We are in Corpus Christi, TX. Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Nick Aldis is in the ring and says sometimes in his job, you have to deal with people who rub you the wrong way. Nick brings Sami Zayn out. Sami gets bored and asks Nick if it's funny to him. Sami says it must kill Nick to have to call him the Undisputed champ. Sami says it feels good coming out of his mouth.

He says "Justice for Sami" was about justice for all. He says he fights even for the people who boo him. He says justice has been served and this is what it looks like. Sami says he also believes in equality. He says he expects the stars asking for title shots to be treated like he was. He says he expects them to get obstacles put in their way like with him. 

Johnny Gargano comes out with Candice LeRae. Sami hugs JG. Sami says it means a lot that he's out there. JG says he wouldn't miss it for the world but he's out there for another reason. He says they had a deal and JG was in line for a title shot if he helped him vs Punk. JG says he's here to collect. Sami says they never made a deal. JG challenges him for tonight. 

Nick says he makes title matches and Sami doesn't. Sami says it's not totally up to him. Nick says JG had a title match at home a few weeks ago. He says CM Punk is next in line but he's not here.

Kevin Owens comes out. Owens says he deserves a title match. LeRae says JG is next. Owens then stunners JG. Nick says he makes title matches and he can't reward bad behavior. Owens says Sami screwed up 3-4 main events to get his title shot and says this mess started when Sami cost him the title in Toronto. Nick says it's true. Owens says Sami is also an arrogant jack@ss. 

Nick says it has got him to thinking. Sami says Nick threw Punk at him at the last minute last time. Sami grabs Nick and says he's not having it again. Nick tells Sami to get his hands off of him. Nick says he makes the matches and says Sami just made the decision for him when he was on the fence. Nick says Sami is defending the title tonight vs Kevin Owens. Nick says Sami's last reign was 9 days and says let's see if we can get past 7. Sami and Nick then argue in the aisle. Randy Orton's music hits and he comes out. He then stares at Sami and rubs the title.

Money in the Bank Qualifier - Randy Orton vs Trick Williams vs Rey Fenix

Orton drops Rey with a forearm to start. Trick side headlocks Orton and shoulders him over. Rey dropkicks Trick. Rey superkicks Orton out of the corner. Orton is sent shoulder first into the post. Rey double jump springboard plancha's Trick outside. Rey double jump moonsaults Trick inside.

Trick pop up drops Rey. Trick stomps Rey. Rey is lariated over the top then backdropped on the commentary table by Orton. Orton backdrops Trick on the commentary table. Lil Yachty yells at Orton then Orton eye pokes him. Orton then backdrops him on the commentary table.

We go to break and return. Orton does the garvin stomp to Trick. Orton 2nd rope superplexes Trick but Rey sunset bombs him in the process. Rey top rope splashes Orton for 2. Rey hits kicks on both opponents while they are kneeling. Rey swing kicks Orton. Rey enzugiri's Trick in the corner. Orton lariats Rey and Trick. Orton powerslams Rey. Orton powerslams Trick. 

Rey is pushed off the top to the outside. Trick hits a corkscrew facekick on Orton for 2. Rey rolls into a hurricanrana on Trick for 2. Rey superkicks Trick.  Rey jumps off the top and Orton RKO's him. Trick hits a trick shot knee on Rey and pins him.

Thoughts: I figured Orton would win here and was a bit surprised. This worked a lot better than it should have as we had some serious styles clashes here. I was fine with this one and it was interesting to see Orton fight a luchador, since he hasn't done that a lot except for Rey Mysterio.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae talk in the back. Sami says they are trying to take his title from him again. He asks if they saw Nick say Gargano isn't on the list of contenders and doesn't deserve it. Sami says he will work on Nick for him and get him the match. Sami says he can't lose the title after 7 days and go through it again. Sami says if he loses the title, he asks if Johnny will get another shot again? Sami asks if he understands what he's trying to say. Johnny says he does. Sami says they will talk. Sami says he's got him.

MFT do a promo. Tama says we did that and his family did that. He says he never needed Nakamura and Nakamura needed him. He says when he refused, he brought in Kyoki. He says whatever happens to Kyoki is on his hands.

Kyoki and Shinsuke Nakamura talk in Japanese. Nakamura says Tama isn't the hunter but the prey.

Tatum plays with a candle while Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss talk. Tatum tries to show them a special candle and Flair blows it out. Flair says she needs to focus on qualifying for MITB. Tatum says this is the perfect opportunity for them to bond together. Tatum then gives Flair 2 more candles. Flair then blows out a candle representing bad luck.

MFT (Tama and Talla Tonga) vs Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki)

Haku is with MFT.

Kyoki goes to hit Talla on the buckles then he knocks him off the buckles. Tama nails Kyoki from behind and throws him in. Kyoki dropkicks Tama off the apron. Kyoki double dropkicks MFT outside. 

We go to break and return. Kyoki hits crossbodies on Tama. Tama hit chops and Kyoki chops back. Tama boots him off the ropes. Kyoki flying headscissors him. Kyoki dropkicks Talla. Kyoki ddt's him. 

Kyoki top rope seated sentons his opponents outside. Kyoki basement dropkicks Talla. SN flips Kyoki onto Talla for 2. Talla bangs his head off the post. SN 2nd rope flying knees him for 2. SN sliding germans Tama then Haku hits SN with his stick for the DQ.

Thoughts: We didn't get too much of this and it had a DQ finish here. It's probably not a good sign that Bakusai didn't win this clean. I like Kyoki over Hiromu Takahashi, as he doesn't do all the dangerous moves I didn't like. It was a match.

Haku rams his stick into SN's throat. Kyoki jumps off the steps onto Talla and Talla chokeslams him on the apron. Kyoki then takes a chopblock + facekick in the ring.

Kevin Owens is interviewed. He says it's a big night and says he had his first WWE match here vs John Cena. He says he won too. He says he will beat Sami to become WWE champ tonight.

Finn Balor interrupts. He says KO and Sami have been friends forever and it's convenient he's getting the title shot especially after he helped him. Finn says he's coming for whoever wins the title, even if he has to win the MITB briefcase.

Aldis talks to Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton. Nick congratulates Green for winner. Danhausen interrupts. He says Aldis' phone and tells him who is calling. He then says he blocked someone on his phone. Aldis goes to get his phone.

Tiff says she will be in a MITB Qualifier and hopes Green won't mind. Grene says she doesn't. They see Nikki Bella. Tiff tells Bella to keep her name out of her mouth. Bella says she's coming after Green's title and doesn't need qualifying matches. She says she's a legend and she's coming after the title.

Michael Cole does a sitdown interview with Cody Rhodes. He says Cody couldn't pull the trigger. Cody says he doesn't like the phrasing. 

Cole says Cody is QB1 but it seems like the team is gone. We see a picture of Cody holding the title up at Mania and Cole says all those people in it stabbed him in the back. Cody says he should have seen it coming. He says things didn't go differently with him. Cody talks about people saying he might turn heel. Cody says he knew who he was when he won the title and being uncompromised got him a ton of success. He says when the situation comes up again like it did with Orton, he won't make the same decision as he did at SNME.

Thoughts: I'm not sure where things are going with Cody, but they need to figure it out soon. He's too big of a name to not have something better going on.

Jade Cargill's crew is interviewed. B-Fab laughs at Flair and Alexa being in line for the tag titles. Jade says her girls will be in line. Jade says she's coming back for the Women's Title. She says MITB is hers and she's coming for her.  

Women's Money in the Bank Qualifier - Jade Cargill vs Alexa Bliss vs Jacy Jayne

AB goes for JJ and is thrown down backwards. JJ begs off of Jade. JJ gets on the commentary table to talk trash and AB sweeps her on there. JJ trips AB then pulls her out. JJ side headlocks Jad then Jad shoulders her over.

Jade slams JJ then JJ flying headscissors her. Jade is pulled over the top then Jade trips JJ. AB dropkicks Jade through the ropes. AB pushes JJ's face into the mat with her foot. JJ superkicks Jade in the gut then Jade black hole slams JJ for 2.

We go to break and return. We get a tower of doom spot with Jade sending the other two down. Jade tries to pin AB. Jade hits flying back elbows on her opponents. Jade then spears the post when JJ moves.

AB shoulders JJ over then slaps her. AB knees her in the face and ddt's her. AB flying headscissors JJ then dropkicks her out of the ring from behind. AB cannonballs JJ off the apron. 

Jade throws AB into the ropes and knees her in the face. JJ knees AB in the face for 2. JJ is tripped into the buckles. AB top rope plancha's Jade and JJ together. AB hits sister abigail on JJ for 2. AB thesz presses Jade and pounds on her. Jade hits a jade end on AB for 2. JJ superkicks Jade and steals the pin.

Thoughts: It was average. It could have been a little cleaner at times here and wasn't super impressive. Jade not winning is not a good sign for her career at all.

Fatal Infuence then celebrate with Jacy after in the aisle.

Giulia is interviewed about MITB Qualifying. Nia Jax and Lash Legend interrupt before she can say much. Giulia says she doesn't like them and beats people she doesn't like. Lash says she will clean house in qualifying and bring home the tag titles and look good while doing it. Giulia says let's see how good she looks when she kicks her teeth out too.

Lil Yachty puts over Trick WIlliams in the back. He tels Trick not to forget about what Baron Corbin did. Trick says he's got plans for Baron but wants to handle MITB first.

Trick then goes up to Sami and says what's up gingerbread? Sami says it's 2x WWE champ and tells him to show respect to the champ. Trick says his last reign was a week and this one might be shorter. Sami says he will stay champ. Trick says he hopes he stays champ so he can take his title again. 

Damian Priest says we should ask what took so long for him attack R-Truth. He says he had to win matches for them for months and should have forced Truth to change. He says he tried to move on but Truth failed again. He said then he had to explain it to him the only way he knows how. He says he doesn't think Truth gets it yet but he will. He says if Truth wants to call him a villain or a backstabber, he should call him a bad man.

