We are in San Antonio, TX. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hang out. 

The commentators talk and the masked men all come out. Seth Rollins then reveals himself. Seth says he created The Vision and will be the one to kill The Vision. He says if you stand next to Paul Heyman, consider yourself marked for death. He says he curb stomped Paul Heyman last week.

We then see Paul Heyman come in looking messy with a bruised eye. Seth threatens to cut Paul out like the cancer he is. Paul says he wasn't going to come out here but wouldn't miss this for the world. Paul says because Seth f'd with him, he will f with him. He says everyone knows what the rule is - FAFO, FAFO, FAF-FIVEEEEE.

Brock Lesnar comes out. He lariat and suplexes the masked men hard. Brock then scares some of them off. One of the masked men takes a horrible looking suplex into the rails. The masked men gang up on Brock. Brock throws them around and stares down Seth. 

Oba Femi then comes out. Oba and Brock stare down. Brock turns his head, comes at him and Oba pop-up powerbombs him. Oba stands on Brock's chest and points at the Mania sign.

Thoughts: They've been doing hot angles to open the show lately and this was another one of them. This was good and I'm interested to see where it goes. Oba got big pops for putting down Brock. Brock absolutely destroyed some of the masked men.

We see clips from Rey de Reyes with Grande Americano Original and Grande II going at it.

I'll refer to Kaiser Americano as 2 here and Grande Gable as 1.

1 koppo kicks 2 and hits chops. 1 back body drops him then triangles him over the top rope. 1 gets distracted by Rayo and Bravo then takes a baseball slide. 1 then takes a baseball slide. 2 tilt-a-whirl gutwrenches him for 2. 1 backdrops 2 then yanks his leg. 1 then dragon screws 2.

1 northern lights suplexes 2 for 2. They hockey fight. 2 takes a belly to belly suplex over the top onto his partners. 1 overhead throws 2. 1 russian legsweeps 2 then rolling koppo kicks him. 1 germans 2 then exploders him. 1 cannonballs Rayo off the apron then koppo kicks Bravo. 1 hits a reverse angle slam on 2 for 2. 2 PK's 1. 

2 rolling death valley drivers 1 for 2. 1 belly to belly overhead suplexes 2 into the buckles. 1 ankle locks 2. 2 ropebreaks. 1 chaos theory german's 2. 1 then lariats Rayo over the top and goes with him. Bravo loads up 2's mask. 1 top rope diving headbutts 2 but nails the loaded mask. 2 then pins 1 as he is out.

Thoughts: It was fine and full of shenanigans as expected with Bravo and Rayo being involved and 2 cheating to win. It's a shame this feud isn't as over in the US as it is in Mexico as the Mexican crowds make this so much better. 

Roman Reigns arrives in a car. The Uso's go up to him and they are all happy to see each other. Roman tells them they did the right thing sticking up for the family. Roman says if you run your mouth, there's gotta be consequences. Roman grabs the camera and tells his family they should be offended by what Punk said. Roman says Punk is his at Mania. 

Liv Morgan does a video. She says the turn on Finn Balor was her plan since she joined Judgment Day. She says Finn was on borrowed time and didn't know it. Liv says she knows when Finn is lying and scheming and it's been a pleasure watching him fall from grace. She says he get soft and is a pathetic loser. Liv says they are on to bigger and better things. She says JD will soar without Finn holding him down. She says Dom will get his IC Title back. Liv says Raquel is a future champ and will take care of Vaquer tonight. Liv says she will be the new champ at Mania as Judgment Day has her back. She says they are better than ever without Finn.

The Uso's and Roman talk in the back. Jimmy says he punched Punk in the face last week and will do it again. Jimmy says everything Punk has said to Roman hasn't landed. Roman says the world can call him a part-timer as long as his kids and wife say he's a full-time dad. Jey says Punk still owes them an apology. Roman says he doesn't need an apology from Punk but The Uso's do.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Title - AJ Lee (c) vs Bayley

They lock up. AJ bodyscissors takedowns her for 2. AJ rolls her up for 2. AJ sunset flips her for 2. Bay la magistral's her for 2. Bay is tripped and AJ top rope crossbodies her. AJ dropkicks her. 

AJ rolls her up 2 and bridging hammerlocks her. Bay breaks it up with a back elbow then cutters AJ over the 2nd rope for 2. We go to break and return.

