We are in Barcelona, Spain. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive and hangout. 

Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab come out. Jade says she's 1 of 1. Fab says Jade will beat Rhea on Sunday because she's the most dominant. Mich says the future isn't coming but is now.  

Rhea Ripley comes out. Rhea says Jade keeps forgetting to mention that when it's just them in the ring, she beat Jade. She says she beat her at Wrestlemania and will beat her again on Sunday. She says Jade will be looking at her true champion when Sunday is done.

Jade says Rhea is so weak that she will work with women who don't like her. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss come out. Flair says Jade has been here 5 minutes and says not to confuse her hype for actual accomplishments. Bliss tells Jade to accomplish something before talking about them. Bliss says Jade has the resume of a rookie compared to them. Jade calls Bliss Flair's ragdoll. Bliss says this is Jade's one warning and says she has talked on the mic with people better than her. 

Nick Aldis comes out. He says let's get a ref out and have Jade vs Bliss now.

Jade Cargill vs Alexa Bliss

AB hits forearms. AB gets on her back and is thrown down. AB hits Jade when she gets back into the ring. Jade throws her in the corner and misses a charge. Jade's throat is pulled down over the top rope. AB's top rope crossbody is caught and she is hit with a swinging backbreaker. 

AB boots Jade out of the corner. Jade gorilla press drops AB. Jade misses an elbow drop and is pulled over the top. AB gets caught jumping off the apron and takes a hard powerbomb on the rail.

We go to PiP break and return. Jade back elbows AB. AB is dropped on the apron. AB dropkicks her into the rails. Jade running knees the steps when AB moves. AB basement dropkicks her inside then meteora's her from behind on the ropes. AB rolling sentons her and headhunters her for 2.

Michin trips AB. Flair then Rhea then fight Michin and Fab. AB short ddt's Jade. AB tries twisted bliss but Jade gets her knees up. Jade pump kicks her then hits a jade end for the pin.

Thoughts: Jade won as expected. It was okay but not much else. They hit their spots clean and it made sense. I think this went about as well as it was going to go.

Jade brings a chair in after. AB takes a jade end on the chair. Rhea and Flair then chase Jade away.

Cody Rhodes is interviewed then Sami Zayn interrupts. Cody says he has nothing to say to him. Sami says maybe he should have something to say and should say he's sorry. Sami says he had Cody's back and tried to help him but Cody hit him with a cross rhodes. Cody says that was during a match while Sami watched him get choked out by Gunther. Cody says he walked away. Sami says he wanted to help because he's a good guy and the last good guy. He says he didn't because the right thing was to leave him there so Cody could learn a lesson. Cody says hopefully he can teach him a lesson when he's done with Gunther.

Nick Aldis talks to Danhausen. Nick says it's not his fault Dan's stuff was taken by customs. Nick says he shouldn't do any more experiments and wants him to appear in front of the crowd. Nick tells him to improvise then Dan runs off with an idea.

Nick Aldis talks to The Miz. Miz says Kit isn't here and he's not taking Axiom on in his own country. Miz says he can take on anyone anywhere though and Nick tells him to show him that as he faces Ax next.

Axiom vs The Miz

Miz wristlocks him. Ax headflips out and throws him by the arm. Ax escapes a side headlock and the lights go out for a second. Ax cartwheels then pulls Miz down on a leapfrog. Miz then does a cartwheel. Ax diving armdrags him off the buckles and Miz backs off in the corner.

Ax hits a nice dropkick and hits leg kicks. Ax enzugiri's him out. Miz kicks the middle rope into Ax's crotch. We go to PiP break and return. Ax hits some shots then half-nelson suplexes him for 2. Miz ddt's Ax for 2.

Miz hits chest kicks. Ax dragon screws him. Ax hits chest kicks then buzzsaw kicks him. Ax top rope crossbodies him for 2. Ax misses a dropkick. Ax triangles him and Miz rolls him up for 2. Miz slingshot powerbombs him.

Miz goes up top. The lights go out again (It's Danhausen). Ax top rope spanish flies him then hits a golden ratio kick. Ax pins him.

Thoughts: Ax won as expected. I would have rather seen someone else lose instead of Miz here. What we got was acceptable. It should have been a little better than it was.  

Damian Priest and R-Truth talk. Truth says he's not medically cleared. Truth says he got Priest a tag partner for tonight. Royce Keys comes in and Truth says he'll be Priest's partner vs The MFT's. Priest says if he can't team with him, he will team with nobody. Keys says Priest wants to be a hero. Priest says how does he know he can trust him? Priest says it sounds like a set up with Solo. Truth says he set it up. Truth asks if they are afraid of The MFT's and if they are scared to tag with each other. They say no. Truth then says go do it. 

