WWE Royal Rumble 2026 1/31/2026

We are in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are on commentary. 

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Triple H narrates a Royal Rumble video. He says every wrestler steps into the unknown and the passageways have lead to glory, immortality and heartbreak. He says The Rumble is more than a match, it's a decision. He says he knows what it's like and says it shows who you really are. He then does the "are you ready?" line and welcomes us to the show.

Women's Royal Rumble Match

 #1 is Charlotte Flair. #2 is Alexa Bliss. They stare down and look at the crowd. Bliss doesn't want to fight and wants to wait for the next girl to come in. Bliss wants to do the her thing. Flair grabs her and puts her up top. They do the heart thing. Flair pulls her down. Flair points at the crowd and Bliss teases a sister abigail but lets go. Flair takes her down and does half of a figure four before helping her up. Bliss gets on Flair's back and they wait for #3. This wasn't a good way to start things.

#3 is Kiana James. KJ shoulders over both then corner spears both. Bliss high kicks KJ. KJ codebreakers Flair. KJ slingshot splash Bliss then superkicks Flair. Flair high kicks her. KJ is held in the air for a ddt.

#4 is Nia Jax. Nia headbutts Bliss and lariats Flair. She throws both. Nia corner splashes both. Nia pop-up headbutts KJ and splashes Flair/Bliss in the corner. Nia samoan drops both. KJ superkicks Nia then standing moonsaults Flair and Bliss together. Nia misses a corner spear and goes into the post. 

#5 is Ivy Nile. Ivy germans Flair and KJ. She flying kicks Flair and Bliss in the corners. Ivy spinning ddt's KJ. Ivy spinning high kicks Nia. Nia foot chokes Ivy. 

#6 is Lola Vice. Lola hits spin kicks on the girls. She kick combos Bliss and Flair. Lola hits corner hip attacks on Bliss and Flair. Lola uraken's Ivy and dances. Nia lariats Ivy then mocks her dance. Nia takes a double superkick then Nia hits a double lariat. Bliss gets on Nia's back and is thrown down. KJ jawbreakers Nia then samoan drops her. 

#7 is Candice LeRae. CL tornado ddt's Flair. Ivy nearly knocks KJ off the apron. LeRae and Nia stare down. Nia lariats Ivy. CL step up senton's Ivy's back. She then hugs Nia. Multiple girls go for Lola in the corner.

#8 is Jordynne Grace. JG shoulders over one of the girls and spinebusters KJ. JG suplexes Flair. JG hits a big ending on BLiss. JG dumps Lola over the top and knocks LeRae down with her. Candice LeRae and Lola Vice are eliminated. Ivy high kicks JG. JG lays her on the top rope then euros her down. Ivy Nile is eliminated. JG is grabbed by Nia. Nia hip attacks her in the corner and stink faces her. Bliss hits leg kicks on Nia. Bliss and Flair get Nia on the apron. Flair facekicks Nia off the apron and Nia grabs Bliss in the process. Both go down. Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss are eliminated. Bliss looks shocked at Flair and Flair is sad.

#9 is Becky Lynch. Flair and Becky yell at each other then hockey fight. Flair hits chops on her. Flair is sent to the apron. Flair gets in the ring and they trade forearms. They roll on the mat and roll under the bottom rope. Flair bangs Becky's head off the commentary table.

#10 is Sol Ruca. Sol springboard 450's into a double lariat on KJ and Flair. Sol and Becky argue. Sol spinning drops her on her chest then superkicks her. Sol superkicks JG then germans her. Sol top rope double dropicks Becky and KJ. 

#11 is Roxanne Perez. Perez throws Becky to the apron. Perez slaps Flair then hits windmill shots on her. Sol cartwheels into a kick on JG in the corner. Perez hits a cartwheel double knee drop on Sol. Becky and Perez slap each other.

#12 is Maxxine Dupri. Max runs down and goes for Becky. She thesz presses her and hits mounted punches. Max high kicks Becky then top rope crossbodies her. Becky is sent to the apron by Max. Becky pulls Max's throat over the top rope. Max fisherman suplexes Becky. Max spinning high kicks Perez and high kicks Flair. Max step up legdrops KJ on the back of the neck. Max germans Becky.

#13 is Natalya. Nat takes down Max and hits mounted shots. Max fires back. Nat slams her. Max ankle locks her. Becky uranage's Max then throws her out. Maxxine Dupri is eliminated. Becky taps Nat on the back and tries to throw her out. Nat then throws Becky out. Becky Lynch is eliminated. 

#14 is Liv Morgan. Liv hits oblivion on KJ. Liv step up enzugiri's Nat. Liv hits three amigo's on Sol. Flair uraken's Liv. Flair takes a codebreaker into a russian legsweep. Flair double lariats Liv and Perez. 

#15 is Lash Legend. Lash double chokeslam KJ and another girl. Sol springboards into a Lash pump kick. Lash backdrops Perez. Lash knees JG in the gut. Sol's head is banged off the buckles. Lash and JG are on the apron. JG is thrown out. Jordynne Grace is eliminated. 

#16 is Zelina Vega. Vega gets no reaction. Vega legsweeps Perez then rolls Sol into a rolling kick. Nat spares Liv when Vega rolls her. Vega ddt's KJ off a suplex attempt. Vega's 2nd rope headscissors is caught by Lash. Lash swings her into another girl then powerbombs her.

#17 is Raquel Rodriguez. The Judgment Day has 3 members in. Raquel hits a facekick on Flair then lariats KJ and Sol. Lash and Raquel have words then Lash takes a double chopblock. Lash is double teamed. Raquel knocks KJ off the apron. Kiana James is eliminated. The Judgment Day hug. 

#18 is Chelsea Green. Green goes up to Judgment Day and wants to team up. Judgment Day thinks about it. Liv hits Green's hand away and Green hits her. Green is then double teamed. Alba pulls Green out to save here. Liv and Alba tug of war over Green. Alba is pulled in. Raquel lariats Alba over the top. Green takes an alley oop from Raquel.

#19 is Giulia. Giulia shoulders over some girls but can't do it to Raquel. Giulia dropkicks Raquel then suplexes Vega. Giulia sends Green hanging from the ropes. Alba gets under Green and walks her to the side.

#20 is Iyo Sky. Iyo comes in and hits shotei's. Iyo cartwheels off the ropes and double dropkicks Judgment Day. Iyo top rope dropkicks Raquel.

#21 is Asuka. Asuka, Iyo and Giulia point at each other. Asuka wants to team up with Giulia. Giulia kicks her hand away. Iyo is stomped by Iyo and Asuka. Giulia camel clutches Iyo. Asuka runs at them and kicks Giulia. She then grabs Giulia by the hair. Asuka high kicks Iyo then lariats her while doing a bulldog to Giulia.

#22 is Rhea Ripley. Rhea hits shots on Liv and makes Perez ddt her. Raquel takes an upkick from Rhea. Green begs off from Rhea. Giulia sends Vega into the post then running knees her off the apron. Zelina Vega is eliminated. Green salutes Rhea. Rhea salutes back then forearms Green down. Rhea superkicks Alba off the apron. Green is thrown out by Rhea. Chelsea Green is eliminated. Perez spin kicks Rhea in the gut. Rhea does a razor's edge onto Perez, sending her onto Green and Alba outside. Roxanne Perez is eliminated. Judgment Day double team Rhea. 

#23 is Bayley. Judgment Day take boots from Rhea and Iyo in the corner. Sol evades Bay on the apron. Sol hangs upside down from the bottom rope but avoids elimination. Bay flying knees Sol. Bay flying knees Lash in the corner then corner lariats Asuka. Flair and Bay trade chops. 

#24 is Jacy Jayne. Jacy flying headscissors Lash then neckbreakers Bay. Jacy superkicks Liv down. Jacy corner cannonballs Bay and Raquel. Jacy pumping knees Liv. Jacy and Sol end up on the rapron. Nat and Rhea butt heads inside. Nat clubs on Rhea. Rhea knees Nat and Nat spinning lariats her. Liv is pushed down by Nat. Nat hurricanrana's Raquel to the apron. Liv hits oblivion onto Nat into the top rope and Nat goes out. Natalya is eliminated. 

#25 is Nikki Bella. Bella pushes Liv and they trade forearms. Bella lariats Jacy then spinebusters Bay. Bella tornado ddt's Raquel. Liv jumping codebreakers Bella. 

#26 is Lyra Valkyria. Lyra spin kicks and kicks Liv. Lyra step up enzugiri's Liv. Lyra springboards into a double crossbody. Lyra step up enzugiri's Lash. Giulia does an octopus to Lyra. Lyra sends her to the apron. Lyra forearms Giulia off the apron from Bay's back. Giulia is eliminated.

#27 is Kelani Jordan. Kelani top rope phoenix splashe's one of the girls. Kelani then hits forearms and cartwheel double back elbows Lyra and Bay. Kelani hits a tornado ddt on Raquel and Liv. Kelani dropkicks Rhea. 

#28 is Kairi Sane. Sane top rope flying forearms Iyo. Sane headscissors one of the girls off the ropes then does it to Bay. Rhea and Asuka fight on the apron. Sane almost hits Asuka. Iyo pushes Sane into Asuka. Sane sliding forearms Asuka off the apron on accident. Asuka is eliminated. Asuka yells at Sane. Iyo dumps Sane over the top. Kairi Sane is eliminated. Asuka grabs Sane by the hair.

#29 is Brie Bella. Brie comes in and hits shots on multiple girls. Brie dropkicks Raquel from the buckles and hits chest kicks. She does the "yes" motion. Brie running knees Kelani then hugs Nikki. Liv and Raquel break it up.

#30 is Tiffany Stratton. Tiff top rope swantons multiple girls. Tiff spinebusters Jacy then cartwheel alabama slams Kelani. Tiff and Flair stare down. They trade chops. Liv kicks Tiff against the ropes. Liv and Raquel are surrounded then pounded on. Nia is sent shoulder first into the buckles. The Bella's stare down with Lyra and Bay and they trade shots. 

Brie hits kicks on Lyra. Brie and Nikki headscissor Bay and Lyra over the top together. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria are eliminated. The Bella, Iyo and Rhea all get hit. Jacy superkicks Kelani and sends her out. Kelani Jordan is eliminated. Sol hits a sol snatcher on Jacy and throws her out. Jacy Jayne is eliminated.

Lash throws Sol shoulder first into the post. Lash takes a double boot from The Bella's. Lash dumps both over the top. Nikki and Bri Bella are eliminated. 

Lash sends herself to the apron. Flair chops Lash there. Lash pump kicks Flair down and out. Charlotte Flair is eliminated. There's 7 left all of them fight. Raquel catches Iyo off the 2nd rope. Rhea hits riptide on Raquel. Lash hits Rhea from behind. 

Iyo springboards and is caught by Lash. They go to the apron. Iyo leglocks her there and is hanging upside down. Lash kicks her and Iyo goes down. Iyo Sky is eliminated.

