Zack Sabre Jr. vs Virus

1st Fall - They shake hands and Zack cleanbreaks him. Virus then returns the favor. Zack twists the foot and they roll before getting back up. Zack blocks an armdrag and virus splits his legs. Zack pulls him off by the gut. Zack bridges and escapes out of a wristlock.

They trade straightjacket chokes. Zack bridges out and slides through the legs to escape. Zack headsicsors him and virus headstands out. They roll on the mat and stand off. Zack hip throws him and armbars him off of it. Virus snapmares him and pulls back on the arms. Zack is rolled up off a missed corner charge and Virus la magistrals him.

Virus does a nice arm and leg hold with a headscissors and submits him to win the first fall.

2nd Fall - Zack takes him down and euros him. Zack spanks his butt at the crowd. Zack splits his fingers. Zack hammerlocks his arm with his leg and twists it. Zack ties up both arms then Virus pulls both of Zack's arms back. Zack rolls him by the arm and does a bow and arrow style hold with his arm and leg and taps him out to win the fall.

3rd Fall - Zack pulls on Virus' fingers and gets a culero chant. Zack euros him down. Virus knee drops the arm then Zack stomps it. Zack bangs Virus' arm off his shoulder then Virus does it to him. Virus cranks the arm back.

They trade shots and Virus kicks him low in front of the ref. Zack flips him over the ropes and Virus rolls him into a crucifix. Zack rolls him up for 2. They trade pin attempts and chest slaps. Zack throws him down and bridge pins him to win the match.

Thoughts: It was all technical wrestling as expected and was a good match. There was little here but limb work, pin attempts and submissions.

Templario vs Hiromu Takahashi

1st Fall - HT goes for an armbar and Temp armdrags him. Temp ties his legs up then sideheadlocks him. HT side headlocks him and Temp ends up doing a spinarooni to get up. Temp flying headscissors him out then topes him outside. HT does his own figure four variation and seemingly taps him out in a dumb end to the first fall.

2nd Fall - HT bangs Temp's leg off the post. HT hits chops then Temp shotgun dropkicks him. Temp boots him then hits wasteland. Temp ties up his arm and texas cloverleafs his leg. Temp gets the submission win.

3rd Fall - They slap each other then chop each other. HT chops him down and Temp hits a bunch of forearms. Temp flips over his back then HT hits a falcon arrow for 2. Temp corner lariats him then superkicks him. HT superkicks him then takes a pumping knee. HT lariats him.

Temp is trippled into the bottom buckle then takes a wheelbarrow german. Temp goes up on the buckles and takes a sitout powerbomb. Temp sitout gordbusters him for 2. Temp gets on the buckles and is chopped. HT 2nd rope attitude adjustments him for 2. They lariat each other. HT superkicks him.

Temp pop-up sitout powerbombs him then powerbombs him on his knees. Temp then picks up the win.

Thoughts: These two usually do way too much. This was surprisingly tame here and no one did anything too crazy during this one. I did somewhat like it which surprised me. 

Mascara Dorada and Mistico vs Rocky Romero and Taiji Ishimori

1st Fall - RR backs up Mist on the ropes. TI tries to rip Mist's mask and hits punches. RR beats up Mist on the ramp. RR poses then pop-up drops MD. Mist is stomped on by both opponents. RR hits corner lariats on Mist then TI pins Mist. RR armbars MD and submits him to win the fall.

2nd Fall - Mist is double teamed then tripped into a baseball slide. MD is chopped down then RR suplexes him. TI and RR do elbow drops on Mist. RR rips at Mist's mask and Mist takes shots from both opponents. Mist is double choked in the corner then is bitten on by both opponents.

Mist handspring back elbows TI. MD top rope tornillo armdrags RR. The heels stupidly kick the faces in the crotch in front of the ref and are DQ'd. Mist and MD win the fall. 

3rd Fall - The faces get their masks untied. Mist is dropped head first on the apron and I think MD is sent into the wall. Mist makes his come back after a while, hitting a flying headscissors. He then walks up the buckles and armdrags TI down. The heels then avoid topes outside. Mist armdrags Ti off a failed double team. He superkicks Ti then corkscrew headscissors RR. Mist then topes RR. MD then top rope con hilos both opponents outside. MD top rope ssp's TI and pins him. Mist hits la mistica on RR and submits him to win.

Thoughts: I didn't think it was anything special. The heels getting DQ'd in the second fall was dumb and the faces didn't get much in outside of the third fall.

Overall thoughts: I liked the Zack/Virus match. HT vs Temp wasn't too bad but the main was a lazy effort. It was about average overall with Zack/Virus being the best match.

Eric Bischoff, Mongo McMichael and Bobby Heenan are our hosts. They promise footage from last night's Halloween Havoc show. Mongo's dog is dressed up like a witch. Eric says the picture will speak volumes. Heenan says he can't believe what happened last night. Mongo says last's night show was awesome and something people have never seen before. 

Sgt. Craig Pittman vs Eddie Guerrero

They said Macho Man was supposed to be in this but he is out from Lex and The Dungeon of Doom attacking him last night. Sarge does a nice uranage to start. Eddie is thrown off a double leg attempt. Eddie then does something like a uranage on him.

Sarge drops him with a punch and bangs Eddie's head off the buckles. Sarge hits more shots and Eddie uppercuts him. Eddie leg lariats him for 2. Sarge hits a nice lariat and euros him. Eddie bangs Sarge's head off the buckles and misses a charge. Sarge wraps Eddie's arm around the ropes and armlocks him. Sarge overhead belly to belly suplexes him.

They say they are waiting for the footage of the PPV to arrive. Eddie enzugiri's him in the back then springboard twisting crossbodies him for 2. Sarge then hits a nice belly to belly suplex. Sarge gutwrench bombs him then Eddie rolls him up out of nowhere and wins.

Thoughts: I liked this one. Sarge's offense looked really good and rough here. Eddie didn't get a ton in but got the win so it worked out in the end.

Shark vs Scott Norton

They had fought in the locker room I think on Nitro and they set this up off of it. Scott doesn't look happy and they immediately lock up. Shark hits shots to the gut and head. Shark hits a nice belly to belly suplex.

Shark elbow drops him for 2. Scott hits running lariats then flying shoulders him off the top rope. Scott slams Shark for 2. Heenan has left commentary for this and Mongo thinks he had to go to the bathroom. They lariat each other down then we see Heenan dining with Sonny Ono. Scott elbows Shark off the apron and hits shots outside. Shark fires back and sends him into the post.

Scott bangs Shark off the rails and they continue to fight, going to a double contout. They keep fighting in the aisle and Shark's head is banged off the steel WCW letters. Both head to the back.

Thoughts: It was basically a warm-up for a likely rematch down the line. It was fine for what it was but a finish would have been nice. 

Heenan is with Ono again. He talks about some of the shows he has done. Ono shakes his hand and gives him an envelope. They then toast.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and shows us screencaps of the Flair/Sting vs Arn/Pillman match. We then see Flair turn on Sting and we see Sting get triple teamed.

Tony interviews The Four Horsemen. Pillman says Sting fighting for his life was a thing of beauty. He says some people calls them a gang or a militia but he calls it a dynasty. Arn says everyone asked him when he would bring The Horsemen back and he said be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Arn says Sting was more man than they ever thought by fighting The Horsemen 1v2 for 10 minutes. Arn says there's now three Horsemen and soon there will be four. Flair says they're back and says to learn to love it.

Flair says they will tell Sting what he wants to hear and do what they want to do. Flair says The Horsemen will be in town next week if he doesn't like it.

Thoughts: It was a good interview though if you were hoping for a reason as to why they had to turn on Sting to reunite, you didn't get it here.

Sabu vs Disco Inferno

This sounds so fun on paper and Disco's likely going to get the whooping he's been begging for. Disco evades Sabu and dances. Sabu drops him with a punch then springboard leg lariats him. Sabu springboard dropkicks him.

Disco gets chopped and facebusters Sabu. Disco hair throws him and lariats him. Disco chokes him on the ropes and rebounds him off the ropes. Sabu uppercuts him. Disco misses a splash and Sabu slingshot flipping legdrops him to win it.

Thoughts: It was what it should have been with Disco getting cheapshots in to survive and being annoying. Sabu then won as expected.

Sabu plancha's Disco outside after. Sabu grabs a table and throws it at Disco. Sabu tries to slingshot Disco through the table but Disco moves and Sabu splats on it. Sabu doesn't break it though so that hurt. Sabu then throws steps after. Heenan says to get him a hard hat. 

Lex Luger and Meng vs The American Males

Meng has rare gold tights here. Heenan says The Males spray cologne on people at department stores for their day job. Meng hits shots on Riggs in the corner and we go to break.

We return and Riggs works Lex's arm. Bagwell legdrops Lex's arm. Riggs armwringers the arm. Riggs hits punches on Lex then dropkicks him. Riggs back body drops him. Riggs takes a stiff hart attack from Meng and Lex.

Riggs gets his throat dropped over the top rope. Meng hits a stiff lariat on Riggs. Meng backbreakers Riggs. Lex 2nd rope double axe handles Meng. Riggs sunset flips Lex for 2 then is ran over with a lariat.

Meng chops Riggs over and gets a pop. Meng slams him and misses a rare flipping senton.

Riggs flips out of a backdrop and gets Bagwell in. Bagwell forearms and lariats Lex. Bagwell back body drops him. Lex catches his crossbody but Riggs dropkicks him over. Jimmy Hart distracts the ref and Meng kicks Riggs in the back of the head. Lex racks Riggs and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here with the faces getting a hope spot or two before being put down. Lex and Meng were a decent big guy team. The ref distraction spot could have been done better as it took long.

Mongo says trick or treat and Eric gives him a snicker's bar. Heenan doesn't have anything and Mongo sprays Heenan with silly string in a mean act.

The footage of the Hulk/Giant match finally arrives. They shockingly re-aired The Yeti's run-in even though it was awful.

The Giant, Lex Luger, Jimmy Hart and The Taskmaster are in the ring. The Giant has the WCW Title. Tony Schiavone says that is not his belt and he did not win the World Title last night. Hart says the whole word wants to know why he turned his back on Hulk. He says maybe you'll read about it in his new book or maybe he'll tell you on next week's Nitro. He says Task told Hulk that evil was living in his heart and says he's the evil.