Sami Zayn talks to Candice LeRae. Sami says she's one of the few people that get him. Sami says he wasn't talking to her, but Johnny Gargano, who is laying on the steps. Matt Cardona comes in and says it looks like he's talking to a wall. Sami asks Matt if Cody sent him here when Matt mentions him. Matt says things aren't going his way just like with Sami. Matt says he's not acting like a little...and Sami gets mad. Sami says he can't let the disrespect stand and challenges Matt for tonight.

Alexa Bliss is getting ice on her head in the back and Flair is helping. Rhea asks how Bliss is doing. Flair says she's in pain and she is p!ssed off. Flair says the next time she see's Jade...and Rhea says she'll handle Jade Sunday. Flair says Jade has a receipt coming.

Damian Priest and Royce Keys vs The MFT's (Talla and Tama Tonga)

Talla boots and punches DP. He headbutts DP. DP chops him. Talla shoulders him over. Talla boots DP in the corner. Tama headbutts DP. DP hits punches on Tama. Keys tags himself in. 

Keys hits forearms on Tama. Tama punches and elbows him. Keys tilt-a-whirl gutbusters him. Keys corner splashes him. Keys powerslams Tama. Keys running shoulders Tama over. The faces double team Talla then toss him over the top together.

We go to PiP break and return. Keys hits Talla in the gut and takes an uppercut. Talla misses a corner charge. Tama stomps Keys' tag attempt. Keys sitout spinebusters Tama. 

DP tags in and hits shots on Tama. DP flapjacks him. DP hits punches on Tama. Tama bends over and is kicked. DP flying back elbows the heels in the corners. DP lifting flatliners Tama. 

DP top rope diving lariats Tama for 2. Keys lariats Talla over the top rope. Solo Sikoa hits DP with a samoan spike. R-Truth comes out. He hit shots on Solo. Solo samoan spikes Truth in the throat. Tama hits Keys off the steps from behind. Talla chokeslams DP for the win.

Thoughts: It was alright. There was a good chance Truth was coming down when he wasn't supposed to and he did. He ended up costing Priest another match here and this should lead to something.

The Miz threatens to sue Nick Aldis in the back. He says his workplace is a hazard and says lights were going out on him out there. He asks how he can wrestle like that. Nick says he agrees with him and will get to the bottom of it. Miz says we know who did it. Miz goes into Danhausen's area and Dan sprays him with a fire extinguisher.

Chelsea Green talks to Tiffany Stratton. Green wants to come out with her and Tiff says no. Green says she came out with her last week but Tiff says it's not that deep. Green says she will see her after then.

Matt Cardona vs Sami Zayn

Sami wristlocks him. Matt wristlocks him back. Sami throws him by the arm. Matt side headlocks him. Sami armdrags him. Sami is thrown out. Matt dropkicks him through the ropes. Sami suplexes him in from the apron for 2 then hits mounted shots. 

Sami chops Matt then Matt hits forearms. Matt corner lariats him the 2nd rope dropkicks him. We go to break and return. Sami chinlocks him. Matt hits lariats and facebusters Sami. Matt broski boots him. Matt double underhook powerbombs him for 2. Matt goes for a leg lariat and takes a sitout powerbomb.

Matt hits a leg lariat for 2. They fight on the buckles. Sami exploders him into the buckles. Sami helluva kicks him for the win.

Thoughts: It was alright. Sami got stiffed on a double underhook powerbomb here. Matt loses yet again, though Sami definitely should have gotten the win. They worked a little better than I thought they would have. 

Nick Aldis talks to Gunther. He tells him to give it civilized when he gets his chance to talk later. Gunther says he will only attack Cody verbally. He says if they go to Spain again, they should go to Madrid.

Trick Williams and Lil Yachty come out. Yachty puts himself over and says we are witnessing the Trick Williams campaign. Trick says he has arrived in Barcelona. Trick says he took out Miz and Melo. He says there hasn't been a star who has proved himself like Trick. Trick says he's declaring for King of the Ring.

Carmelo Hayes comes out. Melo says Trick is king of the mic or the entrance but KOTR is grown folk stuff and he's too little. Melo says he will take care of Ricky Saints tonight for costing him the match vs Trick then him and Trick will fight for the US Title. 

Trick says Melo is making excuses. Trick makes some height jokes and says Melo should realize he's just better than him. Ricky Saints comes out. 

Saints says no one wants to see this and they want to see Saints. He says he's coming for the US Title. Trick tells Saints to shut up when he says so. He says maybe Saints and Melo can figure out who will face him. Trick says he has no problem proving he's the king. Saints says Trick is the king of the delusion and tells him to get out. Trick drops Saints with a shot. Melo goes to fight Trick and Yachty backs Trick away.