Rhea headbutts Liv and Lash drops Tiff with a shot. Rhea hits forearms on Lash and lariats her. Rhea headbutts her then Lash pump kicks her. Raquel and Lash stare down. They lariat each other. Lash fallaway slams her. Rhea lariats Lash over the top. Lash Legend is eliminated.

Raquel single arm powerbombs Rhea onto the apron and eliminates her. Rhea Ripley is eliminated. Raquel taunts her and Liv Morgan throws out Raquel. Raquel Rodriguez is eliminated.

Liv smiles and Raquel is shocked. Raquel is upset. Tiff, Liv and Sol are the final 3. Tiff takes a codebreaker and a slingshot facebuster. Tiff jumps off Sol's back and dropkicks Liv. Tiff cartwheel back elbows Sol. Liv dropkicks Sol. Tiff hits a triple jump moonsault on Liv. Sol hits a double sol snatcher. Sol, Tiff and Liv all hang from the top outside. They fight on the apron. Sol is sent into the post from Tiff. Sol tries a move off the buckles and is pulled down. Sol Ruca is eliminated. Liv hits oblivion on Tiff and eliminates her. Tiffany Stratton is eliminated. Liv Morgan wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good as expected. Flair missed a bunch of strikes. Brie Bella was the only legend who returned here and they were no new debuts or anything. The work wasn't that good and it dragged on quite a bit. It was very hard to tell who was who at times due to the girls all wearing full body suits. Lash Legend was pushed hard here and Kiana James got a lot of rub. This was rough to get through.

Oba Femi is warming up in the back. 

AJ Styles vs Gunther

AJ Styles must retire if he loses. 

They lock up. Gun front facelocks him and AJ wristlocks him. AJ side headlocks him then takes him over. AJ leg kicks and side headlocks him. AJ grabs the leg and chops him in the corner. Gun side headlocks him. AJ dropkicks him. Gun facekicks AJ out of the ring while he's on the apron. Gun backdrops AJ on the apron. 

Gun chops him down outside and sends him into the rails gut first. Gun stomps AJ. AJ hits shots and is sent chest into the buckles. Gun back body drops AJ. AJ's forearm is bleeding. 

Gun crabs AJ. AJ hits upkicks and Gun PK's him. Gun chops him down. AJ hits forearms. Gun bends over and is kicked. AJ pele kicks Gun. AJ hits a strike flurry on Gun. AJ superkicks him in the knee and sliding lariats him. AJ flying corner lariats him then ushigoroshi's him for 2.

Gun blocks a styles clash and hits a big lariat for 2. Gun clubs and chops AJ. AJ calf crushers him and Gun rope breaks. Gun shotgun dropkicks him then hits a big powerbomb for 2. Gun chops him in the corner. AJ dropkicks him in the knee and calf crushers him. 

AJ sleepers him. Gun sleepers him back. AJ sends Gun out to the floor. AJ slingshot forearms him outside. AJ hits a powerbomb inside for 2. AJ springboard 450's him. AJ hits a styles clash for 2. AJ is caught off a springboard. Gun goes for the sleeper, AJ goes for it then they almost go into the ref. Gun low blows him then powerbombs him for 2.

Gun hits chops in the corner. Gun facekicks him and stomps on him in the corner. Gun hits chops. Gun then drops him with a lariat. AJ hits forearms and boots him in the corner. AJ springboards and Gun grabs a sleeper and grounds him with it. AJ is out and Gun wins.

Thoughts: It was a good match with AJ being the underdog face throughout. Gun stiffed him and AJ hit his usual signature offense. I don't know if they quite got all the drama they could have out of this as Gun could have bullied him more and AJ could have done a lot more to fight out of the submission at the end.. It's a shame this didn't happen on US soil as it would have gotten much bigger reactions. AJ losing made the most sense booking wise, but nobody really wanted to see AJ lose and they certainly did not get the most that they could have out of this story. I don't know if I buy that this was AJ's final match so we will have to wait and see what happens.

The crowd claps for AJ after. AJ teases putting his gloves in the middle of the ring but then poses with them. AJ then walks up the ramp and heads to the back. 

WWE Undisputed Title - Drew McIntyre (c) vs Sami Zayn

They lock up. Sami ducks a chop then hit his own. Drew side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Drew hits chops, Sami fires back and Sami is chopped down. Drew hits mounted shots on Sami. Drew suplexes him. Sami back elbows him out of the corner. Sami 2nd rope double axe handles Drew.

Sami lariats Drew over the top. Sami tope con hilos him. Sami's back is rammed into the apron edge. Drew backbreakers Sami. Drew hits shots in the corner. Drew tilt-a-whirl backrbeakers him. They fight on the buckles and Sami sunset bombs him for 2. Drew neckbreakers him. 

Sami facekicks him then hits a blue thunder for 2. They trade forearms. Drew drops him with a headbutt. Drew misses a claymore kick and Sami gets a 2 count on him. Sami hits mounted shots. Sami sits up top and Drew chops him. Drew 2nd rope air raid crashes him for 2.

Drew rolls out of a backslide and hits 3 future shock ddt's for 2. Drew hits corner lariats then flying claymore kicks him for 2. Drew yells at the ref. Sami helluva kicks Drew for 2. They go out. Drew powerbombs him through the commentary table. Drew throws him back in and stomps him. Drew tells him to stay down and slaps him around. Sami exploders him in the corner.

Sami runs at him and Drew claymore kicks him. Drew hits another claymore kick and pins him.

Thoughts: It wasn't that far off from the previous match, but it was harder to buy Sami winning here. The match was okay but nothing too special. Sami didn't get a lot offense in that would lead to pins and they just didn't sell me on Sami picking up the win.

We see clips of Paul Heyman confronting Adam Pearce during the pre-show. Paul gets mad about the numbers his crew drew for The Rumble. Adam says it was a random draw and says Paul was out of his mind. Paul says if Adam wants to play FAFO with him, he will do it with him. 

Men's Royal Rumble Match

Oba Femi is #1 and Bron Breakker is #2. Bron gets hi by someone in a mask and hood before he gets in. Bron is then sent into the steps, superkicked and curb stomped. The masked guy throws Bron in. Oba lariats Bron over the top and eliminates him. The masked guy then runs off.

#3 is Solo Sikoa. He and Oba trade blows then shoulder battle. Oba shoulders him over and slams him. Oba running euros him in the corner. Oba is then thrown shoulder first into the post. 

#4 is Rey Mysterio. Oba running facekicks Solo while he's holding Rey on his shoulders.

#5 is Rusev, who has mostly been on WWE Main Event lately. Rusev hits punches on Oba. Rusev dropkicks Oba twice and lariats him against the ropes. Rey 619's Rusev. Oba then pushes Rusev over the top via the throat. Rusev is eliminated. Oba uranage backbreakers Solo then lariats him over the top. Solo Sikoa is eliminated. Rey 619's Oba in the gut and dropkicks him from behind. Rey 619's him in the head. Oba throws Rey over the top. Rey hangs on, goes to springboard and is forearmed down. Rey Mysterio is eliminated.

#6 is Matt Cardona. Matt hits forearms on Oba. Oba lariats him. Matt double knees him off the buckles then 2nd rope dropkicks him. Matt running facekicks him in the corner. Oba powerbombs him. Oba throws Matt out. Matt Cardona is eliminated. Oba is at 5 eliminations.

Damian Priest is in at #7. He runs down to the ring and forearms Oba. DP hits punches and Oba knees him in the gut. Oba lariats him. DP superkicks him then flying back elbows him. DP spin kicks him then rebound lariats him.

#8 is Je'Von Evans. Evans evades DP and superkicks him. Evans goes for an os cutter and Oba blocks it. Evans goes for a seated springboard and nearly goes out. Evans springboard lariats DP. Evans corkscrew kicks Oba off the ropes. 

#9 is Mr. Iguana. Iguana hits Evans as he enters then top rope crossbodies him. Iguana backrolls and spinning ddt's him. Oba forearms DP. Iguana step up enzugiri's Oba. Iguana poses and Oba shows up behind him. Evans superkicks Oba. DP takes Iguana's toy then chokeslams that and Iguana. Iguana then puts his arms and legs up and sells. 

#10 is Trick Williams. Trick comes in and flying lariats DP. Trick throws Mr. Iguana out. Mr. Iguana is eliminated. Trick then throws La Yesca at Iguana. Trick flapjacks DP. Trick, Oba and Evans have a stare down. Evans high kicks Oba and Trick pump kicks Oba. Oba takes a double kick. Evans is thrown to the apron by Trick. 

#11 is Cody Rhodes. Cody drop down punches Trick. Cody os cutters DP. Oba and Cody trade shots.

#12 is El Grande Americano. Grande lariats Evans and hits punches on him. Evans is sent to the apron. Evans high kicks Trick then pump kicks Grande. Grande grabs Evans by the hair. Grande is sent to the apron. Grande stunners Evans over the top rope. Grande then loads his mask. Grande flying headbutts Evans and Trick.

#13 is also El Grande Americano, though it's clearly the Gable Americano. The Grande's stare down and fight. Grande Gable goes for the mask then takes a rolling death valley driver. Grande takes a release german. Grande Gable hangs from the top outside. Grande grabs his mask but Grande Gable headscissors him out. El Grande Americano is eliminated. Trick then knocks Grande Gable off the apron for the elimination. The other El Grande Americano is eliminated. Cody then throws Trick Williams out. Trick Williams is eliminated. DP hits a south of heaven chokeslam on DP.

#14 is Powerhouse Hobbs. They have his name graphic up and say he was once known as that but is now Royce Keys. Keys and DP stare down. Keys catches him and running powerslams him. Keys lariats DP over the top. Damian Priest is eliminated. Evans superkicks Keys then keys spinebusters him. Cody and Keys stare down. Keys blocks a dropdown punch. 

#15 is Austin Theory. Austin running facekicks Evans. Austin chop blocks Cody then forearms him. Austin tries to push Evans out with his feet. Evans up kicks him and saves himself.

#16 is Bronson Reed. Reed top rope splashes Evans as he enters. Oba takes a high/low from Reed and Austin. Keys and Reed trade. Austin sends Cody to the apron. 

#17 is Ilja Dragunov. Ilja boots Austin then chops Oba. Ilja enzugiri's Keys. Ilja tiger feint lariats Cody. Cody punches Ilja. Ilja stomps Cody on the mat. 

#18 is LA Parka (III). Parka comes in and flying kicks Austin. He dances. Parka goes up and over Austin and does headflips. Parka flapjacks Austin. Parka does a spinning slam on Ilja and dances. Parka hits forearms on Keys in the corner. Keys headbutts him and punches him down. Keys foot chokes him.

#19 is Dragon Lee. Lee enzugiri's Reed from the apron then double stomps Evans off the top in the tree of woe position. Lee hits destino on Austin. Lee pumping knees Ilja then Ilja facekicks him. Lee destino's Ilja. Lee pumping knees Cody. Reed boots Lee in the gut then Lee ddt's him. 

