DF goes up top and McCord trips DF. Alex gets a 2 count on DF and bites him. We go to break.
TV-MA talk. Ms. Starr says they need to do what's best for TV-MA and Nieves. Starr says they need to do whatever it takes. Nieves says it means it's done, but doesn't specify what that is.
The Federations of Champions do a promo. Aron says he's partnered with Comet to get his face on TV each week. He does a poem and yells at The Slimeballz for laughing.
Thom Latimer and El Dragon Nihan talk. Thom says he will smash The Titans of Calamity between the eyes next week then take his giant if it doesn't work. Nihan says it's battle of the kaiju's next week.

Thoughts: There were a lot of shenanigans here and it brought down the match. We didn't quite get the athletic bout we should have because of all that. Either guy really could have won this one.
It's Me...The Carson Drake Experience
The Slimeballz are this week's guest. They are eating food, drinking water and making a mess as usual. Sage says they are wrestling The Good Brothers next week. Sage asks if they have a sister. Silas says there are stars in the southern sky and The Six ain't ever gonna die.
Crockett Cup 2026 Quarterfinal Match - The Southern Six (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor) vs The Wrestling Machines (SLADE and Mike Mondo)
Silas Mason is on commentary for this. Mike puts some holds on Alex and misses an elbow drop. Alex shoulderblocks him and gets nowhere. Mike lariats him. Mike hits a corner spear. Alex ear claps Slade. Alex goes up and over then hits armdrags. Alex dropicks him.
Slade takes a double slingshot suplex for 2. Kerry 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Slade. Slade jawbreakers him. Slade misses a corner splash. Kerry boots and punches him. Alex goes up top and Aron Stevens pushes Alex down.

Kerry and Alex push each other. Slade jumping knees Alex and sends him into Kerry. Slade ankle locks Alex. Alex tap out and Kerry just seemingly watches him tap out. Silas asks, "What was that?".
Thoughts: It was an okay bout here. We haven't gotten to see The Six work face maybe ever and they were fun here. They did Ricky Morton's armdrags and dropkicks. The bout went fine. The ending was interesting and they definitely have been pushing that there's been some issues with The Six.
Kerry and Alex push each other after and Silas says this is not how The Six works.
The Slimeballz do a promo for the NWA on Comet.
Natalia Markova does a promo. She says she's excited to be on commentary for the Burke Invitational Gauntlet Match. She says it's exciting that the winner of it can face her for the title at any time. She says she will be watching closely.

Joe says they will take the trophy back to East Tennessee and take it out of Texas. Joe says they always do it by the book.
Crockett Cup 2026 Quarterfinal Match - The Country Gentlemen (AJ and KC Cazana) vs The Colon's (Primo and Epico)
Eddie/Primo was actually on TV earlier today on WWC.
Primo and AJ start us off. AJ side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Epico dropkicks AJ and gets him tied up in the ropes. The Colon's hit punches on AJ and KC tries to chase them off. KC then unties AJ. Primo topes AJ outside. We go to break.
Bryan Idol says Silas Mason's time is almost up. He says he almost beat him last time before Carnage interrupted. He says he will take the title from him as someone has to restore the legacy and tradition of the NWA. Idol says he's that man and says Silas will wonder who will save him now when they fight.
We get more NWA on Comet hype promos.
We return from break. Epico dropkicks AJ into the ropes and Joe Cazana trips Epico. AJ lariats Epico then chokes him. AJ slams Epico. KC does his white lightning legdrop on Epico. AJ 2nd rope elbow drops Epico for 2.
Epico hits shots to AJ's gut. Epico backslides him for 2. AJ lariats Epico. AJ flapjacks KC onto Epico for 2. KC chinlocks Epico. Epico jawbreakers him. KC delay suplexes Epico. They trade shots. KC leapfrogs Epico and goes into AJ. Primo tags in. Primo 2nd rope diving lariats KC then flying elbows and dropicks him. Primo figure fours KC and AJ breaks it up.
Epico is thrown out. Primo's throat is pulled over the top rope. Primo take a russian legweep + polish hammer shot and is pinned.
Thoughts: This is the furthest The Canzana's have made it in The Crockett Cup. The match was fine. I'd almost say The Cazana's winning was an upset. Epico mostly got worked on during this before his team lost.
Jack and Eddie say the NWA is now on Comet.
Trevor Murdoch vs Pretty Boy Smooth
PB has Pastor C-Lo with him.
Trev misses a corner charge and takes shots in the corner. PB boots him out of the corner. PB hits a hard STO. Trevor hits shots in the corner then russian legsweeps him. Trev hits crossface shots.
Trev eye rakes him from the apron. Trev top rope diving bulldogs him for 2. Galli says it's the first time anyone has kicked out of it. PB gets up and hits a big punch on Trev. PB standing blue thunders him and pins him.
Thoughts: It was a short one and was definitely surprising. PB pretty much ran over Trev. This was a random bout. Galli really got hyped over PB pinning Trev.
Trevor Murdoch is interviewed in the ring after. Kyle asks what's going through his mind. Trev says he's not sure if he can do this anymore. He says he's been wrestling for 27 years and has seen guys only come for a payday. He says he told himself that if he gets to that point, he wouldn't be that guy. He says he doesn't want to embarrass himself or his family or Harley Race. He says he's announcing his retirement from wrestling. He thanks the fans. He says he was able to put his kids through college due to the fans. He also thanks Billy Corgan. He says Billy believed in him and gave him an opportunity when wrestling didn't want him. He says Billy extended his career for 7 years and thanks him.
Trev leaves and the crowd claps for him.
Thoughts: Part of the problem of the NWA taping all these shows at once is that it can be months between when we hear about something and actually see it. Even if you don't actively seek out results, someone will mention them. I knew Trev had announced his retirement already.
The NWA was one of the only promotions to really give Trev his due. TNA gave him an awful gimmick and he just didn't get to do a lot of note in WWE. The NWA made him champ at one point and he was always a regular. I had no problem with him and it's a shame we won't see him around anymore.
Overall thoughts: This felt like more of a normal episode of Powerrr than yesterday's show did, for both good and bad reasons. The opener wasn't as good as it should have been due to interference. The Six/The Wrestling Machines was okay and they revived the internal issues The Six have sometimes had. The Colon's/Cazana's was also find but not too special. Trevor Murdoch shockingly and randomly got squashed by PB Smooth then announced his retirement after. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10. There was nothing you really needed to see here. We had some randomness as usual and none of the matches were that great. This was average.
