We are in Orlando, FL. Joe Dombrowski and Tom Lawler are on commentary.

We see clips of Killer Kross becoming MLW champ.

Priscilla Kelly vs Shotzi

Shotzi rolls her up and is cradled. PK side headlocks her. Shotzi flying headscissors her then 619's her. PK rolls through a top rope crossbody. PK springboard dropkicks her then basement dropkicks her. PK cannonballs her off the apron. Shotzi topes her outside.

Shotzi back elbows her on the apron and is STO'd there. PK hits Kawada kicks then bronco busters her. PK hits forearms. Shotzi crucifixes her for 2 then PK pumping knees her for 2. Shotzi boots her out of the corner then hits forearms. PK forearms her down.

Shotzi wristclutch suplexes her. Shotzi armdrags her and lariats her. Shotzi spinning forearms her. PK hits a half-nelson leg-clutch suplex. Shotzi brazilian kicks her and backdrops her. Shotzi sentons her on the 2nd rope for 2. PK sweeps her then double stomps her back. PK half-nelson suplexes her for 2.

Shotzi high kicks her. PK hangs over the 2nd rope and Shotzi top rope sentons her back. Shotzi top rope sentons PK and pins her.

Thoughts: It was fine and went well. There were no botches. Shotzi did a bunch of sentons here. They hit some creative suplexes here.

Shotzi is interviewed. She says she didn't come here to play around, she came on a mission to prove herself. She says she wants a shot at the MLW Women's Featherweight Title. She says Shoko Nakajima's time is up.

We see clips from the MLW press conference. Killer Kross is brought out for it. He shows off an open contract and says anyone can show up and face him. He says there's not a single person he's afraid of. He says he will suplex that person their f*cking head and leave them where they found them. 

We then see the Don Gato Tequila sponsors talk. Los Aztecas drink some of the tequila and Don Gato beats them up.

Rich Bocchini talks to Alexander Hammerstone in the back. Hammer says he heard about the open contract and wants to go sign it. Rich says he was then told it was signed already. Hammer gets upset and knocks some stuff over as he asks Rich who signed it.

Scarlett Bordeaux vs Aleah James

They lock up and roll on the ropes. SB waistlocks her. AJ trips her and basement dropkicks her. AJ monkey flips her then boots her out of the corner. SB hits a wrist-clutch suplex for 2. SB corner hip attacks her and stinkfaces her. 

SB ddt's her for 2. AJ hits forearms then SB powerbombs her. SB b-drivers her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a shorter match and was just acceptable. They didn't botch anything at least. AJ took a stiff powerbomb here. 

They hug after and SB holds AJ's arm up.

Zamaya will be on the show next week.

The Good Brothers arrive and run into Dijak and Bishop Dyer. They fight and security tries to break them up. Dyer's head is banged off a door and Doc chokeslams Dijak through a table.

Trevor Lee vs Austin Aries

They lock up and go into the corner. AA hammerlock takedowns him and spins on his back. Lee waistlock takedowns him and rides his back. AA side headlocks him then ear claps him. AA side headlock takeovers him and basement dropkicks him. AA then taunts him on the ropes. 

AA side headlocks him. Lee avoids an up and over and atomic drops him. Lee side headlock takeovers him and handstands out of AA's headscissors. Lee then kicks him and taunts him on the ropes. They shove each other. Lee chest kicks him down.

Lee hits mounted corner punches. We cut ahead (I think it was supposed to be a break). AA sweeps him on the apron. AA goes for a low tope and Lee is supposed to hit him but doesn't. Lee is swept up top. 

AA neckbreakers Lee over the 2nd rope. AA stomps and knee chokes him. AA hits mounted corner punches. AA knees him in the gut. AA elbow drops him and chinlocks him. AA pulls him down by the hair.

AA snapmares him, rakes his eyes with his feet and 2nd rope euros the back of his neck for 2. AA chest kicks him and ear claps him. AA forearms him. AA gets a 2 count on him. AA hits him in the gut in the corner then side slams him for 2.