#20 is Logan Paul. The Vision has 3 members in now. Logan lariats Lee. Logan gutwrench slams Parka. Keys stares down Logan. Logan hits shots to the gut. Keys headbutts him then hits a world's strongest slam. Reed stares down Keys. Keys pulls his strap down. Austin hits Keys from behind. Reed lariats Keys over the top. Royce Keys is eliminated. Parka and Lee hit superkicks. Reed takes a double superkick then hits a double lariat. Parka is on Reed's shoulders and Austin rolls into a dropkick on him. La Parka is sent out. La Parka is eliminated. Lee is triple teamed. Reed gorilla presses Lee onto Parka outside. Dragon Lee is eliminated. The Vision triple team Cody.

#21 is LA Knight, who hasn't been seen since December. LA goes after The Vision and hits shots on them. Reed corner splashes LA. LA back body drops Austin over the top. Austin Theory is eliminated. LA neckbreakers Logan. LA hits lariats on Reed. LA BFT's Reed then lariats him over the top. Bronson Reed is eliminated. LA stares down Logan and bangs his head off the buckles. 

#22 is Brock Lesnar. Paul Heyman comes out with Brock. Cody makes angry faces at Brock as he goes to enter. Brock germans Cody, LA and Evans. Brock boots and lariats Ilja (that'd be a good bout). Brock F-5's Evans. Brock and Oba stare down. They make a moment out of it. 

#23 is The Miz. Oba and Brock are still staring down. Miz gets between Oba and Brock but slides back out. Brock and Oba are hit by the others and backed up in the corners. Ilja hits shots on Brock and is tossed out. Ilja Dragunov is eliminated. Brock germans Cody and LA. Brock and Oba stare down again. 

#24 is Rey Fenix. Rey springboards, Brock catches him and dumps him. Brock germans Oba. Brock F-5's Fenix then throws him out. Rey Fenix is eliminated. Oba misses a lariat on Brock. Oba lariats Brock. Logan goes up top and is hit by Oba. Oba grabs Logan and Brock throws Oba out. Oba Femi is eliminated. Logan gets back in.

#25 is Jey Uso. Brock germans Logan. Jey comes through the crowd. Cody and LA hit shots on Brock. Brock is double lariated over the top. Brock Lesnar is eliminated. Jey shakes hands with the commentators and fans. Jey superkicks Miz. Jey puts his glasses on and asks for his theme to play again. Jey yeets on the ropes. 

#26 is Roman Reigns. Roman gets fireworks for his entrance. Roman and Jey stare down. Roman does Jey's play it back motion. Jey goes to dance then Roman drops him with a shot. Roman uranages Evans then superman punches Miz and Logan. Roman spears Miz and throws him over the top. The Miz is eliminated. Cody stares down Roman. 

#27 is Jacob Fatu. Cody goes to tope him and Fatu hits him. Fatu sends him into the steps and post. Fatu headbutts Cody and beats him up in the corner. Fatu superkicks LA twice. #28 is Penta. Penta flying headscissors Evans. Penta step up enzugiri's Logan in the corner. Penta headstand double pendulum knee's him in the corner. Fatu handsprings and Penta backcrackers him off of it. LA powerslams Penta. LA BFT's Roman. Cody takes a reverse ddt from LA. Cody disaster kicks LA off the apron. LA Knight is eliminated. Fatu stomps Cody.

#29 is Randy Orton. Orton powerslams Jey and Penta. Orton double bridging ddt's Penta and Jey. Orton RKO's Logan. Penta hits leg kicks on Orton. Penta springboards and is caught with an RKO from Orton. 

#30 is Gunther. Gun chops down Logan then germans Jey. Gun chops Cody and holds his knee. Evans superkicks Gun. Evans flips out of a german and flying knees Gun. Evans corkscrew kicks Orton off the ropes. Evans goes for a double jump cutter but Orton RKO's him. Evans is thrown out. Je'Von Evans is eliminated.

Penta superkicks and chops Gun. Penta does a handstand in the corner and is thrown out. Penta is eliminated. Orton RKO's Gun. Cody grabs Gun then stares down Orton. Cody holds Gun for boots from Orton. Orton holds Gun for a move but Gun moves and Orton cody cutters Orton. Fatu throws Cody over the top. Cody is stuck hanging from the ropes and Drew McIntyre claymore kicks Cody. Cody Rhodes is eliminated.

Roman throws out Fatu. Jacob Fatu is eliminated. Fatu stares at Roman. Jey then tries to send Roman out. Jey spears Roman. Roman throws Jey over the top. Jey Uso is eliminated.

The final four at Roman Reigns, Gunther, Randy Orton and Logan Paul. The four pair off and fight. Logan goes for a buckshot lariat but Roman superman punches him and throws him out. Logan Paul is eliminated. Orton RKO's Roman. Gunther then throws Orton out. Randy Orton is eliminated. 

Gunther and Roman Reigns are the final two. Gun sleepers Roman. Roman back body drops Gun to the apron. Gun sleepers Roman. Gun sleepers Roman. Roman drives Gun into the buckles then spears him. Roman throws Gunther over the top. Gunther is eliminated and Roman Reigns wins the 2026 Royal Rumble.

Thoughts: It was a by the numbers Rumble and it was pretty standard. The build to this wasn't good. Cody was really the only person who had a storyline going into this. We had one debut here in Powerhouse Hobbs and no real big returns. No legends came back for a spot either. They didn't have as much time as usual between entrants so we didn't get to see various people square off much. It was just one person after another coming in until later on and it hurt a lot of the drama. I didn't like Oba getting all kinds of eliminations early as that meant it took the ring a while to fill up. They did tease some stuff here. Roman/Jey/Fatu are having issues. Oba and Brock want to fight. Cody/Drew isn't over. Brock and Heyman's alliance should come into question and we do have to wonder who the masked man was that took out Bron, though we are supposed to think it's Seth. Roman winning wasn't that exciting as he was probably going to be in the main no matter what anyway and him winning is kind of an easy way out. I was very surprised that Chris Jericho didn't return here. The Rumble was okay just not very memorable. It was unoffensive but not great. The crowd didn't know anyone but the big names and that hurt the heat.

We then get a bunch of fireworks to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It was a long show. The two Royal Rumble matches went on for quite a while as expected and neither were that great. They both had limited returns and appearances and both were pretty standard rumbles. The men's was much better as expected though and it was hard to know who was who at times in the women's Rumble since everyone wore full body suits. AJ/Gunther was good and Drew/Sami was a lesser version of that. I was surprised we didn't see Punk, AJ Lee or Stephanie Vaquer here I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was an okay event overall but not their best work.

Cannonball Matthews and Steve Fender vs Mike Devine and Tim Roberts

Tim is in the black and red. Mike is in the blue. CM and SF have Lucky P. Larson with them.

Tim side headlocks SF then shoulders him over. Tim shoulders him over and hits him in the gut. Mike hits SF in the gut and the spine. Mike side slams SF for 2. Tim bends over and SF kicks him. SF rams him into the corner. CM corner splashes Tim. CM suplexes Tim. 

CM chinlocks Tim then Larson chokes Tim on the ropes. SF boots and chops Tim in the corner. He then elbow drops him a few times for 2. SF stomps Tim. CM and Mike get in. CM misses a corner splash and is neckbreakered for 2. 

Mike comes off the 2nd rope and CM gets his boot up. CM michinoku drivers Mike and pins him.

Thoughts: There were a couple sloppy moments here and it was average for the most part. CM and Steve won this one as expected since they are regulars.

Bobby D does a promo on Brandon Baretta. He says SICW fans don't cheer cowards and don't call thieves champs. He says that's what Brandon was when they fought. He says his title should be his. He says he's not champ as the ref couldn't see it. He says Brandon went low and tried to drive his face into the title. He says he did hit him with the title and doesn't regret it. He says you get what you earn with him and he says Brandon earned that. He says he saw him laughing after. He says the only thing keeping the title off of him is Brandon's fear of nearly losing again. He says the title is his title and challenges him.

Trent Daniels vs Sebastian St. James

They lock up and SJ clean breaks him in the corner. SJ waistlocks him. TD boots him in the corner and bangs his head off the buckles. SJ 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him for 2. SJ dropkicks him. SJ hits a corner spear.

SJ chops him in the corner then misses a corner spear.TD rolls him up for 2. TD chinlocks SJ then throws him down backwards. SJ chokes him on the ropes. TD suplexes him for 2. TD boots him in the corner then foot chokes him. SJ northern lights suplexes him for 2. SJ is sent into the buckles and TD running facekicks him. TD picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was an average match for the most part. TD was the favorite going in and pulled it off as expected. 

Brandon Baretta is interviewed by Drew. Drew says Bobby D wants a rematch and isn't happen. Brandon says all that matters is that the promoter is happy in this company. He says he thinks Herb Simmons is the happiest man as Brandon is the top guy in any locker room he heads into and has SICW on his back. He says he whooped Bobby's @ss. He says Bobby can hope or dream but that the obligated rematch and it's done. He says if Bobby and Herb can come up with a big financial proposal that is worth his while, he will do it. Brandon says he's in demand but is ready to do business if it's fit.

Nasty Talk with Glenn Williams

Glenn says since he won so many titles, he thinks he knows what is hot and what's not in 2025. He says Billy McNeil and Curtis Wylde are not hot. He says he beat them with Super Assassin for the tag titles. He says they listen to weird music and dress weird. He says the crowd should chant, "let's retire" to them. He says what's not hot #2 is The Gateway Saints. He says he can't stand that team. He says they are on a nostalgic run but it's 2026 and he's kind of the mountain. He says isn't it crazy that Sean Vincent's knees have more snap, crackle and pop than cereal. He says what's not hot #1 is JBL. He says JBL won't accept his challenge. He says he's good enough and entertaining enough for JBL to face him but he won't give him his flowers. He says JBL has talked about getting back in the ring but asks what he will do with it.

He says what's hot #3 in 2025 is him and The Super Assassin. He says they beat Wylde and McNeil and calls them idiots. He says what's hot #2 is Brandon Barretta. He says he's been around and is a top guy everywhere. He says he goes and wins titles everywhere. He says what's hot #1 is him. He says nobody is on his level. He says he was a double champ that got screwed and said he hit a million views across all platforms. He says he's viral and has the momentum. He says he's what's hot now and forever.

Glenn then says he's used to be in the main event and wants to taste the next level. He says JBL won't accept his challenge. He says he needs Herb Simmons to quit being a coward and do his job. He says all Herb has to do is make the match. He asks what Herb is protecting and says it's not him. He says he's not scared of the wrestling god and says it's him. He says all he does is win and tells Herb to make the announcement. He says he will put the Central States Title on the line and says he will do whatever it takes. He says things may have to get worse around here if that doesn't happen and tells Herb to make the match.

James Jeffries is interviewed. He says it's great to be back. He thanks Curtis Wylde for having his back. He says he got beat last night. He says he has never felt anything so devastating like Super Assassin's heart punch. He says it's no joke and as tough as it comes. He says he's pumped to be back here tonight and says there' an opportunity to bring more hardware home tonight. He says he needed to find a partner and found Gary Jackson. He says he hopes they take home the tag titles.

