CMLL 3/6/2026 La Noche de La Amazonas

Persephone and a female host talk in the ring. They have 3 of the women's titles on podiums there.

Mexican National Women's Tag Team Title Match - Kira & Skadi (c) vs. Candela & Metalica

Skadi and Metal go at it. Skadi wristlocks her and Metal reverses it. Kira and Cand do stereo springboard headscissors on those two. Kira and Cand trade chops. Kira does a tope and Cand does a tornillo outside. Kira superkicks Cand and Cand hits a flying lariat for 2. Metal and Skadi lariat each other down for 2 counts. Cand jumps off Skadi's back and head chops Kira. Cand rolls over Metal's back and splashes Skadi for 2.

Cand is tripped into the buckles for a 619 and Skadi hits a big spear on Metal. Metal 619's Skadi for 2. Kira takes an ocean cyclone suplex for 2. Metal dropkicks Cand on accident. Kira monkey flips Metal. Kira stands on Skadi and splashes Cand for 2. 

Skadi comes off the 2nd rope and Metal catches her with a powerbomb. Cand and Kira get on the buckles. Kira spanish flies her down onto their opponents outside. Skadi crossbodies Kira on accident. Cand 2nd rope legdrops Kira then Metal 2nd rope splashes Skadi for 2. Kira top rope 450's Metal and Skadi fireman's carry gutbusters Cand to win.

Thoughts: They tried and put out a better effort than usual. Kira did some more advanced spots than what she usually does. Because of her size, Skadi's various moves are always extra impressive. She hit a nice spear here. It had a lot of sloppy moments but I still did like it.

Dark Silueta vs. Maika

Mai wristlocks her and Dark trips her. Dark ties up her legs and pulls her hair. Dark side headlocks her then Mai reverses it. Dark armdrags her and stomps her in the corner. They trade armdrags and Dark sliding kicks her. Mai dropkicks her then Dark spinning heel kicks her. 

Dark hair throws her then pulls her hair. Dark camel clutches her. Dark boots her in the head and boots her down. Dark stomps her. Mai powerslams her for 2. Mai sliding lariats her for 2. Dark knees her in the face and superkicks her. Mai is on the 2nd rope and Dark backcrackers her. Dark pulls Mai's neck backwards and pulls the leg in a submission.

Dark indian deathlocks her. Mai trips her and side headlocks her to escape. Mai running lariats her then suplexes her twice for 2. Mai headbutts her from the apron. They fight on the buckles and Dark suplexes her for 2. 

Dark hits some forearms and a german for 2. Mai spinning lariats her. Dark no sells it then Mai michinoku drivers her for the win.

Thoughts: They had a standard match here. They did the basics and eventually progressed into their finishers. The format was fine. The match wasn't anything too special but they didn't botch anything and it was an acceptable bout.

Relevos Increibles - La Catalina & Sanely vs. Garra Negra & Keyra

1st Fall - Key and Sane go at it. They lock up and Key side headlocks her. Sane takes her down and pulls on her hair. Key trips her then pulls on her hair. Key armdrags her and taunts her Sane boots her in the gut then armdrags her. Sane then taunts her. 

Key pounds on her and pulls her hair. Sane corner splashes her then basement dropkicks her. Sane short arm lariats Garra and pulls her hair. Sane shoulders her over. Garra flips out of a hiptoss and basement dropkicks her. 

Cat comes in and flaunts. Cat sends Garra to the apron and hip attacks her down. Key hits forearms on Cat then armdrags her. Key rolls her into a double stomp. Sane is on the buckles and puts Key in a tarantula variation on the ropes. Sane is double teamed in the corner. Key basement dropkicks her in the corner. Garra angle's wings Cat and Key rolls Sane into a pin. Garra and Keyra pick up stereo pins. Keyra's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Key boots Cat from behind. Garra kicks Cat in the leg. Key backcrackers Sane then Garra pumping knees Sane. Cat hits chops on both opponents then takes a double boot. Cat takes a double suplex then a double basement dropkick. Key boots her partner on accident. Sane cradle shocks Key and Cat top rope splashes Key. Cat pins Key. Sanely's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Cand and Sane hit corner attacks. cat corner hip attacks Garra and sits on her chest. Sane 2nd rope double knee drops Garra's back. Key is put on the 2nd rope and Sane 2nd rop meteora's her. 

Sane is tripped into the ropes and takes a pumping knee from Garra. Cat back rack drops Garra. Key hits soul foot on Cat then basement dropkicks her for 2. Cat facekicks Sane on accident. Garra top rope dropkicks Key on accident. Cat and Sane hit stereo electric chair drivers on their opponents and get double pins. Sanely's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: This went well. We don't get to see a lot of Garra or Keyra outside of Guadalajara and they did well here. I'd be interested in seeing them around more as they did a good job. I was fine with this one.

Copa Irma Gonzales Three Way Match - Marcela vs. Princesa Sugehit vs. La Magnifica

They had Irma Gonzales on the stage for this.