AJ gets a 2 count on her then Bay drops AJ on her butt. AJ lariats and spinning high kicks Bay for 2. AJ standing shiranui's Bay for 2. Bay half-crabs her and running knees her. AJ rolls her up for 2. AJ back elbows her. Bay hits a belly to belly suplex for 2. 

Bay slaps AJ on her knees and AJ slaps her back. They bang each other's heads off the buckles. AJ running knees her. Bay side slams her. Bay misses a top rope elbow drop. AJ does an octopus on her and Bay taps out.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good, mostly due to AJ. She's just not hitting her offense clean or with much force. It did pick up a bit near the end when they slapped each other but that was about the only highlight. AJ won as expected.

JD McDonaugh and Adam Pearce argue about Dom Mysterio's status in the back. Adam says he's not clear. Penta comes in and says thank you to Pearce then leaves.

We return from break and Becky Lynch is beating up AJ Lee in the aisle. She sends AJ into the tron and rails. She then stomps her. Officials come out then Becky hits AJ with the title belt.  

Penta talks in the ring. He says he told the world he wants to be a fighting champ. He said he told Adam Pearce to pick anyone as he is always ready. Penta tells whoever comes to the ring tonight to be ready.

WWE Intercontinental Title - Penta (c) vs Dragon Lee

We join this in progress. Lee backs him up in the corner. They roll on the mat some and both headflip up. They stare down and both do Penta's strut. Lee side headlocks him. Lee backrolls and is kicked in the gut. Lee boots him out of the corner then flying headscissors him.

Lee hits combinacion cabron in the corner. Lee handstands in the corner and is superkicked. Penta enzugiri's him. Penta handstand pendulum dropkicks him in the corner. Lee is lariated over the top. Lee flying kicks him then tope con hilos him. Penta tope con hilos him. Penta top rope crossbodies him for 2. We go to break and return.

They trade forearms. Lee hits punches and Penta facekicks him. Lee pumping knees him and runs into a superkick. Lee hits a styles clash for 2. Penta hits a made in Japan for 2.  

Penta enzugiri's Lee on the apron. Lee superkicks Penta off the apron. Lee then tope con hilos Penta while he sits on the commentary table. Lee hits destino for 2. Penta canadian destroyers him and wins.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with them flying, doing superkicks and kept things moving. It wasn't their best possible effort but it was acceptable. Lee hit a great tope con hilo through the ropes while Penta was on the commentary table.

Paul Heyman talks to Logan Paul and Austin Theory in the back. Theory says Seth is a dead man. Paul says that's the worst thing they can do and Seth wants to divide and conquer. Paul says Seth cubrstomped him and nothing happened because they have no power. Paul says they get power by getting titles. Paul says they should go after the tag titles and they agree. Logan says they will go after LA Knight too.

Nattie vs Maxxine Dupri

They take each other down. Nat slams her down then catapults her throat into the 2nd rope. Max is put in tree of woe and Nat pulls on her throat. Nat grounded sleepers her. Max ankle locks her. Nat backrolls her for 1 then Max backrolls her. Nat grounded chokes her and Max tries a pin out of it. Max spinning high kicks her. Max hits lariats.

Max pumping knees her then corner splashes her. Max fisherman suplexes her and kips up. Max step up legdrops her on the neck for 2. Max misses a corner kick and is hit in the back of the leg. Nat spinning lariats her. Nat sharpshooters her and Max submits.

Thoughts: It didn't go too long here. Max hung in a bit but was the clear underdog in this. Max's execution could have been a little better but I think they had the base of this story right.

Randy Orton is interviewed. Orton talks on the phone with someone and says he will see them soon. Orton tells Cole there will be no interview. Orton said he talked to someone who had a brain. He said  they helped him understand who and what he is - a killer. Orton says wrestling has more than one royal family, mocking Cody's line.

Je'Von Evans is all excited and goes up top Dragon Lee. Kofi Kingston interrupts. Kofi says he knows Evans wants to be the next champ and says it's all about who you associate with. He says some will lift you up and others will drag-on you down. Evans says no to Kofi's help. Grayson Waller comes in and says he doesn't know what they see in him. Kofi says people say the same thing about Waller.

