We are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness are on commentary.

AEW Women's Tag Titles - Megan Bayne and Lena Kross (c) vs Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale

All 4 fight. Willow and Meg shoulder battle. Meg shoulders her over.  Willow backdrops her then hits corner lariats. Willow slams her and HC running leg lariats Meg. LK is double lariated over the top. HC top rope crossbodies Meg for 2. 

Willow chops Meg. LK trips Willow. Willow is then dropped face fist on the apron. Meg tries to tope Willow but gets caught in the ropes and goes down. Willow is sent into the rails. Meg hits corner spears and a double underhook suplex on Willow. LK sliding lariats Willow for 2.

We go to PiP break and return. LK corner pump kicks Willow then Meg corner facekicks Willow. Meg germans Willow for 2. Willow tags out. HC comes in and hits forearms on LK. HC lariats LK then neckbreakers her. HC armdrags LK then half crabs her. The faces have their backs rammed together and take fallaway slams. Meg and LK hit stereo corner splashes. The faces each take lariats for 2. 

HC double ddt's her opponents off a double suplex attempt. Willow and Meg trade shots. Willow germans Meg and LK. Willow lariat Meg then 2nd rope double dropkicks the heels. HC gets on Willow's back and they senton Meg for 2.  

Willow pounces LK. HC powerbombs Meg for 2. HC half crabs Meg. Willow then half crabs LK. HC hits high kicks and chops on the heels. HC takes a claymore kick + german combo. HC takes a double chokeslam and is pinned.

Thoughts: They got a lot of time for this and it went well. Both teams did what they were supposed to do here and they didn't have too many botches here. The heels won as expected but where that leaves Harley and Willow is unknown.

Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor are interviewed. Jamie complains about getting hit with brass knucks. Mina Shirakawa comes in. She says she is not done with Thekla and will take out anyone in her way to get to her. Jamie then challenges anyone to a trios match. Jamie and Alex then say "we don't give a flying f*ck" to whoever challenges them.

Myron Reed vs Johnny TV

JTV forearms Reed. Reed back elbows him. JTV springboard enzugiri's Reed. MxM Collection stomp Reed outside. JTV spin kicks Reed in the ring and chinlocks him. JTV hits a moonlight drive on Reed for 2. JTV is on the 2nd rope and Reed springboard legdrops him for 2. 

Reed superkicks JTV. Reed does his bridging F-5 move. JTV rolling alabama slams Reed then running knees him for 2. JTV misses starship pain. Reed kips down out of a shot, kips up and cutters JTV. Reed springboard 450's JTV for the win.

Thoughts: It was all flying and cool moves here. They didn't overdo it though so it was fine. The two worked well together.

The Death Riders do a promo. Garcia says he used to think he was friends with Private Party. He says they took a year off while he continued to fight. Mox says Private Party walk and talk the same but have they learned to play hard? Mox asks what they will buy with the $200k. Mox says victory comes at a steep price that they won't be willing to pay. Mox says they are swimming with the real sharks  tonight.

Private Party are interviewed. They say tonight isn't about partying. Zay says it's about Mox tonight. Zay says they aren't the same two animals anymore and say Garcia is in their way. They say they will turn the chaos into an opportunity tonight.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia) vs Private Party (Isaiah Kassidy and Marq Quen)

They show us clips from like a year or two ago of The Death Riders taking out Private Party.

DG rolls up Zay then guillotines him. They roll on the mat and regroup. DG side headlocks and wristlocks Zay. Zay wristlocks him. DG waistlock takedowns him and slaps him in the back of the neck. They pieface each other. DG shoulders him over. Zay casadora armdrags him then does a normal armdrag. DG chops him.

Zay takes him down and hits mounted shots. DG double throat htursts Zay. Mox and Zay chop each other. Mox forearms him down. Mox takes an atomic drop + enzugiri. Mox lariats Zay. DG boots Quen in the corner and Quen is thrown out.

We go to PiP break and return. Quen is double booted in the corner. Quen boots Mox out of the corner and corkscrew kicks him. Zay comes in and hits lariats on DG. Zay superkicks Mox from the apron then top rope moonsaults him outside. Zay top rope swantons DG for 2.