Hart says he's the only manager Sullivan ever had in his life. He says he's his past but The Giant and Lex Luger are his future. Lex says Hulk and Macho laid on the mat in crumpled pathetic heaps and calls them garbage. He said Lex called him a vulture and got a piece of him and Giant.

Giant says nobody will knock him off the hill and says he will defend the title against anyone who wants it. Taskmaster said he told Hulk this would happen. He said the cloud of The Dungeon of Doom would fall over him. Taskmaster says Giant is a fighting champ.

Thoughts: Tony said Giant wasn't champ and then they said Giant would defend the belt next week. I know they will eventually explain it (and do a poor job of it) but if you just saw this Nitro, it wouldn't make any sense and was a bad segment because of it. I also don't think they thought out why Lex would want to join with Giant considering Giant has the title he wants. I liked getting a payoff for Taskmaster saying that evil was lurking in Hulk all this time with the evil being Hart.

Overall thoughts: This one showed some of the hazards of Crash TV. We had major happenings at Halloween Havoc, but the explanations and consequences of them didn't make a lot of sense. The Giant is not and cannot be champ right now yet he thinks he is and we got no explanation for why Sting had to be turned on to reform The Horsemen. The wrestling was good here though and I still liked it even if it was a flawed show.

Tadarius Thomas vs Mark Briscoe

They push this as a martial arts matchup with redneck kung-fu vs TD's capoiera. TD ducks a backfist and takes a chop to the throat TD up kicks him then Mark flips out of a back body drop. TD upkicks him and ducks another backfist. They stand off.

TD chest kicks him down. Mark goes up and over then northern lights release suplexes him into the buckles. Mark slingshot asai moonsaults him outside. TD blocks a punch with the top of his head. TD slingblades him then does a swinging up kick. TD kicks him with the heel of his foot then release half-nelson suplexes him.

Mark hits back fists and chops him in the neck. Mark uraken's him. TD handstands on the buckles then forearms him. Mark rolling death valley drivers him then hits a froggy bow off the top to win.

Thoughts: It was an entertaining opener here with them kind of doing some martial arts here. TD had cool upkicks and handstand kicks here and this couldn't have gone much better than it did. These are two of my favorite ROH guys so I wasn't surprised I like this.

Mark bows at him after and runs on the handshake.

Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander talk. They say they get a tag title shot at Red Dragon tonight. CC says they will slay the red dragon. Red Dragon walks in. Fish says the hurricane of irony is getting out of control. He says this won't be their first shot and says they didn't get done what they wanted to get done the last time. Fish says they will end up with a loss in what is the epic tale of Red Dragon. CC says it's better to be silent and thought of as ignorant than to speak and remove all doubts.

Thoughts: I never liked Red Dragon and this hipster technical wrestling gimmick was unusual. 

We get an Adam Cole video where he says that walking way with the ROH Title is all that's on his mind.

Adam Cole comes out to talk. He says being champ is like being a real man. He says a real man says what he wants, does what he wants and gets what he wants. He says he achieved his dream with the gold around his waist. He said he was told to shake hands, smile and show that you are happy to be there to achieve greatness. He says he just showed that he was the best wrestler on the planet instead. He said he wouldn't be champ if he was happy to be here.

He says to get things you've never gotten,  you have to do things you've never done. He calls Jay Briscoe and Michael Elgin two real losers. He said Jay achieved his goal of being champ and said Jay tried to ruin his parade when he won the title. He said Jay should feel lucky that all he did was kick him in the head.

He said him and Elgin were labelled as the future of ROH. He said that was only to mask that they wanted elgin as the poster boy. Michael Elgin comes out. Elgin gets in, Cole slides out and Elgin tells him it's only a matter of time. Jay Briscoe shoes up behind Cole and looks mad. Nigel McGuinness calls for security. Cole drops his title in the ring and Elgin holds it up. Jay then grabs the title from Elgin. They have words and security and refs step in.

Thoughts: I liked this angle and thought Cole provided some solid life advice here.

Larry Mercer hypes up upcoming events. Silas Young says the midwest cities they are going to is lacking a real man. He says Jimmy Jacobs will find out what a real man is. He says Jimmy doesn't look or dress like a man and says he will find out what a man is all about.

There's a Brutal Burgers vs Michael Bennett and Maria intergender tag that I won't be covering here. Maria and Mike got the win.

Mike says he's the one who ended BJ Whitmer's career. He said he dropped him straight on his head. He says that makes him heartless and says people say he doesn't know what he's doing. He says he has the best piledriver in wrestling and says he will show us right now. He goes to piledrive Cheeseburger then Kevin Steen comes out.

Steen says, "liar, liar, pants on fire". He says he doesn't have a problem with him ending BJ's or Cheeseburger's career. He says he has a problem with him spreading lies about having the best piledriver in wrestling. He says let me drop you on your head and we'll see. He said Mike cried like a little b!tch the night he ended BJ's career. Maria slaps Steen then security breaks up the Steen/Mike fight.

Thoughts: It wasn't the best way to do this. Steen goofed around some and made it hard to believe that he really cared. Mike looked about 30 pounds heavier here in muscle than he does in 2024.

Eddie Edwards vs Ricky Marvin is next week. Edwards and Davey Richards do a promo. Davey says other companies try to emulate ROH. He says Steen is a great wrestler but not a friend of theirs. He says Marvin has been around the world but will run into an American brick wall against The American Wolves.

They do a video on the tag titles changing 3 times in 3 weeks. Steve Corino comes out to do commentary. Kevin Kelly and the ref tell him to go. He says this is not a 3 man crew and this needs to stop. Steve then gets in the ring. Nigel comes out. Steve says he's been starved out for 3 months. He says he has a contract and he is the permanent color commentator.

Nigel is on the apron and Steve says now Nigel wants to talk to him. Steve says he's a legend and they owe him money. Steve puts his contract down and tells Nigel to do what's right.

ROH Tag Titles - Red Dragon (c) vs Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Kozlov) vs C&C Wrestle Factory (Cedric Alexander and Caprice Coleman)

RR an Ced go at it. Ced spin kicks him then flying kicks him in the head. Ced flips him from the gutwrench. RR takes a suplex + slingshot swanton from CC. CC dropkicks RR. RR is held in the air for a leg lariat from CC. CC back body drops Alex then Fish hits a surprise lariat on CC.

CC STO's Fish then Ced springboard lariats Fish. Ced dropkicks KOR in the corner. Fish takes a top rope double stomp + an attitude adjustment onto Ced's knees. CC hits elbows to the heads of people then planchas 2 people outside. Alex catches him then Ced tope con hilos onto Alex and CC. RR lariats Fish as we go to break.

We return and RR hits corner lariats on Fish. Fish boots him out of the corner then RR flying hurricanrana's him. Fish makes RR chase him around the ring. RR is hit from behind by KOR. KOR knee drops RR's back for 2. 

Fish push kicks and chest kicks RR. RR takes corner moves and a 2nd rope knee drop + tilt-a-whirl backbreaker combo. Fish knees RR in the gut. RR rewind kicks him. Alex springboard crossbodies KOR then hits a jumping knee on Fish. Alex enzugiri's KOR. Alex then does his russian dance with boots on KOR. Alex then single leg stomps him.

KOR is held in the catapult for a springboard knee from RR. KOR flying knees him. KOR regalplexes Alex for 2. RR flying knees CC. KOR hits strikes on RR then legsweeps him. Caprice does a fireman's carry kick to the head of KOR. Ced takes an electric chair flying knee. RR is double knee rammed into opponents. KOR tornado ddt's Alex. Alex takes chasing the dragon and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced three way. There were lots of people coming in and out the whole time and there was no lack of action. There wasn't a ton of selling and it wasn't that great or anything but I think it fulfilled it's job.

Outlaw Inc. come out. Homicide is wearing a wig and tries to break Fish's fingers. Eddie holds him but Fish slips out.

Overall thoughts:  I liked the opener and the Cole/Briscoe/Elgin angle. I did not see the intergender match. I thought the angle after with Steen didn't work as he got too goofy. The Corino stuff is still in progress so we'll have to see to get an idea as to where it was going. The main was a fast paced three-way. It was fine for what it was but had the usual limitations with three-ways. I'd say it was an average show overall.

Orange Cassidy and Tomohiro Ishii vs TMDK (Shane Haste and Robbie Eagles)

Shane wants to check OC's pockets. They shoulder each other. OC then tags in. Ishii and Shane shoulder battle. OC flying shoulders Shane then Shane takes a double shoulderblock. Rob trips OC then uses the ropes to armdrag him. Rob flying headscissors him and hits armdrags. OC snapmres Rob then bangs his head off the buckles.

Rob grabs the ref and Shane backdrops OC on the apron. Rob tope con hilos on OC through the ropes.  We go to PiP break and return. OC knocks Shane and Rob into each other. Ishii comes in and shoulders over Shane and Rob. Ishii backdrops Rob for 2.

OC does weak shots on purpose to Rob in the corner while Ishii hits forearms. Ishii suplexes Rob and OC top rope elbow drops Shane. Shane release falcon arrows OC. OC stunners Rob. Rob throws him down out of the backpack position.

Ishii headbutts Shane and is high kicked. Ishii lariats him. Rob rolls up OC then OC beach breakers him and wins.

Thoughts: I hated this. It was completely random and OC did comedy most of the match.  The spot where they were double teaming one of TMDK in the corner was particularly bad. Ishii's hitting the guy hard and watching OC love tap him yet didn't even seem to be bothered by it.

We get an Adam Page video with him seeing clips of Swerve and The Elite in his head.

The Learning Tree walk around the back. Jericho tells the one guy that his wrist is taped wrong. The wrestler says the trainer did it. Jericho goes up to the trainer and says to loop the tape around three times as it offers more support. Jericho then says to steal a roll of tape from the trainer's room when you go in so you don't have to pay for it later. Bryan Keith steals the whole box of tape.

