Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/iwa-puerto-rico-impacto-total-442026.html
Raul Magnum and El Wizard are on commentary.
We see clips of Ricky Banderas' video last week after El Dragon Nihan's match.
Edrax Torres vs Gladiador Boricua
Raul Magnum says GB is repping the country's colors and Wizard says he's not from here.
ET backs him up in the corner twice. BG waistlocks him and side headlock takeovers him. ET shoulders him over. BG hiptosses and armdrags him. BG dropkicks him out. BG hits him from behind outside. ET hits some shots on him and ET gets sent into the post. ET lariats him.
ET slams him then legdrops him for 2. ET chokes him over the 2nd rope. ET boots him in the head and BG starts to hulk up. BG hits punches then ET clubs him down. ET slaps him around. BG backcrackers him. BG hits forearms then running elbows him a few times.
BG knees him in the face for 2. BG punches him down then legdrops him for 2. ET alabama slams him then dropkicks him for 2. BG rolls him up for 2 twice. ET pushes BG into the ref then kicks him in the crotch. ET piledrivers him and pins him.
Thoughts: I think this is Boricua's debut but I'm not sure. He's definitely an established wrestler in a mask and I wouldn't be shocked if it's Pupe Jackson. He does very basic and simple 80's face offense and he's not very athletic or anything, but he can have a basic match just fine. Edrax didn't really excite a lot here. It was average and this isn't a good way to show off a newer character.
El Wizard interviews Edrax Torres and Mascara Pura, who is back in his normal gear (and appears to be the original Mascara Pura). Wizard says it pleases him that there will be a tag title rematch. Edrax agrees. He says Nolan and Ice stole the tag title from them. Edrax says this is just the beginning and says to get ready as they are coming back for the titles.
IWA World Title - Special Ref is Savio Vega - "El Anarquista" Manu (c) vs Niche
Manu hits Niche from behind while Vega checks him for weapons. Manu clubs on Niche and punches him down. Manu hits forearms. Niche flips off the 2nd rope then dropkicks him. Niche armdrags and hiptosses him. Niche's head is banged off the apron. Niche chops him outside and Manu facekicks him hard. Niche is sent into the post.
Niche and Manu trade shots. Vega stops Niche from throwing a punch and Manu germans Niche hard. Vega then tries to fast count on the pin. Manu boots Niche then suplexes him for 2. Niche hits punches. Manu facekicks him down.
Niche is sent hard into the buckles and goes down. Manu splashes Niche's back for 1. Manu punches Niche. They trade shots and Niche gets the edge. Manu uranage's him. Manu chinlocks him. Niche hits elbows to the gut and stunners him. Manu runs the ropes, ducks a Vega clothesline then lariats Manu hard.
Niche hits punches on Manu. Niche back body drops him then springboard spinning heel kicks him. Vega slow counts to 2. Niche shoves Vega and they argue. Manu blue thunders Niche for a fast count 2.
Niche running corner chops Manu. Manu flying corner forearms him twice. Manu running forearms him down. Manu backdrops him for 2. Manu misses a flying corner forearm. Niche buckshot lariats him hard. Niche bottom, middle and top rope moonsaults Manu. Vega refuses to count. Another ref comes out and starts counting then Vega kicks the other ref.
Vega then slaps the other ref and boots him out of the ring. Manu's head is banged off the buckles. Niche superplexes him then holds on for another suplex. Vega refuses to count again. Another ref comes down and Vega kicks him. Vega then boots that ref out.
Niche shoves Vega and argues with him. Niche suplex lift cutters Manu. Another ref comes down and argues with Vega. Vega drops that ref with a shot. Vega boots that ref out. Niche points at Vega. Vega facekicks Niche. Manu pop-up powerbombs Niche and pins him.
Thoughts: It was a total screwjob and it was designed to be complete BS. We just saw a similar Vega as ref match on 3/14, so this wasn't even fresh. I kept waiting for Tonos to come down and do something but it didn't happen. The wrestlers made the best of the situation and would have had a good match without all the nonsense but we didn't get that here. I know all of this will go somewhere, but it wasn't fun to watch.
We see clips of Super Atomo beating Pedro Portillo for the title.
El Wizard Analiza
Pedro Portillo III is interviewed. He says to look at the red bruises on his chest. He's upset after losing his title. He says a blind person can't see yet cost him the title. He mocks Super Atomo being champ and rips Luis Perez for being blind. He says he wanted to be a wrestler but couldn't because he's blind. He says he's not making fun of him, but is just talking about reality. He says Perez made him lose his title. Pedro says he's a better athlete than him and says Perez can't see him but can feel him. He says he doesn't know what Perez will do now. He says the big difference between them apart from him being blind is that he's resentful. He says when he gets angry with someone, they have to live under rocks. He says Perez won't see him but he's going to feel him.
Wizard says Perez is going to have to face Pedro.
Thoughts: It was a good and brutal promo from Pedro. Poor Luis is going to pay for what he did and I'm very interested to see how this plays out. IWA won't have the guts to do some kind of blindfold judo jacket match, will they?
El Dragon Nihan says he wants El Mesias to come. He says not to hide behind wisdom and see if he can kill this dragon.
Overall thoughts: We had 2 matches here and a good promo from Pedro Portillo III. Edrax/Boricua was very simple and not that good. Manu/Niche would have been good without all the shenanigans, but it was filled with shenanigans as Savio Vega refused to count any Niche pins. It made sense, but what makes sense isn't always good. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 as it was a slower episode and not one of my favorites. It was a little below average.
