The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) vs The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson and Ace Austin)

JD wristlocks JR and JR reverses it. They front facelock each other and JR rides his back. JR pretends to pee on him and Zack asks if this is a joke to him. JR says "yes". JD hits forearms on JR then JR shoulders him over. JR then pretend to pee on him again and armdrags him.

JR takes corner attacks and a spinning heel kick for 2. JR leg lariats Zack then suplexes him. The Gang hits a senton + legdrop combo for 1. Ace kicks Zack from the apron. Ace slingshots over the post onto Zack. Ace takes a double stun gun in the ring. JD bangs Ace's head off the mat. 

Ace takes a double lariat for 2 and a suplex. Zack chinlocks Ace. JD then chinlocks Ace. Ace powers out and hits an AA. JR is tagged in. He hits punches on Zack and JD. JR hits a double flying crossbody. JR corner lariats his opponents. He trips Zack into JD's crotch. Zack takes an atomic drop then a helicopter kick + russian legsweep combo for 2. JD rolls up Ace for 2. They trade forearms. 

Ace is tripped into a baseball slide. JD jumps off his partner's back and leg lariats JR. Ace takes a michinoku driver + dropkick. Ace backrolls Zack for 2 then Zack rolls him up. Ace reverses the pin attempt for 2.  Ace handstands on the apron, gets caught and is superkicked. 

JD comes off the top and gets a JR forearm. JR ddt's Zack. JR ddt's JD then Ace hits the fold on JD. Ace pins JD.

Thoughts: It was a decent match as expected. I can't say I was shocked to see The Gang win since they are the higher ranked team, sadly. It maybe could have been a little faster but I was fine with this.

Jacked Jameson puts over his team on the mic before their match and says The Frathouse is where the best party. Vance says win or lose, we booze.

The Frat House (Griff Garrison, Jacked Jameson & Preston Vance) vs. SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin & Scorpio Sky) 

Vance offers Sky a drink and he dumps it out. Sky boots Vance out of the corner. Dante dropkicks Dance off a drop down. Dante armdrags Griff then flying armdrags him. Dante flying forearms Griff then standing moonsaults him for 1. 

Griff overhead belly to belly suplexes Dante for 2. Dante is stomped on and choked in the corner as Griff poses. Griff stomps Dante. DD takes a double team slam and a Griff knee drop for 2. Dante takes running corner attacks. JJ stomps on Dante's crotch in tree of woe.  

Dante suplexes Vance. Darius comes in and hits shots on Griff. Darius flying euros him. Griff takes a flying corner spear and an air raid crash. Darius is pulled out and sent into the steps. Griff spinning forearms Sky and JJ misses a crossbody on him on the ropes. Sky TKO's JJ in the ring and gets the pin. 

Thoughts: It could have gotten more time but what we got was okay. It was a fast paced bout. The Frathouse lose yet again. 

Lio Rush does a video with the ROH TV Title. He says the rain came then plays with some kind of black goo. He says "it's fine" and then something about a shadow. 

Bishop Kaun vs Royce Isaacs

Here's a random one with two tag wrestlers. BK side headlocks him and they shoulder battle. BK shoulders him over. RI leglocks him and KB ropebreaks. BK bangs RI's leg off the mat then sentons it. BK chops him in the corner. BK kicks the rope into his leg. 

BK corner splashes him. RI knees him in the chest and 2nd rope diving forearms him. RI euros him and chest kicks him down. RI corner lariats him several times. RI death valley drivers him for 2. 

BK forearms and chops him. BK germans him three times. BK knees him in the face. They trade forearms. BK hits wasteland on him then pedigrees him for the win.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout and it was fine. They traded some hard shots and made a nice fight of the time they got. Kaun wins, but does it matter?

Mina Shirakawa & Queen Aminata vs Kaci Lennox & Sahara Se7en

Mina locks up with SS. They trade forearms. SS misses a corner charge and Mina kicks her off the ropes. Mina flying lariats her. SS is tripped into a basement dropkick and PK. Mina kicks SS in the back, sending her into Queen's butt.

SS forearms Queen. Kaci comes in. Queen side headlocks her then rolls her up for 1. Kaci suplexes her. Kaci forearms her down then pulls her face ifrt into the mat. SS hits knees and a stunner on Queen for 2. 

Mina top rope dropkicks SS. Mina dropkicks Kaci in the knee and buzzsaw kicks her. Mina la mistica's Kaci. Queen top rope double stomps Kaci for 2. Mina urakens and forearms Kaci down. Mina figure fours her and submits her.

Thoughts: It was basically a squash. Queen and Mina's new kick to the back + butt to face spot is odd and creative. I don't expect this Queen and Mina team to last that long as Mina is paired up with too many others.

Caprice Coleman interviews Action Andretti. Action puts himself over. CC asks about what makes a good relationship with a friend. Action says it's about being with someone you can trust that will have your back. He says he thought he could trust Lio then he turned into The Blackheart behind his back. Action says he knows Lio, not The Blackheart. He says Lio is a crazy person, but he didn't know he was that crazy. He says he can't associate himself with weirdos like that. 

Action says his phone calls weren't being returned and he was being ignored. CC asks how Lacey Lane feels about this. Action says he likes Lacey but doesn't know her well. He says she's probably upset as she joined Cru and now it's over.  

Coleman asks him about the new version of himself. He says it's always been action. He says Lio isn't on his level. He says maybe they weren't meant to be. Action says he won't shake his hand as he doesn't know where it has been. 

The Colons (Eddie Colon & Orlando Colon) & Serpentico vs. The Lethal Twist (Blake Christian, Jay Lethal & Lee Johnson)

Jay shakes hands with Serp. Jay hits him in the gut. Serp fights out of the corner. Serp superkicks Jay then armdrags him into an armlock. Serp chops Jay outside. Jay takes a double hiptoss then a kick to to the face from Serp. 

Eddie hits punches on Jay and Jay takes a double kick from the Colon's. Eddie is speared on the apron and Jay is back body dropped out. OC is tripped into the ropes and Blake 619's him. Blake standing moonsaults outside. Lee hits mounted shots on Eddie. Blake running boots OC.

Jay snapmares OC and baseball slides him in the back of the head. Jay hits elbow drops on OC. OC cradles him for 2. Eddie is hot tagged in. He hits shots on the heels an 2nd rope dropkicks Lee. Eddie codebreakers Lee for 2. Serp slingblade bulldogs Lee. Jay hits a lethal combination on Serp. Blake rolls OC into a knee drop and Eddie tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Blake.

Serp superkicks Lee. Lee pulls Serp's mask off, Serp covers up and Lee pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't as good as it could have been. It didn't get really moving until the second half then that ended with a mask pull finish. It needed a lot more time and Blake didn't even really get to do his cool stuff here.

The heels take Serp's mask after. 

Pure Rules Match - Matt Menard vs. Mance Warner

MM has a new beard. Mance offers a handshake and shakes the ref's hand. MM then shakes the ref's hand and they compete to shake the ref's hand. They then both go out and start shaking the fan's hands. MM and Mance then shake hands in the ring and the bell rings. 

They back each other up in the corner and both force ropebreaks on the other. Both burn all 3 ropebreaks quick. Mance chops him on the apron and MM uranage's him there. MM hits forearms and chops. MM is thrown out. Mance grabs a chair and opens it up. Mance jumps off of it and tornad oddt's him on the floor.

Mance brings a chair in. He sits in the chair and chinlocks MM. MM elbows his way out and hits forearms on Mance. MM cutters him for 2. They trade shots on their knees. Mance implant ddt's him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. They treated it as a joke essentially and goofed around during the whole bout. 

Isla Dawn vs. Kelsey Raegan

ID shoves her when they go face to face. ID wristlocks her. KR side headlocks her. ID leg kicks her and boots her in the corner. Kel flying headscissors her and running back elbows her on the ropes. ID backdrops her. ID leg chokes her on the ropes. 

Kel is sent hard into the buckles. ID gordbusters her and meteora's her for 2. ID cobra clutches her then lariats her for 2. Kel rolls her up for 1. Kel superkicks her. Kel running corner euros her and chops her. Kel ddt's her for 2.

ID high kicks her and lifting reverse ddt's her. ID sits on her back and dragon sleepers her. Kel taps out.

Thoughts: It was very average and nothing of note here. Isla won as expected and Kelsey didn't impress. They didn't do anything too interesting in this one.

Isla puts the dragon sleepers back on after.

Satnam Singh vs. Bruss Hamilton

Bruss hits him from behind before the bell rings. Bruss tries flying shoulders and SS facekicks him down. SS chops him in the corner and bangs his head off the buckles. SS corner splashes him. 

