nails the other Bella. Flair hits superkicks on Nia then hits natural selection. The Bella's then get involved and the match is thrown out.

Thoughts: This was all about the angle. They needed to get The Bella's involved and now they have. Nia didn't have one of her better nights here as she was taking weak bumps.

Lash lariats a Bella and Bliss after. Flair nails Lash. The other Bella nails Nia and Lash. Lash lariats a Bella. A Bella is held in the air and Nia 2nd rope legdrops her down. 

R-Truth talks to Jelly Roll in the back. Damian Priest interrupts. Truth says his name is "Sushi Roll". 

Jelly Roll talks to Randy Orton and congratulates him on the title win. Orton congratulate him on the Grammy win. Jelly says he will be on MizTV. Orton says if Miz talks too much, whoop his @ss.

Flair and Bliss talk to The Bella's. Bliss said they had the match won until they interfered. Flair says they cost them the titles. The Bella's say they came to fight for the tag titles and are up next.

Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. Los Garza (Angel & Berto)

Los Garza nail the faces before the bell. The heels celebrate and DP double lariats them. DP hits both in the corner. DP flapjacks Angel and Truth scissors kicks Angel. Angel lariats Truth then hits mounted shots. Angel hits headbutts on Truth.

Truth takes a running knee from Angel. Berto pounds on Truth. Truth flying headscissors him. Truth corner splashes Berto. The heels hit stereo moonsaults off the 2nd rope on the faces outside. We go to break and return.

Truth takes a la silla in the corner and Angel superkicks him for 2.  Angel exploders Truth and pounds on him. Angel does the "you can't see me" taunt. Truth suplex lifts Angel into a stunner. Truth back body drops Berto out then sends Angel out. DP hits forearms and kicks on the heels. DP rope walks and crossbodies Berto.

DP running lariats Berto for 2. DP is enzugiri'd then Berto springboard back elbows DP. Angel asai moonsaults DP. Berto top rope moonsaults and DP gets his foot up. DP hits a razor's edge on Angel.  The heels take a south of heaven and AA at the same time. DP and Truth pick up stereo pins to win.

Thoughts: The work was fine. Los Garza had no shot here and the only question was how long it took. Priest honestly benefits from the Truth partnership more than Truth does as Truth can make anything work. I think they've finally realized Priest isn't that interesting as a solo face and are finally moving on from it. They can let this team run for a while, then have DP turn on Truth and get DP back to being the heel he should be.

Alex Shelley and Candice LeRae talk with Gargano laying on a box. Alex tries to wake up Gargano from his trance. LeRae says she doesn't know what to do. Alex says they need to get back to basics. LeRae says he's right and needs to get Gargano back to Johnny Wrestling.

Chris Sabin comes in. He asks why Alex is wasting his time with Johnny Gargano. Sabin says Alex is wasting his time helping the man who cost them the tag titles. Sabin says he got them a match with Fraxiom. Sabin asks if Alex is still committed to the team and tells him to prove it.

Danhausen talks to The Miz in the back. He gives Miz his shirt to wear tonight. Miz is mad about him getting his own shirt and says not everyone gets a shirt. Dan says he can replace MizTV and Miz gets upset. Dan then says Miz is cursed. Dan then leaves because Miz can reply.

MizTV

Miz's mic cuts out as she goes to talk, likely due to Danhausen's curse. Jelly Roll is brought out. Jelly says he wasn't going to miss  the Mania contract signing ceremony tonight. Miz says he sees the potential in Jelly and says he may need a mentor. Jelly says every time Miz gets a partner, he stabs them in the back. Miz says Jelly is a redemption story and nobody talks about the person behind it. Miz takes credit for it. He says Jelly fell down 2 years ago at Summerslam and he picked him up. H says Jelly realized he needed to change his life.

Jelly says he changed his life and not Miz. He says Miz should be disgusted with himself. Miz says he liked Jelly better when he was fat. Jelly says he will whip his @ss fat or skinny. Miz says Jelly better understand who he is in the ring with it. Miz says he's a locker room leader and Jelly says he's a locker room loser.

Kit Wilson comes out. Kit tells Miz to stop wasting his time. He says the problem isn't with Miz, it's with Jelly. Jelly says he likes Kit and this is getting weird. He says we all secretly like him a bit. Jelly then does Kit's dance. Kit says it's the face tattoos, the criminal charges and building a brand in bad behavior. He says Jelly is now mocking him when he's trying to have a serious conversation. 

Kit says Jelly lost 300lbs and he expects the people to cheer him like he's a hero. Kit says Jelly is running from who he truly is and says he's fatphobic. Kit says Jelly doesn't inspire people - he promotes an unhealthy beauty standard. He says Jelly is toxic. They go face to face. Kit shoves Jelly. Miz holds Kit back. Jelly goes to hit Kit and nails Miz instead. Jelly throws a chair and Kit runs.

Ilja Dragunov and Apollo Crews talks about Miz getting hit. Carmelo Hayes comes in. He says he's starting to get it with Ilja and says maybe the open challenge is too much of a burden with him. Ilja says he's fighting between ultimate confidence and self-confidence, but that's the only way he knows how to live. Ilja says he doesn't know peace. Melo says he makes shots and take shots. He says Ilja needs to lock in and says there's maybe more to the reason Ilja doesn't want to fight him. Ilja says he can't fight him as he's fighting himself.

Tiffany Stratton does a promo on Guilia. Chelsea Green wheels her wheelchair in and Tiff rolls her away. Tiff says Giulia can kiss her US Title goodbye as she will know what time it is soon.

