AAA on Fox 3/14/2026 Rey de Reyes 2026

Note - This is basically Part 1 of the show and the rest of it should air next week. They could have stretched this out into 3 weeks but opted not to it seems.
We are in Puebla, Mexico. Corey Graves, JBL and Rey Mysterio are commentary.
We see various wrestlers arrive.
We then get an intro video talking about some of the matches for tonight.
Rey Fenix comes out. Rey says "arriba". He says it's a blessing to be back and says they will celebrate Rey de Reyes. Rey says tonight is special and ask everyone to welcome Penta. Penta comes out.
Rey goes to leave and Penta tells him not to leave. Penta greets Puebla. He talks about Rey Mysterio filling in for him when he got injured. Penta says when they come back to Puebla, they will come back as a team. Penta says they were made in Mexico and born here. He says it's time for the fans to see them together one more time.
Penta says it's an important night for Puebla as it's Rey de Reyes. Penta says AAA has been around 25 years. He brings up Canek, Octagon and Hijo del Vikingo. Penta says there will be a new Rey de Reyes winner crowned tonight. Penta says the IC Title he currently holds is for the Mexican fans. Penta says he will make this title different. He says he will defend it on Raw and in Mexico. Penta says he will be waiting on whoever takes a step forward. Penta says he will drop names if no one steps up.
AAA Reina de Reina's Title - Lady Flammer (c) vs Bayley
They lock up. Flam waistlock her and they wristlock each other. Bay rolls out and trips her into a side headlock. Flam armbars her. Bay side headlock takeovers her then rolls her into a crucifix. They trade pins. Flam clubs on her. Bay armdrags her. They get up and regroup.
Flam hits shots and facekicks her. Bay goes up and over. Bay hits a sliding lariat after a snapmare. Bay dropkicks her under the bottom buckle for 1. Flam trips her on the apron then running knees her off he apron. Flam then topes her.
Flam running euros her then hits mounted shots. Flam pulls Bay into the pot crotch first. Flam chinlocks her. Bay running neckbreakers her. Bay backdrops her. Flam takes a stunner over the 2nd rope. Bay running knees her for 2. Bay knees her in the face. Bay sunset bombs her into the buckles. Flam pulls the 2nd buckle off and Bay hits a belly to belly suplex for 2.
Flam rolls her into a double stomp. They trade forearms. Flam spin kicks her in the gut. Bay is put on the 2nd rope. Bay sits on the 2nd rope and Flam springboard legdrops her for 2. Bay 2nd rope elbow drops her on the back for 2.
Flam running forearms her then codebreakers her for 2. Bay forearms Flam down from the 2nd rope. Bay elbow drops her from the buckles. Lady Maravilla runs down. Bay hits her. Maravilla runs in. La Hiedra grabs Bay and Bay stunners her over the top rope. Bay's head is sent into the exposed buckle. Flam basement dropkicks her against the bottom rope and pins her.
Thoughts: The match was acceptable. Flam needed help to win here. She now sets the record for the longest reigning Reina de Reinas champs. I'm not really surprised at the result. Bayley's just visiting and there was no need for her to end a record setting title reign out of the blue.
We get a video on the history of Rey de Reyes. They are treating La Parka III as the other versions of La Parka who won Rey de Reyes.
Rey de Reyes 2026 Final Four Way Match - El Grande Americano Original vs. El Grande Americano II vs. Santos Escobar vs. La Parka
The four pair off and fight. Parka and Santos are sent out and The Grande's stare down. They shove each other. Santos hits both. Parka flying headscissors Santos. Grande 1 double throat thrusts Parka then hits chops and punches on him. Parka tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Grande 1. Parka top rope crossbodies Grande 1 then dropkicks him. Parka does up top and Santos knocks him down to the floor.
Grande 2 leg lariats Santos. Grande 2 hits punches on Santos. Grande 2 then walks up the buckles and Grande 1 crotches him up there. Parka springboard dropkicks Santos then flapjacks Grande 1. Parka tope walk moonsaults outside.
Parka pinning torture rack bombs Grande 1 for 2. Grande 1 stun guns Parka then hits mounted shots. Grande 1 armlocks Parka. Grande 1 hanging triangles Parka over the top rope. Grande 1 top rope diving lariats Parka for 2.
Santos slingshots and Grande 1 northern lights suplexes him for 2. Grande 1 chops down Santos. Grande 1 double throat thrusts him. Grande 1 hits mounted corner punches on Parka. Santos pumping knees Grande 2 in the face then chops Grande 1. Santos pump kicks Parka.
Santos hits double flying knees on his opponents in the corner. Santos superkicks Parka for 2. Santos face shoves Grande 2. Grande hits punches on Santos then step up enzugiri's him. Parka flips out of a backdrop from Grande 2. Grande 2 double lariats Parka and Santos.
The two Grande's stand off and trade shots. Grande 2 back body drops him. Grande goes for la cavernaria on Santos. Grande 1 then ankle locks Santos. Grande 2 does la cavernaria on Parka while Grande 1 ankle locks Santos.
