We are in Houston, TX. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

It's Booker T Appreciation Night.

Booker is greeted by a bunch of ROW talent as he arrives including Will Allday and Fly Def.

We see Tatum and Izzi checking out the cage tonight.

WWE NXT Women's Title - Jacy Jayne (c) vs Zaria vs Sol Ruca

Sol and Zar stare down. Jacy superkicks Zar then she armdrags Sol into a pin attempt. Jacy trips Sol and Sol backslides her. Sol rolls up Zar for 2. Jacy pump kicks Zar then flying headscissors Sol into a Zar kick. Jacy codebreakers Zar for 2 and Sol springboard splashes them. 

Sol superkicks Jacy. Sol barely clears the top rope on a flying space tiger drop. Sol is sent into the steps. Zar takes a high/low from Lainey Reid and Jacy. Jacy PK's Zar from the apron. We go to PiP break and return.

Sol springboard crossbodies the other. Sol back elbows Jacy then rebound germans her. Zar and Sol forearm each other and Zar spinning lariats her. Sol dropkicks her. Jacy sentons Sol. Jacy neckbreakers Zar. Zar spears Jacy when Sol leapfrogs her. Sol spears Zar. 

Sol is crotched up top. Zar pulls both opponents off the top and gets 2 counts on them. Zar bangs Sol's head off the mat. Jacy corner cannonballs both opponents. Zar F-5's Jacy for 2. Zar headbutts Sol. Sol turns an F-5 into a facebuster. Sol lariats Zar over the top. Sol does a sol snatcher to Jacy for 2. Zar F-5's Sol on the floor. Zar is pulled out by Fatal Influence. Zar beats them up and Jacy pins Sol.

Thoughts: It was an okay triple threat here. Nothing too memorable though. Sol nearly died on a flying space tiger when she couldn't clear the top rope. Jacy winning is just what it is as Sol and Zaria are feuding and neither really needs the title right now.

The WrenQCC talk. Lexis King's crew walks in. Wren hits Dempsey and wants to know what his turn on Tavion was about. Dempsey says Wren found someone better to relate to and he has to do the same. Kendal tells Wren to focus on the group. Lola Vice comes in. She says Kendal is a bad@ss and says no one will stop her from winning the title.

Ricky Saints comes out to talk. He says he's the real main event and nothing will dampen his spirit. He says he and Ethan Page beat Borne and Hendry are having good relations. He says his team should be called, "The Slump Busters". Saints says they are focused on singles gold. Saints says Page will be a 2x North American champ while he will become a 2x NXT champ.

Ethan Page comes out. Page says he likes the name for their team. Page says he's the guy that pinned Joe Hendry last week. Saints tells Page to call out Borne. Page said he would if he wanted to become N-A champ. He says he still wants to become a 2x champ though. Saints says that's not the plan. 

Joe Hendry comes out. Joe says Page did some things Saints couldn't do. He says maybe Saints doesn't want the title as bad as Ethan Page does. Page and Saints argue then they both beat up Hendry. Hendry double lariats them then fallaway slams Saints and Page. Tony D'Angelo then spears Joe and spinebusters Saints and Page.

We see Fit Finlay and William Regal talk to The Birthright. Regal tells them to win the upcoming tag team tournament to compete at Stand and Deliver. Robert Stone comes in. Regal say he's doing a good job and says they need to talk to Shawn to make him the permanent GM. 

Los Americanos (El Grande Americano II, Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano) vs The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) 

Rayo flying headscissors Ricky. Bravo double axe handles Ricky's arm. Ricky pulls him down and grab the arm. Bravo armdrags him. Bravo hits punches on Ricky. Bravo hits mounted corner punches on Ricky. Drake then pulls Bravo onto the top rope to break that up.

The Project do a group dance in the ring. Bravo top rope crossbodies 2 of them. Drake is lariated over the top. Smokes is dropkicked out. Rayo la silla's Brad off the apron then Bravo dropkicks Ricky off the apron. Grande topes Drake. Los Americanos then dance in the ring. 

Smokes is tripped into a corner meteora from Rayo. Rayo and Smokes chop each other. Brad flatliners Rayo. Drake germans Rayo for 2. Rayo is holding his neck and we go to break.