Marc gets double teamed. Suge and Mag trade chops then stomp on Marc. Suge hits a double flying lariat. The girls go for pins. Sage cranks back on Marc's arm. All 3 girls chop each other. Suge kicks Marc while she's down then Mag dropkicks Suge in the knee and face. Marc basement dropkicks Mag.

Suge is gordbustered onto Mag. Suge and Mar trade chops. Suge hits corner attacks on both opponents then takes a double lariat. Mag ties up Marc's legs then Suge bangs Mag backwards while does it.

Mag dropkicks Suge in the butt. Marc double knee drops Mag. Marc takes corner lariats. Suge throws Marc off the 2nd rope onto Mag for 2. Mag corner cannonballs both opponents. Marc double knee drops Mag. Suge then apron plancha's Mag outside. Marc back body drops Mag onto the floor. Mag sunset flips Marc for 2.

Suge headscissors Mag then Marc headscissors Suge. They all roll to the ropes for the break. Mag top rope crossbodies Marc for 2. Marc stomps on Mag. Mag 2nd rope superplexes her for 2. Mag does some kind of backcracker across Suge's back and pins her.

Thoughts: It didn't look that good on paper and wasn't much better in reality. It wasn't awful but three ways are a mess usually and these girls are not CMLL's best workers. There were a lot of sloppy moments here and some weak looking moves.

Zeuxis vs Mina Shirakawa

Z = Zeuxis 

They shake hands and Z pulls her in. Mina side headlocks her then springboard headlock takeovers her. Z surfboards her and Mina escapes. Z shoulders her over then gets a 2 count on her. Mina bridges her for 2. Mina spin kicks her in the gut. Mina walks up the buckles and diving armdrags her. Mina then bangs Z's leg off the mat. 

Mina slides out of a lariat, shimmies and is kicked from behind. Z kicks Mina in the leg then in the head for 2. Z slaps Mina in the corner and hair throws her for 2. Mina is sent into the rails outside. Z camel clutches Mina and pulls on her mouth. Z surfboards Mina and chinlocks her off of it.

Z chest kicks Mina on the ropes. Z pulls her arms back and puts her legs behind Mina's head. Mina la mistica facebusters Z then dropkicks her out. Mina top rope plancha's Z outside. 

Mina tornillo's Z off the ropes for 2. Mina drives Z's legs into the mat. She ties up Z's legs and Z rope breaks. Mina basement dropkicks Z. Z is hanging over the 2nd rope. She powerslams Mina on the apron. Z meteora's Mina on the ramp.

Mina drops Z's knee first on the ramp then figure fours her there. Mina stomps Z in the ring. They forearm each other then slap each other. Mina slaps her down and rolls over the ref's back into a splash on Z. Mina top rope diving slingblades Z for 2. 

Z electric chair backcrackers her. Z then angel's wings codebreakers her for 2. Mina hurricanrana's Z down for 2. Mina hits leg kicks on Z. Z cradles Mina for 2. They go up top. Z top rope spanish flies her for 2. Mina la mistia facebusters her for 2. Mina hits spinning forearms and buzzsaw kicks her from behind. Mina uraken's her and then figure fours her. Z submits and Mina wins.

Thoughts: Once you've seen one Mina match, you've kind of seen them all. Her matches always dwell into knee work and that's what happened here. It was a longer and slower bout. They were clean for the most part here and they did try, but it was only acceptable to okay.

Megan Bayne vs. Olympia

Meg piefaces her and is shoved. They shoulderblock battle and Meg knocks her over. Olym kips p, walks up the buckles, seated flips and armdrags her. Olym is stuck on a tiger feint then she dropkicks Meg. Olym handstand pendulum la silla's her in the corner then basement dropkicks her. 

Meg hurricanrana's her off the buckles and poses on her for 2. Meg hits short arm lariats for 2 counts. Meg hits corner spears. Meg bangs Olym's head off the buckles. Meg corner splashes her and double underhook suplexes her for 2. 

Meg snapmares her and sliding lariats her for 2. Olym chops her and Meg forearms her. Olym knocks Meg off the apron and headscissors her through the ropes outside. Meg's head is banged off the rails then she is sent into the rails.

Olym springboard splashes her for 2. Olym stomps on Meg. Meg running facekicks her in the corner. Meg hits knees to the gut then fallaway slams her. Meg claymore kicks her for 2. They trade chest forearms and Meg is pulled over the top. Olym throws her over the rail into the first row outside.

Meg germans her off the bottom rope. They trade forearms. They then squat each other and Olym samoan drops her. Olym hurricanrana's her for 2. Meg falcon arrows her for 2. Olym gorilla press slams Meg for 2. They trade chops. Meg F-5's her for 2. 

Olym lariats her then sitout powerbombs her for 2. They trade germans. Meg spears her. Meg running sitout powerbombs her and wins.