The Miz and Kit Wilson talk in the back. Kit says that was toxic and Miz doesn't deserve it. Kit says if Jelly wants a fight, he will give what he wants. Danhausen comes in and asks if Jelly knocked out his teeth, as he could use some. Dan says he could have defended his honor if he was out there. Miz tells him to get out. Dan says there's only one thing he has to do to reverse the curse and Miz says to get out.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Kiana James

They lock up. Tiff side headlocks her. Tiff goes up and over then sunset flips her. Tiff's head is banged off the buckles. Tiff cartwheels and backflips over her. KJ is tripped into the ropes. KJ codebreakers Tiff over the 2nd rope. KJ rams Tiff's back into the apron edge and throws her into the rails.

We go to break and return. Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre come out. Tiff lariats KJ down twice. Tiff handspring backflip back elbows her. Tiff handspring stunners her for 2. KJ falcon arrows Tiff for 2. Tiff finlay rolls her. Giulia saves KJ from the prettiest moonsault ever. Tiff then topes KJ outside.

Chelsea Green goes to hit Tiff and Giulia stops her. Green is pushed back into her wheelchair. KJ facekicks Giulia off the apron, sending her into Alba and Green. Tiff hits a prettiest moonsault ever on KJ and pins her.

Thoughts: They did a nice job of incorporating Green into this. It had a lot of shenanigans in the second half and it was just a match for the most part here.

Trick Williams is interviewed. He says Nick Aldis needs to do his job and shouldn't have made the match. Trick says wants to smack Fatu with his shoes. Sami Zayn interrupts. Sami tells Trick to keep talking. He said he thought Trick was going to walk into Mania. Sami says Trick called him, "Mr. Can't Get The Job Done". Sami brings up Trick's recent losses. He says he talked and can't back it up. Sami says Trick is embarrassed and he should be. Trick says he's lucky he has a match as he would drop him right now. Sami says he's here every week and he'll see him around.

Jacob Fatu vs. Trick Williams

They lock up. They trade shots. Fatu asks if this is all Trick's got. Trick hits chops. Trick leapfrogs and Fatu misses a corner charge. Fatu no sells it and bangs his own head off the buckles. Fatu hits punches and boots. Fatu flying back elbows him. Fatu hits mounted headbutts in the corner. Trick mcgillicutters Fatu and Fatu no sells it. Fatu lariats and sentons him. Fatu handspring moonsaults him. Fatu lariats him over the top. 

We go to PiP break and return. Fatu walks up the buckles and hits whisper in the wind for 2. Fatu hits headbutts on Trick. Trick corkscrew kicks him then jumping neckbreakers him for 2. Fatu uppercuts him then Trick flapjacks him. 

Trick uranage's Fatu for 2. Trick runs into a superkick. Fatu pop-up samoan drops him. Fatu corner hip attacks him. Fatu top rope swantons Trick for 2. Fatu kind of topes Trick outside. Drew McIntyre comes out and running headbutts Fatu. Fatu is sent into the post by Drew.

Drew throws Fatu in. Trick flying pumping knees Fatu. Trick then hits another one and pins him.

Thoughts: This was fine. Trick was pushed right into the main event from the start and nobody has really had a problem with it. Trick's getting more comfortable working these types of matches and is doing great for how quick he was pushed. Drew interfering made sense.

Drew claymore kicks Fatu after. 

Nick Aldis hosts a contract signing for Cody and Orton. Aldis welcomes Drew back and says as a welcome back gift, he get to face Jacob Fatu next week on SD. Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes are brought out.

Orton and Cody sit down. Cody says his first WWE match was against Orton. He said he watched him win The Rumble. He said he thought if he could be like that. He said he left then came back. He said there was no Codyverse when he returned without his brother and wife. He says he had Orton though. He says he's not Orton's son or brother but he has been proud to be his boy. 

Orton says Cody doesn't understand. Orton says he needs Mania and the title. Orton says this wasn't supposed to be hard. Cody says he knows he gets The Legend Killer at Mania and the master of the RKO. He says that's when the bell rings. He says after the main event of Mania when the last bell rings, he will always love him. They sign the contract and shake hands.

Orton bangs Cody's head off the table and low blows him. Orton rips off Cody' shirt and throws him out. Orton throws Cody over the commentary table. Orton hits Cody with the steps. Nick Aldis comes down and Orton pushes him. Cody is busted open. Orton clubs on Cody's chest and bangs his head off the steps.  

Cody is on the table and Orton hits punches on him. Officials come down. Orton pushes Jelly Roll when he tries to intervene. Orton then walks out with blood on him. Cody is bleeding on the steps and commentary table. Jelly yells "oh my God". Orton comes back in with a chair. Cody's head is between the "V" on the steps edge and Orton chairs Cody in the head. Orton then sits in a chair and puts the title on.

Thoughts: I sadly knew this happened before I got to see it. I'm not totally surprised. Orton's done this before and he has proven to be a terrible friend and a loose cannon. This will spice up the Mania match between them a bit. Oddly, it looks like Fatu and Drew may not be involved but that could still change.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer show. These shows don't need to be 3 hours and even without commercials, it felt like it went on forever. The show was okay as a whole but the length brought it down some. We got a lot of storyline advancements with Fatu/Drew, Cody/Orton, The Miz/Jelly/Kit/Danhausen, Sami/Cody and The Bellas/Flair, The Wyatt's/MFT's and Bliss. Mania is taking shape and they did what they were supposed to here. I wouldn't say there was anything that great here though. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.