Undisputed Title - Sami Zayn (c) vs Kevin Owens

KO hits Sami during intros and boots him in the corner. Sami goes out to stall and KO running lariats him there. KO sentons him on the floor. We go to PiP break and return.

Sami goes to the apron and pulls KO's throat down over the top rope. Sami hits mounted punches. Sami elbows him in the head. Sami slaps KO. Sami throws KO into the corner and KO goes down.

Sami boots him in the corner. KO's head is banged off the buckles and Sami 2nd rope double axe handles him for 2. Sami sits up top and they punch each other. Sami eye rakes him. KO superkicks him.

KO sentons Sami twice. KO corner cannonballs him. KO AA's him for 2. Sami blue thunders him for 2. We go to PiP break and return. 

They trade shots on the buckles and KO headbutts him down. KO top rope swantons him for 2. Johnny Gargano comes down and gets on the apron. Candice LeRae comes in and tornado ddt's KO from the 2nd rope. Sami helluva kicks KO for 2. 

KO pop up powerbombs Sami. KO stunners Sami for 2 when Gargano puts Sami's foot on the ropes. KO sends Gargano into the rails. KO clears off the commentary table and Sami hits KO. KO throws Sami through the commentary table. Gargano comes in the ring and KO stunners him. LeRae gets on the ropes to distract the ref. CM Punk comes out and hits Owens with the title. Sami goes for the pin but the ref counts 2 only. There appears to be some kind of issue. Sami helluva kicks KO and pins him.

Thoughts: Odd ending with a count getting messed up near the end. We had a ton of interference here with Punk, LeRae and Gargano all getting involved and that mostly ate up the last half of this. 

Punk beats up on Sami after. Punk hits him with a GTS.

Overall thoughts: Orton's match worked better than I expected and I was fine with that one. MFT/Bakusai was just a normal match and the Women's MITB match was about the same. The main was fine and filled with shenanigans. I think they are doing a good job with Sami's title run so far and they have a lot of ways they can go with it. This one was mostly based around Sami's shenanigans with everyone else kind of playing second fiddle here. The show was fine overall and I'd give this a 6 out of 10.

We are in Mexico City, Mexico. Wade Barrett and Michael Cole are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Randy Orton comes out to talk. He does Cody's line and asks what we want to talk about. He says he wants to talk about Cody Rhodes. Orton says Cody showed the world he is no killer but is a "good man". He says it takes a lot to kill a legend. He says Cody's soul is not for sale. He says Cody isn't a killer but he is. Orton says being a good man means nothing to him. He says he's coming for Cody with the RKO.

Nick Aldis and Chelsea Green talk in the back. Nick says if she gets hurt and the mask comes off, it's on her. Green says she will make sure it stays on. She says she needed to keep this title.

Green runs into Tiffany Stratton. Tiff says she won't miss her big title defense tonight.

We get a video on 9/11.

AAA Cruiserweight Title - Rey Fenix (c) vs Ricky Saints

Rey takes down RS. Rey flying headscissors him. Rey walks up the ropes, does rope tricks and corkscrew diving armdrags him. Rey dropkicks him. 

RS seated moonsaults off the ropes and armdrags him. Rey hurricanrana's him for 2. Rey tiger feints and is kicked out. RS tope tornado ddt's him. RS then poses. 

We go to break and return. RS rope walks and clubs Rey's shoulder. They fight on the buckles. Rey double jump springboard hurricanrana's him. Rey double jump springboard moonsaults him for 2. Rey rope walk kicks RS. Rey 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. 

Rey top rope crossbodies him for 2. Rey 2nd rope flips at him but RS counters with a powerbomb. RS tornado ddt's him for 2. RS cradles Rey for 2. Rey swing kicks him in the face. RS high kicks him. Rey handspring cutters him for 2.

RS superkicks him and Rey superkicks him. Rey mexican muscle busters him and pins him.

Thoughts: Michael Cole was really off here and he got multiple moves wrong. I was fine with this one. They didn't overdo it too much and Rey did some nice flying moves. Rey won as expected.

Rey offers a handshake and RS doesn't take it. 

Sami Zayn is interviewed. He says Cathy Kelley is judging him. Sami says this is about justice and not him. He says he handed Owens the win over Punk and Owens didn't take it. He says "forget you" to him. He says he tried to help Gargano beat Punk but it didn't work out. Sami says it never could have been them, Cody or others, it has to be him. Sami says Punk stole the title from him and he will take it back tonight. 

Johnny Gargano comes in with LeRae. Johnny says he's back. Sami says tonight's the night. Johnny asks if he's next if Sami beats Punk. Sami says let's get through tonight first. Johnny says if you beat Punk, I'm next. Sami says, "I got you".

Nikki Bella vs Paige

Paige runs in and the ref keeps Paige away. Paige thesz presses Nikki and pounds on her. Paige hair throws her. Paige hits mounted slaps and rolls her. Paige superkicks her and Nikki goes out. 

Nikki boots Paige outside. Paige hits shots and sends Nkki into the rails. Nikki's head is banged off the commentary table. Paige superkicks her. Paige knees Nikki over the 2nd rope. Nikki pulls her out. Paige sends Nikki into the rails and mocks her dance.

Nikki is sent into the steps. Nikki pulls the ref in her way in the ring then she pulls Paige into the buckles. She then pins Paige with her feet on the ropes.

Thoughts: The longer it went on the worse it got. But it didn't go that long fortunately. The finish was sloppy and this wasn't good.

Lash Legend and Nia Jax are interviewed by Cathy. Cathy asks if Green's condition will factor in how Nia handles this match. Nia says Green should have never been champ and her title reign is a travesty. She says she will end Green's career tonight. Lash wants to break Green tonight.

Trick Williams comes out and is given a soccer ball by a planted fan. Trick talks about a Mexican soccer player. He grabs the ball and pretends its Baron Corbin's head. He says he slapped him around and kicked his @ss. Trick then kicks the ball into the crowd.

Trick says with MITB, he needs to change his name from Tricky 2 Times to Tricky 2 Titles. He then brings out Lil' Yachty.

Baron Corbin drags Yachty out and Yachty has clearly been beaten up. Trick chases Baron away and brings out refs to check on Yachty. Baron then comes out and hits Trick with a kendo stick. 

Finn Balor and Nick Aldis talk in the back. Finn says he should get the next title shot as he's ready. Nick mentions MITB and Danhausen interrupts for a second. Gunther comes in and Nick yells at him for interrupting. Gun says Finn doesn't belong in the title conversation and says he peaked 10 years ago. Finn calls him a b*tch, Gunther comes at him and Finn drops him with a shot.

WWE Women's Title - Chelsea Green (c) vs Nia Jax

Nia is wearing the USA flag on her outfit and Green is wearing the Mexican flag. I think this is supposed to make Nia heelish but with it being 9/11 and Nia somewhat being pro-USA anyway, it's more of a face thing.

Green dropkicks her and sends her out. Green's tope is caught and Nia throws her into the apron. Nia pounces her over the Spanish commentary table. Nia throws her in the ring. Green step up enzugiri's her then top rope dropkicks her. Green is on the apron and Nia sweeps her forward. Green is thrown into the rails.

Nia corner uranage's her and sentons her for 2. Nia throws her down backwards. Nia is on the 2nd rope and Green throws her down. Green flying headscissors her. Green meteora's her from behind on the ropes. Green tries to stand on her but is samoan dropped for 2. 

Nia takes off Green's mask and throws her out. Lash goes to hit Green but Tiff takes the punch for Lash. Green sends Lash into the post. Nia misses a banzai drop. Green puts her mask back on. Nia's throat is pulled down over the top rope. Green headbutts Nia with the mask on. Green hits a bad buckshot unprettier and wins.

Thoughts: The finish was sloppy but the match was fine otherwise. It made sense with Nia throwing Green around and Green making her comeback. I do think Green could have maybe used a dive or another highspot here though.

CM Punk is interviewed by Cathy. He says bad behavior needs to be taught a lesson sometimes. He says Sami has won the idiot lottery. He says you are crazy if you think he came here to lose his title. He says Sami will lose again and see why he is CM Punk and the champ.

AAA Tag Titles - The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) (c) vs Damian Priest and R-Truth

The Raiders nail DP and RT from behind. Erik flying forearms DP off the apron. Ivar top rope splashes RT for 2. RT is double pounded on. Ivar lariats RT down for 2. 

DP high kicks Ivar from the apron. DP hits punches on Ivar and flying forearms him. DP flying back elbows Erik then hits spin kicks on both opponents. DP lifting flatliners Ivar. DP jumps off the steps outside and dives on The Raiders.

We go to break and return. RT flying shoulderblocks Erik after both tags in. RT blue thunders Erik and five knuckle shuffles him. RT then AA's Ivar for 2. DP hits kicks and a spinning forearm on Erik. DP is popped up into a powerslam. 

RT hits punches on Ivar. Ivar spinning high kicks him. RT takes a double one arm powerbomb and is pinned by Erik.

Thoughts: I was a little surprised to see The Raiders win here. The match was okay as expected here. They had a nice flow going and the two teams worked well together. Truth was over as usual.

Priest gets in the ring and is disappointed. He helps Truth up. Truth says he's sorry and they hug. Priest then gives Truth a sombrero then lariats him down. DP hits a south of heaven on Truth on the sombrero.

Thoughts: It was the likely outcome here because WWE just can't break up teams without them attacking each other.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss talk in the back. Bliss says they have something to work on after last week. Fatal Influence come in. Reid says they have more to work on than they think. Fallon rips them. Flair asks if they have a problem. Tatum pops up behind Fatal Influence. Tatum says her and Flair beat them and says they should hold onto the Women's Tag Titles tight. 

Fatal Influence leaves. Tatum says she has Flair's back. Flair says she knows she can trust Bliss but says she's hoping what happened at SNME was a mistake. Tatum goes to say more and Bliss tells her no.

Cathy interviews Rey Fenix. Rey says this weekend is a big deal for his family. Ricky Saints interrupts. He says he's here to apologize. He says he hates losing and offers a handshake, saying he's the better man. Saints then pretends to walk off before hitting him. Rey is sent into the walls. Saints then says he's the better man tonight.

