WOW Women of Wrestling 2/28/2026 Season 6, Episode 21
Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/02/wow-women-of-wrestling-2212026-season-6.html
We are still somehow in Las Vegas on Freemont Street.
The Fab Four come out. Lana says it feels good being the manager of champions. She says they have had 9 titles combined and it sucks not to be in The Fab Four.
The Alliance interrupt Penelope Pink. Reina says Pink's gold would look better in her lowrider. She says she wants a title shot.
Santana Garrett comes out and interrupts. She says nobody deserves a shot more than her. Pink asks why Santana is so obsessed with her and tells her to get a life. Dave McLane says his voice is sore and says they all want Pink. Dave says they should do Santana vs Reina with the winner getting a title shot.
The Dojo Defenders, Ashley Blaze and Sandy Shore are interviewed. Blaze says it's 4 of them vs The Alliance and they feel good. Kai says they don't need Blaze to speak up for them. Kai says they got this and aren't worried. Shore agrees. Tara says they got this and they are good.
The Dojo Defenders (Tara Strike and Kara Kai), Ashley Blaze and Sandy Shore vs The Alliance (BK Rhythm, Gigi Gianni, Arianna Gambino and Sylvia Sanchez)
Syl gets the edge on Kai. Kai hits kicks on her. Syl takes a double kick from The Defenders. Tara hits a strike combo on Gigi then double stomps her. Blaze trips Gigi then Tara basement dropkicks Gigi.
Blaze sentons Gigi for 2. BK misses a corner splash and Blaze springboard diving armdrags her. Blaze spinning high kicks her. Blaze backsplashes BK in the corner. Shore headscissors BK down. Shore snapmares Gigi then pulls her neck forward for 2. Gigi takes a double hip attack to the head and Kai running knees Gigi.
Gigi pounds on Kai then legdrops her on the apron. Ari boots and foot chokes Kai in the corner. Ari hits boots to the face and bangs Kai's face off the mat. Ari stomps Kai. Kai is double teamed and thrown down. Gigi low dropkicks Kai against the ropes for 2.
Gigi corner lariats Kai. Syl basement dropkicks Kai for 2 then chinlocks her. Kai takes attacks from the heels in the corner. Kai is tripped into BK's knee. Gigi walks on Kai and elbow drops her for 2.
Syl chinlocks Kai. Kai fights out of the corner and handstand kicks BK. Shore gets in and slingblades the heels. She flipping neckbreakers Syl for 2. BK hits a money maker on Shore. Blaze step up double knee drops BK. Gigi cutters Blaze. Tara high kicks Gigi.
Ari low sliding flatliners Tara. Ari poses and Kai hits a bad soul foot on her. Syl takes a double kick then ddt's Shore. Syl then puts Ari on Shore to let her get the pin. The Alliance win.
Thoughts: It got a lot of time. It was fine with both teams getting some offense in and Kai being worked on before tagging out. Reina del Rey was on commentary for some of this but got mad and left. They really put over Syl's new nickname of "The Exterminator".
Catalina Speed vs Scout Parker
Cat has Veronica Varoom with her and has a theme right out of the 1950's.
Cat snapmares SP. SP trips her and messes up her hair. SP flying shoulders her and does a step up enzugiri. Cat side slams her for 2. Cat boots SP in the corner. Cat corner spears SP. Cat snapmares her and low sliding lariats her for 2. Cat surfboards SP. SP rolls out and turns it into a pin attempt. SP rolls her up for 2.
They double clothesline each other down. SP hits lariats on Cat then flying headscissors her. SP step up knees Cat in the corner. She spin kicks her on the 2nd rope and asai moonsaults her for the win.
Thoughts: It was a quicker bout and ended as it seemed like it was getting into the middle part of the match. What we got was fine and it worked better than I expected.
We get a video on Reina del Rey/The Alliance.
We get a video Santana Garrett. We see her at her home in Florida. She talks about her dad being in wrestling and says she did work at various shows. She says she wanted to be a wrestler like her dad and talks about having 2 jobs. She said she wrestled on the indies for a year or two then joined WOW. She talked about becoming a tag champ in WOW with Amber O'Neal. She says her dreams came true in WOW. She talks about her dad and how he got cancer and eventually passed away. She says her dad would want her to keep wrestling for herself and she says her next step is becoming WOW champ again.
Next week has Gabriella Cruz vs Penelope Pink for the WOW World Title.
Winner gets a WOW World Title shot - Santana Garrett vs Reina del Rey
Dave McLane grabs a security guard and has them escort The Alliance out.
They lock up. Rey puts her in the corner and clean breaks. SG hits chest forearms. SG trips her for a 1 count. The Alliance is locked in a room by a guard in the back. SG goes for a sunset flip. Rey is pulled over the top. SG is knee'd over the 2nd rope and Rey neckbreakers her over the 2nd rope.
Rey lariats SG while she seats on the apron. Rey chokes SG on the 2nd rope. Rey bangs SG's head off the buckles and clubs her back. Rey hits corner spears and clubs her. Rey camel clutches her. Rey fish hooks her. Rey snapmares her into a full nelson. Rey hits a big lariat for 2.
SG bots her out of the corner. SG cartwheel back elbows Rey in the corner. The Enlightened come down. SG headflips into a forearm on Rey. Samantha Smart gets on the apron and Rey is given a book. Rey hits SG with the book and pins her.
Thoughts: This finish was bogus. Dave was able to have The Alliance escorted out but was somehow powerless to do anything about The Enlightened coming out. That didn't make any sense. We didn't get a ton of this one before the finish.
The Enlightened put SG on a stretcher and carry her to the back.
Sibley Scoles talks in the back. The Enlightened walk past her and chant, "Enlighten Her".
Overall thoughts: It was a different show than usual with more wrestling and more non-wrestling segment. I'm not complaining about that though. We only had 3 matches here. The 8-woman tag was fine. What we got of Speed/Parker was better than I expected and the main had a bogus finish. We also kind of got a bigger angle to close the show. I'd give it a 5 out of 10. The format on an average WOW show is getting better with more talking segments, more interviews, more promos and more videos. and they are producing better shows overall, just sometimes the booking and matches doesn't reflect it.
