We are in Sacramento, CA. Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt are on commentary.

#1 Contender's Battle Royal

Mustafa Sead of ECW fame is in this. Saed nails Bear Bronson with a weapon. Saed hits Kaz with a chain. He then trades shots with Agent Zero as everyone watches. Zero headbutts him in the chest and throws him out in weak fashion. Everyone then fights.

Zero and Dutch trade shots. Dutch black hole slams Zero. Everyone then gangs up on those two and throws Dutch and Zero out. BDE is eliminated then Home Town Man throws out Mr. Elegance. Home's head is banged off the mat by Brian Myers. Brian tries to throw him out but gets back body dropped out. The System double team Home. Elijah knocks Vincent off the apron. Jason Hotch walks on opponents backs to get back in but then is eliminated.

Kaz throws out Home Town Man. Elijah throws Kaz out. Kaz grabs Elijah by the hair. Elijah throws out Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson at the same time. Eric Young tries to throw Elijah out. Elijah holds on and they fight on the apron. Eric low blows Elijah and eliminates him. Eric Young wins.

Thoughts: It was very rushed and not good. There were a lot of ugly looking eliminations here and they happened so fast that it was tough to keep track of what was going on. Eric Young getting a title shot is not very interesting.

Gia Miller interviews Leon Slater. She brings up him becoming the longest reigning X-champ if he wins tonight. Leon says he's as ready as ever and gets another chance to make history. He says he knows he has to win the big one, but if he hasn't bee dong that, he doesn't know what he's been doing. He says he goes from being the youngest champ to the greatest tonight.

The Hardy's come in. Matt says they became legendary through TLC. Matt tells him to become legendary tonight. Jeff tells him to do what he does as they get him.

The System are interviewed. Ali says his crew continued to fail him and he will fix it like he always does. He says he rubbed a magical lamp today and was told he had 3 wishes. He says he wished for the best TNA has to offer. He says his open challenge continues next week and he wants to go back to his winning ways. Gia then tells Jason Hotch he did a good job.

Eric Young talks. He says Sosa, Hendry and EC3 are gone. He says Mike Santana is gone next and we are looking at the next world champ.

Lei Ying Lee comes out to talk. She says last week was the best night of her life. She says she fought her whole life for this moment. She says she's the 2 time Knockouts world champ now. She says she's proud to bring the title back home to TNA. 

She thanks everyone and says she couldn't have done it without the fans. 

Xia Brookside interrupts. She says Lee can celebrate all she wants. She says she has her eyes on the title and says it will come to her sooner or later. Lee says she's sick of her and goes off in Chinese. Xia tells her to learn how to talk to her dumb@ss fans if she wants to be Knockouts champ. Lee says she will beat her right here and right now. Xia teases heading in but falls back. Xia says Lee is dumber than she thought. She says she has beaten her mentally and emotionally and will do it physically soon. She then calls her a b!tch in Chinese.

The System do a promo. Eddie Edwards says they were robbed in the battle royal but he will get another title shot. He says nobody knows if Moose will ever come back. Brian says Moose is weak and they broke him. Ced says tonight is about the X-Title. He says Leon won't make history as new champ and says there will be no celebration. He says he will find out that you can't beat The System. 

Gia interviews UFC fighter Keith Jardine about a new film he's in. Keith says it's violent and unpredictable. George Iceman interrupts with Mr. Elegance, M and Heather. George says if he wants to understand masculinity, he will show him a real man in Mr. Elegance. He says Keith is jealous of Mr. Elegance. Keith says it makes him want to puke. Keith tells them to get the gang of hoes and get them out of here. Security then breaks it up. 

Thoughts: That clearly had no purpose but to shill a movie. That was a waste of time. 

Sactown Street Fight - KC Navarro vs AJ Francis

A baseball announcer named Chris Caray is on commentary for this.

KC ducks a shot outside and sends AJ into the apron edge. AJ hits KC from behind. AJ goes for a powerbomb and KC escapes. KC does his 305 kick. KC is caught on a tope and he ddt's AJ on the floor. KC sets up a table outside. AJ sends KC into the steps.

KC hits him in the gut with a chair then hits him in the back with it. AJ is pushed into the steps. We go to break and return. KC is thrown into the post head first. AJ grabs Chris Caray's baseball bat that he brought with him. AJ misses bat shots on KC. KC pushes AJ into the post. KC asks for the helmet Chris brought. KC hits AJ in the gut and back with the bat.

KC hits AJ off the 2nd rope with the bat. KC pretends to hit a ball, he runs around the corners and baseball slides a trash can into AJ's crotch. The ref says, "safe". KC fameassers AJ for 2.

AJ has a trash can put on his head. KC hits the can with the bat. KC throws chairs into the ring. KC sets up a 3x3 row of chairs. AJ is laid on the chairs. AJ gets up and hits KC with the bat. AJ goes for a 2nd rope chokeslam but KC cutters him onto the chairs for 2. KC chairs AJ's back. 

KC is up top and is caught. KC step up enzugiri's him. AJ facekicks him down. AJ chokeslams KC through 2 side by side tables outside. AJ brings KC in and pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright. KC really got some air on the chokeslam through the tables. It was all hardcore wrestling here for the most part and a little more aggression and emotion would have helped this out.

Mike Santana comes out to talk. He says he was taught to speak with his actions instead of his words. He says that mindset helped him carry TNA with his heart and fight. He says he has a new challenger after the battle royal. He says he considers Eric Young a pillar of this place and someone who has a lot of respect. He says he built his name off of fighting those guys and he beat them all. He says he holds down the fort week after week as the TNA champ. 