AA chinlocks him. Lee hits elbows to the gut. Lee running lariats him. AA boots him out of the corner and takes a release german suplex. Lee PK's him from the apron. Lee top rope crossbodies him for 2. Lee hits forearms. 

AA hits snake eyes on him then shining wizard's him for 2. AA bridges and hooks his head and arm. Lee ropebreaks. They trade forearms. Lee high kicks him then AA spinning forearms him. AA runs at him and Lee turns it into a standing spanish fly for 2. 

AA's head is banged off the buckles. AA death valley drivers him on the apron. AA flying corner dropkicks him. AA brainbusters him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a workrate based match. It got a lot of time, it was athletic, Aries did an okay job as a heel and it was a good match overall. It could have been a little shorter though. 

Aries insults the crowd after. He says jealousy isn't a good look for them. He says Trevor Lee is a star. He says the match proved that he is back and still has it. He says he was doing commentary a year ago and has proved he is as good as he has ever been. Aries says Mistico's win over him was a fluke. He says Blue Panther is on notice. He says he wants his Middleweight Title and wants to end his career. He tells him to sign the contract to face him.  

We find out Matt Riddle has signed the open contract.

The first show ends here and the second show begins. 

Donovan Dijak and Bishop Dyer come out to join the commentary team. There's only one headset for them though and Dijak complains about it. 

Gallus (Mark and Joe Coffey) vs The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson)

Mark backs up Karl in the corner. Joe gets in and trades chops with Karl. Karl back elbows him then bangs his head off the buckles. Doc boots Joe in the gut then hits punches to the gut. Karl drops him with a punch. Doc lariats Joe down then elbow drops him for 1. Karl stomps on Joe in the corner.

Mark boots Karl in the head. Joe pop-up euros Karl. Joe backbreakers Karl then vader bomb elbow drops him for 2. Mark gets a 2 count on Karl. Karl hits chops and euros on Mark. Mark pounds on Karl in the corner. 

Joe hits shots on Karl. Karl back body drops Joe out. Doc tags in. Doc facekicks and uppercuts Mark. Mark forearms Doc. Joe double jump twisting crosbodies Doc for 2. Joe takes a spinebuster then is hit with a magic killer. Karl pins Joe.

Thoughts: It was a shorter match. There wasn't a ton but various punches and chops. It was acceptable but not super exciting. It seemed like they were building for a lot longer of a match than what we got.

Dijak and Dyer hold their titles up at The Good Brothers after. Dyer and Dijak then jump them from behind and they all fight. Security tries to separate them.

We see the guys with Don Gato hanging out at a nice house. They talk about Don Gato tequila. They talk about Don Gato winning money gambling then buying a field in Mexico to make tequila. Don Gato then appears and they wave at him.

We get a quick Zamaya video.

Diego Hill vs Adam Brooks

Hill kips down out of a shot then flips out of a german. Hill flips over him then Adam backs him up in the corner. Hill shoves him and is tripped. Hill upwards headscissors him from the mt. Hill backrolls him, kicks him in the leg and basement dropkicks him.

AB upkicks Hill. Hill 2nd rope moonsaults and AB swats him down. AB knees him into the head and chops him. Hill is laid on the top rope and AB top rope diving knee's him in the back of the head. AB boots him from the apron.

AB chinlocks Hill. Hill hits shots and AB spin kicks him. Hill rolls him up for 2. AB back elbows him then basement dropkicks him for 2. Hill is thrown hard into the buckles and ends up on the apron. 

AB fireman's carry gutbusters him for 2. AB hits mounted forearms. AB boots him in the corner. Hill spin kicks him off the bottom rope as AB runs at him. Hill hits punches. AB dropkicks him in the knee and chops him. 