Carmelo Hayes vs Ricky Saints

RS hits shots on him to start. Melo rolls over his back and dropkicks him. RS sits on the 2nd rope and Melo blind springboard legdrops him. RS lariats him and hits mounted shots. RS hits shots on him in the corner and foot chokes him. 

Melo chops RS in the corner. Melo kicks him in the back. Melo hits mounted corner punches. Melo goes on the 2nd rope and is pushed over the top. RS sends Melo into the rails. We go to PiP break and return.

They go on the buckles and fight. RS is pushed down. Melo tries a top rope splash but RS gets his knees up. RS northern lights suplexes him for 2. Melo rolls him up with the tights for 2. Melo 2nd rope diving ddt's him. 

Melo and RS trade forearms. Melo hits a springboard shot on him. Melo la mistica drops him for 2. RS twisting flatliners him for 2. RS is pulled over the top. Melo tope con hilos him. 

Melo diving lariats him off the rails and both get counted out.

Thoughts: The double countout finish was very surprising. True, neither guy needed a loss, but I didn't see that coming. It wasn't bad. Melo did his flying as usual and RS had simpler offense. Melo took the twising flatliner right on his face.

RS attacks Melo after. Melo superkicks and first 48's him. 

We get a video on Oba vs Brock.

Nia and Lash talk to Tiffany Stratton in the back. Lash and Tiff say they each have big heads. Lash says when they get done with Chelsea, it's only a matter of time until the US Title gets a new home.

We get a Blake Monroe video. She says there's so many fascinating women in the SD locker room like Rhea. She says she's as captivating as can be and says she knows she's hiding from her own fear. She says Rhea can run from her fears but not her. Blake says The Glamour is coming to SD.

Chelsea Green vs Nia Jax

Nia grabs her by the hair and throws her. Nia corner splashes her and throws her by the head. She mocks her salute. Green slaps her and throws her out. Green topes her. We go to break and return.

Nia pop-up headbutts Green. Green jawbreakers her and forearms her in the knee. Nia sitout powerbombs her for 2. Nia misses a legdrop. Nia blocks a sliding lariat. Green does a bad zig zag for 2. 

Nia is sent shoulder first into the post. Green top rope dropkicks her. Green leg lariats her for 2. Green dropkicks Lash through the ropes then Nia samoan drops Green. Tiffany Stratton comes out and Nia gets distracted. Tiff hits Nia with her title. Green then pins Nia.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout and wasn't that good. Green's offense didn't look good against Lash and we had a dirty finish here.

Green tries to hug Tiff after but Tiff walks away.

Brie Bella and Paige are interviewed. Brie says the target is getting bigger but they have been defending the titles successfully. Fatal Influence comes in. Jacy says she's declaring herself for QOTR. Fallon tells Brie's team to hold onto the titles tight as they won't have them soon. Jacy says everyone will be under their influence soon.

Cody Rhodes comes out. Gunther comes out before he can say much. Gunther says he's here to tell Cody what he thinks of him. He says SD seems to have to be about Cody and if it's not, Cody finds a way to make it about himself. He says Cody is a product of the culture he grew up in where nepotism and egotism gets you to the top. He says Cody is a symbol of the crumbling American dream. 

Gunther says he earned his position and everything was one phone call away for Cody. He says it makes Cody an entitled brat. Gun says all that matters to him is to be the best wrestler and protect wrestling from people like him. He says Cody only cares about himself and he's his own biggest fan. He says Cody is a mark for himself, not a champ. 

Cody says Gunther is a liar. Cody says he knows Gunther wants the title or he'd be talking to a 330lb version of himself in front of 300 people at an indy show. He says Paul Heyman told him about the things that would happen if he got the title. He says the things he didn't say intimidated him. Cody says the title is addictive and Gunther is as sick as he is. Cody says Gunther will get this close to all the attention he seeks and he knows it. He says he will find out the worst thing a guy like him can find out - he's just not that good. Cody says he's easy to find and hard to beat.

Gun grabs Cody as Cody goes to leave. Gun asks if Cody thinks he's a liar. Gun says he promised Goldberg and AJ he'd choke them out and he did. He says he promised Cody he'd tap him out and he did. He says he will choke Cody out and drop him like a wet towel and take the title with him.

Thoughts: It was a shorter segment and not too much of note. They didn't even fight here which was surprising. 

Overall thoughts: It was very weak starpower wise as none of the big stars were in action here. All the recent retirements and firings have really hit the SD roster hard. Things are not looking that bright on this show going forward and the show going back to 2 hours soon may honestly help the show at this point. There was nothing that great on the show. The show made sense and there were a couple of okay matches but that's really about it. I don't even think there was a clear match of the night here. I thought this was average and would give this a 5 out of 10 overall.