SICW Tag Titles - Glenn Williams and The Super Assassin (c) vs Gary Jackson and James Jeffries

Gary and SA go at it. Gary ducks a lock up and hammerlocks him. SA wristlocks him. Gary elbows him in the arm and JJ then works the arm. JJ wristlocks SA. JJ bangs on SA's arm. Gary bottom rope double axe handles SA's arm.

SA eye rakes JJ in the corner. He forearms him from behind. JJ hits some bootes and punches. Gary works the arm and is pushed into the corner. Gary is double booted in the corner. Gary is then held for shots from Glenn. SA running back elbows Gary in the corner and hits punches. 

SA hits corner spears and they trade punches. SA lariats Gary for 2. Glenn suplexes Gary. Glenn bends over and Gary swinging neckbreakers him. JJ gets in and hits shots on the heels. JJ discus punches Glenn. JJ top rope crossbodies SA for 2. Glenn throws JJ over the top rope and is DQ'd.

Thoughts: The faces weren't moving that well here and we had a DQ, so this wasn't the greatest. Glenn throwing JJ over the top the should lead to something though.

The heels beat up Gary and JJ after. 

Overall thoughts: We had 3 new matches here and one longer segment with Glenn Williams trying to set up a match with JBL. The 3 matches were all on the shorter end and weren't must see. I thought it was an average episode overall but they made it clear where things are going in the future - Glenn Williams/JBL and Bobby D/Barretta.

El Coyote & Polvora vs. Atrapasuenos (Espiritu Negro & Rey Cometa)

Negro and Coy go at it. Coy guillotines him and they trade headlocks. Coy pulls his arms back and Negro headstands into a headscissor roll. Negro armdrags him and is shouldered over.

Coy gets enzugiri'd in the corner. Pol tags in and Rey 2nd rope diving headscissors him. Rey pop-up hurricanrana's him for 2. Rey ties up Pol and Coy breaks it up. Rey is tripped and pulled out then Coy is as well. Negro topes outside and Rey asai moonsaults outside.

Pol back body drops Rey. The heels hit dropkicks on Rey. Negro is on the 2nd rope and is dropkicked between the legs. Negro takes a double hiptoss then a double basement dropkick. Rey comes in and Coy stands on him. Rey handspring double back elbows then Negro springboard splashes the heels. Negro rope walk crossbodies Pol. Negro then walks up the buckles and diving headscissors Pol. 

Coy is sat up top. Rey walks up the ropes and corkscrew headscissors him. Rey then tornillo's outside. Negro gets a 2 count on Coy. Coy dropkicks Negro then springboard plancha's Negro outside. Rey top rope crossbodies Pol. 

Rey chops Pol and wasteland's him. Rey misses a 450 and Pol lariats him. Pol lifts Rey in the air, putting his arm around his neck and tying his legs up. Pol submits Rey.

Negro comes in. He's put up and Coy double underhook superplexes him for the pin.

Thoughts: It was an acceptable opener. Rey Comet is always fun and he did some of his signature dives here. Negro looked a little better than he has on some nights. The heels didn't really stand out.

Los Bestia Del Diablo (Akuma, Gemelo Diablo I & Gemelo Diablo II) vs. Los Herederos (El Cobarde, Felino Jr. & Hijo de Stuka Jr.)

Gem - either Gemelo Diablo

1st Fall - Akuma and Fel go at it. Akuma armlocks him and Fel armdrags him into a headscissors. They trade holds that go nowhere then armdrag each other. Akuma shoulders him over. Fel sweeps Akuma and they stand off. Stuka and a Gem get in. Gem back elbows him down. Stuka flips over his back then flying headscissors him. Stuka goes for a springboard outside and is pulled down.

Akuma lariats Cob over the top onto a Gem's shoulders. A Gem slams Fel inside then dives on Cob while he's in the electric chair outside. Akuma top rope splashes Fel and pins him. Akuma's team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Fel takes a triple team and takes a triple gorilla press lawn dart into the buckles. Cob lariats Stuka down. Cob takes a double flapjack then is triple dropped. The Gem's stomp Stuka. Stuka is pop up dropped, lariated, back elbowed then takes a triple dropkick. Cob is popped up into a headscissors on a Gem. Stuka top rope diving headscissors Akuma then Cob top rope dropkicks a Gem. Stuka gets on his partners shoulders and plancha's outside. 

Akuma is tripped in the ring and Stuka gets dropped onto him. Stuka and Cob hit dives outside and Fel la magistral's Akuma for the win. Felino Jr.'s team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Gem takes kicks from the faces then a high/low. Stuka gets on his partners shoulders and splashes down on Gem. Felino's team then stands on a Gem. Gem is double rolled into a triple superkick. Cob is popped up into a dropkick on a Gem. Akuma takes a sliding lairat from Fel. 

Fel nails Cob on a failed double team. Gem throws Fel over the top. Akuma is then double monkey flipped into a tope con hilo on the faces outside. Stuka is flipped into a sitout slam. Gem's team hits a double suplex on all 3 opponents. Akuma runs the ramp and is monkey flipped in with a 450 on all 3 opponents. Akuma gets a 2 count off of it.

Stuka flying crossbodies Akuma over the top. fel powerslams a Gem then powerbombs the other. Cob top rope swantons the Gem's and Fel top rope splashes the Gem's. Cob and Stuka pick up pins. Felino Jr's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was an alright match here. We got lots of flying as expected from Stuka's team. Los Gemelo Diablo rarely ever impress and they didn't do a ton of interest here but help Akuma on dives.  

La Jarochita, Skadi & Tabata vs. Persephone, Sanely & Zeuxis

1st Fall - Pers armdrags Tab to start. Tab rolls her and wristlocks her. Tab headflips out and armdrags her. Pers bridges out of a lariat. Tab splits out of a lariat. Pers rams Tab into the corner and hits boots there. Pers 2nd rope dropkicks her. 

Skadi comes in. She lays on the ropes then running knees Pers in the gut and sends her out. Sane comes in and Skadi catches her crossbody. Sane corner lariats her then boots her out of the corner. Sane 2nd rope double knee drops Skadi. Sane corner splashes Jaro then running boots her in the corner. Sane basement dropkicks Jaro for 2. 

Sane drops down and is double stomped on the back. Jaro basement dropkicks her. Z comes in and Jaro corner meteora's her from behind. Jaro ties up Z's legs and Pers breaks the hold. Pers headbutts Jaro then Jaro sunset flips her. Pers does a nasty armbar on her and submits her. Persephone' team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - Tab's arms are pulled around the ropes. Skadi boots her. Tab takes a double boot. Skadi takes corner attacks. Skadi is laid on the 2nd rope and Pers handstand double knee drops her. Z then kicks Skadi in the corner.

Jaro is double hiptossed into the ropes and lammed down. Sane basement dropkicks Jaro. Tab is held in the air and Sane double knee drops her off the buckles. Skadi is double stomped on by the heels and Sane bites her foot. Skadi's team makes a comeback. Jaro topes outside. Skadi sitout drivers Sane then Tab suplexes Z. Skadi's team gets double pins. Skadi's team wins the fall. 

3rd Fall - Pers flying headscissors Skadi. Skadi enzugiri's her in the corner and euros her over. Skadi double underhook backbreakers Pers. Z and Tab go at it. Tab bangs Z's head off the buckles then top rope diving headscissors her. Tab takes a double back elbow. Tab tries to walk up the ropes and flip but she botches it. She armdrags Z and Sane off of it anyway. Tab then poses.

Skadi and Z go into each other and Pers' team tries pins on them. Tab topes Z outside then Pers tope con hilos Skadi outside. Jaro  takes a sunset flip from Sane for 2. Sane bridging facebusters her. Tab stunners Sane and basement dropkicks her. Z meteora's Tab then Skadi lariats Z. Pers spears Skadi. Jaro running facekicks Pers in the corner.

Sane and Skadi get put on the buckles. Skadi is hurricanrana'd down  then Sane electric chair drivers Tab. Sane and Z pick up pins. Sanely's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. They had trouble with some of the moves as usual and it went a bit longer than it needed to.

AKARI from Pure-J comes out and greets the crowd.

Claudio Castagnoli does a promo. He says to show some respect for your world champ. He says he will prove that the best luchador does not come from Mexico but from Switzerland. He says Xelhua is going down.

Xelhua then does a promo. 

Johnny TV comes out with his team and talks on the mic. He talks in Spanish. He says his name is Johnny Consejo now.

Los Hermanos Chavez (Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja) & Soberano Jr. vs. MxM TV (Johnny Consejo, Mansoor & Mason Madden)

JC and Sob pose. JC shoves him on the lock up. Mansoor and Roja come in, pose then fight. They trade wristlocks. Roja trips him and legdrops the leg. They stand off and Mansoor poses. Roja kicks him in the leg. Mansoor is triple teamed in the corner. Sob stomps on Mansoor's back. 

Roja hits punches on Mansoor. Mansoor misses a corner charge then Roja flying headscissors him. Roja goes to pose and is leg lariated by Madden. Sob is crotched on the rail top. Oro takes corner attacks. Oro is held for a springboad enzugiri from JC. Madden punches down Sob then Sob is triple stomped on. JC rips Sob's mask.

Sob takes a side slam + legdrop combo and JC running ssp's Sob for 2. Roja is stomped on then JC's team poses. JC rolls Roja down. Roja is triple teamed and hit with punches. JC and Madden are dropkicked out. Oro's team then does triple stereo topes. Oro's team holds Madden in the corner and Sob rolls into a low blow on him. Madden takes corner attacks. Madden is then triple basement dropkicked. Madden kicks out of a triple pin attempt.

Sob dropkicks Madden then Oro and Roja double dropkick Madden. Oro's team poses. JC flying lariats Oro and Roja. JC topes Sob outside. Mansoor is superkicked and hit with a jade end for 2. Madden gets on the buckles and is double gorilla pressed down for 2. Sob's team hits triple splashes on him off the buckles for 2. Sob and Oro miss dives outside. Roja crabs Madden. Roja is held in the air for a jumping side kick from Madden. Roja takes a starship pain from JC. Roja is chokeslammed by madden and pinned.

Thoughts: The heels did a lot of posing here and ended up losing this one. Johnny looked good out there hitting his usual trademark spots. Sob's really over but they didn't do him much justice here to make him look good. This was average.

Mansoor talks on the mic after. He talks in Spanish and seems to want a tag title shot. Oro replies. Sob then talks and has words for Johnny. I think he challenges him for next week. Johnny accepts and Johnny's team then beats up on the other team. Johnny pulls Sob's mask off. Sob then goes after Johnny on the ramp and gets triple teamed. Oro and Roja then help out. 

Barbaro Cavernario vs. Flip Gordon

Barb and Flip lock up. They trade forearms. Barb knees him in the gut and slaps him. Flip back elbows him then Barb shoulders him over. Barb dropkicks him. Flip dropkicks him out then topes him. Flip chops Barb in the corner.