Stephanie Vaquer vs Lady Frost

Mercedes Mone comes out before it starts and watches from a chair. SV throws Frost down. SV headflips out of a wristlock and armdrags her. SV stf's her. Frost step up kicks SV. Frost diving armdrags her outside off the steps. Frost handstands on the apron and SB superkicks her. Mone then has words for SV.

We go to PiP break and return. SV bangs Frost's head off the mat. Frost lariats SV then high kicks her. Frost forward cartwheel cannonballs her. Frost top rope tornillos her for 2. SV superkicks her and ddt's her.

Frost cartwheels over her back and dropkicks her in the back. SV hits a headbutt flurry on Frost. SV dragon screws her on the ropes then package backbreakers her for the win.

Thoughts: There were some good and bad points to this one. It was okay for the women but nothing too special aside from being a unique matchup.

Mone gets in the ring and holds her title up at SV. Zeuxis comes out to nowhere and nails Mone. Mone backcrackers her then SV superkicks Money. SV package backbreakers Mone. 

The Lucha Bros and Alex have an announcement. Alex says Death Triangle has something we have never seen before at Forbiddne Door. Titan and Hiromu Takahashi walk in. Hiromu says him and Titan should team with Yota and fight Death Triangle at Forbidden Door. Penta saysthey will team up with Mistico. Hiromu acts shocked in some horrible bit of acting and celebrates Mistico will being in there.

Thoughts: This was bad and really hard to understand. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to have the four non-English speakers talk to each other.

Serena Deeb vs Kelly Madan

Deeb hits boots and other shots in the corner. Deeb neckbreakers her over the 2nd rope. Deeb hits a pepsi twist lariat then hits a detox to win.

Thoughts: They had issues with the corner spot for some reason. Sadly, this didn't go on too long to get a real sense of what Kelly could do.

Deeb gets on the mic after. She said she took a loss lately but refuse to be put in wrestling purgatory. She says AEW is where the best wrestle and she's the best. She asks for someone to wrestle that is on her level. Riho of all people then comes out. They go face to face and Deeb leaves.

The Learning Tree asks someone if they washed their hands going out of the bathroom. Jericho says germs spread easily this time of year.

The Learning Tree walk around the back. Jericho explains what a zamboni is. Jericho says they should make sure the crew knows how to ride the zamboni properly. They open a door and Samoa Joe, Hook and Shibata are there. They then fight backstage and into the ring. Jeff Cobb comes out to help out Jericho's crew for some reason. He suplexes Hook and Shibata. He stares down with Samoa Joe and they hockey fight. Cobb spinebusters him and the heels stand over top the faces.

We get a video on Zack Sabre Jr vs Orange Cassidy.

Lexy interviews Orange Cassidy. OC says things aren't going great and his world is falling apart. He asks where Zack is and says Zack doesn't respect him as he's not here. Zack appears and says he respects him. Zakc says he knows his tricks and didn't need to watch his match. He said he waited a year to beat him. Zack makes a crack about OC putting his hands in his pockets, OC gets mad and Zack says he has already won.

Hechicero vs Kevin Blackwood

KB was supposed to have been signed a while ago but never started appearing regularly. Hech cradles him  and they roll on the mat. Hech chops him and ties his legs up. Kevin hits shots on him then Hech step up knees him in the corner.

Hech flapjacks him, grabs his arm and hits his leg on KB's head. Hech swinging hammerlock backbreakers him. Hech then ties up both of his arms and KB taps out.

Thoughts: It was a quick one here with Hech doing various submissions before getting the win.

Hech doesn't immediately release the hold after.

The Patriarchy are interviewed. Christian says his eyes are solely on the trios titles. He says he's the uncrowned champ and deserved to be treated as such. Christian says the 9 trios titles will look good on them.

Bullet Club Gold walk in. Jay asks if Christian apologized to his family for setting a bad example by saying, "I Quit". Christian says it's hard to tell Mama Wayne and Killswitch apart and says it's a shame Mama Wayne drank so much during her pregnancy. Killswitch growls at The Club after and one of them mocks him. This was funny. 

The Battle of Buffalo - The Butcher vs Daniel Garcia

Butch is wearing blue and red trunks and kind of looks funny in them. Butch backs DG up in the corner. Butch hits boots on DG then DG flurries on him. DG dropkicks him twice. Butch crossbodies him and throws him out.

DG's back is rammed into the rails. DG dropkicks him against the rails then Butch backdrops him on the rails. We go to PiP break and return. Butch slaps him then half-nelson backbreakers him. Butch lariats him for 2. Butch corner splashes DG.

DG flying facekicks him then spinning neckbreakers him. DG hits corner punches and lariats. Butch facekicks him then DG lariats him. DG piledrivers him on his head and wins it.

Thoughts: I didn't like DG hitting lariats and Butch selling them like they were hard hits. I was okay with the structure of it otherwise but I didn't think it was great or anything.

Will Ospreay is interviewed. He says things have gotten personal with Swerve but he can wait 24 hours to cave his head in. The Don Callis Family goes up to Will. Will says he can do this on his own. Don tells him to enjoy himself and do his thing. Will asks if someone will watch his back from the crew and Kyle agrees. Trent and Takeshita don't seem to like it. Rush grabs Don from behind and they stare down.
 
Lexy interviews Jack Perry. Jack says he never agreed to be part of the trios match tonight. Christopher Daniels comes in. He says Jack can back out but there will be repercussions. He says if he chooses not to compete tonight, he will be taken out of the ladder match.

Women's Owen Hart Tournament Quarterfinals - Hikaru Shida vs Deonna Purrazzo

This is kind of a lose-lose here as neither girl needs to lose this. DP wristlocks her. Shida rolls out and DP side headlock takeovers her. Shida headscissors her.

DP boots her off the break. DP slides between her legs then they trade forearms. Shida step up enzugiri's her then hits corner punches. Shida is crossbodies her off the 2nd rope outside. DP pump kicks her outside and we go to PiP break then full break. We return and Shida hits forearms. Shida running knees her then short arm lariats her.

Shida jumping knees her for 2. DP russian legsweeps her then armbars her. Shida enzugiri's her off the buckles then falcon arrows her. Shida hits a katana spinning knee and wins.

Thoughts: It was okay wrestling wise but as I said, it was a lose-lose. Neither really needed to lose this and I don't know how much winning this one helped either girl either. 

Shida poses on the buckles and DP pulls her down. DP stomps on her arm. Thunder Rosa then comes and makes the save in the feud that never ends.

We see a video on Jeff Jarrett promising to win The Owen Hart Tournament. His stablemates wish him luck and Sonjay says Jeff has got this on his own.

Toni Storm does a video talking about Mina Shirakawa. She talks nonsense and says she will hold her title inside the forbidden door.

Mark Briscoe, Lio Rush and Dante Martin vs El Phantasmo, Konosuke Takeshita and Jack Perry

Lio is caught by KT on a crossbody and he rolls him up off of it. Lio dropkicks ELP. ELP takes corner attacks then a double basement dropkicks for 2. Lio suplexes ELP for 2. Lio's team is in control. ELP step up enzugiri's Dante. ELP suplexes Lio into Dante and goes to tag Jack, but Jack jumps away. Mark dropkicks Jack through the ropes. We go to PiP break and return.

ELP and KT shove each other. Dante hits a double hurricanrana on them. Mark hits shots on ELP and KT. Mark back enzugiri's KT and hits chops. Mark corner lariats him then fisherman busters him. ELP superkicks Mark then Lio superkicks ELP. Lio handspring kicks KT then topes him. ELP topes Lio then Dante topes ELP. Lio and Dante top rope frogsplash ELP.

Mark misses a cannonball off the apron. KT release germans Lio then Dante 2nd rope hurricanrana's him. 

Jack pushes Dante off the top rope then Dante step up enzugiri's him off the apron. KT spinning blue thunders him then KT pumping knees him to win.

Thoughts: The story of this one was that Jack didn't really want to do tag in or do anything. While they did put that over, it doesn't make for the most exciting match. It was about what you would expect from these gets with lots of dives and fast paced offense.

Jack hits KT in the head with the title after. He then poses with the title. ELP superkicks Jack out of the ring and grabs the title then Lio seated springboard stunners him. Lio and Dante play tug of war over the title then Briscoe nails both with the ladder in an odd heelish move. Mark throws the title off the ladder then jumps off the ladder onto everyone.  

Forbidden Door Weigh In

Prince Nana has the scale out on the ramp and two guards. He says it's brought you by princenanacoffee.com (it's a real site too).

Will comes out in his underwear and is weighed. He comes out at 220lbs. I don't buy that. Swerve comes out with a bunch of rappers. Swerve weighs in at 230lbs.

Swerve and Will go face to face. Will says he's got 24 hours until he knocks the dirty grills out of his mouth. He says we have a new era where the best wrestle. He says he will find out why his name is Will Ospreay.

Swerve says the pressure is on Will. He says he's the champ and has been there and Will hasn't. Swerve says he's on another level. Swerve says Will is dressed like a bum while he's dressed up like a business man....while he's wearing his underwear and shoes only. He says he will offer Will's wife a contract and Will goes after him. Security then breaks it up. Will hidden blades him on the ramp and lays him out.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual completely random episode of Collision. And on a night when they have some foreigners around already, they still found ways to make it even more random with people like Kevin Blackwood. It wasn't that bad since it was in-ring focused and they had a lot of people who can go, but I don't think this was the best go home show for the PPV.

Top Tier vs The Dojo Defenders (Kara Kai and Tara Strike) and Sierra Breeze

Glorita Glitter hits SB from behind. SB does an up and over to nobody then is hit from behind. She does it again and armdrags her. SB lariats her. Kai is in the black and hits kicks and an enzugiri on Coach. Kai headscissors her down, snapmares her and knees her in the face for 2.

Tara is in the white and PK's Coach for 2. SB crossbodies the 2nd rope when Coach moves. Coach corner lariats SB. Kandi sliding forearms SB in the corner. Kandi throws her off the front facelock.

Glitter gordbusters SB then does the stair stepper on her. SB slingshot sunset flips Coach. Coach chokes SB in the corner. SB jumps off the 2nd rope to tag in Tara in a neat moment. Tara hits kicks on Kandi.