Bruss jawbreakers him. SS slams him. SS stands on him. Bruss hits him in the back of the leg. SS lariats him while kneeling on one knee. SS chokeslams him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was all squash. SS wins again but still seems to be no closer to a title shot of any kind.  

We hear from Il Cartello Grillo (Hayden Seal, KayJay Impala & Rosario Grillo). Grillo introduces himself. He says he's been around the block here but was missing something. He says he found it and it's his family. He says KayJay will take you out before you see it coming and says Seal will make your head spin. Grillo says it's time for a takeover. Seal says it's always about Il Cartello Grillo, capice. 

The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) & The Von Erichs (Marshall von Erich & Ross von Erich) vs. Il Cartello Grillo (Hayden Seal, KayJay Impala & Rosario Grillo) & Nathan Cruz

Cruz hammerlocks Zach. Zach la magistral's him for 2. Zach boots him out of the corner and 2nd rope tornillos him. Marsh and Impala trade shots. Marsh his facekicks then dropkicks him in mid-air. Impala takes a double dropkick. Seal comes in and is armdragged by Ross. Ross PK's him for 2. Seal takes a double team combo that ends in a basement dropkick.

Ross flying facekicks Seal then boots the 2nd buckle when Seal moves. Seal stomps him. Cruz tags in and hits Ross in the gut. Cruz slingshot backdrops Ross. Ross takes an atomic drop into a basement dropkick for 2. 

Seal powerslams Ross. Ross avoids a double team and tags out. Zach comes in and beats up on the heels. Zach pulls down Grillo's leapfrog and germans him. Zach rolls Cruz into a PK. Zach handspring flying knees Seal for 2. Seal is catapulted into a superkick then takes a 2nd rope double stomp off of it. The Von Erich's hit stereo corner facekicks and a cannonball + corner dropkick. Zach is thrown into dropkicks on the jobbers. The Von Erich's do claws and Zach is pushed into an SSP on Seal. Zach pins him.

Thoughts: Grillo's crew officially debuted here and lost. Why? I have no idea, but it's not a good start for Grill's crew. It was a shorter bout and was pretty close to a squash here. 

Tehuti Miles vs LSG

TM is the former Ashante Adonis. TM wastes some time and dropkicks LSG. TM hits punches and boots in the corner. LSG goes up and over then atomic drops him. LSG throws him over by the wrist and la magistral's him for 2. LSG stunners him then flying kicks him. TM back elbows him down and hits elbow drops.

TM leg lariats him over the 2nd rope. TM powerslams him for 2. LSG hits chops on him. TM facekicks him. LSG back elbows him and boots him out of the corner. LSG rolls him up for 2. LSG hits a big punch and TM flying lariats him. 

TM corner spears him and flapjacks him. TM hits a high death valley driver and pins him.

Thoughts: It didn't do anything for me. LSG wasn't exactly a great face and TM wasn't that exciting here.

Shane Taylor Promotions comes out after and they seem to be interested in Miles.

ROH World Title Match - Bandido (c) vs. Bryan Keith

BK boots away Band's handshake. Band side headlocks him. BK snapmares him. Band avoids a kick. BK sweeps him and grabs the arm. Band points his finger gun at him, BK throws his poncho at him and drops him with a shot.

Band is sent into the rails outside. BK chops him down outside and rakes his eyes. BK chest kicks him inside and drops him. BK exploders him. BK facekicks him down. BK exploders him again. They trade exploders. Band backrolls him into a german. Band facekicks him out of the corner and top rope tornillo's him. 

Band superman forearms him a few times. Band topes him outside. Band springboard crossbodies him. Band pop up drops him for 2. BK jumps at him with a guillotine choke. BK knees him in the face or 2. BK spinning sitout powerbombs him for 2. 

BK grabs a fork and the ref takes it from him. BK grabs another fork and misses Band when he tries to stab him with it. BK facekicks him. Band hits a GTS for 2. Band chops him from the buckles and takes a headbutt. BK 2nd rope exploders him. BK running knees him for 2. Band hurricanrana's him by surprise and pins him.

Thoughts: I'm not sure what I expected out of this, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. BK did some basic heeling here and did a bunch of kicks and exploders. Band really didn't get that much offense in and wasn't as flashy as usual. Band won here as expected. I just thought this was so-so.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual ROH show. Almost everything was random and that made it hard to get invested. As always, there were few storyline development here and they had more matches than they had time. The first hour was better than the second hour. And despite having 11 matches, somehow only one champ was in action here. I didn't think this show was that good and I'd give it a 4 out 10 overall.

TNA Tag Titles - The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) (c) vs The Great Hands (John Skyler and Jason Hotch)

I feel like The Hands need to win here.

Jason boots Jeff and side headlocks him. Jason mocks his taunt and Jeff shoulders him over. Jeff does his taunt. Jeff hiptosses Jason. Jason takes double boots in the corner. 

Matt bangs Jason's arm off his shoulder. Matt neckbreakers Jason and Jeff elbow drops Jason for 2. Matt 2nd rope elbow drops John's arm. John pounds on Matt's knee. Jason yanks on Matt's leg. Jason hits corner spears on Matt. Jason bangs Matt's knee off his shoulder. 

Jeff tags in. he lariats and back elbows John down. He then atomic drops him and elbow drops him. Jeff hits a whisper in the wind. Jeff takes a samoan drop + flipping 2nd rope elbow drop. Matt saves Jeff. Jeff hits a twist of fate on John then Matt hits one on John. Jeff top rope swantons John. Jeff then pins him.

Thoughts: It was shorter and mostly to the point here. Jeff did a lot of the offense while Matt did a lot of the selling. I didn't like The Great Hands losing again here as the division is thin and I don't think they are breaking up soon. I hope there was a good reason for this. It was just average.

Tasha Steelz checks on The Hands after. Agent Zero and Mustafa Ali come out. Ali gets on the phone and walks backwards.

Lei Ying Lee is interviewed. Lee gets her rematch tonight for the title. She says Slammiversary was painful as she lost her title and a friend. She says Xia wants a title more than friendship. She says there's no excuses and no Angel Warriors tonight, just a fight. She says she will get her title back tonight.

Frankie Kazarian comes out to talk and brings out Moose. Moose talks about what he did in TNA. He says at Slammiversary, he shared a beautiful moment with his wife and son. Kaz says he traumatized his family. 

Moose says if anyone in the back wants some, they can get some. Moose says he's the face of the franchise. Kaz says everyone wants to be the face of TNA. He says Moose is in the conversation for face of TNA. Moose says he is the conversation. Kaz asks if he's stupid for calling himself the face of the franchise when he's in the ring with the king. Moose asks who crowned him king. 

Moose says he's been seeing people come and go and chase checks and stardom during his time here. He says he's not going anywhere and has made TNA home. Kaz puts himself over, saying he's a TNA original, a pioneer of the X-Division and a grand slam champ. Kaz says he's also a king.

Moose says they haven't fought each other and should do a match between them for the first time ever. Kaz says he's not interested. Kaz says he talked to someone. He says they agreed Moose is an idiot and says Moose's NFL career was almost as ugly as the women here.

AJ Francis comes out with Expressions. AJ says Tom Brady told him that Moose left the NFL as he's scared of him. Moose says he's tired of talking and wants to fight someone. He challenges AJ to a match. Expression calls him a hot dog with eyebrows and says we do things on AJ's time, not Moose's time. Expressions says they accept, but not tonight. That match will be next week.

Elijah does a promo. He says his goal has be the TNA Title since he came here. Eli says he and his friends are heading to the promised land.

Vicki Venuto does an inset promo before her match. She says she has spent her life chasing the dream to be a wrestler. She says she gets to live out the dream tonight. She says she's here not to make friends but statements. She says what the bad chick wants, she gets.

Indi Hartwell does an inset promo before her match. She says the Knockouts TV Title is a way for her to cement her legacy. She says she can't lose with the people and she won't quit. 

TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament First Round - Vicki Venuto vs Indi Hartwell

Indi waistlock takedowns her and goes for a pin attempt. Indi helps her out and VV boots her in the gut. VV forearms heri n the corner and bangs her head off the buckles. VV foot chokes her. Indi running facekicks her for 2. Indi bulldogs her. 

VV lariats Indi for 2. VV suplexes her for 1. VV snapmares her and mule kicks her in the chest for 2. Indi is sent into the buckles for 2. VV basement dropkicks her for 2. Indi jawbreakers her. VV misses a corner charge and is rolled up for 2. Indi running lariats her. Indi spinebusters her for 2. 

VV cutters Indi for 2. Indi hits full nelson slam on her and pins her.

Thoughts: This was basically Indi vs Indi here as both wrestlers are similar and at the same level skill wise. It was below average and not that good. Indi went back to doing her full nelson slam here after not doing it for a while and it was sloppy as usual.