Undisputed WWE Title - CM Punk (c) vs Sami Zayn

They punch each other. Punk hits mounted punches. Punk topes him outside. We go to PiP break and return. Punk hits chops and forearms. Sami kind of runs into his knee and Punk favors it after. Sami chop blocks Punk on the apron. 

Sami bangs Punk's ankle off the post. Sami stomps Punk's ankle then punches Punk's exposed knee. Punk boots him but falls down holding his leg. Punk hits punches. Punk swinging neckbreakers him.

Punk bangs Sami's injured wrist off the mat. Punk tries to take off Sami's wristpad. Sami blocks a GTS then he figure fours Punk. We go to PiP break and return. 

Sami superplexes Punk. Punk is nearly pushed into the ref and Sami blue thunders him for 2. Sami exploders him into the buckles. Sami runs at him and is lariated. Punk hits a GTS. Johnny Gargano comes down. Sami rolls up Punk for 2. Sami figure four's Punk. 

Candice LeRae gets on the apron and distracts the ref. Gargano comes in the ring with the title and misses a shot. Punk hits a GTS on him. The ref tries to get Gargano out. Kevin Owens comes in, tries to hit Sami with the title but nails Punk instead. Sami low blows KO. Sami helluva kicks Punk and pins him.

Thoughts: We had a big upset here with Sami beating Punk. I didn't see that coming and thought Sami would never see the belt again. He did earn it though. They focused on working each other's injured body parts for the middle portion of this but the finishing stretch was all shenanigans with Gargano, Owens and LeRae getting involved. Sami as champ opens up a lot of different matches and I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with it.

Overall thoughts: The opener was alright. Bella/Paige wasn't that good as expected. Green/Nia was fine and I liked The War Raiders vs Truth/Priest. The main had a big title change which was nice and had a lot of fun shenanigans at the end. It was okay bout also. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as it was an okay show. I'm interested to see where things go with Sami as champ, as he really should be act up and make trouble this time around.

We are in Cleveland, OH. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

Gunther comes out to talk. He says he's been looking for Sami Zayn all day. He says the show won't go forward until Sami gets out here. Sami then appears in the crowd and says he's here. Sami says it seems like everyone is so mad at him. He says Gunther isn't the victim, he is. He says he was robbed and still should be WWE champ. He says the nicest guy should be champ.

He says he wants an opportunity to get his title back that he says was stolen from him. He says he has to jump through obstacles week after week and wasn't even in the triple threat last week. He tells Gunther to buckle up if he's not happy of how things went last week because this is the future of SD. He says there's no easy ride for anyone. He says if he doesn't sleep or eat, no one else does. He says no justice, no peace. Gunther says he will drag him in the ring if he doesn't come. Gunther then goes into the crowd after Sami. Finn Balor appears and says he's out for justice for himself and will take it now. He chases Sami into the ring. Sami goes up the aisle then runs into Kevin Owens. Owens then chases Sami to the back.

Nick Aldis and CM Punk talk in the back. Nick says they need a #1 contender and Sami keeps sabotaging his attempts to get one. Punk then talks to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. Punk asks if Johnny fought his entire career to get here and lay on a box or become champ of the world. Punk says Johnny Wrestling lurks in there somewhere. Punk then says Johnny should challenge him for the title tonight. Johnny doesn't budge but Candice asks to give her a few more minutes. Johnny then gets up and says, "let's do it". Candice is then happy.

Charlotte Flair talks to Alexa Bliss and asks where she has been. Bliss says there's a change of plans. Tatum Paxley comes in and says they will work so well together. She says she always dreamt of teaming with The Queen. Tatum says it'll be so great and says their skin will touch multiple times. Flair tells her to take notes, do as she says and don't touch her.

Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) vs Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley

LR pounds on TP and bangs her head off the buckles. TP sunset flips her but Fallon tags in. Fallong knees TP in the gut. LR hits a double underhook shoulderbreaker on TP. LR gets a 2 count on TP.

We go to break and return. TP superkicks Fallon. Flair top rope double crossbodies her opponents. Flair chops Reid and Fallon. Flair forward handspring lariats LR. Flair rolls up LR for 2. Flair fallaway slams Fallon. LR superkicks Flair. 

TP plancha's both opponents off the post. Jacy gets on the ropes and TP swings at her. Bliss sends Jacy into the post.  LR backrolls TP. TP hits cemetary driver on LR and pins her

Thoughts: It didn't get a ton of time. Flair mentioned in the promo prior to this that her team might get a title shot if they win, so that explains why they won here. TP's dive was nice but it wasn't much of note otherwise.

Jade Cargill's crew comes out and fights Flair and friends. Fatal Influence joins in. We then jump cut and Flair's crew is down. TP takes a double electric chair drop on her face. Jade hits a jade end on Flair. 

Nikki Bella is interviewed. She says her trust in Paige went too far and she failed The Bellas' brand. Nikki says Paige is the reason Brie is hurt and said she hurt her big return. Paige comes in. She says Nikki has never liked her and Paige says it's because she built her career on hustle, loyalty and respects and Nikki just slept with it. Paige tells her to bring it next week or she will end her career quicker than her last relationship.

Gunther talks to Nick Aldis in the back. He complains about Nick's recent decisions. He says Finn Balor shouldn't be in line and then complains about Gargano being given a shot. We see Danhausen cleaning in the back. Gunther says Nick is addicted to the limelight and is making decisions to keep the attention on him. Gunther says he's worried. Nick says he can take Gargano up with Punk and says the business with Sami has to wait. Nick says he has important business with the Women's Title and leaves. Danhausen pops up and says he knows how Gunther feels. Gun says never to touch him again. Dan then puts an Employee of the Month portrait on Nick's desk.

Nick Aldis talks to a doctor who he says is here to discuss Chelsea Green's injury status. Chelsea Green comes out. She says she won't beg and cry. She says the crowd won't get waterworks but a p!ssed off women's champ. Green says she still is the champ. Green says she has waited 13 years for the title and says to let the women try to take the title if they think it's so easy. She says she doesn't need protection and isn't concerned about safety, just her legacy. 

The doc says Green's orbital bone isn't fully healed. He says as long as she wears the face mask, she's cleared to compete.

Lash Legend and Nia Jax come out. Nia says she thought Green would never shut up. She says she wants the Women's title and she heads to the ring. Nia says Green gives her a match right now or she breaks her other orbital bone. Nia knocks Green's mask away. Tiffany Stratton runs down and fights Nia. Lash takes a backcracker from Tiff. Nick says Nia can get her title match next week but they can do Tiff vs Nia now.

Tiffany Stratton vs Nia Jax

Tiff baseball slides Lash and is lariated on the floor. We go to break and return. Tiff stunners Nia. Nia misses a corner charge and Tiff hurricanrana's her. Tiff basement dropkicks her for 2. Tiff is dropped on the top rope. Nia pop up headbutts her. Nia is tripped on the 2nd rope. Tiff gets a 2 count on her. Tiff clubs her and running lariats her. Tiff casadora stunners her. Tiff handspring stunners her. Tiff crucifix bombs her for 2.

Nia samoan drops Tiff. Nia banzai drops her and pins her.

Thoughts: This one got cut up by the break. Nia won a lot quicker than I expected and I was surprised to see Tiff beaten so easily. What we got was just so-so here as it dind't get the time.

Nia grabs Green's mask after. Lash laughs and Nia taunts her with the mask. Green goes in and gets in Nia's face. Nia and Lash walk off for some reason.

Kevin Owens is interviewed by Byron. He says he's happy for Gargano but says Punk only did this as he benefits from it. Owens says Punk thinks he can get Sami in the ring through this. Owens says if Sami goes out there, he won't be alone.

Corey Graves does a taped sitdown interview with Cody Rhodes. Randy Orton immediately interrupts. Orton tells Cody not to touch him and talks about the things he said to Cody's mom. He then rips him for not doing anything about it. He then talks about Cody's wife and says he will be burying his dog soon. He says Cody is an addict and needs help. He says Cody loves the title more than his own family. 

Orton says Cody's more sick than anyone. Cody says maybe he's aware he's sick. He says if Orton's right, he's screw on Sunday. Cody leaves and Orton gets frustrated.

Tricky Williams and Lil Yachty talk in the back. Yachty says he will whoop that trick up and down Atlantis. Trick says he needs him to survive, not win. Yachty says he trained all week and shows us clips of him training and throwing money around. Trick says it was nice but says he wasn't on the treadmill or moving weights.

Baron Corbin comes in and says he's glad he thinks this is a joke. He says what won't be a joke is what happens at SNME. Trick calls him Megamind and Mr. Clean. Baron says Trick's shot relies on Yachty and he will slaughter him until he's dead like Trick's hopes and dreams.

Naamura says what he and Kyoki do is art. Kyoki says it's complete destruction. Nakamura says it's an exploding energy of madness they can't keep inside. They then say, "We are Bakusai".

Bakusai (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki) vs The Miz and Kit Wilson

This is Kyoki's WWE TV debut. 

Kit backs up Kyoki in the corner and gyrates at him. Kyoki crossbodies him twice. Kyoki corner lariats him and basement dropkicks him. Miz catches Kyoki's crossbody and chops him. Kyoki asks for more and says, "more please". Kyoki then chops Miz. Kyoki corner lariats him. Miz is laid up top and SN flying knees him in the gut for 2.

SN sliding lariats Miz. Miz kicks the middle rope into SN's crotch. Kit flying euros SN outside. We go to break and return. Miz running boots SN in the face. SN hits Miz in the gut. Miz knees him in the gut. SN hits both opponents then Miz is rolled up for 2. SN spinning heel kicks Miz. Kyoki tags in and hits shots on Kit. Kyoki flying headscissors Kit. Kit is sent into Miz and Kyoki makes Kit headscissors Miz. Kyoki superkicks Kit. Kyoki top rope sentons Miz and Kit outside and kind of powerbombs himself on the floor.

Kyoki falcon arrows Kit for 2. Miz throws SN out. Kyoki armdrags Miz. SN running knees Miz. Kit rolls up Kyoki for 2. Kyoki does a seated franchizer/reverse stunner and pins Kit.

