WWC Superestrellas de la Lucha Libre 1/31/2026

Abel Durant and Axel Cruz are on commentary.

We see clips from Euphoria. Xix Xavant and Intelecto 5 Estrellas looked like a wild affair. Idolo retained his title with help from Alberto. John Hawking beat Chicano. Ray Gonzalez beat Carlito and the bout had a bunch of shenanigans. Eddie Colon got his hair cut as per the stipulation.

The commentators welcome us to the show. They talk about the 2/7 show. 

WWC Tag Team Title Match - Los Matadores Celestiales (Mike Nice & Oscar Benabe) (c) vs. Los Inmortales (Orly Jr. & Tapia)

Orly has the long hair and Tapia is bald.

We join this in progress. Oscar hits shots on Orly and is dropkicked. OB ddt's Orly. OB facebusters Orly then Mike hits a ddt on Tapia. Los Inmortales hit stereo cutters for 2. Orly spits at the ref Pelayo then shoves him. Oscar is sent into the post shoulder first. 

Mike ducks a double lariat and hits his own double lariat. Mike backdrops Orly. Mike side steps Tapia and Tapia spears Oscar. Mike rolls Tapia using the tights and wins.

Thoughts: We only saw a few minutes of this at best and it's hard to say much about it.

Elena Negroni says she's facing 3 clowns in an irrelevant town. She says Mr. Anthony and an Informante will be handcuffed during it. She says she doesn't understand why those two are always involved in women's matches. She says they are showing off and she will continue being the face of the women's division title or no title.

La Guerrera Amazona does a promo. She says the most beautiful part of the 2/7 show will be the women's match. She says if you get Los Informantes wet, they multiply. She says she knows Negroni, Stephany and Kamila will have something up their sleeve. She says we will see a war and says she will come out the winner for the third time.

WWC Junior Heavyweight Title Match - Jovan (c) vs. JC Jexxx

We join this in progress. They trade punches and Jov is pulled over the top rope. Jc tope con hilos him. Jc goes for a tope and is hit. Jov slingshot plancha's him. Jov elbow drops Jc for 2. Jov hits elbows on Jc then sitout bombs him for 2. Jc spinning heel kicks Jov in the face.

Jc cradle shocks Jov. Jc goes up top and is stopped. They trade shots on the 2nd rope. Jc headbutts him down from the buckles. Jc top rope splashes but Jov gets his knees up. Jov pins him.

Thoughts: We saw the 2nd half of this and I don't think it was that long of a match. Jovan took bad looking fall on a slingshot plancha. It's not often you see someone get their feet or knees up on a dive and pin the opponent who did it, but that's what happened here.

Los Inmortales do a promo. Orly says he hears funeral bells for the tag champs. He says the time has come and their careers will end on 2/7. Tapia says Mike and Oscar talk to their fans like beasts and they will fix that on 2/7. Tapia says they will understand that all the tag champs are coming down and that's the truth.

Mike Nice and Oscar Bernabe do a promo. Oscar says Mike didn't intend to use the tights to get the pin. Mike says it wasn't his intention. Mike says they are the tag champs and need to have their minds on their opponents on 2/7. Mike says they set the stage on fire and will keep going up. Mike says they will come out victorious again.

WWC Women's Title Four Way Hardcore Match (Special Referees: El Informante & Joe Anthony) - Elena Negroni (c) vs. La Guerrera Amazona vs. Stephanie Amalbert vs. Kamila

We join this in progress. Everyone but Informante is down. He grab Amazona's head and goes to cut her hair but she low blows him. Elena grabs Joe. Informante misses a splash on Joe and takes punches. Joe bodyblocks him out of the ring then topes him.

Amazona hits all 3 opponents with a sign and nails Kamila good with it. Amazona then chairs Steph right in the head without much protection. Amazona has the pin, Joe doesn't want to count forh er but does and only counts 2. Amazona gets in Joe's face and Kamila pushes Amazona into Joe, sending him out. Kamila 619's Amazona. Kamila goes for a springboard and Elena trips her.

Elena misses a top rope swanton. Steph bronco busters Amazona. Elena rolls up Steph and Informante helps hold Steph down for the pin. Elena wins.

Thoughts: The crowd was really into this and it looked a like a wild and exciting match. 

Infromante hits Steph with a sign after. 

Jc Jexx does a promo. He says he faces Jovan in a non-title rematch. He says they made history last time and it's time to write a new chapter in the book. He says he will beat him 1-2-3.

El Hostil Jovan does a promo. He says he gets to wrestle in his hometown for the first time. He says he has the weight on his shoulders as he represents his town. He says he won't say waht he's going to do  bcause they are colleagues and part of the locker room and brothers. He says they set things on fire last time and it was the 5-star match he said it would be. He says they will have the match of the night in his hometown on 2/7.