Tara high kicks Kandi and is hit in the gut while doing it. SB and Glitter get in. SB spin kicks her then Glitter knees her. Glitter pedigrees her and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that great there with some missed shots and that weird up and over spot when nobody else was there. Tara jumping off the 2nd rope to make a tag was unique.

Top Tier do a promo. Coach says they are the trios tag champs and they have the trophy to prove it. Coach says she knew what she wanted when she started this and her planning was perfect. She says they will take on any trios tag team. Coach says they are coming to the commentary table for the next match. 

Las Bandidas (Sylvia Sanchez and Angel Rose) vs The All American Girls (Santana Garrett and Americana)

Top Tier is on commentary. Coach says David "Davey" and says the last trios trophy "broke a little bit".

SG and Ameri are jumped before the bell rings. They hit stereo thesz presses and mounted punches. Rose maybe gets her mouth busted open. Rose is wristlocked then she reverses it. SG uses the ropes to flip and escape it. SG takes a double shoulder then double armdrags her opponents.

SG armlocks Rose then Ameri low crossbodies Rose. Rose pounds on her then Sanchez hits corner spears on Ameri. Rose foot chokes Ameri then Sanchez running knees Ameri.

Ameri escapes a double suplex and hits a double neckbreaker off of it. SG is tagged in and beats up on Las Bandidas. Rose is thrown into Sanchez then SG handspring back elbows both. Ameri headflips into a forearm on Sanchez.

Coach asks for tag team belts. Sanchez handstand hurricanrana's Sanchez off the buckles and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine and there was nothing wrong with this one. The faces got beaten up and made their comeback to win.

Top Tier get in the ring after and beat up SG and Ameri. Ariel Sky comes in and hits Top Tier with a water bucket.  

Ariel Sky says Coach Campanelli took her under her ring. She said Coach taught her everything she knows. She says she's ready for a rematch with her friends.

Samantha Smart and The Classmaster start to head to the ring.

The Heavy Metal Sisters (Rebel Haze and Fury) vs Holidead and Chantilly Chella

Chella dances her way to the ring. Holi and Rebel lock up. Holi side headlocks her and rams her head into the buckles. Rebel misses a boot in the corner and is kicked in the leg. Holi backbreakers Rebel then Holi drops Chella into a senton on Rebel.

Chella hits kicks on Rebel. Rebel takes corner attacks and a side slam. Holi hits knees to the gut. Chella is lifted into a double boot on Rebel. Fury lariats Chella for 2. Chella cartwheels out of the corner and dropkicks her.

Chella oges up and over then springboard twisting crossbodies her. Chella is backbreakered off her headscissors attempt. Fury chokes Chella on the ropes. Fury twists Chella's neck. Chella takes a double clothesline.

Rebel sentons Chella for 2. Holi swings Rebel into Fury then chest kicks Rebel. Chella high kicks Fury. Rebel takes an electric chair bulldog and is pinned. Chella and Holi get the win.

Thoughts: It was another okay tag here and similar to the last one with the faces coming back and getting the win. I'm curious as to what the long term play is with Holi and Chella as they aren't the most natural tag team together.

Samantha Smart and The Classmaster talk in the back. Sam says she's brought the biggest and baddest competitor Beast has ever faced. Class says it will be so great when she is named the best wrestler in the class of WOW. Class says she can't wait. Beast says she hopes Class is ready as she is ready for her. She says it's about to get ugly.

Next week has Lil' J-Boogie vs Ice Cold and Goldie Collins and Katarina Jinx in action.

WOW Title - The Beast (c) vs The Classmaster

Smart gets on the mic beforehand. She tells everyone to stand up and raise your hands as high as you can. She says to slowly lower them and says that is how you bow to greatness. She says that is what Beast will do when they take her title.

They lock up, stare down and talk trash. They miss corner attacks. Dave tells us Abilene Maverick will be back as soon as her back is healed. Class and Beast do a double knuckle lock and Beast overhead splexes her. Beast hits corner lariats and a corner splash.

Beast's head is banged off the buckles then she is thrown by the hair. Samantha Smart cheapshots Beast while she is on the bottom rope. Class cravates Beast and snapmares her. Class legdrops Beast's legs  then does a grounded cobra twist.

Beast hits forearms to the gut then Class clubs on her. Class does something like a fameasser and legdrops her for 2. They shoulder each other and Beast slams her. Beast backdrops her and pushes her down on it for 2. Class gets her head banged off the apron.

Smart hits Beast with her ruler and breaksit on her. Class back body drops her. Class chokeslams Beast for 2. Beast hits a big spear on Class but lets up on the 2 count for some reason. Beast then hits another spear and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here that was more heavyweight based. Class had a good showing here in a rare singles match and they matched up pretty well together. It was what it needed to be as it gave Beast some credibility and put her over as a force.

Overall thoughts: It was a decent episode of WOW. The main was fine and probably the best thing on here. There were two other decent matches as well. They also teased that the trios trophy would be come trios titles on this one and told us that Abilene Maverick will be back which is good news.

Mark Briscoe tells Jay Briscoe he has to surrender his title belt. He doesn't want to and Mark tells him to do it like a man and put his big boy drawers on.

Kevin Kelly says it's the most important 60 minutes of ROH history as we will crown a new champ.

We see clips of matches from the ROH Title Tournament.

Mark Briscoe tells Jay Briscoe to stay focused and not lose his cool. 

Jay Briscoe comes out to give up the ROH Title. He says you have to work hard to be successful in life and says the harder you work, the more successful will be (I disagree with this). He talks about the first ROH show at the Murphy Rec Center. He said he busted his @ss to make ROH the best company it could be. He says he stepped up to the plate and helped take down SCUM. He said he got a shoulder injury when he did that and said the ROH higher ups ruled him unable to defend his title.

Jay calls out Nigel McGuinness. He asks why Nigel could defend his title when his bicep was torn but he can't when his shoulder is hurt. He says he knows Nigel is just the messenger. He says he held the title like a man and will have to hand it over. The crowd chants "no" and says he will be in line for a shot as soon as he is cleared to wrestle. He then leaves.

We get a video for Outlaw Inc. The video has sirens, Eddie Kingston and a clown mask logo.

Nigel says we will crown a new ROH champ soon. He says judges will decide who wins if there is not a winner after 60 minutes. Cary Silkin, Joe Koff and Prince Nana are the judges.

Larry Mercer hypes up upcoming shows. Roderick Strong talks about his match with Mike Mondo next week. He says they will finally settle their issues and asks where he has been. He says he has been looking for him. He says he has never left though and says he will show him why he is Mr. Ring of Honor.

ROH Title Tournament Final - Adam Cole vs Michael Elgin

Mike is still holding his neck after the Steen match. They shake hands and Mike shoves him back. Cole side headlocks him and Mike shoulders him over. Cole goes out and gets back in. Mike back elbows him then powerslams him for 2. Cole back body drops him then Mike sends him out.

Mike trips him and front facelocks him. Cole reverses it. Cole rolls out of a wristlock and puts one on. Mike rolls, cartwheels and dropkicks out of the wristlock. Mike gorilla press slams Cole for 2.

Mike goes for a delay suplex but Cole gets out and neckbreakers him. Cole snapmares him and knees him in the back. Cole basement dropkicks him and cravates him.

We go to break. Outlaw Inc and Taven vs Lethal in a TV Title match will be on next week's show. Jay Lethal says he's excited and says he has beaten Taven before. He says he has got the solution and it's a three count after a lethal injection.

We return from break. Mike backdrops him then Cole ddt's him. Cole chinlocks him then jumps on his back with a sleeper. They trade pump kicks then Mike spinning forearms him. Mike corner uranage's him.

Mike hits lariats to the front and back of the neck.  Mike black hole slams him for 2. Cole enzugiri's him and boom knees him for 2. Cole is on the apron and deadlift german suplexed in. Mike hits another german then germans him into the buckles.

Cole hits an attitude adjustment. They trade forearms. Cole pump kicks him and Mike hits lariats on the ropes. Mike rebound germans him then hits a big lariat for 2. Mike flips him with a lariat for 2.

We go to break and return with both men down. Cole sunset bombs him and hits a boom knee for 2. Mike hits a pendulum side slam for 2. Cole goes to springboard and takes a dropkick. Mike deadlift super falcon arrows him for 2. Mike buckle bombs him and backfists him out of the ring. Cole ends up laying underneath the judge's table.

Mike goes for a backdrop off the apron through a table but Cole rolls on him and both go through it. Cole superkicks him and germans him for 2. Cole takes a 2nd rope powerbomb and a buckle bomb. Cole no sells it and rolls him up for 2.

Mike hits spinning shots then buckle bombs him. Mike doctor bombs him but nails the ref with Cole's boot on accident. We go to break and return. Cole is laying on the floor. They get in and Cole dropkicks him, getting Mike's leg stuck in the ropes. Cole figure fours him and Mike ropebreaks.

Cole facebusters him on the apron and kind of falcon arrows him on the floor. Cole hits a panama sunrise for 2. Cole then nearly hits the ref for only counting two.

Cole's panama sunrise attempt is blocked then Mike crossfaces him. Mike spinning forearms him. Cole hits pump kicks then Cole germans him for 2. Cole straightjacket germans him and wins.

Thoughts: The first half was okay but then it just broke down. Cole hit a falcon arrow on the floor that meant nothing. They kicked out of a panama sunrise. Mike's leg got caught in the ropes and Cole figure four'd him, then completely forgot about it. The ref got hit and Cole took powerbombs and didn't sell them. The finish was also kind of weak as it was hard to buy the straightjacket german putting down Mike when suplexes on the apron and such couldn't.

Jay Briscoe comes out and gives Cole the title after. Cole superkicks him in the back of the head then hits Mike with the title.

Overall thoughts: There was only one match here and I wasn't a fan of it. There wasn't much else going on during this one and I wouldn't recommend it.

Super Crazy vs. LJ Cleary vs. Ninja Mack

We get a double headlock spot. LJ and Mack are shouldered over. LJ and Mack's heads are banged together. Mack chops Crazy then LJ. Crazy chops LJ then LJ chops him. Crazy kicks LJ in the back then Mack chops Crazy.