Thoughts: The heels didn't know what do with most of Kyoki's offense. They really tried to put Kyoki over here and he was kind of amusing, but I don't know about this longterm. Kyoki is totally being used like Butch/Pete Dunne used to be used. It was average.

MFT come out and stare down Nakamura and Kyoki.

We get a video on The War Raiders vs Priest/Truth. Ivar says they won't lose their AAA Tag Titles soon and will hurt them to keep what is theirs. DP says The Raiders treat them like jokes. DP says they have had a lot of singles titles too and The Raiders have none. Erik says they will remind them they are ready for anyone. Truth says they will take their masks and then starts saying things in Spanish, which gets DP confused and mad.

Blake Monroe is interviewed. She brings up Giulia then Giulia attacks her (they are about to have a match). They then fight into the entrance area. Officials try to break it up and Giulia drops Blake with a knee to the face.

Johnny Gargano is up and looking in a mirror that Candice is holding. Sami Zayn tries to get his attention. He says he's happy for him. He says this is for Johnny and this is one for guys like them. Sami says even if he's not out there with him, he's out there with him. Sami tells him to take it if an opportunity falls in his lap. Sami says he wants the first shot if Johnny beats Punk and gets aggressive with it. Johnny agrees.

Undisputed WWE Title - CM Punk (c) vs Johnny Gargano

Punk slams JG twice. JG hits punches. Punk shoulders him over. JG monkey flips him and hits mounted corner punches. JG's slingshot is caught and JG headscissors Punk. JG enzugiri's Punk out and slingshot plancha's him.

We go to break and return. JG hits punches. Punk leg lariats him. Punk sits up top and is hit. Punk top rope crossbodies JG but JG backrolls through for 2. JG sunset flips him for 2. JG superkicks Punk for 2. 

Punk hits punches and JG fires back. Punk high kicks him for 2. JG enzugiri's him then slingshot spears him for 2. Punk blue thunders him for 2. Sami Zayn comes out. Punk hits Sami. Canidce LeRae flying headscissors Punk from the apron. JG topes Punk. JG slingshot ddt's Punk for 2.

Punk grabs the WWE Title. Kevin Owens comes out and pounds on Sami. Gunther comes out and facekicks Owens. Finn Balor comes out and slingblades Gun. Sami hits Finn, Gunther and Owens with the title. Punk hits a GTS on JG but Candice distracts the ref. Sami hits Punk with the title and JG gets a 2 count on Punk.

Nick Aldis comes out with officials. They yell at Sami and Candice and Sami is kicked out. Punk hits a GTS on Johnny and pins him.

Thoughts: The match was fun with Sami coming out and them teasing a Johnny win. Thankfully he lost though. I didn't like them using Johnny here in this spot. He hasn't won any matches for months and he is just not a main event guy. He shouldn't be in this role.

Punk gets on the mic after. He says Sami doesn't want the title as much as he wants to break his face. Punk says Sami has a title shot next week in Mexico and says it's time for him to go to sleep.

Overall thoughts: The women's tag match didn't get a lot of time and neither did Nia/Tiff. Kyoki was kind of amusing in his debut but the heels didn't know how to take most of his offense. That match was average too. The main was fun but Johnny Gargano should not be in main events right now and I think any other person could have done a similar job to what he did as the scenario made that one work. This was all about Sami Zayn otherwise, but Sami is entertaining, so that's fine. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 as they did well with some of the stories here and the main was fun. It was okay overall.

We are in Ottawa, Canada. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

Kevin Owens comes out. KO says he has lost many WWE Title matches in 12 years, but none of them felt as bad to lose as the one last week. He says he hurried his injury recover process to get to Summerslam. He says he wanted to win the title last week in Toronto because his parents live there. He says his parents drove to the show and he wanted to win the title in front of his mom. He said Sami Zayn made sure he didn't do that.

He says him and Sami did a lot of messed up stuff to each other. He says he can't forgive it or forget it. He says he will never get an opportunity like that in Toronto, in front of his family and getting the chance to beat CM Punk for the title. He says he will deal with Sami but says Punk knows he had him beat. KO says him and Punk aren't done but are just getting started.

CM Punk comes out. He says he didn't need Sami's help to beat him and they can do it right now. He says he'll send him packing from here. Nick Aldis comes out to stop Punk. Gunther then comes out. 

Gunther says he figured it out what it is with Punk and KO. He says Punk sees his obnoxious self in KO. Gun says while they argue about things from 20 years ago, he's worried about what matters now.

Finn Balor comes out. Gun says the ghost of Finn Balor came out. Finn says we are all getting tired of his act. Finn says KO had his opportunity. Finn says if there's a line for the title, it starts with him. Nick Aldis says Finn can face Gunther and Owens for the #1 Contendership tonight.

Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green talk. Tiff asks if Green is sure she wants she to go out there. Tiff says she doesn't want anything jeopardizing her 30 days to defend the title. Green says she will be out there with her.

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) vs Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green

Tiff misses a move on Lash. Lash swings her around. Tiff hip attacks her on the ropes. Lash swinging backbrekaers her for 2. Tiff handspring stunners Lash. Green zig zags Lash. Nia is double dropkicked into the ropes. Green step up enzugiri's Nia. Nia headbutts her in Green's injured face. Green sells it big and tags out.

We go to PiP break and return. Lash chokeslams Tiff for 2. Nia bangs Green's face off her knee. Docs come out to check on Green's face. Lash bearhugs Tiff. 

Nia corner splashes Tiff. Tiff flails on her in the corner and Nia lariats her for 2.  Tiff is held in the air and Nia misses a 2nd rope legdrop. TIff shiranui's Lash off of Nia. The docs try to walk Green to the back but Green goes up top and dropkicks Nia. Green dropkicks Nia off the apron. Green top rope plancha's Nia outside. 

Green backhands Nia. Lash catches Tiff coming off the apron and swings her into the rails. Nia slaps Green and samoan drops her. Nia bonzai drops Green and pins her.

Thoughts: They did what they were supposed to here. Tiff didn't want Green to come in because of her injury. She eventually did and paid for it. It made sense and was fine.

Nick Aldis is on the phone in the back. Danhausen comes in. Dan says he can be the employee of the month. Gunther walks in. Dan offers a handshake and Gun ignores him. Gun wants to confirm there's a triple threat tonight and no other changes. Nick says may the best man win. Dan asks if he can added to the match and Nick says no.

WWE Women's United States Title - Jacy Jayne (c) vs Paige

Jacy throws her down backwards and sentons her. Jacy misses a sneton and Paige superkicks her. Paige headbutts her. Paige hits knees to her gut and Jacy is sent out. Paige cannonballs her off the apron. Lainey Reid pump kicks Paige outside.

We go to break and return. JJ chinlocks her. Paige jawbreakers her then they could clothesline each other down. They trade shots. JJ hits kicks on her and step up enzugiri's her. Paige fisherman suplexes her and germans her. Paige hits a lightning spiral for 2. 

JJ superkicks her. Paige headbutts her. Reid gets on the ropes and Paige sends JJ into the ropes. Fallon tries to get in and Paige kicks her. JJ cradles Paige and pins her. 

Thoughts: We had a lot of shenanigans here. Paige tried a little harder than usual and it's a shame we didn't get more a match as it was going fine.

Nikki Bella then nails Paige from behind and hits mounted shots on her. Nikki spears her and hits bad stomps. Nikki TKO's her. 

Finn Balor and Cody Rhodes talk. Cody's wondering what to do with Orton. Finn says to keep it cool and says Orton is trying to goad him down into a dark path. He says not to do anything you can't come back from. Finn says he will be #1 contender and says there will be a new champ when he's done with Orton.

Trick Williams and Lil' Yachty talk. Trick says he will always look out for him and asks if he's ready for Baron Corbin. He says Baron is a monster. Yachty says he has bigger fish to fry and isn't worried. He says Baron put him through a table on ESPN. He says he will do the impossible, last the 5 minutes and they will get the title back.

Trick then runs into Baron Corbin. Baron says he has no friends as they make you do stupid things. He says he will whoop that Trick. He says he doesn't have to be entertaining, he's the champ.

Cody Rhodes comes out to talk. He says there's a lot of talk of Orton getting #15, but that's not the record and 18 is. He says if anyone breaks the record, it's Orton. He says Orton kept getting do-overs and he has screwed up again by getting between him and the title. 

Randy Orton comes out. He says Cody wants to talk accountability. Orton says he had 0 accountability early and made bad decisions early. He says Cody had a drivers seat to it as he needed a babysitter and needed someone to be his b!tch. 

Orton tries to get Cody to punch him and talks about him screwing him out of his Summerslam match with Punk. Orton talks about Cody's dog and asks if he's dead yet.

Orton asks Cody if his trailer park trash mother will be in the front row when he beats his @ss. He then asks if Cody's trashy wife will be there and tries to get Cody to hit him.  Cody says he knows what he's doing. He asks if Orton wants him to hit him. Cody says he's counting down the days to SNME. He wonders if Orton is a hall of famer like Dusty or a first class screw up like Orton's dad was. He says he will see him in Atlanta. Orton says, "too far".

Tatum Paxley is interviewed. She says her mind is racing with thoughts. Tatum tells her something in her ear and Jackie backs off. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss go up to Tatum. Tatum says she's sorry about the blood thing at lunch. Bliss asks about Tatum teaming with them about SNME. Bliss says they will be out there with Tatum tonight.

Penta and Rey Fenix do a video with them talking about their history and being brothers. 

Byron Saxton interviews Rey Fenix. Rey says he loves Penta but he will be a world champ. Ricky Saints comes in and mocks Rey. He says it's a cute story. He says the part we all know is when Rey loses the tournament and has to stop ducking him and give him a AAA Cruiserweight Title shot. Rey says he will win the tournament and the title then come shut him up.

Michin vs Tatum Paxley

Mich ducks a lock up and piefaces her. Mich wasitlcoks her, TP flips over her and guillotines her. TP piefaces her. TP ducks a lariat and Mich poses on the ropes. Mich PK's her from the apron. TP dropkicks her off the apron and moonsaults her off the apron. Flair tells her that was good.