Flip goes up and over him and does backflips. Barb is booted and does the worm. Flip superkicks him. Barb goes to the ramp and Flip top rope crossbodies him there. Barb la rosa suplexes Flip on the ramp. Barb then vader bombs him on the ramp. 

Barb walks up the ropes and dropkicks Flip. Barb triangle springboard plancha's him outside. Flip is sent into the rails. Barb chops Flip in the corner then kicks him in the inner thigh. Barb corner lariats Flip. They trade chops in the corner. 

Flip hits a kneelift. Flip superkicks Barb off the apron then dropkicks him through the ropes. Flip 2nd rope 180 corkscrew flip dives him outside. Flip springboard dropkicks him inside then corner lariats him. Barb is sat up top. Flip 2nd rope green bay plunge's him for 2.

Flip springboard slingblades him. Flip springboards and is powerbombed down. Barb goes for a springboard splash but Flip gets his feet up. Flip finlay rolls him and 2nd rope moonsaults him. Flip misses a 2nd rope moonsault then Barb hits ataxia on him for 2. Flip hits chops and Barb chops back. Barb hits some slaps. Flip springboard stunners him. Flip hits a double underhook twisting drop and pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright but nothing too special. Flip hasn't been around a lot on som of the shows I have seen. Flip did his usual flying and Barb stuck to his usual match. 

CMLL World Heavyweight Title Match - Claudio Castagnoli (c) vs. Xelhua

They all take a photo before the match.

Xel side headlocks CC and they battle for control. They go to the mat. CC back elbows him. They get up and reset. Xel takes him down and does a heel hook on him. CC tries to roll him off then stomps on him.

CC back elbows Xel. CC slams him. Xel hits some armdrags and misses a dropkick. CC jackhammers him for 2. CC stomps him and rnning boots him. CC chops him in the corner then tries to pull his mask off. CC euros him in the corner. CC misses a corner charge and takes tilt-a-whirl backbreakers. Xel dropkicks him out then slingshot plancha's him. 

Xel suplexes him. Xel ties his arms up and rolls him into a pin for 2. Xel is on the 2nd rope and CC cutters him down. Xel top rope crossbodies him. Xel hurricanrana's him for 2. CC hiptosses Xel over the top. CC then flying la silla's him off the apron. CC sends Xel into the rails then running euros him there.

CC running lariats him for 2. Xel boots him in the gut then gorilla press slams him for 2. CC hits forearms in the corner. They chop each other. CC knees him in the gut and euros him down. Xel headstand spinning headscissors him. Xel then flying headbutts him. Xel takes him down by the arm. Xel puts a leg around his neck, grabs the legs and rolls him into a submission. CC rope breaks.

CC pop-up euros Xel for 2. Xel back body drops him and CC sunset flips him for 2. Xel la rosa drivers him for 2. CC begs off in the corner and puts the ref in his way. He moves the ref. CC facekicks him then giant swings Xel CC then hits a neutralizer and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't quite the technical battle you'd expect. It was still okay though and Xel made for a natural underdog with his size. Xel doing a gorilla press slam to him was impressive. Xel had no shot at winning this and lost as expected.

CC offers a handshake after then pulls away.

Difunto, Ultimo Guerrero & Volador Jr. vs. El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada, Mistico & Neon)

1st Fall - Mist runs in and is hit by UG on the ramp. UG whips him with something. Mist's team is then stomped on in the ring. MD and Neon are thrown out. Mist is tripped into a basement dropkick. Mist is stomped on by Vol and UG. Neon is corner lariated then Vol htis a superkick on him. MD is kicked in the leg. MD is pop up kicked and pinned. Dif rope walk dropkicks Neon in the corner and pins him. Volador Jr.'s team wins the fall.

2nd Fall - MD is sent to the ramp. He is bridged on the ropes and Dif is popped up and butt drops him in the gut. Mist is flipped from behind in the ring. UG pulls on Mist's mask up top. UG then baseball slides Mist off the apron. 

Neon comes in and Vol spinebusters him. He then holds him for a top rope Dif dropkick to the butt. The heels double wristlock Neon. Dif poses on Neon while he is bent over and Mist springboard headscissors Dif down. Mist is popped up and he headscissors UG down. He then tilt-a-whirl armdrags Vol and topes UG outside. 

Neon and MD hit stereo superkicks on the heels. MD top rope 450's on Vol while Neon double jump moonsaults Dif and pins him. Mistico's team wins the fall.

3rd Fall - Neon enzugiri's Vol from the apron then springboard diving armdrags Dif. Neon spinning headscissors Vol. Neon goes up the buckles and diving headscissors UG. Neon then jumps over the top and flying headscissors Dif down to the floor.

MD and Dif go at it. MD does some flips then walks up the buckles and seated corkscrew moonsault armdrags him down. MD is popped up to the top again. He flips off the top and diving armdrags Dif. MD flips to the ramp. Vol pops him up and he flying headscissors UG. MD corkscrew headscissors Vol.

Mist and UG go at it. Mist springboard twisting crossbodies him. Mist spinning headscissors him into la mistica and submits him immediately. Mistico's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: It was a rushed main and got less time than some of the midcard bouts. Why? Who knows. The first fall was a waste of time but it was still alright as the faces flew around a bit.

Overall thoughts: We had 7 matches here instead of the usual 6. Everything except the women's match was at least average to acceptable. I'd say take your pick on whether the main, semi main or the 2nd match was the best bout on this one. Nothing was absolutely must see though. It's fun when the foreigners come in, but CMLL has their own style and the styles clashes don't always end up being the dream matches you'd want. I'd give this a higher 6 out of 10 overall. It's a shame none of the three top matches got more time to develop and Claudio/Xelhua likely would have been a lot better with extra time.

We are in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are on commentary. 

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Cody Rhodes comes out to talk. He said Fatu found out he wasn't who he thought he was. He says their fun at SNME was ended by Drew McIntyre. Cody says Drew won the title and is nowhere to be found. He says it would make sense to win the Rumble for a 3rd time and challenge Drew. He says it may not be Drew though as Drew will face Sami Zayn. He says Punk is still champ though and they have to do it eventually. 

Randy Orton comes out. Orton say he loves the crowd. Orton says him and Cody are brothers and he respects him. He says nobody but him understood how it tore him up when he lost the title. Orton says a desperate Cody Rhodes is dangerous. Orton says there's nothing more dangerous than a viper chasing #15. He says they won't be friends tomorrow and he'll throw him over the top if he gets a chance. He says Cody's not the only one who won the Rumble twice.

Jey Uso comes out. Jey calls them "Randy Uce" and "Cody Uce". He says they are talking about winning their 3rd Rumble but he plans on winning back to back Rumbles then plans on becoming champ again. 

Sami Zayn comes out. Sami talks in Arbaic. He says he face Drew for the WWE Title tomorrow. He says three stories could come to an end tomorrow. He says he has to win the title, beat Drew who he has never beaten and says he has never lost a match here. He says if one of them wins The Rumble, it'll be him waiting for them on the other side. 

The Vision come out. Paul Heyman does his usual lines. He says he sees The Vision here and no vision with the 4 stars in the ring. He says he sees Sami who won't be champ tomorrow. He says he sees 3 men who won't win the Rumble and says it won't be their nights. He says tomorrow will be Bron Breakker's night. 

Orton tells Heyman to shut up. He dares The Vision to come down and get an @ss kicking. Nick Aldis comes out. He says we all can see where this is going and do The Vision vs Sami, Orton, Jey and Cody tonight.

WWE United States Title - Carmelo Hayes (c) vs Rey Fenix

This is an open challenge.

Melo drags him over on the lock up. Rey chops him, walks up the buckles and corkscrew diving armdrags him. Rey rope walk kicks him then tornillo's him hard outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Rey tries a la magistral and they roll around. Rey handspring back elbows him for 2. Rey hits kicks. Melo springboard twisting lariats him. Melo hits chops and forearms. Melo 2nd rope diving ddt's him for 2. They trade pin attempts. Rey superkicks him. Rey springboard spin kicks him. 

Melo cradles him for 2 off a mexican muscle buster attempt. Melo superkicks him. Rey swing kicks him in the face then superkicks him. They high kick each other down at the same time. 

They double lariat each other. We go to break and return. Rey double stomps him on the buckles. Rey double jump moonsaults him for 2. Melo la mistica drops him for 2. Melo pump kicks him then blind springboard diving ddt's him for 2. Rey rolls into a ddt on Melo for 2. Rey rolls and is caught with a first 48. Melo top rope diving legdrops him on the back of the neck and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't care for this. It was an indy style match with little selling and with it being an open challenge, there wasn't a lot of reason to care otherwise. Melo won as expected. 

The Miz goes up top Ilja Dragunov. Miz says he didn't thinking of throwing him over the top last week, Melo came up with the idea. Miz says he doesn't know him and has nothing against him. Drag then squeezes his hand on a handshake and says Miz cost him his match. He says tonight Miz is paying for what happened.

We see clips of Brock Lesnar calling into Pat McAfee's show and him announcing that he'll be in the Royal Rumble. 

R-Truth is playing with balls and making jokes again with Nick Aldis. Damian Priest walks in. DP is told he's in the Rumble. Truth has him pick a ball and he does. DP isn't thrilled about his number. Truth says he can go again and Nick says he can't. DP says he has more time to throw some fools out.

Drew McIntyre is interviewed outside. He says there's a lot of people talking a big game. He says Sami is and he's putting his foot in his mouth. He says he's got an 8-man tag before the biggest match of his life. He says he will do whatever it take to keep his title. He asks if Sami will do what it takes to take it from him?

Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley are interviewed. Rhea says they know it's everyone for themselves at the Rumble. Rhea says they will be friends after. Iyo said they fought at Mania and became friends after. Giulia and Kiana James come in. KJ doesn't buy it. Iyo and Giulia argue in Japanese. KJ says it won't come down to the 2 of them in The Rumble but but says Giulia will become a trple champ. Nia Jax and Lash Legend come in. Nia says they are entering the Rumble so the other 4 have no chance. Lash says they got whoever ends up tag champ.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss comes out. Flair says the women are at each other's throats but she's winning the Rumble and going to Mania. She says there's no one she'd rather have watching her back than Bliss. Bliss said she had the same plan and said she was planning on winning the Rumble. She says she plans on being the first girl to win the Rumble in Riyadh. Flair says it's everyone for themselves and asks if she thought she would help her win. Bliss says she doesn't need her help and says not everything is about her. Flair asks if Bliss is planning on throwing her over the top if she turns her back. Bliss asks if she will toss her over the top.

The Judgment Day of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez come out. Liv says how cute that the besties are fighting. She says while they backstab each other, one of them will win the Rumble. Bliss says that's not a plan. Flair says if you think they aren't friends, come down and find out. Liv says okay but then says yeah right. Liv says they have better things to do and says bye.