LJ slinghsots over crazy then springboards using Mack and dropkicks him. Mack is pulled over the top and LJ tope con hilos Mack and Crazy. Mack is sent into the rails then LJ is sent into the rails.

LJ hits kicks on Mack then dropkicks Crzy through the ropes. Mack goes for a ninja special and Crazy backdrops him down. LJ springboard dropkicks Mack. Crazy slams both opponents. Crazy corkscrew elbow drops LJ for 2.

Crazy takes corner lariats. LJ step up enzugiri's Crazy. LJ springboard canadian destroyers Mack then Crazy 2nd rope moonsaults Mack. LJ ushigoroshi's Crazy and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't as fast paced as you would expect and was just a short little spotfest. There wasn't anything too special about this. 

Akitoshi Saito, Atsushi Kotoge, Go Shiozaki, Hi69 & Mohammed Yone vs. REAL ZERO1 (Chris Vice, Hide Kubota, Satsuki Nagao, Takuya Sugawara & Yasu Kubota)

Yasu has the blonde hair. Vice and Saito go to stat us off and Saito is hit from behind. Saito takes 3 and 5 person beatings. Nagao boots Saito and hits forearms. Saito knees him in the gut.

Nagao takes corner attacks for 2. Yone slams and legdrops Nagao. Kotoget boots Nagao then trade forearms with him. Nagao headbutts him then dropkicks him. Kotoge takes a russian legsweep and baseball slide. Kotoge takes a spinning side slam + legdrop combo.

Go hits chops and forearms out of the corner then is thrown out. Takuya slaps Kotoge around and is pump kicked. Saito and Vice lariat battle. Saito and Vice trade forearms for chops. Go comes in and hits chops before being thrown out and Yone hits a double clothesline. Vice takes a double team and a claw slam from Saito. Vice lariats Saito.

69 asai moonsaults Vice and hits a forearm flurry. Vice suplexes him then package piledrivers him to win.

Thoughts: It was a short and nothing match. They had nowhere near enough time for this and 69 going down to a package piledriver was pretty weak here. Go barely did anything in this one and it was a total throaway. Z1 getting the win was a shock.

Shuhei Taniguchi & Titus Alexander vs. Hiroki Inaba & Masa Kitamiya

Shu and Inaba do some amateur wrestling. Inaba side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Inaba slams him and elbow drops him. Titus gets in. Titus side headlocks him and rolls him up for 2. Masa shoulders Titus over. Titus enzugiri's him and dropkicks him. Titus topes him outside then top rope crossbodies him for 2.

Titus and Masa trade forearms. Masa shoulders him over then slams Shu. He sentons both opponents. Titus dropkicks Masa then Shu gets in. Shu corner lariats Masa then takes a ocrner lariat. Shu powerslams him then slams Inaba on him twice.

Shu and Masa trade forearms. Shu headbutts him and spinebusters him. Masa spears him. Inaba flying shoulders Shu then suplexes him. Shu sledgehammer shots Inaba over then Titus upkicks Inaba. Titus handspring cutters him then double underhook backbreakers him for 2. Titus takes a lariat + spear combo then takes corner lariats. Titus takes a backdrop + elbow drop combo for 2.

Inaba hits forearms on Titus then blue thunders him for 2. titus superkicks him then is flipped with a lariat. Inaba final cuts him for 2. Titus dropkicks him in the back and pumping knees him. Titus suplexes Inaba for 2. Titus hits a chaos theory german on Inaba and wins.

Thoughts: Inaba losing to a junior was burial here. They did what they could with the time but they didn't really have enough time to go all the way with this. This caused it to not be as good it could have been. I like the Inaba and Masa team and would like to see more and I'd be up for a rematch.

AMAKUSA, Hajime Ohara & Junta Miyawaki vs. Eita, Shuji Kondo & Yu Owada

Yu flips out of a wristlock then puts his own on Ohara. They mat wrestle and Ohara ties up his legs. Ohara does cattle mutilation and pulls his arms back. Ohara does an abdominal stretch variation and it's broken up.

Yu flips off of Ohara then back body drrops him. Yu hiptosses him and dropkicks him. Ohara slams him and Yu wristlocks him. Junta and Shuji get in. Shuji forearms him down then is dropkicked out.

Eita shoulders Ama over. They trade armdrags and Eita dropkicks him. Ama takes a double back elbow and double basement dropkick. Eita hits a double dropkick then Junt triangle springboard plancha's out. Junta top rope dropkicks Eita.

Junta is pulled off the 2nd rope then Yu crossbodies Junta. Yu top rope crossbodies Junta for 2. Junta suplexes Yu then Ama springboard back elbows Yu. Ama corkscrew lariats him off the top. Shuji hits a bulldog + neckbreaker combo then Ama hurricanrana's him off the pop-up. Ama then corkscrew tornillos onto Shuji. Ama botches a springboard and michinoku drivers Yu for 2.

Ama spiral taps Yu and wins.

Thoughts: It was mostly filler and was designed to put Ama over. Ama did some okay flying here and that was about all that happened in this one.

Takumi Iroha vs. Great Sakuya

Great stares at her then TI lays down on the mat. Great dances and spits mist. Great gets out of a hold and dances more. She headflips out of a lariat and tilt-a-whirl armdrags her. TI misses a headkick and Great slides out. Great goofs around outside playing with her nails.

Great stomps on TI's hands then splits her fingers. TI spin kicks Great then stomps her hands. TI sharpshooters her. TI hits kicks and they trade forearms. Great spin kicks and superkicks her. TI superkicks her on the buckles. Great throws her back and dances then flipping sentons her for 2.

Great slaps her and takes a strike combo. TI suplexes her and Great 2nd rope hurricanrana's her. Great does a step up poisonrana then asai moonsaults her for 2. TI gets her knees up on Great's top rope moonsault. TI does a runing powerbomb but Great hurricanrana's her out of it. Great spin kicks huer and gets a 2 count. TI spinning forearms her. Great misses a green mist attempt and takes kicks. TI hits a running razor's edge and wins it.

Thoughts: This gave memories of bad Muta matches, only with dancing and playing with fingernails. This wasn't good.

GLG (Jake Lee, Tadasuke & YO-HEY) vs. All Rebellion (Alejandro, Cristobal & Kenoh)

Ken and Jake lock up. Ken hammerlocks him. Jake throws him down off the waistlock. Ken slaps him then Jake spits at him. Yo and Cris go at it. Cris side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Cris armdrags him and poses.

Cris ducks a lariat then flying double chops him. Ale springboard headscissors and dropkicks Tada. Tada takes a double elbow and a two person double chop. Tada ddt's Ale. Jake atomic drops Ale then puts him in a paradise lock. Ken rolls Ale out of it. Jake does it again and Ken rolls him out again. Jake does it a third time then Ken rolls him out a third time.

Yo snapmares Ale then basement dropkicks him. Ale slingshot splashes him. Ken is double whipped into the ropes and facekicks Jake off the apron. Ken germans Jake when he gets back in and PK's him inside.

Yo flying kicks Ken then Tada gets in. Tada is chest kicked by Ken then Cris dropkicks Tada. Cris neckbreakers Tada for 2. Ale jumps off of Cris' back and back elbows Tada. Cris cradles Tada for 2 then Tada throws Criss off the buckles.

Jake facekicks Ken off the apron then facekicks Cris in the corner. Jake then pins Cris.

Thoughts: They made you want to see Jake vs Ken here but didn't accomplish a lot else with this one. It was far from what it could have been and Cris went down too easy here. 

Jake says GLG will break up at the next big show as he says he has other things to do..

HAYATA & Ryohei Oiwa vs. Ulka Sasaki & Yoshinari Ogawa

Oiwa and Ulka start us off. Ulka hits armdrags and Oiwa headlock takeovers him. Ulka headscissors him and they stand off. Oiwa armlocks him. Ulka flips out using the ropes. Ogawa gets in. Ogawa trips him into an armlock. Ogawa hiptosses him.

Haya gets in. Ogawa side headlocks him then dropkicks him. Haya dropkicks him out then handspring kicks Ulka. Haya then plancha's both opponents outside. Oiwa goes for a dive and his opponents move.

Oiwa misses a dropkick then Ulka hits knees to the gut. Oiwa shoulders him over then armdrags him. Haya works Ulka's arm then Ulka wristlocks him. Ulka goes for the armbar and Haya ropebreaks.

Haya boots Ogawa out of the corner, comes off the 2nd rope and lands his crotch on Ogawa's knee. Haya handspring double back elbows his opponents. Oiwa hits dropkicks on his opponents. Oiwa slams Ogawa and splashes him.

Oiwa and Ogawa trade forearms. Ulka hits knees on Oiwa then trips him and tries some holds. Oiwa dropkicks Ulka. Haya atomic drops Ulka then flying kicks him from the side. Ulka rolls him into a leg lock. Ulka slams Haya then Ogawa ddt's Haya. Ulka suplexes Haya for 2. Ogawa backdrops Haya.

Haya enzugiri's him. Haya boots him then Ulka flying armbars him. Ulka flying kicks Haya for 2 and Ogawa throws Oiwa out. Ulka hits a kick combo on Haya and cutters him for 2. Haya tries a pin on Ulka for 2 then rolls him for 2 again. Ulka heel hooks him and submits him out of nowhere.

Thoughts: This was stupid. The finish was completely out of nowhere with no real build to it and the rest of the match was nothing special at all. This was very disappointing and poorly put together.

Ulka challenges for Haya's title after.

GHC Junior Heavyweight Title Match - Daga (c) vs. Starboy Charlie

Daga side headlocks Star. Daga shoulders him over and Star kips up. Star cartwheels over him then Daga flying headscissors him. Daga is hiptossed into the ropes and armdrags him off of it. Star headscissors him and they stand off.

Star hiptosses him, dropkicks him and running ssp's him. Daga sentons Star's back for 2. Daga topes him. Star's back is rammed into the post and he is exploder suplexed on the floor. Star drops down and Daga double stomps his back.

Daga dropkicks him. Star is laid on the top rope and Daga top rope dropkicks him. Star kips down and up into a pele kick to duck Daga's lariat. They trade shot. Star spin kicks, leg sweeps and standing corkscrew ssp's him.