We go to break and return. Mich chokes her on the ropes with her legs. TP hits forearms and is forearmed down for 2. Mich surfboards her. TP tries a pin off of it. Mich misses a corner cannonball. TP backrolls her for 2. TP superkicks her down. 

TP flying forearms her and step up enzugiri's her. Mich is hanging over the 2nd rope and TP enzugiri's her using the apron. Mich sitout powerbombs her. TP back body drops her. TP spinning heel kicks her and hits a cemetery drive on her to win.

Thoughts: What we got was fine. Tatum showed off some creative moves here. Thankfully she won here in her SD debut.

Blake Monroe is interviewed. Blake is asked why she jeopardize her debut. She says the match was beneath her and says to ask Nick why she faced an opponent below her standards. Giulia comes in and hits her. She then bangs Blake's head off a rollaway door. 

Kevin Owens talks to Randy Orton in the back. Orton says he was right about Cody. KO says, "I know". He says it's amazing. Orton says he didn't forget how he dropped him on his head so they aren't friends. KO says they will work on it.

MFT does a promo. Tama says Priest and Truth brought all they had but it wasn't enough. He says everyone hasn't gotten the message yet. Talla says Nakamura is threatening them but they put him down for months. He says Nakamura has backup now. Tama says Kyoki isn't in Japan and was brought here just to get put in the dirt. Haku says they must not underestimate their enemies. Haku says their challengers must be scared because they are the mother f*cking Tongan's.

Damian Priest is watching the monitor in the back. R-Truth comes up to him. Truth says MFT won't know what hit them when they get the titles back. DP says summer is over and it's time to move on. He says he needs to get back to singles championships but still wants his title back. 

The War Raiders come in. They say the MFT's have to take their beatings now. Truth says DP wants some gold and challenges them to an AAA Tag Title match. DP doesn't want to but Ivar says they can do it in Mexico City and will take them out. Truth accepts the match but DP doesn't want to. Truth says "one more ride". 

Lash Legend and Nia Jax talk to Aldis. Nia says Chelsea Green is cleared and she wants her title match vs her. She says if she doesn't get her title match in 2 weeks, she will take it by force.

The Miz and Kit Wilson come in and are talking normally. Kit says they were lab rats on Nick's watch and says he is toxic. Miz says Nick owes them. Nick says they can fight Nakamura and Kyoki next week. Miz tells Nick to write this down in a notebook Kit has.

Thoughts: I'm glad Kit and Miz are back. Their change in demeanor could use an explanation but why bother since it won't make any sense anyway?

#1 Contender's Match - Gunther vs Kevin Owens vs Finn Balor

Gun hits Finn as he poses on the ropes. Gun then chops KO and KO punches back. KO stomps him in the corner. Gun facekicks him. Finn slingshot sunset flips Gun for 2. Finn is superkicked by KO and KO sentons Gun. KO top rope swantons Gun for 1. 

Finn basement dropkicks KO and Gun chops Finn down. Gun euros Finn down then chops him down. Finn pulls Gun over the top. Gun sleepers Finn and Gun sends him out. Finn tope con hilos Gun. We go to PiP break and return. 

Gun facekicks Finn and KO. KO gets hit with a pele kick and all 3 men are down. KO hits corner attacks on his opponents. Finn slingblades KO. Finn john woo's KO. Gunn lariats KO then chops Finn down from the buckles. Gun grounded sleepers KO. Finn top rope double stomps KO. 

Gun takes an elbow slice from Finn. Finn basement dropkicks Gun into the buckles. Finn top rope double stomps Gun for 2 when Sami Zayn pulls Finn out. Sami throws Finn over the commentary table then punches out the ref. KO stunners Gun but the ref is down. 

Sami then nails the other ref who comes down. CM Punk comes out and fights Sami.Punk sends Sami into the rails and hits punches on him. Sami is sent into the post. Sami runs in the ring and Owens and Punk fight there. Owens lariats Punk. Sami hits Owens with the title. Sami then hits Finn with it. Gunn sleepers Sami and is hit with the title too. Punk then gets hit with it. Sami then holds the title but everyone is down. The show then ends.

Thoughts: They were really rushing here so I knew something was up. I figured Sami was a lock to get involved and he did. They did the best they could here with the circumstances but this didn't even have a finish so it's hard to give it any kind of rating. I'm glad no one took the loss here because no one needed to lose this. I don't really think Sami is wrong for getting involved here since title opportunities are being handed out like candy yet he can't get one.

Overall thoughts: Chelsea Green's tag went fine. The Women's US Title match went better than I expected and I would have liked to have seen how it went with a cleaner finish. Tatum/Michin was fine. We didn't get a finish in the main. It was rushed, there was a lot of interference and they did the best they could with all that went down. The show was fine as a whole but the matches were loaded with interference and the women got 3 of the 4 matches shown. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10.

We see clips of Orton and Cody's feud. 

Sami Zayn complains to Nick Aldis in the back. He says he should be defending the WWE Title out tonight in his home country. He says it's due to Nick. He then complains about Nick wanting him to wrestle with his injured wrist. He asks what business Orton has getting involved when he lost to Cody.

Randy Orton comes in and says to continue. Cody Rhodes then gets on the mic in the ring and calls Orton out. Nick leaves and Sami keeps complaining. Orton then heads to the ring. Nick goes out and tells Cody we aren't doing this right now.  

Randy Orton comes out. Orton says they have a day and time at Sunday Night's Main Event. He says he's beating his @ss in 2 weeks. Cody says what's stopping them from doing it now. Nick says no. Nick says if either of them touches the other one, neither will get a WWE Title shot again. Orton says he won't jeopardize himself "becoming a 15x world heavyweight championship " (yes he said it that way). 

Orton says Cody was about to finish him off last week. He says if Cody swung that chair at him, he couldn't live with himself. Orton said when he did it, he had no regrets. Orton says he knows how to be the worst version of himself. He says Cody is and always will be a good guy. He says he's the American Daydream, not the American Nightmare. Orton says Cody asked who will kill the legend of Randy Orton? He says Cody didn't answer the question as it won't be him. 

Cody says Orton will maybe break the title record but says Orton will still come back to him. He says it's not a prediction but a spoiler.

MFT talk in the back. Tama says he doesn't them talking trash now. Talla says the tag titles belong to them and they dare anyone to step up and challenge them. Tama tells Priest and Truth to come get the titles if they want them. Haku comes in and talks in his language. He says we will show them who the mother f*cking Tongan here.

WWE Tag Titles - MFT (Tama and Talla Tonga) (c) vs Damian Priest vs R-Truth

MFT attack at the start. RT is sent out. Tama hits shots on DP. They trade shots and DP flying forearms him. DP hits him in the corner. The War Raiders watch in the back. Tama back elbows DP then DP facekicks him down. 

RT corner splashes Tama. Talla and Tama get sent out to the floor. RT slingshot plancha's Tama. RT punches Tama. Tama stun gun's him. Tama low lariats him for 1. Tama then hits mounted shots. 

RT is thrown out. We go to PiP break and return. DP ear claps Talla then spinning high kicks him. RP headlock drivers Talla. DP top rope diving lariats Talla for 1. DP and Talla grab each other by the throat. Talla lariats DP down. Talla boots him and foot chokes him in the corner. 

Talla misses a corner charge. Tama blocks DP's tag and DP spinning high kicks him. RT tags in. RT flying shoulderblocks Tama. RT blue thunders Tama. RT then hits a five knuckle shuffle. RT AA's Tama for 2. 

DP lariats Talla over the top. DP jumps off the steps and double axe handles Talla. DP is knocked off the apron and Talla chokeslams DP on the apron. RT rolls up Tama for a close 2. RT hits punches on Tama. Tama swinging neckbreakers him. RT takes a high/low and is pinned.

Thoughts: The finish went as expected with Truth dropping the fall. There was no reason to have MFT lose here. It was fine but nothing too memorable. I have to think this is the end of the Truth/Priest team.

Priest gets in the ring and is mad. He helps Truth up and hugs him. 

CM Punk is interviewed in the back. Punk says he thrives in pressure situations and hostile territories. He says KO is fighting ghosts in his head. He says he has changed while KO hasn't. He says he sees the same guy in KO from 20 years ago. Randy Orton then walks in. Orton says Punk looks good. Punk says after he whoops Cody's @ss, he'll be coming for #15. Punk says he's looking forward to it. 

Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton talk in the back. Green says she will take her out to dinner for what happened last week. Tiff tells her not to come out tonight. Green says hi to Paige. Paige says she should be proud of herself. 

Fatal Influence come in. Jacy says not to take advice from people who don't know how to keep a title. Jacy says it's a matter of time until they take the World Title. Paige says she wants gold and says she could take Jacy's US Title. Tiff has tape on her waist and Jacy says she can wrap tape around it while Jacy wraps gold around hers.

Blake Monroe is interviewed. She says she thinks she is star material and should debut in a title match. She says she will do what she does best and make everyone talk about her.

Blake Monroe vs Giulia

G = Giulia

BM nails G as she makes her entrance. She sends her into the floor and clubs on her. BM stomps on her and boots her. G is sent into the steps. BM headbutts her down and knee lifts her. BM neutralizer's her. BM's music hits and she leaves without this ever officially starting or ending.

Thoughts: Yeah, it wasn't really a match and Giulia just got beaten up here. But hey Giulia didn't lose, she just got jumped.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair talk in the back about getting drinks. Bliss wants to bring Tatum Paxley along. Tatum comes in and says she can't wait to hang out with them. She makes a joke about bloody mary's. Jade Cargill's crew comes in. Jade says Flair needed a freakshow to bail her out of the match. Tatum asks if they will come to brunch with them and asks which one of them is Mary as she needs their blood. Michin challenges Tatum to a match next week. Tatum is excited and says she would love it. Tatum then says Flair defended her.