Thoughts: It was a power vs power match and something different than what we usually get. You just don't get see Meg get thrown around a lot like she did here. I don't think they quite went into the concept as much as they should have or got the story over enough, but they had some of the idea right. It was alright. 

CMLL World Women's Tag Team Title Match - Las Chicas Indomables (La Jarochita & Lluvia) (c) vs. Neo Genesis (Mei Seira & Starlight Kid)

L = Lluvia

Kid kicks away L's handshake then casadora armdrags her. L armdrags Kid and they sweep each other. Kid pulls on the hair. Jaron shoulders Mei over when they get in. Mei flying headscissors her then Jar rolls her up for 2. Mei corner running lariats Jar. Jar kicks the buckles into Mei's face. Mei rolls Jar into an ankle lock. Jar tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Mei. They sweep each other and stand off. Mei dropkicks Jaro on the ropes.

Mei slaps Jar while Kid holds her. L is abused on the ropes by the Japanese. Kid pulls L's leg around the 2nd rope then dropkicks it. Kid rolls her into a reverse figure four. Mei hair throws Jar. Mei hair throws Jar. Kid standing moonsaults L. L flying headscissors Mei then Jaro top rope dropkicks Kid. Jar topes the Japanese outside then L plancha's them outside.

Mei is meteora'd on the ropes and Mei is held for a codebreaker from L. Kid is held for a facebuster. Kid and Mei hit stereo springboard moves and send the Mexican's out. Kid and Mei then hit stereo top rope plancha's outside. L takes corner attacks then a double basement dropkick.

Kid fisherman suplexes L. L backcrackers Kid for 2. Kid 619's Jar and Mei rolls up Jar for 2. Mei dropkicks Jar then Jar baseball slides her for 2. Kid dropkicks L in the leg then stretcher mufflers her. Mei and Kid hit top rope moonsaults on their opponents for 2 counts. Jar 2nd rope TKO's Mei then L basement dropkicks Mei. L pins Mei.

Thoughts: It was definitely a step above the other matches on the card. This looked more like a Stardom match than a CMLL women's match. They were more athletic, they moved better and the moves hit cleaner. It was an okay bout here. I thought it could have used more time and more of a finishing stretch to be more special.

CMLL World Women's Title Match - Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Persephone

Mone has a big Aztec head dress on with a leopard head.

The match starts and Mone puts a leopard mask on. Pers thesz presses her and hits mounted shots. Pers chases her around the ring. Mone stomps her when they get inside. Mone puts the mask on Pers and abuses her on the 2nd rope. Pers throws the mask at Mone. Pers flips her over her back then hiptosses her. 

Pers hits knees to Mone's gut. She pulls on the hair. Mone headscissors her into a roll up. Mone rolls her up for 2. Mone back elbows her then diving armdrags her off the buckles. Mone trips her. Mone knees her in the face. Pers boots her out of the corner and is pulled into the 2nd rope. Mone 2nd rope diving knee drop Pers' arm.

Mone suplexes her for 2. Mone straightjacket chokes her. Mone backcrackers her for 2. Mone boots her while she's down then cranks back on her arm. Mone armlocks her. Mone knees her in the gut. Pers 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her.

Pers fallaway slams her. Moene backcrackers her then armbars her. Pers bridges out of a lariat then superkicks Mone. Pers kicks her. Mone yanks Pers' arm over the top rope. Pers dropkicks her off the top. Mone backcrackers her into a crossface. Pers sitout powerbombs her.

They trade forearms. Mone codebreakers her then sunset bombs her into the buckles. Mone running meteora's her for 2. Pers backslides her into a bridge for 2. Pers hits a big spear. Megan Bayne is with Mone and Pers dropkicks Meg through the ropes. Mone then bangs Pers' head off the apron. A fan throws a drink at Mone and security quickly goes for the fan. Mone is electric chair dropped on the rails face first.

Pers tries to 2nd rope moonsault Mone but nails Olympia instead. Mone meteora's Pers off the apron. Pers powerslams Mone. Pers rams Money into the buckles. Mone pushes Pers off the buckles then diving meteora's her from the buckles for 2. 

Pers drops her on the first try then hits her with a razor's edge for 2. Pers springboard splashes Mone and pins her.

Thoughts: CMLL was eventually getting their title back and it made sense for Pers to win it here or at one of their other big events. Mone having the title kind of hurt some of the booking since she wasn't around a ton and the belt collector thing ended a long time ago. They kept things moving here and kept up a fast paced. It was never boring and they both put a good effort in. It was a decent main but nothing great.

Pers gets confetti after and the girls come out to the ring to clap for her.

Overall thoughts: The show went better than I expected. There was nothing great here but the girls all stepped up and we had a bunch of alright matches here. I would say the main, semi-main and 3rd match from the top all were in contention for the best bout of the night. A few names were missing from this one like Tabata, India Sioux, Amapola and Hera. The women have gotten better in CMLL and I'd expect the next generation or two of CMLL girls to be even better. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall. I thought they did a nice job and it was an okay show overall.