TNA Injury Report

The Personal Concierge's eye injury persists. Lei Ying Lee is cleared from a leg injury. Allie has a neck injury and is out. Nic Nemeth is in the best shape of his life. 

Fabian Aichner does a video. He says he's here to prove he's the best wrestler. He says he loves Italy as the people are lay back. He says it will always be home. He says he became a pro skier at 10 years old, turned on wrestling one day and got into it. He says he won't stay down because others say so. He says he achieves his goal and his next goal is the X-Division Title. He says having the title will prove he's the #1 guy in TNA. 

He says Cedric Alexander is an opportunist and smart. he says he will step in the ring with a different mentality against him and will prove he's #1.

Leon Slater & Ricky Sosa vs. The Righteous (Dutch & Vincent) vs. The System (Bear Bronson & Brian Myers)

Leon side headlocks Brian and shoulders him over. Leon enzugiri's him. Dutch boots Leon. Leon handspring back elbows him. Dutch takes a double superkick then takes another that sends him out. Sosa pop up dropkicks Bear. Sosa and Leon then do stereo dives outside. 

We go to break and return. Dutch beats up on Leon and chops Bear. Bear ducks Leon's rewind kick and sky high's him for 2. Bear hits mounted shots on Leon. Brian grounded chinlocks Leon. Brian throws him down then runs into Leon's leg lariat. 

Sosa comes in and hits kicks on all four opponents. Sosa half-nelson slams Bear then asai moonsaults him for 2. Bear running lariats Vince. Leon leg lariats Bear. Everyone starts coming in to hit a move and Dutch black hole slams Brian. Bear and Dutch go head to head. They trade shots. 

Dutch is pulled over the top. Bear diving shoulders Dutch off the apron. Leon corkscrew dives his opponents over the post. Sosa flying euros Bear and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a compact bout. We didn't get a ton of it but it wasn't short on action. Leon and Sosa winning isn't the worst choice, but none of their opponents are strong teams because they lose dumb matches like this. Leon and Sosa work fine as a team as both are similar wrestlers.

Santino Marella dances to Sosa's theme in the back. Daria Rae accuses him of picking favorites. Ryan Nemeth comes in. He says KC Navarro is a pink haired doofus and he knows he will say things about Nic Nemeth. Daria tells him to do what he has to do if he needs to say something and Santino gives the opposite advice. Daria rips Santino as usual for his take.

Gabby Forza does an inset promo and is wearing a gnome dunce cap with some goofy Road Warrior shoulderpads. She says, "it's your homie, the gnomie". She says she's not here to make friends, she's here to win gold and it starts with Jody Threat. She says gnomes love gold and she does it for the gnomes.

Jody Threat does an inset promo. She says he's been gone for a while and has been preparing. She says she loves Gabby and they go far back but nothing will stand between her and the new title.

TNA Knockouts TV Title Tournament First Round - Jody Threat vs Gabby Forza

Jody is in better shape here with near reggae colored gear. JT wristlocks her and side headlocks her. JT shoulderblocks her. They both yell at each other and JT shoulders her over. JT pump kicks her then hits corner lariats. 

JT forearms her from the apron and bangs gab's head off the buckles. JT running lariats her and crossfaces her. Gab rams her backwards in the corner and hits corner spears. Gab hits an oklahoma stampede. Gab vader bombs her for 2.

JT rolls her up for 2. JT back elbows her. They lariat each other at the same time. Gab is tripped into the ropes and JT double knees her from behind there. JT germans her. JT basement dropkicks her back, knocking her off apron. JT cannonballs her off the apron. 

Gab hits a hard lariat in the ring. Gab powerslams her. Gab spinning torture rack bombs her for 2. JT flying crossbodies her. JT F-5's her and pins her.

Thoughts: I don't like Gabby's gnome gimmick and she looks like a total idiot with the gnome cap on. Other than that, she comes across as maybe a better version of Dani Luna as she does all power and explosive moves. She did okay here, though the bar is a bit low in this division. Jody won as expected. It was acceptable.

Mustafa Ali talks in the mirror. He says change is needed. He tells someone we can't see to set up a State of Order 4 meeting and says attendance is mandatory.

KC Navarro comes out to talk. He says he learned a hard lesson last week. He says he spent a lot of time with a man he looked up to and says he turned on him. He says he doesn't know what he did to Nic Nemeth. He tells him to be a man and tell him why he did what he did. 

Nic Nemeth comes out. He says he thought he could make him into something special with time but says no one has that much time. He says KC didn't deserve to stand near him. He says KC is pretty good but he doesn't have it. KC says he busted his butt to get here and has it. 

He says he just beat Nic's brother and Nic's brother doesn't it. Ryan Nemeth then hits KC from behind. Nic says it's easy to say blood is thicker than water but says KC never deserved to be in his shadow. He tells KC to never come near him or his family again. He tells him to drop it, lose his number and leave him alone.

TNA Knockouts Title - No DQ - Xia Brookside (c) vs Le Ying Lee

Lee dropkicks her as she poses on the ropes. Lee pounds on her outside. Lee pump kicks her outside. Lee misses a corkscrew kick and kicks the steps. Lee stomps Xia and elbow drops her.

Lee stomps on Xia. Lee hits mounted forearms. Lee topes her. We go to break and return. Xia whips Lee with a belt. Xia pushes the belt into Lee's head. Xia chokes Lee with the belt. Lee spinning heel kicks her, sweeps her and running knees her. Lee shotgun dropkicks her.

Lee hits mounted shots in the corner. Lee exploders her. Lee throws weapons in and pulls a table out. Xia's head is banged off the table. They get on the apron. Xia hits her with a kendo stick in the ring. Xia chokes Lee with the stick. 

Lee jumps off the apron onto Xia. Lee hits Xia with a chair multiple times. Xia jawbreakers her and takes a pump kick. Lee piles up chairs in the ring. Lee misses a twisting swanton off the top and lands on the chairs. Xia hits Lee with a title for 2. 

They trade forearms on their knees. Xia blocks a shot with a chair and ddt's her on a chair. Xia pins her.

Thoughts: It was below average. They weren't going to bleed. They didn't do anything too wild here and the two are just limited workers. It was just people doing weapons shots and doing basic moves for the most part. Xia also got her butt kicked for most of this and didn't get all that much in.

Overall thoughts: It was a slightly below average show. TNA never had a ton of star power and all of the recent poaches and releases really weakened their roster. They are basically one step above a higher indy promotion at the moment talent wise and it's going to take quite a while to fix it. They currently have the weakest roster they have ever had. There was nothing that good here and everything was below average to average. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as at least everything made sense but this promotion has seen some much better days. I don't even think there was a match of the night here.

Ivy Nile vs Lizzy Rain

They lock up. Ivy backs her up in the corner. They shove each other and Ivy side headlocks her. Ivy shoulders her over. Rain kicks her in the knee and low spinning heel kicks her. Rain fisherman suplexes her. Ivy sweeps Rain on the ropes then lariats her.

Ivy stomps her in the corner and flying chest kicks her. Ivy germans her for 2. Ivy top wristlocks her. Ivy backdrops her for 2. Rain chops her and lariats her. Rain back elbows her and high kicks her. Rain suplexes her.

Rain running headbutts her. Ivy superkicks her in the gut. Rain cradles Ivy for 2. Ivy high kicks her the swinging pendulum slams her for the win.

Thoughts: It was just average. Ivy's not super exciting and doesn't have much logic to what she does. Rain mostly just did the basics but she got over a little here. 

Grayson Waller vs Je'Von Evans

Evans poses on the ropes and GW throws him down. GW hits a straight punch. Evans flips off the bottom rope and hits some punches. Evans dropkicks him then seated springboard hurricanrana's him. Evans dropkicks him out then topes him.

Evans top rope crossbodies GW for 2. GW running boots Evans in the face, knocking him off the apron. GW slides out and lariats him. GW bangs Evans' head off the commentary table. GW rolls in with a rolling flatliner for 2.

GW hits mounted forearms. GW hits back elbows. Evans facekicks him. Evans hits forearms. GW double stomps off an up and over for 2. GW misses a 2nd rope elbow drop. Evans superkicks him twice. GW jumping knees him. Evans germans him and GW spinning forearms him out. 

GW slides out and is superkicked. Evans suicide dives him. Evans springboard lariats him for 2. GW spinning forearms him. GW comes off the 2nd rope and Evans superkicks him. Evans throws him face first into the buckles and flying knees him. Evans pins him.

Thoughts: I liked it. It was athletic and they didn't take it easy here at all. Both guys flew around here. I thought it was a fun match and it easily the best thing on this show. 