We return and Drake has Rayo in an abdominal stretch. Drake suplexes Rayo twice. Rayo release suplexes Drake. Grande hot tags in and hits shots on the heels. He back body drops Brad then lariats Smokes. Grande hits a double blockbuster off the 2nd rope. Drake takes a spinning torture rack bomb from Bravo. 

Bravo puts on his cowboy hat and does a tope while Rayo asai moonsaults outside. Drake high kicks rande then jumps off his back into a tope con hilo outside. Drake spinning burning hammers Grande for 2. Grande takes a dropkick + spinebuster then a Drake 450 for 2.  Drake pump kicks Grande then Grande step up enzugiri's him. 

Drake tries to pin Grande with his feet on the ropes and is caught. Grande loads his mask and hradbutts Brad off the apron. Rayo superkicks Drake. Smokes is kicked in the corner then takes a top rope diving headbutt + russian legsweep. Grande flying headbutts Smokes with the loaded mask and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd was into this one and it was an entertaining tag. It was fast, maybe too fast at times and had a lot of flying. We saw some moves we don't normally see from these guys. I don't love The Project losing, but they are going to be doing a lot of losing here.

Elio LaFleur talks to Stone in the back. Sean Legacy and Eli Knight come in. Sean is on crutches and says he was injured last week. Eli is told he has to forfeit out of the tournament or find a partner. Elio offers to fill in for Eli. 

Sol Ruca comes up to Stone. She says she was screwed and needs to talk to Zar face to face next week. 

Vic Joseph is in the ring with Booker T's family (including Sharmell), ROW's Josiah Jean and someone else. Booker T is asked to come into the ring. Will Allday and some other ROW guys are in the front row.

We see a highlight video of Booker T's career. Jasper Troy, Joe Hendry, Steve Austin, Jacy Jayne, Trick Williams and others talk about Booker. They and others thank Booker T.

Booker T cries some and Vic gives him a plaque, commemorating tonight as Booker T Appreciation Night. Booker gets a "You deserve it" chant. Booker thanks everyone. Keanu Carver interrupts and pushes someone on the stage. The ROW guys come to stop Keanu and I think Zack Mason is sent into the steps. Josiah Jean takes a spinebuster from Keanu. Jasper Troy then comes down and goes after Carver.

Troy and Carver trade shots. Troy lariats him over the top. Officials then come to break it up. 

The roster then comes out to clap for Booker. Booker T says he wants to know what's going on here and says tells Stone that kind of stuff shouldn't happen in his city. Booker says someone needs to do something and we go to PiP break. 

Thoughts: This was a really weird segment. Them interrupting Booker's ceremony was odd but then Booker ranting on Stone was also unusual. Then they cut to break during it, to make it even more weird.

WWE NXT Women's Speed Title - Fallon Henley (c) vs Wren Sinclair

We have a 5 minute time limit for this. Wren rolls up Fallon and crucifixes her twice. Fallon hits forearms and a backhand. Wren shoulders over Fallon then tries a bridge pin. Fallon suplexes Wren. Fallon sweeps her for 2. Wrne suplexes Fallon for 2. 

Wren is sent to the apron and is booted down to the floor. Wren sweeps Fallon on the apron. Fallon swinging facebusters Wren. Wren arm throws Fallon down. Fallon chops Wren. Wren chops back. They backroll each other. Wren does a cattle mutilation and submits her.

Thoughts: It didn't get a lot of time and wasn't good at all. Their offense didn't look good at all and it didn't connect. This title doesn't really matter so much so it's not that important, but I think they could have done this title change better. Wren won her first WWE title here.

Ethan Page and Ricky Saints complain to Robert Stone in the back about them getting jumped. Page says Saints wants Tony D'Angelo next week. Saints is surprised by this and says he knows what Page is doing. Page says he can take care of that vigilante once and for all. Saints mockingly tells Page it was a hell of an idea.

#1 Contender's Tag Team Tournament First Round - Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) vs The Birthright (Uriah Connors and Stacks)

The heels attack before the bell and pound on Tank in the corner. Tank flying shoulders Stacks. Stacks takes corner splashes and a bulldog. Tank sentons Stacks. UC takes a double slam. Stacks top rope dropkicks Hank. Stacks hits shots on Hank in the corner. UC stomps and facewash kicks Hank.