Zay shoves DG's head. Zay canadian destroyers him. PP do the silly string and Zay spinning ddt's Mox off of it. DG takes an F-5 + cutter combo. Zay top rope 450's DG for 2. 

CC euros Quen on the outside. Zay corkscrew kicks DG then Mox cutters Zay. DG piledrivers Zay for 2. DG pounds on Zay then dragon tamer's him. Zay taps out.

Thoughts: I don't get the idea behind bringing Private Party back just to lose. It makes no sense, especially when it's to a non-team like Mox and DG. The match was alright and got a lot of time to play out, but this win doesn't help The Riders or Private Party.

The Demand do a promo from last night at Global Wars. Ricochet tells Kenny it sounds like the past matters when he said it didn't. Toa says they are a bunch of killers. Ric says he beat Jack Perry multiple times. He says Jack wouldn't have his National Title if it wasn't due to Kenny. Ric says the joke will be on Kenny's team at Dynamite.

Mina Shirakawa and The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) vs Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont and Haven Harris

Belmont is in the pink and HH is in the green and black. Nix has been on ROH before.

Alex larits Nix and Nix is triple teamed in the corner. Jamie and Mina hit stereo facekicks. The jobbers take corner attacks. Nix takes a double team shot. HH and Belmont are lariated into each other. Mina top rope dropkicks Belmont. Nix then takes a hart attack. Mina figure fours Nix and submits her.

Thoughts: It was a short and random squash. Mina's team won as expected. Belmont took a hard bump on a top rope dropkick.

Jamie gets on the mic and tells Mina she did a good job after. Jamie says they had nothing to do with what happened to Toni. Alex says what happened to her was a p!sstake. Alex complains about Thekla using brass knucks.

Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue appear in the stands. Thek says she's the champ and the faces are nothing. She says they can't handle them. Thek says they will end up like Toni if they try them again. Mina challenges them for next week. Mina says they will beat the p!ss out of them.  

Mark Davis, Okada and Kyle Fletcher are interviewed. Kyle says he's not a fan of the business relationship with MJF as they need to bring the title back to The Family. Kyle says Mistico and Jetspeed stole the trios titles from them at the PPV. Kyle says tonight is about revenge. Okada says Knight will find out why he's the greatest champ in history. Okada says he heard what Kyle said about Takeshita. He says Protokada are the leaders of The Family and he believes in him. 

Tomasso Ciampa vs Ace Austin

TC wristlocks Ace. Ace headflips out and is pulled down backwards. Ace trips and kicks TC then la magistral's him for 2. TC is sent out twice. Ace tries it again and is stomped. Ace handstands on the apron and knees TC in the face. Ace jumps over the post and plancha's TC. 

Ace hits corner lariats on TC. TC bridging ddt's Ace over the 2nd rope. TC chops Ace outside. Ace headscissors him on the floor. Ace high kicks TC. TC bridging neckbreakers Ace on his knee. We go to PiP break and return.

Ace chops TC. Ace cartwheels and crossbodies TC. Ace knees TC in the face and russian legsweeps him. Ace then legdrops him. TC misses a corner charge and Ace springboard helicopter kicks him. Ace doctor bombs him for 2. 

Ace superkicks TC in the gut. TC dropkicks him in the knees then powerbomb backbreakers him for 2. TC pumping knees Ace off the apron. Ace drives TC's face into the mat. Ace fosbury flops him outside. TC dropkicks him then 2nd rope air raid crashes him for 2. 

They trade shots. Ace short arm lariats him. Ace spin kicks him in the face. Ace death valley drivers TC in the corner. Ace then takes a belly to belly suplex into the buckles. TC pumping knees Ace and pins him.

Thoughts: They did a bit too much here as the 2nd rope air raid crash should have ended it. It was an entertaining bout otherwise with the two clicking well together. Ace did his athletic stuff and TC stiffed him.

Juice Robinson checks on Ace after. TC teases attacking Juice but doesn't.  