Overall thoughts: We had 2 new matches here. The women's match was average and while their offense wasn't that exciting, they didn't botch or screw up. The men's match was a lot better and a TV worthy match with them flying around. There's nothing you need to see here, but you could see all the new content quick and it wasn't a bad way to spend 15 minutes or so.

Mark Roberts, Joe Dombrowski and Veda Scott are on commentary.

Barnabas The Bizarre yells at The Outbreak. Jeff the ref is in line too. He says one of them could be the father of Jasmin St. Claire's baby. He says this nightmare won't end and says never again.

Vito walks past them and says he' not the father. He then threatens them. Mac Davis leaves the room and the ref asks if he hit it too. Mac says everyone gets a turn. The doc tells Barn to come in for his test and he says he can't be the father. Barn goes in for the test. 

I will not be covering J-Rod vs Sonny Kiss. J-Rod won. Haley J came out and hit shots on J-Rod after and helped Sonny Kiss out.

Big Vito yells at Sally Boy in the back. He says him a stupid SOB and says he's dumb like his father. He says his father was an @sshole. Vito rips him more and tells him to wise up. He grabs him by the throat and kicks the camera man out.

Vince Russo, Caleb Konley and Father Bronson talk. Russo calls them two great champs and the future of JCW. He says this will be a main event someday but Bron has important business. He asks if he knows what a win over Josh Bishop means. He says it means he has catapulted himself to the top. He asks if Bron can take care of business for them. Bron says he can and is excited.

Joel Gertner walks in and Bron leaves. Russo says he heard about Joel's past and says he has a set of balls on him. He says Joel is determined to play a game with them. Joel asks if he wants to play a game and Russo says he has a bat. Joel says he's upset as Russo says he won't do business. 

Joel says Russo isn't talking about business but money. Joel says he has everything he needs and he says his life is surrounded by big money. He says this is all about legacy. Russo tells him to worry about Father Bronson instead. 

Joel says he just got back here and is the manager of champs already. He says WWE acknowledged him as one of the top 50 talkers in history. Russo asks if he wants him to acknowledge him then gives him the finger and says there's his acknowledgement. Joel tells the cameraman that Russo may think he's invincible and can't be denied. Joel says he can't be denied and Josh Bishop is invincible. He says his legacy and Caleb's fate will be sealed next week. 

Steven Flowe vs The Purple Phantom

Steve has The Ring Rat with him and gives her the gold guitar her got, which is all duct taped up. 

PP goes to take his cape off and struggles. Steve rolls him up for 2. Steve hits punches and chokes him with the cape. PP hits a big boot and gets his cape off. PP stomps on Steve and elbow drops him. 

Steve boots him in the leg from behind and low basement dropkicks him. Steve elbow drops him with some theatrics for 2. PP boots him in the gut and pumphandles him into a ddt. PP hits chops and corner splashes. Steve tries to casadora roll him and he is package tombstoned for 2.

PP misses a boot in the corner. PP goes down and The Rat unties PP's shoes. Steve ties PP's boots together. Steve top rope crossbodies him. Steve then top rope elbow drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: Phantom lost as expected but this got some time to play out at least. It wasn't the best match ever as it had some silliness with Phantom getting his shoes tied together but it could have been worse.

We seemingly hear The JWO beating up Vincenzo in the locker room, but we only see the door.

CoKane is looking for Big Al in the back.

J-Rod and Sophia Rose are interviewed. J says they worked out their differences and fighting only makes them stronger. J says there's a lot of drama in the locker room. She says the only thing that is personal is bringing back the JCW Women's Title where it belongs.

#1 Contender's Match - Juggalo World Order (2 Tuff Tony and Willie Mack) vs The Backseat Boyz (JP and Tommy Grayson)

Choppa City are on commentary for this and kick Mark Roberts out of commentary. Tommy has the long hair.

All 4 men fight to start. Mack chops JP in the corner and flying shoulders him. Tony foot chokes Tommy. Tony chops Tommy in the back and chest. Tony back body drops him. Tommy takes a double shoulderblock. 

Mack fallaway slams Tommy. Mack hits punches on JP. Mack is crotched on the bottom rope on a failed bronco buster. Mack's crotch is pulled into the post for 2. Mack's legs are split. Tommy legdrops him in the gut for 2. The Boys hit a double back elbow and JP legdrops Mack for 2. 

Mack takes a double team in the corner and a double bulldog. JP stomps Mack and front facelocks him. Mack takes a double ddt for 2. Mack hits a double lariat. Tony tags in and hits lariats on The Boyz. Tony hits punches on JP and slams Tommy. Mack bronco busters JP in the corner. Tony asai moonsaults Tommy. JP goes up top and is double thrown down. Big Vito and Sally Boy get on the ramp. 

Tommy dropkicks Mack from behind and JP rolls up Tony with the tights to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't bad and they worked the usual tag match with the faces getting beaten up and making their comeback. I was surprised to see The Boyz win, but it wasn't a clean win here.

Vito beats Tony with a kendo stick after. Sally hits Mack with a baking sheet. Violent J just watches from ringside. J gets in and Vito threatens him with a kendo stick. Vito asks where Vincenzo is. Yabo comes on the ramp. Vito swings the stick at him. 

Music hits and Ruffo comes in the ring. He hits Vito with a wet floor sign and spinning lariats Sally. Vito then gets hit in the face with the sign. Yabo then hits Vito with the sign. Sally Boy then gets knocked out of the ring. Vito is back body dropped out. Yabo and Ruffo stomp Sally and rip his shirt off. Violent J spray paints "JWO" on Sally.

The Backseat Boyz and The Purple Phantom are in line for their paternity test. JP says he thought Jasmin liked him. Phantom says they same. The Boyz offer a hug and give him middle fingers. Willie Mack comes out and sings "the kid is not my son". Cameraman Jeff then comes out. Jeff then says "two words for ya, birth control" to The Boyz.

The JWO, Yabo and Ruffo celebrate Ruffo being back. Mac Davis asks what happened to him during the time he was taken. He says they beat him and tortured him. He says he has toenails missing. He says they put his head in a vice. He says he knows it was Vincenzo and he will get his one day. Violent J says that day is now as Vincenzo is in the room behind them. Ruffo then heads in to beat up Vincenzo. 

We see Dani Mo destroying Barnabas' car with a sledgehammer.

Barnabas is interviewed. Mac tells him Dani is destroying his car. Barn flips out and says he knew it. Barn asks if Dani thought he would just go away. He says his DNA is flowing through her body but says she didn't inherit his intellect. He says she chose this life and path and he will unleash a horde of horrors on her. He says he will drag her into the pits of hell and beyond.

The Purple Phantom asks Violent J for another chance and a do over. J says all he has done is make him and JCW look like fools in 2 different colors. J says the same thing happened that always happens - massive amounts of sucking. Phantom asks for a do over. J says there's no do overs in wrestling. Phantom asks why. J says...he doesn't know. J then agrees to a last chance.

The Purple Phantom comes out. He says "f*ck that cape". He says he came to rid JCW of evil and failed. He says Steven Flowe owes him a rematch and he wants it now. Steven Flowe then comes out. Steve asks if Phantom is kidding him. He says he has something even better and says he bet Phantom can't even beat The Ring Rat. Steve asks for a ref to come out. 

The Purple Phantom vs The Ring Rat

The Rat low blows PP then kicks him in the crotch. The Rat hits a stunner and pins Phantom.

Thoughts: Oh things are not going well for the poor Purple Phantom...

CoKane hears someone begging for help. Big Al is handcuffed to something. She says she's gonna kill that b!tch (HoKane).

Blast from the Past

It's a JCW Tag Title Eliminator Match with The Headbangers vs Necro Butcher and Mad Man Pondo vs The Rock and Roll Express vs The Ring Rydas. The Ring Rydas beat The Headbangers in the end and win the tag titles.

Joel Gertner comes out with Josh Bishop and says the people are allergic to money. Father Bronson comes out and says the town come to get some good Red Love. Joel asks what Red Love is all about and thinks it's a foot fetish as Bronson is barefoot. Bron says he comes as pure as it comes. Bron says he had a dream that they would dance in a better place than Saginaw, Michigan. Bron says they should do this on a bigger stage which is TBD. Joel says when Josh fights him, it won't be TBD but 123. Bron accuses him of Joel calling him a chickensh!t. Joel says he didn't call him that. He says he was into Red Love and was going to ask him more about it, but he doesn't get the Red Love vibe. He says he sees a tail between his legs and says he flows with red fear. Bron says it's not true. He says he's not afraid of Josh and will show him the red line. Josh then stomps his bare foot.

Bron pulls a pipe out and hits Josh in the knee with it. Bron stomps Josh and chokes him with it. Bron then hits him in the head with the pipe. 

