Abel Durant is our host.
Chicano and a friend leave the gym and they talk. Chicano says he has been invited to Furia Extrema. He says of course he's going to be there.
Abel talks about Chicano appearing at El Cafe del Milenio at Furia Extrema. He says Axel is not here and he wishes him a quick recovery.
Los Matadores Celestiales (Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe) (c) vs Los Inmortales (Orly Jr. & Tapia)
We join this in progress. Orly has the longer hair, Tapia is bald.
Tapia hits ocrner spears on Mike. Orly spits on OB. Tapia side slams Mike. Mike hits punches on Orly then is dropkicked. Orly and Mike are both down. OB and Tapia tag in. OB hits punches on Tapia then hits lariats. OB fireman's carry gutbusters him for 2. Mike hits shots on Orly then Mike spinning backdrops him. Tapia olympic slams Mike. OB claymore kicks Tap.
OB throws Orly backwards on a gutwrench. OB chops up Tapia. Tapia has the ref trapped in the corner and low blows OB. Tapia flatliners OB for 2. OB boots Tapia then Tapia takes a neckbreaker + sitout powerbomb combo. El Informante trips the ref on the count. Orlando Toledo comes out. Informante is giving the ref a poor performance review on his clipboard. Toledo tells he ref to leave then Toledo takes over as the ref. OB takes a gori special + jumping flatliner. Toledo fast counts the pin and Tapia pins OB.
Thoughts: Informante started grading the refs last week as he's working on behalf of Eddie Colon, who is in control. They are basically threatening the job of the ref's if they don't do what they say. The finish was pretty lame but the faces showed some energy and were alright here. What we got of this looked good. From what I could see, the titles may have been held up due to this odd finish.
Diego Luna does an promo. He says he wants the fans to see him and JC Jexx team together. He says to show that 2 nations can unite. He says he wants to start with Sole. He says Tony was cool in the US but is a jerk in Puerto Rico. He says the taller the trees, the harder they fall.
Tony Leyenda and Amaddeo Sole do a promo. Tony says God wants him to achieve more and more in WWC. Sole says him and Tony are great. He says when you have two superstars like them in the same ring, you can only hope for a new dawn.
WWC TV Title - Amaddeo Sole (c) vs Wilfredo Rivera
We join this in progress. Wil hits forearms and punches. Sole's head is banged off the buckles. Wil forearms him from the apron. Wil misses a kick and takes a high kick to the head. Sole pumping knees him from behind. Sole blue thunders him.
Wil michinoku drivers him. Wil misses a top rope splash. Will blocks a GTS and michinoku drivers him. Wil hits a top rope splash and pins him.
Thoughts: We didn't see all that much of it. Wil has a higher workrate that most of the other guys here and his matches have a lot more action. What we got wasn't bad.
Los Inmortales do a promo. Tapia says they have a golden opportunity at Furia Extrema due to Orlando Toledo. Orly says corruption won't help their opponents and says we will have new tag champs at Furia Extrema. The say that's absolute.
Mike Nice and Oscar Benabe do a promo. Mike says things will get spicy at Furia Extrema. Mike says Orlando Toledo is playing with fire against them. Oscar says they always show what they are made of and says they have Los Inmortales in their sights.
El Cafe del Milenio
Ray Gonzalez and El Paparazzi talk in the ring. Ray says Papa wanted him to invite Intelecto Cinco Estrellas. Papa says CInco didn't answer the email. Ray says maybe he won't come. Intelecto Cinco Estrellas and Orlando Toledo come out. Papa asks Cinco how it feels that his first tile challenger is Zcion RT1. Cinco says it was inevitable. He says Ray and Papa are getting old and making fools of themselves. He says they have senile mental problems. He says he retired Zcion RT1. Papa says Cinco seems nervous. Ray says Papa is saying that Cinco has lost his balls and Toledo has too.