Star superkicks him out then fosbury flops him outside. Star's throat is pulled down over the top rope. Daga goes up top and takes a cartwheel pele kick. Star springboard triangle ddt's him on the apron.

Daga hits kicks and backdrop backbreakers him for 2. Star cradles him for 2 counts. Daga rolls him up and tries a bridge pin. Daga flips him with a lariat. Daga counters a pele kick with a superkick. Daga elbow slices him down for 2. Daga double underhook codebreakers him and wins it.

Thoughts: I'll never really get what Noah sees in Daga. He's not a great worker, he's not a great bumper and he's not a great personality. Charlie needed to be tortured more here then he could have made his comeback. He then probably should have lost on a fluke or something to save him some face. It was average and it was mostly on Daga. 

Amakusa wants a title shot after. Daga says he's hungry and he's more food. He accepts his challenge and tells him he better be ready. He says he will break his legs.

GHC Tag Team Title Match - Naomichi Marufuji & Takashi Sugiura vs. GLG (Anthony Greene & Jack Morris)

Jack and Sugi start us off. Jack ties his legs up into a pin attempt. They shoulder each other and Jack shoulders him over. Sugi throws Jack out. Ag and Maru go at it. They boot each other at the same time and catch each other's boots. Maru cartwheels and is lariated over. Jack stomps on Maru then maru dropkicks him.

Sugi is thrown into the rails outside and held for a Jack tope. Sugi is beaten up on in the corner. Jack slams him and Sugi takes a double bck elbow. AG chinlocks Sugi. Sugi throws AG on a slam and knees him in the gut. Maru takes a double boot then lariats both opponents.

Maru hits Kawada kicks to AG. Maru avoids a double team and hits hook kicks. Maru then takes a backdrop + neckbreaker combo. Maru hook kicks AG. Sugi corner facekicks and corner knees Jack. Sugi 2nd rope brainbusters Jack then crabs him. Sugi backdrops Jack and takes some shots.

Maru chops Jack. Jack takes chops and forearms from both opponents. Maru pumping knees Sugi on accident and Jack backdrops Maru. AG chinbreakers and neckbreakers Sugi. AG walks the top rope and twisting crossbodies Sugi.

AG rolls up Sugi then takes a knee to the gut. Sugi running knees him for 2. Sugi takes chops from both opponents. Jack tiger drivers Sugi then AG twisting reverse ddt's Sugi. Maru jumps off of Jack's back and pumping knees AG. Jack double knees Maru and all four men are down.

AG hits superkicks on Sugi then Sugi olympic slams him for 2. Sugi lariats AG down then olympic slams him for the win.

Thoughts: It was a very average match and nothing special whatsoever. I kept waiting for a big moment or something here and we never got it. We didn't even get much of a finishing stretch on this one.

GHC Heavyweight Title Match - Kaito Kiyomiya (c) vs. Gabe Kidd

They start off fast. Gabe shoulders him over then is shouldered over. Gabe corner lariats him. Kaito armdrags and dropkicks him. Kaito plancha's him outside. Gabe is sent into the rails outside. They go into the crowd and fight. Kaito's head is banged off the seats. Gabe gets sent into the seats.

Gabe pushes the ref aside to grab a chair and Kaito dropkicks the chair into his face. Kaito hits corner punches but Gabe pushes his head into the post. Gabe chops Kaito off buckles and busts his own head open with headbutts. Kaito gets bloodied too and Kaito is thrown out.

Gabe grabs the English announcer and throws him over the rails. Gabe then suplexes the announcer on the floor. Kaito hits forearms then Gabe hits a headbutt flurry on him. Gabe hits footslaps and chops. They trade forearms and Gabe bites him. Gabe hits lariats to the front and back then Kaito dropkicks him.

Kaito hits running shots and dropkicks him. Kaito hits corner punches then basement dropkicks him. Kaito poisionrana's Gabe while he's talking trash and not looking. They fight on the apron and Kaito dropkicks Gabe into the post. Kaito tiger suplexes him on the apron.

Gabe slap flurries Kaito then bangs his head off the buckles. Gabe hanging guillotines him and brainbusters him for 2. Gabe backdrops him and germans him. They trade germans. Gabe flips out of a german and lariats him. Kaito hits an elevated reverse ddt. 

Gabe grabs the ref and low blows Kaito. Gabe stomps him i nthe corner and spits on him. Kaito takes him down, hits punches and spits on him. They slap flurry each other then Kaito does a tope con hilo on him outside. Kaito top rope tiger suplexes him for 2.

Gabe blocks a shining wizard and hits a slap combo. Kaito flying knees him. Kaito knocks him down with forearms then walks up the buckles and knees him. Kaito shining wizards him in the back of the head then the front of the head to win.

Thoughts: It was a pretty simple heel vs face match. Gabe did mostly all strikes here and beat up on Kaito for most of this. Kaito eventually made his comeback and won. We got some blood here as well. 5-10 minutes could have been cut off of this easily but it was a good main.

Kaito talks on the mic after and says he will raise the value of the belt. Yoshiki Inamura, who is now YOICHI, comes out after with a new look and gear. Yoichi challenges for the title and Kaito accepts.

Thoughts: Inamura didn't need to change his name or look. He just needed to actually win matches and be booked strong, which is something Noah could never accomplish. Yoichi goes to shake his hand after and hits a muso like a jerk. If I were Kaito, I'd take away his title match for that. Yoichi says he's coming for the belt.

Overall thoughts: The main was good but not much else was worth seeing here. The show went over 3 hours yet the undercard didn't get enough time. The tag title match was disappointing and a poor way to end GLG's reign. Daga/Charlie was okay but not great. Ken and Jake's tag had nice fighting between them but was only a little over 10 minutes. Zero-1 shockingly got the win over Team Noah. The women's match was bad with Great Sakuya bringing out some of the worst of old Muta matches and then dancing on top of it. I wouldn't recommend this one.

They lock up and Ten throws him down. Ten leapfrogs him and Ke headlock takeovers him. Ten takes him down by the arm. Ke front facelocks him then Ten armdrags him. Ten dropkicks him then spins him around by the neck.

Ten basement dropkicks him then 2nd rope splashes him. Ten throws him by the neck again. Ten catches a springboard twisting crossbody and backbreakers him. Ten shoulders him over. Ke climbs the ropes and splashes him for 2. Ke flying headscissors him then twisting crossbodies him outside off the 2nd rope. 

Ke roughs him up and corner lariats him. Ten corner lariats him. Ten misses a corner charge then Ke 2nd rope leg lariats him. Ke corner lariats him then back body drops him. Ke butt drops him then vader boms him for the win.

Thoughts: It was short and the mini's did what they could here. It wasn't great or anything but it had it's charm to it and was about the best you were getting out of KeMalito. 

Copa Dinastia 2024 Seeding Battle Royal - Felino Jr. vs. Soberano Jr. vs. Valiente Jr. vs. El Hijo de Octagon vs. Hijo De Blue Panther vs. Mascara Dorada vs. Hijo de Stuka Jr.

Lots of fighting to start between the wrestlers. Val Jr. is hiptossed out by Blue. MD is thrown out by Stuka. Felino clibs the ropes and is thrown out by Sob. Oct dropkicks Stuka then Blue pushes Stuka over the top by the throat.

Oct misses a splash and Sob hits superkicks. Sob poses and is eliminated.

Octagon Jr. vs Hijo de Blue Panther

Blue ties up Oct's mask in the ropes. Oct gets out, hiptosses him over the top and topes him. Oct springboard plancha's him and Blue rolls through it for a 2 count. Blue is hurricanrana'd and rolls with it. Oct flips over him in the corner then does a nice northern lights suplex and pins him.

Thoughts: I have no idea what the purpose of it was but they matched up well together and Oct went all out for the little time they had.

Copa Dinastia 2024 Quarter Final Match - Valiente & Valiente Jr. vs. Mascara Dorada & Panterita del Ring

MD = Mascara Dorada, Ring = Panterita del Ring

Val Sr takes down MD. MD trips him and they stand off. Val Sr knocks him over and thye roll on the mat before standing off. Ring and Val Jr. go at it. Val Jr. wristlocks him then Ring trips him. Val Jr. crucifixes him then armdrags him. They stand off.

Val Sr. hits Ring from behind then Ring takes a double spinebuster. Ring's legs are split and he is stomped on. Ring is dropkicked in the knee and Val Jr. springboard lariats him.

Ring is double hiptossed into the ropes and double armdrags off of it. Val Jr and MD handspring into the ropes together. Val Jr pop up facebusters him. MD flying headscissors him then tope con hilos him outside.

Ring boots Val Sr then is back body dropped. Val Jr springboard dropkicks MD. Val Sr hits a fast tope on Ring. MD top rope diving armdrags Val Jr then is thrown over the top. Val Jr double blind springboard moonsaults him outside. Ring is dropped onto Val Sr's knees and pinned.

MD springboard hurricanrana's Val Sr and pins him. Val Jr does something like an angel's wings on MD for 2. MD is tilt-a-whirled into a backbreaker for 2. Val Jr moonsaults into MD's feet. MD top rope ssp's him and pins him to win the match.

Thoughts: It was a shorter and fast paced match. They filled the time well with various dives and didn't waste much time at all.  It was cool to see Val Jr do Val Sr's blind double springboard moonsault.

Copa Dinastia 2024 Quarter Final Match - Felino & Felino Jr. vs. Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Stuka Jr.

HS = Hijo de Stuka Jr, SJ = Stuka Jr, FJ = Felino Jr

Fel Sr takes down HS. Fel Sr snapmares him. We get a few kicks and HS is tripped into double knees then double stomped on the back. FJ corner lariats SJ. SJ is thrown off the 2nd rope and basement dropkicked.

HS double armdrags The Fel's off the ropes then The Stuka's do stereo topes outside. The Fel's are whipped into each other and both are thrown down. The Stuka's do stereo top rope splashes and win the match.

Thoughts: This one was too short and a waste of all of these guys. 