Caleb Konley then comes out and hits Josh in the head with it. Caleb and Bron exit together and seem to be aligned now.

We go to HoKane in the back. She is looking for Big Al. Al bangs HoKane's head off a fence then off a box. Al chokes HoKane with a cord. Al says she will leave her with no breath left next time. Barnabas comes in. He says what they reject, he embraces. He then says "welcome to my family" to HoKane.

Overall thoughts: Nothing was awful wrestling wise of what I saw, but there was nothing here you'd want to go out and see. We didn't get a main event here which was disappointing. Non-wrestling wise, the storylines were good though as usual. The Jasmine St. Claire pregnancy stuff is fun. The Ring Rat is still losing. Vito's segments are always fine and The JWO is running wild. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as the non-wrestling stuff worked out well and made for a fun show here. This also only went about 95 minutes which was much appreciated.

We are at the Performance Center. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Sloane Jacobs is on a phone in the back trying to plan Nikkita Lyons' celebration tonight. She says we will celebrate her as champion with the grandest party ever seen.

Robert Stone and Blake Howard welcome us to the show and are in front of the ring.

The Mog Squad come out. Max says they are on a generational run by looksmaxing and winmaxing. Max talks about their win and CJ Valor says it was more than just a win. Max says they swept their opponents last week. Ball says they are the fastest rising team in Evolve. Max says CJ is the x factor and no one wants to mess with him. Max says "mog real quick" and they all pose. Max says they are taking it all the way.

Timothy Thatcher comes out. He says we will find out if CJ Valor is the x factor right now. Cutler James comes out. 

CJ Valor vs Cutler James

Cutler side headlock takeovers him twice and Valor headscissors him twice. Cutler shoulders him over and side headlocks him. Cutler hits a big spear and Valor rolling armbars him. Cutler fireman's carry takeovers him. He armdrags him then hiptosses him for 2.

Valor dropkicks him from behind. Cutler hits corner spears. Cutler pop up euros him. Cutler misses a corner spear and goes out. The heels pose. We go to break and return. Valor backrolls him into a german. Valor hits punches and sends Cutler shoulder first into the buckles.

Cutler's head is banged off the buckles and Valor dropkicks him. Valor spinebusters him for 2. Valor knees him in the gut and short arm clotheslines him. Valor misses a 2nd rope splash. Cutler lariats him and back elbows him. Cutler swinging backbreakers him. 

Cutler pop up drops him and hits gutbusters. Cutler hits a whirlybird and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. One of my big complaints about the new Evolve guys is that they are smaller guys. Valor looked like a midget compared to Cutler. He absolutely mogged him...and Valor is part of The Mog Squad. Cutler's not exactly Andre the Giant either. I don't know who we were supposed to cheer for either here since both guys are heels that aren't super over to begin with. This was just bad matchmaking.

The Mog Squad go to leave. Timothy Thatcher asks where they are going. He says they are the fastest rising team here and they need to get back in the ring.

The Mog Squad (Santi Rivera and Jacari Ball) vs Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno

Ball takes down RM and rolls him. RM rolls him and release overhead suplexes him. SR wristlocks Dar then Dar fireman's carry takeovers him. Dar hits chest kicks then punches him down for 2. Dar bangs SR's arm off his shoulder. Ball side headlocks Dar. Ball takes an overhead throw and is PK'd for 2. Ball matchka kicks RM out. 

We go to break and return. We see Sloane Jacobs inviting girls to the celebration tonight. Zena Sterling comes in and Sloane tells her to get out. SR hits corner spears on Dar. Ball then hits corner spears. RM boots SR out of the corner. 

Ball jumps off SR's back and Ball corner splashes RM. Ball dropkicks RM for 2. RM hits punches on Ball. RM hits a double clothesline. Dar comes in. He gets offense in on the heels and high kicks Ball down. Dar dropkicks Ball. Dar then puts Ball in an armbar. Ball turns it into a pin attempt.

Ball takes a bridging cutter + springboard dropkick for 2. RM kicks SR off the bottom rope. RM misses a top rope moonsault. RM takes a codebreaker into a german. The ref counts 3 but RM's foot is on the ropes. The Squad think they have it won and go out. RM tope con hilos The Squad. RM springboard dropkicks Ball. Ball takes like a double suplex and is pinned.

Thoughts: The match wasn't anything too special. I don't get why they had The Squad lose here. They went over big last week with 3-0 win in an elimination match and they start off 0-2 here. Why? With that being said, the heels did get screwed as they had a 3 count counted but the match continued.

Max Abrams blames Thatcher for the loss. Thatcher says Max is going to wrestle next week against a guy he attacked in Chazz "Starboy" Hall. 

Aaron Rourke and Harlem Lewis talk in the back. Lewis says he won't let his title opportunity go. He says the title represents his future. AR says he knows his history and he doesn't have to explain. He says Lewis showed him the man he is against The Mog Squad. Lewis says AR made history but every story comes to an end. Lewis says all we have is what we are willing to fight for. Lewis says he's been suppressing anger all his life and he's done suppressing when they fight. AR says he's been beaten down too an he doesn't show it. He says he will show the world he's glamour and grit. They pound fists.

Kale Dixon and his new girl do a photoshoot. They talk about how good they look and take photos. 

Harley Riggins vs Ulka Sasaki

This is Ulka Sasaki's WWE TV debut. He's from NOAH in Japan and he used to do MMA. NOAH basically sent him here to get more seasoning.

Ulka offers a handshake and HR kicks it aray. Ulka hits euros and they shoulderblock battle. Ulka jawbreakers him then shoulders him over. Ulka rolls him into an armbar. HR tilt-a-whirl slams him. 

HR facekicks him and punches him in the corner. HR piefaces him and elbows him over the back of the neck. Ulka sunset flips him. HR blocks a cradle and suplexes him for 2. HR side headlocks him and elbow drops him.

HR is tripped into the buckles. Ulka hits chops and forearms. Ulka spinning forearms him and pumping knees him from the side for 2. HR pop up knees him in the face and pins him.

Thoughts: Ulka got no hype or anything here and he basically looked like a guy they just pulled off the street. The match went alright. Ulka loses in his TV debut for unknown reasons.

Adrianna Rizzo is the new ringside interviewer and she talks to Harley Riggins. She asks where Kam Hendrix is. HR says it's time The Big Rig rides alone. He tells Tate Wilder to go back to medical and says he parks his big rig where he wants.

Elijah Holyfield works out with Noam Dar in the ring. Eli shows him clips of his match with Brooks Jensen. He wants a counter for getting his face pulled into an exposed buckle. Dar say Brooks is a vet and they practice the position. Brooks Jensen walks in and watches without them seeing him. We cut ahead. Eli thanks him and Dar says he can't wait to watch him put the work in. Dar says Brooks sucks.

Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov do a video. They said they started off at security are judo Olympians and are more than that. They says they kicked the door down. They say they are bigger, better and badder than everyone in Evolve. They say their time at security is over and they aren't leaving. Zanov says they will do what they want when they want.

They have a table set up with some decorations for Nikkita Lyons' title celebration. 

Sloane has Gianna Capri and Veronica Haven with her. They bring Nikkita Lyons out. Lyons signs her theme song to the ring. Sloane says no one deserves this more than Lyons. Lyon says she envisioned this moment and makes a crack about more people not being here. Sloane says she should invite more guests out. No one else comes out.

Lyons wants to talk about her next challenger. Sloane kisses more butt. She says Choo's title run was a fluke and Luck got a handout tile shot. 

Wren Sinclair comes out. Lyons tells her its the wrong show. Wren says she got an invitation. She says Evolve is where anything can happen and says she wants to add the Evolve Title to the NQCC. Skylar Rae then comes out. She says Wren has a good point and she should be in contention for the title due to winning LFG. Layla Diggs then comes out.

Sloane complains and says this is a party and everyone's coming out to challenge for titles. Diggs says she's going to be on her own. She says she beat Lyons once and wants to run it back. Diggs and Capri face off, Diggs is hit from behind and all the girls fight. Everyone but Lyons fights to the back. Laynie Luck, with new hair, comes in and AA's Lyons through the table. Luck then holds up the Evolve Women's Title.

Thoughts: It's hard to have wrestlers in two promotions at once and we saw one of the problems with that here. Diggs is aligned with Lyons in NXT, but not in Evolve and Diggs was making challenges at Lyons here. This wasn't much of a celebration and maybe it not being super flashy was part of the point.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't a good episode of Evolve. We had a bunch of random matches. The Mog Squad won big last week then dropped two matches in a row here. They exposed CJ Valor by putting him up against Cutler James. Ulka Sasaki debuted with no hype and lost. Adrianna Rizzo is the new interviewer, which I don't have a problem with as she's a very entertaining person but seems to be injury prone. We then had a celebration for Nikkita Lyons where they forgot that Diggs and Lyons are aligned in NXT and had Diggs challenging her here. I'd give this a 3 out of 10 as this show was bad.