Nick Aldis comes out. He says if you step on this stage, you are volunteering to step in the ring. She says any 2 of them can face Bliss and Flair right now.

The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez) vs Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss)

We join this in progress. RP hides between the ropes and misses punches. RP slaps Flair and tags out. Flair chases her and forearms Liv outside. Liv hits Flair from behind and pounds on her. Liv kicks Flair in the ribs. Flair double suplexes her opponents. Bliss baseball slides the heels outside.

RP hits Bliss from behind inside and hits windmill shots on her. RP boots her in the gut. Liv step up knees Bliss in the corner for 2. Bliss basement dropkicks her. Raquel trips Bliss and Liv kicks Bliss down for 2.

RP sunset flips Bliss, Bliss rolls through and basement dropkicks her. RP euros Bliss on the ropes then trips her into them. RP running euros her in the back. Liv boots Bliss in the corner. Liv basement dropkicks her for 2. 

We go to PiP break and return. Bliss jawbreakers Liv and hits forearms. Li cradles her for 2 and they trade pin attempts. Flair is tagged in and she top rope crossbodies the heels. Flair chops both. Flair forward handspring lariats Liv. Flair fallaway slams RP. Flair top rope moonsaults the heels for 2. Liv step up enzugiri's Flair. Bliss running head hunters Liv for 2. 

Bliss takes a codebreaker into a russian legsweep or 2. Flair hits natural selection on Liv. Raquel distracts Flair. Flair gets chop blocked. Stephanie Vaquer comes in and takes out Raquel. RP is distracted and Bliss hits a sister abigail on RP to win.

Thoughts: It was a little hard to tell the girls apart at times as they were all in mostly black. It was a longer bout and I thought it was average. I didn't find it that interesting. Flair moves a lot more carefully than she used to.

Jordynne Grace is interviewed. She says the Rumble can change your life. She says she will bet on herself. Jade Cargill nails her from the side. They fight and it gets broken up. 

Johnny Gargano tells Candice LaRae they got this. Nick Aldis comes up to them and says LaRae is banned from ringside. They talk about the mask they stole and Nick says Axiom get the mask back if Axiom wins.

Axiom vs Johnny Gargano

Ax gets his mask back if he wins this. This feud has gone on forever and I hope it ends here. Ciampa is gone from WWE, so that's even more of a reason to end it.

Ax takes him down by the arm and wristlocks him. JG side headlocks him. Ax side headlocks him. Ax flying headscissors him. JG boots him in the gut. Ax backslides him for 1. JG chops him. Ax armdrags him from the 2nd rope and dropkicks him. Ax chops him.

JG hits him from behind. Ax is crotched up top. JG topes him outside. We go to break and return. Ax superkicks him in the gut and takes forearms. Ax enzugiri's him then JG step up enzugiri's him. Ax standing spanish flies him for 2. Ax half-nelson suplexes him out. Ax top rope moonsaults him outside. Ax top rope dropkicks him for 2. 

JG superkicks him then michinoku drivers him for 2. JG boots him out of the corner and is hit with a step up enzugiri. Ax 2nd rope neckbreakers him. JG b-drivers him for 2. JG is up top and Ax enzugiri's him. Ax top rope spanish flies him. Ax grabs the mask JG had. JG superkicks him. JG rolls him up for 2.

Ax misses an enzugiri. JG takes off Ax's mask. Ax puts on the other mask and golden ratio kick's JG to win.

Thoughts: It was a cruiserweight battle and wasn't anything too special. I didn't like the top rope spanish fly not meaning anything and nobody seemed to know who got the better of the 2nd rope neckbreaker spot. Ax won his mask and hopefully won this feud.

Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov talk. Melo says he didn't have anything to do with what Miz did. Ilja says when he got pushed out, Melo was right there. He says he doesn't know what to think about it. He says after he fights Miz, he's coming for Melo. He says he's not asking but he expects the same chance he gave Melo.

Trick Williams is interviewed. He makes the camera man film his shoes. He says the people love Trick all around the world. He says he put on a show at various places and asks what do you think he will do tonight? He says to subscribe to his website. He says he's got his sights on the main event of Wrestlemania.

AJ Styles comes out to talk. AJ says he was in the area and thought he'd say hello. He says he's got a big match tomorrow. He tells the fans not to worry about tomorrow as he will knock Gunther's teeth down his throat. He says tomorrow starts The Phenomenal Farewell Tour. He says he will get one more time matches with Orton, Rhodes and Punk. 

Gunther interrupts from behind the commentary table. Gunther says none of his future plans will happen. He says he made a mistake so severe that it'll cost him his career. He say he will end his career the same way he did it to Cena. He says he will make him tap out. AJ says he's funny and says Gunther was the one who tapped out like a little b!tch.

Gunther gets mad and gets on the apron. Gun backs off without doing anything.

Tama Tonga says he saw Nakamura's match last week and asks if he saw his. He says Nakamura used to be the king and the man and says the old Nakamura would have beaten AJ last week. He says he should follow AJ on his way out with the Shinsuke Sayonara Tour. Nakamura says he's a young punk and talks in Japanese. He challenges him for next week. 

The Miz vs Ilja Dragunov

Miz wristlocks him. Drag reverses it and trips him. Miz chops and and Drag fires up. Drag takes him down by the wrist. Miz shoulders him over then runs into a big chop. Drag jumping kicks him. Drag running facekicks him over the middle rope. Miz trips Drag on the 2nd rope. Miz running facekicks him out.

We go to break and return. Miz chinlocks him. Drag boots him out of the corner and hits forearms. Miz back body drops him the neckbreakers him for 2. Miz boots him around and hits forearms. They trade forearms and euros. Miz chops him then Drag enzugiri's him. 

Drag chops him in the corner then Mix chops back. Drag hits a chop flurry on him. Drag tiger feint lariats him for 2. Drag hits germans. Drag backdrops him. Miz ddt's him for 2.  

Miz kicks him while he's down. Drag misses an enzugiri. Miz flying corner lariats him. Miz is up top and Drag chops him. They fight on the buckles and Drag is sent down. Miz comes off the top and Drag flying headbutts him in the chest. Drag hits an h-bomb and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. Miz hasn't been treated seriously lately and shouldn't have been going even with Drag at times. This went long and just wasn't super interesting.

The MFT's do a video. Solo says he told everyone what he was going to do and he did it. He says he took Howdy's lantern and his tag titles. He says he took everything he loves away. He says he's a man of his word. He says the tag titles aren't for him, they are for his family. He says the job is not done yet as he will win the Rumble tomorrow. The Wyatt Sicks then take over the feed. Howdy says Solo's wrong if he thinks he has won. He says he has underestimate the weight of sacrifice. He says he lantern and the tag titles will come back to them. He says they will come back for what is theirs and says Solo's greed is his demise.

We get an Oba Femi video. He should be in the Rumble tomorrow.

Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn vs The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory)

The fight starts before Cody comes out and the faces take a 4v3. Cody then runs down. Cody hits punches on Logan. Reed takes shots from Jey and goes out. Sami and Jey hit stereo dives outside. We go to PiP break and return. 

Cody top rope elbow drops Bron's arm. Sami then does the same. Cody boots Bron off the ropes then Bron running lariats him. Bron foot chokes Cody. Cody is hit with a double shoulder, a senton and a standing moonsault from Bron for 2. 

Austin hits mounted punches on Cody then chinlocks him around the bottom rope. Reed pounds on Cody. Logan knees Cody in the chest then stomps him. Logan gutwrench slams Cody. Bron overhead suplexes Cody and does Orton's pose. Bron hits corner spears on Cody. Austin rams Cody's back into the rails. We go to break and return.

Reed elbow drops Cody for 2. Bron gets on Reed's back and they splash Cody together for 2. Logan misses a corner splash on Cody. Cody suplexes Bron. Cody avoids an Austin elbow drop then a Reed senton. Orton and Austin get in. Orton hits lariats and powerslams Austin. Orton draping ddt's Austin.

Sami pounds on Logan and throws him out. Multiple people get thrown out. Orton RKO's Austin for 2. We get a bunch of signature moves from the wrestlers. Sami tornado ddt's Reed. Drew McIntyre comes out and trips Sami to cause a DQ.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout with a lame finish. Man I can't believe I sat through 3 hours for that finish. There were a lot of people coming in and out of this one whenever they pleased and if you blinked, you missed something.

Drew attacks Sami and throws him in the ring. Drew wants to hit him with the title. Jacob Fatu then hits Drew from behind and stomps him. Fatu topes Drew and Cody topes Fatu. Fatu is sent into the post then Cody goes into the post. Sami helluva kicks Drew. Sami and Cody then grab the title together to end the show.

Overall thoughts: These 3 hour Smackdowns are really tough to get through. This show just dragged on and on with endless commercials. And because The Rumble is tomorrow, people were taking it easy and nothing was too great. Add it being cold outside onto it and add a lot of the seats being empty and it didn't lead to greatness. It was nice that we got a more star-studded line-up than usual though and everything made sense, just it was long and slow.. There was really nothing here worth seeing and I wouldn't recommend it at all. I would give this a 5 out of 10 as it was average.

ROH Women's Title Proving Ground Match - Athena vs Vertvixen

Ath waistlocks her and then armdrags her. Ath side headlock takeovers her. Ath tiger feint side headlock takeovers her. Vert shoulders her over. Vert sweeps her then elbows her back. Vert exploders her. Vert pump kicks her in the corner. 

Ath flying headscissors her and single leg codebreakers her. Ath pulls on her mouth then grabs her by the nose. Ath forearms her then slaps her around. Vert hits shots to the gut and shoulder throws her. Vert rolls her up for 2 then Ath gets a 2 count. Ath suplexes her then running kicks her in the head. Ath forearms her over for 2. Vert's nose is busted open.

Ath hits knees to the face and a cravate. Vert armdrags her. Ath misses a corner charge and goes face first into the buckles. Vert upkicks her from the mat and slams her. Vert bangs her own head off the buckles. Vert disaster kicks her. Ath goes for a casadora and is hit with a blue thunder for 2. Ath goes for a dive outside but is knee'd in the head.

Ath powerbombs Vert into the rails then sends her into the steps. Ath hits mounted shots. Ath then does something like ataxia into a koji clutch and submits her.

Thoughts: It was the usual reckless Athena squash where she buries her opponent at every opportunity and wins. Vert got her nose busted open here and Ath won as expected. Vert at least fired up a bit when she got bloodied and tried to make a match out of this.

They shake hands after. Diamante then hits Vert from behind. Billie Starkz joins in on the beating. Maya World and Hyan run out and Ath's crew leaves.

The Infantry and Trish Adora talk. Bravo says they need clarification. Trish asks if he's gonna hit on any girl he sees. He then brings in the woman he was talking with. He tells Dean about meeting a runway model in Paris and says that's her. He says she's a D-1 athlete and a model. He says her name is Christyan XO. Bravo says she should be with them and they can be a thing. Dean talks to Trish about it. Trish isn't thrilled and Dean agrees. Bravo then says she does have sisters. Bravo says they will go get re-acquainted and Christian says, "bye, new family". Trish says this is not an adoption.