The Rascalz are interviewed. Zach says they are feeling good and riding high. Zach says they said they would take over and they are doing that. Dez says they are making a splash and will make a bigger one. Zach says if they win tonight, they are closer to title contention.

Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron talk. HC says she let her down. Willow says they did everything they could. HC asks if they should stop talking now. Willow says they will focus on other things. HC says she needs to focus on her title. HC says she will focus on where the wind takes her.

Thoughts: This is why I never got too invested in their team - it was clear it was going to be a temporary thing. And it has to be when the division is so small and has so little time to work with.

The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) vs The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier)

KF wristlocks Zach. Zach tries to flip out of it. Zach 2nd rope diving headscissors KF. Zach double boots KF out of the corner and 2nd rope tornillo's him. KF is swept into a legdrop and a rolling senton for 2. KF slam Trey. Mark takes a shotgun dropkick into the buckles. Zach bronco busters Mark. 

Mark enzugiri's Dez then backdrops Zach. Dez is thrown into a kick to the face from KF. Zach top rope double dropkicks the heels. Zach and Dez have their backs rammed together and they take stereo overhead throws.

We go to PiP break and return. Zach 2nd rope blockbusters KF. Dez enzugiri's KF then twisting swantons him. Dez superkicks Mark in the face. Dez cutters KF for 2. KF takes a codebreaker into a neckbreaker for 2. Mark backdrops Zach. KF superkicks Dez. Zach makes KF kick Mark in the face. Mark lariats Zach. Dez then handspring pele kicks Mark.

Dez pumping knees Mark. Mark gamengiri's Dez. Mark gutwrench piledrivers Dez and pins him.

Thoughts: It got too much time and lost some of it's steam near the end. There was a ton of flying here from the faces. Kyle seems like it might have gotten hurt near the end of this as he kind of stopped participating here. I thought this was a bit too much of a good thing. 

We see Don Callis and Ricochet talking from last night. Ric puts over Rich Swann and says they redefined the cruiserweight style. Don says he will do the same thing to Kenny Omega's crew. Don say he will give him some MJF money if he can take care of Kenny.

Kevin Knight is interviewed. KK says with hard work and swag, he can turn a dream into reality. He says he will turn Okada's dream of revenge into a nightmare. He says he will become a double champ tonight.

The Death Riders talk. Mox says Private Party is banged up and we won't see them anytime soon. Mox says he has no sympathy for them and why should he. He says he feels that way abut Will Ospreay. He says he will never stand between a person and the consequences of their actions. He says Will got what he asked for. He says Will will face Pac and Pac has less patience than he does for this cold, cold game.

AEW International Title - Kazuchika Okada (c) vs Kevin Knight

They lock up. KO wristlocks him. KK headflips out. KK knee drops KO's arm. KO backs him up on the ropes. Both avoid dropkicks. KO goes out to stall. KO forearms him and elbows him in the head inside. KK armdrags him three times and kips up. KO ddt's him on the floor. KO boots him around inside.

KK shoves him and chops him. KO hits euros. KK hits lariats then jumping lariats him. KO splashes him for 2. KK slingshot plancha's him over the buckles. We go to PiP break and return. 

KO slams him then top rope elbow drops him. KK dropkicks him. KK boots him in the corner and hits lariats. KK jumping ddt's him for 2. KO dropkicks him. KO hits short arm lariats. Okada is pulled over the top and KK springboad lariats him outside. KK then springboard diving lariats him inside for 2. 

KK flying corner lariats him. KO is up top and KK jumping hurricanrana's him from the mat. KK coast to coast springboard dropkicks him for 2. KK top rope 180 splashes KO but KO gets his knees up. KK rolls him up for 2. KO then pins him by holding the ropes.

Thought: It got a lot of time. It was a good match and it did help put over Kevin some even in the loss. They did what they set out to do here and I thought this was a success.

Overall thoughts: It was a very wrestling heavy show here. Everything got enough time and there wasn't a lot going on outside of the ring. We had a lot of random stuff as usual and you could skip this without missing out on too much. I thought the main was the best match of the night. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 and mostly it's just because of the wrestling.