Trick Williams and Lil Yachty come out. Trick says he has his dog back but not his title back. He says Baron Corbin doesn't want to face him 1v1. He says Baron is bald and walks around like a cue ball. Trick challenges him to come get this trick shot.

Baron Corbin comes out on a motorcycle. Trick says Baron is the one he is looking for and is the one Baron cheated out of the title. Trick challenges him for the title right now. Baron says the title is getting a haircut. He says Trick isn't getting another title shot as he lost. Baron says it's not happening tonight or anywhere. He says Trick and his friend can get out of his face. Yachty hits Baron with the trick stick. Baron goes out.  Baron challenges him for Sunday Night Main Event, but says he wants Lil Yachty for 5 minutes in the ring. He says if he lives, Trick gets his title shot. He says if he beats Yachty, they are done for good. Yachty says Baron is on. Baron says it'll be the longest 5 minutes of his life.

Kevin Owens is interviewed. He says it's great to have a title match here. Finn Balor walks in. Finn says he was glad to see him at Summerslam but says a heads up would have been nice. Gunther walks in. Gunther says tonight's the night he can win the title and get back at Punk in front of his people. Gunther says not to worry about Finn as he's a shadow of himself. He says KO has to worry about him. Finn tells him to worry about winning the WWE Title and says he'll be waiting for him on the other side.

Tiffany Stratton vs Lash Legend

Tiff dropkick her in the knee and the chest. Tiff handspring back elbows her and Lash euros her over. Lash knees her in the gut. Lash slams her for 2. Lash bearhugs her. Lash blocks a sunset flip. Tiff clips her in the knee and backcrackers her. Tiff's tope is caught and Lash rams her back into the post. 

We go to break and return. Tiff hits forearms and Lash forearms her down. Lash suplexes her. Lash misses an elbow drop. Tiff hits lariats and hurricanrana's her into the buckles. Tiff handspring stunner her. Tiff misses a top rope swanton. Tiff crucifixes her for 2. 

Tiff is crotched on a double jump moonsault attempt. Lash hits a lash extension and pins her.

Thoughts: Big upset here. It made sense as Tiff flipped around, Lash caught her and slammed her. It was acceptable enough.

Nia legdrops Tiff after. Tiff takes a sandwich bodyblock. Chelsea Green comes out with a kendo stick. She hits Lash and Nia and sends them out. 

Shinsuke Nakamura does a promo. He says he warmed MFT for weeks and they didn't listen. He says what's in the dark has finally come to light. We then see Hiromu Takahashi who says he is now Kyoki. He says he traveled the world and has come to WWE. He says the stronger they are, the more fun he has. Nakamura says Kyoki doesn't fear gold but enjoys it. Kyoki says he wants more gold and madness. Nakamura says MFT has championships for now. He says there will be an explosion when strong style and madness collide.

Thoughts: I'm not a big Kyoki/Hiromu Takahashi fan. He doesn't seem like a WWE guy at all and I don't expect this to work.

WWE World Title - CM Punk (c) vs Kevin Owens

They hockey fight to start. KO gets the edge on him and running lariats him. KO lariats him over the top. KO lays him on the top rope and punches him. KO chops him.

KO sentons Punk in the ring. Punk counters a stunner with a neckbreaker. We go to PiP break and return. KO hits punches and chops. KO drops him with a lariat. 

KO hits punches on Punk and stomps him. KO lariats him outside. KO corner cannonballs him for 2. KO superkicks him outside. KO then splashes him from the rail through the commentary table. KO top rope swantons him inside for 2. 

Punk hits kicks on him and high kicks him for 2. KO step up knees him in the corner and corner lariats him. KO top rope elbow drops him for 2. Punk puts him in the anaconda vice. Punk swinging neckbreakers him twice. 

KO blocks a go to sleep and sharpshooters him. Punk pulls KO's throat down over the top rope. KO and Punk both get pushed into the ref and the ref goes out. KO stunners Punk but the ref is out. Punk hits a GTS on KO for 2. Punk goes for the pin but the ref is out. 

Sami Zayn comes out as Punk tries to get the ref in. Sami sends Punk into the post. Sami throws Punk in. KO stunners Punk for a close 2. Sami slides the title in the ring for KO. Sami begs KO to use it on Punk. KO says no and gives him the belt back. Sami hits KO with the belt. Punk hits a GTS on KO and pins him.

Thoughts: I always hate when they do Owens face runs. He always gets booking situations like this where he does things that goes against the character like refusing to use the title on Punk. It was a good match otherwise. KO really brought the fight to Punk and worked hard. They had a nice pace and it was an exciting bout. I thought this was good.

Sami then hits Punk from behind with the title after. Sami then hits Owens and Punk with it again. Sami says Punk stole the title from him. He then raises it. 

Overall thoughts: The WWE Tag Title match was fine. Blake beat up Giulia and it never started. Lash Legend beat Tiffany Stratton in an upset. I thought the main was good. It was an alright show overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10. The main event is maybe worth checking out here.

We are in Boston, MA. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary. 

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Nick Aldis is in the ring. He says Chelsea Green suffered a broken orbital bone. Green comes out and it's all purple around her eye. Nick says he can't let her compete with a broken eye socket. Green tells him not to say it and says she can compete. Nick says he hates this part of his job, but it's his job. He tells her that he needs her to relinquish the title. 

Green says she knew it was too good to be true. She says every time something good happen to her, it is followed by something devastating. She says that's just her story. She says she's just the comic relief, the girl who takes the fall for other girls. She says she's never the champ and never the QB1. 

Green talks about all the stunts she's done and all the sacrifices she made. She says she told herself it was all worth it because this moment would come. She says Nick should understand this after Summerslam. Nick says it's not the same but she says it is. 

Green says they proved it doesn't matter what they think about us, it's what we think about us. Green says Nick and his wife was a champ. Green says this is her title until someone takes it off of her. She says she thought Nick of all people would understand that.  

Green gives the title to Nick and walks off. Nick tells her to wait. Nick says he's doing the right thing as the GM, but says as Nick Aldis the man, he doesn't give a d@mn what medical says. He says he will give her 30 days to get cleared, get a face mask and do what she has to do. He says until someone takes this from her, it's hers. Green then holds up the title.

Gunther's music then hits and he comes out to interrupt. Gun calls this another bad sob story. He says let's put our attention on important things. Gun asks Nick why he pulled that stunt on him at Summerslam. Nick says they can discuss this in his office like men. Gun asks Green what she did at Summerslam and mocks her for getting injured. 

Gun says he pulled double duty at Summerslam and made a man tap out in front of his family. He asks why Nick added Kevin Owens to his match. Kevin says he didn't do that but added Gun to Kevin's match. Nick says he was negotiating for months and says sorry Gun didn't get the job done. Green says that was a good one and Gun tells her to shut up. Green tells him to have his temper tantrum and stroke his ego. She says that's all he has after Summerslam. Green says she only sees one champ and it's her. 

Matt Cardona, Green's husband, then runs down and gets in Gun's face. Gun says, "all the way from catering to the rescue". Gun says there's nothing Matt can do to him. Green goes to leave and Gun says it's like a dog listening to his owner. Matt then pounds on Gun and gets him out of the ring. Refs then come out and we go to break.

Thoughts: It's too bad Gun had to come out because that was one of the best segments Green had ever done. They really had a nice moment there and ruined it for cheap Gunther heat.

Gunther vs Matt Cardona

This started during the break. Gun chops Matt down. Matt hits forearms on Gun and Gun chops him down. Matt forearms him and knee chokes him in the corner. Matt dropkicks Gun through the ropes and Matt is rammed into the rails. Gun backdrops him on the rail top. Gun powerbombs Matt on the commentary table then powerbombs him on the apron.

Gun short arm lariats Matt. Gun backdrops him. Chelsea Green yells at Gun and gets on the apron. Matt low blows gun and hits a leg lariat on him for 2. Matt tries it again and is powerbombed. Gun powerbombs him again and crabs him. Matt submits.

Thoughts: Gun won as expected. We could have had some fun and had Matt win, but nope. It was a shorter bout and Gun was in control of this for the most part before winning. I could have done without some of the powerbombs as Gun hit 4 of them here.

Lash Legend and Nia Jax come out. Nia says Green is injured less than a week into her reign. Nia says she got screwed at Summerslam and she want's the WWE Women's Title. Nia says if Green doesn't give her what she wants, she doesn't mind breaking faces around here. Tiffany Stratton comes out and hits Lash and Nia. Nia and Lash get control over her. Tiff is forearmed down then Nia legdrops Tiff.  The heels leave as Tiff is left laying.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair talk. Flair thanks Bliss for helping out Friday and Bliss credits Tatum for it. Bliss says she likes Tatum and says Flair should be nice about the surprise Tatum has. They open a door and Tatum has candles and photos all over the wall. Bliss tries to get Flair in and Flair is spooked as she sees a collage of herself on the walls. They then shut the door.

Cody Rhodes talks to Nick Aldis in the back. He wants the match with Orton set up. Nick offers a match at Sunday Night's Main Event with Orton and Cody takes it. 

Sami Zayn comes in. He says Cody wants something and Nick is ready to move heaven and earth for it. He says when he wants a match, he has to wrestle a 4-way with a broken hand. Cody says he used to let Sami do this. He says he doesn't owe Sami anything and tells him to do something about it. Sami says the last time they were in the ring, he did something nobody else was able to do. He says he pinned Cody clean in the ring for the title. Cody asks if he thinks he can do it again. Cody then says tonight. Sami complains that Cody is challenging him when he can't go. Nick asks if he can't or won't. Nick says if Sami beats Cody tonight, he can face the winner of Punk vs Owens. Sami says he's hurt. Nick tells him to make that choice.

WWE United States Title - Baron Corbin (c) vs Carmelo Hayes

Baron drives in on a motorcycle.

Melo tope con hilos Baron before he gets in and pounds on him. Melo dropkicks him in the ring. Melo hits forearms. Melo chops him in the corner and hits mounted corner punches. Melo step up enzugiri's him then springboard twisting crossbodies him. 