El Desperado, Masatora Yasuda, Taichi & Yuya Uemura vs. House Of Torture (DOUKI, Ren Narita, SANADA & SHO)

Sho talks on the mic before the match and HoT rush the faces before the bell. Sho chokes Despy in the ring. Despy slaps his opponents. Despy takes a knee to the gut and a double stomp to the gut. Sanada throws Despy out. Ren hits Despy in the gut with a chair then Despy is sent into the post. 

Despy takes spears ijn the corner and has all 4 limbs pulled on. Ren stomps Despy and Despy slaps back. Sanada trips Despy from the outside and Ren gets a shot in on Despy. Ren is tripped by the faces then Despy basement dropkicks him. 

Yuya goes up and over Ren then hits armdrags on 3 heels. Yuya then hits triple dropkicks. Yuya slams Ren for 2. Yuya armbars him. Sanada dropkicks Tai in the knee then Tai facekicks him. Ren throws Tai out.

Yuya and Ren butt heads. Ren chokes him. Yuya 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Masa comes in and Douki works his knee. Masa hits a big dropkick. Tai clubs Douki down then throws Masa onto him off the top for 2. Douki gori specials Masa and pins him.

Thoughts: It was short and nothing of note. We didn't get to see much of anyone here and it was a waste of all of these guys.

Aaron Wolf, Hirooki Goto, Oleg Boltin & Tatsuya Matsumoto vs. Unbound Co. (Daiki Nagai, Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji & Yuto-Ice)

Tat and Nagai go at it. They do some amateur wrestling. Tat shoulders him over then Nagai dropkicks him. Tat's head is banged off the buckles. Tat is double shouldered over. Shingo elbow drops Tat. Shingo suplexes Tat.

Yota slams Tat. Tat hits forearms on him. Tat flying euros Shingo then he dropkicks Yota. Goto comes in and running lariats Shingo. He then suplexes Nagai onto Shingo for 2. Goto spinning heel kicks Yota in the corner. Wolf suplexes Yota then elbow drops him for 2.

Yota superkicks, pumping knees and flatliners Wolf. Wolf hip throws Yota. Ice and Oleg get in. Ice hits chest kicks on him. Oleg shoulders him over. Oleg corner splashes Ice and karelin's lifts him. Ice slap and punch flurries Oleg. Oleg belly to belly suplexes him. 

Ice superkicks him in the gut and chest kicks him down. Nagai comes in and dropkicks Oleg in the knees and chest. Oleg takes corner attacks. Oleg is dropkicked then Shingo running lariats Oleg. Oleg double shoulders Yota and Shingo.

Oleg catches Nagai's flying headscissors and Nagai sunset flips him off of it. Nagai slaps Oleg and Oleg finlay rolls him. Oleg then pins him.

Thoughts: It was an alright tag. Ice hit some good shots and Nagai was fiery as usual. Not everyone got to do all that much here and it definitely could have used double the time.

Jado & Tiger Mask vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) vs. Unbound Co. (Gedo & Taiji Ishimori)

Togo's team slides out to start. Gedo hits shots on Tiger. TI and Gedo dosey-do. Tiger forward rolling double mule kicks Gedo. Tiger tilt-a-whirl backbreakers TI. Jado chops Gedo in the corner. Jado is double foot choked. Togo 2nd rope double axe handles Jado. Kanemaru hits knees on Jado's shoulder. 

Gedo eye rakes TI. Gedo and Togo trade punches. Togo eye pokes him and punches him. Jado's arm is yanked on by Kanemaru. Kanemaru is sent into Togo. Jado shoulder Kanemaru over.  

Tiger hits kicks on the heels. Togo eye rakes Tiger. Togo throws Tiger out. TI handspring back elbows Togo and Kanemarue, then he slingshot plancha's Togo. Kanemaru kneebreakers Gedo, bangs his knee off the mat and figure fours him. Togo crossfaces TI at the same time. Jado puts a crossface on Kanemaru at the same time.

Kanemaru takes running corner attacks from 4 people. Kanemaru is held upside down and they try to get Tiger to do the 2nd rope chop to the crotch. Tiger does it. Tiger htis a tiger driver on Kanemaru for 2. Togo hits TI with a weapon then chokes Jado with it. Tiger high kicks Togo out. Kanemaru spits Mist in Tiger's eyes and rolls him up for the win.

Thoughts: The line-up on paper for this one pretty much said it all. It looked like a heel dominated match without a ton of excitement and that's what it was. Tiger doing the 2nd rope crotch chop was amusing though.

G1 Climax 36 Block B Play-In Match - Yujiro Takahashi vs. OSKAR

Os running facekicks Yujiro then he puts him in a sleeper. Sho rings the bell to make it seem like it is over when it isn't. Os lets go of the hold. Yujiro clips Os from behind. Os is thrown out and House of Torture beat him up outside. Os' knees are banged off the floor and Ren chairs Os in the knee. 

Yujiro butt drops Os' leg on the ropes then boots his leg. Yujiro splashes the leg and does a reverse figure four. Os hits chops and forearms. Yujiro bites his hand then eye rakes him. Yujiro sliding kicks him. 

Os bites Yujiro's hand and shoulders him over. Yujiro boots Os in the corner then running back elbows him. Os legdrops him for 2. Os is thrown out. Os sends the heels into each other outside and sends Ren and Yujiro into the post. 

Os slams Yujiro and sleepers him. Os throws him down and Ren pulls the ref out on the pin attempt. Sanada then nails Os from behind outside and Os is gangbeaten. Yujiro his Os in the throat with a cane shot. Yujiro low ddt's Os and Yuto Ice pulls the ref out. 

Ice fights off HoT in the ring then he facekicks Yujiro. Yujiro takes the head kick + tombstone finisher from Os and Ice and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was complete crap and a total waste of time.

G1 Climax 36 Block A Play-In Match - El Phantasmo vs. Ryohei Oiwa

ELP snapmares Oiwa and gets a crucifix on him for 2. Oiwa wristlocks him. ELP flips out using the ropes and wristlocks him. ELP surfboards him and Oiwa goes for a pin. Oiwa side headlocks ELP. Oiwa shoulders him over and sentons him for 2. 

Oiwa side headlocks him. ELP dropkicks him out. Oiwa is sent into the post. ELP slingshot plancha's him. ELP top rope moonsaults him outside. ELP springboard swantons him into an asai moonsault in the ring. 

Oiwa back body drops him and armdrags him into an armlock. Oiwa shoulders him over, hiptosses him and armdrags into an armlock. Oiwa chops ELP in the corner. ELP enzugiri's him then 2nd rope diving tornado ddt's him. 

ELP superkicks Oiwa for 2. ELP superkicks him in the gut and Oiwa spinning lariats him. ELP hurricanrana's him for 2. Oiwa sunset flips him then sitout powerbombs him for 2. ELP step up enzugiri's him. Oiwa germans him and ELP germans him back. Oiwa htis a chaos theory german.

Oiwa spinning lariats him and pins him.

Thoughts: What we got was fine but sadly, we didn't get a lot of it. They definitely rushed through this a bit and it wasn't that much but their signature moves. 

Oiwa talks on the mic after and says he will make it to the G1 final. He says he will be the big name of the summer.

IWGP Global Heavyweight Title Match - Shota Umino (c) vs. Gabe Kidd

Gabe comes through the crowd. Gabe then dropkicks the ref before it starts. Shota throws Gabe out. They trade forearms in the crowd and Shota is sent into the rails. They go into the seats and trade shots. They then go up to the aisle in the stands and trade shots. Shota drops him with a forearm. 

Shota is sent into the seat entrance area in the stands. Shota is busted open. Gabe pounds on Shota's cut and bites it. They forearm each other and Gabe shoves him down. Gabe chokes Shota with a towel. Gabe then chops him down the stairs. Gabe forearms him on the floor then sends him into the post. 

Gabe spits in Tanahashi's face. Shota lariats Gabe as he comes in. The match then officially starts. Shota lariats him again. Shota brainbusters him on the floor. Shota hits chops and forearms in the corner. Gabe slap flurries him. Shota drops him with a big forearm.

Shota step up knees him in the corner then low flying knees him for 2. Gabe lariats Shota then brainbusters him for 2. Gabe hits a slap flurry and stomps him. Shota hits a big slap. They trade slaps. Gabe stomps him. I think Gabe kisses him and Shtoa slaps him. Gabe is down and is holding his previously injured shoulder. 