Danhausen comes in and dances and asks if they are looking for someone to replace Woods. Kofi says they don't want him to join and want him to leave. Dan goes to curse him and Kofi pulls Waller in front of him. Dan dances and sings, "you are cursed". Then he disappears.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Raquel Rodriguez

They lock up and RR backs her up on the ropes. RR hits corner spears on SV. RR shoulders over SV. RR lariats her down. RR does a tazzmission then throws her down backwards. SV legdrops RR for 2. RR blocks a flying headscissors and SV dropkicks RR out. SV knee drops her on the apron. RR throws SV head first into the post.

We go to break and return. SV gets on RR's back with a sleeper. RR hits elbows on her in the corner. Liv Morgan taunts SV. RR's throat is pulled over the top rope. SV top rope crossbodies RR. SV headbutts RR then dragon screws her. SV corner meteora's her. RR drops SV face first and misses an elbow drop off the buckles. SV does the devil's kiss to RR.

RR facekicks SV. Iyo Sky comes out. She chases Liv Morgan. RR pounces Iyo over the commentary table. SV jumps off the apron onto RR. Liv is thrown over the rail. SV is caught off the top and RR spinning slams her. SV then pins RR.

Thoughts: It wasn't anything too special. SV got the win as expected. Iyo got wiped out pretty good over the commentary table here

Lyra Valkyria talks to Bayley in the back. Bay is upset about her loss. Lyra says she wants to see her get to Mania and says she will help her get there. Lyra says they will get to Mania together. The Kabuki Warriors walk in. Asuka says they messed up her chance at the becoming the IC champ. She says she could have beaten AJ if she won last week. She says she will never forget them costing her the title. Asuka says they are not ready for her. Sane tells Bay to stay away from them. Lyra asks what was said and Bay says they are going after the tag titles. Lyra says they should talk to Pearce.

LA Knight talks to The Uso's in the back. LA says The Vision had their names in their mouths. LA says The Uso's are getting cozy with Roman. Jimmy says it's family business and Jey tells him to mind his business. LA says he can respect it. He says he can't respect The Bloodline and says they can't be on the same page if they talk The Bloodline. Jey then won't fist bump LA.

Roman Reigns comes out. He puts himself over. He says he's in the beginning, the middle and he closes the show. He says Punk must have forgotten he's on his show. Roman invites Phil to come out.

CM Punk comes out. Roman says, "welcome to my ring, welcome to my main event". Punk says his friends and family can call him Phil and he says he could call him Tittitiaki or Joe, a Samoan he loves much. Roman says maybe he should call Joe and remind him who his tribal chief is. Punk asks if Roman will send The Samoan's after him. Roman says they will do what they gotta do. 

Punk says he knows he's in Roman's head. Roman says he's on everyone's mind all the time and says Punk will just say anything. Roman says Phil hasn't main evented anything this year and couldn't main event a live event tour in Europe. Punk says he didn't want The Uso's get to caught in the situation. Punk says he deserved what he got last week. He says it was the right message and the wrong messenger. Punk asks who the real tribal chief is. 

Roman mocks Punk's line. Roman says he repeats the same things. Roman tells Punk to ask his wife about being a part-timer and tells him not to waste his time until he can come up with something that phases him. Roman goes to leave and Punk follows him. Punk says it's his ring and show and says he can tell Roman when it's time to go.

Punk says he will pin Roman and it will be the last time he main events Mania. He says he will send him back down to earth and he will beat him at Mania. Roman tells him he's delusional. Roman says he's the most successful star he ran into and is his tribal chief. Roman says Punk isn't faster or stronger than him or better looking. He says Punk is a try hard and says he's old.

Punk then drops Roman with a shot. Adam Pearce and others then come down to stop Punk.

Thoughts: Roman is really getting the edge over Punk here on the mic. Maybe it's just a work but Punk really has nothing that bad to say to him in return. Part of the problem is that Roman kind of is the bigger star in wrestling and it's really hard for Punk to argue otherwise.

We get a Davey Coates graphic to close the show. He helped out with international production and passed away in the last week. 
 
Overall thoughts: It was a pretty average Raw. The opening segment was the best thing on here and nothing else came close. The Grande vs Grande and Lee vs Penta matches were fine but nothing great. The women didn't impress. Roman continues to mop the floor with Punk on the mic as well and the more these two talk, the worse Punk looks. I'd give it a lower 6 out of 10. It was okay enough but not much more.