Melo is caught coming off the top. Melo pulls Baron over the top rope. Melo then blind springboard legdrops him over the back of the neck over the 2nd rope. Baron blocks a first 48 and powerbombs him. Baron boots him out of the ring and sends him into the rails.

Melo's head is banged off the post. Melo is then sent over the timekeeper's rail. We go to PiP break and return. Melo hits forearms. Baron pulls him into the buckles then lariats him down on the rebound. Baron is pushed into the buckles. Melo boots him while he's down and blind springboard diving ddt's him for 2. Melo top rope frogsplashes him for 2. 

Baron flips Melo with a facekick. Melo toyota roll sunset flips him. Baron hits deep six for 2. Melo hits first 48 twice. Melo goes up top and is pushed down to the floor. Baron hits an end of days and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an alright match here. It had some nice action and Melo was jumping all around here. They also sold me on the idea that Melo maybe could pull it off, so this worked. 

Baron poses with the title. Trick appears on his spinning stand in the entrance area. Lil Yachty then appears behind Baron and hits him with a kendo stick. Baron grabs it and tries to hit him with it. Trick flying pumping knees Baron and sends him out.

Chelsea Green thanks Tiffany Stratton in the back. She says she didn't want her to get injured before her title match. Tiff says she's fine and will compete tonight.  

Kevin Owens comes out. CM Punk comes out before he says anything. Punk says whatever KO was going to say was going to concern him. He tells him to say it to his face. KO says Punk had his back turned to him when he called him a fat slob last week. KO said they wrestled for the same indy 15 years ago. He says Punk was the top guy and he was the guy trying to make a name for himself. He says Punk insulted him and screamed at him. Punk asks if he's been holding onto that for 20 years and if that was the problem this whole time.

KO says it's not just that but the things he did and said and the way he treated his friends. KO says all his friends hate Punk. Punk says being hated by losers is the price he pays by not being one of them. 

KO says he hates him as everything he does and says is performative. He says Punk is a phony. He says Punk came back to make things right because he had no choice. He says he doesn't respect people like him. KO says he did well for himself, main evented everywhere and became Universal champ. He says he also main evented Wrestlemania against Steve Austin, which Punk will never get to do. 

Punk congratulates him. Punk says he was happy for him and asks if he thinks he would given this opportunities if he was still here. KO tells him to say why he wouldn't. He tells Punk to say he's a fat indy slob and a fan who is on the wrong side of the guard rail. Punk asks if that is what he thinks of him or what KO thinks of himself.

Punk says he sees a lot of things in him. He says he sees a guy that spears 2 languages and a guy who avoids work and wastes his potential. he says he sees a tough guy who is a bum. Punk says he evolved and says if KO put more work in, maybe he would have avoided that Bill Goldberg spear. 

KO says he doesn't want to be like him. He says he thinks Punk hates what he sees when he goes home. He says he's the same guy Punk screamed at 20 years ago and he's facing him for the title next week. He says Punk couldn't avoid that Roman Reign spear at Mania. 

Punk says he sees someone who is stubborn and loud and sees the same guy he saw 20 year ago. KO asks if it bothers him. KO says he regretted not punching him for 20 years. Punk says there's nothing but air and opportunity and challenges him to do it now. KO says he didn't do it then because he knows Punk would have ruined his career. He says he wouldn't do it now, because next week he doesn't just get to punch him in the face, he gets to beat him for the title after he does it. 

Punk says KO was a greenhorn 20 years who thought he could be disrespectful to him. Punk says he can wait 7 days and says KO will look up to him in Toronto when he puts his fat @ss to sleep.

Thoughts: It was a decent segment here that kept my interest. 

Finn Balor talks to Nick Aldis. He says it would have been nice if Nick gave him a heads up at Summerslam before adding Gunther and Owens to the match. Gunther comes in and complains about Nick making him wrestle in street clothes. Nick says Gunther is interrupting him in a conversation with Finn. Gun says he doesn't see Finn. He says he sees the shadow of Finn. Finn says he's tired of his act. Finn says he told Nick he'd do whatever it takes to get another title shot. He says he'll beat his @ss if it means going through him. Nick seems to like the idea.

WWE Tag Titles - Damian Priest and R-Truth (c) vs The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) vs MFT (Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga)

Haku is with MFT.

All 6 men fight. We get some fighting outside. The Raiders and MFT fight out there. DP walks up the ropes with Truth's help and springboard crossbodies them all. We go to break and return. 

Tama is thrown out by Truth. DP high kicks Ivar from the apron the nhits shots on Erik. DP flying back elbows Ivar and Erik in the corners. DP lifting flatliners Ivar. Ivar sits up top. Talla chokeslams Truth and DP down as they stand on the 2nd rope. Ivar flip dives DP off the top. 

Tama headbutts Erik in the chest. Tama is popped up into a powerslam for 2. Talla lariats Ivar down then lariats Erik down. Talla powerslams Truth. Talla is double kicked and double pounded on. Talla is double suplexed. 

Truth STF's Talla. Erik overhead suplexes DP. Erik knee's Truth in the back of the head off a full nelson. DP foot presses Erik down. DP spin kicks Erik in the head twice. DP is popped up outside and powerslammed through the timekeepers rail. Tama pushes Erik over the commentary table. 

Truth flying shoulderblocks Tama then blue thunders him. Truth five knuckle shuffles Tama. Truth is pushed into Erik. Truth takes an assisted powerbomb and Tama pins Truth.

Thoughts: Kind of an upset here though MFT should have won to gain credibility. It had a lot of action and was a bit wild here. The pop-up powerslam spot on Priest through the rails was pretty cool. Truth was in full on Cena mode here at the end. I'm interested to see where things go with these teams now.

WWE United States Women's Title - Tiffany Stratton (c) vs Jacy Jayne

JJ hits corner spears on her and backsplashes her in the corner. JJ sentons her. JJ bodyscissors her. JJ misses a senton. JJ is tripped into the ropes and Tiff hip attacks her there. TIff basement dropkicks her for 2. 

Tiff spinning lariats her and JJ goes out. Fatal Influence interrupt Tiff. JJ backcrackers Tiff. We go to PiP break and return. Tiff is down on the floor and JJ hits her. Chelsea Green checks on Tiff. JJ gets in Green's face. Tiff rolls up JJ in the ring for 2. Tiff and JJ spinning facebuster each other. 

Tiff hits punches and lariats. Tiff spinning back elbows her. Tiff alabama slams her. Tiff top rope swantons JJ for 2. JJ superkicks Tiff. Tiff rolls her up for 2. Tiff handspring stunners JJ. Tiff finlay rolls JJ. Tiff triple jump moonsaults but JJ gets her knees up. 

JJ dropkicks her and gets punted. Tiff goes up top, Fatal Influence go up to Green and Tiff plancha's Fatal Influence. JJ spinning forearms Tiff in the ring and pins her. 

Thoughts: Big upset here with Jacy beating Tiff. It was kind of dumb to have Tiff win it just to lose it so quick. Fatal Influence now has 2 sets of titles and all 3 of them hold gold. I liked what we got here and it as a decent bout. 

Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab are interviewed. Jade says these women can't mind their business around here. She says to line them all up like Bliss and Tatum. Fab says they found another victim and they are looking forward to giving Tatum a proper welcome on their show.

Cody Rhodes vs Sami Zayn

Rany Orton attacks Cody from behind as Sami makes his entrance. Orton sends Cody into the post shoulder first. Orton bridging ddt's Cody. Orton goes for an RKO and grabs Cody by the face. Orton throws Cody out. 

Cody's head is banged off the steps. Orton hits Cody in the head with the steps and sends him over the rail. Sami complains to the ref. Cody hits Orton with a soda. Cody punches Orton and hits him in the crowd.

Cody hits Orton with a garbage can and sends him into a rail. They go back to ringside. Cody's head is banged off the commentary table then Orton punches him on it. Cody low blows Orton on the commentary table when his head in the "V in the steps. Cody hits Orton with a chair. Cody goes for a chair shot while Orton's head in in the "V" in the stairs and the chair is pulled away from Cody. Officials hold Cody back and Cody goes for Orton again to close the show.   

Overall thoughts: We had a lot happen on this one and it was a better show than usual. We had 2 title changes and a good opening segment with Green. Gunther/Cardona was a bit one sided and short. Baron/Melo was alright. Punk and Owens had a good segment. MFT won the tag titles in a action packed 3-way. Jacy beat Tiff in an upset in an okay bout and we didn't get the main event, but we did get Orton and Cody fighting it out. I'd give it a higher 6 out of 10 as it was an okay show overall. I liked this.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Cody Rhodes comes out to talk. He asks for Randy Orton to come out and says they should fight now. Cody then asks the crowd what they want to talk about. He talks about his 2026 so far. He says he didn't know Orton would RKO him at Summerslam.

CM Punk comes out. Punk asks Cody if he wants to ask him anything. Cody asks Punk if he knew Orton would get involved. Punk says he didn't know and says he's p!ssed about it. Punk says they can find Orton together, 2 Man Power Trip style, and beat him up. Cody says he guarantees he will find Orton and kick his @ss himself. Cody then leaves to let Punk talk. Punk tells Cody to say when about their unfinished business.

Kevin Owens then comes out. Cody holds his hands open and kind of gives him the mic. KO takes it. KO gets in the ring. Him and Punk have words. Nick Aldis (with a black eye) then gets on the apron. KO says him and Punk are pros and says not to worry about it. Punk asks if KO is here to claim his title shot. KO says he does want to wrestle and that's all he wanted to do for the last 17 months. He says he didn't want to leave but was forced to. He says he proved people wrong his entire career and now he's here.

KO says Punk is proving him right. He says people told him to give Punk a second chance. He says he never bought it. He says he knows who Punk is and Punk is proving it. KO says he's offering Punk shots when KO is the #1 contender. He says Punk thinks he's better than everyone and says it proves Punk is still the same arrogant sociopath. 

Punk says some people love his arrogance. Punk says his title proves he's the best in the world. He says if anyone benefited from his arrogance, it's KO. Punk says this place called him "skinny fat" and asks if he thinks this place was waiting fro KO. KO says he hasn't been champ for 10 years. He says he never guessed something would happen to make this even better. He says now, he doesn't just get to win the title, but he gets to humble Punk and beat him for it. Punk says it's goo to have impossible dreams. 