Copa Dinastia 2024 Quarter Final Match - Euforia & Soberano Jr. vs. Los Divinos Laguneros (Blue Panther & Hijo De Blue Panther)

HB = Hijo de Blue Panther

Sob and HB start us off. Sob trips HB then is armdragged. Sob single leg crabs him. Sob crucifixes him then HB spinning headscissors him. Euf facekicks HB. Blue Sr is put on the 2nd rope and he flying hadscissors Euf off of it. Blue Sr is stomped by both opponents.

Blue Sr is kicked in the leg in the corner. Blue Sr double facebusters his opponents. Euf spears the post when Blue Sr moves. Blue Sr cannonballs off the apron and HB tope con hilos on Euf outside.

Euf is spinebustered and Sob is headscissored off the top onto Euf. The Panther's climb the buckles and both dive outside onto their opponents.

HB is 2nd rope powerbombed by Euf. Sob suplexes Blue Sr and pins him. HB is pinned and Euf/Sob win.

Thoughts: It didn't get enough time and wasn't that great because of it. The wildman Blue Sr still got two dives in somehow.

Copa Dinastia 2024 Semi Final Match - Mascara Dorada & Panterita del Ring vs. Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Stuka Jr.

MD = Mascara Dorada, Ring = Panterita del Ring, HS = Hijo de Stuka Jr, SJ = Stuka Jr

MD and Ring do dives early on with both running the stage. MD does a nice armdrag on HS then tonrillos him outside. Ring topes SJ. HS stomps on MD. Ring and SJ trade double chops then they double lariat each other. Ring shoulderbreakers HS. MD  is backbreakered then takes a codebreaker from the side. HS and SJ pick up pins and win the match.

Thoughts: It was another one that was too short. This was the shortest match of the night so far and I was surprised The Stuka's won.

Copa Dinastia 2024 Semi Final Match - Euforia & Soberano Jr. vs. El Hijo de Octagon & Octagon

Hijo = El Hijo de Octagon

Oct takes down Euf then hiptosses him. Oct armdrags Sob then arm throws Euf. Oct flips Sob then armdrags Euf. 

Sob and Hijo go at it. Hijo messes up a handspring then spinning armdrags Sob. Hijo walks up the buckles and diving headscissors Euf. Hijo is then thrown into an armdrag on Sob. Oct topes out and Hijo tope con hilos out. Oct la escalera's Euf and Sob breaks it up. Oct spinebusters Euf and Hijo hits a canadian destroyer on Sob for 2. Sob fire thunders Hijo and pins him while Euf pins Oct off a flying lariat.

Thoughts: It was short and not that good as expected due to Oct being pretty limited and slow.

Copa Dinastia 2024 Final Match - Euforia & Soberano Jr. vs. Hijo de Stuka Jr. & Stuka Jr.

SJ = Stuka Jr

Euf slams Hijo on the ramp then Sob dropkicks SJ. SJ is popped up and kicked. Hijo's head is banged off the buckles. Euf unties SJ's mask. Hijo is thrown out and SJ is sent into the rails. SJ takes a kick to the leg. Sob pump kicks Euf on accident then Hijo topes Sob between SJ's legs. SJ then asai moonsaults out.

Euf powerslams Hijo then drops SJ on him. Euf 2nd rope splashes SJ for 2. Sob brainbusters SJ. Hijo 2nd rope hurricanrana's Euf then SJ top rope splashes Euf. Hijo hits a bladerunner style ddt on Sob for 2.

Euf boots SJ out. SJ is beaten up on. SJ rolls Sob up and pins him while Euf isn't looking. Euf back rolls SJ and taps him out with a chinlock on the knees. Hijo airplane spins Euf. Euf rips at Hijo's mask. Hijo rolls Euf for 2 then hurricanrana's him for 2. Euf stupidly rips Hijo's mask off in front of the ref and is disqualified. The Stuka's win the Copa Dinastia.

Thoughts: The finish was completely stupid. Is Euf room temperature IQ or something? And to make things worse, his partner didn't even seem to care that match either after wasting his time wrestling 2 other matches and a battle royale tonight. The match wasn't anything too special and the finish ruined whatever good will the match garnered.

The Stuka's are beaten up after.

Overall thoughts: I'm never a fan of CMLL tournaments as they do all the matches in one night plus other matches so everything ends up being short and not that good. That's what happened here. Had they spread this out over a few nights, this would have been a lot better. The finish to the tournament was super dumb with Euforia getting DQ'd for ripping a mask off. I would have thrown a fit if I paid for this one.

Handicap Match - Orange Cassidy vs The Outrunners

Truth wristlocks OC. OC twists out of it and arm throws him. Turbo and OC pose at each other. Turbo stops OC from putting his hands in his pockets. Turbo knocks him over and poses. The Runners miss elbow drops and OC puts his hands in his pockets. OC double dropkicks them with his hands in his pockets.

Truth chops Turbo on accident twice. The Runners almost hit the ref then OC almost hits the ref and hugs him. OC takes a double backdrop for 2. Truth boots OC from the 2nd rope. Truth kneedrops OC for 2.

Turbo slams OC then punches him. OC hits punches. Turbo misses a splash. The Runners are pushed into each other. OC topes Truth then top rope crossbodies Turbo. OC ddt's Truth then hits an orange punch on Turbo. OC superman punches Truth and wins it.

Thoughts: Why was this a handicap match? This is why I hate OC. They basically treat him as a comedic version of The Fonz. Him beating both Outrunners alone was bogus and this match should have never happened. This was a total burial.

Renee interviews The Learning Tree. Renee asks what they will do and who their partner will be. Bill says when all the cards are down, you get a new deck. Keith says if you want to play poker or pinnacle, you better respect Chris Jericho. Jericho is on the phone and says he has got a partner. He won't tell Renee who but says he's a real ring-a-ding-dong-dandy. 

Gabe Kidd and Roderick Strong vs The Infantry

I'm convinced someone set up a dartboard with various NJPW and AEW names and came up with this one by throwing darts at it.

Gabe boots Bravo then shoulders him over. Gabe knocks Dean off the apron then slaps Bravo. Gabe hits headbutts on Bravo. Bravo is chopped by both opponents. The Infantry hit stereo dropkicks.

Strong takes a double team that ends in a ddt for 2. Dean slams Strong then elbow drops him for 2. Strong uranage backbreakers Dean. We go to PiP break and return.

Dean's head is banged off the buckles and Strong runs around the ring and boots Bravo outside. Strong gutbusters Dean. The infantry stop a double team. Bravo hits forearms on both opponents. Bravo spinning forearms Gabe then neckbreakers Strong. 

Bravo does his crossover fakeout punch on Strong. Bravo slingshot cutters Gabe for 2. Bravo scissors kicks Strong and plancha's Gabe outside. Dean top rope splashes Gabe for 2. Strong trips Bravo then Dean takes a release backdrop from Gabe. Bravo takes shots then a piledriver from Gabe. Gabe gets the pin.

Thoughts: It was fine but nothing too special. Everyone did what they were supposed to here.

They announce Brodie Lee themed sneakers. 

AEW TNT Title Forbidden Door Qualifying Match - El Phantasmo vs. AR Fox

ELP = El Phantasmo

Fox rolls out of a wristlock and side headlocks him. Fox shoulders him over. They do some rolls and ELP flying headscissors him. ELP flying dropkicks him. ELP walks up the ropes and does rope tricks then headscissors Fox over.

Fox slingshot sentons him then tope con hilos him landing on ELP's neck. Fox top rope swantons ELP for 2. ELP flying forearms Fox. ELP atomic drops Fox then russian legsweeps him. ELP 2nd rope elbow drops Fox.

Fox boots ELP. ELP goes up and over then springboard twisting crossbodies him. ELP asai moonsaults him for 2. Fox kips down out of a lariat and enzugiri's him. Fox suplexes him then hits a 450 for 2.

ELP 2nd rope diving canadian destroyers Fox. ELP superkicks him then piledrivers him for the win.

Thoughts: It was what you would expect with lots of flying and not so much heel/face work or any other logic. Not awful or anything but it did go a little long.

Deonna Purrazzo is interviewed by Lexy. She is mad she wasn't asked about how it felt to make Thunder Rosa pass out. She says some people are so far behind in the race that they think they are leading. Deonna asks what Hikaru Shida has done lately. She said she won matches while Shida was at home. Deonna says The Owen Hart Tournament is not for part-timers and says she can't hold the cup up with a broken arm anyway.

Thoughts: This was a good promo here and Deonna really nailed it.

Shingo Takagi vs Dalton Castle

They lock up and DC swings him to the ropes. Shingo misses a chop on the break. Shingo shoulders him over then elbow drops him. Shingo misses a senton and we go to PiP break then full break with no warning. We return and DC hits chops and forearms on Shingo.

Shingo back body drops him off a side headlock attempt. Shingo walks on him and sentons him. Shingo hits a BCC style elbow flurry. DC suplexes him. Shingo back elbows him and DC lariats him.

DC flying knees him in the corner and bulldogs him for 2. Shingo stops a bangarang and does a gori bomb move. Shingo back elbows him then ddt's him.

Shingo hits a nice lariat then hits a made in Japan to win.

Thoughts: A lot of this got eaten up by the break. It didn't really have enough time and couldn't be as good as it should have been. The crowd wasn't too into this.

Saraya and Harley Cameron do a promo. She said she only lost out there because she wasn't by herself. She says Toni, May and Mina are a bunch of losers. Harley calls Saraya an unproblematic icon. Saraya says she has a cup, a title and a country that is waiting for her to come home. Saraya and Harley then toast.

Skye Blue vs Queen Aminata

Queen was doing good on TV then they relegated her to ROH for like 6 weeks for no reason. They roll each other up. Queen ducks a facekick and germans her. Skye rolls her up and Queen back rolls her. Queen snap suplexes her twice.

Skye cradles her for 2 then slaps her. Skye ducks a slap and slaps her again. Skye superkicks her. Skye step up knees her then kicks her through the ropes. Skye top rope crossbodies her outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Queen hits a nice forearm and a double chop. Queen running knees her for 2. Queen running knees her on the ropes then germans her on the apron. Queen misses a hip attack against the steps. Skye suplexes her off the steps to the floor. Skye hits a twisting full nelson slam. Queen headbutts her out of nowhere and wins it.