Cinco says one of his goals is to retire Ray and he won't rest until he does. Ray tells him that he should remember that Zcion is his first challenge. Ray says the only way Cinco can get his attention is if he puts his mask on the line. Cinco says he's worrying too much about him instead of his opponents tonight.
El Paparazzi and Ray Gonzalez vs Lightning and Joe Bravo
We join this in progress. Joe hits chops on Papa and bangs his face off his knee. Joe slaps and single leg dropkicks Papa for 2. Joe chinlocks him then clubs his back. Light tags in and hits punches on Papa. Light chinlocks him.
We go to break and John Hawking does a promo. He says he will defend his title vs Bravo and Xavant. He says he has known Bravo for a long time and says this will be hi first bout vs Xavant. He says Xavant will find out who the great John Hawking is..
Joe Bravo does a promo. He says no one represented the title better than when he had it. He says he will make the belt worthwhile. He says he says intelligence far superior than them, strength and experience. Joe says he's prepared all year round to fight and will do his best, fair or foul.
Xavant does a promo. He says the champ has arrived. He thanks the staff at a school for having him. He says there will be an important match for him at Furia Extrema when he faces Bravo and Hawking. He asys he doesn't have personal problems with them but he could if they keep mentioning his name. He says he goes into Captain mode and national hero mode at the 53rd Anniversary. He says he will fight with all of his heart and persevere until he triumphs because that's what heroes do.
We return from break. Light hits punches on Papa. Light misses a corner charge and Papa ddt's him. Ray and Joe tag in. Ray hits punches and hits him in the gut. Ray bangs Light's and Joe's heads together. Light's head is banged off the buckles. Joe and Light are sent into each other and Lights goes out. Papa cradles Joe but the ref isn't looking. Orlando Toledo comes in, puts Joe on top top and tries to count 3. Pelayo (the ref), stops him and dropkicks him. Ray and Light trade shots outside. Joe grabs the ref Pelayo then Papa rolls up Joe and Pelayo fast counts to give Papa the pin.
Thoughts: We didn't see all that much of this and it was mostly just the basics. I'm not sure what made Pelayo cheat for the faces here.
Abel talks about La Amenaza Bryan and we see clips of his situation with Eddie Colon and Victor Jovica. We then see Bryan hit an AA on Eddie and stare down with Cinco Estrellas.
Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says Bryan's a typical guy who talks and makes noise. Cinco says he's not like that. He says he smiles when problems arise. He says Bryan boasts about his abilities and talks about the past. Estrellas says it means he's seeking approval. Estrellas says Bryan's return will turn into a farewell. He says he will see him at Furia Extrema.
La Amenaza Bryan does a promo. He says time is running out for Estrellas. He says his abuse is over and says someone equal or greater to him has arrived. He says he will prove to him and the fans that he's #1 today, yesterday and forever. He says he will finish him off.
Abel says Jack Swagger/Jake Hager is headed into WWC.
Eddie and Carlito Colon do a promo. Eddie says Carlito will be at the Anniversary show. He says they will team up vs Paparazzi and Ray Gonzalez. Eddie calls Ray the most miserable blowhard in wrestling. Carlito is surprised about Paparazzi being back. Eddie tells Ray to prepare.
El Paparazzi and Ray Gonzalez do a promo. Ray says Chicano will be at Furia Extrema. Ray says they will face one of the highest paid tag teams in the world in The Colon's. He says they are one of the best tag teams and former WWE champs. Papa says the gas tank is full for that bout. Ray says when he and Papa's tanks are full, it means the fans will enjoy a good fight. Ray says they will checkmate The Colon's.
Abel closes the show. He says Jack Hager is confirmed for the 53rd Anniversary and says he has the most powerful slap in the world (He does Powerslap).
Overall thoughts: As always, we got the last portion of matches, lots of promos and lots of shilling for the next show. They do a good job generally of making you want to see the matches. Chicano is back and WWC has a nice selection of names available for the upcoming 53rd Anniversary show. The matches weren't bad here. I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 overall and it was a little better than the usual WWC show.