Hill superkicks him in the gut then AB pump kicks him. AB does a weird rebound off the ropes and catches Hill with something involving his feet. Hill tope con hilos him. Hill blind springboards inside and is caught with a backcracker. AB topes him outside.

AB corner knees him and pump kicks him. AB sitout powerbombs him for 2. AB top rope swantons but Hill gets his knees up. Hill os cutters him for 2. Hill is caught up top and is enzugiri'd. AB step up enzugiri's him. Hill standing spanish flies him. Hill double jump cancun tornado's him and pins him.

Thoughts: Brooks is a bit of a boring wrestler and he really needs someone exciting to get the best out of him. The first half wasn't that good. It got a little better as it went on but I thought it went a bit too long and had a slower pace. It was acceptable overall but not much more. Hill had one of his better nights without a lot of botches.

Shoko Nakajima does a taped video. She tells Shotzi to bring her challenge on and says she will face her next week.

We see a Contra Unit video and are told they have hacked the feed again.

Zamaya vs Carolina Cruz

This is Zamaya's MLW debut. I've seen her on NWA Powerrr and she looks a lot like Beastie The Road Warrior from GLOW or NXT's Zaria.

Zam spears her to start. Zam samoan drops her. CC hits forearms and Zam double throat thrusts her. Zam chokes CC on the bottom rope. Zam clubs her on the apron. 

They go out and CC hits shots on her outside. Zam knees her in the gut. CC is sent into the rails. Zam slams her on the exposed floor. Zam then slams her on the floor mats. CC beats the countout count in. Zam sitout double arm chokeslams her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was all squash as it should have been but Cruz showed some heart before going down. It worked and did what it was supposed to. 

Matt Riddle does a promo. Matt says he finally gets an MLW Title shot. He says he beat Hammer at signing the open contract first. He says all Hammerstone can do is cry like a baby. He says Killer Kross beat him once but won't do it again. Matt says he's taking back his MLW Title and there's nothing Kross can do about it.

Hammerstone vs Bishop Dyer

They lock up. Dyer side headlocks him. They collide with shoulders. Dyer boots him in the gut then Hammer pump kicks him. Hammer hits corner lariats on Dyer.

Dyer knee's him out of the corner and lariats him. Hammer running lariats him. Dyer hits punches on Hammer. Dyer is caught off the 2nd rope and takes an overhead belly to belly suplex. Hammer lariats him over the top.

Dyer sends Hammer into the rails. Dyer is then sent into the rails. Hammer then gets sent into the post. We go to break and return. Hammer is backdropped on the apron. Dyer stomps him and sends him into the buckles. Hammer hits some shots. Dyer death valley drivers him for 2.

Hammer forearms him then claymore kicks him for 2. Dyer back body drops him. Hammer boots him out of the corner. Hammer enzugiri's him. Dyer spinning backdrops him. 

They fight on the apron. Hammer top rope dropkicks Dyer. Dijak comes out and The Good Brothers jump Dijak from behind. Hammer splashes him from behind then powerbombs him. Hammer pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright but it wasn't great or anything. Hammer's powerbomb at the end was nice and we got some follow up on the issues with Dyer/Dijak vs The Good Brothers. I was surprised to see Dyer get belly to belly suplexed as that doesn't happen a lot.

Next week's show is has Kross/Riddle for the MLW Title and Shoko vs Shotzi for the Women's Featherweight Title.

Overall thoughts: This show was definitely geared more towards indy fans and not casual or newer audiences. If you were looking for intro video's and introductions towards the roster, we didn't get a lot outside of the ordinary. It was a very wrestling heavy show with limited interviews and it was very different from the old MLW format, which I really liked. They basically just aired one of their usual live events here and threw some Fusion graphics in.

The show was okay as a whole. The wrestling was mostly fine and Aries/Lee was the clear MOTN. It was unoffensive and I think anyone could watch this and be okay with it. But I don't really think it was the amazing re-debut that it could have been. And that was mostly on the promotional end. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 as it was okay but nothing must see.