Punk says he needs to show gratitude as KO wouldn't be here without him. Punk says he knows he's the best in the world and so do the fans. Punk says to look at KO. KO says he should be grateful and should thank him. He says he should also thank him for showing him what not to do and how not to treat people. KO says he must be so lonely on his own pedestal. He says seeing what he has become, made him not turn into a miserable piece of sh!t like him. Officials get in the ring and KO shoves Punk. 

Charlotte Flair is interviewed. Flair says her and Jade have been having issues for 3 years. She says she's not fighting for the top spot, she's fighting for Alexa Bliss. She says Jade has her attention and she's going to kick her @ss in her spotlight. Flair then challenges her to come fight her alone tonight.

Trick Wiliams talks in the back. He says he's getting his rematch vs Baron Corbin. Trick says Baron only got his title as he hit him in the head with it. Trick says they both know Baron can't beat him. He says he will beat Baron down tonight. He says Philly will whoop that trick and he will whoop that @ss.

Baron rides out on a motorcycle. 

BC takes him down and knees him in the gut. Trick flying lariats him. Trick chops him against the rails then sends him into the post. Trick chops him against the post and sends him into and over the rails. Trick flying crossbodies him over the timekeeper's rail. 

We go to our first break and return. BC boots him in the gut and lariats him down. BC hits punches on Trick. Trick hits leg lariats and flapjacks BC. Trick backhands him and stomps him in the corner. Trick cradle shocks him for 2. Trick spinning facekicks him. 

BC spinning backdrops him for 2. They trade shots on their knees. Trick jumping neckbreakers him. Trick lariats him over the top rope. BC rams Trick's back into the post and hits forearms there. 

BC and the ref tug of war over the US Title. Trick uranage's BC for 2. Trick flying pumping knees him for 2 when BC has his hand on the ropes. Baron goes out and hits Trick in the head with the title. Baron then pins him.

Thoughts: I was really surprised to see Trick losing again here. They are really testing him by doing that. It was acceptable overall but not much else.

Nick Aldis talks to Sami Zayn. Sami congratulates him on his Summerslam match. He says he cried when Nick's kid hugged him in the ring. Sami asks if Nick will congratulate him about Summerslam. Sami then goes off about Nick screwing him. He says it's hard to believe Nick didn't add Kevin Owens to the match to screw him. Kevin Owens walks in. Kevin tells Nick he wants his title match in Toronto. Nick says he will make some calls.

Sami says welcome back and says no one is happier he's back. KO doesn't think he's sincere. Sami says KO's return screwed him 100% and came at his expense. KO agrees. Sami asks if he can apologize. KO says he's sorry it affected him but says Sami would do the same. KO says he won in his last match and beat Sami in a #1 contender's match. 

Sami says he wants to see him be champ more than CM Punk. He tells him to let him know if he wants him to do anything to make it happen. KO says he will do it on his own. Sami says it's fine and says don't think Sami won't chase what he wants because it's what KO wants.

Baron Corbin is in the back. Cathy Kelly says he got 2 upsets over Trick. Baron asks if she's kidding and asks if he's the underdog. He asks her to explain how he's the underdog. He says he hopes everyone who doubted him feels stupid now. He says he said he would take the title and he did. He says Trick will never get his hands on the title again. He says no one in the locker room can step to him. Carmelo Hayes then appears and attacks him. He says he talked to Nick Aldis and they are fighting for the US Title next week.

Chelsea Green comes out and has a celebration party set up in the ring. Green says she loves the fans for sticking with her and pledging their allegiance. Green says they are huge part of why she walked out of Summerslam as the new Women's champ. She thanks Tiffany Stratton too and brings her out. 

Green says she's sorry for what happened at Summerslam but says their friendship is stronger than that. Green says she wants to make a toast to strong female friendship. 

Fatal Influence interrupt. Jacy says she would have been champ and in the ladder match if it wasn't for Tiff. Reid says they would have all been draped in gold. Fallon says Green thinks she deserves the title. Jacy says Tiff has given her no choice but to take the thing she likes the most. She says she wants to take the US Title off of her and she will be "Tiffy No Titles". Tiff says she will give her a title match if they get a tag title match right now. Fatal Influence thinks it over and says they accept. Jacy tells Nick to bring a ref out now.

WWE Women's Tag Titles - Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley) (c) vs Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green

LR pulls Green down of the lock up. Green slides out. Green and LR miss moves inside. Green sliding flatliners LR. Green double flying knees LR. Tiff corner splashes LR. LR codebreakers Tiff but Tiff no sells it, backflips and basement dropkicks her.

Fallon hits Tiff in the corner then house call kicks her. Tiff handspring stunners Fallon. Tiff and Green hit stereo hip attacks on the 2nd rope. They then hit stereo topes outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Green germans LR. Tiff hits lariats on LR and spinning back elbows her. Tiff cartwheels into a spinebuster on LR. Tiff top rope swantons LR. Fallon is pulled over the top to the floor.

LR enzugiri's Green from the apron. Green throws her off the top. Green cutters Fallon. Jacy spinning forearms Green over the bottom rope and Tiff takes a baseball slide. Green takes the fatal flaw (a coriolis) and Green is pinned.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. Nothing too great, but no one botched and it went about as well as it was going to. There was no real reason to suspect Green and Tiff were winning here.

Nia Jax and Lash Legend attack Tiff and Green after. 

Damian Priest is interviewed. He complains about The MFT's. The War Raiders come in. Erik says they've been chasing them for a title shot. Ivar says they will be double champs. R-Truth comes in and says they aren't scared of luchadores or The Legion of Doom. Truth says he talked to Aldis and they will face The War Raiders and The MFT's next week. Priest asks if Nick mentioned the AAA Tag Titles and Truth says no. Priest says, "how convenient".

We get a video on Brock Lesnar's career.

Randy Orton comes out to talk. Cody Rhodes comes out before Orton even gets a word out. Cody heads in the ring and Orton slides out. Cody asks what he's waiting for and tells him to get in the ring right now. Officials come out and get between them. Cody says he knows Orton doesn't mention to anyone and says Orton owes him an explanation. 

Orton says he doesn't owe him anything. He says Cody asked for the best version of himself. He says he gave him it and Cody beat him. He says his voices told him to kick him in the face as hard as he could. He says the worst version of Orton can get him title #15. He says he won't take it from Cody as he will do everything he can to make sure Cody is never a champ again.

Cody says what about the worst version of himself? He says he doesn't need to be the good guy anymore. He says Orton used to be the legend killer but he's the last legend in the WWE. He asks who will kill him?

Sami Zayn complains to Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano in the back. Sami says he's jealous of Kevin Owens as he gets to tell Punk what a fraud he is. CM Punk comes in. Punk asks if they are still doing this. Punk says Sami has a big mouth when he's not around. He says he knows Owens is jealous, but he can say it to his face. Sami says he's a fraud and his days are numbered. Sami says he'd break his face if his hand wasn't broken. 

Punk says he would have in Chicago but he lost. He says Sami is in the back of the link. Punk says he'd give LeRae or Gargano a shot before him. Sami asks Gargano how he will let him to talk to them about that.

Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab talk in the back. Cathy tries to interview them. Fab says they don't care about what Charlotte has to say. Mich says Flair is jealous of Jade. Jade it's business as usual and she will end this by kicking some @ss.

Nikki Bella does a video. She says she tried hard to be supportive and made an unselfish move. She says she revitalized Paige's career and she repaid her by losing the tag titles. Nikki says Brie deserved better. She says Paige failed them. She says Brie is hurt because of Paige. She says she will make sure the rest of Paige's career will be pure misery.

Shinsuke Nakamura does a video. He says The MFT's think they evolved and needs to remember who they are. Nakamura says they need to remember who he is - the king of strong style and Shinsuke Nakamura. He says he's back and this time, he will not be alone. He says he's starting a war and is no longer a one man army. He says he and someone else will make it clear who are warriors and just pawns. He says they are running out of time.

Charlotte Flair vs Jade Cargill

They lock up and back each other up in the corner. Flair monkey flips her and rolls her out of the ring. Jade shoulders her over. Jade poses, Flair kips up and poses. Flair clips her from behind and shoulders her over. Flair headscissors rolls her on the mat. They go outside with it and Flair's head is banged off the commentary table. Flair is thrown over the rail.

We go to PiP break and return. Jade misses a back elbow in the corner and takes a german. Flair upkicks her. They trade forearms. Flair chops her and lariats her down. Flair goes for a forward handspring and is pump kicked by Jade. Flair boots her from the apron. Flair top rope crossbodies her but Jade rolls through for 2. They bridge up together. Jade knees her in the gut and superkicks her.

Jade spinning sitout rack bombs her for 2. Flair goes for a handstand hurricanrana in the corner. Jade catches her and 2nd rope sitout powerbombs her for 2. They slap each other. Jade misses a pump kick and is clipped in the leg. Flair boots her in the face. Flair figure eight's her. 

Michin and B-Fab interfere and Flair loses the hold. Alexa Bliss comes out with her arm in a brace. She then shows her doll Lily. Bliss makes the lights go out. Tatum Paxley then appears on the top rope and crossbodies Mich and Fab outside. Tatum hugs Alexa. Jade and Flair botch a powerbomb escape. Flair hits a sister abigail on her then hits like a bad diving natural selection off the top to win.

Thoughts: We haven't seen Tatum around NXT for a few weeks. It's good for her to finally get called up. The match had some highs and lows here and got a little sloppier towards the end. It was a borderline alright match at times but then got worse. I'm curious how they handle Tatum/Bliss/Flair as group.

Overall thoughts: We had a lot going on here on this one non-wrestling wise and a lot of average matches in the ring that brought this down some. We also had an ad-free first 30 minutes. I'm not sure that there was a match of the night here. They did do a nice job of setting things up for future weeks though and had lots of stars interacting. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the wrestling could have been a bit better here. It was average.
