We are at the Performance Center.
We see Shiloh Hill making his NXT TV debut vs Lexis King. He says he feels great.
Matt Bloom, Natalya, Kevin Owens, Bubba Ray and Booker T talk. Bloom says Carlee Bright needs to lean into her shots. Bloom says Layla Diggs wants to try some heel work. We hear from Layla Diggs. She talks about doing track. She says she's been here for 2 years and makes her own gear. Owens talks to her about working heel. Owens says some people think being a heel is being less interesting. Owens says he wants her to be more expressive.
Carlee talks to Natalya. She's been here 3 years. Carlee says she was a gymnast and a cheerleader and it brought her here. She says she's tired of seeing people pass her by. Natalya says Diggs called her a pushover and a doormat. Nat says the biggest thing is being relatable and tells Carlee to throw some sound into it. Bloom says Carlee is an amazing athlete but connecting is the key. He says she needs to tell a story.
Carlee Bright vs Layla Diggs
We are the Evolve arena for this. Carlee was cut 2 weeks ago. Diggs wristlocks her. CB kips up, cartwheels out and writ throws her. CB then dances and spanks herself. CB flying headscissors Diggs but Diggs lands on her feet. CB hits armdrags and a dropkick. CB armlocks her.
CB goes for a crossbody and is dropkicked in mid-air. Diggs bangs CB's head off the mat and elbow drops her. Diggs flying knees her in the corner. Nat says CB is selling well. Diggs bodyscissors her. CB hits lariats and a swinging neckbreaker.
CB tornado bulldogs her for 2. They go up on the buckles. CB knocks her down and top rope crossbodies her. Diggs rolls through for 2. Diggs corkscrew kicks her for 2. CB headscissors her into an overdrive and pins her.
Thoughts: As always with these matches, this was a somewhat clipped version of the match. What we saw looked fine. CB can do the basic face stuff fine but I think she was running out of things to do at the. Diggs didn't show much as a heel but it was fine.
Diggs says she feels good after and wishes she was more in the moment. Owens says they had energy and says she's a good heel. Owens tells her matches are like a rollercoaster. Diggs says she thought it was bad but Owens liked it so she's doing something good.
Nat says she felt something different in Carlee and says to do 1% more next time. Carlee says it was a statement made. She says she's here to be great.

Harlem Lewis and Mike DeRudder vs Harley Riggins and Jax Presley
We are at the Evolve arena for this.
Booker says Lewis was the best on LFG 2 and he likes his attitude. Lewis and HR go at it. HR yanks on the arm then Lewis armdrags him into an armlock. Lewis short arm lariats HR. Mike hits HR in the gut and works his arm. HR throws him down backwards and knee drops him.
Jax bangs Mike's head off the buckles. Jax side slams him for 2. Jax wristlocks Mike. Mike walks up his knee to escape. Mike's crossbody is caught. Jax blocks a sunset flip and is forearmed. Mike dropkicks HR.
We go to break and return. HR pulls back on Lewis' arms. Booker says his guys know how to make themselves look good but can't make the others look good. Lewis back body drops HR. Mike springboard lariats in. Mike flips over HR then spinning backdrops HR. Mike lands on his feet on a moonsault and sicide dives both opponents.
Mike doctor bombs HR for 2. Jax and Lewis trade. Jax is thrown out and brings Lewis with him. HR rolls up Mike then double throat thrusts him. HR drops Mike face first from his shoulders and pins him.
Thoughts: Again, it was definitely clipped up. It was nice to see 4 alpha male types go at it. Mike shined here. They spent a bit too much on armwork for how long this was. It was acceptable.
HR tries to pick a fight with Lewis after. They hit each other.
Owens tells them the work was solid but it was boring and they didn't know who was the face and heel. Booker says HR and Jax had 4 minutes of heat and didn't get the faces over. Lewis complains about HR spitting on him. HR says it felt like the right thing to do. Booker says he doesn't fight back in front of the fans and says he handles it in the back.
Booker talks to Tristan Angels/Nathan Cranton. Tristan is 22 and a 7th gen sheep farmer. He says his granddad only stopped working to watch wrestling. He says he can sheer a sheep in a minute. Booker asks if he thought it was real or entertainment. Tristan says he knew but didn't care. Booker says he sees big things for him and thinks he can take LFG 3 by storm.
Bubba talks to Drake Morreaux. He says he believes in him and wants him to succeed. Bubba says it has to happen now. Bubba tells him he wants it to work for him and chops him.
Bloom says he needs Drake to become a big dangerous guy.
Nathan Cranton vs Drake Morreaux
We are the NXT arena for this.
NC side headlocks Drake then poses. NC is shoved down twice. DM side headlocks him. DM shoulders him over a few times. DM hiptosses him. DM misses a facekick and NC clips him. NC punches him then kicks him in the leg. NC twists his leg nd tries to pin him.
DM then twists his leg and is hit in the knee. DM kneelifts him then throws him down backwards. DM drops him with forearms and a slam. DM's leg gives out on him. NC rolls him up with his feet on the ropes and is caught. DM spinning lariats him. DM hits a big chokeslam and wins.
Thoughts: I thought this was a decent bout. They didn't get a ton of time but Drake got his leg worked on and sold it before winning.
Bubba complains about Drake dancing after with the hurt leg. Bubba says Shawn watched the whole match and asks if Drake accomplished what he was supposed to. Bubba asks if he could have done better and he says no.
Drake goes to a meeting with Shawn Michaels the next day. Shawn says he's been here 3 years and says his time at the PC is going to be over with. We go to break and return. He says they have to make decisions on how long to keep someone. Shawn says they don't have a place for him right now in NXT but says there's a huge opportunity for him in AAA. Drake is excited to go to AAA. Shawn says he will be in front of big crowds and will come into his own. He says he will go down there and find incredible success.
Bubba says he's been a big fan of Drake since LFG 1. He says great job to Drake and says best of luck. Drake says his time on LFG was amazing. Drake says he has grown as a performer and is excited to build on what he started. He says he loves LFG and says to keep up with him in AAA. He says it's not goodbye but see ya later, alligator.
Thoughts: This show is taped, so we are watching these shows with knowledge of what actually happened already. Drake has yet to appear on AAA as of May 4th, 2026.
Overall thoughts: The show is definitely a bit different than the last few seasons. The competition aspect is gone and every episode is kind of separate from the other. It's a bit weird to watch it though because we already know what happens to most of these wrestlers and we know what we are told on here isn't always what actually happens. What we got wrestling was fine and they are doing a decent job of letting us know who everyone is. There's nothing you need to see on this show, but it was okay enough for what it was. This is definitely more of a documentary than past seasons.