Gabe then gets up and lariats Shota. Gabe piledrivers him for 2. Gabe piledrivers him on the floor and spits on Tanahashi. Gabe half-package piledrivers him for 2. Gabe hits a death rider ddt and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like the ref getting hit before the bell and the excessive fighting before the bell. While this match on paper only went 8 minutes, it went like double that with all the fighting. It was a good showing for Shota with him getting bloodied and throwing hard shots. Gabe hits lots of stiff shots too. I liked it and thought it was mostly good. I don't like Shota losing, but burying the natives is an NJPW staple at this point.

Tana gives Gabe the title after and Gabe spikes it down. Gabe then has Tana put the belt on him. Gabe gets up in Tana's face and drops him with a slap. Gabe then spikes the belt down again. 

They have an embarrassing hype video for this one with Yoh wearing nothing but a metal plate.

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title Match - YOH (c) vs. Francesco Akira

They lock up. Yoh kips up out of a wristlock and Akira hammerlocks him. Akira side headlock takeovers him. Yoh chops him on the break. Akira shoulders him over. Akira is tripped and takes a basement dropkick. 

Akira bangs Yoh's head off the apron. Akira tries to slingshot plancha him but nail a young lion instead. Akira's head is banged off the apron. Yoh tries to slingshot plancha him but nails the young lion as well. Akira's head is banged off the commentary table. 

Akira is sent into the post. Yoh then whips a young lion into Akira. Akira hits him with a metal plate then hits the young lion with it too. Akira suplexes him on the floor. Yoh's back is rammed into the apron edge. Akira does a tarantula on him. Akira hooks his arm and chinlocks him. Akira dragon sleepers him and Yoh ropebreaks. Akira chops him. They trade forearms. Yoh flying forearms him. Yoh hits running forearms and swinging neckbreakers him.

Yoh puts him in a paradise lock and sits on his back. Great O'Khan tries to come in as Yoh mocks him. Yoh basement dropkicks Akira in the butt for 2. Akira is pulled to the apron. Akira slingshot cutters him in the ring. Akira then final cut's him for 2. 

Akira faceshoves him and they trade forearms. Akira lariats him on the ropes and dropkicks him in the knee. Yoh ushigoroshi's him and  does an anaconda vice. Yoh falcon arrows him for 2. 

Akira rolls him up then rolls him into a double stomp. They trade shots and Yoh superkicks him down. They fight on the apron. Yoh is pushed into the post then Akira powerbombs him through a table. Akira asai moonsaults him then powerbombs him for 2. Akira rolling neckbreakers him for 2. Yoh holds onto Akira's leg. Akira forearms him and bangs his face off the mat. Yoh dragon suplexes him, Akira no sells it and Yoh flips him with a lariat. 

Yoh ushigoroshi's him for 2. Akira rolls him into a sleeper + armlock submission. Yoh turns it into a crucifix for 2. Akira meteora's him for 2. Akira meteora's him from behind for 2. Yoh flying knees him then does an anaconda vice. Yoh twisting double underhook suplexes him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it all that much. Yoh goofed around during the first part of this and it was only in the second half that they really treated it like a title match. Yoh is still doing other NJPW wrestlers moves. This also seemed to be a No DQ match even though it shouldn't have been.

Yoh talks on the mic after and says Akira has to be 100% to beat him. 

Overall thoughts: The opener was not much of note. The second match was fine but needed double the time. Tiger's match was what it looked like on paper and it was heel dominated and not that exciting. Yujiro/Oskar was the usual HoT crap. Oiwa/ELP wasn't bad, but it needed a lot more time to be special. I liked Gabe/Shota as the two just stiffed each other and hit hard shots. That was the match of the night. I didn't care for the main so much as Yoh didn't take the first half too seriously and it seemed like a No DQ match when it shouldn't have been. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall as it was mostly average. It could have been better if some things were given more time and if we had less House of Torture.

We are in Clearwater, FL. Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone are on commentary. The stage has sand, fake trees, a hut and chairs.

Kenny Omega is interviewed and Michael Nakazawa is with him. Renee says it's the biggest match of KO's career. KO says this is it and it's do or die. He says if this is it and he can't hold AEW gold again, he will shake MJF's hand and congratulate him on a job well done. He says it won't be that easy. He asks if MJF has to what it takes to stop his dream and keep him out of the biggest AEW event in history. 

Chris Jericho vs Tomasso Ciampa

TC tries to jump him as he enters and CJ shows up from behind him. They fight on the stage and TC is sent into chairs. TC is suplexed onto a chair. CJ chops him on the stage. CJ throws him in the ring and the bell rings.

CJ hits chops in the corner. CJ knees him from behind on the ropes. TC slides out and CJ top rope plancha's him outside. TC draping ddt's him over the 2nd rope. TC pumping knees him on the apron. CJ AA's him on the apron. TC is sent into the steps. 

They fight on the steps. CJ's head is banged off the post. TC does a nasty standing pedigree drop on the steps. TC stomps him on the floor. We go to PiP break and return. They trade chops inside. CJ corner lariats him. CJ hits mounted corner punches on the top buckle. TC 2nd rope air raid crashes him for 2. CJ is busted open.

TC hits chops on CJ. TC cradles him for 2. CJ 2nd rope hurricanrana's him. CJ brainbusters him for 2. They fight on the their knees. TC tries to throw a sandbucket at CJ, CJ codebreakers him and CJ probably gets more sand in his face than TC does. 

CJ misses an asai moonsault and TC pumping knees him. CJ no sells it and Tc pumping knees him again for 2. CJ blocks a pumping knee then crabs him. TC throws sand in CJ's eyes to break it up. TC pumping knees CJ and pins him.

Thoughts: The 2nd rope air raid crash or the pedigree on the steps really should have finished things here. I didn't really understand the DQ rules in this since it was mostly all hardcore wrestling. This was alright though. It got a lot of time, CJ went all out, CJ bled and they put out a good effort for this.

TC chairs CJ in the head after. TC empties a tool bag and grabs a powerdrill. Security and refs then try to stop TC and TC ends up using the powerdrill on a floatie.

We see Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor beating up a bunch of men in a bar somehow for no real reason. They say it feels good to do that again.

Will Ospreay is interviewed. He says he's pulling for Kenny tonight and says he can't look past MJF. He says he wants it to be him for Kenny at All In. MJF comes in and disagrees. He rips his relationships with Kenny and Mox. He says Will is judging him when he should be thanking him. He says Will should thank him for AEW's golden area. MJF says Will and Kenny are just good wrestlers and he's a star. 

MJF says All In should have him in the main event. He says Kenny won't be able to challenge again after he beats him tonight. He says he will break Will's neck. Will says he won't be the best and he knows Japanese girls who can do better. He says MJF is a beggar who wants to be part of the conversation. he says MJF won't be part of the conversation until he drops the antics. MJF spits at him, Will boots him and they fight until security breaks it up. MJF tells him Kenny is a dead man and it's on him. 

AEW International Title - Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs Kyle Fletcher

They lock up. Kyle shoves him on the ropes and armlocks him. KT wrstlocks him. Kyle side headlocks him and they shoulder each other. Kyle slaps him and they trade forearms. KT flying lariats him. KT hits mounted corner punches. KT uppercuts him. Kyle running facekicks him out. Kyle PK's him from the apron.

Kyle drinks water and KT forearms him. KT then pours the water on himself. KT argues with Don Callis and Lance Archer at commentary. KT hits the post when Kyle moves. Kyle armbreakers him over the shoulder and backdrops him on the apron. 

Kyle hits mounted shots. KT tries a sleeper and Kyle armbreakers him on the shoulder. KT exploders him. KT tope con hilos him outside. We go to PiP break and return. They trade forearms. KT facekicks him twice. KT flies at him and is superkicked. KT blue thunders him. 

They fight on the apron. Kyle superkicks him. KT package tombstones him on the apron then wheelbarrow germans him on the apron. KT poisonrana's him. Kyle michinoku drivers him for 2. KT running lariats him. KT is up top and Kyle high kicks him. KT last ride powerbombs him.

Don Callis distracts KT. Kyle corner facekicks KT. KT falcon arrows Kyle. Kyle rolls him up for 2. Kyle kicks him in the arm, superkicks him an brainbusters him for 2. Kyle corner headkicks him. Kyle brainbusters KT on the top buckle and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. Kyle worked the arm a little but it didn't really go anywhere even though he won. Kyle's selling was atrocious as usual here as he sold nothing. I was surprised it wasn't worse than it was though with how much these guys love to overdo it.

The Don Callis Family celebrates with Kyle in the ring with. The Conglomeration checks on KT on the ramp.

