Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary. We are the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Tony D'Angleo says these guys don't want to wait and he doesn't either. I think he spears Tavion Heights over a table before it gets broken up.

Jaida Parker vs Kali Armstrong

They shove each other. KA grabs her by the chin then JP waistlock takedowns her. KA goes for an armdrag but JP rolls through it with a side headlock. KA side headlocks her. KA misses an elbow drop. JP sliding headlocks her. 

JP shoulders her over then suplexes her for 2. JP lariats her over the top to the floor. KA rams her back into the apron edge. JP kicks her over the ropes then they double lariat each other. We go to PiP break and return.

KA does push up's. JP boots her out of the corner. KA pulls JP's throat down over the top rope. KA springboard crossbodies her. KA punches her down and hits knee drops. KA boots her in the gut in the corner. 

JP sweeps her then back body drops her twice. KA lays on the 2nd rope and JP step up butt drops her down. KA eye rakes her then powerslams her. KA flying shoulders her and picks up the win.

Thoughts: It was fine. I was a bit surprised to see Kali win. These two are similar wrestlers so this was always going to work to some degree. 

Robert Stone and Tony D'Angelo argue in the back. Tony says he's a hunter and says he wants Tavion Heights tonight. Stone agrees.

The Birthright talk in the back. Fit Finlay comes in. Fit says they are supposed to be upholding tradition and not being beaten by gamers. Fit shows them William Regal on the phone. Regal says last week was a disappointing. He says he sent Dempsey back to training. He says they have a 6-man next week and need to take care of business. 

Evil does a video. He says he made his name at home and beat many great wrestlers and won titles. He says the soul of a warrior is never satisfied. He says this is his moment to strike. He says Tony D'Angelo is at the top of NXT with the title. He says he wants the title. He says he didn't give him a gift, he gave him a proclamation. He says they will do battle someday for the NXT Title and it's written in the rising sun. They say Naraku debuts next week. 

Thoughts: The IWC was complaining about Evil's name possibly being Knox Raijin. It looks like it was all for nothing. 

Jasper Troy vs Jackson Drake

JT throws him in the corners then hits corner spears. JT shoulders him over. JD hits leg kicks then he enzugiri's him. JD take a running bodyblock. JD top rope diving meteora's him. We go to PiP break and return.

JD boots him out of the corner. JT rams him into the corner. JD flips over him off the buckles. JD turns a swinging side slam into a spinning ddt. JT kips up and JD is shocked. JD comes off the top and is caught with a chokeslam. JT sentons him. JT beats up Vanity Project outside. He tries to throw Brad over the top but can't. Bayley Humphrey (I think they called her Myka Lockwood) then comes out and slams JT on the floor. JD top rope 450's JT and pins him.

Thoughts: The match was a shorter bout but it was alright. I popped up for Troy doing a kip up. We haven't had any women on male violence for a while so we did it here. This went as it should with Drake being thrown around.

We get a video on Tristan Angels. He says the winds of change flew threw NXT and emerged him. He says he's here to bring class to the brand. He says he knew there was gold running through his veins and he was destined for so much more. He says his name is synonymous with overacheivement. He says he can sheer a sheep in a minute and kick a wrestlers @ss in even less. He says he has a sixth sense for accomplishments and says Myles Borne doesn't even have 5. He insults Cam Hendrix, Shiloh Hill and Hank and Tank. He says he's the star NXT been yearning for and is here. 

We get a profile video on Rhea Ripley.

Zaria comes out and says NXT feels different. She says there's a change in the air and it could be anyone's game. She says she's standing in the women's division with no one holding her back. She says things are how they always needed to be with her alone. She says some people think the NXT Women's North American Title destroyed her but she says it woke her up. 

Tatum Paxley comes out. She says the title fractured the Sol/Zaria relationship but had nothing to do with her. She says Zaria is trying to figure out who she is and says it's hard. She says she ended friendships too and put someone in a casket for the title. She says it won't end with her.

Izzy Rain comes out. She says NXT feels different and she's the new blood in the locker room. She says they should add heavy metal to the title. 

Nikkita Lyons comes out. She credits herself for Izzy being talked about. She says she hears the new flavor of the month shooting over her head. She says the new car smell is wearing off. Lyons says she's not done with Izzy and goes to hit her. The girls all fight and Zar F-5's her. 

The Vanity Project talk to Romeo Moreno. They aren't impressed by him. Smokes says Romeo is the guy who likes to paint. Noam Dar comes in. Drake says Dar was a huge deal 10 years ago. Dar says he's back and it's time to shake off his hiatus. He says Drake is the perfect opponent for target practice next week. Bayley Humphrey/Mikah comes in and says she's with them. Romeo tells Dar he loves his work and he's excited to see him back. 

Kam Hendrix attacks Tony D in the bang as he heads to the ring. Officials break it up. 

Robert Stone borrows someone's headset in the back. He says Tony D vs Tavion is off and Kam is kicked out of the building. He says the mixed tag is happening next. 

Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana vs The Culling (Niko Vance and Izzi Dame)

Ig is thrown by Niko. Niko shoulders him over. Ig gets on his back with a sleeper and cobra twist. Ig armdrags him and hits him with his toy. Ig crossbodies him. Izzi boots Ig from behind. Lola comes in, spin kicks Izzi then hits punches and kicks on her in the corner. Izzi lariats her.