Abel Durant says Tony Leyenda became Carribean champ in controversial fashion last week.

WWC Caribbean Title Three Way Match - Lightning (c) vs. El Hijo de Dos Caras vs. Tony Leyenda

We join this in progress. Light suplexes Hijo for 2. Tony punches and boots Light. Tony neckbreakers Hijo, making him neckbreaker light. Tony gets 2 counts on both opponents. Tony is mad at hte count and grabs the ref. Tony shoulders over Light then Light spears Hijo. Light goes for the pin, Tony throws him out and pins Hijo.

Thoughts: We didn't get to see much of this but the idea was that Lightning had the pin and Tony threw him out to steal the victory.

Tony Leyenda does a promo. He says when he says he's better, that's real. He says he on in a battle of PR vs Mexico vs Dominican Republic last week. He says he doesn't know what the 2/7 show is called and doesn't care. He asks if Gilbert thinks he can take away his newly won title. He asks what Gilbert will do with him in Humacao, wherever that is he says.

Gilbert does a promo. He says Tony likes to meddle in PR matters. He says he will realize why Gilbert is a fighter who isn't easy.

Lou Forza is in the back and sees Intelecto 5 Estrellas beating up Zcion RT1 in the back. He tells him he was a nobody and is trash. He says he could walk around the neighborhood only due to him. Refs then try to break it up as Estrellas beats him up. We cut ahead and RT1 is busted open and wants to fight. RT walks himself in from the outside and people try to hold him back from fighting.

We just see highlights of Zcion RT1 vs. Intelecto 5 Estrellas. Both guys bled, hit each other with weapons and the ref was out when Estrellas went for the pin. Estrellas missed a charge in the corner and RT1 rolled him up to pin him. Estrellas spit red mist in his face, ddt'd him and choked him around the ring post with a chain after. The announcers say it went beyond sport. RT1's mom checks on RT. She yells at Estrellas and points her finger at him as she gets upset. Estrellas then spits on RT.

Intelecto 5 Estrellas does a promo. He says he doesn't know if it's his age or time but says Ray Gonzalez has become a begger. He says he begs for acceptable and social media approval. He says he lives off of what he once was. Estrellas says he is trying to be what he wants to be. He says Ray will see a new Estrellas and his retirement process will start. He say he won't rest until he retired him and destroyed him. He says all the fans will say Esterllas has become a legend by retiring another legend.

Ray Gonzalez does a promo. He said Estrellas sold himself as a hero of the kids but even a kid can say what a piece of sh!t he is. He says he will represent the children, put him in his place and have empathy for the kids. He tells him to get ready as he will give him a beating.

Abel says Ray is trying to bring order to Estrellas.

We see highlights of Chicano vs. John Hawking. Chicano has control and John makes his comeback. John eventually wins with a full-nelson slam. It doesn't look like they got too wild here.

John gets on the mic after. He says he showed him that he is coming in a big way in 2026. He says he wants the Puerto Rican Title. He says he's coming for it on 2/7. 

Chicano does a promo. He complains about Victor Jovica giving him a match with John Hawking. He says he doesn't know if Victor has dementia by throwing John to the lions. He tells him not to go back to the Chicano of 2025 where he made his own decisions. He says his boss if Eddie Colon but he does what he wants when he feels like it.

John Hawking does a promo. He says Chicano gave him a tremendous fight at Euphoria and says he's a living legend. He says Chicano underestimated him. He says he loves the idea of a PR Title match with him. He said he didn't just come to face the best, he came for gold and he's coming for his PR Title.

Xix Xavant does a promo. He says the Mexicans helped themselves with a big spoon at Euphoria against him. He says Andrade said he didn't need help all along but asks if he could have beaten him without Alberto's help? He says not even in his dreams. He says the people were supporting the nation's hero. He says he guarantees he will get his revenge. He tells Lightning to let him know if the bounty envelope came in thicker or smells like burritos because he's a sellout. He says even the armed forces can't stop him. He says he will see him in a monkey cage and says he will fight with all of his heart until he triumphs.

Abel and Axel close the show. They say they are going to Humaco next weekend and shill the show. Axel says tomorrow's show will feature the debut of John Hawking. 

Overall thoughts: It was nice to see some highlights and some clips of matches from Euphoria. Sadly, we saw nothing in full though. It's almost like a Catch-22 scenario with this show. They don't show full matches, so they have to show a lot of shorter clips of various matches, but because they do that, they run out of footage to show fast. They got a lot done here though and from what we did see, Euphoria looked like a good show. The next show has a lot of rematches, and we'll have to see what they come up with to sell some of those.