We go to break and return. Mick Foley comes out. Mick says this moment is about Kyle. He asks him what it was like to fight and beat his former best friend in KT. Kyle says he was never his friend and KT road his coat tails. He says he did what he and Okada said they would do and bring the International Title back to The Don Callis Family.

Don tells Mick this is their celebration and not about Mick stealing the spotlight. Mick says when he says it was one of the finest matches he saw and when he says Kyle was on the finest talents, he means it. Mick then shows off his shoes with dogs on it. He says the next time Don disrespects him, his shoes will get acquainted with Don's @ss.

Don says they are a family of champions and brings out Kevin Knight. Kevin comes out and congratulates Kyle. He says welcome to the club and it took him long enough. Kevin says he's still owed a World Title shot. He says that's the only reason he got in the cage match. He says he will watch the main close tonight and says Jet 2 Belts is on the way. 

Andrade El Idolo comes out. He says Don promised him the title. Idolo says he promises he will take one belt from Don. He says if Idolo can beat Jake Doyle next week, he can face Mark Davis for the National Title. He then says, "How you know?". He challenges The Family to come on. The Family chases Idolo to the back. 

We go to the back. Darby Allin appears and pounds on Kevin Knight. Jake Doyle forearms Darby down. Kevin tells Brian Cage to get Darby's skateboard then the skateboard exploders on Cage. We then see Idolo with a detonator. Darby, Jake, Idolo and Kevin fight.

Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley vs The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry)

Mox trips Henry. Henry hammerlocks him. Mox bangs Henry's arm off his shoulder. Henry armdrags Mox. Mox chops Henry down. Henry spin kicks him in the gut. JD chops Mox down. 

JD shoulders Mox over. Mox then has his neck twisted and takes a senton at the same time. Henry hits chest kicks on Mox. Mox dragon screws him. Will springboard foreamrs JD then flying headscissors Henry out. Will slingshot plancha's his opponents outside.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. Henry reverse sitout slams Will and JD shining wizards Will for 2. Will handspring corkscrew kicks JD off the ropes. Mox topes JD outside. Mox hits mounted corner punches on JD and bites his head. 

Mox cutters Henry. JD chops Mox. Mox goes out and has Shafir slap him to fire him up. Mox running lariats JD twice. Will hits a styles clash on JD while Mox piledrivers Henry. Mox double underhook ddt's JD and Will hidden blade's JD. Mox pins JD.

Thoughts: It took longer than expected and Mox's team won as expected here. What we got was fine but it probably should have been a squash.

Hikaru Shida does a promo. She says she told us what was coming and said we all ignored the warning. She says she's the knew face of TBS and you can call her the ace of TBS. She says TBS now stand s for "The Best is Shida".

Thekla and Mone are both out to watch this.

Athena and Maya World are the first two in. They miss moves to start and try pin attempts. They forearm each other. Maya running corner euros her and Ath springboard knees her off the bottom rope. Maya claymore kicks her then fallaway slams her. Maya double jump asai moonsaults her.

Skye Blue is next in with a kendo stick. She hits Ath with the stick. Maya superkicks SB in the gut and side of the head. SB hits Maya with the stick. Ath slams SB into the steps. We go to PiP break and return.

Mina Shirakawa is next in. Mina flying neckbreakers SB then la mistcia drops Ath. Ath and Mina hit stereo slingblades. Mina pulls Maya's throat down over the top rope. Mina springboard tornillo splashes Maya. Rina of STARDOM comes out next.

Rina and Mina stare down and trade forearms. SB takes a double dropkick. Mina wants to work with Rina and is slapped. Rina overhead throws Mina, does her shimmy and is superkicked by Ath. Rina 2nd rope dropkicks Ath. Rina yanks back on Maya's arm/

Julia Hart is next in. Hart hits girls with a trash can lid. Hart superkicks the lid into Ath's face and codebreakers her chest with her feet. Hart chairs Ath then hits a security guard with it. SB attacks Justin Roberts and takes his chair. SB then hits security with kendo stick shots. 

We go to PiP break and return. Thunder Rosa is next in. Rosa stunners SB and Hart. Rosa neckbreakers Ath. Rosa dropkicks SB against the bottom rope. Rosa samoan drops Hart for 2. Rosa and Rina trade shots. Rosa ushigoroshi's her for 2. Ath hits an o-face on Rosa for 2. 

Mina spinning forearms Ath and uppercuts her. Ath 2nd rope diving o-face's Mina for 2. Willow Nightingale is next in. willow facekicks Ath on the stage. Willow spinebusters Rina and Maya. SB and Hart take a double lariat from Willow. Willow cannonballs 3 girls off the apron.

Willow powerbombs Ath on the apron then death valley drivers her on the floor. SB superkicks Willow. Maya michinoku drivers SB on the floor. Willow doctor bomb's Hart and pins her.

Thoughts: Willow wasn't in here that long and won. It wasn't anything too special as there were a lot of people in this and a lot of people coming in and out. Everyone would come in, get some offense in and then make way for the next person. This was average.

Thekla spears Willow after. Lena Kross and Megan Bayne slam Skye and Hart on the ramp. Thek facekicks Willow. Mercedes Mone hits Thekla with a title belt from behind then nails Willow with it.

Jack Perry does a video. He says he is always told he has the potential to be great. He says he can feel it but he fears he won't live up to it. He says he wants to be AEW World champ and says this is where the best in the world belong. He says that's why he's re-signing with AEW.

Mike Bailey is interviewed. He says he doesn't want to talk about Kevin Knight. He says Don Callis took a lot from him and he will take something from him. He says he's coming for Mark Davis' AEW National Title. 

AEW World Title - MJF (c) vs Kenny Omega

Kenny can't challenge for the title again if he loses.

KO misses a flying knee and they trade punches. MJF double throat thrusts him. KO germans him. MJF headscissor rolls him over the top to the floor. MJF goes into the crowd and KO follows. KO clubs on him and chops him. MJF eye rakes him in the crowd. MJF teases throwing him into seats then poses on the seats.

KO sends MJF into the seats. MJF's head is banged off the seats. KO throws MJF over the rail into ringside. MJF puts the ref in the way to block Kenny inside and then hits mounted shots on KO. MJF bites KO's head. 

MJF bites KO's head. MJF slingshots KO into a cutter. They fight on the stage. MJF's head is banged off a lifeguard's chair. KO moonsaults off of it onto MJF. KO throws MJF into the ring. KO top rope dropkicks him from behind in the ring. KO tope con hilos him outside. KO over the back bulldogs him inside. KO is tripped into the ropes. KO dragon suplexes him. MJF hits kicks and forearms. KO and MJF double clothesline each other. MJF package piledrivers him for 2. 

KO flying facekicks MJF off the apron through the commentary table. We go to PiP break and return. They fight outside. KO finlay rolls him on the floor then moonsaults him off the rail. MJF gets his knees up on that. MJF tombstones KO on an open chair seat.

MJF holds his knee in the ring after going down on it. KO running knees him. KO germans him. KO flying pumping knees him from behind against the buckles. MJF 2nd rope poisonrana's him right on his head. MJF heatseeker piledrivers him over the 2nd rope and KO of course kicks out. 

MJF grabs his title belt. MJF gives the title to the ref. MJF grabs his Dynamite Diamond Ring. Will Ospreay comes out and takes it from MJF. KO goes to hit MJF with the title. MJF begs off. KO drops the title. MJF low blows KO and hits him with the title...for a 1 count. 

KO hits punches on MJF. KO pumping knees MJF three times. KO hits a one-winged angel and pins MJF.

Thoughts: They did too much here with Kenny surviving a 2nd rope poisonrana on his head, title shots and low blows. I would have been fine with this one if it weren't the last few minutes, but then it got out of hand. There's been too many world title changes lately and it's expected that Will Ospreay will win the world title at All In, which will cause another title change. I was wondering how they would get out of this as Kenny was obviously going to be challenging for this again, but I didn't think he would outright beat MJF.

Overall thoughts: This show was almost all wrestling in here with not much else going on non-wrestling wise. I was fine with the opener. Takeshita and Kyle had some bad no selling from Kyle which hurt it for me. Will and Mox basically won a squash but it was fine. The Casino Gauntlet match was average. MJF and Kenny went too far by the end of their match and as Kenny as basically no selling 2nd rope poisonrana's. Kenny winning was a surprise and I don't love the AEW Title changing hands yet again, especially when it's almost a given that Ospreay is winning it at All In. Effort wise, this would have been a 7 out of 10 as they had a few PPV worthy matches here. But this was all wrestling and I really only liked two of five matches here. I think I'd still give it a 6 out of 10 overall as it kept my interest, they tried to make it feel like a special show and the show was okay overall.