Stacks corner cannonballs Hank for 2. UC gets on Hank's back with a sleeper. Hank back elbows Stacks. Tank comes in and hits shots on the heels. Tank cartwheels into a lariat on Stacks. Tank pump kicks UC on the apron. Tank then cannonballs King and Dempsey outside.

Tank emerald flowsion's Stacks. Stacks takes a superplex then a Tank swanton for 2. Tank superkicks Stacks then Tank black hole slams Stacks. King comes in and takes the bullet for Stacks. UC blind tags himself in. Stacks takes a double team then UC rolls up Hank to win.

Thoughts: It was another quick moving match here. I figured Birthright would win here since they are new and do need some wins to gain credibility. It didn't get a lot of time. They made the best of what they did get there though and it was alright.

Joe Hendry talks to Stone. He says he wants a match with Tony D. Stone says Tony already has a match for next week. We see OTM and Darkstate fighting outside in the parking lot. Price is launched off a loading platform and Nima gets his head kicked into the side of a truck. 

Tatum Paxley talks to Thea Hail in the back. Thea believes in her tonight and tells her she has got this. Tatum says NXT needs more people like Thea.

Kelani Jordan comes in and tells Thea to drop the act. She tells her to toughen up and be selfish like her. Jaida Parker tells her to leave Thea alone. Kelani says she has gotten soft. Thea says she will tap her out next week.

Fatal Attraction talk. Jacy is happy about her title match and Fallon isn't. Reid says they will get her the title back. Fallon says she has to go through a tournament to get a title match. Fallon says her and Reid will take care of Wren and Kendal next week.

Stone talks to Myles Borne in the back. Borne wants to know who his opponent is at Stand and Deliver. Stone say he set up a gauntlet eliminator for it. The Birthright comes in. King says they will claim the tag titles and might as well claim the North American Title too. King says he trusts in Stone to do the right thing.

Sexyy Red will be back at Stand and Deliver. Booker is hyped. 

NXT Women's North American Title - Cage Match - Tatum Paxley (c) vs Izzi Dame

TP gets nailed in the entrance of the cage. Izzi pushes her into the steps and stomps her there. Izzi suplexes her on the floor. Izzi slams the door in TP's face against the cage. Izzi brings a chair in. TP hits kicks on Izzi. TP rolls her up for 2.

TP step up enzugiri's Izzi. Izzi tries to climb out of the cage. TP grabs her and bangs her head off the cage. TP's head is banged off the cage. Izzi elbows TP off the top rope. They fight on the top rope more and Izzi's head is banged off the cage.

We go to PiP break and return. TP hits forearms on Izzi. Izzi is on the 2nd rope and TP germans her down. TP climbs the cage and both sit on top of the cage. They fight up there and trade forearms. Izzi superplexes her down for 2.

TP twisting swantons Izzi off the top for 2. They butt heads and boot each other at the same time. Izzi codebreakers her then claymore kicks her. Izzi sky high's her for 2. Izzi hits her with a chair in the gut and back. Izzi powerbombs TP into the cage. TP sunset bombs her on a chair. TP throws a chair at her and spinning heel kicks it into her. TP hits a tequila shot on her on a chair and wins.

Thoughts: It got enough time to play out. It was a bit of a different cage match than usual as there were no escape the cage rules, yet they still kept going up top anyway many times. It was definitely a bit unconventional. Izzi didn't seem totally comfortable in this. The lack of blood hurt things like it always does. Tatum won which should end the feud and we'll have to see where both girls go next. I just thought this was so-so. 

Tatum poses with the title on the stage. Blake Monroe appears out of a trap door, pulls her down the hole and takes the title down in the hole with her. 

Overall thoughts: As always with this show, there were a ton of things going on. That's not a bad thing but it can be a bit tough to follow along. I do think they could maybe refresh us more on some of the ongoings to make it easier. The women's triple threat was fine. I liked trios match. Booker T's segment was very odd with Keanu and Troy fighting during it, Booker going off on Robert Stone and then they cut to break to end it. Wren Sinclair beat Fallon Henley for the Speed Title in a surprise. The Birthright beat Hank and Tank in a fast paced match that didn't get a ton of time. The women's cage match was something different. It didn't have escape the cage rules but the girls kept going up top anyway and they just worked it in a different way than most cage matches are usually worked. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall. It was alright but it could have been better.