Thoughts: I think Queen is better than Skye but i didn't like how this was done. This was totally random with no build and therefore didn't get the reaction it should have nor did it mean what it should have. It was a pretty decent upset here too. I thought they did too much here with moves on the apron and floor not being enough to take them down.

Skye superkicks her after and sits on her back with a dragon sleeper. Red Velvet comes out to save Queen.

Overall thoughts: It was a night of random matches. There was no real build or meaning to any of this stuff and it was just ways to get NJPW wrestlers on the card. I hated the opener as The Outrunners got buried to OC's comedy. The tag match was okay as what ELP/Fox. Shingo/Dalton didn't really get enough time and got eaten up by commercials. The main had a surprise upset win but it had no build to it and nobody cared. The crowd brought this one down. So yeah, it was a mixed bag here but I've seen worse.

We are at Madison Square Garden today. Jade Cargill arrives.

We see Paul Heyman watching The Bloodline arrive. Jacob Fatu isn't with them and Paul asks where he is. Solo just pats him on the chest. The Bloodline heads to ringside. We see Cody, Orton and Owens arrive and go face to face with Bloodline. They all fight.

Orton hits headbutts on Tama and Owens uses production equipment on Loa. Owens swantons off the seats onto Loa through a table. Nick Aldis and security come down to break things up.

We go to break and return. Security surrounds the ring around the faces. I think Orton RKO's Michael Facade (an indy wrestler) and the rest of security are beaten up.

Owens says Bloodline is dumber than they look if they think they are waiting until MITB. Orton says they put Bloodline down for good at MITB. Cody says Bloodline sees three victims but he doesn't see it.

Cody says he sees a sold out MSG and says he should be defending his title here otnight but instead is fighting a war he thought he finished at Mania. Aldis comes out with police. He says he doesn't see a head of the table in Solo, he sees a seat filler.

The police escort Cody, Orton and Owens to the parking lot where a truck takes them away. Poor Orton's going out in his underwear essentially.

Women's MITB Qualifier - Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill vs Candace LeRae

Jade is double teamed. CL steps up on her back and sentons her. Jade takes a double suplex. Jade flips out of a double suplex and hits a double lariat. Jade swinging backbreakers CL then superkicks Tiff. Jade gorilla presses CL outside onto Tiff. Nia Jax comes out and we go to break.

We return and Jade is beaten up on the ropes. CL lariats Tiff. Bianca is now out there too. CL ddt's Tiff. Tiff handspring backflip back elbows Jade and misses one on CL. CL is thrown into a Jade spinebuster then Tiff dropkicks Jade for 2.

jade hits corner spears on Tiff then splashes CL. Jade misses a corner splash and goes out. Bianca puts her hands on Nia then Indi Hartwell pushes Jade into the post. Bianca chases Indi away.

Tiff gets her knees up on CL's asai moonsault then hits a prettiest moonsault ever to win.

Thoughts: It was a short threeway but they made the best of it that they could and pushed two other feuds in the process. 

Bayley talks to Naomi in the back. Naomi says if she wins MITB she may have to cash in on her. Bayley says they will talk about it later. Blair Davenport walks in and mocks them. She says Naomi isn't winning tonight and says Bayley's days as champ are numbered. Naomi says she will make her pay for that.

Michin tells Aldis that Nia jumped her and she wants a match with her.

B-Fab and The Street Profits talk to Aldis. They say they need to get their hands on Bloodline tonight. Aldis says they can talk about it for next week. Pretty Deadly come in. They say they are inspired by NYC and said they want to do "Pretty Deadly: The Musical". Dawkins isn't impressed and Ford says how about, "Pretty Deadly vs The Street Profits: The Beatdown". Aldis says he likes that idea.

Paul Heyman talks to Solo Sikoa in the back. He says Owens, Cody and Orton have been removed from MSG. He asks Solo to let him serve as The Wiseman. He asks what they are doing tonight and asks where Jacob Fatu is. Solo says he understands and says what's the point of having a wiseman if he doesn't take his advice. He says Jacob isn't here and won't be here. He says that's why he's his wiseman. He says he will make it official tonight. Paul looks confused.

Logan Paul comes out. He says he brought out Tyreke Haliburton, an Indiana Pacers player, who he says knows how to actually win. The announcers call it a trolljob. He stares down Jalen Brunson of the NY Knicks, who is seated in the front row. 

Men's MITB Qualifier - Santos Escobar vs LA Knight vs Logan Paul

LA goes after Paul and hits corner spears. He lariats Santos then Santos spears him and hits mounted punches. LA is double stomped on. Paul gutwrench suplexes LA. LA dropkicks Santos through the ropes. LA slingshot shoulderblocks Paul.

LA hits mounted punches on Paul. Paul alley oops LA. Paul planchas LA then Santos topes Paul. Paul's head is banged off the apron. Santos 2nd rope hurricanrana's Paul for 2. Paul alley oops Santos onto LA.

Paul and LA trade. LA hits a punch flurry then russian legsweeps him. LA ddt's Santos and Paul splashes Santos. LA backdrops Paul then Santos flying knees LA. LA does a cool tilt-a-whirl slam on Santos. LA elbow drops Santos then stomps on Paul.

Santos flying double knees LA then hits a cradle shock for 2. Santos chops Paul. Santos and Paul are up top. LA jumps up to the top and backdrops Santos. Paul top rope swantons LA for 2.

Paul calls for help from Tyrese. Tyrese grabs brass knucks from Jeff. Jalen Brunson hops the rail and argues with Tyreke in a fun moment. The refs get bwetween them. Santos double knees Paul in the corner then misses one on LA. LA BFT's Santos. Paul backrolls LA, LA rolls him back and wins it.

Thoughts: Oh man this was a super fun three way and maybe the best three way on TV all year. It was real fast paced and they had a built in storyline with Paul vs La. They did some nice spots here and the Brunson vs Tyrese thing was fun.

Paul and Tyrese get in the ring after. Tyrese gets brass knucks. Brunson grabs a chair and the two sides talk trash. Paul and Tyrese then back off.  

Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews talk in the back. Baron says he hopes LA knows what he's in store for at MITB. Crews is happy Santos has no chance of winning and Baron calls it karma. Carmelo Hayes comes in and Corbin asks if Carmelo Anthony is here. Melo says he wants to make a shirt that says, "Melo in the Bank". Crews says it's good he's confident, but he's in over his head. Melo says he pinned Orton last week. Melo says people should have their money on him and to take that to the bank. Corbin says he has no shot.

We get a tribute video on Sika.

We see some shots of various WWE shows at The Garden.

Andrade does a promo. He says MITB is a match where careers are made and dreams are destroyed. He says it's destiny for him. He says he fights to destroy not to win. He says he's here to take over. He says he's not just taking the briefcase, he's taking everything.

Women's MITB Qualifier - Blair Davenport vs Indi Hartwell vs Naomi

Naomi dropkicks both to start. Naomi slides out of a double clothesline and hits a double kick. Naomi is dropped down on a crossbody attempt and Blair rolls up Indi. Indi swings Naomi into Blair then powerbombs her. Blair double stomps Naomi while she's bridged on the apron.

Blair sends Indi into the stairs then double stomps her off the stairs. We go to break and return. Blair chinbreakers Indi. Naomi neckbreakers Indi and forces a ddt on Blair in the process. Naomi top rope double crossbodies her opponents.

Naomi 2nd rope twisting kicks Indi. Naomi split drops both for 2. Indi spinebusters Naomi then spinebusters Blair on Naomi. Naomi bulldogs Indi into Blair. Naomi split legged moonsaults Indi. Blair falcon arrows Naomi for 2.

The girls trade forearms. Blair hits a superkick then is facekicked by Indi. Naomi knees Indi then hits a heatseeker piledriver over the 2nd rope. Naomi kicks Blair off the ropes then misses a split legged moonsault. Indi pulls Blair out and swings her into the steps. Indi throws Naomi into the rails.

Jade Cargill comes down and hits forearms on Indi then throws her into the post. Naomi high kicks Indi, drops her on her butt and pins her.

Thoguhts: I wasn't a big fan of this. They tried some creative spots but couldn't hit them cleanly and that hurt things. Naomi dropping Indi on her butt looked dumb and it was hard to love Naomi for her basically getting help to win.

Byron Saxton interviews DIY ahead of their tag title match next week. Ciampa says they have a lot of history in Toronto. He says they will return to the same building where they won their tag titles. Austin Theory comes in. He said he thought about what they said. Austin says him and Waller will show up next week. Austin calls Waller his friend and Johnny says he's not his friend. Waller jumps Johnny from behind and throws Ciampa into a box. Waller pounds on Johnny and Austin pulls him off.

The Bloodline come out. Paul talks and Solo asks for the mic. Solo then brings out "The Samoan Werewolf" and his enforcer, Jacob Fatu. Fatu comes out and we go to break and return.

Solo asks MSG to "acknowledge me". Paul is shocked. Tama talks in Samoan and says he acknowledges him when Solo tells him to. Loa also acknowledges him. solo tells Jacob to acknowledge him. Jacob does and says he loves him. Solo tells Paul to acknowledge him and says it's his one chance. Loa gives Paul a necklace to put around Solo's neck. Solo says to acknowledge him.

Paul says he loves him and says he acknowledges that Solo is not his tribal chief. Solo samoan spikes him  and drops him. Paul spits up stuff. Fatu top rope headbutts Paul. Pau lthen takes a triple powerbomb throguh the commentary table and really slides down it on the landing. Solo yells at him then Fatu puts the necklace on Solo's neck.

The Bloodline then does the one finger point taunt and thye close the show. Nick Aldis is seen behind them.

Thoughts: It was a great angle here. Paul went the extra mile by not shaving, rubbing his eyes to make it seem like he cried and by taking a big bump. The angle perfectly sets up Roman returning as a face and was a real 10/10. The bad news is that Fox muted the sound for a lot of this, ruining the moment.

Overall thoughts: It was a pretty good show overall. We got a good brawl to start things off. LA/Paul/Santos had the best three way of the year. The stuff with the NBA players was good and the main event angle was good. Fox was not good though. They blackout the screen when they see something they don't like and did it multiple times here and they muted the audio a bunch of times, totally hurting the big angle at the end of the show.