Adam Priest vs Anthony Henry

They shake hands and don't let go. AP shoves him. Ant rolls him off the lock up. AP is pushed to the apron then pushed down to the floor. Ant is then pushed out. AP side headlock takeovers him. Ant headscissors him and they stand off. Ant takes him down by the arm. AP trips him and slaps him in the corner. Ant then takes him down.

Ant boots him in the gut and takes chops in the corner. AP dropkicks him. Ant neckbreakers him over the top rope connector. Ant twists AP's neck with his feet inside. AP hits him in the chest then sends him into the rails and apron edge.

AP is sat up top and Ant chops him. AP bites his finger then headbutts him off the buckles. AP hits lariats and drops him. AP running chops him in the corner. AP germans him. 

Ant slides out and AP dropkicks him through the ropes. Ant's head is banged off the steps. Ant knees him in the head. AP hangs over the 2nd rope and Ant misses a double stomp. AP chops him in the knee and hits a short piledriver for 2. 

AP back elbows him out of the corner. Ant enzugiri's him on the buckles. Ant superplexes him down but AP grads a cradle off of it and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay and spirited battle here with the two stiffing each other and bringing some hate. This was a nothing match going into it but they made something out of it and it was fine.

Tommy Billington vs Aaron Solo

They lock up. Solo rolls him off the lock up then Tom does the same. They trade wristlocks. Solo back elbows him. They trade forearms. Tom shoulders him over twice. Solo back body drops him over the top. They each hit shots outside. Solo kicks the ropes into Tom's crotch. Tom is sent chest first into the buckles. 

Solo shoves his head from behind. Solo suplexes him. Solo backdrops him then knee drops him. Solo sleepers him. Tom rolls him then hits a big lariat. Tom dropkicks him then slams him. Tom headbutts him off the buckles then top rope dropkicks him.

Solo blocks a piledriver and jack knifes him for 2. Solo spinning corkscrew kicks him for 2. Tom hits a piledriver. Tom then hits a second piledriver and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter battle and a lesser version of the previous match. It was anything too special. 

Rocky Romero talks to Adam Priest in the back. RR says AP looked good in his match tonight. He says he heard AP is talking crap about The Don Callis Family. He says he heard that AP said he could beat The Family. RR says they are a family of champs. AP says they are racking up losses and losing gold. AP says he's been racking up wins and says he wants gold. RR asks if he's serious about wanting a match with Okada and doesn't believe it. He asks if he wants to put his name in the same sentence as him. AP says it sounds good. RR tells him to show up in 48 hours on Collision and offers an International Title match. AP says to tell Okada he will be there.  

Katsuyori Shibata vs JD Drake

KS offers a handshake. JD is unsure. He shakes then gets hit several times. Ks hits forearms and boots in the corner. KS then back kicks him while he's down. JD running lariats him and back elbows him. JD slams him then headbutt drops him. They go out. JD chops him outside. JD is on the apron and KS running facekicks him down. JD is sent into the rails. 

KS puts him in a chair then boots him over. KS hits chops in the corner. KS running dropkicks him in the corner. KS suplexes him. KS boots and kicks him while he's down. They trade chops. JD hits a spinebuster for 2. JD hits a stiff corner cannonball. JD then vader bombs him for 2.

KS low blows JD then armbars him. KS then submits him.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit cheap but I liked this otherwise. The crowd got into this. They hit each other hard and mostly stuck to strikes here which was fine by me. This worked.

Ladybird Monroe and Viva Van vs Hyan and Maya World

Lady is an ROW regular and has appeared in the NWA before. She's definitely someone who is on the cusp on getting signed somewhere. Hyan's team comes out with Texas colors on and sashes with "cowgirl" on then. Maya is also an ROW regular.

The girls shake hands. Van and Maya go at it. They trade wristlocks. Van flips out of it off the bottom rope and mMaya rolls out of an armdrag. Van rolls out of a lariat then rolls her up for 1. They do some nice rolls and stand off then shake hands.

Lady and Hy go at it. Hy trips her and rolls her into a gordbuster. Maya low bulldogs Lady and Lady takes a basement dropkick for 2. Lady takes a double clothesline then Hy legdrops her for 2. Hy is pushed into the buckles and Lady running euros her. Van slingshots over Hy then spinning heel kicks her. Lady is flipped by Van into a moonsault on Hy for 2.

Hy boots Lady out of the corner and lariats her. Hy corner splashes her. Lady takes a blockbuster + russian legsweep combo for 2. Hy topes Van outside. Lady cartwheels and backflips out of the corner but Maya dropkicks her during it. Lady is lifted for a Maya flatliner. Hy pins Lady.

Thoughts: It was a nice little tag. They didn't botch anything and they showed some athleticism here. Ladybird had a good showing here when she needed to. This beat my expectations and was fun.

Athena, Starkz and Diamante beat up Maya and Hyan after. Athena asks if we all forgot whose show this is. She says this is a reminder. Billie and Dia grab Hyan and Maya. Ath says they were her Metroplex minions before they were All ELite. She says it's her responsibility to take her out of her world. She tells them to get a partner at ROH/MPX Global Wars in a trios match.

Tony Nese vs Mascara Dorada

Mark Sterling does the intro for Nese. Mark says Austin is the RC Cola of Texas. He says he only brought Nese as Nese can take the whole city of weirdos by himself. He then tries to get the crowd to do the "Athletes Rule" chant but the crowd says they suck.

They shake hands. Nese poses. They lock up. Nese shoulders him over. Nese back elbows him and flips over him. Nese then does jumping jacks. MD walks up the buckles and does a seated corkscrew moonsault armdrag off the ropes. 

They go out. MD hits forearms on Nese then sends him into the post. MD chops him out there. Mark Sterling blocks MD then Nese hits MD in the throat. MD is then sent into the rails. Mark Sterling chokes MD with his arm sling outside. Nese chops MD against the commentary table.

Nese boots MD in the corner. They go on the buckles and Nese is pushed down. Nese blocks a tornado ddt and northern lights suplexes him. Nese rolls out of a sunset flip and spin kicks Md in the head. Nese bodyscissors him.

Nese grounded bearhugs him. Nese hits a running corner lariat. MD enzugiri's him out of the corner. MD top rope diving tornillo armdrags him. MD corkscrew headscissors him. MD then tornillos him over the top rope. MD springboard frogsplashes him for 2. Nese flips out of a suplex and double stomps him for 2. 

MD dropkicks him. MD goes up top and Mark pulls Nese out. Nese runs in and lariats him. Nese hits a pumphandle fire thunder driver for 2. MD hits chops. MD backrolls into kicks on Nese. Mark gets on the apron and MD is distracted. Nese is sent into Mark. MD hits an electric chair driver on Nese. MD top rope ssp's Nese and wins.

Thoughts: It was acceptable but not as good as it should have been. They lost the rhythm in the last few minutes and the last few minutes really dragged here. The pumphandle fire thunder should have put MD down. There was a lot of shenanigans here.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual ROH show with some decent matches but few storylines and few champs involved. It was nothing I would recommend checking out but it was alright overall. Either the women's tag or Priest/Henry was the best match of the night. I would give it a low 6 out of 10.

Young Lion Cup 2026 First Round Match - Masatora Yasuda vs. Tatsuya Matsumoto

Tat takes him down and slaps him. Tat hammerlocks him then Msa reverses it. Masa side headlock takeovers him. Tat headscissors him and they stand off. They mat wrestle and Tat hammerlocks him. They each go for wrist holds. Tat pulls on Masa's ankle then Masa goes for the armbar. Tat leglocks him and Masa chops him while in the hold.  

Tat elbow drops the leg then leglocks him. Tat elbow drops his leg again then twists the foot. Masa dropkicks him. Masa hits forearms in the corner and foot chokes him. Masa stomps him and hits a big slam for 2. Tat rope breaks. They each hit forearms and slap each other. Tat leglocks him again. 

Tat kicks him in the knee, slams him and half-crab's him. Masa dropkicks him. Masa back body drops him then suplexes him. Masa does a bad standing moonsault for 2. Masa crabs him and Tat taps out.

Thoughts: It was an okay young lions match here. Tat worked the leg for most of this and Masa won with a crab. Masa got to do a new standing moonsault here but he didn't hit it clean.

Masa butts heads with Shoma Kato after and shoves him. 

Young Lion Cup 2026 First Round Match - Zane Jay vs. Daiki Nagai

They trade forearms and each of them hit a bunch. Zane hits some chops as well. Zane snpamares him and armbars him. Nagai rope breaks. They trade forearms. Zane yanks the arm and takes him over into an armbar. Zane slams him for 2. Nagai hits forearms. Zane thesz presses him and hits more forearms. Zane kimura's him.

They each hit forearms. Nagai twisting crossbodies him and dropkicks him. Nagai hits forearms on him in the corner and foot chokes him. Nagai corner dropkicks him for 2. Nagai slaps him and Zane dropkicks him. 

They trade more forearms. Nagai spinebusters him then crabs him. Callum Newman gets on the apron and Nagai hits him. Newman hits him with a forearm. Newman gives Zane a chair and tells him to use it. Zane hits Nagai with it and is DQ'd.

Thoughts: I didn't like the finish at all. Why would you get yourself DQ'd in front of the ref in a tournament match? I also just didn't like the idea of one of these tournament matches having something like this. I liked what we got up to that though as they stiffed each other with forearms and had a spirited bout. 

Shingo, Yota, Hiromu and others help out Nagai after then Zane leaves with Newman.

Aaron Wolf, El Desperado, Master Wato, Toru Yano & YOH vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo, DOUKI, EVIL, Ren Narita & Yujiro Takahashi)

Despy wristlcoks Douki. Douki eye rakes him then wristlocks him. Despy side headlocks him and Douki pulls the hair. Togo kicks Despy from the apron and Douki knocks down Despy. Douki stomps Despy. Despy shoulders over Douki. 

Yano and Yoh get in and are hit. They then pull Evil and Yujiro down by the hair. Yano and Yoh then get hit from behind. Evil chokes Yoh. Yoh takes a double shoulderblock. Togo sentons Yoh for 2. 

Yujiro hits Yoh's back and throws him over. Ren chairs Yoh outside. Yoh double dropkicks Evil and Yujiro. Wolf gets in and shoulders over Ren. He corner lariats him then suplexes him. Wolf elbow drops him for 2. Ren rolls Wolf into a leglock and Wolf rope breaks.

Ren stomps on Wolf's knee. Wolf no sells a facekick then hits an AA on Ren. Wato comes in and chest kicks Ren down. Togo trips Wato from the outside then the heels knock the faces off the apron. Togo pushes the ref, the ref pushes him back and Togo flair flops. Togo blocks Wato's sunset flip. Wato trips him and Togo counters a la magistral. Togo rolls up Wato for 2. Wato then taps out Togo with the moss-covered three handed family gradunza.