Izzi slams her for 2. Izzi corner spears Lola. Lola boots her out of the corner and rolls her up for 2. Izzi hits her in the gut. Lola seated springboard armdrags her and spin kicks her in the gut. Ig flying headscissors Niko. Ig springboard la silla's Niko outside and Lola la silla's Izzi off the apron outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. Ig hits shots on Niko then is slammed. Niko headbutt drops him for 2. They headbutt each other. Niko waistlock slams Ig for 2. Ig rolls into a ddt on him. Izzi and Lola get in. Lola hits spin kicks on Izzi then Niko. Ig and Lola then do stereo hip attacks for 2 counts. Lola spinning roundhouse kicks Izzi and Niko stops the ref from counting the 3. Izzi running euros Lola or 2. 

Lola armbars Izzi. Ig triangles Niko. Niko and Ig go over the top and Ig is slammed on the floor. Izzi rolls up Lola for 2. Izzi flying knees Lola and pins her.

Thoughts: It had the usual issues with the women being allowed to attack the men and the men being too dumb to do anything about it. Niko showed off some new offense with spinning headbutts. He also slammed Ig pretty good on the floor. I'm sure the heels will get a title shot off of this. I didn't like this all that much.

Myles Borne and Tavion Heights do a promo. Tav is upset. Borne says Tav has more time to prepare since the match is cancelled. Stone says Tony still wants the match if Tav does and Tav does.

Zaria complains to Stone in the back. Stone sets up a tag match with Zar and Lyons vs Rain and Tatum next week. Zar says she's done with tag matches.  

Jaida Parker throws a fit in the back yelling that she's over it and can't do a thing right. Natalya comes in and says what they are saying about JP has come true - she's gotten soft.

Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) vs Darkstate (Cutler James and Osiris Griffin)

CJ waistlocks him then hits euros. Tank boots him out of the corner and crucifixes him. Hank shoulders CJ over then side headlocks him. Hank takes a double lariat. OG slams Hank.

OG takes a double flying shoulder in the corner. OG suplexes Tank. CJ lariats Tank for 2. CJ takes corner splashes then a Hank bulldog. Tank sentons CJ. CJ lariats Tank on the apron. Dion grabs a chair and Shugars stops him. Cuter and OG separate them as they argue.

We go to PiP break and return. CJ chinlocks Tank. Tank takes a corner lariat then a gutbuster from CJ. OG slams Tank. Tank fights off a 2v1 in the corner. OG corner lariats Tank. Hank tags in. He hits offense on CJ and suplexes him. Hank standing sentons CJ then lariats OG over the top. Hank pounces OG on the commentary table. Hank flying back elbows CJ. CJ takes a double spear. 

CJ swinging backbreakers Tank. OG wastelands Tank then vader bombs him for 2. Tank takes a big ending + ddt combo for 2. Tank and CJ trade shots. Hank lariats CJ over the top. CJ backdrops Hank on the apron. Tank's tope is caught outside and he is slammed onto Tank. Hank takes a double team spinning whirlybird bomb and is pinned.

Thoughts: Darkstate's finisher was cool here. It wasn't great but it worked out just fine. Cutler's finally finding his role as the power guy after a few years of not really impressing. They heavily pushed the Dion/Shugars issues during this.

Kelani Jordan mocks Lola Vice in the back and says she should worry about her. Kendal Gray comes in. She says Kelani hurt her friend and now she's her #1 priority.  

We cut to the announcers, who are having tech issues, then cut away.

Emily Agard, the new NXT correspondent, says she's trying to get to know Keanu Carver better. She goes up to him in some ghetto area. Keanu says he doesn't want to talk in front of the camera's. They put the camera down but it is still filming. Emily ask what motivates him. He says it's money. He says he's here to get paid and has a family to feed. He says he told Shawn Michaels to give a chance or cut him or he's out. Keanu says if wrestling doesn't work, he needs to find something that will. He says he's the same person he has always been and will always be. 

Keanu says he knows they are filming up. Keanu is asked about how he knew of the symbol of war. He says he went to college and says he doesn't brag about it. He says the thing they don't know is that he's smart.  

Shiloh Hill talks about NXT last week. He says it was a great night for him. He says Tristan Angels was talking trash. He says he wants to learn more about him and says to let him know good insults for Angels.

Tony D'Angelo vs Tavion Heights

Tav waistlocks him and takes him down. TD then does the same. Tav fireman's carry throws him. TD belly to belly suplexes him. TD running lariats him. TD flips over Tav's back and does like a cutter. Tav hits forearms then knees him in the gut. Tav karelin's lifts him. Tav is on the buckles and TD pushes him down to the floor.

We go to PiP break and return. Tony breaks out of a facelock. Tav flips him backwards on a side slam while using the ropes. Tav flying lariats him for 2. Tav top rope splashes him for 2. They trade shots. TD germans him three times. TD runs into a Tav knee. Tav overhead belly to belly suplexes him. Tav capture suplexes him for 2.

TD fisherman suplexes him for 2. They trade shots. TD hits a big spear. Tav belly to belly suplexes him. Kam Hendrix comes on the apron, Tav slingshots him in and sends him out. Myles Borne then tope con hilos Kam. TD chokeslams Tav and pins him.

Thoughts: It was alright and something different. Tav did a weird slingshot side slam where he flipped Tony backwards. He also did a capture suplex which was kind of like a slam. Borne and Kam then ran down as well.

Tony and Tav hug. Will Kroos corner splashes both then rolls TD into Tav. He says his name is Mason Rook and he has arrived in NXT.

Overall thoughts: It was an okay show here with some different matches than usual that worked out. New blood is on the rise and those people were a major part of this. I liked the men's tag match best here. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall and I liked it.