Daria Rae comes out. She says Eric Young isn't his next contender for the title. She says the ref stopped his match with Steve Maclin, so he never actually beat him. Mike says he dropped him. Daria says Steve Maclin is cleared to return to in-ring action. She says he will face Steve for the TNA Title next week. She says the board loved the idea and she didn't have to run it by Santino.

Santino Marella comes out. Santino says it's good to be back and says he would have been here last week, but someone cancelled his flight. He says he likes the Maclin/Satana match next week. He says he has announcements of his own. He says Indi Hartwell got him unsuspended and she has just re-signed with TNA. Santino says they have 2 champs they can be proud of in Lee and Mike. 

Santino says he loves his daughter but not Stacks. Santino says he'd like to get his hands on Stacks. Daria says Stacks would destroy him. Mike says he has had enough of this crap and says this is terrible. He says the outcome will remain the same no matter who he fights and it'll be 1-2-3. 

Thoughts: This segment was dumb. Mike clearly beat Steve Maclin. He knocked him off of TV for a while during their match. Yet Daria claimed it didn't really count because of the ref stoppage.

TNA Injury Report

Trey Miguel is out with a knee injury and is out indefinitely. Moose has hip and head injuries and is out. EC3 is out with neck injuries. AJ Francis and KC Navarro are under medical evaluation.

Rosemary and Allie vs Mila Moore and Victoria Crawford

Mila grabs Rose from behind. Rose grabs her by the throat. Rose bits her head. Allie then bites Mila. Mila takes a side slam + headbuster. Allie chops Mila then boots her in the gut. Allie kneelifts her.

Allie running corner lariats her then running corner forearms her. Tessa Blanchard trips Allie. Mila boots Allie off the buckles then stomps on her. VC comes in and bangs Allie's head off the buckles. She then throws her by the head for 2. 

VC pulls Allie down by the hair. Mila boots Allie in the gut. Allie takes a double kick in the corner. Allie neckbreakers Mila. Rose comes in and cleans house. She slingblades VC. Rose running corner forearms VC then exploders her. Rose reverse ddt's VC for 2. Allie and Rose do stereo hanging headscissors over the top. Tessa tries to stop it and Mara Sade superkicks her.

Mila is sent into the steps. Allie death valley drivers Mila on the floor. Allie double underhook drops VC on her butt and pins her.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. There were a lot of sloppy moments here and they did a lot of things that weren't even really established moves. At least nobody got hurt. Rose's team needed to win here and they did.

Matt Hardy does a promo. He is behind a fence. He says he and Jeff are out of the cage and says Damascus and Brother Nero have been unlocked from them by The Righteous. Matt challenges them for next week and says they will be obsolete.

TNA X-Division Title - 2/3 Falls - Leon Slater (c) vs Cedric Alexander

1st Fall - Leon hits chops and forearms in the corner. Ced fires back. Leon rolls him up for 2. Leon rolls him up and pins him. Leon leads 1-0.

2nd Fall - This started during the break. Leon gets hung up upside down in the corner. Ced backbreakers him for 2. They chop each other and Ced gets a 2 count on him. Leon jawbreakers him and enzugiri's him. Leon hits lariats. Leon corner facekicks him. Leon rebound spinning heel kicks him. Leon top rope crossbodies him for 2.

They trade pin attempts. Leon's nose is busted open. Ced michinoku drivers him for 2. Leon running facekicks him. Ced lumbar checks him and pins him. The score is now 1-1.

3rd Fall - We join this in progress. Leon facekicks Ced off the arpon then corkscrew dives him over the post. Leon blocks a top rope hurricanrana. Leon 2nd rope styles clashes him. Leon is knocked off the ropes and his leg gets caught on the 2nd rope. Ced throws him head first into the steps.

Ced grabs a headset and says he will be the greatest to ever hold the X-Title. leon's head is busted open. Leon cradles him for 2. Ced forearms him then brainbusters him for 2. Leon slaps him and gets a lumbar check for 2. Leon hits utopia. Leon misses a swanton 450. Ced lumbar checks him twice and pins him. Ced wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: Leon would have had the record here for the longest reigning X-Division champ if he had won. I'm not real sure why they had him lose but this is TNA and this promotion has been screwing over faces since Day 1. The match went a little long and was just okay only without being anything too great. Leon bled not only from the head but he bled from the nose as well.

The lights go out after. The tron says veny, viddi, vicci. Fabian Aichner/Giovanni Vinci from WWE comes out, making his return to wrestling after about 17 months off.

Thoughts: Aichner/Vinci coming back is a random one and I doubt most people even remember him. Nobody loves former WWE talent quite like TNA. It doesn't seem like he's doing his last gimmick which was kind of fun.

Overall thoughts: The battle royal was rushed and not that good. The street fight was the best match of the night and was fine. The women's match wasn't good. The main had commercial breaks that interfered with it and it just wasn't the classic it set out to be. Leon Slater did not get to set the record for the longest X-Division champ because this promotion loves hurting its babyfaces. Giovanni Vinci/Fabian Aichner then made his return after in a surprising move. We also had a pointless segment with Keith Jardin. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the show had a mix of okay and bad stuff on it. It feels like some of the minds behind TNA in the early 2000's and 2010's are back and it's not for the better.