Thoughts: It was a short tag match. Everyone got a short section in and Yano barely did anything but a quick hair pull. This wasn't much of note. 

United Empire (Callum Newman, Francesco Akira, Great-O-Khan, Jake Lee & Jakob Austin Young) vs. Unbound Co. (Gedo, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, Taiji Ishimori & Yota Tsuji)

Unbound attacks UE before it starts. Yota sends Lee into the rails and Shingo stomps Khan. Shingo headbutts Khan and hits corner spears. Yota beats up Lee in the stands. Khan stomps Shingo's foot and hits mongolian chops. Shingo mongolian chops him back. Khan bites Shingo's head then Shingo bites him back. 

Shingo hits punches on Khan. He slams some of his opponents and back body drops Newman. Shingo punches Lee. Lee running knees him in the gut. Shingo is down and holding his rib and the match stops. Lee misses a facekick and Shingo tags out.

Yota and Jake trade forearms. Yota facekicks Lee and kicks him in the chest. Yota tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Akira and Young. He pop up drops Newman then flatliners him and curbstomps him. Yota topes Lee outside. Yota corner splashes Lee then misses a marlow crash. Lee rolls up Yota for 2. Lee knees Yota in the gut and hits a ddt.

Hiromu and Young trade chops. Taiji springboard la silla's Akira and Hiromu gets a 2 count off of it. Akira is kicked by Taiji and ends up powerbombing Young. We get some fast paced action and Hiromu lariats Young. Akira step up enzugiri's Hiromu. Hiromu pop-up sitout powerbombs Akira.

Gedo comes in and hits punches on Akira. Akira grabs him by the beard. Gedo jawbreakers Akira then takes a flying knee from Newman. Newman hits overkill on Gedo. Akira does something like an emerald flowsion on Gedo and pins him.

Thoughts: It had a lot of action and a lot going on. What we got was fine here. Shingo seemed to hurt one of his ribs during this and wasn't seen after. This wasn't bad.

UE call Yota into the ring after. Jake Lee goes up to Yota. Yota says he's not accepting his challenge. He says it's Jake's birthday and he must have something to say. Jake boots him and guillotines him while holding the mic in his face. Jake puts Yota's title on his face and bows like some kind of burial ceremony.

SHO talks on the mic before his match. 

SHO vs. Kosei Fujita

Ren hits KF as he poses on the ropes. Ren foot chokes him. Ren swing a chair at him but KF dropkicks the chair into his face.  

KF throws him out then throws him into the rails. KF kicks him against the rails. KF PK's him for 2. KF's arm is banged over the top rope then KF is sent into the rails. KF's arm is sent into the post. Sho then beats up Murashima. He chairs KF outside.

Sho elbows the arm inside then armbars him. KF step up enzugiri's Sho. KF springboard dropkicks him for 2. KF does a surfboard with a chinlock and Sho escapes. Sho puts the ref in KF's way then spears him. Sho grabs a wrench and the ref takes it. Sho pushes KF into the ref and low blows him. 

Sho misses a shot with a sign. The ref sees KF with the sign. KF hits Sho with it and gets DQ'd.

Thoughts: It wasn't much with Sho working the arm, cheating and KF eventually cheating back and being DQ'd.

Kanemaru comes out to beat up KF then Robbie Eagles follows him and fights him outside. 

Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Robbie Eagles

Rob chops him against the rails as KF takes Sho to the back. YK eye rakes him. Rob boots him out of the corner and flying headscissors him. Rob spinning heel kicks him. Rob double flying knees him in the corner then corner meteora's him for 2.

YK dropkicks Rob in the knee. YK yanks on the leg. Rob drops Yk on his knees. Rob 619's YK in the back of the legs. YK throws the ref into Rob and dropkicks him. YK reverse ddt's him. YK tries to spit whiskey at him and falls. YK holds the ref down and spits whiskey in Rob's eyes. YK flying headscissors Rob into a pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and not good. YK put his hands on the ref multiple times and won by cheating. The ref did nothing about the cheating as usual. 

NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Title Match - TMDK (Hartley Jackson, Ryohei Oiwa & Zack Sabre Jr.) (c) vs. Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) & Oleg Boltin

Zack and Goto fight. They go to the ropes. Goto side hedlocks him and shoulders him over. Goto misse an elbow drop. Zack hits euros on the ropes. Goto boots him off the ropes then Zack is hit with a double shoulderblock. Oiwa is suplexed onto Zack. Hart's back is clubbed on by Goto's crew.

Yoshi corner chops Zack. Zack pele kicks the arm. Oiwa armlocks Yoshi then shoulders him over. Oiwa armdrags him into an armlock. Oiwa hiptosses him into an armlock. Hart elbows Yoshi's arm. Hart chops him down and elbow drops him. Zack armbars Yoshi. Hart legdrops Yoshi's arm then chops him in the corner.

Oiwa slams and splashes Yoshi then armlocks him. Goto is thrown out. Yoshi dropkicks Hart in the knee. Oleg comes in and corner splashes Hart. Hart hits forearms and a corner splash. Hart lariats him over. Hart misses a senton. Oleg karelin's lift's him.

Oiwa and Hart lariat each other then chop each other. Hart sentons him. Zack comes in and hits kicks on a downed Oleg. Oleg hits chops on him. Zack hits euros then Oleg belly to belly suplexes him. Zack gets his knees up on a vader bomb and Zack gets a 2 count on him.

Oleg suplexes Zack. Zack then does a bridge pin on him for 2. Zack PK's Oleg. Zack tries a flying triangle and Oleg powerbombs him off of it. Goto and Oiwa collide. Goto GTR's him then lariats him. Oiwa suplexes Goto. Goto takes a lariat + enzugiri combo. Hart slams Goto and Oiwa top rope diving splashes Goto while Zack twists Goto's neck.

Oiwa suplexes Goto for 2. Yoshi superkicks Oiwa then Goto ushigoroshi's Oiwa off of it. Zack hits kicks on Oleg and Oleg F-5's him. Oleg belly to belly suplexes Hart. Oiwa germans Oleg then lariats him over the top.

Oiwa lariats Goto down and doctor bomb's him for 2. Oiwa spinning lariats Goto for 2. Oiwa is german'd by Yoshi then Oleg rams Oiwa into the corner. Oiwa takes corner attacks then a double team reverse lifting ddt + splash combo. Goto GTR's Oiwa and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like Oiwa losing here but this was a solid battle otherwise, just like the main. They kept things moving and had lots of hard shots. Oleg and Hart was fun as usual and Oiwa stiffed everyone. 

The Knockout Brothers head out to do commentary. 

IWGP Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Match -Taichi & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Shota Umino & Yuya Uemura

Yuya and Ishii go at it. They slap and forearm each other. Yuya armdrags him. Yuya dropkicks him down. Tai and Shota get in and trade shots. Tai facekicks him four times and then Shota shoulders him over. Shota takes shots at Ishii on the apron and Ishii no sells them. Shota hits chops and forearms on Tai in the corner. Tai high kicks him out of the corner.

Ishii chops Shota and they butt heads. Shota chops back and Ishii no sells them. Ishii hits more chops. Yuya and Ishii trade. Ishii sends him into the rails outside. Ishii boots Shota around inside. Shota chops him then is back elbowed down.

Tai boots Shota in the head and back. Tai hits Kawada kicks then chest kicks. Shota dropkicks him. Yuya top rope chops Tai then slams him. Yuya knocks Ishii off the apron. He armdrags Tai and sends Ishii into the rails out. Yuya bulldogs him for 2. 

Tai drops him with a side kick. Tai boots him out of the corner then enzugiri's him in the corner. Tai takes his pants off. Yuya kimura takeovers him. Tai sumo throws him then gamengiri's him. Yuya rolls on him to avoid a backdrop. Tai takes corner attacks. Shota enzugiri's Yuya when Ishii ducks. Tai facekicks Ishii when Shota moves. Shota tornado ddt's Tai.

Shota flying knees Tai in the corner from behind. Shota superplexes Tai and Yuya frogsplashes Tai off of it for 2. Ishii takes a double backdrop. Tai lariats Shtoa then Yuya germans Tai for 2.  

Tai blocks a sunset flip and gets a 2 count on it. Tai saito suplexes him for 2. Yuya enzugiri's Tai. Shota forearms Ishii then Ishii drops him with a forearm. Ishii superplexes Shota. Shota spinning forearms Ishii. Shota dropkicks him. Ishii shoulders him over then germans him. 

Ishii is hit with a double dropkick. Ishii forearms Yuya then suplexes Shota. Yuya double underhook supelxes Ishii. Tai head kicks Yuya. Shota lariats Tai down. Shota is caught in the corner with an enzugiri and a powerbomb. 

Ishii running lariats Shota for 2. Ishii tries to suplex Shota but takes a nasty looking ddt on his head off of it. Ishii then lariats Shota over. Yuya dropkicks Ishii then gets headbutted and forearmed. Yuya drops him with a headbutt.

Shota flyng knees Ishii then powerbombs him for 2. Ishii headbutts and forearms Shota. Shota lariats him twice for 2. Shota flying knees Ishii. Tai forearms Shota down. Shota enzugiri Tai, Tai sit out side slams him then Ishii sliding forearms Shota for 2.  Shota takes a kick to the gut + a piledriver for 2. Yuya hurricanrana's Ishii. Tai chops Yuya then back hands him. 

Yuya hits headbutts on Tai and hits a front suplex on him. Yuya dropkicks Ishii. Ishii enzugiri's Yuya. Ishii takes a lariat into a dragon suplex. Shota running lariats Ishii. Shota fisherman busters Ishii for the win.

Thoughts: They tried but I didn't quite think it was the classic they were shooting for. Something was missing here and I'm not sure what. I'd say they maybe stiffed each other too good but didn't really sell it enough or get meaning out of it. I think things also would have been better if the crowd liked Shota, which they really didn't here. It was okay but not quite great. 

Yuya and Shota talk to Tai after. Yuya puts him over and says the strong style of NJPW exists because of him. He says they need to face him again. Shota tells the Knockout Brothers they are next. Yuto and Oscar come in. Yuto says they got stronger and says let's get high together. He says you don't have to think but have to feel. They then leave. Yuya then butts heads with Shota and says he's frustrated about past losses to them. Shota says he doesn't feel the pain of past losses and says they should fight together. Shota thanks everyone for watching. Shota says he doesn't think he is cool and thinks the people who try and don't give up are the coolest. He says it's time to stop focusing on defeats and turn the energy into a weapon. 

Overall thoughts: The opener was an okay young lions match. Zane Jay stupidly got himself DQ'd in his Young Lions Cup match and lost. The HoT tag wasn't much of note but I liked UE vs Unbound. Sho/KF was the usual HoT match and wasn't that good and Kanemaru/Eagles sucked. I liked the two main events. They were similar matches though I didn't quite thing the main lived up to some of the hype. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as the Zane Jay stuff sucked as did the House of Torture stuff. It was an okay show overall, propped up by the last 2 matches.