Parka is put up top by Santos. Santos superplexes him for 2. Grande 1 germans Santos and Parka at the same time. Grande 1 top rope diving headbutts Santos for 2. Grande 2 pounds on Grande 1. Grande 1 pulls Grande 2 into the buckles face first. Grande 1 fisherman suplexes him. Grande 1 goes up top and Parka top rope spanish flies him. Santos kicks Grande 1 in the air and gets a 2 count.
Parka and Santos trade forearms. Grande 1 and 2 hit stereo moves on Parka and Santos. Both Grande's then load up their masks with a weapon at the same time. The Grande's then both go for flying headbutt and nail each other. Parka springboard splashes Grande 1 for a 2 count.
Parka and Santos double clothesline each other. The Grande's fight outside. Grande 2 is thrown over the rail. The Grande's fight to the back. Santos swings a chair at Parka. Parka fisherman busters him for 2. Parka misses a top rope moonsault and Santos gets a 2 count from it. Santos hits mounted shots on Parka. Santos hits doi fives on Parka on a chair.
Grande 2 comes back to ringside. Grande 1 is getting hit in the stands by Bravo and Rayo Americano. Grande 1 is then handcuffed to the skybox rail. Grande 2 spinning lariats Santos then air raid crashes him. Grande 2 misses a charge and goes into the 2nd buckle. Santos rolls him up with the tights for 2. El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. comes out. He grabs Santos' chair and chairs Santos' hand onto the steps. Parka rolls into a cutter on Santos. Grande 2 loaded mask flying headbutts Parka and Santos. He then pins Santos.
Thoughts: This was wild as expected with run-in's, people getting handcuffed and lots of Grande vs Grande fighting. It was a bunch of fun. We had all kinds of flying here. The double loaded mask spot was cool and Grande 2 handcuffing Grande 1 to the rails was a good call back to Grande 1 doing it to him. They furthered the Grande vs Grande feud here and also furthered Wagner Jr. vs Santos, so this accomplished a lot. It got a lot of time to play out and this was a big success.
Next week has Rey Fenix/Mr. Iguana/Lola Vice vs Money Machine and La Hiedra, Psycho Clown/Pagano vs The War Raiders for the AAA Tag Titles and we will see El Grande Americano II be given his Rey de Reyes sword.
AAA Mega Title - No Disqualification Match - Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. El Hijo del Vikingo
Vik can't challenge Dom for the title again if he loses. Dom has to leave AAA if he loses.
Dom shoves Vik. Vik then rolls to the outside and grabs a kendo stick. Vik swings at him then Dom rolls out and grabs a kendo stick. They trade forearms. Dom dropkicks him. Vik hits armdrags and dropkicks him. Vik basement dropkicks him. Vik seats him on the 2nd rope and basement dropkicks him likely in the crotch.
Vik spin kicks him, legsweeps him and dropkicks him in the back of the neck while he's down. Vik throws a chair at Dom's head. Vik baseball slides him off the apron and sends him into the steps. Dom is put in a chair and Vik tope con hilos him through the ropes.
Vik throws a trash can in and puts it on Dom's head. Vik hits the can with a kendo stick. Vik basement dropkicks the trash can for 1. Dom blocks forearms and hits his own. Vik misses a corner splash and has his throat pulled down over the top. Dom slingshot swantons him then hits him in the gut with the kendo stick.
Dom suplexes him. Vik chops him and Dom michinoku drivers him for 2. when Dorian Roldan breaks the pin up. Dom pushes Dorian. Omos then comes down. Vik rolls up Dom for 2. Dom lariats Vik. Omos takes the trash can from Dom and throws it hard at his gut. Dom is put on the 2nd rope and Vik hits him in the back with the trash can. Vik springboard dropkicks Dom while he's on the 2nd rope for 2.
Dorian gives Vik the AAA Mega Title. Vik misses a top rope splash and the belt goes into his gut. Dom dropkicks Vik into the ropes. Omos grabs Dom on the 619 attempt and chokeslams him on the apron. Omos chokeslams Dom in the ring. Vik is sat up top. Mini Vikingo comes down and top rope hurricanrana's Vik off the top.
Omos grabs Mini and holds him up in the air. Dom low blows Omos. Dom chairs Omos then Mini chairs Omos too. Dom chairs Vik in the back then 619's him. Dom top rope frogsplashes Vik and pins him.
Thoughts: It was an entertaining bout with a bunch of run-in's here. We got a bunch of weapons shots and some high flying in this. Dom winning was the better of the two results here as it means he can return and it just means Vikingo takes a break from the title picture for a bit. But with Mini Vikingo costing him the match and with Vik attacking him, he's got a feud set up already.
Overall thoughts: These shows are always fun and this was no exception. Taker loves having run-in's, but the run-in's work as more people get involved and various feuds continue off of it. Bayley was the mystery opponent for Flammer and lost in an acceptable match. The Rey de Reyes match was a fiesta with The Grande's going at it, run-in's and more continuation of the Grande vs Grande and Wagner vs Santos feud. The main was fine and it was nice to see Mini Vikingo come back. This was the big show they had been building to and they did did a good job in living up to expectations. I'd give this an easy 6 out of 10. This show continues to be the best weekly show in 2026.
